- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, you guys. I'm Haley and I'm Andrea, and
- 0:03Speaker 1: this is Inhuman Okay, So Andrea, you already know what
- 0:07Speaker 1: case I'm covering today. I am excited to cover this
- 0:12Speaker 1: case because I actually didn't know a lot about it,
- 0:16Speaker 1: even though I knew more about it than some other cases.
- 0:19Speaker 1: And I feel like I have heard it told on
- 0:21Speaker 1: a couple other like podcasts that I listened to, but
- 0:24Speaker 1: not many. I feel like it's not as like quote
- 0:27Speaker 1: unquote popular, you know, right, as some crime cases. So
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'm excited to kind of get it out there, especially
- 0:34Speaker 1: because it is still unsolved, and you know, you never
- 0:38Speaker 1: know what sharing can get you, right, and it is
- 0:41Speaker 1: a pretty big case.
- 0:42Speaker 2: So to not have a ton of podcasts cover it,
- 0:45Speaker 2: it's kind of shocking because it is.
- 0:46Speaker 1: To me, it's a huge case. But exactly I know.
- 0:50Speaker 1: So today we're going to be talking about the snapchat
- 0:54Speaker 1: murders as some people know it, or the murder of
- 0:57Speaker 1: Abigail Williams and Liberty German in Delphi, Indiana. And I
- 1:02Speaker 1: did double check with my friends that live in Indiana
- 1:04Speaker 1: that it's Delphi. I was pretty sure, but I wanted
- 1:07Speaker 1: to double check. I sent a voice message to my
- 1:09Speaker 1: friend last night. I was like, is it Delphi? And
- 1:12Speaker 1: she was like, yeah, don't worry. And the reason I
- 1:15Speaker 1: wanted to cover this case specifically was because I was
- 1:18Speaker 1: actually living in Indiana when this happened, so he didn't know.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I went to Purdue University, which is in Indiana, and
- 1:25Speaker 1: this actually happened the winter of my sophomore year at Purdue,
- 1:30Speaker 1: so I was living on campus in West Lafayette and
- 1:33Speaker 1: Delphi is like about a thirty minute drive from West Lafayette,
- 1:38Speaker 1: and I actually knew somebody who worked in the business
- 1:41Speaker 1: school office who actually like lived and commuted from Delphi,
- 1:46Speaker 1: so like it wasn't just the next town over. I
- 1:48Speaker 1: actually knew somebody who lived there, and it was, you know,
- 1:52Speaker 1: a little too close for comfort. Thirty minutes is not far,
- 1:57Speaker 1: so like I remember hearing about this and kind of
- 2:00Speaker 1: watching it unfold from when the girls went missing to
- 2:04Speaker 1: when they found their bodies, and we were like kind
- 2:07Speaker 1: of freaked out because they didn't know who did it,
- 2:09Speaker 1: they didn't have anybody like in custody. It really wasn't
- 2:13Speaker 1: that far from where we were, so, you know, it
- 2:18Speaker 1: it stuck with me because obviously because I was there
- 2:22Speaker 1: and I actually like wasn't really into true crime back
- 2:26Speaker 1: when I first heard about it. I didn't really get
- 2:28Speaker 1: into true crime till after I graduated college, So I
- 2:32Speaker 1: of course knew like some of the details and like
- 2:34Speaker 1: saw some of the news reports, but other than that,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I didn't really like it built exactly, and you know,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I would like chat about it with my friends, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: because I wasn't, like, I hadn't found true crime podcasts
- 2:47Speaker 1: or documentaries really or anything yet. So now that I'm
- 2:51Speaker 1: like totally a true crime fanatic, I was like all
- 2:54Speaker 1: in with the research on this to learn about more
- 2:57Speaker 1: of the details, and it just like I learned so
- 3:01Speaker 1: much that I didn't know even though I was literally
- 3:03Speaker 1: in a town thirty minutes from where this happened. That's
- 3:06Speaker 1: so crazy, I know. And I am going to just
- 3:09Speaker 1: give a trigger warning because this is about kids. These
- 3:12Speaker 1: girls were young, so just you know, it's always I mean,
- 3:16Speaker 1: it's hard to tell any story, but especially when they're kids,
- 3:18Speaker 1: it's it's a little harder. Yeah, I agree. Yeah, so
- 3:23Speaker 1: let's get into it. Abigail Williams was thirteen years old
- 3:26Speaker 1: and Liberty German was fourteen years old when they vanished
- 3:29Speaker 1: on February thirteenth, twenty seventeen. Abigail or Abby Williams was
- 3:34Speaker 1: born June twenty third, two thousand and three, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I probably said that wrong, but she was born in Michigan.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And also is just crazy to me that like people
- 3:43Speaker 1: were born in two thousand and three, Like.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I know when you said that, Wow, Like she's a baby,
- 3:50Speaker 2: like a baby baby.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah. And then Liberty or Libby German was born on
- 3:55Speaker 1: December twenty seventh, two thousand and two, in Lafayette, Indiana,
- 3:59Speaker 1: which is actually the town right outside of where Purdue is.
- 4:03Speaker 1: So they were both originally from the Midwest, and they
- 4:05Speaker 1: were both now living in Delphi with their families. The
- 4:08Speaker 1: girls were friends, both attending Delphi Community Middle School, where
- 4:12Speaker 1: they played saxophone and volleyball together. Monday, February thirteenth, twenty
- 4:17Speaker 1: seventeen was a snow day and the girls had had
- 4:20Speaker 1: a sleepover at Libby's house. I kind of switched back
- 4:24Speaker 1: and forth between Liberty and Libby in my notes because
- 4:28Speaker 1: at first I was using Libby, but then one of
- 4:31Speaker 1: the sources I was using kept calling her Liberty, so
- 4:33Speaker 1: I was like, oh, maybe she went more by Liberty,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but then they switched over to Libby, so I mostly
- 4:39Speaker 1: used Libby but to try to keep it consistent. But
- 4:42Speaker 1: just like if I ever step up, like or what's
- 4:46Speaker 1: the word, like, trip on over my words? Yeah, yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 1: that's that's why. So they had a sleepover at Libby's
- 4:54Speaker 1: house the night before because they knew the next day
- 4:56Speaker 1: was going to be a snow day, and they slept
- 4:58Speaker 1: in that morning after being up late during their sleepover.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You know, typical teenage girls having to sleepover if you
- 5:05Speaker 1: sleep at all. Yeah, exactly. And Libby's father, Derek, made
- 5:12Speaker 1: them pancakes for breakfast around ten am on Monday the thirteenth,
- 5:17Speaker 1: and Libby was actually in the primary care of her
- 5:20Speaker 1: dad's parents. I couldn't figure out like why, and her
- 5:24Speaker 1: mom was never mentioned, so I don't know something happened
- 5:27Speaker 1: to her mom or what, but I just like, I
- 5:30Speaker 1: didn't go too deep into that because I wanted to
- 5:32Speaker 1: go into other, you know, research form. But he tells you, Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 1: but she was in the care of her grandparents and
- 5:41Speaker 1: they all lived in her grandparents' house together, so I'm
- 5:44Speaker 1: pretty sure her dad lived there with his parents and
- 5:48Speaker 1: then his daughter, but she was technically in the primary
- 5:51Speaker 1: care of her grandparents, so her grandma Becky was home
- 5:54Speaker 1: with the girls after Derek left for work, and she
- 5:58Speaker 1: told them that she'd give them some money and take
- 6:00Speaker 1: them out shopping if they helped her with some of
- 6:02Speaker 1: her filing work. So they did that, and then around
- 6:05Speaker 1: one pm when they were done, they asked Becky if
- 6:08Speaker 1: they could go to the monin I think it's m
- 6:14Speaker 1: non monan, I would thinkin That's what I would say, right, Okay,
- 6:19Speaker 1: you people can correct me if I'm wrong. So they
- 6:23Speaker 1: asked if they could go to the moanin high Bridge
- 6:26Speaker 1: Trail and so this was like in a park not
- 6:28Speaker 1: too far from where they lived, so they wanted to
- 6:31Speaker 1: just go like walk around, take pictures, stuff like that,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and Becky agreed, but she couldn't give them a ride,
- 6:36Speaker 1: so Libby asked her sister Kelsey to drive them. And
- 6:40Speaker 1: before I move on, I just want to note I
- 6:41Speaker 1: found an awesome timeline of this case on a website
- 6:44Speaker 1: called Actus Rheus, which is like a big form forum
- 6:49Speaker 1: of like a ton of crime cases and info on them.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So I'll have that linked down in the show notes.
- 6:53Speaker 1: And there's like photos and maps and stuff that I'm
- 6:56Speaker 1: going to be explaining, and that all comes from that website,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and a lot of them all also post on our Instagram,
- 7:02Speaker 1: so you can kind of go look at that as
- 7:04Speaker 1: you're listening to get a better sense because there's a
- 7:06Speaker 1: lot of like movement around a park in this case.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But that website is awesome and has a lot of
- 7:13Speaker 1: the details. That was the main source that I used
- 7:17Speaker 1: for all of my research because it was really well done.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So around one thirty PM, Kelsey picked up the girls
- 7:23Speaker 1: to take them to the bridge, and we know the
- 7:25Speaker 1: girls were dropped off at some point after one thirty
- 7:28Speaker 1: eight because Kelsey was on the phone with her boyfriend
- 7:31Speaker 1: when dropping them off, and the phone records show that
- 7:34Speaker 1: that call began at one thirty eight, so you know
- 7:36Speaker 1: it was sometime like early afternoon. She dropped them off
- 7:39Speaker 1: and didn't report anything suspicious that you know, she didn't
- 7:43Speaker 1: see anything suspicious. It was just the normal park. And
- 7:46Speaker 1: around that time, Libby called her dad to see if
- 7:49Speaker 1: he could drive them home, and he said he could
- 7:51Speaker 1: pick them up after work, which would likely be around
- 7:54Speaker 1: three or three thirty, so there wasn't a set time,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and Libby's dad said that he would just call her
- 8:00Speaker 1: when he was getting close, and then they'd returned to
- 8:03Speaker 1: the trailhead of the parking area to meet him. So
- 8:06Speaker 1: they had a plan to be picked up and her
- 8:09Speaker 1: dad he knew, you know, she knew like a general time,
- 8:12Speaker 1: but her dad said that he would call when he
- 8:14Speaker 1: was getting close. Okay, guys, the sound might be different
- 8:17Speaker 1: because I realized why my microphone was echoing and I
- 8:21Speaker 1: just moved. So hopefully this sound is better. We are
- 8:24Speaker 1: slowly learning how to podcast. Bear with us where we were.
- 8:28Speaker 1: The girls had a plan to get picked up by
- 8:31Speaker 1: Libby's dad and they began walking the trail. They eventually
- 8:36Speaker 1: made it to the bridge that they wanted to go see.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And the way that I understand it and from maps
- 8:41Speaker 1: and stuff, and again I'll post all the maps on
- 8:44Speaker 1: our Instagram so you can see. It was basically a
- 8:47Speaker 1: big park with like a trail, a couple of like
- 8:50Speaker 1: different trails that went through it, and then there were
- 8:52Speaker 1: a couple of bridges off of those trails. So when
- 8:56Speaker 1: they made it to the bridge, Libby actually uploaded two
- 8:59Speaker 1: different photo to her Snapchat story, which is why a
- 9:01Speaker 1: lot of people refer to this as the Snapchat murders,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and this was around two five to two oh seven pm.
- 9:08Speaker 1: One of the photos was a photo of just like
- 9:11Speaker 1: the bridge itself, you know, one of those like esthetic
- 9:13Speaker 1: photos that I totally would have posted on my Snapchat
- 9:16Speaker 1: story at their age, I honestly probably would still now
- 9:18Speaker 1: sow no judgment, yeah exactly. And then the other one
- 9:22Speaker 1: was a photo of Abby on the bridge. So I'll
- 9:25Speaker 1: post those two photos and it's just like so freaking
- 9:28Speaker 1: eerie knowing what happened shortly after. And there's actually, if
- 9:34Speaker 1: you know anything about this case, there's a video of
- 9:37Speaker 1: a main suspect and I think a lot of people
- 9:40Speaker 1: think that that video was like a Snapchat video, but
- 9:43Speaker 1: it was not, And I think that's why, you know,
- 9:46Speaker 1: beyond the two there being two photos she posted to
- 9:49Speaker 1: her Snapchat story, I think a lot of people call
- 9:52Speaker 1: it the Snapchat murders because they think the video of
- 9:54Speaker 1: the suspect came from Snapchat, but it did not. So
- 9:57Speaker 1: we'll talk more about that, and that's where leave like
- 10:00Speaker 1: the snapchat part out. But yeah, it's just it's very eerie.
- 10:05Speaker 1: We're going to actually now kind of jump ahead to
- 10:07Speaker 1: what happened, starting from when Libby's dad arrived to pick
- 10:11Speaker 1: up the girls. There's not a lot known about what
- 10:14Speaker 1: the girls did except for what we see in that video,
- 10:17Speaker 1: But I'm going to talk about that later when we
- 10:19Speaker 1: kind of talk about the evidence and what they discover
- 10:22Speaker 1: once they find their bodies. They had agreed, like I said,
- 10:26Speaker 1: that he would call when he was coming to get
- 10:28Speaker 1: them and they would meet at the trailhead to be
- 10:30Speaker 1: picked up. And according to phone records, Derek called Libby
- 10:34Speaker 1: at three eleven PM, and he remembers he at that
- 10:38Speaker 1: point was starting to drive over to the park from work,
- 10:41Speaker 1: and Libby didn't pick up, And a few minutes later
- 10:44Speaker 1: he arrived in the parking area and called her again
- 10:47Speaker 1: and also like you know, was looking around the parking
- 10:50Speaker 1: area for them, and again there was no answer, and
- 10:53Speaker 1: Derek was like, it's very unlikely that Libby would ignore
- 10:58Speaker 1: his calls, especially because because she knew that he was
- 11:01Speaker 1: coming to pick them up, right, And so he was,
- 11:05Speaker 1: you know a little bit like worried or just he
- 11:09Speaker 1: was like, okay, like that's weird that she's not picking up.
- 11:11Speaker 1: So instead of just waiting, he decided to park and
- 11:15Speaker 1: go look for the girls on the trail good, which like, oh,
- 11:19Speaker 1: my god, if I was him, I'd be freaking out,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I know. So as Derek started walking, he got to
- 11:24Speaker 1: a point where the trail split off into two trails,
- 11:27Speaker 1: and they are referred to as the five oh one
- 11:29Speaker 1: and the five oh five, And there was actually a
- 11:32Speaker 1: man there, and Derek asked if he had seen the
- 11:36Speaker 1: two girls, and the man told him that he had
- 11:38Speaker 1: not seen anyone on the five oh one trail, but
- 11:41Speaker 1: he had seen some girls on the bridge, So Derek
- 11:45Speaker 1: headed to the five oh five trail. We later learn
- 11:48Speaker 1: that this man was like, I don't know if it's
- 11:51Speaker 1: one hundred percent confirmed, but he was not the same
- 11:55Speaker 1: man that was seen in that cell phone video, and
- 11:58Speaker 1: he did become a key witness in the case, and
- 12:00Speaker 1: media and online discussion outlets dubbed this man flannel shirt
- 12:04Speaker 1: guy because that's what he was wearing that day. So
- 12:08Speaker 1: he became a key witness. And you know, my first
- 12:11Speaker 1: thought was, oh, my god, is that the man in
- 12:12Speaker 1: the video? But I don't think it was, and I
- 12:14Speaker 1: don't think anybody thinks it was.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they were like to shape different shapes
- 12:20Speaker 2: and sizes, which you'll get too.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Later, but right, and he was wearing a flannel shirt
- 12:26Speaker 1: and the man in the video was not so right.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So Derek was walking along the five oh five trail
- 12:31Speaker 1: and you know, looked at the bridge and everything, and
- 12:34Speaker 1: he still didn't see the girls. So he called his mom,
- 12:37Speaker 1: Libby's grandma, Becky, and asked her to try contacting the
- 12:41Speaker 1: girls herself. Becky was actually with Libby's aunt Tara at
- 12:46Speaker 1: the time, and started repeatingly. They both started repeatedly calling
- 12:50Speaker 1: and texting Libby with no response or anything, and Derek
- 12:54Speaker 1: was continuing to search around the park, but he eventually
- 12:57Speaker 1: returned to his car after not finding the girl. I
- 13:01Speaker 1: think when I first heard about this case, I thought
- 13:02Speaker 1: this was like a giant part, But when I was
- 13:04Speaker 1: looking at the map of it, it's not a huge,
- 13:07Speaker 1: huge park, Like you know, there's a couple of trails
- 13:10Speaker 1: and then there's woods off of the trails, but it's
- 13:14Speaker 1: not like some giant, you know park that you might
- 13:17Speaker 1: find like a National park or something exactly. Yeah, Like
- 13:21Speaker 1: there's I feel like there's a lot of parks in
- 13:23Speaker 1: you know, the Midwest area of the country, and some
- 13:28Speaker 1: of them can be really big. This one, at least
- 13:31Speaker 1: according to like the map that I was looking at,
- 13:33Speaker 1: the area that they would have been in was not
- 13:35Speaker 1: that big, so he I think felt like he had
- 13:38Speaker 1: searched it well enough and he was like, Okay, they're
- 13:42Speaker 1: they're obviously not here, right. More of the family started
- 13:46Speaker 1: to get involved as Becky and Derek were kind of
- 13:49Speaker 1: getting worried that something was wrong. Libby's grandfather, Mike, left
- 13:54Speaker 1: work from Lafayette, Indiana, after Becky called him to tell
- 13:58Speaker 1: him something was wrong. Becky we also called Libby's sister, Kelsey,
- 14:02Speaker 1: who was the one who had dropped the girls off,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and so she was able to like delay her work
- 14:07Speaker 1: shift and left her boyfriend's house to meet her dad
- 14:10Speaker 1: at the trail. So all of these different family members
- 14:13Speaker 1: were you know, showing up at the park and they
- 14:16Speaker 1: started searching, and it is noted in reports of that
- 14:21Speaker 1: day that there were several cars and people at the
- 14:24Speaker 1: trail that weren't part of this family, So there were
- 14:27Speaker 1: other people there. It's not like it was just kind
- 14:30Speaker 1: of abandoned, which did honestly kind of surprise me because
- 14:33Speaker 1: it's February in Indiana, which like freezing typically is pretty cold.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But then again, like it might have been a day
- 14:40Speaker 1: that wasn't I mean Indiana doesn't get a ton of snow.
- 14:44Speaker 1: So even though we have like cold temperatures, I say,
- 14:47Speaker 1: we as if I still live there. When I lived there,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I experienced was like we'd have cold temperatures, but it
- 14:53Speaker 1: wouldn't like we wouldn't have snow all that often. So
- 14:56Speaker 1: you know, you put on a jacket and you can
- 14:58Speaker 1: walk around like a part this without having to walk
- 15:02Speaker 1: through snow and stuff like that. So I guess it's
- 15:04Speaker 1: not that surprising. And who knows, Like maybe I couldn't
- 15:07Speaker 1: find any reports like what the weather was actually like
- 15:09Speaker 1: that day, but maybe it was like in the high thirties,
- 15:13Speaker 1: which at that point in the winter is like a
- 15:15Speaker 1: little bit nicer, so maybe people were out for that reason.
- 15:19Speaker 1: The family at this point were kind of thinking that
- 15:22Speaker 1: the girls had somehow gotten hurt and that possibly Libby's
- 15:25Speaker 1: phone had been damaged, you know, if they fell or
- 15:28Speaker 1: something like that, and that was why she wasn't picking up,
- 15:32Speaker 1: and so they all like split up. I think they
- 15:35Speaker 1: mostly went off in like pairs and went in different
- 15:38Speaker 1: directions to keep looking. Kelsey and her uncle Cody went
- 15:42Speaker 1: towards the bridge where the Snapchat photos had been taken,
- 15:46Speaker 1: and they spent about like twenty minutes searching around there
- 15:49Speaker 1: and also yelling the girls' names in the area and towards,
- 15:54Speaker 1: like down a private driveway that was down the hill
- 15:57Speaker 1: from the bridge. So you know, they were like calling
- 15:59Speaker 1: their names, not just looking, because they thought maybe if
- 16:02Speaker 1: they fell fell down a hill or something like that
- 16:06Speaker 1: and they were hurt, they might have not been able
- 16:08Speaker 1: to get back up, and so they were calling their
- 16:10Speaker 1: names to try to like locate them.
- 16:13Speaker 2: So were there reports that maybe her sister saw her
- 16:16Speaker 2: snapchats and knew that that location was somewhere that they
- 16:19Speaker 2: had been.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Yeah, So I don't know at what point Kelsey saw
- 16:23Speaker 1: the snapchats, but later when police were notified, she showed
- 16:27Speaker 1: the police the snapchats before they found their bodies, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: so I don't know if she had seen them before
- 16:34Speaker 1: this or after this, but at some point she did
- 16:38Speaker 1: see them and was aware that they were like for
- 16:40Speaker 1: sure on that bridge at some point. Okay, Becky at
- 16:44Speaker 1: this point was on the phone with AT and T
- 16:46Speaker 1: to try to ping Libby's phone, but AT and T
- 16:49Speaker 1: said that they legally couldn't, which I mean, I get it,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and companies have to follow the rules, but that makes
- 16:55Speaker 1: me mad, like she was a miner, and I'm assuming
- 16:58Speaker 1: that she was on like her parents or grandparents' phone plan, right,
- 17:02Speaker 1: So if the owner of the phone plan was asking
- 17:06Speaker 1: you to ping it, I don't get why it should
- 17:08Speaker 1: be illegal that you can ping it. But you know,
- 17:11Speaker 1: maybe she maybe Becky wasn't the owner of the phone
- 17:14Speaker 1: plan or something like that, but you know, whatever the case,
- 17:18Speaker 1: at this point, they couldn't ping it, and it is
- 17:22Speaker 1: I found some stuff about like later on them trying
- 17:27Speaker 1: to pay it, and it was all kind of confusing
- 17:29Speaker 1: because basically they were saying it was like pinging all
- 17:32Speaker 1: over the city and then looked like it was dead
- 17:35Speaker 1: at some point, But that's kind of what happens with
- 17:38Speaker 1: phone towers, Like just because you're in one location, usually
- 17:42Speaker 1: when you ping a phone, it like triangulates the location, right.
- 17:47Speaker 1: So I don't know if that would have been helpful anyway,
- 17:50Speaker 1: unless like they saw it, you know, moving down a
- 17:53Speaker 1: highway or something like that. But at this point, they
- 17:56Speaker 1: were like trying to do everything they could. And it
- 17:59Speaker 1: was also actually reported that she was trying to do
- 18:02Speaker 1: like a find my iPhone type of thing and she
- 18:07Speaker 1: like thought that if she downloaded it to her phone,
- 18:09Speaker 1: she'd be able to you know, connect it, but then
- 18:14Speaker 1: obviously realized that Libby didn't have it on her phone.
- 18:16Speaker 1: So you know, so this is just your reminder to
- 18:20Speaker 1: share your location. I have my location shared with my
- 18:25Speaker 1: fiance and my sister and my mom and like a
- 18:28Speaker 1: couple of my college friends. So you know, just it's
- 18:31Speaker 1: a good thing to share your location with a couple people.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I share mine with my sisters. Exactly. We should we
- 18:37Speaker 1: should share our locations. Yeah, we should should. I mean,
- 18:41Speaker 1: you know, it's just good to have a couple people,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and especially if you're in college, like share your location
- 18:48Speaker 1: with your friends, because it's just.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Anything can happen. There's been times where I've like walked
- 18:56Speaker 2: to my car alone from like a bar or a
- 18:59Speaker 2: party or whatever, and like, you know, you never know,
- 19:02Speaker 2: people are crazy. Anything could happen, So yeah, better to
- 19:05Speaker 2: be safe than.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Sorry, exactly. And even if it's not for like a
- 19:09Speaker 1: you know, if something bad happens, but if you like
- 19:11Speaker 1: were to get hurt or something like that, you know,
- 19:15Speaker 1: you just never know, and it could be helpful for
- 19:19Speaker 1: somebody to know. What There is a case and I
- 19:22Speaker 1: don't know what it is, but there is a case
- 19:25Speaker 1: where like a girl got into a car accident and
- 19:29Speaker 1: like drove off of like into a body of water
- 19:32Speaker 1: and was like like stuck with her seat belt and stuff,
- 19:37Speaker 1: and she couldn't move, and for like a couple of
- 19:40Speaker 1: days was there, and finally they found her, because it
- 19:44Speaker 1: took them a long time, but finally, like the boyfriend
- 19:48Speaker 1: or husband or somebody was able to get phone records
- 19:51Speaker 1: and could pay it and find like around where she was,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and then they found her. I'll have to see if
- 19:56Speaker 1: I can find that case. I have no clue what
- 19:58Speaker 1: it is. I just remember the remember tearing that. Yeah,
- 20:01Speaker 1: but if they had, if he had had her location,
- 20:04Speaker 1: he would have been able to just go right there. Yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: So so share your location, turn it on, share your location. Yeah.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Better safe than sorry, that's right. So by five twenty pm,
- 20:18Speaker 1: after not hearing from the girls for like over two
- 20:21Speaker 1: hours and not finding them or any traces of them
- 20:25Speaker 1: anywhere in the park, the family called the police and
- 20:28Speaker 1: reported both Libby and Abby missing. And at this point
- 20:32Speaker 1: Abby's mom, Anna hadn't known what was going on. Becky
- 20:36Speaker 1: had been trying to get a hold of her, but
- 20:39Speaker 1: she was like at work, and finally they were able
- 20:42Speaker 1: to connect and then they decided to meet up at
- 20:45Speaker 1: the police station where Mike, Libby's grandfather was, and the
- 20:50Speaker 1: police had actually asked them to come in so that
- 20:52Speaker 1: they could give details and stuff like that, which is
- 20:55Speaker 1: standard procedure for missing persons cases. Right, police started searching
- 20:59Speaker 1: the park and family members were you know, posting on
- 21:03Speaker 1: social media to get their faces out there and ask
- 21:05Speaker 1: for volunteers. And by six pm there were a bunch
- 21:09Speaker 1: of volunteers that had arrived to help search the trail
- 21:12Speaker 1: and the surrounding area. And at this time Libby's sister,
- 21:17Speaker 1: Kelsey had arrived at the police station and she had
- 21:20Speaker 1: then shown them the snapchats. So keep in mind that
- 21:25Speaker 1: at this point they don't have Libby's phone, so they
- 21:27Speaker 1: don't have that video of the man, but they do
- 21:30Speaker 1: have the two photos that were posted on snapchat, and that,
- 21:34Speaker 1: you know, proves that they were at the bridge at
- 21:36Speaker 1: some point. Right, So, hours of searching passed to no
- 21:40Speaker 1: avail and from the actus RHEUS timeline quote, Carroll County
- 21:45Speaker 1: Sheriff Toby Lean's Leansby says in a news release that
- 21:51Speaker 1: there's no reason to suspect foul play or to believe
- 21:54Speaker 1: the girls are in immediate danger. The biggest concern is
- 21:56Speaker 1: exposure to the elements. So I mean, at this time,
- 21:59Speaker 1: they don't have any real reason to suspect foul play.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Like at this point, they're just missing and there's no
- 22:09Speaker 1: like that are yeah, exactly, Okay. The official search was
- 22:15Speaker 1: called off until the morning as it got dark and
- 22:19Speaker 1: it was cold and they're in like nature, so they
- 22:22Speaker 1: have to be careful, but people did continue to search
- 22:25Speaker 1: through the night. The next morning, the story was all
- 22:30Speaker 1: over the news, with reports airing on multiple channels and
- 22:33Speaker 1: news stations, and tons of volunteers were in the area searching.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Sometime between eleven am and twelve pm on Tuesday, February fourteenth,
- 22:43Speaker 1: twenty seventeen, two bodies were found. They were not immediately
- 22:48Speaker 1: identified as Libbyan Abbey. They were found about a half
- 22:52Speaker 1: mile from the end of the bridge and across the creek.
- 22:56Speaker 1: There was a lot of like speculation of the actual location,
- 23:02Speaker 1: but it's never been released, mostly because it's still an
- 23:05Speaker 1: ongoing investigation. But there have been a lot of photos
- 23:09Speaker 1: shared and stuff like that because there was crime scene
- 23:12Speaker 1: tape up, so that's kind of the best guess we have.
- 23:16Speaker 1: It wasn't too far from the bridge and it was
- 23:19Speaker 1: across a creek. This just like breaks my heart. Kelsey
- 23:22Speaker 1: and two others were searching under one of the bridges
- 23:26Speaker 1: when Kelsey heard that they had found the bodies. A
- 23:30Speaker 1: man had found a shoe first, and you know, somebody
- 23:34Speaker 1: had called up saying, we found a shoe. What type
- 23:37Speaker 1: of shoe was Libby wearing? And Kelsey told them and
- 23:41Speaker 1: it was confirmed that it was the same type of
- 23:43Speaker 1: shoe that she was wearing. And then that same person
- 23:46Speaker 1: apparently saw two deer moving and he was kind of
- 23:50Speaker 1: he or she. I don't know if it was a
- 23:51Speaker 1: man or a woman, but they were like looking to
- 23:54Speaker 1: see what was going on, and that's when they saw
- 23:56Speaker 1: the bodies. So I'm kind of confused, but I think
- 23:59Speaker 1: basically they were just searching and saw something going on
- 24:03Speaker 1: taking a closer look, and they found the bodies.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Like someone that was with the search parties or just
- 24:11Speaker 2: a random yeah okay, yeah, okay, gotcha.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And according to an article on the Indie Channel Quote,
- 24:17Speaker 1: the bodies were found on private property about fifty feet
- 24:20Speaker 1: from the shore of Deer Creek. A set of footprints
- 24:23Speaker 1: are what led the volunteers to the area. The bodies
- 24:25Speaker 1: were found. I don't know. The footprints have never been confirmed. Again,
- 24:32Speaker 1: it's an ongoing investigation, so we don't have a ton
- 24:36Speaker 1: of details. But I did see that and wanted to
- 24:40Speaker 1: bring it up because it wouldn't be surprising if there
- 24:43Speaker 1: were footprints around.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Yeah, especially if there was a little bit of snow
- 24:47Speaker 2: still on the ground or muddy right like muddy conditions.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Exactly shortly after, the sheriff announced that the identities had
- 24:56Speaker 1: not been confirmed yet and they were now investigating a
- 24:59Speaker 1: crime scene where they suspected foul play. The next day,
- 25:03Speaker 1: February fifteenth, twenty seventeen, at three pm, a press conference
- 25:07Speaker 1: was held where they confirmed the identity of the bodies
- 25:10Speaker 1: found said they were now investigating the double homicide of
- 25:14Speaker 1: Liberty German and Abigail Williams. So heartbreaking. So that same day,
- 25:20Speaker 1: the police released a still from a video found on
- 25:25Speaker 1: Libby's phone. So now I'm going to talk about that video.
- 25:28Speaker 1: At some point after the snapchat photos were uploaded, the
- 25:32Speaker 1: girls had been walking around and they noticed a man
- 25:36Speaker 1: behind them, so Libby started taking a video on her phone.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It's never been actually like proven if she started the
- 25:44Speaker 1: video because of the man or just because. But the
- 25:47Speaker 1: Carroll County Sheriff, Toby Leansby did say it appeared that
- 25:52Speaker 1: they did start recording as a precaution because they felt uncomfortable.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I had heard in other sources. Yeah,
- 26:00Speaker 2: he was like pretending to record herself and then yeah,
- 26:04Speaker 2: kind of getting him in the shot at the same time.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Just super smart for a thirteen fourteen year old.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Yeah. So only a small portion has been released to
- 26:16Speaker 1: the public in which you can see a man like
- 26:18Speaker 1: taking a couple steps. It's a super short clip, but
- 26:22Speaker 1: it appears to be an older man in jeans, a
- 26:25Speaker 1: navy jacket and a hat walking with his hands in
- 26:28Speaker 1: his pockets. And again, I'll post it on our Instagram
- 26:31Speaker 1: because this is obviously a big part of the investigation.
- 26:35Speaker 1: And from the video, people that were familiar with the
- 26:38Speaker 1: area were able to determine that the perspective was from
- 26:41Speaker 1: the southeastern side of the bridge looking back towards the
- 26:45Speaker 1: northwestern side. And I know that's difficult to picture, especially
- 26:48Speaker 1: if you're like me and you're bad with directions, Like
- 26:53Speaker 1: I need to see it visually, so I'll post this
- 26:55Speaker 1: map on Instagram. But basically we have a photo of
- 27:00Speaker 1: the whole park area, and then it zooms in to
- 27:03Speaker 1: like just the bridge area, and first we can see
- 27:08Speaker 1: where the first and second photos were taken, kind of
- 27:10Speaker 1: on one end of the bridge, and then on the
- 27:13Speaker 1: other end of the bridge is where the video was taken,
- 27:18Speaker 1: or at least the portion of the man walking. And
- 27:20Speaker 1: so what they believe from the video is that they
- 27:24Speaker 1: were right at that opposite end of the bridge from
- 27:26Speaker 1: where the initial snapchat photos were taken, and Libby, who
- 27:29Speaker 1: is the one recording, was facing like back toward the
- 27:33Speaker 1: other end of the bridge, and Abby was facing her,
- 27:36Speaker 1: and the man was behind her facing the same way
- 27:40Speaker 1: as Abby or toward Libby. Okay, so basically the man
- 27:45Speaker 1: is behind Abby facing Libby right. So there was obviously
- 27:53Speaker 1: also audio from this video, and again only a small
- 27:58Speaker 1: portion was released, but police did say that more of
- 28:02Speaker 1: the audio was played for the victim's family and that
- 28:05Speaker 1: quote the girls mostly talk about stuff girls talk about
- 28:07Speaker 1: in the recording, but they also mentioned the man. And
- 28:10Speaker 1: the only audio that was released to the public was
- 28:13Speaker 1: a man's voice ordering the girls down the hill and
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna play it for you here. So isn't that
- 28:28Speaker 1: just the creepiest fucking thing like why are you demanding
- 28:31Speaker 1: them to go down the hill? Like who the fuck
- 28:33Speaker 1: are you? Exactly, yeah, exactly, And we actually don't know
- 28:39Speaker 1: when in the video this was said, so like we
- 28:41Speaker 1: don't know.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Like when, like what the context it was. Did they
- 28:47Speaker 2: have conversations prior to this? Yeah, exactly.
- 28:52Speaker 1: They believe that what happened was they went off the
- 28:55Speaker 1: trail and possibly even through a shallow section of the creek.
- 29:00Speaker 1: From the Actus Rheus timeline quote, it has been theorized
- 29:04Speaker 1: that the offender pulled a weapon and found a way
- 29:07Speaker 1: to make the girls comply with his orders. So the
- 29:11Speaker 1: audio was released on February twenty second, twenty seventeen, and
- 29:15Speaker 1: it wasn't actually the full audio you just heard. It
- 29:17Speaker 1: was just the down the hill part. The guy's clip
- 29:22Speaker 1: wasn't released until April of twenty nineteen, and I'm not
- 29:25Speaker 1: really sure why it wasn't initially released and also like
- 29:30Speaker 1: why it was then released. I think that they were
- 29:32Speaker 1: just trying to get more out there.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because you would think they would want the whole
- 29:38Speaker 2: audio out there so someone might could recognize his voice
- 29:42Speaker 2: and be like, oh, that's so and so from such
- 29:44Speaker 2: and such, like let.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Me call that in exactly. Yeah, So I don't know
- 29:49Speaker 1: what was up with that, but that was the audio
- 29:52Speaker 1: we got, along with a couple of stills and you know,
- 29:56Speaker 1: the man moving and like we said, like Libby has
- 30:01Speaker 1: gotten a lot of praise from law enforcement for being
- 30:04Speaker 1: able to start that video once she knew something was up,
- 30:07Speaker 1: Like just being in the state of mind to figure
- 30:10Speaker 1: that out is amazing and.
- 30:11Speaker 2: How scared she must have been too, you know, and
- 30:14Speaker 2: still amag to do that.
- 30:16Speaker 1: So a lot about the investigation has still not been
- 30:19Speaker 1: released since it is still an open investigation. So aside
- 30:23Speaker 1: from the audio and video evidence, there's only a few
- 30:25Speaker 1: things we know. So I'm going to go through that now.
- 30:29Speaker 1: First of all, according to The Indie Star, the FBI
- 30:32Speaker 1: did create a description of the suspect, so I'm just
- 30:35Speaker 1: going to read this exactly how they said it. The
- 30:40Speaker 1: suspected killer is thought to be a white man who
- 30:43Speaker 1: weighs between one hundred and eighty and two hundred pounds
- 30:45Speaker 1: and stands between five feet six inches tall and five
- 30:48Speaker 1: feet eight inches tall. He has been described as wearing
- 30:51Speaker 1: blue jeans, a blue jacket or coat, and a hoodie.
- 30:55Speaker 1: So there were also two police sketches that were released
- 30:58Speaker 1: over the years, the first one in a Lie of
- 31:00Speaker 1: twenty seventeen and the other in April of twenty nineteen.
- 31:04Speaker 1: The first was an older man with a goatee and
- 31:07Speaker 1: the second was a younger man looking like clean shaven,
- 31:11Speaker 1: and these are actually different men, which is what a
- 31:15Speaker 1: lot of people didn't understand at first, like what is
- 31:18Speaker 1: going on. So the first sketch that was released in
- 31:22Speaker 1: twenty seventeen was based off of a witness statement, and
- 31:28Speaker 1: then the second sketch that was released in twenty nineteen,
- 31:31Speaker 1: it was actually drawn back in twenty seventeen, so it
- 31:35Speaker 1: wasn't like a new sketch, It was just that they
- 31:38Speaker 1: were now releasing it. And basically they said that like
- 31:44Speaker 1: this one was believed to be the more accurate one
- 31:48Speaker 1: now And according to Kelsey Libby's sister, she explained it
- 31:52Speaker 1: on Twitter in twenty nineteen, saying, quote, they had created
- 31:56Speaker 1: several sketches at the time, and or they had several
- 32:01Speaker 1: sketches at the time, they believed the other one was
- 32:04Speaker 1: more credible. So it was basically like, at the time
- 32:07Speaker 1: they thought that that one was the accurate one, right,
- 32:09Speaker 1: and now in twenty nineteen they thought the other one
- 32:13Speaker 1: was more accurate, just as they were getting more information.
- 32:16Speaker 2: And wasn't like the original sketch that they released. Wasn't
- 32:19Speaker 2: it like a complete opposite composite of the guy in
- 32:22Speaker 2: the video, like a younger, slender, taller.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that was that was interesting. Finally, the
- 32:30Speaker 1: state police have also said that they believe the suspect
- 32:33Speaker 1: is originally from Delphi and either still works or lives
- 32:36Speaker 1: there or frequently visits the area. So that's pretty much
- 32:40Speaker 1: all they've released. And despite all this evidence, the case
- 32:44Speaker 1: went cold for five years and it still is cold.
- 32:48Speaker 1: But there was some recent you know, movement in it
- 32:53Speaker 1: a little bit, and so I'm going to share that here.
- 32:58Speaker 1: So yeah, but don't get too excited because it's not
- 33:02Speaker 1: not anything major. So in April twenty twenty one, a
- 33:07Speaker 1: kidnapping in Lafayette, Indiana, which is again about like thirty
- 33:11Speaker 1: minutes from Delphi. That kidnapping may possibly be linked to
- 33:16Speaker 1: these murders. The detectives on the Delphi case took notice
- 33:22Speaker 1: of James Brian Chadwell, the Second, who, according to a
- 33:27Speaker 1: journal and Courier article, has been accused of luring a
- 33:31Speaker 1: nine year old girl into his house, feeding her doing
- 33:36Speaker 1: other stuff I'm not going to talk about it, and
- 33:38Speaker 1: locking her in the basement. Thankfully, the police were notified
- 33:42Speaker 1: and after Chadwell allowed them to search his house, they
- 33:46Speaker 1: found the girl in the basement and arrested him. According
- 33:49Speaker 1: to the sheriff, many factors are leading the investigators to
- 33:53Speaker 1: look into Chadwell for the Delphi murders, and although he
- 33:57Speaker 1: said there's not a specific link, they are following up
- 34:01Speaker 1: on this lead as they have with every lead since
- 34:03Speaker 1: twenty seventeen. So unfortunately, that is pretty much all we
- 34:08Speaker 1: have at this point. All we can do is continue
- 34:12Speaker 1: to share the image and the sketch along with the
- 34:15Speaker 1: audio clip. You just may never know. Maybe one day
- 34:20Speaker 1: you will share it and then someone else will hear
- 34:23Speaker 1: it or see it and recognize it. And even if
- 34:26Speaker 1: you think, like I don't live in that area, so
- 34:29Speaker 1: there's no way, you never know, like people move people,
- 34:34Speaker 1: I mean, like I lived there, but now I don't,
- 34:37Speaker 1: so you know, like I could still recognize something, or
- 34:41Speaker 1: somebody that I know could recognize something. Like you just
- 34:44Speaker 1: never know, and so you never know who you may recognize.
- 34:50Speaker 1: If you have any information about the case, you can
- 34:53Speaker 1: send an email to Abby and Libby tip at CaCO Shrs.
- 35:02Speaker 1: That's where they're kind of taking all the tips instead
- 35:04Speaker 1: of a phone line because it's easier and it will
- 35:06Speaker 1: all be kept confidential. We will share all of the
- 35:10Speaker 1: photos and the video and the audio clip on our Instagram,
- 35:14Speaker 1: so please please please go look at that share it
- 35:17Speaker 1: if you can. I'll also share it on Twitter, so
- 35:20Speaker 1: if you're more on Twitter, go share it on there.
- 35:23Speaker 1: The least you can do for these girls is take
- 35:26Speaker 1: a few seconds to look at it and see if
- 35:29Speaker 1: you possibly recognize anything, and if you have a few
- 35:33Speaker 1: extra seconds, just hit share so we can help reach
- 35:36Speaker 1: more people. These girls deserve justice. They were babies and
- 35:41Speaker 1: they did everything that they could to identify their killer,
- 35:45Speaker 1: so we need to now do our part to get
- 35:48Speaker 1: them the justice they deserve.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Exactly, And it's a little, very very little effort on
- 35:53Speaker 2: our parts to share.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Exactly and because this is still so recent too, the
- 36:00Speaker 1: likelihood of it getting solved if more people share it
- 36:04Speaker 1: and talk about it and get the images and the
- 36:06Speaker 1: video out there. Some podcasts like like Crime Junkie if
- 36:10Speaker 1: they shared this story, which I don't know if they
- 36:12Speaker 1: have or not, but I don't remember hearing about it
- 36:15Speaker 1: on their podcast, but maybe they have. But if like
- 36:19Speaker 1: a bigger podcast like that shared the story and it
- 36:22Speaker 1: got the message out there, who knows what could happen.
- 36:27Speaker 1: So that's why we need to continue to share it.
- 36:29Speaker 1: And even though we're just a tiny little podcast getting started,
- 36:32Speaker 1: you never know who might hear this. And if just
- 36:35Speaker 1: like one person heard this, shared something and that led
- 36:39Speaker 1: to something, you just never know.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Just share it, just do it.
- 36:42Speaker 1: You just never know. And you know, these girls, Libby
- 36:45Speaker 1: literally like in the scariest moment in her life, was
- 36:49Speaker 1: able to take out her phone and record and get
- 36:53Speaker 1: this evidence. So she exactly and she deserves the justice,
- 37:00Speaker 1: and you know we're the only ones that can help
- 37:03Speaker 1: with that. Now. The investigators have done as much as
- 37:06Speaker 1: they can and they're continuing to do as much as
- 37:08Speaker 1: they can, but us getting it out there, I mean,
- 37:10Speaker 1: social media is freaking powerful. Like there have been multiple
- 37:15Speaker 1: murders and other things that have been solved through like
- 37:18Speaker 1: TikTok and people sharing. Yeah, so you know there's millions
- 37:23Speaker 1: of people on these apps and one share can make
- 37:27Speaker 1: such a difference. So absolutely, I feel like I've said
- 37:30Speaker 1: the word share a billion times, but it really is,
- 37:33Speaker 1: like I want to hammer that in that. Just go
- 37:36Speaker 1: share it. Share this podcast with your friends if you
- 37:40Speaker 1: have friends that are interested in these kinds of stories,
- 37:44Speaker 1: because I feel like the more you know crime junkies
- 37:47Speaker 1: and people who like this stuff hear it, the more
- 37:50Speaker 1: likely they are to share it then, just like you
- 37:53Speaker 1: know somebody who might be seeing it on social media,
- 37:56Speaker 1: if you understand the case and stuff like that, you
- 38:00Speaker 1: might be more likely to share it. So share it
- 38:02Speaker 1: with your true crime addicted friends. You know, we want
- 38:09Speaker 1: to get it out there, and let's get justice for
- 38:11Speaker 1: Abby and Libby because they freaking deserve it, they.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Do, and their families deserve to know what happened to them.
- 38:18Speaker 1: And the whole community. I mean, so many were out
- 38:20Speaker 1: there searching for them, and this community still doesn't feel safe.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I have friends that live not far from Delphi. Yeah,
- 38:27Speaker 1: and it's scary because even as being adults like something
- 38:32Speaker 1: like this could happen. Yeah, absolutely, and that man still
- 38:36Speaker 1: being out there is terrifying. And you know, they deserve justice,
- 38:40Speaker 1: their families deserve to know, and the whole community, that
- 38:43Speaker 1: whole area deserves to be able to feel peace because
- 38:46Speaker 1: I'm sure they.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Don't, and he deserves to be punished because he's gone
- 38:49Speaker 2: what five.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Years or five years?
- 38:52Speaker 2: Yeah, five years over five years with nothing with no Yeah,
- 38:57Speaker 2: just willy nilly out there doing doing thing, no punishment.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Exactly. So So yeah, that is the case of Abby
- 39:08Speaker 1: and Libby, you know, the Delphi murders, the Snapchat murders.
- 39:11Speaker 1: However people know it. We will again, as I've said
- 39:15Speaker 1: a million times, share everything on Instagram and Twitter, which
- 39:17Speaker 1: are both at Inhuman Underscore podcast. We're also on TikTok
- 39:22Speaker 1: at Inhuman podcast, and we will all be sharing that
- 39:25Speaker 1: story on there as well. And you know, maybe one
- 39:29Speaker 1: day that if any of our cases or any of
- 39:34Speaker 1: our TikTok videos are going to get more views, this
- 39:37Speaker 1: is one that I hope does because, like I said,
- 39:40Speaker 1: it's unsolved and it just you never know who it'll reach.
- 39:43Speaker 1: So if you are on TikTok, go like comment on
- 39:47Speaker 1: that help boost it so more people can see it.
- 39:50Speaker 1: And let's get this story out there.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Yep, And don't forget to subscribe wherever you listen to
- 39:56Speaker 2: your podcast, leave us a review, a rating, all the
- 40:01Speaker 2: good things. We really do appreciate it and it does
- 40:04Speaker 2: help us a ton.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Yeah. We actually I've been like looking at our reviews,
- 40:10Speaker 1: so we have reviews and then ratings, and the ratings
- 40:13Speaker 1: just like you can tap how however many stars and
- 40:16Speaker 1: you don't have to write anything. And for a while
- 40:18Speaker 1: we had nineteen and the other day we had twenty.
- 40:21Speaker 1: So somebody else rated up, which is amazing, and I
- 40:25Speaker 1: think they gave us the five stars. So it boosted
- 40:27Speaker 1: our rating because we do have a hater that gave
- 40:30Speaker 1: us like a one star rating back when we started,
- 40:33Speaker 1: so it kind of brought us down to like I
- 40:34Speaker 1: think we were at a four point seven. And I mean,
- 40:37Speaker 1: we don't have to be perfect at all, like I
- 40:39Speaker 1: want your honest ratings and input and stuff, all right,
- 40:44Speaker 1: but it felt good to boost a little bit since
- 40:47Speaker 1: our hater hates us and still and brought it down
- 40:50Speaker 1: a little bit. Yeah. Still, it's been over a year,
- 40:53Speaker 1: but it's okay, it's fine. Fine, But if you are listening,
- 40:58Speaker 1: especially on Apple, if you could just like all you
- 41:01Speaker 1: gotta do is tap the stars. You don't even have
- 41:03Speaker 1: to write anything, and that would mean the world to us.
- 41:06Speaker 1: And also if you have case suggestions, you know, we're
- 41:08Speaker 1: on Instagram and you can also send us an email
- 41:11Speaker 1: at Inhumanmonsterpod at gmail dot com if you have suggestions
- 41:16Speaker 1: or like input about cases or anything we'd love to
- 41:19Speaker 1: hear it.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Yep.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Well, thank you guys so much for listening.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Keep it human.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Oh I forgot, good job, I totally forgot. Okay, you
- 41:30Speaker 1: can do the next one.
