0:41
SPEAKER_02: We're excited to be here.
0:42
SPEAKER_03: So I screwed up the time, ladies and gentlemen.
0:47
SPEAKER_03: I screwed it up pretty bad.
0:50
SPEAKER_03: They're in mountain time zone.
0:53
SPEAKER_03: I'm in central time zone.
0:55
SPEAKER_03: And I just thought, all right, well, that's two hours, no big deal.
0:59
SPEAKER_03: I'll just record at nine o'clock.
1:01
SPEAKER_03: So I'm out with Janine.
1:03
SPEAKER_03: And this is what happens when you become empty and esters.
1:05
SPEAKER_03: She looks at me and goes, I want ice cream.
1:07
SPEAKER_03: I was like, Yeah.
1:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:09
SPEAKER_03: Done deal.
1:10
SPEAKER_02: Pick up and go.
1:11
SPEAKER_02: Done.
1:11
SPEAKER_03: So we just went and got some ice cream.
1:13
SPEAKER_03: And Cameron, the sweetheart that he is, called me and is like, hey, are we still podcasting it?
1:17
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, yeah, we're podcasting 45 minutes.
1:20
SPEAKER_03: He's like, nope.
1:22
SPEAKER_01: No, my favorite is what she said when we were trying to figure out maybe if I thought this was an April Fool's Day joke a day late.
1:30
SPEAKER_01: Because originally it was supposed to be on April 1st.
1:33
SPEAKER_01: So I was like, I don't think he realizes his April Fool's joke isn't hitting right anymore.
1:38
SPEAKER_03: No, I'm I would never hurt people's feelings.
1:42
SPEAKER_03: We understand that.
1:43
SPEAKER_02: We understand it.
1:43
SPEAKER_02: You're good.
1:44
SPEAKER_03: It's an idiot who can't figure out time zones.
1:46
SPEAKER_03: And it was Ralph, too, because I called, I was talking to Ralph today.
1:50
SPEAKER_03: Hey, I've got Jane Ann on.
1:51
SPEAKER_03: I'm going to Cameron on.
1:52
SPEAKER_03: And he goes, What's what time is it there?
1:55
SPEAKER_03: And I go, I don't know.
1:56
SPEAKER_03: It's two hours, right?
1:57
SPEAKER_03: Mountain time zone.
1:57
SPEAKER_03: He goes, Yeah, I'm in mountain.
2:01
SPEAKER_03: Arizona's the weird state, though.
2:02
SPEAKER_03: They don't have the daylight savings time.
2:05
SPEAKER_00: I want that.
2:06
SPEAKER_00: Kill daylight savings time.
2:07
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm done with it.
2:10
SPEAKER_03: I'm done with it.
2:10
SPEAKER_03: All right, so let's go.
2:13
SPEAKER_03: We don't do any show prep.
2:14
SPEAKER_03: Uh the only thing, you know, we nobody talk pinball.
2:17
SPEAKER_03: And so I have to ask the obligatory, how long have you been into this ridiculous hobby?
2:24
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I we officially started at least, you know, doing the channel about one year ago, and we started actually playing about two years ago.
2:34
SPEAKER_01: Cameron, he goes way back.
2:36
SPEAKER_01: But officially, when I started, it all started when we were in Vegas for a one-year anniversary, a little trip to get away.
2:42
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's not too far from where we're at now.
2:44
SPEAKER_01: And we were bored on the Vegas strip, you know, running out of stuff to do in the middle of the day.
2:49
SPEAKER_01: And so we hopped on over to the Pinball Hall of Fame, and that's where we got bit.
2:55
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, I had not really played pinball since I was a kid.
2:58
SPEAKER_02: I had very vivid memories of playing with my dad at this one little KOA at a family reunion playing uh Cyclone, actually, was the game.
3:09
SPEAKER_02: And it was we just had such a great time.
3:12
SPEAKER_02: It the call-outs or something that we would quote to each other all the time, and had never really thought about pinball as an adult.
3:19
SPEAKER_02: Thought they had stopped making them because you didn't see them anymore, right?
3:23
SPEAKER_02: The standard story.
3:24
SPEAKER_02: And then I remember we went in there and like they had a Stranger Things machine, and it had this projector, and I was like, oh my gosh, pinball's kind of cool.
3:32
SPEAKER_02: Um, they're doing way crazy stuff now.
3:35
SPEAKER_02: So we started going on like just dates because we found that there were some pinball places to play nearby, and we tried all the different ones that were nearby, and then we eventually saw a flyer that said, Hey, do you want to rent a pinball machine?
3:49
SPEAKER_02: You can do it.
3:50
SPEAKER_02: Like, look up this website, and then um Jan was nice enough to do it for my birthday, which is in October.
3:57
SPEAKER_01: We got a Jurassic Park, yeah, by Stern.
4:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and great first machine, right?
4:03
SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
4:03
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
4:04
SPEAKER_01: Still one of my favorites.
4:05
SPEAKER_01: I want a Jurassic Park in our house someday.
4:07
SPEAKER_02: I thought that we had it for two months.
4:09
unknown: Oh, yeah.
4:10
SPEAKER_02: It's it's so good.
4:12
SPEAKER_02: We had it for two months, and I think I probably put eight to nine hundred games on it in those two months.
4:17
SPEAKER_01: We went a little crazy, yeah, yeah.
4:19
SPEAKER_03: By comparison, how many do you think were played on the show games um Beetlejuice at TPS?
4:27
SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
4:28
SPEAKER_02: I mean, there was never somebody not on those things.
4:31
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so how I know exactly how many were played that was I'm gonna guess over the weekend 1,500.
4:38
SPEAKER_03: You know what?
4:39
SPEAKER_03: Only like four fifty.
4:41
SPEAKER_01: Really?
4:43
SPEAKER_03: Not that bad.
4:44
SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, so you blew those out of the water.
4:48
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, constant lines, and yeah, and they only got like 500 plays.
4:53
SPEAKER_03: 500 plays, and you blew by that, and yeah.
4:57
SPEAKER_03: So you thought it took me two months, you got your rental worth.
5:01
SPEAKER_02: That's oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah.
5:03
SPEAKER_02: So we, you know, we we let it go, and it was the holidays, and and I was like, man, I and I I was I the bug had me so hard, Jamie.
5:13
SPEAKER_02: And so I started looking up all the different like things and learning how to play machines, and I I kept like running into this issue where I I would go looking for a specific like type of tutorial.
5:26
SPEAKER_02: I I learned in a very specific way, and I kind of had a hard time finding what I was looking for.
5:30
SPEAKER_02: And around the same time, I got a nice little bonus from work um because I got a new patent that was accepted by the government, and so my my company gave me a little bonus, and it was just enough to cover a year's worth of rentals.
5:42
SPEAKER_02: Um, so that was my Christmas gift to myself.
5:45
SPEAKER_01: And I said, Go crazy, you got it.
5:48
SPEAKER_02: And then we were like, we could we could maybe, I don't know, could we make content for pinball?
5:55
SPEAKER_02: Is this something we could do?
5:56
SPEAKER_02: Well, no, no, no, no.
5:57
SPEAKER_01: This is how it started.
5:59
SPEAKER_04: He would always move.
6:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so he would always complain to me that he couldn't find the tutorials that he wanted.
6:07
SPEAKER_01: You know, he'd see people playing live and they would talk through it, but he's like, I need a slowed-down tutorial to show me how to play these games.
6:14
SPEAKER_01: And then he just wouldn't let it go.
6:16
SPEAKER_01: So I said, you know what, you're just gonna have to make it yourself.
6:18
SPEAKER_01: And I can't remember if I said that seriously or jokingly, but then he said, Okay, fine.
6:22
SPEAKER_01: And so then he like hopped on and learned how to edit video, and he's got all these ideas.
6:27
SPEAKER_02: I had never done any script writing.
6:29
SPEAKER_02: I had because our tutorials are scripted.
6:31
SPEAKER_02: I had never done anything like that before.
6:33
SPEAKER_02: I had never edited video ever.
6:34
SPEAKER_02: I had to teach myself.
6:36
SPEAKER_02: I was watching all these videos on how to do it, and then yeah, you went to YouTube university, man.
6:43
SPEAKER_03: You got your degree, and you're out there making it happen.
6:45
SPEAKER_03: And that's what all of us did, right?
6:47
SPEAKER_03: Like my origin story is I saw Jack Danger and I said, Oh, that's pretty cool.
6:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
6:54
SPEAKER_03: The streams are so fun.
6:56
SPEAKER_03: I have access to these machines.
6:58
SPEAKER_03: What if we did it in a way where we're just playing dollar games fooling around?
7:02
SPEAKER_03: And that was my first move.
7:05
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
7:06
SPEAKER_03: And then I got into podcasting and shorts and all the crap I'm doing now.
7:11
SPEAKER_03: It's good crap.
7:12
SPEAKER_03: I mean, you do a good job.
7:16
SPEAKER_03: I I pimped out my grandson on my latest video that I put out.
7:20
SPEAKER_03: Him playing on your Iron Maiden there.
7:22
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I just think I saw that one, yeah.
7:24
SPEAKER_03: He just the minute he comes to the house, guys, he pulls a chair over and he just yells ball.
7:30
SPEAKER_03: I just how old is he?
7:32
SPEAKER_03: He's two and a half.
7:33
SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's cute.
7:34
SPEAKER_00: I love that.
7:35
SPEAKER_02: We're excited for our little guy to get to where he can start to really want to play.
7:40
SPEAKER_03: Well, he can't hit a ramp, okay?
7:44
SPEAKER_03: He can block my view, and fired up when I don't hit the shots, but uh it's it's a load of fun.
7:51
SPEAKER_03: All right, so you go and you say, I'm gonna make these tutorials this way.
7:57
SPEAKER_03: So then how does Jane Ann get involved?
7:58
SPEAKER_03: How does that happen?
8:00
SPEAKER_01: Well, well, here's the thing.
8:03
SPEAKER_01: Cameron has the dream of building out the arcade in the basement.
8:06
SPEAKER_01: We've got an unfinished room that was supposed to be a bedroom for a child.
8:11
SPEAKER_01: We'll have to explain that to that child in the future.
8:14
SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, you don't have a room.
8:16
SPEAKER_01: We have, you know, a pinball zone.
8:19
SPEAKER_01: And I said, if we're gonna have a bunch of pinball machines in the house, I want to say in which ones come in because I want to like them too.
8:27
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and so that's kind of where the review started, is we started reviewing all of the rentals that came in through the house because that's kind of where we're going with the rentals, is we want to see, you know, what ones we like.
8:40
SPEAKER_01: Um, and so yeah, I said, no, I get a say.
8:43
SPEAKER_01: I get to put my two cents in.
8:44
SPEAKER_02: So and I was like, okay, well, that means you have to be involved in this whole thing.
8:48
SPEAKER_02: And so, and she has such a better sounding voice than me.
8:51
SPEAKER_02: And so I was like, okay, we're yeah, you're you're natural.
8:54
SPEAKER_03: It it's I love your videos that you did at TPF, and anyone hasn't seen it, uh, you know, go to their YouTube channel, it's Pinball Pursuit.
9:01
SPEAKER_03: And you're on uh Instagram as well, right?
9:03
SPEAKER_03: Yep, yep, we're on Instagram as well.
9:05
SPEAKER_03: Um, they're excellent.
9:06
SPEAKER_03: I thought the interviews were really great.
9:08
SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, we had a really good time doing it.
9:10
SPEAKER_02: It was just kind of this little idea of like quick fun.
9:12
SPEAKER_02: Let's just see if this is something people want to see.
9:15
SPEAKER_02: Like we can meet new people and just kind of ask a couple of quick questions.
9:19
SPEAKER_03: You guys were very funny.
9:20
SPEAKER_03: So we did uh okay, TPF, ladies and gentlemen, textbook.
9:24
SPEAKER_02: Oh so good.
9:25
SPEAKER_03: It was a blast.
9:26
SPEAKER_02: It was a blast.
9:27
SPEAKER_02: It was our first ever pinball convention.
9:29
SPEAKER_03: Oh wow, yeah.
9:30
SPEAKER_02: First time doing that.
9:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you're all in.
9:33
SPEAKER_03: You pushed your chip.
9:34
SPEAKER_03: I yeah, that's it's you're all fucked in, you're uh getting machines, you're making out your basement.
9:41
SPEAKER_03: This is this is what Stern and all the manufacturers are in love with.
9:45
SPEAKER_03: That's what they want, and they've got me hook, line, and sinker is yeah, we're toast.
9:49
SPEAKER_01: It's just midlife crisis.
9:51
SPEAKER_03: It's okay, it's a good crisis.
9:53
SPEAKER_03: I've in it as well.
9:55
SPEAKER_03: I just have friends that are collectors and have arcades that I don't need to do that.
9:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's literally uh an eight-minute walk to my from my house.
10:04
SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
10:04
SPEAKER_02: So nice.
10:05
SPEAKER_02: See, that'd be great.
10:06
SPEAKER_02: There's great places to play here around Salt Lake, and I've since joined a league.
10:11
SPEAKER_02: My brother actually has joined the league with me.
10:13
SPEAKER_02: He's he's really into the competitive scene, so we're doing that now.
10:16
SPEAKER_02: You're not too into that.
10:18
SPEAKER_01: Listen, I feel like I represent the casual players, I represent the pinball wives here, the people that love to dabble, love to play.
10:26
SPEAKER_01: I don't think you'll see me in tournament play, but play in a bell's event.
10:31
SPEAKER_03: I keep telling her that she should do that.
10:33
SPEAKER_02: And we actually have Bell's event with a question.
10:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
10:37
SPEAKER_02: For sure.
10:37
SPEAKER_02: The problem is we have like the person who just took second place in the women's nationals is here in Utah.
10:43
SPEAKER_02: Look, you're not taking home trophies.
10:45
SPEAKER_01: I know.
10:45
SPEAKER_01: I'm not looking to win in the beginning.
10:48
SPEAKER_03: Or is a community that is all inclusive that's gonna bring you in and say and and clap when you're done.
10:54
SPEAKER_03: I mean, who does that?
10:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so I'm telling you, they clap.
10:59
SPEAKER_01: That's so funny.
11:01
SPEAKER_01: I should try it.
11:01
SPEAKER_01: You should try it.
11:04
SPEAKER_03: And uh, there's my they're not a paid sponsor of the program, but you know, I love bells and chimes or any women's leagues where we can get more women to play pinball.
11:12
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm a big proponent of that.
11:15
SPEAKER_03: So good luck with that.
11:18
SPEAKER_03: We go to uh TPF, and it's Thursday night, and we really don't know what we're supposed to be doing.
11:24
SPEAKER_03: I'm with Rob and uh shout out to Lewis Marks and uh the the organizer, Paul.
11:31
SPEAKER_03: Yes, yes, they put up something for us, the content creators, if you will.
11:36
SPEAKER_03: I'll put it in air quote.
11:40
SPEAKER_03: It was really fun, wasn't it?
11:42
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it was so much fun.
11:43
SPEAKER_03: Media blast tournament.
11:45
SPEAKER_03: It was a two-strike tournament that Lewis Marks ran, and he's headed the DFW TDs of Dallas Fort Worth.
11:53
SPEAKER_03: And they ran this tournament for us, and it was really a blast, and it was a blast to meet each other because we see each other, but we don't really we don't mingle in and chat.
12:03
SPEAKER_02: Like it was our first time.
12:05
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
12:05
SPEAKER_02: I I went up because I got there before uh Jane Ann did.
12:09
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I was, I mean, I'll be honest, Jamie.
12:11
SPEAKER_02: I was a little nervous because I was like, I am such a poser.
12:14
SPEAKER_02: Like, we are we are fresh off the street here.
12:18
SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't know if I belong with these people.
12:21
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
12:23
SPEAKER_03: I've been doing it since 2019.
12:25
SPEAKER_02: So we all started.
12:26
SPEAKER_04: Oh wow.
12:27
SPEAKER_02: True.
12:28
SPEAKER_02: And so I get up there and and and Ralph, who was standing next to you, like like pulls me over to you guys, and I was like, I love what you guys are doing, and and you should just hang out with us and keep, you know.
12:38
SPEAKER_02: And you guys were really welcoming, and then you came with our little baby later after we had kind of started, and yeah, and those machines, man, that we gotta play on.
12:46
SPEAKER_02: That Simpsons pinball party was gorgeous.
12:49
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I blew that up.
12:51
SPEAKER_03: Yes, you did.
12:52
SPEAKER_02: Yes, you did.
12:53
SPEAKER_02: I blew that up in my game.
12:55
SPEAKER_02: Was that against you?
12:56
SPEAKER_02: No, I didn't play against you on the on that one.
12:59
SPEAKER_02: I played against um oh gosh, who was I playing against on that one?
13:04
SPEAKER_02: I forget who it was.
13:06
SPEAKER_02: We work for everyone.
13:08
SPEAKER_02: The game that I blew up was Foo Fighters.
13:09
SPEAKER_02: I had a great Foo Fighters game and won on that one.
13:13
SPEAKER_01: But you'd better, you wrote a tutorial.
13:15
SPEAKER_01: Oh no, I'm not that'd be embarrassing, Cameron.
13:17
SPEAKER_03: No, it you know, it happens in tournament play.
13:20
SPEAKER_03: You never know.
13:21
SPEAKER_03: I never play Iron Maiden.
13:23
SPEAKER_03: I've I consistently put up 120, 150, 200 million, and I I'll go on location and put up 12.
13:31
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've done the same thing.
13:33
SPEAKER_02: Like the worst was I think when I had just published my Stranger Things tutorial and I went to League Night like the next day.
13:40
SPEAKER_02: And of course you're getting stranger things.
13:43
SPEAKER_02: I got I got like three million points total on three balls.
13:45
SPEAKER_02: It was the worst.
13:46
SPEAKER_02: I was like, I couldn't, I couldn't even hit the stupid skill shot of like, oh my gosh, this is that happens.
13:51
SPEAKER_04: Don't take it off.
13:52
SPEAKER_03: But yeah, well on the tournament, we had a lot of fun.
13:55
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
13:56
SPEAKER_03: Thank you to uh to Paul and to Lewis for running.
14:00
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it was so nice of them.
14:01
SPEAKER_02: I'm hoping we get more time to have like a three-strike or a four-strike next time.
14:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and and I think it was Nitro Pinball let us use their machines, and then I was coming up and playing because I saw that these were like the only machines that were on.
14:14
SPEAKER_03: But uh, I I proudly represented Houston.
14:18
SPEAKER_03: I finished third.
14:20
SPEAKER_03: Let me tell you that there is a caveat to this, okay.
14:24
SPEAKER_03: You were gracious.
14:25
SPEAKER_03: I went into the final round and I had no strikes, Jane.
14:27
SPEAKER_03: Yep.
14:28
SPEAKER_01: Oh, and you came in third?
14:31
SPEAKER_03: Here's what happened.
14:34
SPEAKER_03: I got hangry.
14:35
SPEAKER_03: Oh I I was running out of Zins, and I said, Okay, here's the deal, guys.
14:43
SPEAKER_03: Whatever game we get, whatever place we finish, let's just do it like that.
14:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
14:50
SPEAKER_01: There we go.
14:50
SPEAKER_03: And I sucked, and then they're like, deal.
14:55
SPEAKER_01: They were like, and it was on Iron Maiden, wasn't it?
14:58
SPEAKER_03: Wasn't it on Ironman?
14:58
SPEAKER_03: I don't know what it was on.
15:00
SPEAKER_03: I think it was on it was supposed to be on Harley Davidson, and we're like, but it we're not doing it.
15:05
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you guys, yeah.
15:06
SPEAKER_02: That was the one I didn't play.
15:07
SPEAKER_02: Was it that was it that one or was Lost World?
15:09
SPEAKER_02: No, Lost World was the one that you beat me on.
15:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think it was Lost World that we said, let's just do it on Lost World, and I couldn't get anything going.
15:16
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I had never flipped Lost World ever.
15:18
SPEAKER_02: And going into the third ball, it yeah, it was not good.
15:23
SPEAKER_02: And I got the multi-ball and I was like, I'm good, I'm clear, I'm in second place right now, and then you stood up ball four and just blew it up because I was like, he could take one strike.
15:33
SPEAKER_02: No, didn't want to take a strike.
15:34
SPEAKER_02: I don't want to take it and so I got knocked out.
15:36
SPEAKER_02: I got sixth place.
15:37
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, listen, there's something called ball three magic, it's real, real.
15:42
SPEAKER_03: 100% it's real.
15:44
SPEAKER_03: What was your what let's let's you know, we're here two it was about three weeks since TPF, but what was your favorite game to play?
15:52
SPEAKER_01: I really like Pokemon.
15:54
SPEAKER_01: I really like Pokemon false.
15:56
SPEAKER_01: I really did, I did really like Pokemon, but I liked Winchester Mystery House the best, which breaks my heart.
16:03
SPEAKER_02: We want I would I would buy one.
16:05
SPEAKER_02: I would buy one, yeah, but not for what they're going for now.
16:08
SPEAKER_01: It's crazy.
16:09
SPEAKER_02: They're it's insane.
16:10
SPEAKER_01: That and barrels machines are so pretty.
16:14
SPEAKER_01: Oh, they're they are gorgeous.
16:15
SPEAKER_01: I've never seen one in person before, never played.
16:17
SPEAKER_01: We played Dune, we played Labyrinth, we played Winchester.
16:21
SPEAKER_01: Gorgeous, beautiful machines.
16:29
SPEAKER_03: You you you have the all the inside info.
16:31
SPEAKER_03: Well, they don't give me anything.
16:34
SPEAKER_04: Dang it.
16:35
SPEAKER_03: They do let me play with their toys sometimes.
16:37
SPEAKER_04: Oh, that would be amazing.
16:39
SPEAKER_03: Let me play with their toys when other people don't get to play them and they exist.
16:43
SPEAKER_03: So that's kind of fun.
16:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
16:45
SPEAKER_02: See, and so for me, it was it was probably Winchester, it was probably my favorite as well.
16:50
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was really impressed with Yukon Yeti.
16:52
SPEAKER_02: I thought it shot so fun.
16:54
SPEAKER_02: I played with you, I played with Ralph, right?
16:56
SPEAKER_02: The three of us were playing a couple of games.
16:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, you beat us every time.
17:00
SPEAKER_02: I almost got you when I got the Avalanche multi ball, but yeah, I was really impressed with how well that shot.
17:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's it's a neat machine.
17:08
SPEAKER_03: Um I I think his biggest problem now is gonna be, ladies and gentlemen, how does he make four enough of them?
17:17
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, how does he scale up?
17:18
SPEAKER_02: Because he he's only ever made, I mean, they made like what 100 inch eclipses and like 200 Merlins, and I was gonna try and like almost triple that.
17:27
SPEAKER_01: Oh wow, that many.
17:28
SPEAKER_03: I don't think he made that many Merlins.
17:30
SPEAKER_03: You don't think he did?
17:31
SPEAKER_03: No, I think it's 100 and 100, and now he's in the big time.
17:36
SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
17:36
SPEAKER_03: I mean, because I think have they sold out already or are they close to selling out?
17:40
SPEAKER_03: I think they're pretty darn close.
17:41
SPEAKER_03: But you know, I did hear today if you ordered one today, you're getting it in 2027.
17:47
SPEAKER_03: Oh no.
17:49
SPEAKER_01: Well, that really makes me so happy for them because we talked to Chris for a little bit, and he's just such a great guy, you know, just excited about bringing up the new generation of pinball.
18:00
SPEAKER_01: He talked about his son and his kids and things, and it's just he's got a cool story, and he seems like a great guy.
18:05
SPEAKER_03: So kudos to him.
18:07
SPEAKER_03: He's too nice.
18:09
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he is.
18:10
SPEAKER_01: He's so nice.
18:12
SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, sometimes I wonder about the really nice really nice guys.
18:18
SPEAKER_03: Really nice.
18:19
SPEAKER_03: I my dark side, my New Yorker and me is like that guy.
18:24
SPEAKER_02: What's he got in his basement?
18:25
SPEAKER_03: Well, what's he got in his basement, right?
18:28
SPEAKER_03: No, they don't have basements in Texas, but uh he's lovely.
18:34
SPEAKER_03: I'm just having a go.
18:35
SPEAKER_03: I'm just having fun.
18:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
18:36
SPEAKER_02: No, I we we were so impressed by by them.
18:40
SPEAKER_02: And I'm hoping I'm hoping that these do well enough that they'll do like a non-legendary run and make more.
18:46
SPEAKER_02: Um, because you know, one thing, one thing I am really passionate about is we need to stop limiting the number of machines that companies make.
18:56
SPEAKER_02: Like, don't put a don't put a cap on it.
18:58
SPEAKER_02: Just make as many as people want.
19:01
SPEAKER_03: You like the Jersey Jack, and we're just gonna make them into just make them make as many as people want.
19:05
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
19:06
SPEAKER_02: Like, if people want to buy it, let them buy it.
19:08
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
19:08
SPEAKER_02: I I I sometimes the the whole like we're gonna limit it to just this number, and I'm like, but why?
19:16
SPEAKER_03: Limit it to a time frame and say, Yeah, exactly.
19:19
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
19:19
SPEAKER_03: Limit it to a time frame.
19:20
SPEAKER_03: Don't limit it to a number.
19:21
SPEAKER_03: But do you think that stops the FOMO because FOMO is so real?
19:24
SPEAKER_02: I mean, maybe a little bit, but I still think they would sell more.
19:29
SPEAKER_02: Like if they if if they came out with Winchester the same way they came out with it, and they said we're gonna take orders for the rest of this year, do you really think they would have sold less than 525 that they sold?
19:40
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
19:41
SPEAKER_03: I'm not an absolute marketing genius, but I could say that the FOMO of only 525 was a real number.
19:48
SPEAKER_03: It was real.
19:49
SPEAKER_02: It's true.
19:50
SPEAKER_03: I I mean saying this is Carl's first game, yada yada.
19:54
SPEAKER_02: I still think they would have sold, I think they could have sold three times that if they had just said we're gonna take orders until the end of 2025.
20:00
SPEAKER_02: You've got three months, and we'll make as many as you guys order.
20:03
SPEAKER_02: That still gives you the FOMO, right?
20:05
SPEAKER_02: Because it gives you you got three months to order it.
20:09
SPEAKER_02: Well, David, you're listening.
20:11
SPEAKER_03: Uh what do you think, man?
20:15
SPEAKER_03: Chime in the next one through a time frame?
20:17
SPEAKER_03: Let's let's let's see, right?
20:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
20:21
SPEAKER_02: And and maybe you're right, maybe they wouldn't sell as many, but I think I I think uh spooky could do it too.
20:25
SPEAKER_02: I think if spooky ends up doing Goonies, they could say, hey, we're gonna start taking orders, you know, November 1.
20:32
SPEAKER_02: You've got till uh you know December 31st.
20:35
SPEAKER_02: So you got two months, and we'll take as many orders as you want.
20:38
SPEAKER_02: I still think they I think they would sell 2,000.
20:41
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
20:42
SPEAKER_02: Right?
20:43
SPEAKER_02: Without and people who want them can get them.
20:45
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
20:47
SPEAKER_00: Crazy.
20:47
SPEAKER_03: Uh okay, you're on to something, Cameron.
20:50
SPEAKER_03: You're on Dr.
20:52
SPEAKER_03: C, maybe let's see what the what people think.
20:56
SPEAKER_03: Uh that's curious.
20:58
SPEAKER_03: You know, put your uh your comment.
21:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, let us know.
21:01
SPEAKER_02: Am I am I totally off base?
21:02
SPEAKER_02: But I think I think they're leaving money on the table.
21:05
SPEAKER_02: And I think you can still get that FOMO.
21:06
SPEAKER_03: Just do it a little differently.
21:08
SPEAKER_03: You know, did you guys get to go?
21:10
SPEAKER_03: I I don't want to sound like a bragger, but I was dragged into the quiet room.
21:15
SPEAKER_03: We did not get into the quiet room.
21:17
SPEAKER_02: I didn't know it existed.
21:19
SPEAKER_01: We thought about it.
21:20
SPEAKER_01: I was well, we'd talked about it.
21:21
SPEAKER_01: That was the upstairs.
21:23
SPEAKER_02: No, this is a different thing.
21:24
SPEAKER_01: I don't know what it was.
21:25
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're you're thinking about the VIP room that him and him and Ralph went and found that ended up being a table and a pitcher of water.
21:31
SPEAKER_01: I told Cameron that there'd better be Diet Coke up there, and he said that there wasn't, so I said, I'm out.
21:36
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you don't need it.
21:40
SPEAKER_03: It's a pitcher of water.
21:41
SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah, the the good thing about being in that room was one, you get to see the light show and it's like how it's meant to be, especially Dune.
21:52
SPEAKER_03: Because Dune's an interesting story, right?
21:55
SPEAKER_03: It's an it's a case study.
21:56
SPEAKER_03: If there was a pinball marketing class, you could do a uh 100%.
22:02
SPEAKER_03: What happened with Dune, the mistakes they learned, the miss the mistakes that were made.
22:06
SPEAKER_03: But uh what a great machine, too.
22:08
SPEAKER_03: So we I went in lunch and played a heck of a lot of Dune and then played a lot of Winchester.
22:12
SPEAKER_03: And the call outs at Winchester again, Jeff Dowd.
22:15
SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
22:16
SPEAKER_03: Jeff did so good.
22:17
SPEAKER_03: We interviewed Jeff.
22:18
SPEAKER_02: Um, and yeah, he he's done such a good job.
22:22
SPEAKER_02: I'm hoping to see more of him in the industry because I'm I'm just so impressed with what he's doing.
22:27
SPEAKER_03: But he was new too a couple of years ago.
22:29
SPEAKER_03: Think about that guy.
22:30
SPEAKER_03: Okay, and true story.
22:32
SPEAKER_02: And all of a sudden, yeah, but he has he has like usable skills in this industry.
22:36
SPEAKER_02: Like I I play with cells.
22:38
SPEAKER_02: I don't I'm not usable in this industry.
22:41
SPEAKER_02: There's nothing I'm doing.
22:42
SPEAKER_03: No, I I just have a mouth and I want to this works for Jamie.
22:49
SPEAKER_03: Right?
22:50
SPEAKER_03: That's not my move.
22:52
SPEAKER_03: So all right.
22:53
SPEAKER_03: Well, that's that's TPF.
22:55
SPEAKER_03: I did have a great time.
22:56
SPEAKER_03: It really wasn't fun.
22:57
SPEAKER_03: Are you gonna go to Expo?
22:58
SPEAKER_03: That's the question.
23:00
SPEAKER_01: That's the good question.
23:01
SPEAKER_01: That's the good question.
23:03
SPEAKER_02: We we are trying to figure it out.
23:05
SPEAKER_02: The easy part about Texas Pinball Festival is that her sister lives in Dallas.
23:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
23:10
SPEAKER_02: And so we could drop the baby off during the day because he came with us to the to the event in the evening, and then when we got the early bird, when it was just us in the morning, in the morning, we could go.
23:19
SPEAKER_02: But once everyone was in there, it was way too loud for him.
23:22
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right.
23:23
SPEAKER_02: And so we dropped him off with you know Auntie, and he did great.
23:27
SPEAKER_02: We don't have that connection um in Chicago, so it's it's a little harder.
23:33
SPEAKER_02: We're trying to figure out how we can make it work.
23:35
SPEAKER_01: We'd love to go though.
23:37
SPEAKER_02: It's a different show, Janine.
23:38
SPEAKER_03: It's like it's very industry heavy.
23:42
SPEAKER_03: So, you know, you've got all the major manufacturers there, right?
23:46
SPEAKER_03: So they have such a huge presence, and then the homebrew sector is even bigger, which is crazy.
23:53
SPEAKER_02: Homebrew section is so cool, though.
23:55
SPEAKER_03: So I saw you interviewed.
23:57
SPEAKER_03: Let's talk about the homebrew.
23:58
SPEAKER_03: You interviewed uh the guy from League High.
24:01
SPEAKER_01: Ernie, yeah.
24:04
SPEAKER_02: He was so nice to talk to us.
24:06
SPEAKER_02: Which game was his?
24:08
SPEAKER_01: Monsters Inc.
24:09
SPEAKER_01: It was the and I'd seen it online before.
24:12
SPEAKER_01: I think you showed me, and I was like, there is no way somebody created that.
24:15
SPEAKER_01: So I said, when we go, we have to find that machine.
24:19
SPEAKER_01: And so we found it and we started playing, and then we were like just talking to him, no big deal.
24:23
SPEAKER_01: And he's like, No, actually, I made this, and we were like, Oh, and then he hopped in and played with us.
24:28
SPEAKER_01: So that was so fun.
24:29
SPEAKER_01: So fun.
24:29
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the the what we've seen in the last four five years in the homebrew has been just outstanding.
24:36
SPEAKER_03: I mean, like Max Fury Road is one.
24:39
SPEAKER_03: I didn't see that one wasn't there.
24:40
SPEAKER_03: That would be made tomorrow.
24:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, it was so like I really enjoyed obviously the Monsters Inc.
24:47
SPEAKER_02: one was amazing.
24:48
SPEAKER_02: Um, the Big Trouble Little China was a great game.
24:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, I thought that the the elf one was really I had not seen them before.
24:57
SPEAKER_02: You told me that elf, yeah.
24:58
SPEAKER_02: You didn't get to play.
24:59
SPEAKER_02: I was sad I didn't get to play.
25:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, that one was really clever, really well done.
25:03
SPEAKER_02: I just they're so talented.
25:05
SPEAKER_02: Did you play Monster League hockey?
25:07
SPEAKER_03: The one against each other?
25:09
SPEAKER_01: Yes, we did, and I want one.
25:12
SPEAKER_03: You know they're big, they're putting that into production.
25:13
SPEAKER_03: Do you know that?
25:14
SPEAKER_03: They're gonna, yeah.
25:15
SPEAKER_03: So the announcer for the JBS show, Glenn Wector, is on the what we call the Saw team.
25:21
SPEAKER_03: They designed a machine called Saw.
25:24
SPEAKER_03: Okay, based on the the horror movie.
25:26
SPEAKER_03: Horror movies too scary for me, but nope, me too.
25:31
SPEAKER_03: But uh they made Monster League hockey and they're part there with Brad Albright.
25:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean Brad, oh Brad was so nice to us too.
25:41
SPEAKER_02: We we love meeting Brad.
25:42
SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm actually gonna be ordering some of his art for our basement here soon.
25:45
SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, Monster League hockey was amazing.
25:48
SPEAKER_02: We actually got we talked to uh Danzig.
25:52
SPEAKER_02: What was his what was his first name?
25:53
SPEAKER_02: Jeff Danzig or was it Paul Danzig?
25:55
SPEAKER_02: I'm blinking Matt Danzig.
25:58
SPEAKER_02: It's Danzig is his Mr.
26:00
SPEAKER_02: Danzig.
26:00
SPEAKER_02: We talked to Mr.
26:01
SPEAKER_02: Danzig.
26:02
SPEAKER_02: Hey, it's Jay.
26:04
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
26:04
SPEAKER_02: Um and on it, actually.
26:06
SPEAKER_02: We were we were so excited about it.
26:09
SPEAKER_02: And he was like, Well, I've got a I've got a little I've got a little list if you want me to push you on and I can let you know when it comes available.
26:15
SPEAKER_02: Like, yes, put us on the list.
26:18
SPEAKER_02: So we're we're because it was so much fun.
26:21
SPEAKER_01: It's so fun because in the arcade, we I'd said, we need something other than pinball.
26:25
SPEAKER_01: A, I want skee ball, and B, I was thinking about air hockey, and then we were like, no, it's gonna take up too much space.
26:32
SPEAKER_01: I don't know if it fits the vibe.
26:33
SPEAKER_01: And then we played Monster League hockey, and it was the best combination of air hockey and pinball.
26:39
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, we need it.
26:40
SPEAKER_01: It's so fun with the two balls going on, it's just got so many cool things.
26:45
SPEAKER_01: We're stoked.
26:46
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, well, I'm so happy for them, right?
26:49
SPEAKER_03: I mean, yeah, 100% goal is not to sell it, their goal is just to make something really wicked cool, and then it's everyone wants it, does want to buy it.
26:59
SPEAKER_03: So good luck to ramps.
27:01
SPEAKER_03: I hope they make it uh as well as the guys that saw it, and uh that should be great.
27:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I you know, I think it's such a smart idea for I mean, really for the industry to really prop up the homebrewers, right?
27:14
SPEAKER_02: Because you've seen so many people that have left the homebrew and are now like working at these companies, such a good resume, essentially.
27:21
SPEAKER_02: Um, and you get a lot of creativity.
27:23
SPEAKER_02: I can't wait to play um Nick's Tony Hawk in a couple of years from uh American Pinball.
27:29
SPEAKER_02: You know, I think they're gonna design it.
27:31
SPEAKER_02: I I mean that's why wouldn't they?
27:35
SPEAKER_02: Like the only thing I can see them not getting is the licensing for all the music would be too hard.
27:40
SPEAKER_03: Licensing is a real PETA.
27:42
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it is for these people, and what I've started to learn as an industry, whatever I am, they that's their biggest problem.
27:52
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, is is you know the idea, like who'd who would want a Mario game?
27:57
SPEAKER_03: Mario would be brilliant.
27:59
SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, oh yeah, but that's a million bucks.
28:02
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, 100%.
28:03
SPEAKER_02: And you've got to sell so many machines to get to that, and they're not selling that many machines, yeah.
28:08
SPEAKER_03: So you you know, you you gotta have an ROI.
28:10
SPEAKER_03: So, but yeah, I I've gotten to know Nick a little well, and I love Robin from Electric Playground.
28:16
SPEAKER_03: Did you get to meet them?
28:17
SPEAKER_02: I met Rob briefly, and then uh him and I have been talking via email a little bit.
28:22
SPEAKER_02: Um recently.
28:25
SPEAKER_03: He's the best.
28:26
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, so nice.
28:27
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm so excited.
28:30
SPEAKER_02: I'm so excited for American.
28:31
SPEAKER_02: I think they like they've got such a great team behind them now.
28:35
SPEAKER_02: Um, I I'm really excited to see what they're gonna do.
28:39
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I went to a meet and greet with Brian Vincent and some of the execs over at American Pinball this week.
28:47
SPEAKER_03: Oh, really?
28:47
SPEAKER_03: Okay, cool.
28:48
SPEAKER_03: Nice and then I got an invite, right, with a bunch of other people from Houston, and I got to talking to them, and they have their stuff together.
28:57
SPEAKER_03: They really it really seems like he does.
29:00
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and he's a businessman, he's gonna do the right thing, and he's gonna make good pinball.
29:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think uh fanatics.
29:07
SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
29:07
SPEAKER_02: You hire the right people and you just put someone in charge that has the passion for it, but also the business acumen, and I don't see how you can go wrong.
29:14
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, uh we'll see what the appetite is for remade Bally Williams games, right?
29:20
SPEAKER_03: Okay, right.
29:21
SPEAKER_03: Circus Voltaire is the first one they announced.
29:24
SPEAKER_03: Uh, I heard they're doing two others.
29:28
SPEAKER_02: I don't know why someone isn't doing World Cup Soccer with the World Cup being this year.
29:33
SPEAKER_02: Like it would be the perfect machine to do that.
29:34
SPEAKER_01: That's genius.
29:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
29:36
SPEAKER_03: The rumor is that they have World Cup Soccer and Okay.
29:41
SPEAKER_03: They're putting circus out first.
29:43
SPEAKER_02: Gotcha.
29:44
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
29:45
SPEAKER_02: Like I said, if it were me, I'd be putting out, capitalized on the fact that there is World Cup.
29:49
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I love World Cup Soccer.
29:51
SPEAKER_03: It's my favorite game, it's the only game I own, and uh it's the only one I want.
29:55
SPEAKER_03: It's so I I love it.
29:57
SPEAKER_03: We need to get you played it.
29:58
SPEAKER_01: You know, I was gonna say, where do we find one?
30:00
SPEAKER_01: Because I've heard so many good things about it.
30:01
SPEAKER_01: Do they have one here?
30:02
SPEAKER_02: Pinball maps.
30:04
SPEAKER_01: Pinball maps.
30:04
SPEAKER_02: Oh no, no, they have one where I went yesterday with my brother.
30:07
SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
30:07
SPEAKER_01: We need to go back.
30:08
SPEAKER_01: We'll find a babysitter, it's fine.
30:10
SPEAKER_03: And hit that scoop and start that World Cup.
30:13
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's so good.
30:14
SPEAKER_03: Blast get it past that goalie.
30:16
SPEAKER_03: You gotta get it past the goalie.
30:17
SPEAKER_03: But I think what's so good is for a newbie, you could just go, all right, here's the deal.
30:24
SPEAKER_03: Get it past the goalie and hit some ramps, and let's see where you go.
30:29
SPEAKER_03: Yep, 100%.
30:30
SPEAKER_03: It's not that complicated.
30:31
SPEAKER_03: You don't have the cities and all this stuff that we start learning later on.
30:36
SPEAKER_03: But right now, just score goals and hit ramps, and it's some really cool stuff going on.
30:40
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's a fun machine.
30:41
SPEAKER_01: Let's get one.
30:41
SPEAKER_01: I want to play.
30:43
SPEAKER_01: Let's rent it.
30:44
SPEAKER_01: Kelly.
30:44
SPEAKER_03: Uh, I don't know if he has it.
30:45
SPEAKER_03: Maybe he will because he's only got new stuff.
30:48
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
30:48
SPEAKER_03: All right.
30:49
SPEAKER_03: All right.
30:50
SPEAKER_03: So, what do you want to talk about next?
30:51
SPEAKER_03: You want to go through the manufacturers?
30:53
SPEAKER_03: What what what it's your interview too?
30:56
SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's true.
30:56
SPEAKER_02: Um, let's see here.
30:58
SPEAKER_02: I I want to know, like, from your perspective, because one of the one of the questions, like, I when I got into this was like, what are the holes in the content creation side that aren't being filled yet?
31:10
SPEAKER_02: Like, where do we think there is a blue ocean in terms of like creating content or or reaching people that maybe don't or who were like us who didn't know pinball existed or that it was still going?
31:22
SPEAKER_02: Like, what do you think we need to do like in the space that we're in to get to reach more people or to fill a niche that isn't being niche filled?
31:31
SPEAKER_03: Well, keep making content is number one, right?
31:33
SPEAKER_03: Just keep the content going.
31:34
SPEAKER_03: Don't worry about the views, the views will come.
31:36
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, keep making content.
31:37
SPEAKER_03: And and I can't figure out the views, right?
31:40
SPEAKER_03: Like, I'll go make something about my grandma, get 1500 views.
31:45
SPEAKER_03: I put AI Jamie up there and I get AI Jamie, I get 1500.
31:52
SPEAKER_03: So who the heck knows, right?
31:53
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, just keep it coming.
31:55
SPEAKER_03: Um, we need more women in pinball.
31:58
SPEAKER_00: Okay, there we go.
31:59
SPEAKER_03: We just nice uh added.
32:03
SPEAKER_03: We just do we need more diversity in pinball and just to show as many different crowds.
32:09
SPEAKER_03: When you go to a tournament, what's so cool about a tournament is the different faces that are there, like 100% in like we got sucked in.
32:18
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
32:18
SPEAKER_03: We just know, and when how do you know someone loves pinball?
32:23
SPEAKER_03: They open their mouth.
32:26
SPEAKER_03: You're not wrong.
32:27
SPEAKER_02: Uh, because it's funny because I started playing competitive a year ago, right?
32:31
SPEAKER_02: Just just you know, only a year ago, and my brother started coming with me.
32:35
SPEAKER_02: And I think when we were where we were going, it's a it's a bar up in Salt Lake that has a bunch of machines, there were like 20 people, and now they're getting like 44 to 45 people a week.
32:43
SPEAKER_02: And it's only been a year how much it's grown.
32:45
SPEAKER_01: It's grown so fast.
32:47
SPEAKER_02: And the league that we're now playing in, because we we joined a league last fall and they do a spring and a fall session, they had to start a waiting list because there's too many people that wanted to be in it, and we're like, Oh, I'm glad that we got it when we got it.
32:59
SPEAKER_03: That's good.
33:00
SPEAKER_03: But you know, that maybe they can expand and get more machines because you know, every machine is four more players, exactly at it.
33:08
SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, and they've they've expanded quite a bit.
33:10
SPEAKER_02: They're now they have machines in between the brewery tanks because it's a brewery, so it's like it's a little weird setup they have going on, but it's it works, it works.
33:18
SPEAKER_03: The the Eureka Heights is a brewery.
33:21
SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
33:34
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
33:36
SPEAKER_03: All new from a spooky row to stern row to that's so that's we don't have we there is no people here get all the sterns, right?
33:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, which is great.
33:47
SPEAKER_02: And then there's a couple, there's some family fun centers.
33:50
SPEAKER_02: You paid 250 and it's like to get in, and it's like 40 cents to play a game.
33:54
SPEAKER_01: You play with nickels, like like literal nickels.
33:57
SPEAKER_02: It's great, right?
33:58
SPEAKER_02: And they've got a bunch of old stuff and they get all the new sterns, but like there's nowhere to play barrels games, there's nowhere to play spooky games unless you get in the league that I'm in and you get to play at somebody's private collection.
34:09
SPEAKER_02: Right.
34:10
SPEAKER_02: You know, that's but that's like once a year.
34:13
SPEAKER_03: But you look at the Stern's market, right?
34:15
SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you knew this, but 70% of what they sell is the home buyer, 30% to operators.
34:21
SPEAKER_00: Oh, interesting.
34:22
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's crazy.
34:23
SPEAKER_03: It's probably 90% at barrels.
34:25
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, 100%.
34:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
34:27
SPEAKER_03: It's probably 85 to 90% at spooky.
34:31
SPEAKER_03: Yep.
34:31
SPEAKER_03: And JP's probably 85.
34:35
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they do have a couple of JJPs here, but that's you know they've got a Harry Potter, and that makes me very happy.
34:43
SPEAKER_02: So good.
34:44
SPEAKER_03: Um fantastic, isn't it?
34:46
SPEAKER_01: And I mean, speaking of licensing, like, how did they win that one?
34:49
SPEAKER_02: Like, I think I'd have paid to the nose.
34:52
SPEAKER_03: Insane.
34:53
SPEAKER_03: It's the rumor.
34:54
SPEAKER_03: I think so.
34:55
SPEAKER_03: I heard four, four, four million dollars.
34:58
SPEAKER_03: That's the rumor.
35:00
SPEAKER_01: That's nuts.
35:01
SPEAKER_03: That's nuts.
35:02
SPEAKER_03: That's why they're gonna forever.
35:04
SPEAKER_03: Forever.
35:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
35:05
SPEAKER_01: But it's timeless.
35:06
SPEAKER_01: You can make it forever.
35:09
SPEAKER_03: What do you think about the new Harry Potter uh HBO series?
35:13
SPEAKER_03: Are you excited about it?
35:14
SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited.
35:15
SPEAKER_01: My sister sent me the trailer.
35:17
SPEAKER_01: I almost started crying.
35:18
SPEAKER_01: I'm very excited.
35:20
SPEAKER_03: More Harry Potter.
35:21
SPEAKER_01: Oh, always.
35:22
SPEAKER_01: And with them doing a season per book, they can really go deep into it.
35:26
SPEAKER_01: It's gonna follow the book a little bit better.
35:28
SPEAKER_01: They can do more with it because a movie you've only got so much time, but now they've got a whole season, they've got no limits.
35:34
SPEAKER_01: I'm stoked.
35:35
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's gonna be great.
35:36
SPEAKER_02: We're we're potter heads.
35:38
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it was I mean, I was gosh, in like junior high when the first book came out.
35:45
SPEAKER_02: And so it's like prime for me, right?
35:47
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
35:48
SPEAKER_02: I'm old.
35:51
SPEAKER_03: I read them with my kids.
35:53
SPEAKER_03: So that's perfect.
35:54
SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say Harry Potter knows no age, but see, there you go.
35:57
SPEAKER_01: Good memories.
35:58
SPEAKER_03: Midnight launches with my sons.
36:00
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
36:00
SPEAKER_01: Wasn't that so fun?
36:02
SPEAKER_01: I missed that.
36:02
SPEAKER_03: I missed the midnight launches.
36:04
SPEAKER_03: It was a black.
36:05
SPEAKER_03: It was great.
36:05
SPEAKER_03: But what do you the game itself is is really brilliant.
36:09
SPEAKER_01: I got oh, it's so fun.
36:10
SPEAKER_03: Hangout.
36:11
SPEAKER_03: This is bragging again, but I got to hang out with Eric Minier and his Oh, he's such a nice guy, it seems like.
36:18
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, he's lovely, right?
36:20
SPEAKER_02: We wanted to meet him, and I and I was again, I felt like such an imposter at TPF, and so I was a little like I gotta get over it, I gotta get over it.
36:29
SPEAKER_03: Right?
36:30
SPEAKER_03: I do it too because like every 20 feet someone's stopping Ralph, right?
36:34
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because he's and I'm walking with him the whole damn time.
36:40
SPEAKER_03: Like every like third or fourth person knew who I was, and they're like, Oh, I like you too, Jamie.
36:46
SPEAKER_03: I was like, all right.
36:47
SPEAKER_01: Oh, thanks.
36:48
SPEAKER_01: Thanks.
36:48
SPEAKER_01: You're cool too.
36:49
SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm I'm all right.
36:51
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, the the game is much faster when you first it's so fast.
36:57
SPEAKER_02: There's that one shot that if it goes all the way around to your left flipper, yeah, and you're not ready for it, it's going straight down.
37:03
SPEAKER_02: Like you almost have to hold your flipper up because it's just never gonna be able to get it fast enough.
37:07
SPEAKER_03: So I'll tell you the story.
37:08
SPEAKER_03: Ralph, he did the teaser trailer and and the full featurette.
37:12
SPEAKER_03: Excuse me.
37:13
SPEAKER_03: He did the featurette for JJP for Harry Potter.
37:16
SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
37:17
SPEAKER_03: And just did a brilliant job.
37:18
SPEAKER_02: Oh, he did a great job with it.
37:19
SPEAKER_03: And uh, props to you, Ralphie.
37:21
SPEAKER_03: And uh when he went to play it for the first time, it was like in an accountant's office.
37:30
SPEAKER_03: And Ralph walks up and it drains the same way, Cameron, you were just explaining it.
37:35
SPEAKER_03: And Eric and the other designer, uh, one of the I don't know if somebody else was in there, looked at each other and went, Yes, we got him.
37:43
SPEAKER_03: We got it so fast, and that's what they designed, and it's great.
37:48
SPEAKER_03: You know, the problem on location is it's got so many Macs, it's got so my gosh, it's so complicated.
37:54
SPEAKER_02: Yep.
37:54
SPEAKER_02: Well, we're we're having a serious debate.
37:57
SPEAKER_02: So we have a budget that we have put out there, which is one pinball machine a year.
38:04
SPEAKER_02: And so I've got this coupon sitting in my pocket for one pinball machine for this year, and I'm trying to figure out what the heck am I gonna spend this on.
38:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think you're getting a Harry Potter.
38:13
SPEAKER_02: Well, so here's the here's the thing.
38:14
SPEAKER_02: I've already we reviewed, so we got Batman 66, and oh my gosh, it's my it's it's my favorite game.
38:24
SPEAKER_03: It's my favorite game.
38:25
SPEAKER_03: If you want to talk Batman 66 for me, I'll talk it.
38:29
SPEAKER_02: It's my favorite game about Roshmore.
38:32
SPEAKER_02: It's it's 100%.
38:33
SPEAKER_02: It is so good.
38:35
SPEAKER_01: I had no idea I would like it so much.
38:36
SPEAKER_01: I was like, yeah, Batman, whatever.
38:38
SPEAKER_01: And then I played it and I was like, ooh, that crane and everything.
38:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love it.
38:43
SPEAKER_03: I go to Eureka Heights three to four times a week and I look at the Stern scoreboard, and I know if I just put in five dollars on Batman 66, you can get there.
38:57
SPEAKER_02: Yep, I had multiple billion point games on it.
39:00
SPEAKER_02: Um, it's so good.
39:01
SPEAKER_02: It's so good.
39:03
SPEAKER_02: Egghead all day, every day.
39:05
SPEAKER_02: That's what I said in my tutorial.
39:07
SPEAKER_02: I said that in my tutorial.
39:08
SPEAKER_02: You do the egghead frenzy mode.
39:10
SPEAKER_01: But the multi-ball shame is more fun.
39:12
SPEAKER_01: Shame is more fun.
39:13
SPEAKER_03: It's like 20 million, it's not worth anything.
39:15
SPEAKER_03: Exactly, it's not worth anything.
39:17
SPEAKER_03: Um all three eggheads.
39:21
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
39:22
SPEAKER_01: This is why I don't play tournaments, it's clear.
39:25
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you learned the bells will prepare you, and you'll go, you were right about eggheads.
39:32
SPEAKER_03: It's the best.
39:33
SPEAKER_03: Okay, go ahead, Cameron.
39:34
SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
39:35
SPEAKER_02: So no, no, I'll say that.
39:36
SPEAKER_02: So, and I don't know if you've heard this.
39:38
SPEAKER_02: I I've heard from one of one person that I know who I know that you know as well, that there's a chance that they might do a 60th anniversary um edition.
39:47
SPEAKER_02: I've heard this rumor as well.
39:50
SPEAKER_02: And I'm on a couple of lists, Jamie.
39:52
SPEAKER_02: Like if that happens, that's what's happening.
39:56
SPEAKER_03: What was that with a big LCD screen?
39:59
SPEAKER_03: Yep, on the Spike 3.
40:00
SPEAKER_03: On the Spike 3 platform, a Batman CC6 would be awesome.
40:06
SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm I'm paying for that within an hour of the announcement.
40:10
SPEAKER_02: That's what I want.
40:11
SPEAKER_02: Isn't that Franchi's art, right?
40:13
SPEAKER_02: It's Franchi.
40:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Franchi did the art on it.
40:15
SPEAKER_03: That's correct.
40:15
SPEAKER_03: Oh, but how do you get him to come and do the art again if they redo it?
40:20
SPEAKER_02: I don't know what they do.
40:22
SPEAKER_02: Maybe they keep his art for the backlash and doing something different on the outside.
40:26
SPEAKER_02: I don't know what you do.
40:27
SPEAKER_02: Maybe maybe he comes back to do it.
40:29
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
40:30
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
40:31
SPEAKER_02: Game ever.
40:32
SPEAKER_02: It's uh so that's again, so I'm I'm holding out for Batman 66.
40:39
SPEAKER_01: But if that doesn't happen, then we're in a picture.
40:42
SPEAKER_02: Then the debate is Okay, let's hear it, ladies and gentlemen.
40:46
SPEAKER_02: Harry Potter or Pokemon.
40:48
SPEAKER_03: Okay, two very different games.
40:50
SPEAKER_03: Very different games.
40:51
SPEAKER_01: And I've only played Pokemon like once or twice, and that was at TPF.
40:56
SPEAKER_02: And I just put a bunch of quarters in it last week or last night with my brother.
41:01
SPEAKER_01: But see, we're big on the whole rental thing because we realize that in arcades we love some games and we have them in our house, and our opinion changes.
41:09
SPEAKER_01: We haven't had Harry Potter or Pokemon in the house, so that's what scares me.
41:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Pokemon it is in its infant stages, okay?
41:19
SPEAKER_03: True.
41:19
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna get better.
41:20
SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
41:21
SPEAKER_03: It's not nearly there.
41:23
SPEAKER_03: There's one little mini mode, Charizard or whatever it is, when you complete all four of those modes.
41:29
SPEAKER_03: I play the hell out of it, guys.
41:31
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
41:31
SPEAKER_02: It's I I think it's really fun.
41:34
SPEAKER_02: I think it shoots well.
41:36
SPEAKER_02: The code's only gonna get better.
41:37
SPEAKER_02: Like Stern's gonna support the crap, like they're gonna support this thing till the key till Kingdom Come because it's gonna be their next bestseller after Godzilla.
41:45
SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, that's my prediction.
41:47
SPEAKER_03: I think you're right.
41:48
SPEAKER_03: I I'm I'm gonna argue with you there.
41:50
SPEAKER_03: The Pokedeck isn't even online.
41:52
SPEAKER_03: Once that's online, once you can track how many you've caught, the addiction is real.
41:58
SPEAKER_03: The addiction is real.
41:59
SPEAKER_02: And if you can like start training the ones you've caught, like leveling them up and then doing special things with them, like if they put that into it too.
42:07
SPEAKER_02: Oh boy, I'm in trouble.
42:08
SPEAKER_02: You're done.
42:09
SPEAKER_02: You're yeah, exactly.
42:10
SPEAKER_02: Everyone's in trouble.
42:10
SPEAKER_01: So are you saying that we should get Pokemon, Jamie, with our coupon?
42:14
SPEAKER_01: Is that what you're saying?
42:15
SPEAKER_03: With the coupon, you've got a serious problem because not only do you have Harry Potter, okay, which is great.
42:24
SPEAKER_03: You can get that with you can get the arcade version at home.
42:27
SPEAKER_03: I know it's not bad.
42:30
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
42:30
SPEAKER_03: There's no difference, no difference but art.
42:33
SPEAKER_03: That's a no-brainer.
42:34
SPEAKER_03: It's a no-brainer, but they're gonna do the same thing for Sonic, and I don't know if Sonic touches you guys like it touches me, but Sonic.
42:42
SPEAKER_02: Did you you were not a Sega family?
42:45
SPEAKER_01: No, no, we were Nintendo kids.
42:47
SPEAKER_02: See, I was a Nintendo kid too, and so I but I played Sonic, but I I was a Nintendo kid, so I was a Sega dude, and there you go.
42:59
SPEAKER_03: Was was NES, but once Sega and Mortal Kombat came out, that's when the Fraternity.
43:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, was we my neighbor had a Sega Genesis, and then I had a Super Nintendo, and so we would go and right, we would play each other's games.
43:17
SPEAKER_02: Street Fighter.
43:18
SPEAKER_02: I mean, Street Fighter, yeah.
43:20
SPEAKER_01: Talk about Street Fighter all the time.
43:23
SPEAKER_03: You had Street Fighter, we had Mortal Kombat.
43:26
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
43:26
SPEAKER_02: Right, and so it was uh it's so hard because I also love Steve Ritchie, like you know, I so we own a Cyclone, the game I was talking about earlier.
43:37
SPEAKER_02: We we bought it.
43:38
SPEAKER_02: Love Cyclone, and I'm like, what if we got a getaway?
43:42
SPEAKER_02: You know, like because getaway is such a great game.
43:46
SPEAKER_02: Um and I love Black Knight um when we've played on location.
43:52
SPEAKER_02: We haven't had it in the home yet, but Black Knight makes you a better player.
43:56
SPEAKER_02: It does one hundred percent.
43:58
SPEAKER_02: And so I yeah.
44:00
SPEAKER_02: I'm excited to see what he does with Sonic because I mean it's all about speed.
44:04
SPEAKER_02: Goonies.
44:05
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
44:06
SPEAKER_02: I got on the list for Goonies recently.
44:09
SPEAKER_01: We talked about it.
44:10
SPEAKER_01: If they come out with the Goonies, we may have to play it or buy it side unseen.
44:16
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because but that but they're not gonna release that.
44:19
SPEAKER_02: You're like if you buy it in December, they're not you're not gonna get so maybe that's our 2027 game.
44:23
SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm trying to help you with.
44:24
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, see, there we go.
44:25
SPEAKER_01: He's thinking ahead.
44:27
SPEAKER_03: You think like seven coupon?
44:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
44:32
SPEAKER_03: Then you've got Transformers G1.
44:35
SPEAKER_02: See, I was never a Transformers kid, I was a Beast Wars kid.
44:40
SPEAKER_02: Did you ever see the Beast Wars?
44:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
44:42
SPEAKER_02: The CG like that was prime for my brothers and I.
44:46
SPEAKER_03: And so no, I get it.
44:48
SPEAKER_03: I I wasn't a Transformers dude because I was older.
44:51
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
44:51
SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna buy Optimus Prime, but I watched a television show because it was pretty cool, and uh my brother's a little younger, so I I I watched it.
45:00
SPEAKER_03: And but I heard that's Elliot Eisman's next game, and it's supposed to be a banger.
45:05
SPEAKER_03: People are saying that have seen it.
45:08
SPEAKER_03: That it's a banger.
45:09
SPEAKER_02: That's a banger.
45:10
SPEAKER_02: I, you know, I think Eisman's first game is underrated.
45:15
SPEAKER_02: I really I actually kind of like John Wick.
45:18
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
45:18
SPEAKER_02: Um it's either Dana.
45:23
SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
45:24
SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
45:24
SPEAKER_01: I don't like John Wick as a franchise, and I don't like John Wick the game.
45:29
SPEAKER_01: It's not fun.
45:30
SPEAKER_01: It's a low scorer.
45:31
SPEAKER_03: It is a low score.
45:33
SPEAKER_03: It's a hard game.
45:35
SPEAKER_03: Right?
45:35
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's it's you know, I think that game is not a gateway for some No, it's not.
45:41
SPEAKER_03: Okay, it's like just like Black Knight Sort of Rage is not a gateway, not a gateway game.
45:45
SPEAKER_01: No, but I do like Black Knight, yeah.
45:47
SPEAKER_03: You do play, you do like Black Knight.
45:49
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean it's great, it's hard.
45:52
SPEAKER_01: It's hard, but it's fun.
45:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
45:54
SPEAKER_02: You uh I tried watching John Wick with Jane Ann, and we got through the first movie, and I was like, there's a second one.
46:00
SPEAKER_01: No, he never dies, it doesn't matter.
46:03
SPEAKER_01: I know that he will never die.
46:04
SPEAKER_01: It's a boy movie.
46:06
SPEAKER_03: It is a boy movie, it is, he's not gonna die.
46:10
SPEAKER_03: But they kill a dog, it's terrible.
46:12
SPEAKER_03: Spoiler for people if you haven't watched it.
46:14
SPEAKER_02: You're it's a little we're like 10 years late.
46:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you're a little late.
46:17
SPEAKER_00: You deserve to have that spoiled.
46:19
SPEAKER_03: You totally do.
46:20
SPEAKER_03: You want to hear something funny?
46:22
SPEAKER_03: Um, please.
46:23
SPEAKER_03: I got invited by Don Garrison and Sterling Martin and Moto and all these people invited me to the Scare Fest in Orlando for Halloween, and they're doing like Halloween, it's called VIP Scare Fest Sump Crap.
46:44
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
46:45
SPEAKER_03: I said to them, I said they're they're blowing me up on my IM.
46:50
SPEAKER_03: They're so excited about this in October.
46:52
SPEAKER_03: And I finally had to go to them and go, guys, I don't like scary movies.
46:56
SPEAKER_03: I'm scary.
46:57
SPEAKER_00: I don't like this.
46:58
SPEAKER_03: We I I barely play spooky machines.
47:03
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we are in the same appetite for this, and as I'm getting older, I have less appetite for as much violence.
47:11
SPEAKER_03: I'm like, ugh.
47:12
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I we're right there with you.
47:15
SPEAKER_03: We are not being 53.
47:20
SPEAKER_02: You're only a little bit older than I am, than we are.
47:22
SPEAKER_02: It's it's fine.
47:23
SPEAKER_02: I'm the same way, Jamie.
47:25
SPEAKER_02: I don't do horror, I don't do gratuitous violence.
47:28
SPEAKER_02: Like John Wick is like the most violent thing I've seen in a long time.
47:32
SPEAKER_02: Um it's just yeah, not we're not into that.
47:36
SPEAKER_02: We're also not into the spooky scary.
47:38
SPEAKER_02: Like for our like Halloween um last year or two years ago.
47:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, two years ago.
47:44
SPEAKER_02: We watched like Jaws Monster movies and Jurassic Park.
47:50
SPEAKER_03: That's not scary movies.
47:51
SPEAKER_02: No, but that's that's as bad as we get.
47:54
SPEAKER_02: I love Nightmare Before Christmas.
47:56
SPEAKER_02: That's about as bad as it gets.
47:57
SPEAKER_03: So No Punisher, or what is that guy?
48:00
SPEAKER_03: The crazy, scary terrifier.
48:03
SPEAKER_03: Have you seen this guy?
48:04
SPEAKER_03: No, is it the clown, the scary clown one?
48:06
SPEAKER_02: You don't want to see him.
48:07
SPEAKER_02: No, no, no.
48:08
SPEAKER_02: My brother is huge into horror.
48:10
SPEAKER_02: Like, he loves like those people.
48:14
SPEAKER_02: I don't I I love my brother, but it's not for me.
48:18
SPEAKER_01: And I can't have scary machines in the house.
48:20
SPEAKER_01: I will never have a walking dead in this house because it's gross and scary.
48:24
SPEAKER_01: I will never have an evil dead because it's the topper on there, can't handle it.
48:29
SPEAKER_01: Can't do it.
48:30
SPEAKER_03: Cool, Low.
48:31
SPEAKER_03: It's cool looking.
48:32
SPEAKER_03: It's cool.
48:33
SPEAKER_01: It's scary!
48:34
SPEAKER_03: You know what's funny?
48:35
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Eureka Heights, they uh they have that topper, evil dead topper, and uh one of the operator's kids decorate her for every every holiday.
48:47
SPEAKER_03: Every holiday.
48:48
SPEAKER_03: Um Valentine's Day, she's all dacked out and ran with hearts, yeah, dead eyes.
48:57
SPEAKER_03: I mean, they do everything.
48:59
SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's funny.
49:00
SPEAKER_03: I I don't know her name.
49:02
SPEAKER_03: I think Dory, Dora.
49:03
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
49:04
SPEAKER_03: Doesn't matter.
49:05
SPEAKER_03: I've never seen the movie.
49:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've never seen the movies.
49:07
SPEAKER_02: They're my brother's favorite films, so he was really excited when there was a machine, and I was like, Can't buy it.
49:12
SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
49:13
SPEAKER_01: I would not go in the basement.
49:16
SPEAKER_02: Well, and also, like, we're trying to be family friendly as a channel, right?
49:21
SPEAKER_02: I think that's one thing that that's sometimes I I wish there was more family friendly content out there, and so we're trying to be that as well.
49:28
SPEAKER_02: And so we're just not gonna cover TCM or or any of those.
49:32
SPEAKER_03: Yes, no worries.
49:33
SPEAKER_03: There's plenty of us that will exactly even worry about it.
49:36
SPEAKER_03: I'm trying my best not to swear tonight.
49:38
SPEAKER_03: I've done really You've done great.
49:40
SPEAKER_03: I haven't heard you say a single one.
49:42
SPEAKER_03: I know.
49:49
SPEAKER_03: Um all right, so what's next?
49:52
SPEAKER_03: And I'll edit this part out.
49:53
SPEAKER_02: No, you're good.
49:54
SPEAKER_02: Don't worry about it.
49:55
SPEAKER_02: Um, so you got spooky, like they're gonna do Goonies.
49:58
SPEAKER_03: So they're gonna do Goonies and they're gonna blow it out of the park.
50:00
SPEAKER_03: They're gonna blow out the park.
50:01
SPEAKER_03: Uh you don't know what barrels is doing.
50:03
SPEAKER_03: No one knows what barrels are doing.
50:04
SPEAKER_03: No one knows what barrels is doing.
50:05
SPEAKER_02: I want barrels of fun to do PeeBee's Big Adventure and use Brad Albright's art that he's already got for Pee-Wee on it.
50:14
SPEAKER_02: Really?
50:15
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I love Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
50:17
SPEAKER_01: You love Pee Wee.
50:18
SPEAKER_01: Not a Pee-Wee fan, but I'll I'll support it for you.
50:21
SPEAKER_02: I am s I grew up on that film.
50:25
SPEAKER_02: I grew up on the PeeBees Playhouse too.
50:27
SPEAKER_02: Like I watched all of it.
50:28
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's the real deal.
50:30
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
50:30
SPEAKER_03: Like people will lose their mind for that tequila song.
50:34
SPEAKER_02: Right?
50:34
SPEAKER_02: Right?
50:35
SPEAKER_03: I mean, that's a no-brainer.
50:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, 100%.
50:40
SPEAKER_02: 100%.
50:41
SPEAKER_02: Uh, there's bike multiball, like, there's so many different things that they could do with that game.
50:47
SPEAKER_02: I I just think it would be incredible.
50:49
SPEAKER_01: You're into Pee-Wee, you're also into Weird Al.
50:52
SPEAKER_01: So we need a multimorphic in the house.
50:54
SPEAKER_02: Did you get to play any of the P3s?
50:56
SPEAKER_02: We did.
50:57
SPEAKER_02: It was the first time we'd ever played on a P3.
50:59
SPEAKER_02: Um I loved Final Resistance.
51:03
unknown: Yeah.
51:04
SPEAKER_02: I could not get enough of that game.
51:05
SPEAKER_03: That's Scott Denise.
51:07
SPEAKER_03: He designed Rick and Morty.
51:10
SPEAKER_03: Which I haven't played.
51:11
SPEAKER_03: Total Nuclear Annihilation.
51:12
SPEAKER_02: I've played that there's a few people that have that in their private collections here in the league I play in.
51:17
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
51:19
SPEAKER_03: Depending on location, unfortunately.
51:20
SPEAKER_02: But uh it is it's so much fun.
51:23
SPEAKER_02: I love uh we so Crystal Corey, who's does the uh who was actually one of the announcers at the women's um tournament this last this last week, she's in my league as well.
51:35
SPEAKER_02: She's actually one of the people that run it.
51:36
SPEAKER_02: And we ended up being in the same group in in our our league over and over again, and she she cussed me out because two different times in a row, I went like two different weeks, I stole her blocks and got multi ball and beat her on TNA.
51:54
SPEAKER_02: It was great.
51:55
SPEAKER_02: I loved it.
51:56
SPEAKER_03: No, it's part of it.
51:58
SPEAKER_03: Hey, that's part of it.
51:59
SPEAKER_03: Don't leave it because I'm gonna take it.
52:01
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
52:01
SPEAKER_03: You left it, I'm gonna take it.
52:03
SPEAKER_03: I didn't leave it.
52:04
SPEAKER_03: I did it to her twice.
52:05
SPEAKER_03: The second time she was like, Oh my gosh.
52:07
SPEAKER_03: Well, stop choking on on the exactly, and choke on it, tell her what's up.
52:13
SPEAKER_03: No, I couldn't.
52:14
SPEAKER_02: I've never met a young lady, and I'm she's great, she's she's nice.
52:17
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure um, but yeah, it's so that was my favorite one.
52:22
SPEAKER_02: I enjoyed Portal because I played the games.
52:24
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you were you were super stoked to play Portal.
52:26
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then you didn't play Weird Owl because you didn't care.
52:30
SPEAKER_01: Listen, he offered, he was like, I really want to go to a Weird Al concert, and I was like, You've got a buddy that'll go with you.
52:36
SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't do Weird Owl.
52:38
SPEAKER_01: If we have a Weird Owl machine, we need that plug-in that we tried.
52:42
SPEAKER_01: You I can't remember who it was.
52:43
SPEAKER_01: The pin sound, we need that just for the weird owl it'll drive me nuts.
52:47
unknown: I can't do it.
52:48
SPEAKER_03: It's interesting what they're doing over there, multimorphics.
52:51
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it is different fuel, definitely plays different, different balls to then you go, oh, this is fine.
53:01
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, this is fine.
53:02
SPEAKER_02: That's like it took me probably two or three games before I really was like, okay, now I get it.
53:08
SPEAKER_02: Now I get it.
53:09
SPEAKER_03: The rub is how many has he sold and how many can he sell with this platform that is just unique?
53:16
SPEAKER_03: And I hope he does really well and keeps bringing out these good licenses.
53:20
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, me too.
53:22
SPEAKER_03: Ridiculous, you know, with the portal jump shot.
53:24
SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, so cool.
53:26
SPEAKER_01: Crazy.
53:26
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, it was so cool.
53:29
SPEAKER_02: And the little like upper play field and hitting the cube in to then have it appear on the other side.
53:34
SPEAKER_02: It was so well done.
53:36
SPEAKER_02: Um, we actually interviewed Jerry, it's one of our only interview on our channel.
53:41
SPEAKER_02: Such a nice guy.
53:42
SPEAKER_02: Like, he's I really like what they're doing over there.
53:44
SPEAKER_03: He's super passionate about what he's doing.
53:46
SPEAKER_03: Some people call him stubborn.
53:47
SPEAKER_03: I don't.
53:48
SPEAKER_03: I I like what they're doing.
53:49
SPEAKER_03: It's a different type of pinball machine.
53:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
53:53
SPEAKER_03: And there's a market for it, I think.
53:55
SPEAKER_02: And I think Portal has proven that there's a market for it.
53:58
SPEAKER_02: Would you get a P3?
54:00
SPEAKER_02: I would 100% get a good P3.
54:02
SPEAKER_01: He is designing our arcade because it's an unfinished room.
54:04
SPEAKER_01: He wants to put in a closet just so he can easily slide other modules in.
54:11
SPEAKER_01: So he's definitely.
54:17
SPEAKER_03: That's the one that I want to try.
54:19
SPEAKER_01: What does that mean?
54:20
SPEAKER_02: It's so it's one of the mini games you can play.
54:23
SPEAKER_02: Oh, and is it Princess Bride?
54:26
SPEAKER_02: What's the other one that has it?
54:27
SPEAKER_02: Heist.
54:28
SPEAKER_02: Heist.
54:29
SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's the one we started.
54:30
SPEAKER_02: Yes, we played Heist too.
54:31
SPEAKER_02: I love the crane on Heist.
54:33
SPEAKER_03: Um Dungeon Door Defender will get majorly addicting.
54:40
SPEAKER_03: I think it's 150 bucks, right?
54:42
SPEAKER_03: So you download and then you're just and you'll play the hell out of them.
54:46
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I would love to have that.
54:48
SPEAKER_01: That sounds so fun.
54:49
SPEAKER_02: So we it's so bad, Jamie.
54:52
SPEAKER_02: I've gone and like taped out like how many machines this room could hold.
54:56
SPEAKER_01: So many different times.
54:57
SPEAKER_01: He keeps on coming up with different configurations.
55:00
SPEAKER_01: He's like, How about this?
55:00
SPEAKER_01: How about this?
55:01
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, as long as I can have my skee ball machine in there too, like, go crazy.
55:05
SPEAKER_01: But I mean, going back to the coupon conversation, I've got to throw a monster leak hockey in there.
55:10
SPEAKER_01: Like, when is that gonna come?
55:11
SPEAKER_01: I don't know, but I need that one now too.
55:13
SPEAKER_01: So those are those are my two things, and I've got my ratings on our channel.
55:17
SPEAKER_02: Yep.
55:17
SPEAKER_02: I think right now I would love to get a multimorphic.
55:20
SPEAKER_02: It's not like this year, because I'm I'm gonna I want to wait and see what they do next.
55:24
SPEAKER_02: Um, and they're a little, I mean, they're they're expensive.
55:27
SPEAKER_02: Like getting into that platform is a lot.
55:30
SPEAKER_03: It it is, it is, but once you get in, then you're and you're rolling.
55:35
SPEAKER_02: You're rolling.
55:35
SPEAKER_03: Gotcha.
55:36
SPEAKER_02: So I actually am gonna I think I'm gonna join their Discord and see if I can find maybe one on a deal.
55:42
SPEAKER_02: Like somebody's looking to get rid of it and maybe grab it secondhand.
55:46
SPEAKER_02: That's what I might do.
55:48
SPEAKER_02: We'll see.
55:48
SPEAKER_02: It's definitely gonna go in there eventually.
55:50
SPEAKER_02: It's just we've also got to finish the room.
55:52
SPEAKER_02: We can't buy too many machines before we finish the room.
55:55
SPEAKER_02: We get in there.
55:56
SPEAKER_02: What are we looking at?
55:57
SPEAKER_02: What's our okay?
55:58
SPEAKER_02: So here's so there's there's several different configurations.
56:01
SPEAKER_01: Got a grand plan.
56:02
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna knock out a part of the wall, we're gonna put double doors in.
56:06
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
56:07
SPEAKER_01: Um separate AC unit 100%.
56:12
SPEAKER_02: You gotta you gotta be comfortable in there, Jamie.
56:14
SPEAKER_02: We're gonna do it right.
56:15
SPEAKER_02: We're gonna do it right, exactly.
56:17
SPEAKER_02: I have a buddy that has like specialized floor, he's a he's owns a flooring business, so he's gonna get us some specialized, like super comfy flooring.
56:24
SPEAKER_02: Um one wall will fit eight machines, and so we got eight across one wall.
56:30
SPEAKER_02: The other wall is where the closet will be.
56:32
SPEAKER_02: I can fit four machines.
56:34
SPEAKER_02: And then the the last wall that's in the room can fit like a skee ball, maybe a polycade, and maybe something else.
56:43
SPEAKER_02: So I think I have to fit.
56:44
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna tell you this.
56:45
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna give you some advice to somebody.
56:48
SPEAKER_00: Please, thank you.
56:50
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I think 12 Diet Cokes a day, and I move like a crazy person.
56:55
SPEAKER_03: I'm an addictive person, and I can see your addiction, both of you.
56:59
SPEAKER_03: Don't waste your time with skee ball, it's gonna be gone.
57:04
SPEAKER_03: If you can put two machines there, you're gonna fit two machines there.
57:08
SPEAKER_01: Jamie, stop it.
57:10
SPEAKER_01: Every time we go to the arcade, I make him play at least one game of ski ball with me.
57:15
SPEAKER_01: He doesn't like it because I always win.
57:17
SPEAKER_01: She does, it's true.
57:17
SPEAKER_03: Oh, Janine kicks my rear end.
57:21
SPEAKER_03: We went to uh Delray Pinball Museum, and all she did was play like these 1910 skee ball, which are brilliant, by the way, if you're in Florida.
57:32
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
57:33
SPEAKER_03: It it's like this mechanical EM Ski ball.
57:37
SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's kind of cool.
57:38
SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
57:39
SPEAKER_03: That well, that's all they played, and I played pinball.
57:41
SPEAKER_03: I mean, but I'm just telling you, you're gonna get rid of it in six months.
57:46
SPEAKER_01: Listen, I need I need one game in there that I can win.
57:49
SPEAKER_01: He's always gonna beat me at Moonball.
57:51
SPEAKER_03: How long is that?
57:52
SPEAKER_03: How hard is that gonna be to get down there?
57:54
SPEAKER_03: You have to You know what?
57:56
SPEAKER_01: That's his problem.
57:59
SPEAKER_03: This is this is the process.
58:01
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna need to buy an escalera.
58:03
SPEAKER_03: Have you heard of an escalera?
58:04
SPEAKER_02: Is that the ones that the mechanized that go up?
58:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so the guy that does our rentals has one.
58:09
SPEAKER_02: Oh because he he uses it to put because our we put when we rent our machines, we get a new one every like eight weeks.
58:16
SPEAKER_02: He takes them down the stairs on that thing, and it's like, oh my gosh.
58:20
SPEAKER_02: Okay, and we thought we bought our cyclone, and I was like, with a regular one, I was like, I need to call him up and get his fancy machine.
58:28
SPEAKER_03: Just rent the escalera.
58:30
SPEAKER_03: I know seriously.
58:31
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so what we need also is we need a home leaderboard.
58:35
SPEAKER_03: So you're gonna build that, right?
58:37
SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
58:38
SPEAKER_02: We actually just picked up a free TV from a friend of ours.
58:41
SPEAKER_02: Like, this is what we're gonna use for our home leaderboard.
58:45
SPEAKER_03: So we got a home leaderboard.
58:47
SPEAKER_03: Yep.
58:47
SPEAKER_03: And all right, what's bolted to the ground?
58:50
SPEAKER_02: So for me, if if they could do that Batman 66, okay, that's number one.
58:55
SPEAKER_01: Your cyclone will never leave.
58:57
SPEAKER_02: My cyclone will never leave the house.
58:58
SPEAKER_01: That's our first machine.
59:00
SPEAKER_02: It's got the sentimental of my dad.
59:02
SPEAKER_02: You know, my dad passed away last year, and so this was kind of like the homage to him.
59:07
SPEAKER_02: Um, so that's yeah, like we we have a lot of memories about it, so that's bolted to the ground.
59:16
SPEAKER_02: I personally love Godzilla as well.
59:19
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I know it's the cliche answer.
59:22
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's do you know how many people but Godzilla brought into this hobby?
59:26
SPEAKER_03: Okay, they it's incredible.
59:28
SPEAKER_03: It's the highest selling Stern of all time.
59:30
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
59:31
SPEAKER_03: That's crazy, and not the highest selling pinball machine of all time.
59:35
SPEAKER_02: No, but it's gonna I I would not be surprised if it got there.
59:38
SPEAKER_02: Um did you hear the rumor that they might do a spike three version of that?
59:43
SPEAKER_02: I heard that.
59:44
SPEAKER_03: Me too.
59:45
SPEAKER_03: I hope they won't.
59:47
SPEAKER_03: I kind of well, I wouldn't mind, I wouldn't mind it.
59:50
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna irritate everyone, and then I'm gonna have to hear about it.
59:55
SPEAKER_02: Because I wouldn't mind it, because that's the one I would get.
59:58
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would get it.
1:00:00
SPEAKER_02: You would with the spike three cabinet?
1:00:02
SPEAKER_02: Yep, with the spike three, the expression lighting and everything.
1:00:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it would be cool.
1:00:09
SPEAKER_02: That's pretty great.
1:00:10
SPEAKER_02: All right.
1:00:11
SPEAKER_02: Um, if I had my way, our our review just went up today.
1:00:17
SPEAKER_02: I would get a rush.
1:00:19
SPEAKER_01: I love he's obsessed.
1:00:21
SPEAKER_01: I'm not, I'm not either.
1:00:23
SPEAKER_01: Thank you, thank you.
1:00:25
SPEAKER_01: See?
1:00:26
SPEAKER_03: I like Don Borg, but I just think it there's too hard.
1:00:31
SPEAKER_01: And it's weird.
1:00:33
SPEAKER_02: It is weird.
1:00:36
SPEAKER_02: Prime Rodent.
1:00:37
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I would get the premium 100%.
1:00:39
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:00:40
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think it looks better.
1:00:42
SPEAKER_02: And it has the vertical upkicker.
1:00:43
SPEAKER_03: It has the vertical upkicker.
1:00:44
SPEAKER_02: You're right.
1:00:45
SPEAKER_02: Yep.
1:00:46
SPEAKER_02: Right.
1:00:46
SPEAKER_02: That's the well, so when we rented it, that's what we had.
1:00:49
SPEAKER_02: Um, like I said, our review just went up today.
1:00:51
SPEAKER_02: She gave it a 13 out of 25, and I gave it like a 22 out of 25.
1:00:56
SPEAKER_01: We are not on the same page.
1:01:01
SPEAKER_02: I I I went to several of their concerts.
1:01:04
SPEAKER_02: I was a rush head in high school, so like so it's like right up there.
1:01:08
SPEAKER_02: And I've gained a better appreciation for Borg machines.
1:01:11
SPEAKER_02: They are wickedly difficult, but I I kind of like I like Rush a lot.
1:01:16
SPEAKER_02: I like Teenage Mutant Turtles.
1:01:18
SPEAKER_02: I hated the I don't like Metallica as a band, but I liked the machine.
1:01:23
SPEAKER_02: So I'm sorry.
1:01:26
SPEAKER_02: Just not my not too hard for me.
1:01:29
SPEAKER_02: Oh, really?
1:01:30
SPEAKER_02: They're the best.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_01: We would need the I can't remember what the plug-in thing is.
1:01:37
SPEAKER_01: The pin sound.
1:01:38
SPEAKER_02: Well, and you were nine months pregnant when we got Metallic on the house, so you were like, I'm not even gonna go down there.
1:01:44
SPEAKER_02: No, you can play it.
1:01:45
SPEAKER_02: I don't want to because I'm uncomfortable, and I don't want to play the machine.
1:01:48
SPEAKER_02: Yep, no, not my favorite.
1:01:50
SPEAKER_03: Well, how about having a devil in your house?
1:01:54
SPEAKER_02: I like the Iron Maid machine, I think it plays great.
1:01:56
SPEAKER_03: It does play great, but my wife hates it.
1:02:01
SPEAKER_03: She is so dumb with it.
1:02:03
SPEAKER_03: So, what I do is my friends, we pass our games around.
1:02:07
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
1:02:07
SPEAKER_03: Oh, fun.
1:02:08
SPEAKER_01: That's smart.
1:02:09
SPEAKER_03: Oh, I've got someone uh housing my walk-up soccer.
1:02:13
SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay, gosh.
1:02:14
SPEAKER_03: I only have room for one machine.
1:02:15
SPEAKER_03: That's it.
1:02:16
SPEAKER_03: I got a little bungalow.
1:02:17
SPEAKER_03: Uh, we moved from our house to a little bungalow.
1:02:20
SPEAKER_03: So uh I've had this for about six months, five months, and it's I I'm done with it.
1:02:26
SPEAKER_03: I've got enough.
1:02:27
SPEAKER_03: What are you gonna what are you gonna trade it for next?
1:02:29
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
1:02:30
SPEAKER_03: Whatever the beggars can't be choosers.
1:02:32
SPEAKER_03: I'll probably bring in uh World Cup Soccer back.
1:02:35
SPEAKER_00: Okay, gotcha.
1:02:36
SPEAKER_03: And uh this will go back to John Spates.
1:02:39
SPEAKER_03: Thank you, John, for letting me borrow this.
1:02:41
SPEAKER_03: And we've had so many great times on it.
1:02:43
SPEAKER_03: If he uh wants it, I'll tell you what, John, if you're listening, you got a Batman 66 that that's at uh somebody else's house.
1:02:51
SPEAKER_03: If they want to bring that over here, oh there you go.
1:02:57
SPEAKER_03: I want to try the uh bookworm the bookworm Mr.
1:03:01
SPEAKER_03: Freeze combo, yes, yes, the bookworm Mr.
1:03:05
SPEAKER_03: Freeze combo.
1:03:07
SPEAKER_02: I guess you do, and then you just do all three King Tuts, all three King Tuts, and you have uh three X multiplier for every shot.
1:03:13
SPEAKER_02: Try that.
1:03:14
SPEAKER_02: That's oh yeah.
1:03:15
SPEAKER_02: I'm excited.
1:03:16
SPEAKER_02: I learned about it and I tried it and I got it off once.
1:03:20
SPEAKER_03: And I got like you could only do it.
1:03:22
SPEAKER_02: I I don't I think I could do it like one in a hundred, but it's that one time that you got it and I got like 1.5 billion with that game.
1:03:31
SPEAKER_02: Like it was a great game.
1:03:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, gadgets are everything, right?
1:03:35
SPEAKER_03: You gotta get to get those gadgets.
1:03:37
SPEAKER_02: Get them.
1:03:37
SPEAKER_02: They're third.
1:03:38
SPEAKER_02: Oh Jamie, it's such a they need to.
1:03:40
SPEAKER_02: If Stern's listening to this, please.
1:03:42
SPEAKER_02: I'm begging you, make that anniversary game so I will and I will buy it.
1:03:47
SPEAKER_03: The best game ever.
1:03:48
SPEAKER_02: I've got the checkbook ready to go.
1:03:51
SPEAKER_03: He's ready to spend some of his money and a coupon.
1:03:54
SPEAKER_01: There we go.
1:03:55
SPEAKER_01: It's all ready.
1:03:56
SPEAKER_03: Um well, if I don't think we've missed any manufacturers.
1:03:59
SPEAKER_03: Poor Hexa.
1:04:00
SPEAKER_03: Don't you?
1:04:01
SPEAKER_03: Oh, I felt so bad.
1:04:02
SPEAKER_02: I wanted to play that Three Musketeers game, and I didn't get to meet them.
1:04:06
SPEAKER_02: I um and so I gave him a long hug.
1:04:09
SPEAKER_03: We just hugged the pump.
1:04:11
SPEAKER_03: No, I didn't hug him.
1:04:11
SPEAKER_03: It's I definitely did feel really terrible.
1:04:16
SPEAKER_03: I was stuck in Memphis.
1:04:17
SPEAKER_03: And we were Ralph and I were just walking, and we were like the first persons he told.
1:04:23
SPEAKER_02: Oh, was it?
1:04:24
SPEAKER_02: Uh see, and I was like, because I didn't hear the news that it it got caught up, and so I kept walking the floor looking for it, looking for it.
1:04:33
SPEAKER_02: I never found it.
1:04:33
SPEAKER_02: I was like, this and I went to the map, and then I was like, okay, I think it's over here, and I could never find it.
1:04:38
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, well, maybe something happened.
1:04:41
SPEAKER_02: And then I I think it was when I listened to your guys' round table, uh, because I watched you guys do that.
1:04:48
SPEAKER_02: I actually interrupted you guys.
1:04:49
SPEAKER_02: I felt bad.
1:04:51
SPEAKER_03: Come and say hi and put the mic on.
1:04:53
SPEAKER_02: I should have put the mic on.
1:04:54
SPEAKER_02: I again, it was that imposter thing, Jamie.
1:04:56
SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh, they're doing their thing.
1:04:58
SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm it's real.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_03: I know it.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_03: It is it too.
1:05:01
SPEAKER_03: I have anxiety, so I just freak out, and uh I'm like standing next to Ralph, and I'm like, these people don't know me, nobody knows me.
1:05:10
SPEAKER_03: But uh it's it's a real thing, yeah.
1:05:13
SPEAKER_02: I mean it and so I was like, no, I'm not gonna bother them.
1:05:15
SPEAKER_02: I've already I hung out with them the other day.
1:05:17
SPEAKER_02: I don't want to like be clingy.
1:05:21
SPEAKER_03: Uh that's very kind.
1:05:23
SPEAKER_03: That's very I feel the same way though.
1:05:25
SPEAKER_03: I'm crazy.
1:05:26
SPEAKER_03: We're we're all crazy.
1:05:28
SPEAKER_03: We're all crazy here.
1:05:29
SPEAKER_03: Um, so we've basically covered everything that's going on in the world of pinball.
1:05:34
SPEAKER_03: I think you guys are an absolute joy.
1:05:36
SPEAKER_03: Um that's very kind of you.
1:05:38
SPEAKER_03: So very nice.
1:05:39
SPEAKER_03: I sent you sent me pictures for the thumbnail, and shout out to Mason Conrad for doing the thumbnail for me.
1:05:45
SPEAKER_03: You're the best.
1:05:46
SPEAKER_03: I owe you 20 bucks.
1:05:49
SPEAKER_03: I showed a picture to Janine.
1:05:50
SPEAKER_03: I go, Janine, look who I'm interviewing tonight.
1:05:52
SPEAKER_03: Aren't they lovely?
1:05:55
SPEAKER_03: And then I was in uh 40 minutes late at night.
1:05:59
SPEAKER_00: Worth it.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_00: It's fine.
1:06:02
SPEAKER_03: Find uh Dr.
1:06:05
SPEAKER_03: C and Mrs.
1:06:07
SPEAKER_03: J are dumb names.
1:06:11
SPEAKER_03: That's right.
1:06:11
SPEAKER_03: Well, you know, I almost did that.
1:06:13
SPEAKER_03: Like Jack Danger, you know, we don't really know his real name.
1:06:16
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:06:17
SPEAKER_03: Red Ralph, we kind of I, you know, you kind of you can guess.
1:06:21
SPEAKER_03: You can guess.
1:06:22
SPEAKER_03: But like always been Jamie Birchwell.
1:06:24
SPEAKER_02: So I was just like, There you go.
1:06:25
SPEAKER_02: Well, and and my thing was when I first started, I was really camera shy.
1:06:29
SPEAKER_02: Like, I have a beautiful wife.
1:06:31
SPEAKER_02: I'm new.
1:06:33
SPEAKER_02: And so I was like, I was really hesitant to be on camera at all.
1:06:37
SPEAKER_02: And so I made these little avatars for us.
1:06:40
SPEAKER_02: I was like, we're gonna use names, we're gonna use these little avatars, and I used AI to create these little avatars based on what we looked like.
1:06:46
SPEAKER_00: Bad idea.
1:06:46
SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, Jamie.
1:06:47
SPEAKER_02: People were like, Are you even real?
1:06:49
SPEAKER_02: Are these voices even real?
1:06:50
SPEAKER_02: And so I was like, okay, fine, we're gonna get rid of them.
1:06:53
SPEAKER_02: Um you know, we're just gonna go on camera, it's gonna be fine.
1:06:56
SPEAKER_02: Be fine.
1:06:57
SPEAKER_02: And it's fine, it's changed everything.
1:07:00
SPEAKER_02: It did.
1:07:00
SPEAKER_02: Yep, but that was why I did the whole like the names, the names, and it's just like, well, at this point, I'm just gonna keep doing it.
1:07:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, lean on it.
1:07:08
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
1:07:09
SPEAKER_03: That's good.
1:07:10
SPEAKER_03: I think you guys are doing a great job.
1:07:12
SPEAKER_03: I think it's definitely family fun, and uh it's very, very positive.
1:07:16
SPEAKER_03: And we need that more in the community, you know.
1:07:18
SPEAKER_02: Well, I appreciate that.
1:07:19
SPEAKER_02: That's very kind of you to say.
1:07:20
SPEAKER_03: We really need that, and and it please follow pinball pursuit on all the major socials.
1:07:26
SPEAKER_03: Anything else I missed?
1:07:27
SPEAKER_03: I don't think so.
1:07:28
SPEAKER_02: No, this was a pleasure, Jamie.
1:07:30
SPEAKER_02: You are such a delight.
1:07:31
SPEAKER_02: We really appreciate you.
1:07:32
SPEAKER_01: I'm something it was so fun to meet you.

SPEAKER_03: Thank you guys so much.
1:07:40
SPEAKER_03: And do me a favor, once I click stop, you have to hang on for a little bit and talk talking to me some more because it's got to load up into river.
1:07:47
SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, don't worry about it.
1:07:48
SPEAKER_02: I appreciate it.
1:07:49
SPEAKER_03: Thank you everyone for uh next next uh week.
1:07:52
SPEAKER_03: I think we're recording another round table because we can't stay away from each other.
1:07:56
SPEAKER_03: And you guys do a good job.
1:07:58
SPEAKER_03: So I talked to Kale today for about 45 minutes and we're just laughing and just then he goes, you know, this is a podcast right here.
1:08:06
SPEAKER_03: This one.
1:08:08
SPEAKER_03: You're right.

SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna uh we're gonna look for that next week.
1:08:13
SPEAKER_03: And uh today is what March second?
1:08:16
SPEAKER_02: No, it's April 2nd.
1:08:17
SPEAKER_00: April second.
1:08:18
SPEAKER_03: So this will be up April 3rd.
1:08:19
SPEAKER_03: I'll put it up in the morning.
1:08:21
SPEAKER_03: Love it.
1:08:21
SPEAKER_00: Perfect, excited.
1:08:23
SPEAKER_03: All right, thanks, guys, so much.
