- 0:25Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:29Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Mallley, along with
- 0:33Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Jerry Caldwell, and today's very special guest, the
- 0:38Speaker 1: one and only Rebecca Black. Rebecca formerly of ninety eight
- 0:46Speaker 1: point seven K Love Fame and as far as I'm concerned,
- 0:50Speaker 1: next to Ron Chapman, one of the finest talents to
- 0:53Speaker 1: come out of that station. And if I'm being honest, Rebecca,
- 0:57Speaker 1: you get to actually beat Ron Chapman because you out
- 1:00Speaker 1: a lie.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Just barely though I just barely. But I am scarred
- 1:05Speaker 2: with all kinds of trauma.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yeah, we all are. That's what happens with that radio people.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And now, like us, you're on the podcast digital side
- 1:12Speaker 1: of things. You are one half of the Hunted af podcast. Yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 1: so welcome back into the treehouse. It's been a while
- 1:19Speaker 1: since we've seen you.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Thank you. Yeah, it's been like over a year, right, it.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Has, and we're going to celebrate your re emergence into
- 1:27Speaker 1: the treehouse. Uh with Obviously it's Halloween, so we figure
- 1:31Speaker 1: what better time than to have one of our favorite
- 1:34Speaker 1: haunted podcast people in the treehouse than Halloween. So welcome back.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Thank you. That's a sweet I would.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Like to start by asking everybody, do you know the
- 1:46Speaker 1: origins of Michael Myer's mask from the Halloween movie franchise? Jerry,
- 1:52Speaker 1: This is just a simple yes or no. Do you
- 1:55Speaker 1: know the origin of Michael Meyer's mask? Yes, Rebecca, do
- 1:59Speaker 1: you know that the origin of Michael Myers mask?
- 2:01Speaker 3: Of course I do.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Cray, please say you don't, I don't, Thank you very much.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I appreciate for going along with that a little bit there.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Not everyone is familiar with the origin story of Michael
- 2:15Speaker 1: Myers mask. In fact, they're of all the you know,
- 2:19Speaker 1: famous iconic masks in you know, Halloween movie lore. Some
- 2:25Speaker 1: of them have decent stories, some of them are just
- 2:27Speaker 1: kind of like okay, but I think the Michael Myers
- 2:30Speaker 1: mask one truly is one of the most original. So
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm now going to share with you. This is John Carpenter,
- 2:40Speaker 1: obviously the guy that did the Halloween franchise, talking about
- 2:43Speaker 1: how they acquired, how they came up with, and how
- 2:46Speaker 1: they came about the Michael Myers mask.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Eataly Wallace, the production designer, ran up to the mask
- 2:54Speaker 4: shop on Hollywood Boulevard and bought a couple.
- 2:57Speaker 5: One was a clown mask.
- 2:58Speaker 4: And that's, you know, one way to go and the
- 3:00Speaker 4: other he got this William Shatner Star Trek mask.
- 3:04Speaker 6: Captain Kirk tore off the eyebrows, hoofed up the hair
- 3:07Speaker 6: a little so it looked demented and strange, and I
- 3:10Speaker 6: spray painted it whieter than it already was took off
- 3:12Speaker 6: the sideburns.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Oh.
- 3:14Speaker 7: It created a shiver right in the room, and we
- 3:17Speaker 7: knew we had something special.
- 3:19Speaker 4: I guess I owe the success of Halloween to William Shatner.
- 3:22Speaker 1: The thing that I don't know, And I'm wondering if Rebecca,
- 3:25Speaker 1: you or Jerry know the question or know the answer
- 3:29Speaker 1: to this question. Are we talking William Shatner Star Trek
- 3:33Speaker 1: or are we talking William Shatner TJ. Hooker era?
- 3:37Speaker 5: Oh?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Because my first thought was certainly Star Trek, But then
- 3:41Speaker 1: they mentioned the sideburns and the stuff, and I'm like,
- 3:46Speaker 1: was there a TJ. Hooker mask? And would that have
- 3:48Speaker 1: been more frightening than a Captain Kirk teased a hair mask.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I'm not sure.
- 3:54Speaker 8: I think it's more of the TJ. I think so,
- 3:57Speaker 8: uh Hooker era, you know, like the eighties. Captain Kirk
- 4:00Speaker 8: as opposed to the.
- 4:02Speaker 9: First Halloween was nineteen seventy eight, So it has to
- 4:05Speaker 9: be Star Trek.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Okay, okay, because t J. Hooker didn't start until the eighties.
- 4:09Speaker 10: Right, yeah, Okay, Well that's true.
- 4:11Speaker 2: And I was gonna say Star Trek has been on
- 4:13Speaker 2: the air way longer than t J.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Hooker was.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It's not a gse that's not true. Actually, I think
- 4:20Speaker 1: that's incorrect. So in our hearts and minds, we think
- 4:24Speaker 1: Star Trek was this massive success of a series, and
- 4:28Speaker 1: it was after it got off the air and hit syndication.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Because if I remember this correctly, Trey, I know, you know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: because you're you're a Trecky. Wasn't the original Star Trek
- 4:38Speaker 1: only on for like two or three seasons?
- 4:40Speaker 9: Yeah? I think it was like two and a half
- 4:41Speaker 9: and then And truth of the matter is it wasn't.
- 4:46Speaker 9: It was a hit, but it wasn't that big of
- 4:47Speaker 9: a hit, and it wasn't until even in syndication. It
- 4:50Speaker 9: wasn't until Star Wars and then they went and they
- 4:52Speaker 9: did the Star Trek movie that all of a sudden
- 4:55Speaker 9: it found new life. I uh.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah, So that's uh, that's at least one mystery that
- 5:05Speaker 1: is solved. It's okay, So Captain Kirk teased hair all
- 5:10Speaker 1: of that. All right, So that's.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Yeah, are we not picturing like watching Halloween and like
- 5:15Speaker 2: William Shatner is actually playing him?
- 5:18Speaker 1: Oh No, I have many times over the years, and
- 5:21Speaker 1: what I keep meaning to do is to what I
- 5:22Speaker 1: want to do is go back and rewatch some of
- 5:24Speaker 1: the Halloween movies. Yeah, and just watch it through that
- 5:28Speaker 1: lens of Yes, it's it's just a you know, a
- 5:30Speaker 1: really fed up William Shatner with family issues.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Well, like, even if you think about it, the way
- 5:35Speaker 2: he moves that character Michael Myers, it's real slow and
- 5:38Speaker 2: kind of deliberate, which I totally feel is a Shatner
- 5:41Speaker 2: vibe anyway.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yeah, because Shatner speaks that way, it would make sense
- 5:45Speaker 1: that he would move in a similar fashion, which is,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you know, still just kind of kind of a situation.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Again for us.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah, by the way, that's also my Robot dance.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I love it.
- 6:01Speaker 9: And you could also go the other direction and do
- 6:04Speaker 9: you know Boston legal Shatner ooh, interest as he's stabbing
- 6:09Speaker 9: somebody Denny Crane.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Perhaps because there's been so many Halloween movies and now
- 6:16Speaker 2: technically that characters should be a seventy year old man.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Maybe that's what they did in the last couple of movies.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Was they updated to the Boston legal version of him
- 6:24Speaker 2: older wrinklier?
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yep? That and then they have to get the new
- 6:29Speaker 1: mask of course. Yeah, sure, no, I think I'm on
- 6:31Speaker 1: board to that. I think it makes sense. I'm one,
- 6:34Speaker 1: So we have Trey. You think it was three seasons
- 6:37Speaker 1: that Star Trek was on, right, I think that's like that.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I think I've then discovered the scariest thing for Halloween
- 6:46Speaker 1: twenty twenty four is t J Hooker was on TV
- 6:51Speaker 1: in its original run for ninety episodes. That's four years.
- 6:56Speaker 1: There were more original TJ Hooker episodes then there were stars.
- 7:01Speaker 7: Wow.
- 7:02Speaker 8: It was on for three seasons for a total of
- 7:04Speaker 8: seventy nine episodes.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Oh wait, Actually, it does make sense now that I
- 7:10Speaker 1: think about it, because t J Hooker had Adrians med. Right,
- 7:16Speaker 1: that'll get you the additional eleven episodes without a doubt. Heather,
- 7:20Speaker 1: you know was I think Locklear didn't hurt, but I
- 7:22Speaker 1: think it was all about Adrians and me.
- 7:24Speaker 9: Did Adrians of med catapult the success of Grease Too
- 7:27Speaker 9: into t J Hooker? I can't remember the timeline.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I just think, I just love the fact that you
- 7:34Speaker 1: used the verb catapult in relation to Grease Too.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yes, wildly successful Grease Too, which actually knows any of
- 7:43Speaker 2: the characters are and I think, uh, who was it
- 7:46Speaker 2: Michelle Pfeiffer is, Yes, hey, yes.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Your look that look. Grease Too Is is an interesting
- 7:52Speaker 1: film because you get to see a tale of two careers,
- 7:54Speaker 1: one with Adrians of med and the other with Michelle Yes,
- 7:59Speaker 1: which contrast. Yeah, I'd like to point out real quickly,
- 8:02Speaker 1: just it's a quick aside because it's something I've seen
- 8:04Speaker 1: and I love. One of my favorite horror movies actually
- 8:08Speaker 1: stars Michelle Pfeiffer. Uh, and that is what lies beneath
- 8:12Speaker 1: with Harris. Also, in case you're wondering and didn't know,
- 8:17Speaker 1: it was written by agent Coulson from the Marvel universe Clark.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Which one's agent Coulson, because I don't recall.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Did you see the First Avengers with Loki and their
- 8:28Speaker 1: battling in New York. Do you see the guy that
- 8:30Speaker 1: Loki stabbed with that really big spear and he was
- 8:32Speaker 1: sad about it and he wanted Captain America's autograph on
- 8:34Speaker 1: his card. Yes, that actor is the dude that wrote
- 8:37Speaker 1: what Lies Beneath Cool?
- 8:40Speaker 3: What a weird career change? How do you go from
- 8:42Speaker 3: horror to action hero?
- 8:44Speaker 1: I don't know. How do you go from radio to podcast?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Shut up now, Sometimes it's not up to us.

- 11:28Speaker 1: of sleepless in Seattle, right, but have you heard of
- 11:32Speaker 1: dateless and sexless in Portland?
- 11:36Speaker 10: No?
- 11:36Speaker 1: No, this is one of those situations where I'm intrigued
- 11:40Speaker 1: to see Trey. I know you love a good crazy woman.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I just want to see on which side you fall
- 11:48Speaker 1: attracted or scared. Okay, all right, here we go. A
- 11:54Speaker 1: thirty three year old virgin who has never been on
- 11:57Speaker 1: a date has explained why she is not actively searching
- 12:01Speaker 1: for love. Her name is Lauren Harkins. She is from Portland, Maine,
- 12:05Speaker 1: not Oregon. She's from Maine, and she's opened up about
- 12:08Speaker 1: her view on relationships and how they're not necessary for
- 12:11Speaker 1: a happy life. For Laurena, it began in high school
- 12:14Speaker 1: when many of her friends were feeling love for the
- 12:16Speaker 1: first time, as well as being uninterested. She was also
- 12:19Speaker 1: dealing with more serious matters after her father, who passed
- 12:22Speaker 1: away in two thousand and six at the age of
- 12:25Speaker 1: forty six. Her decision to stay a virgin has been
- 12:28Speaker 1: a conscious one, Lauren says, as she's been very content
- 12:32Speaker 1: on her own all these years. She said, the twenties
- 12:35Speaker 1: were such a confusing time. Everyone's figuring out careers, navigating
- 12:38Speaker 1: all this stuff. It just wasn't something I wanted. When
- 12:40Speaker 1: I looked around, there was no one who I was
- 12:42Speaker 1: friends with and in a relationship whose life I wanted
- 12:44Speaker 1: to emulate, and I was quite happy to just do
- 12:46Speaker 1: my own thing. I've never looked to others as a
- 12:49Speaker 1: marker for how my life is going to play out,
- 12:51Speaker 1: but also instead chosen to follow my own intuition on
- 12:54Speaker 1: what is best for me at any given time. As
- 12:57Speaker 1: well as being an only child, Lauren also has no
- 12:59Speaker 1: real desire to get married or have kids. Okay, However,
- 13:04Speaker 1: as she's gotten older, she says she feels ready for
- 13:07Speaker 1: a partner if the right person comes along. Otherwise, she's
- 13:10Speaker 1: very happy being on her own. Trey, I'm gonna do
- 13:12Speaker 1: a quick check in with you. How are you feeling
- 13:14Speaker 1: so far about young Lauren interested or scared?
- 13:21Speaker 10: Scared?
- 13:22Speaker 1: Oh, scared already. Okay, I'm kind of surprised. I'm going
- 13:27Speaker 1: to show you a photo now of the thirty three
- 13:30Speaker 1: year old dateless virgin Lauren. Okay, there she is, right. Oh, oh,
- 13:35Speaker 1: very nice. She's a cute girl. Yeah no, No, she's
- 13:39Speaker 1: on social media and things, so she's not like a
- 13:41Speaker 1: complete hermit. So yeah, so there you go. That's what
- 13:45Speaker 1: she looks like. Now back to her story, she says,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I would want someone who is way more established than
- 13:50Speaker 1: I am. Trey, I don't know why you're scared. She's
- 13:53Speaker 1: describing you. You you're not married. I don't think you
- 13:56Speaker 1: want kids either. She's younger than you, she's pretty, she's
- 14:01Speaker 1: got a twinge of crazy about her. Still know. Nope,
- 14:08Speaker 1: you know I'm setting you up. That's why you're saying no,
- 14:10Speaker 1: Otherwise you'd be intrigued.
- 14:15Speaker 9: The thirty three year old virgin is cast a lot
- 14:18Speaker 9: of I mean that big giant red flags.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Oh come on, say what you really want to say.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I believe him. I think he's absolutely terrified.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I I agree, I understand his red flag situation. But
- 14:33Speaker 2: I think there's more to this story for Trey.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Say it again, Trey, how what is you truly feel
- 14:40Speaker 1: about young Lauren?
- 14:41Speaker 9: She's clearly being crazy, Like she's attractive, and you've for
- 14:48Speaker 9: thirty three years, you know there's something there's something else.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Interesting because I think I know where you're coming from.
- 14:55Speaker 1: A Breca. There's a stereotype among a lot of men,
- 14:57Speaker 1: which is I'd be happy to take care of flower
- 15:00Speaker 1: pop that cherry. I'm gonna tell you something like you
- 15:04Speaker 1: there's three of us. There's three guys in here right now,
- 15:06Speaker 1: and we're all shaking her heads, going Nope, we don't
- 15:09Speaker 1: we don't want none of that cherry baby. Because I'm just.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Gonna y'all are gonna think I'm crazy because I understand
- 15:16Speaker 2: where she's coming from.
- 15:18Speaker 1: No that I kind of get her mentality and things
- 15:21Speaker 1: I get she's got. She's got, she has self esteem,
- 15:25Speaker 1: God blessed.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yes, independent, Oh my God, haven't forbid she has to
- 15:28Speaker 2: get married and have kids.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Hell no, she can do whatever she wants.
- 15:31Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't care about any of I don't care
- 15:33Speaker 9: about any of that. But she could at least get
- 15:36Speaker 9: laid like she couldn't keep a boyfriend long enough.
- 15:41Speaker 2: No, oh oh, do you did not just go there
- 15:44Speaker 2: who's to say that she hasn't had a boyfriend long
- 15:46Speaker 2: enough and that maybe she just made the decision for herself.
- 15:49Speaker 1: See, I'm trying to figure this part out of the
- 15:51Speaker 1: story because she says she is a virgin and it's
- 15:54Speaker 1: not one of those born again things as far as
- 15:56Speaker 1: the research I've done, and she says she's also she
- 15:59Speaker 1: says she's even been on a date. So oh yeah,
- 16:03Speaker 1: so that's why I said dateless and sexless sexless and importantly,
- 16:06Speaker 1: because I don't think she's ever been on a date.
- 16:08Speaker 9: I'd actually be more comfortable if it was a religious
- 16:12Speaker 9: reason that she was still a virgin. This is just.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna read you that. I'm gonna read you this
- 16:19Speaker 1: next sentence and see if this sheds a little more
- 16:21Speaker 1: light on it for you. Okay, she says, I would
- 16:24Speaker 1: want someone, I would want someone who is way more
- 16:27Speaker 1: established than I am. I would only want to be
- 16:29Speaker 1: with someone who is better than me in every way.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I think that sheds the light on her true situation
- 16:39Speaker 1: is because maybe she has impossibly high standards.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I was gonna say, yeah, she seems a little picky.
- 16:46Speaker 2: If she needs somebody that's better than her, that's impossible, Like,
- 16:49Speaker 2: you're never gonna find somebody that's better than you, You're
- 16:52Speaker 2: gonna find somebody that's comparable to you.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all about just who can we live together
- 16:58Speaker 3: like long term?
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 8: And if I'm the one that has to be the
- 17:02Speaker 8: character compass in this duo, we are screwed.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Yeah. I think for like Trey, his character compass or
- 17:10Speaker 1: the one that he's looking for, is constantly spinning, but
- 17:13Speaker 1: within reason because it's in a dial. This is outside
- 17:17Speaker 1: the dial for Trey. That's why I think, Trey, you're
- 17:19Speaker 1: saying that this is too much crazy for you.
- 17:21Speaker 9: Well, and also the deal of she wants someone established,
- 17:24Speaker 9: what exactly does that mean? It sounds like she wants
- 17:26Speaker 9: someone older and wealthy.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It sounds to me and this is me playing armchair psychologist,
- 17:32Speaker 1: which is freakishly dangerous. Because of the loss of her father,
- 17:35Speaker 1: she's trying to find someone to be her daddy.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I totally thought the same thing when once I heard
- 17:41Speaker 2: the word established. That means an older gentleman that has
- 17:44Speaker 2: maybe some money and that can comfort her like her
- 17:48Speaker 2: with her daddy issues since I passed away.
- 17:50Speaker 9: Right, I can go to the lodge and find ten
- 17:53Speaker 9: of these.
- 17:55Speaker 1: And they're not going to be so hung up. I
- 17:58Speaker 1: don't know about their Now, keep keep in mind all
- 18:03Speaker 1: the things I've told you about this young lady named Lauren,
- 18:06Speaker 1: But she goes on to say that she does want
- 18:09Speaker 1: to live life to the fullest. She says she's goal oriented,
- 18:12Speaker 1: emotionally independent, she just just she just loves her freedom
- 18:15Speaker 1: and wants to live life to the fullest. And she
- 18:17Speaker 1: also says, I love adventures and trying new things. That's
- 18:20Speaker 1: the other thing to me. Whenever I hear someone say
- 18:23Speaker 1: I love trying new things, to me, that means two things.
- 18:27Speaker 1: It's it's either food or sex, sometimes both.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Well, so then I think she is open to the
- 18:32Speaker 2: possibility of it happening one day.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I was kind of like her, and I was like,
- 18:37Speaker 2: I didn't I didn't want to date people. I didn't
- 18:39Speaker 2: want a boyfriend. I didn't like any of that kind
- 18:42Speaker 2: of stuff. And then it's a miracle. I'm actually married
- 18:44Speaker 2: because it sort of all fell into my lap when
- 18:46Speaker 2: I wasn't looking for it, and he worked at.
- 18:48Speaker 1: The lodge too. I did, yes, no, she fell into
- 18:52Speaker 1: your lap.
- 18:52Speaker 2: My stripper song is cast in the Cradle because I
- 18:54Speaker 2: like to get those daddy guys.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Trey this face.
- 19:01Speaker 1: You love that he's soaking it in.
- 19:03Speaker 3: He is.
- 19:05Speaker 2: But I do think that maybe it's I don't think
- 19:07Speaker 2: it's completely off the table for her. I think maybe
- 19:09Speaker 2: if she's open to it, if it just sort of
- 19:12Speaker 2: crosses her path, if you will, well.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I think the only way it's going to cross her
- 19:16Speaker 1: path is if someone digs up her dad and he
- 19:18Speaker 1: starts walking the earth again.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I again, you're wrong there, not again.
- 19:30Speaker 1: This is the danger of me playing armchair psychologist. It's
- 19:33Speaker 1: a little bit more about Lauren, the former correctional law
- 19:37Speaker 1: enforcement worker. See this girl. This girl is full of
- 19:41Speaker 1: surprises's onion. She spends a lot of her time traveling,
- 19:46Speaker 1: and she added recently up been to Morocco, Peru, came
- 19:48Speaker 1: in Islands, Bahamas, France, Germany and the Netherlands. I love
- 19:51Speaker 1: immersing myself in new cultures as well as traveling and
- 19:54Speaker 1: focusing on her social media. She's also been supported by
- 19:57Speaker 1: her late father's trust fund. Oh so, I mean she's
- 20:02Speaker 1: got a work ethic. She has no problem working in
- 20:05Speaker 1: a prison. But at the same time, she also knows
- 20:07Speaker 1: how to take advantage of daddy's money, even though he's living.
- 20:10Speaker 3: On might be jealous of her life style choices at
- 20:13Speaker 3: this point, Like she's got money, she can travel, do
- 20:17Speaker 3: whatever she wants. She's not held down by any kind
- 20:20Speaker 3: of man, marriage, children, whatever. That sounds delightful on paper.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and as far as we know, she has no
- 20:26Speaker 1: chasing her go get some strange you know what, Though
- 20:32Speaker 1: I'm with Rebecca on this, I think she's actually living
- 20:36Speaker 1: her best life.
- 20:39Speaker 3: I don't think everybody is sexually driven.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Make it out to be in this world like every
- 20:46Speaker 2: TV show, it's like everybody's sex graze, every movie, everybody's
- 20:49Speaker 2: sex craze.
- 20:50Speaker 3: And I don't think.
- 20:51Speaker 2: That's the reality of things. I think there are just
- 20:53Speaker 2: people out there who are like, you know what, I'm good.
- 20:56Speaker 9: But here's the problem with this one is all right,
- 20:58Speaker 9: I'll go down that path. So you start dating here, great,
- 21:03Speaker 9: finally get married whatever, lay it on her. Then she goes,
- 21:06Speaker 9: oh my god, what have I been missing? And she's
- 21:08Speaker 9: off to you know, you.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Were ah in every country, you were the gateway.
- 21:17Speaker 3: What if she's like asexual and doesn't know it.
- 21:20Speaker 1: See, That's where I'm going because everything she's describing sounds
- 21:24Speaker 1: exactly like old journalism teacher, like she's just.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Either it's like if it happens, cool, if it doesn't, whatever. Like,
- 21:31Speaker 2: she doesn't seem to be starved for that specific need.
- 21:36Speaker 2: So I think that maybe it might be in a
- 21:38Speaker 2: sexual type situation.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think you're onto something there, Rebecca,
- 21:42Speaker 1: because she's treating sex the way that you know other
- 21:44Speaker 1: people might treat whether or not you know that you
- 21:47Speaker 1: know the pizza place has any pepperoni left right well?
- 21:52Speaker 9: Does not sound like a fun relationship.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Again, like she she doesn't miss it though, you know
- 21:58Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Because she doesn't she doesn't know any
- 22:00Speaker 2: any different, so she can't miss anything.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Does that mean according to Yeah, But according to Trey,
- 22:05Speaker 1: it's because she hasn't had that good pepperoni yet.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Okay, hold on here, Let's take the scenario just a
- 22:12Speaker 2: time further. Let's say she does get that good pepperoni, okay,
- 22:16Speaker 2: and she's still.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Feels the same about.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It, then maybe she should try the fish.
- 22:33Speaker 7: Visit us online a treehouse on air dot com.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Is that sexist? It felt a little sexist, Rebecca. You
- 22:38Speaker 1: can tell me a little little, just a smidge. Let's
- 22:46Speaker 1: get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the treehouse. Now for
- 22:49Speaker 1: any and all of your plumbing once and needs, give
- 22:51Speaker 1: her and all of them there a call to one
- 22:53Speaker 1: fourth three six eight thirty eight thirty eight the website
- 22:56Speaker 1: Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. When I had my house
- 22:59Speaker 1: in Dallas Jaqueline, you came out a few times to
- 23:02Speaker 1: help us with some issues, and your response time was phenomenal.
- 23:06Speaker 1: And it wasn't just because it was me. It was
- 23:08Speaker 1: because that's the kind of company you run. You go
- 23:11Speaker 1: out of your way trying to help every client and
- 23:14Speaker 1: try to get there as soon as you can.
- 23:15Speaker 14: Well, I mean, the reality of it is is that
- 23:17Speaker 14: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 23:21Speaker 14: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 23:25Speaker 14: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,
- 23:28Speaker 14: et cetera, et cetera, if you've got to stoppage on
- 23:31Speaker 14: the mainline and you don't know and you keep putting
- 23:35Speaker 14: liquid or you know, waste into the drains, if it
- 23:40Speaker 14: has nowhere to go, it will come back in the
- 23:42Speaker 14: house and at that point in time, it's no longer
- 23:45Speaker 14: a want, it's a need, and that sort of thing
- 23:48Speaker 14: can't wait when you have those emergencies, you have got
- 23:52Speaker 14: to figure out how to manage the crew so that
- 23:55Speaker 14: you can have the best response time.
- 23:57Speaker 1: That's right, and they'll show up and they'll do it quickly.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Called you Alan from Brooks Plumbing for any and all
- 24:02Speaker 1: of those plumbing once it needs two, one, fourth, three, six,
- 24:04Speaker 1: eight thirty eight, thirty eight and again that website Brooks
- 24:06Speaker 1: Plumbing Texas dot com.
- 24:14Speaker 5: You're in the treehouse.
- 24:16Speaker 7: Listen us online a treehouse on air dot com.
- 24:20Speaker 1: That previous segment of the treehouse is brought to you
- 24:22Speaker 1: by Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration for your free roof
- 24:25Speaker 1: inspection and to get yourself on the cook list. Called
- 24:29Speaker 1: Daniel Cook at eight three three Cook DFW. That's eight
- 24:31Speaker 1: three three Cook DFW the website cookdfw dot com. All right,
- 24:36Speaker 1: we kept talking about Lauren there, the thirty three year
- 24:39Speaker 1: old sexless dateless in Portland, Maine. And the more you
- 24:45Speaker 1: thought about it, Rebecca, the more you're kind of on
- 24:47Speaker 1: board with the lifestyle.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I think this is a great move, and I'm tempted
- 24:51Speaker 2: to do it myself.
- 24:52Speaker 3: I'm leave my.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Husband, go to France, eat a croissant alone. I don't
- 24:56Speaker 2: think it gets at I don't think it is more
- 24:57Speaker 2: delightful than that.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Meanwhile, Trey, you're doubling down on on Uh you think
- 25:03Speaker 1: that it all could go sideways on her?
- 25:08Speaker 9: Yeah? I mean it just it the fact you hadn't
- 25:12Speaker 9: even been on a date. Yeah, that's fine. If she's
- 25:14Speaker 9: a sexual, then why is she even looking to muddle
- 25:17Speaker 9: the waters, you know, and just to say, hey, I'm
- 25:21Speaker 9: just looking for a platonic friend to grow Okay?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Cool? Fine, Yeah, then boundaries are set. Sure, But and
- 25:27Speaker 1: you know what, because she hasn't had those experiences yet,
- 25:30Speaker 1: maybe she doesn't know what she actually wants.
- 25:32Speaker 9: Well. But that's the other thing is if she hadn't
- 25:34Speaker 9: even been on a date, I mean, has she even
- 25:38Speaker 9: been intimate with somebody even partly? Has someone ever gotten
- 25:42Speaker 9: to third base? I mean do we even know?
- 25:47Speaker 10: Uh?
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I say no on that.
- 25:49Speaker 2: And I think I think if she does get all
- 25:51Speaker 2: of that, that she's gonna be disappointed. I don't think
- 25:54Speaker 2: she's going to be interested in any of this, even
- 25:56Speaker 2: even if she gets it.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Yeah, because the standard male mind is well after me,
- 26:01Speaker 1: she'll want time. Well, the reality of it is, the
- 26:05Speaker 1: possibility exists that you go in as cock of the
- 26:08Speaker 1: walk and you just completely leave her utterly disappointed and deflated,
- 26:15Speaker 1: but not in a good way. And now you've just
- 26:19Speaker 1: solidified the fact that she the lifestyle she's chosen is
- 26:23Speaker 1: for the best because if no.
- 26:25Speaker 9: Or like I said, or she gets it once and
- 26:28Speaker 9: she's like, oh my gosh, I could have tried all
- 26:31Speaker 9: these different things, and then she's on a completely different mission.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You know what. Everybody's journey is different. Not everybody to judge, Yeah,
- 26:39Speaker 1: not every well, media people, that's who, fright. We love judging.
- 26:44Speaker 1: It's why we're here, and you know, and at the
- 26:47Speaker 1: end of the day, everybody eats and praise and loves differently. Sure,
- 26:51Speaker 1: and she's doing her own thing. Speaking of doing her
- 26:54Speaker 1: own thing, Rebecca from the Haunted af podcast one half.
- 26:58Speaker 1: The other half is, of course, Julie. You guys, you
- 27:01Speaker 1: were on a hiatus for a little while. Now you're
- 27:03Speaker 1: back in full swing doing f podcast episodes. I'm especially
- 27:09Speaker 1: so it's good timing because it's Halloween. Is there a
- 27:13Speaker 1: particular story from an episode that might stand out to
- 27:16Speaker 1: you that might say, yeah, this one really freaked me out,
- 27:20Speaker 1: because on your show, that's what you do. You share
- 27:23Speaker 1: real ghost stories on your show.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Right, there's a gad jillion stories that we've told that
- 27:29Speaker 2: really freaked me out, But the most recent one actually
- 27:32Speaker 2: happened had to do with a ping pong ball.
- 27:35Speaker 1: And I know this has nothing to do with Lauren.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Then No, not that South Park.
- 27:48Speaker 9: Sorry, it's just writer's birthday.
- 27:55Speaker 2: No, we'll get this one woman, this is maybe two
- 27:57Speaker 2: episodes ago. Her name is Denise, and she called in
- 28:00Speaker 2: and left us a laundry list of things that have
- 28:03Speaker 2: been going on at her house. In addition to what
- 28:06Speaker 2: she thought were her kids running up and down the hallways.
- 28:09Speaker 3: At night, which they weren't. Dad went to check on
- 28:12Speaker 3: them and they were all snug as a bug in
- 28:14Speaker 3: their beds.
- 28:16Speaker 2: She was also seeing like shadows darting across rooms, thinking
- 28:21Speaker 2: again it was her kids, and then she'd call their
- 28:23Speaker 2: names and their voice would be coming from the other
- 28:24Speaker 2: side of the house. They also would hear disembodied voices
- 28:28Speaker 2: of their girls around the house as well. But what
- 28:32Speaker 2: really got us is the ping pong ball. And she's like,
- 28:36Speaker 2: we don't have a ping pong table, we don't have
- 28:38Speaker 2: ping pong balls, so there's absolutely no reason why a
- 28:41Speaker 2: ping pong ball would be in our house. But it's
- 28:44Speaker 2: the middle of the night, and I guess they hear
- 28:46Speaker 2: some kind of ruckus. But she said that you could
- 28:49Speaker 2: hear the bouncing ping pong ball like.
- 28:53Speaker 3: All the way down the hall and down the stairs,
- 28:57Speaker 3: and so.
- 28:59Speaker 2: It doesn't Yes, it doesn't really sound all that freaky,
- 29:01Speaker 2: does it now that I'm trying to repeat it.
- 29:04Speaker 1: No, No, it is a freaky thing. It's just you'd
- 29:06Speaker 1: have to take you have to pause, put yourself in
- 29:09Speaker 1: that situation and think, Okay, I'm hearing weird noises, and
- 29:12Speaker 1: the noises I think that they are they are not right.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Like she's literally hearing it, and she's thinking to herself,
- 29:18Speaker 2: She's like, that sounds like a ping pong ball, because
- 29:19Speaker 2: she's like, why on earth will we have a ping
- 29:21Speaker 2: pong ball in our house? But like all this other
- 29:23Speaker 2: stuff had been going on, so she makes her husband
- 29:26Speaker 2: go and check it out, and sure enough, there's a
- 29:28Speaker 2: soul ping pong ball at the bottom of the stairs,
- 29:31Speaker 2: just sitting there like kind of like, hey, what's up,
- 29:33Speaker 2: I've how did it get there?
- 29:35Speaker 3: How did it? You know what I'm saying, This is
- 29:38Speaker 3: a terrible story. Let me find a different one.
- 29:39Speaker 1: No, no, no, this is a good story. Because I think
- 29:41Speaker 1: we're actually unraveling this mystery. Did the ping pong ball
- 29:45Speaker 1: say yellow rose on it? Platinum Club? Perhaps it might have.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 29:53Speaker 1: I think I think now that you.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Say that, hold on. She did say that her husband
- 29:57Speaker 3: was like, do you smell perfume on me?
- 30:00Speaker 2: And we jokingly were like, oh, he's been to the
- 30:02Speaker 2: strip club where he hadn't been.
- 30:06Speaker 1: That's a nailed it, Yes, now that I'm.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Putting all together.
- 30:13Speaker 1: But it's still a scary story because any husband that's
- 30:16Speaker 1: lived this is truly terrified.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Yes, he has no idea what's in store for him after.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Well, that's that's part two. That's going to be really really.
- 30:28Speaker 3: I hope she finds out and then lets us know
- 30:30Speaker 3: and then and.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Then you can have a nice interview from prison situation.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Oh god, that's fantastic.
- 30:38Speaker 3: I am, y'all.
- 30:39Speaker 2: I'm the worst at retelling other people's stories because I
- 30:41Speaker 2: forget parts.
- 30:42Speaker 3: I leave out details.
- 30:43Speaker 2: I'm sure there was something in there that was truly
- 30:45Speaker 2: horrifying that I've completely forgotten because I'm old and my
- 30:48Speaker 2: brain doesn't work very well, you know what.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I I wish I could argue that point with you,
- 30:55Speaker 1: but I'm in the same boat. I forget stuff left
- 30:59Speaker 1: and right. I find myself when I'm doom scrolling at night,
- 31:02Speaker 1: finding things that will just confirm my state of mind,
- 31:07Speaker 1: like last night, I'm not making this up last night
- 31:09Speaker 1: and I'm doom scrolling Instagram. And there was one of
- 31:11Speaker 1: those self help therapy accounts that said, you're in a
- 31:16Speaker 1: what is it trauma mode or some type of bodily state,
- 31:22Speaker 1: that you're in an emergency state, right, and some of
- 31:25Speaker 1: the characteristics of it are poor memory.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I'm like, I have that same say anytime I see
- 31:34Speaker 2: a scroll of like the perimenopause stuff or the ADHD stuff,
- 31:38Speaker 2: I'm like, I have that, I have.
- 31:39Speaker 1: That I'm it really is said how WebMD has now
- 31:43Speaker 1: leapt from WebMD on to just straight up social media
- 31:46Speaker 1: into your feed and and then of course when you
- 31:48Speaker 1: look at it, you engage with it at all. Now
- 31:52Speaker 1: that's all you get. So now, like we all learned
- 31:55Speaker 1: back in the day, stop going to WebMD because you'll
- 31:58Speaker 1: end up with all the deadly diseases. Now it's the
- 32:00Speaker 1: same way on Instagram. Now I've I'm not only in
- 32:03Speaker 1: the middle of a trauma situation from my childhood, but
- 32:06Speaker 1: I've also got new ways to pop my back right
- 32:09Speaker 1: because I because there's physical therapy stuff on there that
- 32:12Speaker 1: it wants me to see. Also, there's a weird protein
- 32:16Speaker 1: bar that they keep showing me on Instagram called David,
- 32:20Speaker 1: and I don't feel like eating a protein bar that's
- 32:22Speaker 1: just called David.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I don't like that at all. That's people. You're eating
- 32:27Speaker 3: people in.
- 32:27Speaker 2: That, Like, that's some cannibalism stuff.
- 32:32Speaker 3: It has to be who would name it David.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I'm not I'm going to show this to you. I
- 32:37Speaker 1: think I think I took a photo of so you
- 32:39Speaker 1: know I'm not making this up. And now you're all
- 32:41Speaker 1: going to be hit with the same ad you watch.
- 32:44Speaker 10: Quick. Google is always listening.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's Google. It's all the things. Where did
- 32:50Speaker 1: David go?
- 32:51Speaker 10: Hand?
- 32:51Speaker 3: Like it'll be in my Sam's cart later today, right, So,
- 32:54Speaker 3: just so, so.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I left I did the screenshop, but I left all
- 32:57Speaker 1: the stuff above and below it so you can see
- 32:59Speaker 1: that it's from feet. This was Saturday, at like nine
- 33:02Speaker 1: forty five, twenty eight grams of protein, zero grams of sugar,
- 33:05Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty calories David, David gold wrapper David,
- 33:14Speaker 1: a protein bar named David.
- 33:18Speaker 10: I don't give it look just like an ad from
- 33:20Speaker 10: the seventies.
- 33:21Speaker 3: It also a condom.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Yeah, another reason why I don't want David, right, I.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Was like, nobody wants David anymore?
- 33:29Speaker 1: Can you imagine if like, if you're like, if your
- 33:32Speaker 1: spouse is going inside while you're pumping gas and you say, hey,
- 33:35Speaker 1: will you grab me some David in there?
- 33:38Speaker 3: A handful of David please?
- 33:40Speaker 5: Yes?
- 33:41Speaker 1: And if they have two of them.
- 33:45Speaker 3: It's going to be a wild night.

- 36:29Speaker 3: I promise it's so much better than the story I
- 36:32Speaker 3: just told.
- 36:33Speaker 1: I think it was a good story. It was just
- 36:35Speaker 1: terrifying in a different way.
- 36:36Speaker 3: No, I was like, you guys saved it. I again.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I was like, I'm not telling the story right, I
- 36:41Speaker 2: am not doing it justice. Go listen to the episode
- 36:43Speaker 2: where Denise, who had happened to tells.
- 36:45Speaker 3: It so much better.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I just keep thinking about how, since you're joining us
- 36:51Speaker 1: via video remotely, that half of your screen behind you
- 36:55Speaker 1: is is green and I can't wait to have fun
- 36:57Speaker 1: with that later.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Oh please do please put this side. Please put a
- 37:02Speaker 3: ping pong ball right.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Here, all right. One of the other reasons that it's
- 37:08Speaker 1: great to have you here on a very special episode
- 37:11Speaker 1: Inside the Treehouse because it is Halloween. It's because over
- 37:14Speaker 1: the last week we've been playing a game inside the
- 37:16Speaker 1: Treehouse called Versus. We've done this game for a while now,
- 37:20Speaker 1: well I'll ask the guys, Okay, would you rather do
- 37:23Speaker 1: this or do that? Eat this or eat that? And
- 37:25Speaker 1: that's Treehouse Versus. But over the last week we've been
- 37:27Speaker 1: doing the Halloween version called Spooky Versus. And now it
- 37:32Speaker 1: is your turner back of the play Spooky Versus Inside
- 37:36Speaker 1: the Treehouse podcast. Are you ready? Yes, Okay, I'm going
- 37:41Speaker 1: to get you caught up on all the previous Spooky
- 37:45Speaker 1: Versus scenarios, including the one we started with. So Rebecca
- 37:49Speaker 1: Black from the Haunted af podcast. If you were in
- 37:54Speaker 1: the middle of a darkly lit stairwell wanting to escape,
- 37:58Speaker 1: and up the stairs was Michael my or down the
- 38:01Speaker 1: stairs is Jason Voorhees. Are you going upstairs to attempt
- 38:04Speaker 1: your escape or downstairs?
- 38:07Speaker 2: I am definitely going upstairs because Michael Myers is the
- 38:10Speaker 2: slowest villain in history. I think I could outrun him
- 38:15Speaker 2: very easily.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I think also in the Halloween films that I've seen.
- 38:21Speaker 1: I don't know if anyone's ever tried shin kicking him
- 38:24Speaker 1: and then running right because he's already walking extremely slowly.
- 38:28Speaker 1: And if you give a good shot right to the shin,
- 38:30Speaker 1: no human can walk after that. And even that guy right, if.
- 38:34Speaker 2: We're talking, if we're referring to the most recent of
- 38:36Speaker 2: the Halloween movies, I said, I think I said this
- 38:38Speaker 2: earlier when we were talking about his mask, but he's
- 38:40Speaker 2: got to be in his seventies.
- 38:41Speaker 5: Now.
- 38:43Speaker 2: I think Jamie Lee Curtis is in her seventies. I'm like,
- 38:45Speaker 2: I could, I could definitely outrun a seventy year old.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's weird because I do want to see those
- 38:50Speaker 1: new Halloween movies, but I also know that it's just
- 38:53Speaker 1: going to be like the Nursing Home edition. But I'm
- 38:56Speaker 1: still curious.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Oh, the last one was actually really good.
- 39:01Speaker 1: And I think that's why I want to because I
- 39:02Speaker 1: heard good things about them.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Yeah, they basically reboot the series.
- 39:07Speaker 1: All right, let's go to the next spooky verses. Inside
- 39:10Speaker 1: the tree house, darkly lit stairwell. You want to escape.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Your options are downstairs against Samara Morgan from the Ring,
- 39:16Speaker 1: or upstairs against a spider crawling Reagan McNeil from the Exorcist.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Are you going upstairs or downstairs?
- 39:23Speaker 2: Well, this one, I don't think it matters because they're
- 39:25Speaker 2: both children. You can drop kick a kid really easily.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I mean, come on, I've got I'm fifteen total nieces
- 39:34Speaker 2: and nephews. I could take any one of them today,
- 39:36Speaker 2: not a problem. So either one is fine for.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Me on this and or you could go Tray's route,
- 39:41Speaker 1: which was he wanted to go upstairs because he said
- 39:44Speaker 1: it just remind him of most of his third dates.
- 39:48Speaker 1: All right, next one. Here we go upstairs through ghost
- 39:52Speaker 1: Face from Scream or downstairs against leather Face from the
- 39:56Speaker 1: TEXTA Chainsaw Massacres.
- 39:58Speaker 2: I think leather Face is the real deal, so I'm
- 40:00Speaker 2: going to avoid him at all costs. I'm going to
- 40:03Speaker 2: go upstairs with the scream Go.
- 40:05Speaker 3: What is his name? Ghost Face?
- 40:06Speaker 1: Ghost Face?
- 40:07Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I'm gonna go with them.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I think at some point we might talk a little
- 40:10Speaker 2: and we'd start vibing, and I think we might be friends.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Interesting how you went that direction, because I use the
- 40:17Speaker 1: same thinking that he might be a little emo, the
- 40:19Speaker 1: way that most of most of the Scream killers were.
- 40:21Speaker 1: And I feel like I could beat up an emo kid.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Okay, I can see that, Yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Versus leather Face, who's obviously freakish in a chainsaw, And
- 40:29Speaker 1: I'd rather be killed by a knife in a chainsawa if.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Leather Face is going to take it real slow with you.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, up, we have downstairs Hannibal Lecter or
- 40:41Speaker 1: upstairs Jigsaw. It was technically the bad guy is John Kramer,
- 40:48Speaker 1: but in this scenario showing you a photo, I use
- 40:50Speaker 1: Jigsaw's creepy little doll. But I think they're fairly I'm trying.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to get, you know, scary villains that are
- 40:57Speaker 1: pretty evenly matched. And here you have two guys. They're
- 41:00Speaker 1: human in nature, no superpowers, nothing like that. They're just
- 41:03Speaker 1: really demented individuals. So which one are you going to
- 41:07Speaker 1: make your great escape too?
- 41:09Speaker 3: I'm surprised you think these two are evenly matched.
- 41:12Speaker 9: I don't.
- 41:13Speaker 3: I think his uh, you've got what's oh my Hannibal Lecter.
- 41:18Speaker 3: He kills his.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Victims and then eats them and puts their skin on
- 41:21Speaker 2: so like, I'll already be dead and at that point
- 41:23Speaker 2: I don't care what he does.
- 41:24Speaker 3: With my body.
- 41:25Speaker 9: You clearly did not read or watch Hannibal.
- 41:27Speaker 10: I did.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Oh no, I haven't seen Hannibal.
- 41:29Speaker 9: Yeah, he slices the guy's skull open and is dissecting
- 41:33Speaker 9: his brain and frying it while he's still alive.
- 41:36Speaker 1: And then he feeds it to him.
- 41:37Speaker 9: Mm hmmmm.
- 41:38Speaker 1: But keep in mind, but keep in mind rayle Oda. Yeah,
- 41:42Speaker 1: the actor that's portraying that character in the film didn't
- 41:46Speaker 1: seem to mind. So clearly Hannibal Lecter has a decent
- 41:49Speaker 1: bedside manner.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Right, It's like a lobotomy situation.
- 41:54Speaker 2: I probably can't feel anything at that point, whereas other
- 41:57Speaker 2: dude is all about some torture and some not good
- 41:59Speaker 2: torqu I don't want glass in my eyes and I
- 42:01Speaker 2: don't want to have to so off my own leg.
- 42:04Speaker 3: So I'm going to go with Hannibal Lecter on this.
- 42:06Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I think I would too, but I'm hoping that I
- 42:09Speaker 1: would wait long enough to make a decision to where
- 42:11Speaker 1: the puppet on the tricycle would fall down the stairs
- 42:14Speaker 1: and I can just walk past him. We'll see next
- 42:18Speaker 1: up Pennywise the Clown or Freddy Krueger. Pennywise the Clown
- 42:23Speaker 1: is downstairs, Freddy Krueger is upstairs.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I'm going upstairs with Freddy because it's all in my dreams.
- 42:29Speaker 2: And I know that if I fall in my dreams,
- 42:31Speaker 2: I will wake up immediately because I always do.
- 42:34Speaker 3: So it's easy. Just throw myself over a building, wake up,
- 42:38Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Stick your hand in the fire. I think that's how
- 42:41Speaker 1: one of the people woke up in one of the
- 42:43Speaker 1: Freddy movies. Absolutely, and now for today, brand new, this
- 42:47Speaker 1: is for all of us. You're in a darkly lit
- 42:49Speaker 1: stairwell and you want to make a grand escape. Upstairs
- 42:53Speaker 1: is Chucky. Downstairs is Annabelle, two terrifying dolls. Upstairs is
- 43:00Speaker 1: Chucky downstairs as Annabell. Jerry, let's start with you. Are
- 43:02Speaker 1: you going downstairs against the demon possessed doll Annabelle or
- 43:07Speaker 1: demon possessed doll Chucky?
- 43:11Speaker 6: Man?
- 43:11Speaker 10: That is a tough one.
- 43:12Speaker 1: That's the old idea.
- 43:15Speaker 8: Um, you know what I think. I'm going downstairs. I'm
- 43:23Speaker 8: with face off against Dannabell.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Okay, and uh, Rebecca, how about you?
- 43:27Speaker 2: I too, am gonna go downstairs and face off against
- 43:30Speaker 2: annabel And my reasoning is because you don't play with
- 43:33Speaker 2: eighties movies, eighties horror movies.
- 43:36Speaker 3: They're legit.
- 43:37Speaker 2: And I'm like, Chucky always keeps coming back. Plus he's plastic,
- 43:40Speaker 2: so even if you cut him up or melt him,
- 43:41Speaker 2: he can always come back together.
- 43:44Speaker 1: That's interesting. I like the eighties angle. You're right that
- 43:46Speaker 1: the eighties slasher flicks were different than the twelve first
- 43:48Speaker 1: century scary stuff. Trey, what about you?
- 43:52Speaker 9: I too will go downstairs against Annabel because in Chucky
- 43:57Speaker 9: you have a combination of two frightening scary things, which
- 44:02Speaker 9: is you know, obviously the possessed all but he's a
- 44:04Speaker 9: ginger too, so it's a ginger demon.
- 44:10Speaker 3: I will say, the ginger thing didn't cross my mind.
- 44:14Speaker 1: But at least maybe it just doubles down on your decision.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Oh God, you're in the tree house.
- 44:27Speaker 7: Visit us online a treehouse on air dot com.
- 44:31Speaker 1: By the way, Jerry, I think we had the title
- 44:33Speaker 1: for this episode, ginger Demon.
- 44:35Speaker 10: Ginger Demon.
- 44:52Speaker 5: You're in the tree house.

- 45:21Speaker 1: com obviously, or just shoot us an email Treehouse on
- 45:24Speaker 1: Air at gmail dot com. Back inside the Treehouse, joined
- 45:28Speaker 1: by Rebecca Black from Haunted af podcast. I'm going to
- 45:32Speaker 1: give you a chance at scary story salvation.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Soon but bless you.
- 45:38Speaker 1: But first we need to do some Halloween birthdays, because
- 45:42Speaker 1: today is Thursday, October thirty first, twenty twenty four birthdays today.
- 45:46Speaker 1: One of the Smith kids, Willowsmith is twenty four. She
- 45:52Speaker 1: plays Caitlin on Pretty Little Liars The Perfectionists. She's also
- 45:55Speaker 1: sending on The Walking Dead. Cindy Park Sydney Park is
- 45:59Speaker 1: twenty seven. She plays Shurey in the Black Panther movies
- 46:04Speaker 1: in the Marvel Universe, which, if you know that also
- 46:06Speaker 1: makes her the new Black Panther. Letitia Wright is thirty
- 46:10Speaker 1: one today. Also, Eddie Ka Thomas is forty four. If
- 46:14Speaker 1: you watch the TV show Scorpion, he played Toby. Most
- 46:17Speaker 1: of us know him best as Finch from American Pie.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Now we're all in that American Pie age where we
- 46:24Speaker 1: all saw I think we were all in kind of
- 46:25Speaker 1: high school around that age, So I think we all
- 46:27Speaker 1: had people we kind of knew that reminded us of
- 46:30Speaker 1: some of those characters in American Pie. Jerry, to me,
- 46:34Speaker 1: you would be the you know, sorry, but you'd be
- 46:36Speaker 1: the ones, you know, humping the pie. But speaking of
- 46:40Speaker 1: Finch from American Pie, I had a friend of mine
- 46:42Speaker 1: in high school that reminded me exactly of Finch. His
- 46:45Speaker 1: name was Jeff, and he was our Finch in our group.
- 46:49Speaker 1: So anyway, that actor Eddie kay Thomas, he is forty
- 46:53Speaker 1: four today. Did you guys have any in your friends
- 46:55Speaker 1: group in high school? Any anyone that reminded you of
- 46:58Speaker 1: American Pie characters? Did any of you have a stiffler friend.
- 47:03Speaker 3: That wouldn't require friends in high school?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Oh? So you were the band camp girl?
- 47:09Speaker 9: Probably.
- 47:10Speaker 3: I wasn't in band either, so I wasn't even cool
- 47:12Speaker 3: enough to be in that.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Oh.
- 47:14Speaker 8: We did have a stiffler, but we also had an
- 47:17Speaker 8: I don't have a peeper.
- 47:18Speaker 10: We also had s break.
- 47:21Speaker 1: S Break was that one of the American Pie characters.
- 47:23Speaker 8: Yeah, he was a kid that had to go home
- 47:25Speaker 8: to poop because he was poop chi in public.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Oh oh wow, Okay, Yeah, I was thinking the main group.
- 47:30Speaker 8: But yeah, that's really specific, the one that got to
- 47:32Speaker 8: make out with Jennifer Cooley.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Okay, gotcha and Tray, did you Uh? I could see
- 47:36Speaker 1: you being Uh. I could see you being the lacrosse
- 47:41Speaker 1: player in American Pie. Maybe I'm brain farting on his name,
- 47:48Speaker 1: but yeah, I'm something Chris ye And I know he
- 47:51Speaker 1: went to TCU. He was at TCU at the same time.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I had friends of mine at TCU.
- 47:58Speaker 9: I had one guy that was I can't remember the
- 48:01Speaker 9: character's name that was screwed the Apple Pie Jim. Yeah,
- 48:08Speaker 9: like that.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Wait, are you saying you would be Jim? Is that
- 48:10Speaker 3: what I'm hearing?
- 48:11Speaker 6: No?
- 48:12Speaker 1: Oh, okay, Oh you said you said you had you
- 48:14Speaker 1: had a fraternity brother that was like Jim.
- 48:17Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 48:18Speaker 2: I thought we were about to be into like confession zone.
- 48:21Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, I'm here for that.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so am I all about your pie?
- 48:25Speaker 3: Tray.
- 48:26Speaker 1: We're about to do a double episode. I'm about to
- 48:30Speaker 1: send you some weird stuff from other birthdays today, she
- 48:36Speaker 1: plays any Walker on Covert Affairs. Piper Parabo was forty eight,
- 48:40Speaker 1: but I think she got her big break in the
- 48:42Speaker 1: little film Coyote Ugly. Other birthdays today Lynn Bergeran is
- 48:48Speaker 1: fifty four. We all know her as one of the
- 48:52Speaker 1: members of Ace of Bass. I will I will freely
- 48:56Speaker 1: admit seventh and eighth grade. Yeah, I enjoyed some soa basement.
- 49:00Speaker 9: Sorry that's I had high hopes for them for being
- 49:02Speaker 9: the next Abba and they just fizzled out.
- 49:04Speaker 10: Yeah you know why.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Probably because they refused the glitter. The glitter might have
- 49:09Speaker 1: saved them, or the leather. Maybe they should have gone
- 49:13Speaker 1: the grease too rope. Also, not to be left out, Carrollton,
- 49:19Speaker 1: Texas's own Vanilla Ice is fifty seven today.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Oh wow, fifty seven.
- 49:27Speaker 3: Oh, I'm so old.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Not only are we old, but he's so old. Where
- 49:31Speaker 1: he went from suburban white wrapper pretending he's from Miami
- 49:37Speaker 1: to want to be gangster rapper, to rock rapper to
- 49:42Speaker 1: home flipper.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Right, he's he's in career.
- 49:46Speaker 1: It's a hell of an arc that he's that he's
- 49:48Speaker 1: lived and yet.
- 49:49Speaker 3: Should thank him.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's he paved away. I'm going to
- 49:57Speaker 1: hate myself in the morning for saying this. But he
- 49:59Speaker 1: didn't pay the way he broke the eyes. Well, Dan,
- 50:06Speaker 1: where's where's my k love jingle?
- 50:08Speaker 9: I'll follow you, I'll follow that one up and then
- 50:11Speaker 9: there was snow.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Wow, not the weather phenomenon, but.
- 50:18Speaker 9: The Canadian rapper with that one song. Yeah, informer in formal.
- 50:24Speaker 3: I know no other words to that, by the way.
- 50:26Speaker 1: One does nobody does.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Boom damn.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Oh, that's not the that's not how I know the lyrics.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Way back.
- 50:44Speaker 1: That's a that's an old Chapman era.
- 50:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that was pre that was before I was even born.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Probably that was before any of us were born.
- 50:52Speaker 9: Uh.
- 50:53Speaker 1: And just a couple more birthdays today that are Halloween birthdays.
- 50:56Speaker 1: We've got uh from the Beastie Boys, Adam Horrovitz. If
- 51:01Speaker 1: you think of Vanilla Ice made you feel old, Adam Horovitz,
- 51:04Speaker 1: It's gonna make you feel old as well. He's fifty
- 51:05Speaker 1: eight today. Rob Schneider from comedy, from Adam Sandler films,
- 51:13Speaker 1: and from alt right websites. He is sixty one today.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Dermott Noulroney, who's got one of the great names in Hollywood,
- 51:21Speaker 1: he is sixty one today. He is from my best
- 51:25Speaker 1: friend's wedding with Julia Roberts. He was in the wedding
- 51:29Speaker 1: date with Different Messing. He was the dad in Insidious three,
- 51:33Speaker 1: so a Halloween tie in there. And I will fully
- 51:36Speaker 1: admit I have not seen most of the newer Halloween films,
- 51:39Speaker 1: like the Insidious movies, I have not seen. I have
- 51:42Speaker 1: not seen Annabelle. But I will admit freely and I've
- 51:45Speaker 1: told the guys in the treeouts this enough that I've
- 51:47Speaker 1: seen most of the Jason Friday the Thirteenth films, including
- 51:50Speaker 1: the one where he goes to space.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Oh hey, the space one.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Don't knock it, man, Oh I don't knock it. I
- 51:55Speaker 1: love it deep in my heart. It's one of those
- 51:58Speaker 1: movies that's so bad that it crosses the bad threshold.
- 52:01Speaker 1: And I love it.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Yes, And I'm like, I'm here for anything that's like that.
- 52:05Speaker 2: The worst horror movies in existence are some of the greatest.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Yes, because you get some of the most funny creative kills.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Because I a'll go through my Halloween searches, you know,
- 52:16Speaker 1: this time of year, and I've done it over the
- 52:18Speaker 1: last couple of days. Some of my favorite kills from
- 52:21Speaker 1: Jason ye are in the later installments, like in Jason
- 52:27Speaker 1: eight Jason takes Manhattan. He lets this one kid punch
- 52:31Speaker 1: him a bunch of times because he's a boxer, and
- 52:33Speaker 1: he gets his hopes up, but he can't knock Jason out,
- 52:35Speaker 1: and then he eventually just says, because he's got bloody
- 52:37Speaker 1: knuckles and he's tired, you take your best shot. Jason
- 52:40Speaker 1: grabs him by his jersey like he's a hockey player,
- 52:42Speaker 1: uper cuts his head off the roof, down the fire
- 52:46Speaker 1: escape and into a waiting dumpster. Now that was from
- 52:48Speaker 1: part eight, but from Jason x Jason ten where he
- 52:51Speaker 1: goes to space. He starts out freezing a chick's face
- 52:54Speaker 1: and smashes it on the corner of a table.
- 52:57Speaker 3: That is hands down the best.
- 52:59Speaker 1: That is freakishly awesome, and that set the tone. Yeah,
- 53:03Speaker 1: and then even though it was a hologram, he took
- 53:06Speaker 1: the hologram girl who's of course naked, and another hologram
- 53:10Speaker 1: girl who is naked, and they're both doing drugs, and
- 53:12Speaker 1: of course they say it because it's a hologram. They're
- 53:13Speaker 1: trying to distract Jason so they can make an escape,
- 53:15Speaker 1: and they both crawl into sleeping bags and he zips
- 53:17Speaker 1: them up in the sleeping bag. He grabs one and
- 53:19Speaker 1: kills them by hitting each other with the sleep The
- 53:22Speaker 1: girls in the sleeping bag or is a very misogynistic
- 53:26Speaker 1: way of putting it is he killed one bitch with
- 53:28Speaker 1: another bitch. Yes, it's hologram murder. Yeah. And then one
- 53:33Speaker 1: of my other ones. I think this was in Freddy
- 53:35Speaker 1: Versus Jason. He just folded a dude up in a mattress.
- 53:39Speaker 10: Yeah, backwards.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I mean I think that was after he stabbed him
- 53:42Speaker 1: through the cushion with the machete. It's like, really, now,
- 53:44Speaker 1: you're just kind of running up the score.
- 53:47Speaker 10: I thoroughly enjoyed that movie Freddy Versus Jason. Oh yeah,
- 53:51Speaker 10: did you go in?
- 53:52Speaker 1: I could see you Jerry going in with a foam
- 53:54Speaker 1: finger for Freddy or Jay?
- 53:56Speaker 6: Like whit?
- 53:57Speaker 1: Who whose team were you on? Who are you cheering for?
- 53:59Speaker 1: In that one?
- 54:00Speaker 5: Oh?
- 54:00Speaker 10: Freddie Freddy? Yeah, Freddie's my dude.
- 54:03Speaker 3: I like Freddy too. I'm a big fan of Freddy.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Is it because he's got such a sparkling and fun personality?
- 54:08Speaker 1: He really does. He does kind of remind you of
- 54:11Speaker 1: morning radio.
- 54:13Speaker 10: And he's the best dressed of any of the Psycho killers.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Right. I would wear that sweater on a regular Wednesday.
- 54:19Speaker 10: Right, right? That Fedora Yeah, slick man swave.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I'm onto something here, Like Freddy might
- 54:27Speaker 1: have been a Morning show DJ because he was on
- 54:30Speaker 1: the radio because he was a burn victim and he
- 54:33Speaker 1: you don't want to sleep around.
- 54:34Speaker 9: Him, even he would disavow the segment.
- 54:40Speaker 1: With one middle finger blade.
- 54:46Speaker 7: You're in there. This is online on Treehouse on Air
- 54:53Speaker 7: dot com.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Yeah, Freddie would hate birthdays because no one ever gave
- 54:56Speaker 1: him a birthday.
- 54:57Speaker 5: Case you're in the tree house.
- 55:13Speaker 7: Visit us online at Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Be sure to check us out on social media as well.
- 55:19Speaker 1: It's at Treehouse on Air. It is at Treehouse on Air.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Back inside the Treehouse with Rebecca Black from Haunted AF
- 55:27Speaker 1: podcast that you can also find on social media. Just
- 55:29Speaker 1: search Haunted AF pod, Haunted AF podcast, or you also
- 55:33Speaker 1: search for Rebecca Black Rebecca with a K because she's cool,
- 55:36Speaker 1: all right, So you seem to be down on yourself, Rebecca,
- 55:40Speaker 1: I thought that the scary ping Pong story was good.
- 55:44Speaker 1: So here's opportunity to number two if you can share
- 55:47Speaker 1: with us. It doesn't even be the full story if you,
- 55:51Speaker 1: you know, don't want to be but just a little
- 55:52Speaker 1: snippet of one of your more memorable recent haunted stories
- 55:56Speaker 1: from Haunted AF.
- 55:58Speaker 2: We had a lady who was I guess you know,
- 56:00Speaker 2: when you're asleep and you let your feet kind of
- 56:02Speaker 2: hang out from under the cover sometimes.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the temperature regulator.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Yeah right, I agree with you.
- 56:08Speaker 2: But like a lot of people won't do it for
- 56:10Speaker 2: fear that something is going to get them in the
- 56:12Speaker 2: middle of the night and like pull them off the
- 56:13Speaker 2: bed or whatever. So there was an incident with a
- 56:16Speaker 2: woman where she had some sort of a ghost tickle
- 56:20Speaker 2: on her toes.
- 56:22Speaker 1: You don't like that, No, ill doing? No, I know,
- 56:25Speaker 1: I look, I don't. I've experienced that.
- 56:30Speaker 3: No, Okay, well I'm going to need to know that
- 56:32Speaker 3: story right now.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Well, I think it's just because my foot fell asleep,
- 56:39Speaker 1: or it could have been a ghost with a feather.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I don't, I don't know.
- 56:42Speaker 2: There is a complete difference between feet falling asleep. Feel
- 56:45Speaker 2: that is a tingle and a tickle where somebody's gone.
- 56:49Speaker 3: That's different feeling.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, okay, Now when you make the noise like that,
- 56:53Speaker 1: I can feel it differently. Yes, okay, okay, now I'm
- 56:56Speaker 1: with you.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Yeah, So ghost tickles are always kind of creepy.
- 56:58Speaker 2: I always love the ones where anybody getting touched or
- 57:00Speaker 2: poked or anything like that. Oddly enough, we have a
- 57:03Speaker 2: lot of like ghosts like to show up during those
- 57:07Speaker 2: intimate moments, like.
- 57:09Speaker 3: During sexy Time.
- 57:10Speaker 2: We had one lady this is way back like in
- 57:12Speaker 2: season one, where as soon as her and her husband
- 57:14Speaker 2: would turn out the lights and you know, get ready
- 57:16Speaker 2: to go to town or whatever, that ghost would flip
- 57:19Speaker 2: the lights on in the middle of their action and
- 57:21Speaker 2: they would have to like reset and.
- 57:25Speaker 9: Are over.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I guess back to places right, like and.
- 57:29Speaker 3: Scene, let's do it again, guys.
- 57:32Speaker 1: But well, I don't know. I don't know that would
- 57:34Speaker 1: you if you're in that situation, would you prefer the
- 57:36Speaker 1: lights turning on on their own? Or do you want
- 57:38Speaker 1: the tickle?
- 57:40Speaker 3: Well, I think if you're in sexy time, tickle, right.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I would think, so we're going to add.
- 57:45Speaker 3: To the ambiance that you already got going on.
- 57:47Speaker 9: Right, I think it depends where that tickle is.
- 57:50Speaker 1: It's not and actually it's not necessarily where the tickle is.
- 57:54Speaker 1: It's just whether or not you can see who's doing
- 57:56Speaker 1: the tickling. True, it's a little from column A, a
- 58:02Speaker 1: little from columb right.
- 58:04Speaker 3: Right, But I guess I'll have to tell you guys
- 58:06Speaker 3: really quickly.
- 58:07Speaker 2: One of my favorite stories that we've ever had, and
- 58:09Speaker 2: this actually this one. We talked to the lady who
- 58:12Speaker 2: had happened to and she made like national news, and
- 58:14Speaker 2: she had a haunted Elsa doll, like you know from Frozen,
- 58:19Speaker 2: Like it was one of her kid's toys and it talked,
- 58:22Speaker 2: and her kids marked all over its face with a marker.
- 58:25Speaker 2: So she one day she's like, clearly they don't want
- 58:27Speaker 2: to play with it anymore, let's throw it out.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Puts it in the trash, goes off with the garbage man.
- 58:34Speaker 3: And two weeks later.
- 58:35Speaker 2: They come back from vacation and she's looking for the
- 58:38Speaker 2: stockings to put up for Christmas and she opens like
- 58:41Speaker 2: one of those cabinets that you have at the foot
- 58:43Speaker 2: of the bed, you know, where all the stocking stuff goes,
- 58:46Speaker 2: And when she pops it open, pulls out a couple
- 58:48Speaker 2: of things, and that haunted Elsa doll was inside the cabinet,
- 58:54Speaker 2: right y. So of course Julie and I are like, okay,
- 58:58Speaker 2: but is it like your husband playing a par on
- 59:00Speaker 2: you or something? And she's like, I we got into
- 59:03Speaker 2: an argument about it. Both of us are swearing up
- 59:05Speaker 2: and down that neither one of us has touched the
- 59:06Speaker 2: stall all that good stuff. So she's like, just to
- 59:08Speaker 2: test it out. They're gonna do it again. They double rampant,
- 59:12Speaker 2: put it in the trash hand, walk it to the curb,
- 59:16Speaker 2: watched the garbage man take it off and away, and
- 59:19Speaker 2: a big storm had hit in Houston, so they had
- 59:22Speaker 2: lost power and all that kind of stuff. And when
- 59:24Speaker 2: they came back home to assess the damage, guess what, Elsa,
- 59:28Speaker 2: the one with the marked up face, is sitting on
- 59:31Speaker 2: their back porch just hanging out.
- 59:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:38Speaker 2: No, I will say she did finally end up sending
- 59:45Speaker 2: it off to like one of her comedian friends, who
- 59:47Speaker 2: ended up putting it on the bumper of his jeep,
- 59:49Speaker 2: which I don't.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Necessarily think is a great idea because now your deep
- 59:52Speaker 3: might be hammed.
- 59:54Speaker 2: But then she followed up with us like a year
- 59:56Speaker 2: or so later, and her son had a imaginary friend
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: named Luca that he would talk to and they would
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: catch creepy voices happening in the house and they were like, Okay, well,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: we don't we don't like the fact that he's got
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: a friend named Luca, Like, what's that about. And then
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: she started getting snapchats in the middle of the night
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: pictures on her phone of the back of her son's head.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Yeah right right.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Like creepy voices, imaginary friend named Luca. And then why
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: on earth is she getting snapchats at like two am
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: up the back of her head, of our son's head
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: while he's sleeping.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: See, this is why we don't do a haunted show.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I can't handle this. That is okay, No, I think
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: that's too freaky for me. I didn't realize how how
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: easily scared I got into you, do you, Rebecca?
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sorry. I love you, though I think I.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Love you back, I don't really know, right, No, check
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: out with me tomorrow. Well, now I have another reason
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: not to be on snapchat. It just sounds to me
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: like it's a good warning of to be, you know,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: picky about your social platforms.
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: Yeah, I agree.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: I agree, it's haunted.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Let's go back to giggles and things like laughter and fun.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Let's do that. I'm tired of Halloween. The problem is, though,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: it is then tomorrow we got Dia delos mortis. Yeah,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: that's more of like a celebration thing, right.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: That's like, that's like honoring those that you've lost.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: It's just another excuse for us to you know, take
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: tequitla shots. Yeah, yeah, I swear I'm not making this up.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: There's a coffee shop we went into today. There's a
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: flyer up for a bar that was doing a Dia
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Delos Martos party. It was kids face painting and everything
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: from three thirty to five, and then from seven pm
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: on it was it was a patron and Medelo's that's you.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Hey, there are a wide range of audience there.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: That is that is very true. But I don't think
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I remember bartenders in Coco, the movie. No No, although
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: now I'm really gonna look at Elsa and Frozen in
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: an all new way. Although it does remind me that
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I'm glad I don't have kids or anyone that I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: don't know anyone that has, uh, you know, Santa aged children,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: because then that way I don't have to worry about
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the elf on a shelf, because elf on a shelf
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: creeps me out.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, totally.
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: Now I know what to get you.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I've really got to stop being vulnerable always backfires. Rebecca
