- 0:14Speaker 1: This morning, I will start giving you a whole new perspective on who you are.
- 0:20Speaker 1: We define the word of God today, who you are.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I will start giving you a whole new perspective on who you are.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Many have received him to them.
- 0:43Speaker 1: He gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in his name John 1.12,.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But as many have received him to them, he gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in his name.
- 1:05Speaker 1: What a beautiful passage of scripture.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Which means anyone, anyone who put their faith in Jesus.
- 1:18Speaker 1: You are the child of the Most High, your children of God.
- 1:35Speaker 1: You are the child of El Shaddai for Hallelujah.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Get a new perspective this day and this morning and understand and I am redefining it for you today from the word of God that you are not a servant of God, you are not a king, queen or a princess of God.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You are a child of God and don't be mistaken or misguided by anything else.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And there is a very big difference between being a servant and a king, queen or a princess and being a child.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Let me tell you that, and any of you who are listening and have children, you will know this.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You will know how much you are willing to do for your child.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You will know and you do know, and I have an almost two year old son and I know that I am willing to do anything for him and I am willing to do everything for him and everything about him matters to me.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So, even if his temperature will rise a little bit, or to having even a slight cough or a sniffle, or to every time he even falls down and bumps his head or his knee, and I want to tell you this morning that Jesus loves you and he gave up his life on a cross for you.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And if you think that he's only in the larger things that concern you, you are wrong this morning and you have to tell someone this that he's into the smallest and smallest of details that concern you and you are his child and he loves you.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Hallelujah, and understand that this morning and redefine it for yourself.
- 4:11Speaker 1: If you ever thought anything else, you are the child of the Most High and, yes, he is absolutely into the smallest of details that concern you.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And today I want to share with you something from a psalm of David, and David was called a man.
- 4:31Speaker 1: In the Bible.
- 4:34Speaker 1: God calls David a man after my own heart, hallelujah.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So David knew something, and there are some psalms that are considered as golden psalms or precious psalms, and this is one of them, and I'm going directly into Psalm 161.
- 5:00Speaker 1: It says preserve me, o God, for in you I put my trust.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Preserve me, o God, for in you I put my trust.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Oh, put your trust in the Lord today.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Oh, put your trust in the Most High, just like King David did and most of you who are listening have probably already done that and praise God for that.
- 5:26Speaker 1: And today, understanding that you are his child, know that he will more than preserve you.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I told you there's a very big difference between treating somebody who's a king or a queen, or a princess or a servant.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's a very different thing as compared to treating a child, and you are his child.
- 5:55Speaker 1: This morning, through the word of God, and I told you, you can go back and mark John 1-12 in your Bible, because it categorically tells you this morning that if you put your trust in him, you are the child of the Most High.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Oh, preserve me, o God, for in you I put my trust, and I want to tell you he will more than preserve you.
- 6:22Speaker 1: He will more than preserve you.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Today.
- 6:29Speaker 1: The second verse says O my soul, o my soul.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You have said to the Lord you are my Lord.
- 6:37Speaker 1: My goodness is nothing apart from you, oh hallelujah.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Jesus is our Lord, and what can be better than Jesus being at your side?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Nothing is better than Jesus directing your path and watching over every step that you take.
- 7:09Speaker 1: My goodness, there's nothing apart from you, oh hallelujah.
- 7:17Speaker 1: There's nothing better than the muscle, oh hallelujah.
- 7:27Speaker 1: The fifth and the sixth verse says oh Lord, you are the portion of my inheritance and my cup.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You maintain my lot.
- 7:46Speaker 1: The lions have fallen to me in pleasant places.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Amen.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yes, I have a good inheritance, hallelujah.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Oh Lord, you are my portion.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You maintain my lot.
- 8:06Speaker 1: The lions have fallen to me in pleasant places.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Yes, I have a good inheritance.
- 8:12Speaker 1: God is your inheritance and your source.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I told you before I even got into the psalm.
- 8:22Speaker 1: The Bible calls David.
- 8:24Speaker 1: God called David a man of his own heart, and David knew something, and he knew everything about God.
- 8:33Speaker 1: He had a deep relationship with God.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And how beautiful is this fifth and sixth verse.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Oh Lord, you are the portion of my inheritance and my cup.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You maintain my lot.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Hallelujah, the lions have fallen to me in pleasant places, amen.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yes, I have a good inheritance and God is your inheritance and your source.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Oh, god will maintain and keep what is yours.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You are under his refuge.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I want to tell you, god is directing you apart today because you are his child and your lions have fallen into pleasant places, amen.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Because you are his child and you put your faith in Jesus.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Because you are his child and you put your faith in Jesus, god is your inheritance and your source.
- 9:45Speaker 1: And God maintains what is yours, not you, not anyone else, not circumstances and situations and investments that you make.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Oh, no, god maintains your lot and your lions have fallen into pleasant places because of your inheritance.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Now, and, yes, you do have a good inheritance.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, oh hallelujah.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Some 167 says I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel, and my heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Oh, I will bless the Lord who has also given me counsel.
- 10:34Speaker 1: My heart instructs me in the night season.
- 10:36Speaker 1: The Lord's counsel is always with you, he instructs us and he helps us at all times.
- 10:46Speaker 1: And I want to tell you today and this is for someone here is sometimes, when you seek an answer from God.
- 10:59Speaker 1: You think you are not getting one.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You think you are not.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I have asked so many times, but I don't hear an answer.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I have asked, believe me.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I have asked, but I don't hear an answer.
- 11:13Speaker 1: But I want to tell you something this morning and I want to give you a secret.
- 11:19Speaker 1: And there is this time, from the time of Prophet Elijah, where the Bible says that every prophet on the planet has been put to the sword, which means they have been killed, and the only one left is Elijah.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Every prophet of God has been put to the sword, which means they have been killed, and they are running from this lady who is called Jezebel and she is playing her games to ensure that all of them are caught and killed.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And the only one that is left is Elijah and I won't get into the details of that, but I will tell you this.
- 12:02Speaker 1: And he is hiding in a cave and, by the way, he is led by God into that mountain, into that cave in the mountain, and the Bible says he is hiding in a cave in the mountain and God asks him what are you doing here?
- 12:18Speaker 1: And then the Lord says to Elijah go out and stand before the Lord, oh, hallelujah.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And the Bible says.
- 12:46Speaker 1: The Bible says the Lord passed by the mountain, oh, hallelujah, oh, the Lord passed by the mountain.
- 12:54Speaker 1: And a great and strong and this, if you ever want to read it or you want to know about it, in the first Kings, the 19th chapter, the 11th verse onwards and a great and a strong wind tore into the mountain and broke the rocks into pieces before the Lord.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And the Bible says but the Lord was not in the wind.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And after the wind, an earthquake came, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.
- 13:25Speaker 1: And then, after the earthquake, comes a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
- 13:34Speaker 1: And after the fire, a still small voice oh, hallelujah, oh, hallelujah, oh.
- 13:49Speaker 1: The Lord speaks to Elijah and he summons Elijah and he calls him out of the cave.
- 13:53Speaker 1: And there's winds that tear the mountain apart and there's an earthquake that shakes the ground and there's fire, and yet, after all that, the Lord was not in any of those things.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And after the fire, a still small voice oh, you always have His counsel.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you this morning, hallelujah, you always have His counsel and he will always answer you, but not in the noise and the clutter of the world, and not in the way that you expect Him to make loud thunder and come and speak to you in a booming voice.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Oh, no, he will speak to you in a still small voice.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Oh, he will speak to you through His Spirit that he has given you, who is always at your right hand.
- 14:46Speaker 1: He will speak to you in that voice.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Hallelujah, oh hallelujah.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I will bless the Lord who gives me counsel.
- 14:56Speaker 1: My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Oh, he's always with you.
- 15:01Speaker 1: But if you're seeking that answer from Him, let me tell you he's that still small voice.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Oh, you know the answer.
- 15:09Speaker 1: It's there in you.
- 15:10Speaker 1: You clearly know it, hallelujah.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Psalm 16, 8 and 9 says I have set the Lord always before me.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah, because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Therefore, my heart is glad and my glory rejoices.
- 15:34Speaker 1: My flesh also will rest in hope.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah.
- 15:40Speaker 1: What a beautiful passage of scripture.
- 15:41Speaker 1: What a beautiful Psalm.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Oh, leave everything at His feet.
- 15:45Speaker 1: This morning.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Let Him go before you.
- 15:49Speaker 1: The Bible says he will make every crooked path straight.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I have always set the Lord before me, says David, I told you he knew something about God.
- 16:00Speaker 1: The Bible says I will go before you and make every crooked path straight.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Hallelujah, because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Oh, he is at your right hand and nothing will move you.
- 16:13Speaker 1: The creator of heaven and earth is at your right hand.
- 16:17Speaker 1: What will move you?
- 16:18Speaker 1: Your situation might seem seemingly impossible, but believe me, it's through your worldly wisdom.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Nothing will move you.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Our hope is in Him.
- 16:32Speaker 1: My flesh also will rest in hope.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Oh, your body, your flesh.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Oh, what a beautiful Psalm.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Your flesh will rest in hope.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Your body will rest knowing and you should know that God is in control and you can rest in Him.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You will take refuge in Him, hallelujah.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Psalm 1610 says and the 11th verse says for you will not leave my soul in shore.
- 17:01Speaker 1: No, will you allow your Holy One to seek corruption?
- 17:06Speaker 1: You will show me the path of life in your presence as fullness of joy at your right hand, of pleasures forevermore, amen.
- 17:19Speaker 1: The Bible says he will never leave you nor forsake you.
- 17:22Speaker 1: He will never abandon you.
- 17:27Speaker 1: He will guide your path in life, and with him is joy.
- 17:34Speaker 1: He will guide you through every situation in life, and with him is joy.
- 17:45Speaker 1: The Bible in Proverbs says the blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and David knew this.
- 17:51Speaker 1: The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and he adds no sorrow with it.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah, the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and he adds no sorrow to it.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And I told you David knew God at another level, for you will not leave me, nor will you allow your holy one to see corruption, which means destruction, in other words, or decay.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Oh, david knew these things will not even touch him, and you will show me the path of life in your presence as fullness of joy, oh hallelujah.
- 18:25Speaker 1: And at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Oh hallelujah, the fullness of joy will follow you all the days of your life, and God's pleasures in abundance forevermore.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Oh, just leave everything at his feet, oh, hallelujah.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Just leave everything at his feet this beautiful morning.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Go ahead, take some time, open Psalm 16 and read it and know fully well, with this disclaimer, that I am here to give you this morning, john 1, 12 says but as many as received him to them he gave the right to become children of God To those who believe in his name, and once you are his child and once you leave everything at his feet.
- 19:17Speaker 1: You are his child and you leave everything at his feet.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Oh, he will take control of everything.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Oh, he will step in.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Oh, he will cover you in his shield.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Oh, he will put his wings over you when need be.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Oh, he will raise a standard before you.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Oh, hallelujah.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Thank you for this beautiful time.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I thank you for the double edged sword.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I thank you for this beautiful Psalm.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I thank you, lord.
- 19:50Speaker 1: You know your people, whatever situations they might be in.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Lord, I thank you, lord, that you will go ahead and make every crooked path straight.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I thank you, lord, that you are watching over your work to perform it.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And I thank you, lord, for this beautiful day that you have set for us, lord, where you will lead us and our lines have fallen into pleasant places, lord, because we put our trust in you.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Thank you, lord, for this beautiful day.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Thank you for your beautiful word, thank you for your presence that's on this platform.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Thank you, lord.
- 20:28Speaker 1: In Jesus name, I pray Amen.
