- 0:02Speaker 1: Now I have been having some fun being annoying towards
- 0:06Speaker 1: Angie on the big ninety eight point seven Facebook page,
- 0:08Speaker 1: our Instagram, and it really just brings a lot of
- 0:11Speaker 1: joy to both of our days. Angie never and she
- 0:15Speaker 1: never really knows what's coming, when it's coming, what I'm
- 0:19Speaker 1: going to do a troll or annoyer, and it has
- 0:22Speaker 1: brought me so much joy.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I know that something is coming, I just don't ever
- 0:27Speaker 2: know exactly what it is. But because I love you, Gabe,
- 0:30Speaker 2: and you're the little brother I never wanted, I just
- 0:33Speaker 2: let it happen. Okay. Yeah, However, on Friday, I think
- 0:39Speaker 2: it was you did something so annoying, so annoying that
- 0:46Speaker 2: not like I'm actually mad, so.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Take it.
- 0:53Speaker 4: I can't stand you.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Here's the thing you changed my My first mistake was
- 0:58Speaker 2: not having my phone locked. Okay, So you took my
- 1:01Speaker 2: phone and you changed the language to Punjabi, which you're
- 1:05Speaker 2: so annoying.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:07Speaker 1: That it wasn't you know some people and I couldn't
- 1:10Speaker 1: do Spanish obviously.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Because I know Spanish.
- 1:12Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, some people will change it to Chinese
- 1:14Speaker 5: or they'll change it, you know.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Punjab of all languages, I just picked one that I
- 1:19Speaker 1: thought would be very, very silly.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Uh yeah, well I am annoyed, but I finally have
- 1:26Speaker 2: it changed back. However, on my keyboard it's still an
- 1:32Speaker 2: option on there, and I don't ever, I don't know
- 1:34Speaker 2: exactly how it is that I do this, but I'll
- 1:38Speaker 2: be texting and then randomly in the middle of my text,
- 1:41Speaker 2: it'll switch to Punjabi and then I can't change the
- 1:45Speaker 2: keyboard back, and I still don't know. I even looked
- 1:49Speaker 2: it up I Google search, like, how can I take
- 1:51Speaker 2: this off my keyboard?
- 1:52Speaker 4: Whatever?
- 1:53Speaker 2: My phone is not cooperating with the instructions that have
- 1:57Speaker 2: been given to me online. Yeah, so I just have
- 2:00Speaker 2: on my keyboard and at any given moment, like what
- 2:03Speaker 2: if there's an emergency and I'm trying to text, and
- 2:06Speaker 2: then it just switches and I do end up switching
- 2:08Speaker 2: it back sometimes, but I don't actually know how I
- 2:12Speaker 2: did it. It's one of those you know when you're
- 2:14Speaker 2: little and you're playing like a fighting video game and
- 2:18Speaker 2: you do combos and it's like, how'd you do that combo?
- 2:20Speaker 2: And it's like, I don't know, I just hit every
- 2:22Speaker 2: button and then something happened that's mashing. Yes, yes, I'm
- 2:26Speaker 2: button mashing my phone to try to fix the keyboard
- 2:29Speaker 2: and I can't, So I'm mad at you for real. Okay,
- 2:33Speaker 2: And you know what, if today you come up to
- 2:36Speaker 2: me with your phone on because you want to record
- 2:39Speaker 2: some little prank, I'm gonna let it happen. But can
- 2:42Speaker 2: you just try to not do something that causes me
- 2:46Speaker 2: irreparable harm?
- 2:47Speaker 5: Irreparable?
- 2:49Speaker 4: Yeah, irreparable.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Your girl loves to text, and if I can't text
- 2:54Speaker 2: in the language that my friends know, I'm kind of
- 2:57Speaker 2: at a loss.
- 2:58Speaker 5: See.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I thought I was doing you a favor your bilingual
- 3:01Speaker 1: Here is the perfect, perfect opportunity for you to become
- 3:06Speaker 1: tri lingual. I don't know a single person who's tri lingual.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You could become the first angie.
- 3:12Speaker 4: You're just always trying me and I don't like it.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Well, I will let you know something.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Do you remember we had a little bet about a
- 3:19Speaker 1: hair growing out situation.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Well, I may or may not know.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Exactly how to fix that keyboard for you on your phone, okay,
- 3:27Speaker 1: but I might leave it there until I can get
- 3:29Speaker 1: a haircut because your boy is looking gross.
- 3:33Speaker 4: No, absolutely not.
- 3:34Speaker 5: I'm gonna learn Punjabi now.
- 3:39Speaker 1: A few minutes ago, Angie had expressed her very sincere
- 3:44Speaker 1: annoyance at me for switching the language in her iPhone
- 3:48Speaker 1: to Punjabi, and she was able to kind of switch
- 3:51Speaker 1: it back, but Punjabi was still popping up from time
- 3:54Speaker 1: to die yes.
- 3:55Speaker 2: On my keyboard, and I couldn't fix it.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And then what happened, Angie? Dad texted you, I have
- 4:03Speaker 1: fixed Angie's phone. It is back to normal, So no
- 4:06Speaker 1: more Punjabi text messages from Angie if she's texted.
- 4:10Speaker 5: You past day or two.
- 4:11Speaker 2: However, what did your dad text you, Gabe?
- 4:14Speaker 1: He said, quit being mean to Angie or I will
- 4:16Speaker 1: have to ground you exactly.
- 4:18Speaker 4: He's team Angie. I love you.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Greg Gliden, seventy three year old father talking to him
- 4:23Speaker 1: as a thirty five year old man.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Gosh, that's hilarious.
- 4:29Speaker 6: Celebrating life's little victories. Every morning. We practice gratitude on
- 4:34Speaker 6: Big ninety eight points.
- 4:35Speaker 1: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 4:38Speaker 1: pastt job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 4:44Speaker 6: two eight oho one ninety eight seven.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 4:49Speaker 1: First and foremost sell we do have to go to
- 4:52Speaker 1: Trisha this morning, who, as far as I understand, actually
- 4:56Speaker 1: use some Gabe Glitden advice what and.
- 4:59Speaker 5: It were out right, Tricia.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Tricia said, Hey, Gabe, I've heard you talk about how
- 5:05Speaker 1: you have thrown away all of your socks and every
- 5:08Speaker 1: couple of years you go and buy a bunch of
- 5:10Speaker 1: new bags of the exact same sock. Well this weekend,
- 5:14Speaker 1: that's exactly what I did at Walmart. And it is
- 5:17Speaker 1: nice having all of the same socks no matter what.
- 5:20Speaker 1: So congratulations to Tricia. What a nice ee. I do
- 5:23Speaker 1: like that adult sock move right there, I do.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I love that.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I've got a couple little victories, and I hate to
- 5:30Speaker 2: say it, but one is attributed to you, Gabeat.
- 5:34Speaker 5: I'm just kidding, just kidding.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I had a really hard time falling asleep last night.
- 5:38Speaker 2: And last week on the show, you talked about this
- 5:43Speaker 2: hack that you saw and it was reverse blinking. So
- 5:47Speaker 2: when you're lying down, you have your eyes closed and
- 5:50Speaker 2: then you try to open them up a few times. Yes,
- 5:55Speaker 2: and that's supposed to trick your body into thinking it
- 5:57Speaker 2: needs it's sleepy and falling asleep. And I tried it
- 6:01Speaker 2: and it did work.
- 6:02Speaker 3: It really did.
- 6:03Speaker 5: It did work.
- 6:04Speaker 2: My only regret is that I waited way too long
- 6:07Speaker 2: before I remembered that. But now I know, and so
- 6:11Speaker 2: it did work. So that was a little victory. But
- 6:13Speaker 2: the major little victory is that yesterday me, Mikey and
- 6:18Speaker 2: the boys we went and saw Project tail Mary.
- 6:21Speaker 4: It's the new movie starring Ryan Gosling.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Sure with the Alien, with the Alien.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And it's ot in space. When I tell you, Gabe,
- 6:28Speaker 2: this movie is incredible. It's so good. It's a long one.
- 6:32Speaker 2: It's two hours and thirty six minutes. But the kids
- 6:36Speaker 2: stayed awake and engaged the whole time. Obviously, so did
- 6:39Speaker 2: I and mikeyous Well, yeah, sometimes when it's a long one,
- 6:44Speaker 2: the kids can just pass out, especially because we were
- 6:46Speaker 2: in you know, the Recliner, the dream Loungers or whatever.
- 6:49Speaker 2: But it was so good. And this isn't a movie
- 6:51Speaker 2: that would have been on my radar. But my boyfriend
- 6:54Speaker 2: Mikey is a huge space nerd, and so he read
- 6:58Speaker 2: the book and when he found that there was a movie,
- 7:01Speaker 2: he's being excited for it. So we finally went wow,
- 7:04Speaker 2: and he said it was excellent in terms of comparing
- 7:07Speaker 2: comparing it to the book, that it was excellent. I
- 7:10Speaker 2: mean it's so good. There's joy, there's tears. I mean
- 7:13Speaker 2: I cried a lot, and I know I'm a cry baby,
- 7:15Speaker 2: but I was looking around in the theater and other
- 7:17Speaker 2: people were also crying at the same part, so I
- 7:20Speaker 2: was crying. So it is a bit of a tear jerker,
- 7:23Speaker 2: but it's also triumphant. Oh, it's so good. Highly recommend
- 7:26Speaker 2: for the family project.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Hail Mary. No, this is not an ad. I just
- 7:30Speaker 4: really liked it.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Well, that's awesome. It's kind of cool when you go
- 7:33Speaker 5: to a movie theater and you're not like let down. Yeah.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because movie theater prices are expensive, they can.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Be that's great. Yeah, my little victory. Yesterday Corey and
- 7:43Speaker 1: I it was basically just Aeron's day and chore day, okay,
- 7:46Speaker 1: and one of our errands we had to run to Costco,
- 7:48Speaker 1: Okay to get a couple of things for the dog.
- 7:51Speaker 1: There's like treats in there where we can buy obviously
- 7:53Speaker 1: them in bulk. Yeah, And on our way into Costco,
- 7:57Speaker 1: we are in the parking lot where I see you
- 8:00Speaker 1: know this like forty year old dad, forty five year
- 8:03Speaker 1: old dad who has his cart and as he's bringing
- 8:07Speaker 1: the cart back, does a couple of little runs, jumps
- 8:11Speaker 1: on the cart and slides into where you place the carts.
- 8:16Speaker 1: And my wife, Corey and I looked at each other
- 8:19Speaker 1: and smirked, and she goes, wow, there is someone else
- 8:23Speaker 1: over the age of fifteen.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Who does that.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I do that ninety eight percent of the time when
- 8:29Speaker 1: I have a shopping cart.
- 8:30Speaker 5: I can't help it.
- 8:30Speaker 1: My inner twelve year old just comes out and I
- 8:34Speaker 1: jump and hop on the cart and ride it down
- 8:36Speaker 1: the parking lot. And I went up to the guy
- 8:38Speaker 1: after I was like, hey, I really appreciate what I
- 8:41Speaker 1: just saw, and he was like, oh what. I was like, well,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you jumped on the cart when you were putting it back.
- 8:46Speaker 1: My wife is convinced I'm the only person over the
- 8:49Speaker 1: age of fifteen who does this, and so I appreciate
- 8:52Speaker 1: that you allowed me to get a little win in
- 8:54Speaker 1: the house today. Yeah, so thank you for that.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 1: He laughed so hard. No, He's like, yeah, I appreciate that.
- 9:01Speaker 1: That's awesome, man, A little win for the fellows today.
- 9:03Speaker 1: As I walked into Costco, it was fabulous.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Representation matters, that's what they say.
- 9:10Speaker 2: That's right, It's finally happened. I've been attacked by a fandom.
- 9:23Speaker 2: You know, the Swifties, they can be they.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Can don't want the Swifties. You don't want the Bay High,
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah want that. I would guess you probably don't want
- 9:33Speaker 1: Britney Spears fan.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I don't know that's true, but oh my gosh, and
- 9:38Speaker 2: I am a Britney Spears fan like die Hard. Well,
- 9:42Speaker 2: it was an in sync fan. So my favorite thing
- 9:44Speaker 2: that happened over the weekend was the release of Justin
- 9:47Speaker 2: Timberlake's uh d w I arrest bodycam footage? Right this,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I mean he sued. This is why I got I
- 9:56Speaker 2: think even more attention is because he tried to sue
- 9:59Speaker 2: to stop the release of the footage, which made people think, oh,
- 10:03Speaker 2: well then it must be really something if he's suing
- 10:06Speaker 2: to have it, yeah, I must not released. Yeah. So
- 10:10Speaker 2: he settled, and so we got redacted footage. So we
- 10:13Speaker 2: don't even have all the footage. But I made a
- 10:16Speaker 2: little video and I posted it on the Big ninety
- 10:20Speaker 2: eight point seven Instagram. You can check it out Big
- 10:22Speaker 2: nine eight seven FM on Instagram, just saying basically that
- 10:26Speaker 2: it was kind of hilarious the video. He has trouble
- 10:30Speaker 2: explaining what a world tour is.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Like, obviously, you know, do not drink and drive. We
- 10:35Speaker 1: should say that first. But the video in and of
- 10:39Speaker 1: itself is pretty I don't know what the word is,
- 10:42Speaker 1: like a harmless it's very regular DUI stuff.
- 10:46Speaker 5: I guess it's very.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Amusing and I don't know whatever, it's just jokes.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Well, someone jumped into my comments section.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Imagine wishing the name of.
- 10:59Speaker 5: The comment I don't want to like. Okay, fair enough,
- 11:03Speaker 5: all right?
- 11:06Speaker 2: In the video, by the way, in the video that
- 11:08Speaker 2: I made, I say, the best way for this talk
- 11:11Speaker 2: go away is for Justin Timberlake to give us an
- 11:13Speaker 2: in sync.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Reunion finally turnaround.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, well, she commented, imagine wishing for a reunion
- 11:20Speaker 2: and talking crazy on the lead singer at the same time.
- 11:24Speaker 2: That's not going to happen anyway. The video was as
- 11:27Speaker 2: scandalous as you hoped it would be. He was drunk, he.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Got arrested, he paid the feest, so what now? So then,
- 11:33Speaker 4: I I mean, I had the comment.
- 11:35Speaker 5: When you read it in that tone, it does sound
- 11:37Speaker 5: kind of funny.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I commented, nothing, none of this is serious, elol, because
- 11:44Speaker 2: I'm not actually trying to come for anybody.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like it's harmless. Well I got a response.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Here's the thing about joking around, you actually have to
- 11:57Speaker 2: be funny. Oh wow, Otherwise you look snarky and I
- 12:04Speaker 2: can't tell if you're a fan, especially after you decide
- 12:07Speaker 2: to join in on trying to drag him and then
- 12:10Speaker 2: top it off.
- 12:11Speaker 4: With a hopeful reunion.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I wouldn't blame Justin if he never wants to reunite
- 12:16Speaker 2: with the guys, considering how trashy fans act. Yourself included wow,
- 12:23Speaker 2: So I said, are you the friend in the video?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Because in the footage, Justin Timberlake has a friend who's
- 12:32Speaker 2: really coming to his defense.
- 12:34Speaker 4: After this, she blocked me wonderful.
- 12:38Speaker 2: The thing is, was I terrible for making this video?
- 12:42Speaker 2: I feel like it's not a big deal. I did
- 12:44Speaker 2: look up the problem, Angie. If this was an am
- 12:46Speaker 2: I the problem? At seven forty one? You are the problem?
- 12:48Speaker 2: How dare you try to have a little fun on Instagram?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Well?
- 12:51Speaker 2: I did look up the account and it is very
- 12:54Speaker 2: clearly a die hard stand account for in Sync and
- 12:58Speaker 2: Justin Timberlake.
- 13:00Speaker 4: So I understand why her feathers were ruffled.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But thanks for the engagement on social media. March Dadness.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. So we had a
- 13:15Speaker 2: lot of people nominate the daddies in their life for
- 13:19Speaker 2: March Dadness. The thing is, Gabe is going to be
- 13:21Speaker 2: a dad in the summer, so he doesn't technically qualify
- 13:25Speaker 2: as being a dad right now.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Badly, yeah, sadly, I kind of sort of can't really participate.
- 13:30Speaker 2: No, you can't, which leaves us without a big Daddy
- 13:33Speaker 2: for Big ninety eight point seven. So we're doing March Dadness.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Big ninety eightless.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Right exactly, and we need a big Daddy.
- 13:41Speaker 2: So we asked you to nominate the daddies in your life.
- 13:45Speaker 2: The selections have been made, so the process for that
- 13:50Speaker 2: random selected at random. There was a name generator involved.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It does not invalidate any daddies that were nominated as
- 14:00Speaker 2: rate daddies, but we had to whittle it down. Okay,
- 14:02Speaker 2: So the men of March Dadness you can find them
- 14:07Speaker 2: now on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 14:09Speaker 2: We have a post pinned to the top of our page.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You can't miss it. You can look through there and
- 14:14Speaker 2: see all of the daddies in contention to be Big
- 14:19Speaker 2: Daddy of Big ninety eight point seven. Today.
- 14:22Speaker 4: The voting will start on Instagram. So this is the thing.
- 14:26Speaker 2: If you don't follow us on Instagram, do so because
- 14:30Speaker 2: that's where you're going to be able to vote on
- 14:33Speaker 2: the brackets. So Big nine eight seven FM on Instagram.
- 14:38Speaker 2: So I want to say at noon today we will
- 14:41Speaker 2: have you vote on the left side of the bracket
- 14:45Speaker 2: and you can only do that on the Big ninety
- 14:48Speaker 2: eight point seven Instagram Big nine eight seven FM. And
- 14:52Speaker 2: you're going to vote as we narrow it down and
- 14:55Speaker 2: try to crown the Big Daddy of Big ninety eight
- 14:59Speaker 2: point seven for March Dadness.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I am so excited.
- 15:03Speaker 2: About this, like on a level that maybe is creepy,
- 15:06Speaker 2: I don't know, but I'm so excited.
- 15:09Speaker 3: This is so cool to me.
- 15:10Speaker 2: And if you nominated the daddy in your life and
- 15:14Speaker 2: you want to see if they made it to the
- 15:17Speaker 2: it's forty eight. We've got not sixty four, We've got
- 15:20Speaker 2: forty eight, okay, Daddy's So if you want to see
- 15:23Speaker 2: if the daddy you nominated is in the running, go
- 15:27Speaker 2: to our Facebook page, Big ninety eight point seven's Facebook
- 15:30Speaker 2: page and you can see right there pinned to the top.
- 15:32Speaker 2: This is exciting, lots of great candidates. You're not gonna
- 15:35Speaker 2: want to miss.
- 15:36Speaker 5: This, that's right.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And it's a title you can hold until this summer, Okay,
- 15:40Speaker 1: and then I'm coming for the crown.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Okay, sure, game, We're gonna have to wait till next year.
- 15:46Speaker 1: My guys, be ready for the voting on Instagram today
- 15:50Speaker 1: at about noon o'clock. Here with Big ninety eight point seven,
- 15:52Speaker 1: March Dadness officially underway.
- 15:58Speaker 3: This is am Hi the problem.
- 16:00Speaker 5: It's me, Hi the problem.
- 16:04Speaker 3: It's me. We'll hear one side of the story and
- 16:07Speaker 3: with your help.
- 16:09Speaker 6: Decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 16:13Speaker 4: That's right, I am the problem.
- 16:16Speaker 3: On Big nine eight point seven, we.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Had Cheryl right into us, Hi, Angie and Gabe. This
- 16:23Speaker 2: is time sensitive, so please do this on your show
- 16:26Speaker 2: before Friday.
- 16:27Speaker 4: It is Monday, so we're doing right already.
- 16:30Speaker 5: Yeah, we're giving you four days of prep work.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Here, one of our supervisors at work is leaving and
- 16:35Speaker 2: having a going way party. I'm really happy they are
- 16:37Speaker 2: leaving to work somewhere else because I can't stand this person.
- 16:41Speaker 2: But I don't want to go to this party, especially
- 16:44Speaker 2: because we're all expected to bring a food item.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Am I the problem? If I skip it?
- 16:50Speaker 2: What did you think seven oh one, two, eight oh
- 16:52Speaker 2: one nine eight seven?
- 16:53Speaker 4: What would you do in Cheryl's shoes?
- 16:56Speaker 2: I think you are the problem if you skip it, Cheryl,
- 16:59Speaker 2: because what are you going to do otherwise? Don't take
- 17:02Speaker 2: a sick day? That's no, that's a waste. Here's what
- 17:05Speaker 2: you do. You go and in your head, it's like, yes,
- 17:08Speaker 2: this is a celebration that they are leaving, not celebrating
- 17:13Speaker 2: the time that you had with them. In your head, yes, yes,
- 17:18Speaker 2: thank yead, this loser is leaving. As for having to
- 17:22Speaker 2: bring a food item, bring something only you would eat, duh.
- 17:27Speaker 5: Personal bag of check.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Yeah, something that you know nobody else will touch.
- 17:32Speaker 4: And then you can just eat it and bring home
- 17:34Speaker 4: the leftovers.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Have I been in this situation before and that's why
- 17:38Speaker 2: I know exactly what to do?
- 17:40Speaker 5: Yes, I have been, really I have. What happened?
- 17:44Speaker 2: I did not want to go. I was so glad
- 17:46Speaker 2: this woman was leaving, and so.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Where'd you Where were you at at the time?
- 17:50Speaker 2: You know, I was in Seattle, Okay, so it's safe
- 17:54Speaker 2: to say they're not even up in Seattle. So I
- 17:59Speaker 2: didn't want to go to that wan. I was thrilled
- 18:02Speaker 2: that this woman was leaving. So when it came to
- 18:06Speaker 2: going way party time, I thought it would look pretty
- 18:09Speaker 2: rude if I didn't go.
- 18:10Speaker 5: So you're a good sport.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I was a good sport. I didn't have to bring
- 18:13Speaker 2: a food item or anything. I'm not I wasn't in
- 18:15Speaker 2: this situation, but I did show up, and then in
- 18:18Speaker 2: my head it was like, yes, let's celebrate that we
- 18:20Speaker 2: never have to see this witch ever again. Yeah, witch,
- 18:23Speaker 2: I said, okay, yeah, that's right.
- 18:25Speaker 5: With a W. I'll let you know right now. Don't go,
- 18:28Speaker 5: just skip it. Who cares, They're gone.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Cyanara Sea later, don't let the door hit you where
- 18:34Speaker 1: the good Lord split you on the way out.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Just don't go. They're gone.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Unless you have kids who play on the same soccer
- 18:42Speaker 1: team or something and you gotta see them every now
- 18:44Speaker 1: and then, if you likely will only possibly run into
- 18:47Speaker 1: this person at Target or when you're shopping at West
- 18:50Speaker 1: Acres Mall or whatever the case, who cares? Yeah, yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 1: this is the one time unless they already know. But
- 18:57Speaker 1: this is like a one freebie where you can very passive,
- 19:01Speaker 1: aggressively but very loudly, go.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Yeah I don't like you. How often do you get
- 19:06Speaker 5: to do that in life.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Do you agree with? Gabe let us know. We also
- 19:10Speaker 2: have this on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Should Cheryl just go to this going away party of
- 19:16Speaker 2: the person she can't stand?
- 19:18Speaker 4: Or should she skip it? Night on the problem Cheryl has.
- 19:27Speaker 2: A supervisor at work that is leaving, and she's glad
- 19:31Speaker 2: because she can't stand this person. But the office is
- 19:34Speaker 2: having a going away party and everyone is expected to
- 19:38Speaker 2: attend and bring a food item.
- 19:40Speaker 4: So Cheryl wants.
- 19:41Speaker 2: To know if she's the problem for skipping it, that's
- 19:45Speaker 2: what she wants to do.
- 19:46Speaker 4: She just wants to flat.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Out not go. Should she go and bring a food item?
- 19:51Speaker 2: We asked you also on the Big ninety eight point
- 19:54Speaker 2: seven Facebook page, what would you do in Cheryl's shoes?
- 19:58Speaker 2: I said that I think she should go old of
- 20:00Speaker 2: the potluck or it seems like a potluck that you
- 20:03Speaker 2: have to bring a food item. Sure, she should go
- 20:06Speaker 2: bring something that only she would want.
- 20:08Speaker 5: To eat for the people she likes there.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Or the people she Sure, and then in your head,
- 20:13Speaker 2: the celebration is Yay, we're getting rid of her good riddings,
- 20:18Speaker 2: versus celebrating the time that you had with her, Right, Gabe, things,
- 20:23Speaker 2: just skip it.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Yeah, who cares?
- 20:24Speaker 1: You're old enough to where if someone knows you don't
- 20:27Speaker 1: like them, who cares? They're leaving? You don't got to
- 20:29Speaker 1: see them every day. Now, there are some caveats to that.
- 20:32Speaker 1: If your kids are on the same soccer team, or
- 20:35Speaker 1: they are in ballet together or dance, then maybe you
- 20:38Speaker 1: got to play ball a little bit, so it's not
- 20:41Speaker 1: strangely awkward every time you see them unless you really
- 20:43Speaker 1: don't care, which is kind of.
- 20:44Speaker 5: How I feel a lot.
- 20:46Speaker 1: So I'd say, don't go and letter let that person know, Hey,
- 20:49Speaker 1: don't let the door hit you where the good Lord
- 20:51Speaker 1: split you?
- 20:52Speaker 3: Well, you know I.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Love seeing this. This is on the Facebook page and
- 20:55Speaker 2: Julia came out with agreed with Angie and my favorite
- 21:01Speaker 2: thing on the planet. She said, bring bread or chips,
- 21:04Speaker 2: Oh she really does know me, or something super easy.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Be cordial and think of it as celebrating a better
- 21:10Speaker 2: workplace without well.
- 21:12Speaker 1: You know what, Julia, that was really responsible and kind
- 21:15Speaker 1: of you say, yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 5: That's not my attitude toward life at all.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Do you have anybody who's agreeing with you, Gabe.
- 21:23Speaker 1: We do have someone, and it was Brittany. She said,
- 21:25Speaker 1: if it's during work hours. She could always just say
- 21:29Speaker 1: she has an overload of work to get done. If
- 21:32Speaker 1: it's not work hours, then don't go. She also adds
- 21:36Speaker 1: in or go to the party with a hat and
- 21:38Speaker 1: blow a horn and celebrate that she's leaving.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Oh I kind of like that one, Yes, very I
- 21:44Speaker 2: do you know what? Petty overrides most of my lodge.
- 21:49Speaker 1: We also had Stephanie who said she needs to put
- 21:51Speaker 1: her differences aside, whether she likes him or her or not.
- 21:54Speaker 5: It's not about her and there is a point to that.
- 21:58Speaker 1: But you, like, I just don't understand why it matters,
- 22:02Speaker 1: Like I'm not even trying to be funny. If they
- 22:04Speaker 1: are leaving and you don't have to deal with them again,
- 22:05Speaker 1: who cares? If they okay?
- 22:07Speaker 4: But then what does that look like to your co workers?
- 22:10Speaker 1: That leaving and I'm happy about it. You're gonna know
- 22:15Speaker 1: what it means. And guys, we all do this. If
- 22:23Speaker 1: you're a dude listening in your car right now, you
- 22:25Speaker 1: might be you might have just saying that with your
- 22:29Speaker 1: entire heart, your whole chest, you lost all the air
- 22:33Speaker 1: in your lungs. And we asked on the Big ninety
- 22:36Speaker 1: eight point seven Facebook page specifically for the fellas. So, ladies,
- 22:39Speaker 1: if you want to know what your dude is singing
- 22:40Speaker 1: while he's vacuuming the kitchen or something and no one's home,
- 22:44Speaker 1: we found out for you with the big ninety eight
- 22:46Speaker 1: point seven Facebook page. What songs are you singing with
- 22:50Speaker 1: your entire chest? Because I do that here in the
- 22:53Speaker 1: studio every time my song comes on, which we'll have
- 22:55Speaker 1: at the end for you here. But there were a
- 22:57Speaker 1: lot of great answers. There was a lot of Stevie Nick.
- 23:00Speaker 1: We saw a lot of Joan jet On there. But
- 23:02Speaker 1: then there are some classics. Okay, for example, this one,
- 23:11Speaker 1: not surprisingly Kelly Clarkson since You've been Gone, a popular
- 23:14Speaker 1: choice amongst the fellas.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I've literally never had this song come on and
- 23:20Speaker 2: been next to a dude who didn't start singing. Yeah, right,
- 23:23Speaker 2: Like I feel like there's some it's wired into your
- 23:25Speaker 2: brain chemistry. Whatever Kelly Clarkson did with that song in
- 23:29Speaker 2: the studio.
- 23:30Speaker 1: She knew, she knew Jeff had this song, which not surprising.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Man, she black woman, you can't not sing alone.
- 23:43Speaker 4: It's so good.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I see guys that when this song comes on, especially
- 23:47Speaker 2: if you're at the bar. I mean they even like
- 23:50Speaker 2: they kick like they're trying to kick down a door.
- 23:53Speaker 1: They like stand up from their chairs, get their whole
- 23:56Speaker 1: heart and soul into it.
- 23:58Speaker 5: I was a bit surprised by this, uh, just because.
- 24:03Speaker 1: This was such a nineties two thousands baby thing.
- 24:07Speaker 5: But there are some fellows who enjoy a little bit
- 24:10Speaker 5: of this.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Help yourself, Hannah Montana Again, it's like, have you ever
- 24:19Speaker 1: seen those challenges on YouTube where they have people put.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Like like, try not to sing alone, not sing a long.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Yeah, this is another one. If you don't hit that
- 24:28Speaker 5: the best, it's impossible. It feels so good.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You almost feel empty when you don't sing along to
- 24:35Speaker 1: songs like these. And then I my answer is, I've
- 24:40Speaker 1: made it very clear here on Big ninety eight point seven,
- 24:43Speaker 1: how obsessed with this song that I am.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Oh, I can leave it alone.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I love this so much.
- 24:53Speaker 5: This is when we turn up the volume in the studio, Yes,
- 24:55Speaker 5: and you.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Just vibe all there are. That's so hard, you know.
- 25:01Speaker 4: It makes me so happy.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Something about men singing women sung songs with their whole chest.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I feel like it makes the world brighter and lighter.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And that is the kind of man I meet.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Even if you're off key. I get that it's as possible.
- 25:24Speaker 5: We hope you have a wonderful bunday or for Big
- 25:26Speaker 5: ninety eight point.
- 25:26Speaker 6: Seven, starting off the day with something good. This is
- 25:35Speaker 6: Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I wonder how he'd even go about grounding me, What
- 25:43Speaker 5: would he even do?
- 25:44Speaker 4: I'm sure he'd figure that that's right with the belt.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Adamberg is a high schooler from Minnesota and he is
- 25:51Speaker 1: traveling nearly eleven thousand miles to compete in the iron
- 25:55Speaker 1: Man South Africa race on April nineteenth. It's a grueling
- 25:59Speaker 1: event featuring a two point four mile swim, one hundred
- 26:03Speaker 1: and twelve miles worth, a bike ride, and a full marathon.
- 26:07Speaker 1: This will be his second iron Man, and while he's
- 26:10Speaker 1: focusing on finishing the race rather than winning, he's also
- 26:14Speaker 1: using the race to raise money for the rhino conservation
- 26:18Speaker 1: in South Africa. Berg's trip is both a personal challenge
- 26:22Speaker 1: and a fundraiser, with hopes of raising ten thousand dollars
- 26:25Speaker 1: to protect endangered rhinos. And he talked a little bit
- 26:29Speaker 1: about this and he said, I don't think I'm very fast.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm not too worried about my time and then after this,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'll find something else that's hard to do. This dude
- 26:37Speaker 1: is doing quite possibly one of the most daunting feats
- 26:40Speaker 1: you can physically.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Do, and for a really good come cause I love him.
- 26:45Speaker 1: What is he gonna try to do after that? Learn Punjabi?
- 26:49Speaker 1: Congratulations to this young man. That's incredible, and to try
- 26:52Speaker 1: to raise money for the rhinos in South Africa very
- 26:55Speaker 1: very commendable. The world is full of nice people. If
- 26:58Speaker 1: you can't find one, you gotta be one.
