- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Hold on.
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: What does this say?
- 0:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, this is from a guest.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: So I don't know if you were uh registered and got bumped out of the uh app and need to re-sign in or if you need to sign in.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: I wasn't struck by lightning, but my horse was so devastated.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: I so then I take it your horse passed.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: I d I mean, but it makes sense too.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Horses are in a field and they say you shouldn't be in the open areas or like underneath the tree.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: You should be inside.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: It's tough to bring your horse into the living room during a thunderstorm, but nonetheless.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Even in the barn, you know, it it just happens so quickly.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: You wouldn't even expect I honestly I would never even expect it to happen.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: Wow when it starts to light.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: But your horse gets Nelly tickets, congratulations.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: I ex I I expect when there's a lightning storm for me to go outside and watch it, to be honest with you.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: I don't even know that I go outside sometimes.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Oh, I do.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh, look at it.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Did you see that big one?
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: Listen, when we start the show after the next thunderstorm, and it's just the Scott show because Allie's now laying out hard as a carp like this family in Florida.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Heed my words.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: Stay inside.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: I love watching Lunder and Thighning.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Thunder and Thightning.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Lightning.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: I'm sure you weren't struck this morning already.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Lightning and Thunder.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: You start stuttering.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: I'm going to be questioning everything.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Why did I just do that?
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I don't know either.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, but you want you wanna know what I had for dinner last night, and it was awesome.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: That was a random shift of gears, but I'm right here in the passenger seat with you.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Go ahead.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Tuna noodle casserole.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: God bless you.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: What did an app peas?
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Ellie and I.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: Just yesterday.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: I gotta tell you this.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: This is really funny.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: So I don't know how you and Gavin are app uh wizard, who's in town this week.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Uh he's one of our corporate uh folk.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Not Scott's kid.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: No, not mine.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Although I did make the joke earlier, my kid probably could, you know, build an app too, because that's the way 12-year-olds are.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: And our Gavin from corporate, also the size of a 12-year-old.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: So it all kind of all ties together.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Um I think I'm taller than him.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: He's a wee little guy.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: But anyways, you guys, and I'm over here working, and you guys are all barely.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: He pops in and uh and was visiting for a minute, and somehow you guys got on the subject of meatloaf.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: And how you it's I don't even remember how you got there, but you're like, and I hate meatloaf.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: And he's like, I love meatloaf.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: We're all like, you what?
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: So meatloaf?
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Maybe we were talking about restaurants and things to go to while he's in town because he doesn't live here.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: But somehow I don't know how you got on this subject yesterday, but it struck me as so funny because you and I have passion for just a disdain for meatloaf.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: But tuna noodle casserole, tuna doodle, tuna, tuna do casserole with a thunder and floor.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: With a lunder and thiny.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I will tell you, a tuna noodle casserole is equally as cheap of a meal.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: And it's like, I mean, oh my god.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I will eat the hell out of it.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Zach's gonna be eating it for the next 19 days.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: What did you top it with?
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Was it the stale potato chips that come back to life, or did you use breadcrumbs?
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Breadcrumbs, but that sounds amazing.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Also, I didn't make it.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: He made it.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: He'd asked me, this is a weird question.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: He said, Do you like tuna noodle casserole?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Yes, I do.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Of course I do.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: I know why he asked.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: And this is a reference.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: And I'm the only one in my house that eats it.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: This is a reference to an old show that we had around uh, I believe NASCAR.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: It was when his friend made the max salad and put tuna in it.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, ew, what?
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: I put that up on my Facebook, my personal, because that was such a buffalo uh dish.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: Tuna in the uh max salad.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: And I I it's not that I hate it.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: I just don't want tuna to be the star of the show on the max salad.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Well, remember so I don't want it.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Remember, we discovered that that was a regional treat that you weren't raised on, so you didn't know it.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: Like my cousin who lives in Long Island, okay?
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: I still think I have a nice palate.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: She well, yes, uh, but she lives in Long Island, but we grew up together in Buffalo, right?
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: And I had the picture up and I said, Is this not the most it's still on my personal Facebook?
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: I go, is this not the most Buffalo summer salad you've ever seen?
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: The tuna noodle casserole.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: People were all like, oh my god, my sister-in-law was like, oh, I put this in mine and all that.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: So that's that was regional.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: What else goes in there?
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: We discovered south celery.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it could be.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Uh we discovered south.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: I think she used sweet pickles.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Uh I think we we discovered south of Pittsburgh.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Tuna noodle casserole, unless you're a transplant from Buffalo, is not a thing.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: But tuna, or not tuna noodle casserole, tuna noodle salad.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: But tuna noodle casserole, it's on the same par as meatloaf.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: It's right there.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: They're both equal, you know, as far as those well, gotta feed the family meals.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Well, I understand why he thought that I wouldn't like tuna noodle casserole because of the whole mac salad thing around NASCAR.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Well, then it's warmed with peas.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, and some good old mushroom soup, and I don't know what else he put in there.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Love.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: So much love.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Humbly cheese.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, it had to be because it tasted cheesy to me.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Yes, there is a recipe that seems to have over.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: My mom never used cheese.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: It was just the uh tuna, the mushroom soup, uh obviously some milk or whatever.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Peace.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Um, egg noodles.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Uh, and then used okay, you ready for this?
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: What?
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Because I've discovered over the years, and I didn't realize this till I got older.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: So my parents were cheaper than I realized, but they were smart cheap.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah, because didn't they leave you guys some money?
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that stuck around in my life for a long time.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Uh, but at any rate, I didn't realize it at the time, but they were smart on the way they did things.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: Like me, I'm like, oh, you want steak?
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Let me go get the prime rib right now.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: My parents were like, well, let me uh get the tuna noodle casserole and you were eating it for 19 days.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Yes, it was.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: She used to get wise potato chips, just the original wise in kind of that teal bag.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: And when they would go stale at the bottom, she'd be like, You don't throw those out.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: I'm like, but they're sets off.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: And then you'd sprinkle them on top of the tuna noodle casserole.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: And for some reason, they'd all come back to life, and it's better than breadcrumbs.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: I am gonna tell that to Zach for next time because he's the one that makes that dish, not me.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Stale out the chips.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Is it creamy?
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Can I have some of his?
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: Can you bring some?
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: I absolutely can bring some.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Believe me, we have plenty.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And I probably won't eat any more.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: It's delicious, but it's it's a one, maybe two meal, and then you're like, I'm good.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: Like anyone that can sit down to a whole loaf of meatloaf and be like, I'm going through half.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Well, first I feel bad for your colon.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: But um, oh, look at this.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: This is from um Renee.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Renee, uh, chicken noodle or uh chicken noodle casserole is way better than tuna.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: Um I said what I said.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: I that's funny because I almost I almost put chicken in there instead.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Um my mom has put tuna in her macaroni salad since I can remember.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Well, that's it.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: It's a regional thing, guys.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: We discovered that back in spring.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I have a cousin that is uh an airplane mechanic, and he was working on a plane about 20 years ago, and he was struck by lightning.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Is okay, so that still exists already.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: I have a cousin that is an airplane mechanic, so still alive.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Can you confirm?
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: And my mother-in-law got struck twice by lightning.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: She lost Oh she lost all is it le oh, I think they meant to say leg, hair, and armpit hair.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: I thought she lost her leg.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: No, she lost all the hair out of it.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: Oh God, sign me up.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: I hope you like your mother in law because I hate shaving.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: I was gonna yeah, right.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say, I hope you like your mother in law because if she got struck twice and survived, she's here to haunt you.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: Simple enough.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
