- 0:20Speaker 1: What's the chance he's got borrow back?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Go for it?
- 0:24Speaker 3: But what's going on? Everybody? I'm the one, the only,
- 0:27Speaker 3: the w O O K I E. We will eventually
- 0:31Speaker 3: be joined by the normal cast of misfits, but right
- 0:33Speaker 3: now we have the Ewokist of Ewoks Ewok Jr.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Hello keyboard community, Glad to be here this evening.
- 0:41Speaker 3: The PhD of key Forge, Doctor m Sheet. So we're
- 0:46Speaker 3: waiting on Draftscourt. He's going to be very late today,
- 0:50Speaker 3: very late.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Run faster Forrest.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I I don't know why. Maybe maybe he's getting some
- 0:56Speaker 3: of those storms that we got. I was watching the
- 1:00Speaker 3: weather today and they are kind of going towards the
- 1:02Speaker 3: East coast. It looked like it was going more towards Michigan.
- 1:06Speaker 3: How did you well fare the storms?
- 1:10Speaker 1: They were fair.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Sweet.
- 1:15Speaker 2: They hit a little bit closer to home than I
- 1:17Speaker 2: would have liked.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I had a tornado like three point seven miles
- 1:21Speaker 3: away from a house.
- 1:22Speaker 2: It was closer than that for me.
- 1:24Speaker 3: So yeah, oh yeah, you're even closer to Sussex than they,
- 1:27Speaker 3: aren't you.
- 1:28Speaker 2: That was my next road over man.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh was it really that? It was that close? Holy? Yeah,
- 1:33Speaker 3: that's bananas up in Wisconsin. Obviously we had a little
- 1:37Speaker 3: torrential downpour. Sheep gave me crap because I did not
- 1:41Speaker 3: come out to our Alliance Store championship, which I was
- 1:46Speaker 3: really excited for. But unfortunately, you know, the mother nature
- 1:51Speaker 3: said otherwise, and Sheep said, be a man, and I
- 1:54Speaker 3: said no.
- 1:55Speaker 1: So the rest of us showed up.
- 1:59Speaker 3: I think the rest of you got there well before
- 2:01Speaker 3: that sky turned pitch black. Nah, what's a little rain?
- 2:06Speaker 3: Little rain? What's a little rain and a few tornadoes?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Nah, it was not a huge tornado. It was an
- 2:16Speaker 2: e F two, So.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Well, okay, isn't it just F two? What's e F?
- 2:22Speaker 3: What does the stand up? E F two? My wife's
- 2:25Speaker 3: so too. Yeah, the extra fishy, Oh my goodness.
- 2:30Speaker 2: It's a Fuji to scale but basically winds on hundred
- 2:33Speaker 2: twenty miles an hour. There's a whole bunch of trees
- 2:35Speaker 2: ripped out everywhere, but luckily, just some minor damage to
- 2:41Speaker 2: a couple of buildings. Nobody was actually hurt.
- 2:43Speaker 3: So this is a real thing.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Yeah, what happened?
- 2:47Speaker 3: Just the F scale? When did we When do we
- 2:50Speaker 3: lose that it was replaced by e F or is
- 2:57Speaker 3: this just new.
- 3:01Speaker 2: The E standing for enhanced?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, so was it just the Fujita scale
- 3:06Speaker 3: before that and now it's the enhanced Fujita Scale.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Sure, I don't know enough about that.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I've never heard them called EF I've always just like,
- 3:14Speaker 3: oh is an F three year at F four? Say
- 3:18Speaker 3: let's go yep? I mean yeah, just level two by
- 3:25Speaker 3: our house, just level two, not all the way to five. Yeah.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Probably one of my favorite things that I ran my
- 3:32Speaker 2: kids through. We had severe weather unit in fourth grade
- 3:35Speaker 2: a number of years ago, probably about fifteen years ago,
- 3:37Speaker 2: and there was a sweet website that I found that
- 3:40Speaker 2: you could have this mock tornado go through and you
- 3:45Speaker 2: could change the Fujita scale to see its impact on
- 3:49Speaker 2: making things fly or go away and get destroyed. All
- 3:54Speaker 2: the kids loved it. It was It was absolutely amazing.
- 3:57Speaker 2: But sadly that it has not been updated lately, so
- 4:01Speaker 2: we lost another one. Good to the internet. Interwebs, Yeah,
- 4:06Speaker 2: I was.
- 4:07Speaker 3: I got home and like sirens were a blaring, so
- 4:10Speaker 3: we all went to the basement and hung out there
- 4:14Speaker 3: for like an hour or so until the sirens went
- 4:16Speaker 3: off and then they went back on, so it was
- 4:18Speaker 3: back down to the basement. It was a crazy night.
- 4:21Speaker 3: But how was sealed Alliance. Give us some preface to
- 4:26Speaker 3: how we did Sealed Alliance in a very non traditional fashion.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I'm sorry it wasn't Sealed Alliance. This was just our
- 4:33Speaker 3: regular Alliance, but it ended up being Sealed Alliance.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yeah, we played it it was Alliance, so we played
- 4:39Speaker 2: it as Sealed Alliance because that's the best way to
- 4:41Speaker 2: play Alliance.
- 4:42Speaker 3: It's true.
- 4:43Speaker 2: We went ahead and said, you know what a deck
- 4:51Speaker 2: right now is roughly about fifteen, or you could get
- 4:55Speaker 2: a whole box of AOA for twenty. Yeah, I think
- 4:58Speaker 2: it was technically eighteen, and so that's what we did.
- 5:01Speaker 2: We cracked each cracked a box of AOA and you
- 5:05Speaker 2: got to Alliance three pods from it. Amazing. It was,
- 5:10Speaker 2: actually it was. It was a lot of fun. It
- 5:11Speaker 2: was super fun. Uh the old cardboard boxes to be
- 5:14Speaker 2: able to open up and uh to see everyone having fun.
- 5:18Speaker 2: We had six because you didn't show up.
- 5:22Speaker 3: See why are y'all complaining? Because you weren't there and
- 5:27Speaker 3: I would love to be there. We had another friend
- 5:31Speaker 3: who also miss because of travel and work and you know,
- 5:34Speaker 3: life gets in the way and weather gets in the way.
- 5:38Speaker 3: But it was it was a lot of fun.
- 5:40Speaker 2: We were cracking decks and looking at pods and you
- 5:44Speaker 2: have you know, most normal people who would look at
- 5:48Speaker 2: the AOA deck and go nope, nope, and you just
- 5:54Speaker 2: put a pile of nopes and maybe and uh does
- 5:59Speaker 2: it have have this meme? Do we have Jenka? Do
- 6:04Speaker 2: we have gang or not? Yeah, do we have brig.
- 6:08Speaker 2: So it was pretty funny to be able to see
- 6:12Speaker 2: and then our good friends, just one friend in our
- 6:15Speaker 2: group literally unsleeves all the pods, all the decks that
- 6:20Speaker 2: needs to lay out all the cards. It was amazing.
- 6:24Speaker 1: He's also the guy who shows up the latest mister perfect. No,
- 6:33Speaker 1: now we don't name names here.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Oh we can't name. We can't name, we can't name.
- 6:38Speaker 2: We can't name names. But I will say there were
- 6:40Speaker 2: some cards that might have been shifted from one pod
- 6:43Speaker 2: to another.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Oh god, so sloopy.
- 6:48Speaker 2: No, it was. It was great to see like the
- 6:50Speaker 2: different strategies of the well this is not playable, but
- 6:53Speaker 2: it was fun and honestly everyone was able to get
- 7:00Speaker 2: We usually meet up at six thirty and we had
- 7:02Speaker 2: everyone paired off ready to go playing by six forty five.
- 7:06Speaker 2: So it was a great time.
- 7:08Speaker 3: And if you guys would have waited for me, I
- 7:10Speaker 3: wouldn't have gotten there until at least six thirty maybe
- 7:12Speaker 3: six forty five, depending.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And you still would have You still would have been
- 7:17Speaker 2: able to crack your decks and be able to say,
- 7:20Speaker 2: here's my alliance in that.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I can't I can't imagine looking at ALA decks and
- 7:24Speaker 3: being like, oh, these are phenomenal. I will definitely play these.
- 7:31Speaker 2: So she you want some highlights from yours? What did
- 7:34Speaker 2: you end up cracking? Open?
- 7:38Speaker 1: One? Shadows pod worth talking about and a bunch of away.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Okay, so no get for you.
- 7:49Speaker 4: No Jenka, no drummer gangers, no brigs, no Mars first, Shenanigans, nothing,
- 8:00Speaker 4: a double Ronnie Miasma, nerve blast, TEMTP pod Okay, the
- 8:08Speaker 4: best I had solid?
- 8:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that was fine. So what would you have recursion?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Because there was some good recursion in AOA.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Mm hmm at some mediocre logos didn't do much.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Okay, sounds fair.
- 8:22Speaker 2: So what would you have.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Been was some totally trash brob nar just because I
- 8:26Speaker 1: had no creature control?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Otherwise, what did you consider your Mars first that you'd
- 8:31Speaker 2: be looking for? Like? What shenanigans? Can you pull off
- 8:34Speaker 2: with Mars first?
- 8:35Speaker 1: That's in sealed Mars First with with worms is good enough. Yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 1: like you just got to control. If you could control,
- 8:45Speaker 1: that's good enough. It's not that Mars First Shenanigans isn't.
- 8:51Speaker 2: That's more of a B tire. But yes, I get
- 8:54Speaker 2: what you.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Wow, you're playing sealed, I mean could be.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Good enough and it's a sealed so be tire is
- 9:01Speaker 3: probably definitely.
- 9:02Speaker 1: We didn't all open a Jenka deck, a drummer not deck,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and a non tamed amber bursting key cheating deck. Yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 1: like we didn't all have those choices, so songs had
- 9:16Speaker 1: to just play with them.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Yeah aaa, My my twelve pods were really interesting. I
- 9:26Speaker 2: only had two shadows pods, so my amber control was
- 9:31Speaker 2: out of a hole didn't exist.
- 9:32Speaker 3: So you only got two shadows pods. Yeah wow.
- 9:37Speaker 2: And I had miasma and what was that? It was
- 9:44Speaker 2: Actually it was comical because I'm like, oh my goodness,
- 9:46Speaker 2: what is technically so my amber control. I had one
- 9:50Speaker 2: deck that had Lash of Broken Dreams, uh Mysic's the
- 9:55Speaker 2: Resonator and then PROC but the rest of those houses,
- 10:00Speaker 2: like you can't play the pods based on a card. Yeah,
- 10:06Speaker 2: so I had one.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I think in AOA you can, but yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, those were not.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Not even ai I had.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, so one of the Shadows pod was double Miasma,
- 10:18Speaker 2: nerve blasts and swindle.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Eh.
- 10:21Speaker 2: It's okay, but it was not enough. And the other
- 10:24Speaker 2: one was Ronnie swindle, umbra and a gamgee. So yeah,
- 10:35Speaker 2: I went with I don't have Amber control, so don't
- 10:39Speaker 2: roll with Amber control. Well, and you're also opening twelve
- 10:44Speaker 2: instead of even one or like three and then trying
- 10:48Speaker 2: to mix them, so you're you're picturing that your opponents
- 10:51Speaker 2: are gonna have apps, you know, some thing that's a
- 10:53Speaker 2: little bit better. So if you take a pod that
- 10:57Speaker 2: you're bringing in just for creature control as Sheep said,
- 11:00Speaker 2: or just as Amber control for one card, eh, I
- 11:05Speaker 2: think that you have to have a couple of cards, but.
- 11:09Speaker 3: You didn't even like a decent I'm trying to think
- 11:12Speaker 3: like a Sanctum pod where you can get some Umber control.
- 11:16Speaker 2: No nope, no, no capture. So I ended up with
- 11:23Speaker 2: two Brabnar pods that I had double ganger and drummer,
- 11:28Speaker 2: and the other had double drummer and a ganger and
- 11:32Speaker 2: so those were like hmm, that pops out. I ended
- 11:36Speaker 2: up playing my my pod, which was never knife of
- 11:41Speaker 2: the Walker's growth. I had triple punch, Drummer, not double
- 11:45Speaker 2: first Blood, double Ganger, Groggins, Trummer Sun the horns. Oh sorry,
- 11:51Speaker 2: and here's my amber control for the deck. Take that,
- 11:54Speaker 2: smarty pants.
- 11:56Speaker 3: That's when I was playing logos. So if you did it,
- 12:01Speaker 3: if you if you went into AOA sealed with the
- 12:03Speaker 3: whole box and then.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Did not play.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Logos, yeah, he did not play logos. Well yeah, but
- 12:13Speaker 2: I actually liked the pod for a couple different reasons.
- 12:15Speaker 2: It it did have quite a bit of amber pips
- 12:18Speaker 2: and the punches can stun to kind of slow up.
- 12:25Speaker 2: But if you actually look at the sound of the horns,
- 12:27Speaker 2: there's only three creatures, well four technically, the Drummer, Double Ganger,
- 12:32Speaker 2: and then the Grogins. True story, two of my three games,
- 12:38Speaker 2: I just need to get a creature. I have two
- 12:43Speaker 2: of those four that are already out, so I have
- 12:45Speaker 2: a fifty to fifty shot of which one I'm going
- 12:47Speaker 2: to get. Is it gonna be my gang or not
- 12:50Speaker 2: Combo or is it gonna be Grogins. It was Rogos,
- 12:57Speaker 2: so it made me laugh. One was the next card
- 13:00Speaker 2: for Grogens and the other one was we dug a
- 13:03Speaker 2: little bit. But yeah, it was fun outside of that.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Let's see here my other one. I had a very
- 13:11Speaker 2: I had a nice logos. It was Archimedes, triple Helper, Bot, Lyria,
- 13:18Speaker 2: Babel Pit, Pip Suddterkin Uh Titan Librarian, double Brocket boots,
- 13:23Speaker 2: and then we had crazy killing Machine and strange GisMo,
- 13:26Speaker 2: but H went for some efficiency. So and then I
- 13:31Speaker 2: finished it off with my untamed and.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Sound like you're just shuffling sealed that, like did you
- 13:40Speaker 3: not open any of these? Like why are they all
- 13:41Speaker 3: sealed behind you?
- 13:46Speaker 2: The three?
- 13:47Speaker 5: Fine?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Uh but no, but I went with.
- 13:54Speaker 3: You unsealed right, oh yeah, because I was like, it
- 13:57Speaker 3: sounds like you're just going through sealed decks behind of you,
- 14:00Speaker 3: Like what are you looking for?
- 14:03Speaker 2: I just pulled out the cards, but I had I
- 14:06Speaker 2: was hoping for a little bit more on this pod.
- 14:08Speaker 2: But the untamed pod was key Charge regrowth, tintandle and
- 14:13Speaker 2: showed up. So you got the double double key cheat
- 14:17Speaker 2: mimicry and then double Nature's Call. So I really was
- 14:21Speaker 2: looking at double key cheat with mimicry and Nature's Call.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I was hoping the mimicry could actually let me choose
- 14:30Speaker 2: some sea, which I didn't really have or some amber control,
- 14:33Speaker 2: which I didn't have. And then you got silly people
- 14:36Speaker 2: like shape here who just refused to play his cards
- 14:39Speaker 2: and he's gonna like flip his deck and then play him.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Geez, yeah, sucket.
- 14:47Speaker 2: But this this is a deck that eBay lovers are
- 14:52Speaker 2: gonna love. Why all of these rares? And we know
- 14:54Speaker 2: keyboards decks with rares are amazing. So curiosity, what does
- 15:00Speaker 2: curiosity do there, mister mister wookie?
- 15:05Speaker 1: Uh curious?
- 15:08Speaker 3: Ill say? I think that's something with scientists, isn't it.
- 15:11Speaker 3: They have like scientists you steal that was the other one. No,
- 15:16Speaker 3: it's just destroy him.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, but killed, that's right.
- 15:23Speaker 2: So like with logos, looked like yeah, it looked like
- 15:26Speaker 2: something fun to be able to do. And then Kindred
- 15:30Speaker 2: long shot Karana Monkeys, which was again some sea roxidor
- 15:37Speaker 2: nobody cares about, and the Common Cold, which ironically did
- 15:42Speaker 2: some work.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Clear creatures Uh no, uh, our good.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Friend danger Boat had tripled dust switch and uh.
- 15:54Speaker 3: It deals one damage to everything and then destroys creatures,
- 15:58Speaker 3: doesn't it?
- 15:59Speaker 2: Correct? But I didn't see Mars at all. Nobody I
- 16:03Speaker 2: played head Mars, but it was able to do a
- 16:05Speaker 2: damage and I was able to get rid of the
- 16:08Speaker 2: dust switch when I needed it, so.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I didn't fight Pete up. Pete was in the chat,
- 16:13Speaker 3: uh Pete to tell us about his uh I guess
- 16:16Speaker 3: absolute banger.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, happily. So it all began with the preparation
- 16:23Speaker 6: process about a week leading up to the event.
- 16:26Speaker 1: God, no, just tell us about.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Did you did you go ahead and greet use resealing glue?
- 16:34Speaker 3: Nope?
- 16:34Speaker 6: This was a god's honest display Amazon.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah, so.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Can you weigh Martian generosities?
- 16:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's up.
- 16:46Speaker 1: You'd brought the heaviest box.
- 16:48Speaker 6: Yeah, maybe that would work, but no in this case, No,
- 16:50Speaker 6: just dumb luck and a lot of looking at the okay, researching,
- 16:56Speaker 6: you know, what's out there, and then on the drive
- 16:59Speaker 6: up because it's a bit of drive for my local
- 17:02Speaker 6: listen to some AOA Impressions podcasts from way back in
- 17:07Speaker 6: twenty nineteen, and that was kind of neat. Didn't really
- 17:11Speaker 6: tell me anything I didn't already know, but it was
- 17:12Speaker 6: it was fun to get primed for the event in
- 17:15Speaker 6: that way.
- 17:16Speaker 2: And I mean, you have been rocking the SaaS Champs,
- 17:19Speaker 2: so playing all those little anyway has really prepared you.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 17:23Speaker 6: I feel like it did, so Yeah, I went into
- 17:26Speaker 6: it looking for the big ticket items, your your drummernauts,
- 17:31Speaker 6: your Genka, your brig. I knew logos and shadows are essential.
- 17:38Speaker 6: I kind of figured i'd jump on brig if I
- 17:40Speaker 6: saw it, and then for shadows just something like too
- 17:44Speaker 6: much to protect, maybe a brand and a life for
- 17:46Speaker 6: a life, so that kind of stuff Ronnie's of course.
- 17:51Speaker 6: But as I opened my packs, I saw a Genka
- 17:54Speaker 6: dak and I was like, well, I'm keeping that over
- 17:56Speaker 6: this other Martian pod that had generosity and two shatterstorms.
- 18:01Speaker 6: Shatterstorms have been doing a lot of work in SaaS Champs,
- 18:05Speaker 6: so I've grown to really respect that card. But No
- 18:08Speaker 6: went with a Ganka and then saw the drummer Not
- 18:11Speaker 6: didn't really care what else was in it, took that
- 18:14Speaker 6: and what was the third discussing one oh on tamed
- 18:19Speaker 6: pod with two flaxias, a full moon and a key charge,
- 18:24Speaker 6: and I left like two brig decks on the table,
- 18:26Speaker 6: like it's just a crazy display. And as far as
- 18:33Speaker 6: who I played, let's see I played. I played a
- 18:37Speaker 6: danger boat first and the drummer not went off twice
- 18:44Speaker 6: he did gosh, I always forget the name of the
- 18:47Speaker 6: card the logos one where if they have eight, you
- 18:49Speaker 6: steal to cut throat cut throat restart. Yeah, he fired
- 18:53Speaker 6: that off on me twice.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Which which is a fun story. Cutthroat research in AOA
- 18:58Speaker 3: was such a dead card, like it was so like.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah, it was still a bad card.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Well, I think it fires more now.
- 19:11Speaker 2: With the.
- 19:15Speaker 3: With the you know, the the Martian tricks in GR
- 19:22Speaker 3: and GR and whatnot. So I I've definitely got hit
- 19:27Speaker 3: by one hundred percent more cutthroat researches in GR than
- 19:32Speaker 3: I ever did in AOA, because you printed a card
- 19:35Speaker 3: that says if they have eight or more steel too,
- 19:37Speaker 3: but AOA could never produce eight.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Well you're talking about that, but AOWAY also like you
- 19:43Speaker 2: had shadows there and so going to six or seven,
- 19:47Speaker 2: like going to seven or eight above you're worried about
- 19:50Speaker 2: tm TV, you're worried about Ronnie and so things like
- 19:54Speaker 2: that kept you more in check and you're just like,
- 19:57Speaker 2: I don't need to do this. I'll inch by at six.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I don't know. I saw it as a very different setup,
- 20:04Speaker 2: whereas later on you don't have Okay, if I go
- 20:07Speaker 2: burst big, I'm not going to get hit. Oh you
- 20:09Speaker 2: took two from week.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Definitely in era do not have the biggest scaling ember controls.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I mean we have red Line, which is a monster
- 20:20Speaker 3: closed door yep, closed door, but I'm still closed door
- 20:29Speaker 3: and then uh shrinks. Right, that's kind of it. Not
- 20:34Speaker 3: much else kind of going out there with really heavy
- 20:37Speaker 3: scaling umber control. What's the Brobner one, the fallen something
- 20:45Speaker 3: the fallen you lose an ember. Everybody loses an umber
- 20:49Speaker 3: for each creature in their discard pile.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah, somebody blasphemy with the stupid fire one where they
- 20:59Speaker 1: destroy creature and you lose all the amber equal to
- 21:01Speaker 1: the creatures power half the creature's power.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I would I would agree with Eric Waters in our
- 21:09Speaker 2: chat Hoodwinked also is something now that you know?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah hoodwinked and hoodwinked in cover Fire.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Shadows coming back with a vengeance.
- 21:22Speaker 3: But before that, I mean, g r ao A, I
- 21:25Speaker 3: guess AOI had one. There's definitely more reasons to stay like, Okay,
- 21:30Speaker 3: I'm gonna sit like I need to stay below seven
- 21:34Speaker 3: so that these cards can't fire. And yeah, I don't
- 21:42Speaker 3: feel like that's as big of a thing anymore.
- 21:46Speaker 2: So, Pete, having played would you in cheap too, would
- 21:49Speaker 2: you would you play sealed box.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Again every chance I get.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Honestly, like, I looked at the AA the French A
- 21:58Speaker 2: box that I have, I'm like, I would do this
- 22:01Speaker 2: so that I feel like I can open it and
- 22:03Speaker 2: play it. I have a reason to do to use
- 22:05Speaker 2: it versus it just sitting there. So now I had
- 22:07Speaker 2: a blast doing it, and it was nice to go
- 22:09Speaker 2: back with some nostalgia of AOA.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to do what we did with a
- 22:15Speaker 1: full cost modern box.
- 22:17Speaker 2: No, No, it's with Dwight.
- 22:20Speaker 1: L Er AOA boxes. This is now the only way
- 22:22Speaker 1: to play AOA.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I second. So everybody had fun.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Everyone did, and it also spurred us to talk about
- 22:36Speaker 2: potentially running more of a box event even as Straconium
- 22:40Speaker 2: Measures is coming out for our own locals. So we
- 22:44Speaker 2: put together some initial ideas on how to be able
- 22:47Speaker 2: to do that instead of just cracking. Basically, if you
- 22:51Speaker 2: have a box there that you would open it and
- 22:56Speaker 2: you know, here's your deck for the week, and you
- 22:59Speaker 2: do that a couple of weeks, and then you'd potentially
- 23:00Speaker 2: be able to use those decks from the first couple
- 23:03Speaker 2: of weeks in order to be able to create an alliance,
- 23:07Speaker 2: so instead of just randomly cracking decks with the new
- 23:09Speaker 2: set coming to us, hopefully sooner rather than later. I
- 23:14Speaker 2: don't know. I think it's something fun that we could
- 23:16Speaker 2: be able to bring into our own locals.
- 23:18Speaker 3: M more to come, I suppose on that as uh.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yep, flashing that ideas.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Pete's already hammers out the key the key rarium. It's
- 23:32Speaker 3: the picture here. I actually take this picture. Oh, I
- 23:36Speaker 3: worked on it real hard. Yeah, how did what did you?
- 23:39Speaker 3: What did you tell chatchipt to put in?
- 23:43Speaker 6: I did a lot of prompts and then it got
- 23:44Speaker 6: to the point where the image was degraded completely. And
- 23:47Speaker 6: then I collected up all the prompts and moved over
- 23:49Speaker 6: to a different generator and started over again.
- 23:52Speaker 3: So it took a little bit of doing. It turned
- 23:53Speaker 3: out good. Yeah, it does look good. Well, we'll give
- 23:57Speaker 3: you more updates from them from that as as time
- 24:01Speaker 3: goes on. But boys, I think it's time to move
- 24:05Speaker 3: into the new tournament structure. Starting with Portland, we have
- 24:10Speaker 3: a brand new tournament structure headed in as a Jurazz Courts.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Wild Drazz Corps has appeared.
- 24:16Speaker 1: A brand old tournament.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Yeah, no, brand new before by the way airports suck
- 24:23Speaker 5: case you're.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Well, I don't know if any of us were wondering,
- 24:27Speaker 3: but we.
- 24:28Speaker 2: All know we appreciate you being here. Man.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Man, you know what, you know what a great thing
- 24:34Speaker 5: to hear is when when you're like you've been delayed
- 24:37Speaker 5: multiple times, I'm like, I don't have so much time
- 24:39Speaker 5: to get on the podcast. You've plaid multiple times. Like
- 24:42Speaker 5: finally you get on the plane and then like they
- 24:44Speaker 5: pull away and they're like, yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 3: So there's like a lot of traffic into Philadelphia. So
- 24:49Speaker 3: it actually tells us me to.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Sit here for an hour.
- 24:52Speaker 1: So he sat on the tarback Charlotte for an hour.
- 24:56Speaker 1: So like finally we take off, like why and like
- 25:01Speaker 1: we get there, we're just like circling Philly. They're like,
- 25:04Speaker 1: finally the guy comes out.
- 25:05Speaker 5: He's like yeah, so like we're running out of fuel,
- 25:07Speaker 5: so we might have to go to like Baltimore.
- 25:09Speaker 3: It's like, what to Baltimore? Wow? I guess they let
- 25:15Speaker 3: us land though, so we didn't have to divert to
- 25:17Speaker 3: Baltimore to get fuel forever. Could you imagine getting to
- 25:21Speaker 3: your destination being like we need fuel, so we have
- 25:23Speaker 3: to go up. Yeah, just fuel up and then Baltimore, Philly.
- 25:28Speaker 3: What's worse. Is it worse to sit in the airport
- 25:31Speaker 3: on a on a delay, or is it worse to
- 25:33Speaker 3: sit on the airplane. It sucks.
- 25:39Speaker 5: You can't go anywhere, you can't do anything. It's usually
- 25:43Speaker 5: hot flying first class. Yeah, so you know I'm in steerage,
- 25:47Speaker 5: you know, So now.
- 25:49Speaker 2: You are the hamster wheel, move faster?
- 25:52Speaker 5: Well exactly.
- 25:54Speaker 2: You know what will make you feel better A twenty
- 25:56Speaker 2: dollars box of a away that you play with your locals.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, that's what we just talked about. We
- 26:02Speaker 2: had all It was a great time. I know he's
- 26:05Speaker 2: gonna have to go back and listen to it, but
- 26:08Speaker 2: it was a good time. I had a really good
- 26:10Speaker 2: time with it. And while I did not win, our
- 26:13Speaker 2: good friend Pete did and he was very very nice
- 26:18Speaker 2: about taking down our store. I did not take any
- 26:23Speaker 2: reckon us. I did not take a single events. Guys
- 26:27Speaker 2: for this story.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Hi, Pete took them all. It's like basically all pee wee,
- 26:33Speaker 1: pet Pete Pete.
- 26:35Speaker 2: So I was the this is the year of Pete.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Well, yeah, danger Boat got one, Mister Perfect got one. Oh,
- 26:43Speaker 1: Kyle got one.
- 26:47Speaker 5: I did go in Vade Baltimore. Actually for Storha, so
- 26:50Speaker 5: draft for that one, I did get one at my local.
- 26:56Speaker 3: I did not weird story for us too.
- 27:02Speaker 5: There you go.
- 27:03Speaker 2: What what did you end up taking? Was that Arkhan
- 27:07Speaker 2: Alliance or.
- 27:08Speaker 3: So it was?
- 27:09Speaker 5: It was ar Con and then Alliance. So for ar Con,
- 27:14Speaker 5: I was like, I'm not going to use Aria, I'm
- 27:17Speaker 5: gonna do something else. So I decided to go Professor
- 27:21Speaker 5: Deuce and Professor and one I know what too and
- 27:30Speaker 5: one with Professor Douce.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Job.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, there you go, funn amber Sky's deck.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Uh.
- 27:39Speaker 5: And then for Alliance, I played Aria so and I
- 27:45Speaker 5: went to and one with ari An Alliance.
- 27:46Speaker 3: So you know, it was a good time. It was
- 27:50Speaker 3: a good time.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Noise it was two and one able to take take
- 27:56Speaker 2: your tournament?
- 27:58Speaker 5: No, no, no, no there yeah yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Six players two and one can do it.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Two and one can do it.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Yeah, have three rounds of Swiss and no top cut.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Yeah. But speaking of Swiss, guys, brand new tournament format
- 28:17Speaker 3: coming to Baltimore, brand new. Nobody's ever heard It's called Swiss.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Have you guys heard of that? Did you guys read
- 28:27Speaker 3: this article?
- 28:29Speaker 2: Tell me what is Swiss? Is this a cheese?
- 28:32Speaker 3: Uh? No, well, it's it turns out we're gonna have
- 28:35Speaker 3: a number of rounds dependent on the players. Right, They've
- 28:39Speaker 3: got a sweet little table over there, and then it
- 28:43Speaker 3: tells you what the top cut. After those rounds are done,
- 28:45Speaker 3: it's going to tell you what a top cuts to
- 28:50Speaker 3: and then the Top Cup players will move on to
- 28:52Speaker 3: uh to play. Yeah, yeah, this is amazing. I love this.
- 28:59Speaker 3: This is a.
- 29:02Speaker 1: How many years or two do we have?
- 29:03Speaker 3: Three?
- 29:05Speaker 2: We Philly? Uh? It was Philly. So Philly Vaults was
- 29:10Speaker 2: the first to l O and what.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Your Billy vault was was true double limb double.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it was double limb where I had like three
- 29:21Speaker 5: buys in a row or something.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:26Speaker 1: When I start on keyfordge time for minimum result.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Yep. And the later you lost, the more the more
- 29:34Speaker 3: time you had to hang around and do nothing.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah. And I know there was a Facebook post that
- 29:40Speaker 2: you know, asked like, well, why is this what's important
- 29:44Speaker 2: about Swiss one? If you want to play KeyForge you can,
- 29:49Speaker 2: So I really think this is a much better.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Play key Forge without the Swiss Everybody who.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Couldn't No, no, such a.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Big deal to go play Second Amber.
- 29:58Speaker 2: No, it's a it's okay. We can disagree on this,
- 30:03Speaker 2: because of.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Course we're going to disagree on that. That's the point
- 30:05Speaker 1: of the show.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Well, and you got to remember the different iterations that
- 30:09Speaker 3: went through this whole.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Time, right, that's not the point of the show, but great,
- 30:13Speaker 2: great for you, it's.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Kind of the point of the show. But you got
- 30:15Speaker 3: to remember the different iterations.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Right.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Originally we had the original just double elimination and you
- 30:20Speaker 3: were out, which meant you sometimes had a lot of time.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Uh fuck all right, like no, you got whatever you wanted.
- 30:32Speaker 3: I think x Ray took a nap at one of
- 30:35Speaker 3: them until you had to be back. I remember that.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Like that that was and then and then they came
- 30:41Speaker 3: out with Tool and.
- 30:43Speaker 5: The people couldn't in the podcast world couldn't hear your
- 30:47Speaker 5: air quotes when said took a nap.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, took a nap.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Oh.
- 30:51Speaker 3: They couldn't see the wink yep yep ye.
- 30:55Speaker 5: There was going to my room and taking a nap,
- 30:59Speaker 5: and everybody does their me yeah, don't look for it,
- 31:04Speaker 5: don't see who comes to my door.
- 31:06Speaker 2: But this this was a problem because while you're taking nap,
- 31:10Speaker 2: you're not playing key Forge. So the idea of having
- 31:12Speaker 2: consistent rounds where people are playing key Forge is important.
- 31:17Speaker 1: And you yeah garbage.
- 31:20Speaker 3: It was so to l O.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Yes, I agree was a step up. I think it
- 31:26Speaker 2: did a better job. It just didn't work with your
- 31:29Speaker 2: small numbers. So alliance became problematic. And I will still
- 31:35Speaker 2: argue that you're there for an event. If if I
- 31:40Speaker 2: show up for Magic, I want to play Magic. If
- 31:42Speaker 2: I'm there for Stars Monies and I want to play
- 31:43Speaker 2: Stars Monnies, I'm here for key Forge. So early on
- 31:47Speaker 2: when I played key Forge, I was no good at
- 31:50Speaker 2: key Forge.
- 31:51Speaker 1: All right, A lot of people show up to our
- 31:52Speaker 1: event to play Star Wars Minis.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yeah, a bit.
- 31:57Speaker 2: At Star Wars Minis events, I'd play Star Wars minies.
- 32:00Speaker 2: So when I met key Forge, I want to play
- 32:03Speaker 2: key Forge. And the idea if I go, if I'm
- 32:05Speaker 2: someone who's new, I don't have the background, and I
- 32:08Speaker 2: go oh two. Back in the day with Swiss, I
- 32:12Speaker 2: would just continue to play. It was built into the system.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I got to play other people who were at the
- 32:17Speaker 2: same level. Great, now, sheep, you'll go ahead and argue.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yet you had second amber that you could go ahead
- 32:23Speaker 2: and join, but it was early on it was another process.
- 32:26Speaker 2: They had to join to find people. You weren't always
- 32:28Speaker 2: finding individuals.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Very on Second Amber was just find other people in
- 32:33Speaker 3: Second Amber and play correct. There was no there wasn't
- 32:37Speaker 3: like you're in the second Umber, you're playing this person now.
- 32:40Speaker 2: So I think the iteration of tying it in worked
- 32:44Speaker 2: much better as people went on. Uh, but you also
- 32:48Speaker 2: fall into if I'm if I'm playing in day for
- 32:51Speaker 2: Sealed and I opened up a stinker, what do I
- 32:55Speaker 2: want to go out and do? Do I want to keep
- 32:56Speaker 2: playing that same sealed deck? And then you know, I
- 32:59Speaker 2: thought you G staff did a nice job of Okay,
- 33:01Speaker 2: you can open another deck, or you can find something,
- 33:03Speaker 2: or you can talk with your opponent and decide. But
- 33:06Speaker 2: it provided less opportunity to do some side events, and
- 33:11Speaker 2: it also provided less parameters of what to do. So
- 33:16Speaker 2: it was open, Okay, I can choose what I want,
- 33:18Speaker 2: but some individuals need the guidance to say I'm just
- 33:21Speaker 2: going to play this. And so I think that Swiss
- 33:25Speaker 2: really again solves a lot of problems. It provides people
- 33:29Speaker 2: an opportunity to play and Okay, you're not going to
- 33:32Speaker 2: make top cut when you've lost multiple games, but you
- 33:36Speaker 2: start to filter into spaces where people are essentially at
- 33:41Speaker 2: your tier that if I have gone aheadn't gone zero
- 33:44Speaker 2: to four? All right, Well, in the next round, I'm
- 33:46Speaker 2: going to play someone else who's at that same level
- 33:49Speaker 2: and that I had not necessarily seen when we were
- 33:53Speaker 2: over in the second amber. But I didn't have the
- 33:56Speaker 2: experience there, so I don't know how they were grouped it.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I think Swiss provided the opportunity and it gives people
- 34:04Speaker 2: an option to continue to play with people are going
- 34:06Speaker 2: to be about your level. I like what Gigi is
- 34:08Speaker 2: written into the article, so I think the parameters of
- 34:11Speaker 2: this qualifying rounds top cut is really nice. I actually
- 34:15Speaker 2: am excited for the open and for events that have
- 34:18Speaker 2: large numbers. So notice that one fifty six there's a
- 34:21Speaker 2: top sixteen cut. But it what's exciting for me is
- 34:28Speaker 2: that playing any card game, in any other even board games,
- 34:33Speaker 2: Swiss is a very standard, easy to understand process, and
- 34:37Speaker 2: so it's something that again I don't have to think
- 34:42Speaker 2: too hard about if I'm new coming into the game.
- 34:44Speaker 2: It's another way to go, Okay, this is like other games,
- 34:47Speaker 2: and then if I want to play something different, I can.
- 34:50Speaker 2: So I'm excited for this to be able to see it.
- 34:53Speaker 3: My only gripe here, I'm I'm I'm fine with Swiss.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I was to be honest with you as I finally
- 35:01Speaker 3: was really didn't care about too low. The only thing
- 35:04Speaker 3: that pissed me off the right it was whatever, But
- 35:09Speaker 3: like the only thing that pissed me off is like
- 35:11Speaker 3: how many times I ended up in playing rounds only
- 35:16Speaker 3: to fall in the playing round to not make that
- 35:19Speaker 3: top eight cut for whatever reason that happened to me.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I don't know, three or four times. It's like, why
- 35:27Speaker 3: am I always in the playing round and it never
- 35:30Speaker 3: makes sense.
- 35:31Speaker 1: You're more excited for this where you just won't even
- 35:34Speaker 1: get the plane and you'll be cut because.
- 35:35Speaker 2: You're the p Well, I mean that's actually that's actually
- 35:40Speaker 2: one of the things that.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Because because well, okay, but before remember there was no
- 35:46Speaker 3: strength of schedule. Now don't they have to be more
- 35:51Speaker 3: transparent about strength of schedule as we moved forward?
- 35:54Speaker 2: There was I think there was, yeah.
- 35:58Speaker 3: There was, but they always said there, oh, there's no
- 36:01Speaker 3: scroll ortrutive.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Schedule didn't impact how it picked the buye that's what
- 36:06Speaker 1: strength the schedule didn't impact. But strength the schedule was
- 36:10Speaker 1: definitely used for top cut pairing stuff.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Either way, that was always frustrating to me. But either way, yes,
- 36:22Speaker 3: I am happy to have Swiss spec.
- 36:24Speaker 1: You know what I'm looking for with Swiss, which is
- 36:27Speaker 1: gonna happen. And everybody bitching about this after the third
- 36:30Speaker 1: event is in the second or going into the third
- 36:33Speaker 1: and fourth round. Half those players who are excited to
- 36:36Speaker 1: play their next game against somebody at their level finds
- 36:38Speaker 1: out that their player dropped but didn't drop and they
- 36:42Speaker 1: played right. I forgot to drop in the app. Yes, yes,
- 36:45Speaker 1: because that's how Swiss goes. Because after two rounds, after
- 36:50Speaker 1: somebody's mathematically out, there is a contingent of players who
- 36:55Speaker 1: are done. They're they're in, they're in my camera, they're
- 36:59Speaker 1: going to play the minimum number of key Forge games.
- 37:02Speaker 1: They need to find out that they were good or
- 37:04Speaker 1: not good enough this time. The well, if they.
- 37:10Speaker 5: Do the right thing and drop before the round starts,
- 37:12Speaker 5: then it'll all be fine.
- 37:13Speaker 1: But yeah, but this is g and there no you know,
- 37:18Speaker 1: dexter that none right and and then yeah.
- 37:24Speaker 2: So here here's my question. Boys. We have the app
- 37:28Speaker 2: that we have been using for tool low, and yes,
- 37:32Speaker 2: it tells you to go ahead and submit afterwards. And
- 37:35Speaker 2: Josh is really good and always asking people to you
- 37:38Speaker 2: smit me like he is on top of that, but
- 37:41Speaker 2: it's there's still people that he has to help.
- 37:45Speaker 1: People can't manage to drop.
- 37:47Speaker 2: So my question really comes when you start the need
- 37:51Speaker 2: their needs? Should there.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Needs? Number one, there needs to be harsher rules for
- 37:58Speaker 3: not submitting in a timely manner.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Well what's timely?
- 38:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 38:03Speaker 2: I don't think that.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Go ahead and implement and deal with that.
- 38:07Speaker 3: You are at a high level of my goodness of
- 38:14Speaker 3: the people at this event have been at these events
- 38:18Speaker 3: before you.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Because these do he's like a dumb ass if it's
- 38:24Speaker 1: your used to be run. They're just like a bunch
- 38:27Speaker 1: of friends having a good time. It ain't that serious.
- 38:30Speaker 2: So my question is is it possible just to have
- 38:36Speaker 2: instead of a drop out, which again I think should
- 38:39Speaker 2: be there and should help. But when we start the round,
- 38:43Speaker 2: is it that big of a deal to have a
- 38:44Speaker 2: button that says I am here and I'm playing in
- 38:47Speaker 2: the round. It's something else that has to be done.
- 38:50Speaker 1: If you can't hit the drop out button, what makes
- 38:53Speaker 1: you think they're gonna hit that button? Yeah?
- 38:55Speaker 2: No, no, no no, Because here's the situation.
- 38:58Speaker 1: They gotta wait the five minutes ver get to their
- 39:00Speaker 1: table and check it out. Oh these are the people
- 39:02Speaker 1: aren't here? Now we got to repair because we know
- 39:05Speaker 1: no actually here to play.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Because here, here's here's what's gonna happen. You're gonna come
- 39:09Speaker 2: in if I have if I'm starting on two o'clock,
- 39:13Speaker 2: it is again at what one fifty five you have
- 39:16Speaker 2: reported and you're either here player.
- 39:19Speaker 1: That's kind of go great when somebody misses the check
- 39:21Speaker 1: in or their app doesn't work, and then.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Then you have the five minutes to go up and
- 39:26Speaker 2: be able to talk.
- 39:27Speaker 1: And then they have to repair if anything is done wrong.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Like I don't see that being very functional at all.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Again, this is why it's here. But many other card
- 39:43Speaker 2: games and other games can go ahead and run Swiss. Yes,
- 39:47Speaker 2: you do have to have a cutoff point. Yes you
- 39:49Speaker 2: do have some people.
- 39:50Speaker 1: They just live. But the fact that people drop and
- 39:52Speaker 1: wander off because it's not that big of a deal.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Well but it is a big deal when you go
- 39:59Speaker 2: ahead and and if you have two players that are
- 40:02Speaker 2: not if your opponent and my opponent both drop, then
- 40:06Speaker 2: we get a win off of a bye.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Well, no, you get a win off off a no show.
- 40:13Speaker 2: It's a win off of a no show. But when
- 40:14Speaker 2: you have smaller numbers. Again, yes, it's there, but it's
- 40:20Speaker 2: not a good feel moment when you're going ahead and
- 40:23Speaker 2: looking at trying to be able to make it into
- 40:25Speaker 2: a top top cut. I don't know, doesn't bother you,
- 40:30Speaker 2: that's fine.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I mean, but if you're at the two losses and
- 40:36Speaker 3: you're a potential next person is a bye. You're not
- 40:40Speaker 3: making a top cut anyways.
- 40:41Speaker 1: So yeah, but very clear with people posting, they're very
- 40:47Speaker 1: interested to know where they finished in the middle of
- 40:49Speaker 1: the back.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Correct, sure, and it was like the old list of
- 40:56Speaker 2: one hundred people where am I at?
- 40:58Speaker 5: So yes people and that was cool And when you
- 41:01Speaker 5: got you know, uh, shards for it, like or points
- 41:06Speaker 5: or whatever, right, it felt like you were Yeah, I
- 41:11Speaker 5: felt like you you were accumulating points over a season, right,
- 41:13Speaker 5: and they were the leaderboard and like that was cool stuff.
- 41:20Speaker 2: To be able to do.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Swiss is still too well ow to me. So I
- 41:25Speaker 1: am fine with whichever way they want to run it
- 41:27Speaker 1: because they both play the same.
- 41:29Speaker 2: To me, the very similar you know what is weird
- 41:33Speaker 2: to me?
- 41:33Speaker 5: Like that the timing of this, like we like we
- 41:39Speaker 5: bitched ad vote about two l O so much because
- 41:41Speaker 5: like it was super weird to just not use Swiss right,
- 41:45Speaker 5: and then finally we're like, fine, whatever, I guess we'll
- 41:47Speaker 5: play this, and then we started didn't care anymore, like
- 41:53Speaker 5: we had given up.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Carri Azibo mentioned it's got to be because they know
- 42:01Speaker 1: eight and eight ish player Alliance event are going to
- 42:06Speaker 1: be the normal again this year. That's eight player to
- 42:10Speaker 1: l O is.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Uh, it's a it's a buy, you get to buy and.
- 42:16Speaker 1: It's automatically into the top cut.
- 42:19Speaker 5: And this isn't so this is better, but it's not
- 42:22Speaker 5: massively better.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Now, So if you have an eight in a Swiss
- 42:25Speaker 3: style format, do you just go direct to top eight?
- 42:29Speaker 2: Well, there's this thing called three to eight players, three
- 42:33Speaker 2: rounds top cut.
- 42:34Speaker 1: None very clear, it's just you're you are straight playing
- 42:38Speaker 1: single limb, eight player single limb. But it's three rounds.
- 42:44Speaker 3: No, it's it's it's just three rounds. So, I mean
- 42:47Speaker 3: there is a an eight person event. Is there a
- 42:50Speaker 3: possibility that there could be multiple two ones?
- 42:53Speaker 1: No, and eight players. It's always fitted. It's you go
- 42:57Speaker 1: from eight players to four players to two players to
- 42:59Speaker 1: one's seven under under under that it gets messy because
- 43:07Speaker 1: you had definitely have this point where you have like
- 43:14Speaker 1: you can have an undefeated player playing x one player
- 43:18Speaker 1: and is this now the final round? So they're playing
- 43:22Speaker 1: best of three because the finals are still supposed to
- 43:25Speaker 1: be best of.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Three, are still the best of three, So that.
- 43:30Speaker 1: That does like six players is really weird because it
- 43:34Speaker 1: could be a two one two one two one split
- 43:38Speaker 1: after round three. But which one of those people was
- 43:43Speaker 1: the finals? I don't know. Yeah, that can get that
- 43:45Speaker 1: can definitely get messy. It can still under eight players, it.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Will depend on the software and how it's written. Is
- 43:52Speaker 2: to where where where some of the strength.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Josh said there Josh just said in the chat under
- 43:59Speaker 3: eight will have no no final matchup at all. So
- 44:05Speaker 3: you're literally just playing Swiss at that point.
- 44:08Speaker 1: So not even final a best of three at the end. Wow.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Cool, So you're just playing you're playing straight Swiss. So yes,
- 44:15Speaker 3: you could have you could be two to one and lose,
- 44:20Speaker 3: or you could be three to oh or what you
- 44:22Speaker 3: two oh and next one and you can have two
- 44:25Speaker 3: players at two to one at the top. Yeap, Yes
- 44:29Speaker 3: that is possible.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Well that's exciting. Well that's a problem for Alliance players,
- 44:34Speaker 1: so that ain't us.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I think this is good.
- 44:37Speaker 3: I like now or sheep said it's gonna be a
- 44:39Speaker 3: problem for Alliance players, but after he wins like one
- 44:42Speaker 3: of them and is like, well, I'm gonna go for
- 44:43Speaker 3: Alliance now, and then is like becomes now, become.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Out my problem. Now that's a future sheet problem, not
- 44:51Speaker 1: a current, not a today that's a problem. That's right.
- 44:55Speaker 2: As I said, though, I think for worlds and for
- 44:58Speaker 2: KFC where the numbers can actually hit that one twenty plus,
- 45:02Speaker 2: I like the idea for a top sixteen. I like
- 45:06Speaker 2: that it is spelled out in something for us to
- 45:08Speaker 2: be able to shoot for. So the only complaint that
- 45:11Speaker 2: I had on here was well maybe potentially too, that
- 45:15Speaker 2: we still don't have play style for any locals. There
- 45:18Speaker 2: isn't really.
- 45:20Speaker 1: I have it, we don't use it, but.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I no, no, nobody uses play style though, so okay,
- 45:25Speaker 2: it's just.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Like it's like it's a lot of it is a
- 45:29Speaker 1: lot of doesn't mean that, and it doesn't automatically integrate
- 45:33Speaker 1: into the only thing we care about it locals anymore,
- 45:36Speaker 1: which is key. Fake Internet points.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Internet. Why do we still not have fake Internet points
- 45:42Speaker 3: at gig.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Well didn't they they Well, because it's in a design process,
- 45:48Speaker 2: they're still in beta given well, because.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Then once then once think Internet points become there, then
- 45:54Speaker 1: it becomes this whole thing like, oh, look, we're playing
- 45:56Speaker 1: extra events every week with extra players that don't exist
- 46:00Speaker 1: to give out extra fake points.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Because now I'm saying a leader I'm saying, just a
- 46:04Speaker 3: Vault Tour leaderboard. The only way to gain those fake
- 46:08Speaker 3: Internet points is to participate in the Vault Tour.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Didn't somebody somebody somebody was doing that.
- 46:18Speaker 2: It was being run by one of our internationals last year.
- 46:25Speaker 1: And they definitely track that stuff on key chain.
- 46:28Speaker 3: Now can you sort it just by just the Vault Tours.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I'm about to go click on some things.
- 46:39Speaker 2: So it Wookie. You were talking about this earlier. What
- 46:43Speaker 2: do you think of the idea for Brick. Here's a
- 46:46Speaker 2: straight cut. So instead of the playing rounds you're let's
- 46:52Speaker 2: say there are we'll go with what fifty six people
- 46:59Speaker 2: top cut and you finish it number nine or number ten.
- 47:04Speaker 2: You have the same record as it's number nothing.
- 47:07Speaker 3: That's never happened to me before. It'll understand that and
- 47:12Speaker 3: then I move on with my day. I mean, I've
- 47:15Speaker 3: had this happen. I had this happen in Indianapolis. I
- 47:17Speaker 3: had that. I can't even tell you the amount of
- 47:19Speaker 3: times I ended I mean, but I ended up four
- 47:21Speaker 3: to two. So in a two l O system, I
- 47:23Speaker 3: was out anyways, right, So it didn't change much. Like
- 47:27Speaker 3: like Josh said in here, sometimes depending on a number
- 47:30Speaker 3: of players, four two can make it. I know that
- 47:34Speaker 3: when we get into higher like the But isn't.
- 47:36Speaker 1: There some numbers in this where X ones don't make it?
- 47:42Speaker 1: In what in Swiss? Yeah, I don't know.
- 47:47Speaker 3: It's possible, I suppose, because I know I'm trying to
- 47:54Speaker 3: these jays f FG days where X ones didn't make it.
- 48:01Speaker 3: But I think a lot of the times they just.
- 48:04Speaker 1: To their top cut was this many rounds anybody whose
- 48:08Speaker 1: X one goes and there would be odd numbers of players. Yep.
- 48:12Speaker 3: Sometimes sometimes that's I mean, that was how it was run.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Then well, no, they they did have a top cut,
- 48:19Speaker 3: but because of some of the complaining that they didn't
- 48:23Speaker 3: have a chart very similar to this in the original days.
- 48:26Speaker 3: But then because of some of the complaining by a
- 48:28Speaker 3: few people. And I think we all, some of us
- 48:31Speaker 3: who have been around long enough knows who's who's those
- 48:33Speaker 3: people's worst. Yeah, we complain a lot. I mean we do.
- 48:39Speaker 3: I could just say the people's names if you want. No, okay,
- 48:43Speaker 3: so we'll leave it an anonymous for now. Mister Perfect, Yeah,
- 48:48Speaker 3: definitely was mister Perfect. It was him and his cohorts.
- 48:53Speaker 3: But because of some of the complaining, they're just like, well,
- 48:55Speaker 3: if it's X one, like we'll just do that, and
- 48:57Speaker 3: I don't I remember. They did have playing like the
- 49:00Speaker 3: two bottom seeds, like if it was like, oh, it
- 49:03Speaker 3: ends up being eleven or yeah whatever, it was like
- 49:06Speaker 3: ten people that finished X one, then the two, the
- 49:09Speaker 3: nine and ten would battle it off to see was
- 49:11Speaker 3: number nine, and then you would you would do X
- 49:14Speaker 3: onex but anyways, yeah, right whatever, Yeah, that's basically playing rounds, right,
- 49:21Speaker 3: and that's Cascade basically didn't have playing rounds. But then
- 49:25Speaker 3: once we went to YETI, they did have that kind
- 49:28Speaker 3: of like sometimes playing sometimes playing round.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Cool.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Sorry I'm reading this. The cutoffs are designed so that
- 49:41Speaker 3: the round ends at one.
- 49:44Speaker 2: X O one.
- 49:47Speaker 3: All X ones normally make it, and there will be
- 49:49Speaker 3: a possibility of some X two. So you so that's
- 49:54Speaker 3: why you grind it out because you might be the
- 49:56Speaker 3: lucky unless you're like, you know, one and three, Well
- 50:01Speaker 3: you're not making it.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it comes, it comes down.
- 50:05Speaker 1: It is three l O. Now once you've got three losses,
- 50:08Speaker 1: you can click.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Pretty much. If if if it is not the beginning
- 50:14Speaker 3: of the event and you're at two losses, like if
- 50:17Speaker 3: it's round four and you're two and two, I guess
- 50:19Speaker 3: at two and two US might want us. Now you're
- 50:21Speaker 3: probably done.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you need to lose the last two rounds or
- 50:25Speaker 1: have lost against well, you have to have lost two
- 50:28Speaker 1: people who have super strong records.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Right, correct, So like when I want ahead in loss
- 50:33Speaker 2: in the first round in Vegas against dis this and
- 50:36Speaker 2: very close game that you know, finishing in one of
- 50:39Speaker 2: the top two, and my other loss was to someone
- 50:41Speaker 2: who finished in the top four, those two losses at
- 50:44Speaker 2: two l OH basically eliminated me completely, whereas my strength
- 50:49Speaker 2: of schedule probably would have actually allowed me to get in.
- 50:53Speaker 2: So if you look at it that way, that's potentially
- 50:55Speaker 2: where that X two comes in and you can start
- 50:57Speaker 2: to look But it is it's such a small number
- 51:01Speaker 2: that has any impact. For the most part, you want
- 51:03Speaker 2: to be able to make it in with just zero
- 51:05Speaker 2: losses or one loss.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Right, I mean, still still my question still sits here.
- 51:12Speaker 3: As I was reading this article on I don't even
- 51:15Speaker 3: remember what day it was, Tuesday, Wednesday? Why why the change?
- 51:22Speaker 1: Why of Alliance? Because so are Alliance is a disaster.
- 51:28Speaker 5: I think you're right, and I do think so this
- 51:31Speaker 5: this is something interesting and telling.
- 51:33Speaker 3: Right, So if you were.
- 51:34Speaker 5: To ask what is CTP more committed to we we
- 51:39Speaker 5: may not have known the answer before, but if it
- 51:42Speaker 5: was too l O or Alliance, he is more committed
- 51:45Speaker 5: to Alliance than to too l O.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Good inference there, sir good?
- 51:50Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so sorry adaptive folks, another sacrifice toll before
- 52:00Speaker 5: allow Adaptive to become a main event.
- 52:03Speaker 2: But but look.
- 52:04Speaker 1: But can be official?
- 52:06Speaker 2: Is that's true? The true?
- 52:09Speaker 3: So there's maybe the silver lining.
- 52:12Speaker 1: You can be somebody's side piece.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, well, I will say joking is joking aside
- 52:19Speaker 2: for the side piece. The idea for each Volture stop
- 52:22Speaker 2: hosted by gig will have one side event taking place
- 52:25Speaker 2: each day, so notice it's not here's on Sunday only.
- 52:28Speaker 2: It allows Gig to be able to run some of
- 52:30Speaker 2: these more like we're potentially more profitable side events, more
- 52:35Speaker 2: engaging side events. You can you can have events that
- 52:39Speaker 2: maybe the local area is more interested in. I think
- 52:43Speaker 2: all of these are great things when you can look
- 52:45Speaker 2: at it at three day events, I now can have
- 52:47Speaker 2: three different Okay, I busted out on this day, I
- 52:51Speaker 2: have I have a nice side event to be able
- 52:53Speaker 2: to look forward to. So I think it's a good thing.
- 52:58Speaker 3: My wonder too, Yeah, I agree, my wonder too on
- 53:02Speaker 3: this one. Are these going to be anything goes? Are
- 53:07Speaker 3: only official official Gigi anointed formats?
- 53:14Speaker 1: No, No, they'll definitely be.
- 53:16Speaker 3: They'll do whatever they want to do.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Yes, it'll do it people want them to do.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Or it's just good. I mean, just sealed. Let's just
- 53:27Speaker 3: do sealed.
- 53:29Speaker 2: What I think is interesting is Portland is roughly a
- 53:32Speaker 2: month away, so that's May fifteenth to the seventeenth. And
- 53:35Speaker 2: if you look here, it does say the exact nature
- 53:38Speaker 2: of each side event will be an out, so we
- 53:40Speaker 2: soon enough boys, within the next month, we should have
- 53:43Speaker 2: actual information because it says they're going to be prior
- 53:45Speaker 2: to each tour stop, they'll be able to tell you
- 53:48Speaker 2: what and that's important.
- 53:50Speaker 3: That horrible. You think that's actually gonna happen. You do,
- 53:55Speaker 3: you'll know what do you guys want to do?
- 54:01Speaker 2: I think it over under. I think that it has
- 54:04Speaker 2: to be at least a week out, but I think
- 54:06Speaker 2: it's going to be closer to at least two.
- 54:08Speaker 5: That's that they're going to announce the event. It could
- 54:13Speaker 5: be cool, right, like remember back.
- 54:16Speaker 3: You think they're going to announce what's what the side
- 54:18Speaker 3: event is going to be?
- 54:20Speaker 2: Yeah? Why not?
- 54:21Speaker 3: You are insanely optimistic.
- 54:26Speaker 2: If it's like I think, I think a week is
- 54:31Speaker 2: very reasonable. I think that you're probably closer reasonable.
- 54:35Speaker 3: But I think you're going to find out when you
- 54:36Speaker 3: get there.
- 54:38Speaker 2: No, because you need to be able to have time.
- 54:42Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like you have to bring a deck from
- 54:45Speaker 5: you know, Amber Skies that has house you know whatever
- 54:50Speaker 5: has Brobner or something.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Right, you think that's going to be?
- 54:56Speaker 5: It could be.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I think you know we're playing Alliance. Who wants to
- 55:01Speaker 1: do Alliance?
- 55:02Speaker 2: Oh?
- 55:02Speaker 1: We're doing an arcan. I mean maybe this is a
- 55:05Speaker 1: sealed pod.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Who wants to play?
- 55:07Speaker 1: I think you are so far off. Well, you need
- 55:11Speaker 1: they have a bunch of stuff that's been running the
- 55:13Speaker 1: past by fans that they can copy. They've got a
- 55:17Speaker 1: bunch of people begging for Alliance or for Adaptive. I
- 55:21Speaker 1: almost guarantee that gets run at every event on one.
- 55:24Speaker 5: Day, could be.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Which is good, it needs to and then uh, and
- 55:31Speaker 1: then after this year it can you know, go back
- 55:34Speaker 1: where it belongs.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Who are you what you do with?
- 55:36Speaker 3: Sheep? Some weird dudes on the internet. She's one of
- 55:41Speaker 3: the weird dudes on the internet. We according to Josh,
- 55:49Speaker 3: we effectively take we we have filled the bad take
- 55:52Speaker 3: quota quite effectively. I mean we're here therefore, we are
- 55:56Speaker 3: here to over exceed your expectations. That's really all we're
- 56:00Speaker 3: here for. And by a c boys he I'm guessing
- 56:04Speaker 3: that's more pointed at me. Ye see, I hope, I
- 56:10Speaker 3: hope it is released a lot sooner. It's it's not
- 56:14Speaker 3: my hope that that it's not. My hope is that
- 56:17Speaker 3: there's a game plan.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I wonder if there will be consistent team Sunday events again.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that would be a lot of fun. Team
- 56:26Speaker 3: events are always good. Can it be run with Vault
- 56:30Speaker 3: Master twenty three again?
- 56:35Speaker 5: Why not.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Play? You think they're still getting three hanging around? No,
- 56:41Speaker 3: if you're I don't know, probably not. Maybe some DT
- 56:44Speaker 3: floating around over there somewhere that DT. Definitely some God, it's.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Gonna be sealed DT.
- 56:54Speaker 5: You know what, It's gonna be sealed aptive and then
- 56:57Speaker 5: quick Draw is not going to be there. He's gonna
- 57:01Speaker 5: be sad.
- 57:02Speaker 2: I will play if if you can get me a
- 57:04Speaker 2: box of DT for twenty bucks, I will play the
- 57:08Speaker 2: old Alliance DT.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:11Speaker 5: I don't think you can get a twenty bucks.
- 57:14Speaker 2: Why I'm saying if we do, like I'm in, I
- 57:19Speaker 2: might either.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I think you think GG would put that stuff on sale.
- 57:24Speaker 5: They want the value right like they learned from the
- 57:27Speaker 5: fire sale. Now you can get a DT display on
- 57:33Speaker 5: eBay right now, free delivery. Yeah, that's what I'm reading too.
- 57:38Speaker 5: Josh says you can have my throne of DT over
- 57:41Speaker 5: my dead body. Is that because of the fits chair?
- 57:44Speaker 5: It's just yeah, the DT yeah? Yeah, and all those
- 57:49Speaker 5: Is it an empty throne where you're just sitting in
- 57:51Speaker 5: empty boxes?
- 57:51Speaker 3: Though?
- 57:53Speaker 5: Yeah, all the like AA play mats are his, like
- 57:56Speaker 5: the cushy part of the chair, the cushy part of
- 57:58Speaker 5: the padding.
- 58:00Speaker 2: I'm still a little salty. Our our local store, which
- 58:03Speaker 2: does not exist, wow, doesn't exist for a play spase anymore,
- 58:07Speaker 2: would not go ahead and let us have like the
- 58:10Speaker 2: sweet price support matts unless we had a certain amount
- 58:13Speaker 2: of people and then the pandemic happened and we didn't
- 58:16Speaker 2: get them anyway.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and then he gave yeah, so game, that's somebody
- 58:22Speaker 3: and they tried to sell them and nobody bought them
- 58:26Speaker 3: because that there.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Maybe it's just more fun to give them out to
- 58:29Speaker 2: people like just here you go, you showed up.
- 58:35Speaker 3: You can we can hold on.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Every dollar.
- 58:41Speaker 3: I think you can get six Dark Tidings boxes for
- 58:44Speaker 3: two eighty nine. That's fifty box crying.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Okay, that's still twice what I'm willing to pay. Yeah,
- 58:52Speaker 1: that twenty twenty dollars is a box price. I will
- 58:56Speaker 1: pay twenty bucks to play.
- 58:58Speaker 3: I'm working my magic.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I will.
- 59:01Speaker 2: I will actually go up to thirty. I will tell
- 59:03Speaker 2: you that. I know, big spender, tell you big spender.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Oh like it?
- 59:10Speaker 3: It was fun?
- 59:13Speaker 1: All right?
- 59:13Speaker 4: Boy?
- 59:14Speaker 3: Can we just buy somebody else's crap decks that aren't
- 59:16Speaker 3: open yet and just hand them out?
- 59:18Speaker 5: No, I mean that is that is what.
- 59:20Speaker 1: I can't get a new Evil Twin. I'm not interested.
- 59:23Speaker 3: Oh well, that's true, I forgot about Evil Twins. Should
- 59:28Speaker 3: we can? Also we can also get low decks that
- 59:31Speaker 3: are the same as other Wow decks. Whoa exact twins
- 59:37Speaker 3: and right for that?
- 59:38Speaker 2: But no, because part of the part of the fun
- 59:42Speaker 2: of cracking, even though it is most likely not going
- 59:47Speaker 2: to be relevant at all in the present meta. You
- 59:51Speaker 2: can potentially pull something fun. So Pete, you're still here?
- 59:56Speaker 2: Did you pull an AOA deck that actually was fun
- 59:59Speaker 2: and and something that you know showed up on SaaS
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: is a little bit higher?
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Definitely higher SaaS. I haven't gone through them yet to
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: see if I have any bangers for SaaS Champs, but
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: I'm sure they're in there.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: The ple Ortano deck that you didn't choose to play,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: so yes, I think, really you lost? How dare you?
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: I played Artanu.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: My story champs? How did you do that? Differ?
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I was a solid to one.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: But let me say the giga deck I opened is
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: a ninety five or ninety six SASS, So it's it's
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: like in the top thirteen all time AOA deck SAS
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: wise you know something later, so that's pretty awesome.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: So again that gem is still out there in that
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: nineties or why Yeah, and for AOA like a ninety
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: six SASS was amazing.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that was that was hot amber control of four
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: point five speed though twenty three.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: So this is this top what hold on? So to
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: expected Ember, Oh, I gotta look at this. I'll find
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: the monsieur of inertia. M Oh, look at this, all right,
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: here we go, all right, seventeen printed yep, yep, yoh.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: He's even got some project. He's even got the project x.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Y Z the x y S. Yeah, that's part of
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: my deck. Is good.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: You could uh you could uh you could.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Up over there.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Hey, you could do some weird stuff with it.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: It's only one eight on the draft score. What do
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: you mean you could mar generosity and then uh, there's
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: a helper bot, so you could definitely helper Bot Martian
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Generosity and then c x Y researcher to get it back.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: You are living in Christmas Tree I.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: Am living in Christmas tree Land.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: But this is possible, totally reasonable, totally my triple Helper
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Martian Generosity into the zy extra beg the come on,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: it's got a memory too. I could set this up.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: You'll just have lost because I'm all already forged all
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: my keys.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Well not with forging your keys, because you just had
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: one pod that was good.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Well, no, we're not talking about the double uh double
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: hypnogame is fun. Well I like that, so you know
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: you do some AOA stunny bits here, right, Amber conduction Unit.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: What's that ninety six right now in the SaaS Champs. There,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: pete something something better, I'm sure better. I'm sure six to.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Quick draw with the giant brained alien of bat Cove.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: I could, I could challenge quick draw and he doesn't
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: want to play because it remained best of three. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: just got to give it seven days. He won't match
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: up with me, and then I'll take yes.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: Always if you do not respond to the challenge within
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: seven days, it your deck doesn't stay dead, you know,
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: you can bring it back exactly.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Chart of Resurgence, Shard of change, double in here somewhere,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: redline location against all flags.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Uh yeah, that buddy, isn't this the one fro that
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: he had from Necho?
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Because isn't it the shard of resurgence and that he
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: could go.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: He definitely had from Neco. Yeah that's pretty cool.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Anyway, anyways, back to it, we'll see got
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: the side events. That's about it. We were going to
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: do do the list of off. We were going to
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: do houses this week. I'm glad to see that that
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: didn't happen. I suppose I didn't.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Get the homewory.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: I know you have it an hour already. You can
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: save it for next week.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: That's right, because next week the only thing we'll have
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: to talk about is the side events that will be
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: at Portland, because Josh will have them out by then.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yep, definitely, Yeah, well probably we'll probably have to
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: push A m A back two weeks. So you can
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: still put your am A questions uh into the A
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: m A channel over on the discord and go check
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: out the picture that's tournament questions too. You can ask
