- Powerball Reaches 232 Million! This is The Lottery Rundown for Thursday September 10th Powerball drew Wednesday night with 9, 40, 42, 55 and 65, plus Powerball 23 and a 2X multiplier. No ticket matched all six, so the jackpot survived the night. The 40 had appeared just one drawing earlier; it barely had time to take off its coat. Meanwhile, 42 returned after 17 drawings away, a more patient re-entry. Saturday’s jackpot is estimated at 232 million dollars, with a cash value of 100 million dollars. That could buy a private train upholstered entirely in corduroy. The jackpot has now rolled through 12 drawings over 28 days, still a fairly ordinary run by recent Powerball standards. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Tuesday, September 8, with 17, 30, 43, 58 and 66, plus Mega Ball 20. Nobody matched all six numbers. Seventeen is one of the five most-drawn white balls over the past six years, while 58 returned after 34 drawings away. Did you expect it back after that long? Friday’s jackpot is estimated at 209 million dollars, with a cash value of 89 million 700 thousand dollars. The jackpot has rolled through 12 drawings and 42 days, a normal-length stretch by recent Mega Millions standards.
