Cooling Centers Open for Heat Relief | Richmond News
With scorching temps hitting central Virginia this holiday weekend, Chesterfield and Hanover County are rolling out cooling centers to keep residents comfortable. Chesterfield’s Meadowdale Library stays open all weekend, plus splash pads at Beulah Rec Center and River City Sportsplex. Hanover County’s cooling spots include Montpelier Rec Center, the Arts and Activities Center, and Rescue Squad Station 14 — all open daily until 7 PM.
