Latest / The Junto Podcast / E67: Epic Contradictions - A Look at Double Standards
Transcript
- 0:10Hello, America. Welcome to the Junto podcast, where we promote the practical
- 0:14applications of critical thinking and bold creativity.
- 0:18I'm your host, Edgar Mills. Thank you for joining us.
- 0:28Hello, America. Welcome back. This is episode 67, and I appreciate you guys sticking around.
- 0:35So what are we talking about today? Well, there was a spark.
- 0:39There was a little spark that launched my curiosity.
- 0:44But what we're talking about broadly is the,
- 0:50epic.
- 0:53Multi-layered.
- 0:56System of contradictions that we get from the progressive left,
- 1:00the hard left, modern leftism, democratic socialism,
- 1:08and what some people call liberalism, but it's not very liberal at all.
- 1:15And these contradictions are not just inconsistencies in their thought process.
- 1:22These are frigging foundational.
- 1:25The whole leftist ideology is built on contradiction. And I refer you back to
- 1:31my episodes on communism.
- 1:34The same people who you remember last year, a couple years ago, punch a Nazi in the face.
- 1:42Well, by that sentiment, that's awesome. But the same people say, love is love.
- 1:48Love, not hate.
- 1:51And then there are the same people, this movie that just got released a few
- 1:55weeks ago, Citizen Vigilante.
- 1:59People were screaming about how racist it is. But then they'll turn around and,
- 2:05praise and glorify Louie J.
- 2:08Mangione for assassinating a health insurance company CEO.
- 2:20So, it just depends on.
- 2:24Who it is, right?
- 2:27So, we're going to look at some of this stuff. I'm trying a new method here.
- 2:31I'm reading my notes from the computer instead of printing. I'm killing trees over here by printing.
- 2:37So, anyway, the little spark, though. What sparked me? There was a,
- 2:42and I mean this month, it just happened.
- 2:45And our Atlantis event charters, they chartered the Virgin Voyages,
- 2:52the Scarlet Lady. It's a cruise ship.
- 2:55And this is an LGB-themed cruise.
- 2:59And it had something like 1,900 passengers, all celebrating the gayness and all that.
- 3:07And mostly it was Americans and Australians. Well, they were on a cruise and,
- 3:14there was a planned stop in Turkey, like Istanbul and some other coastal spot there in India, Turkey.
- 3:25And they got turned away.
- 3:29The Turkey government would not let them dock.
- 3:35And they cited that and the Turkish government cited that that ship was known
- 3:41for behaviors that do not align with the structure of our society and our moral values.
- 3:48And that might be true, but I don't know, it's a little steep.
- 3:54And then they tried to reroute and go to Alexandria, Egypt, which back in the
- 4:00day was a vacation spot, was a go-to spot for well-to-do world travelers.
- 4:06I wouldn't think anymore. It's, I don't know. Well, they got turned away from Egypt as well.
- 4:13Turns out the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't care for gays.
- 4:18So I guess there was no pride parade on the Nile that week.
- 4:24And this was Turkish and Egyptian policy.
- 4:31This is not, and in Turkey since 2015, because both of those are Islamic countries
- 4:38and they're both very anti-homosexuality.
- 4:43And homosexuality is stigmatized heavily and criminalized heavily.
- 4:48And the thing,
- 4:51the response from that, from the progressives in the left, has been nothing.
- 4:59There's been no cries to boycott Turkey and Egypt or to bring them some kind
- 5:08of higher level of enlightenment.
- 5:11There's been no epic lectures to the governments of Turkey and Egypt.
- 5:18And all the well-to-do westernized leftist finger pointers who spend years and
- 5:26decades lecturing America and Europe on LGB rights,
- 5:34and tolerance and acceptance,
- 5:39and all that stuff.
- 5:41And they demand that we have rainbow flags in every government building and every school.
- 5:47What did they suddenly discover cultural relativism? I don't know, man.
- 5:53I guess it's okay if the rejection comes from Muslim majority nations because,
- 5:59I don't know, I guess tolerance has hard borders. I'm like America.
- 6:04Well, speaking of that.
- 6:09So the contradiction I'm pointing out there is that there's been zero outcry.
- 6:15There's been zero rebuke from the left.
- 6:22So let's look at queers for Palestine.
- 6:28Now, look, I'm not just picking on queers and LGB. I'll get to other things,
- 6:32but I just think that's one of the most glaring contradictions.
- 6:39This is the queers for Palestine. They're out there waving their rainbow flags
- 6:45alongside Palestinian flags,
- 6:47Which, by the way, the Palestinian flag was created by an English politician Anyway,
- 6:56they waved flags right alongside each other at protests And you got gays out
- 7:00there chanting from the river to the sea No idea what they're talking about,
- 7:05but they're chanting it in solidarity,
- 7:10In support of an organization.
- 7:17Hamas. In support of Hamas. That's the dominant leadership faction in Palestine.
- 7:27In Gaza and the West Bank, homosexuality,
- 7:33depending on exactly what you do, it could be a capital offense. Definitely a crime.
- 7:40Male homosexuality can get up to 10 years in prison, up to 10 years.
- 7:47And Pew Research's polls shows that somewhere around 93% of Palestinians reject homosexuality.
- 7:59That's unheard of when it comes to polling, getting a 93% rating like that.
- 8:06The Palestinians do not love the gays.
- 8:10So it blows my mind why the gays are out there marching. And I'll give you a real world example.
- 8:16I mean, obviously there are gay Palestinians, right? I mean, there's,
- 8:22however you shake it down, there are gay people everywhere. They've been murdered
- 8:27with videos out there on the internet, by the way.
- 8:32And much of the Gaza West Bank The Palestinians who are gay Where did they go?
- 8:41Yeah, they went to Israel They sought refuge in Israel Because there's a,
- 8:49polar opposite contrast in Israel They have pride parades and legal protections
- 8:54And all that stuff And in fact, in the region In a region that's Muslim, fully Muslim,
- 9:02Israel's the only nation that has decriminalized homosexuality.
- 9:08But the queers for Palestine still exist. They still persist. And...
- 9:15There are some activists out there that said they feel safer,
- 9:20in Gaza than in Israel.
- 9:24Is that right? Do you think that's true? Or is that just some hyperbolic nonsense,
- 9:30to try to get some emotionally charged?
- 9:35God dang.
- 9:37The cognitive dissonance for these people is at cosmic levels. Oh, man.
- 9:46The left's obsession with this hierarchy of oppression, right?
- 9:51So an oppressed Palestinian is higher on the hierarchy than an actual gay person's
- 10:00safety, whether they're Palestinian or not.
- 10:03I wonder how they feel about Jewish gays in Israel who are serving in the Jewish military, the IDF.
- 10:12Are they off the Christmas list? I don't know, man. So the contradiction,
- 10:18the just mind-blowing contradiction is that they support a movement that would, if given power,
- 10:28execute and imprison every queer marching with Palestine.
- 10:32And what is that? Why? I don't understand. It's just ideological masochism,
- 10:39I guess. I don't know, man.
- 10:40They're so eager to virtue signal for whoever well really whoever's the most
- 10:47anti-american gets the most sympathy i guess it's the way i think it's going down,
- 10:54all right now i'm gonna come off the gaze a little bit.
- 11:02On college campuses in America, since somewhere around the 20-teens,
- 11:12black activist students and black activist groups have made calls for race-exclusive
- 11:22spaces in order to organize and do social justice work.
- 11:29The University of Michigan Students for Justice pushed for permanent central
- 11:36campus space that was dedicated to community,
- 11:41excuse me, organizing and social justice work exclusively for black people.
- 11:47And there's been similar demands around other colleges and all over the place.
- 11:53And then there's been calls for race based housing programs and black only lounges
- 12:01and places for black people to exist,
- 12:05this is the same the people making the left the people who support this and
- 12:10call for this the same people that carry on about Jim Crow 2.0,
- 12:20but they just But all they do, all the left likes to do is rebrand.
- 12:26So they just taken the segregation and they're rebranding it as safe spaces.
- 12:31And they justify it with it's healing from oppression.
- 12:40Oh, my God. In Canada, there's some universities, I don't know how many,
- 12:45but they've added black-only swim times and lounges in their fitness and pool spaces.
- 12:55So what's the principle here? Well, the principle is segregation is evil unless
- 13:02our side does it in the name of equity.
- 13:06But that's the opposite of equity, isn't it? Now, if you use a metric of violence
- 13:12to justify segregation, well, black people commit the most violence,
- 13:17so we should segregate them over here. Oh, my God.
- 13:20The left would literally erupt in violence, ironically. Well.
- 13:29So what's the result of this particular topic?
- 13:34Well, it normalizes the idea that different races require different rules and different spaces.
- 13:42They're normalizing that, but for their own cause.
- 13:46You throw the same idea out there with a different justification in it.
- 13:50Oh, my God, the world's coming to an end.
- 13:53It's a contradiction. It doesn't jive. It doesn't make any sense.
- 13:58The civil rights movement marched and protested peacefully mind you for integration,
- 14:05and what they're calling for is the absolute opposite of that,
- 14:09and it is i hate this catchphrase but i'll say it it is what it is you can arose by any other name,
- 14:17you can call it something some semantic fucking catchphrase but it's still segregation,
- 14:24and i think it's still wrong am i am i wrong Have I missed a boat on that? I don't know.
- 14:31Madness, contradictions of epic proportions. Speaking of violence,
- 14:38mass immigration from Muslim-majority countries into Europe and the U.S.
- 14:43Since the early 2000s has been pushed hard by the progressive left.
- 14:51And they call it a moral necessity. It's a moral obligation.
- 14:56And if you question it, you're racist or xenophobic.
- 14:59But what's happening in America now and Europe, it's been, I think,
- 15:04Europe worse than America, but there are parallel lines of effort going on.
- 15:11And they're.
- 15:14Trying to pump up the numbers of Muslim elected officials in America.
- 15:20And we're seeing it most famously with Mamdani, most recently with Mamdani in New York.
- 15:28But several at local levels, right?
- 15:32Already at the national level, we have, there are four notable Muslims in the
- 15:37House of Representatives.
- 15:39An American dude named Andre, I think Andre Carson from Indiana,
- 15:45and then Ilhan Omar from Minnesota,
- 15:49Rashida Tlaib from Michigan, and then, I don't know this lady's first name,
- 15:55but Ansari in California.
- 15:59In Europe, the most famously is Sadiq Khan, who's the mayor of London,
- 16:05one of the most notable metropolitan spaces in the world.
- 16:11And you're seeing that it's not racist to think, and it's not xenophobic to
- 16:18think, that they have allegiance to a higher purpose.
- 16:24Progressive leftism is not their purpose.
- 16:29And you're going to see, well, in New York, you're already seeing all these
- 16:34socialist programs rolling out.
- 16:39Already corruption is, oh, man.
- 16:44But ultimately, you're going to see some transitions into some other things.
- 16:50So some communities, well, some communities have organized efforts to put these,
- 16:56sort of Islamist religious figures into office in the name of diversity.
- 17:03That's the cover story is diversity.
- 17:08And but but you got to look at the poll our polls the end-all be-all no but,
- 17:14pure pure research is one of the big ones and but there's others that consistently show that.
- 17:22Substantial numbers of minorities, and especially among younger generation Muslims, they favor Sharia law.
- 17:33And if they have a sympathetic view of Sharia law, eventually,
- 17:39you have people in office, and you start going to these city councils and these,
- 17:44whatnot, and they're going to start voting in these little incremental changes,
- 17:48that are consistent with Sharia law, not consistent with...
- 17:52With our Constitution.
- 17:55And these young people. They want. To have Sharia. To have a preferential role in law.
- 18:03And a lot of them cite. And that matters for like family matters. Right. In France.
- 18:09There's surveys that show half of young Muslims. Want Sharia.
- 18:13To take precedence. Over French law. In areas like marriage. Inheritance.
- 18:21Things like that. Same in Germany. But I'm going to show you a weird contradiction here.
- 18:29In the UK, there's been a famous ongoing sort of problem with rape gangs.
- 18:34Yeah, grooming gangs, they call them.
- 18:38So that shows us another layer of Islam because that is unique.
- 18:44And predominantly the perpetrators of that are Pakistani Muslims.
- 18:50And we're discovering that they've
- 18:52exploited thousands and thousands of vulnerable young English girls.
- 18:59And in England, I don't know what's going on over there. The authorities.
- 19:05Are scared to confront any brown
- 19:07person whatsoever. Because heaven forbid they'd be accused of racism.
- 19:14So meanwhile, crime just goes unchecked.
- 19:18And then you as an Englishman try to call it out and you get rolled up for being
- 19:22racist. Like literally rolled up and arrested.
- 19:27So from the 2010s onward, you can do the math and see that in England,
- 19:36the amount of Muslim population and the amount of Muslim involvement in their
- 19:43institutional failure is very,
- 19:48right their institutions are crumbling and i'm going to refer you back to the
- 19:52cloward pivot theory that i was talking about these are american people it's
- 19:57not do but it's similar right they're overwhelming their systems,
- 20:01and they're not looking at second and third order effects,
- 20:05and their and their systems are becoming overwhelmed and then their systems
- 20:08in england are just going to be taken over by muslim guided systems and then
- 20:13if you're english well you're fucked.
- 20:19Here in America, well, everywhere, progressives love to frame any discussion,
- 20:24on Muslim failure to integrate or adopt American or Western values.
- 20:35Any discussion on parallel societies and shadow governments or any discussion
- 20:42on Sharia implementation, you're just, boom, you're a bigot.
- 20:49That's it. They just throw it off, write it off. Don't examine it at all.
- 20:54Don't take it at face value and go, well, let's look into that and look at the facts.
- 20:59And all this sort of demographic and political entry into the legislature,
- 21:04right? The Muslim and Islam are getting people in these political offices.
- 21:11That is treated like it's unassailable. Well, you can't question that.
- 21:16But even as ongoing events and strategies that we see before our very own eyes
- 21:23plays out in front of us in America and Europe,
- 21:27that Muslims want to bring Islamic legal norms, i.e.
- 21:32Sharia law, to America and to Europe.
- 21:36Many of them, many of them have even stated such.
- 21:40But you get wrote off as being a bigot.
- 21:44And the progressive left don't want to look at the facts. In America,
- 21:47they just want, they see Muslims as votes.
- 21:52That's a guaranteed democratic vote, which is another contradiction, isn't it?
- 21:59If you want to compare value systems, the extremes of Sharia,
- 22:05how is that in any way compatible with progressive ideology?
- 22:11In my opinion, the contradiction is that the left, they will support anything
- 22:19that's an anti-American system of governance.
- 22:24Even if it puts Muslims in position of power, that will one day,
- 22:29sooner than later, end up hanging those same progressives from a noose on the
- 22:35end of a crane on national television.
- 22:39I say on national television on nationalized television because there won't
- 22:45be any free media anymore the contradictions are cosmic,
- 22:53i'm gonna stay on muslims a little bit and when i say muslims i'm hammering
- 22:57the progressive left here.
- 23:00I don't agree with islam but if i go to saudi arabia That's what I expect.
- 23:07I don't have to like it, but I'm now in a different country.
- 23:11I'm not going to go to Saudi Arabia, put my Trump hat and American short shorts
- 23:16on, run around screaming, change your laws.
- 23:20But the ongoing contradiction here is that progressives routinely,
- 23:29attack Christian values and influence with maximum disrespect, routinely.
- 23:39They mock believers. They want to get rid of any reference to any Christian,
- 23:47symbol or references in any school setting or any public setting.
- 23:56Frame traditional Christian views on marriage and sexuality as bigotry.
- 24:02And then they want to try to, every Christian is a secret Christian nationalist.
- 24:09That's their go-to boogeyman for Christians. Oh, the Christians are going to
- 24:12take over. It's going to be Handmaid's Tale.
- 24:16But those very, very same circles that shit on Christianity,
- 24:23defend Islam or worship, yet collaborate with Islamist movements in efforts
- 24:30to support taqiyya, right?
- 24:31The downplay, the Muslims will downplay the Islamic doctrine in the West,
- 24:39and they will owe Islam as the religion of peace.
- 24:44But their doctrine punishes, and oftentimes by death, apostasy, blasphemy.
- 24:55Of women's rights.
- 24:59What are the women's rights in an Islamist nation? They're non-existent.
- 25:04Homosexuality, punishable by death in many Muslim nations.
- 25:10Somehow Christianity is the all-powerful oppressor,
- 25:16because we say, hey, it's wrong. You know, homosexuality is wrong as per the Bible.
- 25:23But Christians still will let you live and live and let live,
- 25:26whereas Islam don't do that.
- 25:29The progressives love, like I said, the Christianity, that's the all-powerful
- 25:34oppressor, and then Islam is the oppressed, or Islam is within the group of oppressed.
- 25:41The gays are oppressed. The blacks are oppressed. Everybody that has any leftist
- 25:46ideology whatsoever, Christianity is oppressing.
- 25:50So if you're in the big victim pot, you do whatever you want.
- 25:57But why not just look at the historical and current track record of Islam?
- 26:06It's a theocracy. And furthermore, it's an authoritarian theocracy.
- 26:14And you can see it in Muslim nations around the world.
- 26:18The contradictions are so ridiculous. When it comes to the left and Islam,
- 26:23the contradictions are ridiculous.
- 26:26You can be secular, and you can reject Christianity and then somehow embrace Islam.
- 26:33And again, if they were in power here, if they were the majority power here in America,
- 26:41they would impose far more oppressive, and stringent laws to include hadud punishment
- 26:49crimes against Allah which is probably death right,
- 26:56even consistent with anti-theism, right?
- 27:00Atheism. It's not even consistent with secularism because you're supporting
- 27:06even a worse creature than what you claim to hate.
- 27:10So ultimately, what is it? It's just selective anti-Americanism. That's what it is.
- 27:16The contradictions are insane.
- 27:20All right.
- 27:22What's some other little contradictions that we see all the time?
- 27:26And I was talking about the gays and Islam and all this and that,
- 27:31and I touched on it a minute ago, but what about the feminists in America?
- 27:35What about feminism, women's autonomy and women's rights and all that stuff?
- 27:43That crashes and burns, man. As soon as you put the hijab on or the burqa,
- 27:47because that's what American feminists,
- 27:50they will cover and defend and say oh that's their choice they're empowered
- 27:57because they're making the choice.
- 28:00What about honor killings what about that what about a dad who kills his 22
- 28:07year old daughter for putting makeup on and dressing western and going out of
- 28:12the house without her cover on,
- 28:15or an American dude comes and knocks on the door to ask his daughter out for
- 28:23a date, he's not going to get punished.
- 28:27She is. And maybe by death. Honor killings, man. What about that?
- 28:32What do the feminists have to say about that?
- 28:35I don't hear progressive left feminists speaking up too much about Islam.
- 28:41I hear him speaking up all the time about Christianity.
- 28:44And along those same lines, did you know, do you, did you know that.
- 28:53General mutilation is still a thing in Muslim immigrant communities.
- 28:59Is it prevalent? I doubt it.
- 29:02And is it all Muslim communities? I doubt it. I don't know that all the whole
- 29:08Muslim faith practices that because you don't get enough information.
- 29:13There's not enough information out there about it.
- 29:16But you could argue that we're doing that in America, right?
- 29:20By doing gender transitions for minors?
- 29:25Is that not a contradiction? Cutting off a little boy's cock or putting a little
- 29:31girl on hormone blockers?
- 29:35To me, that's right up there with female genital mutilation.
- 29:39And I promise you in the Muslim communities, the females do not choose that.
- 29:44What about polygamy? Is that a feminist issue to bother with?
- 29:48I mean, I think the Mormons still do that too, right?
- 29:52Do they get shit on? I think so. Do the Muslims get shit on? I don't think so.
- 29:58Not only multiple wives, but... Well...
- 30:03Some Muslim countries, you've got 50-year-old men marrying 10-year-old girls,
- 30:09getting sold off to them for marriage or whatnot.
- 30:13So where are the feminists at on all this stuff?
- 30:16The leftist feminists, where are they at on all this stuff? Now,
- 30:20I'm not assuming all feminists are leftists.
- 30:23I'm kind of speaking in general terms, but there are libertarian and more conservative
- 30:29feminists who simply believe that women's empowerment and all that without adding
- 30:36all this political ideology onto it.
- 30:39It seems like a political thing, but it's not. It's a cultural thing.
- 30:43It's sort of about societal norms and attitudes.
- 30:48So, yeah, I'm not assuming all feminists are progressive leftists,
- 30:54but I don't hear the progressive leftists speaking up about it.
- 30:58And so the burka, I guess, depending on who, if you're on the left,
- 31:03you can say the burka empowers women. If you're on the right,
- 31:06you go, that seems very oppressive to me.
- 31:10Contradictions. So, in a whole different direction,
- 31:18what of these folks who promote and even champion drag queen story time in elementary schools and whatnot?
- 31:32And then they turn around and become speech code enforcers, and they attempt
- 31:40with all their power to deplatform anybody who disagrees or critiques,
- 31:46and then they feel like they have sole domain over defining what hate speech is.
- 31:55Completely excusing their side inciting violence or telling you to go out and kill a Nazi.
- 32:07Speaking of codes, Nazi is code for anybody who's not a progressive leftist.
- 32:13There's a contradiction there. They want it for everybody. They want to define
- 32:19and characterize what is able to be freely spoken about and critique.
- 32:26It's a contradiction. It's a gigantic contradiction.
- 32:31Free speech, by the way, is one of the only things that we're talking about
- 32:34here that shows up in our Constitution as an unassailable, unalienable right,
- 32:45not to be tampered with, not to be tinkered with free speech or some other where
- 32:53are some other unique contradictions?
- 32:59What about all these climate activists who make just unreasonable demands on
- 33:07America and Europe about the way we,
- 33:14produce energy and the way we,
- 33:19grow food and consume food even,
- 33:24and they will lecture us on sacrifice, on environmental stewardship,
- 33:31and then they will ally with China or India on some geopolitical thing.
- 33:41They'll ride along with whatever's convenient.
- 33:46Look up, go, do a Google Maps search of Mumbai or New Delhi or somewhere.
- 34:00Find one of the big cities and just kind of zoom in and look at the rivers.
- 34:05Look at the Ganges River.
- 34:08You got all the you know the liberals love the sort of Hindu sort of stuff and
- 34:14the yoga and all those those eastern influences that are all peaceful and all this and that,
- 34:22and then they're going to lecture us about environmentalism go check out the Ganges River.
- 34:30Epic contradictions what's another thing I'll tell you what let's go back to
- 34:36communism The lefty, progressive, socialist, whatnots They love to use rhetoric,
- 34:45Where they centralize the working class The working class We have to seize the
- 34:51means of production They couldn't do it without the working class,
- 34:56And they push that identity And then they push these sort of identity hierarchies That.
- 35:06Rhetorical arguments that completely disregard actual workers who just want to make a living.
- 35:16Yeah, I need a job. I want a job. Well, we got to strike. We got to come together. We got to unionize.
- 35:23But if that same worker don't use the correct pronouns or don't agree that reparations
- 35:28are a thing then that that person is cast out,
- 35:33you're cast out you're no longer a part of the victim class you're a victimizer same guy,
- 35:41two days later he's now a victimizer where he was a victim because it fed a
- 35:47narrative here but he disagrees with your narrative so now he's an oppressor,
- 35:54class warfare.
- 35:55Fuck yeah. I am going to wrap this up here. This is a minute.
- 36:04How the liberals and progressive liberals juxtapose individual liberty with
- 36:14absolute government control is beyond me. And I.
- 36:22Philosophical crux of the matter is that, well, classical liberalism,
- 36:28which I would consider myself a classical liberal, because I kind of liken that
- 36:33to libertarianism of today.
- 36:37Classical liberalism valued individual rights over state power for sure freedom
- 36:45of speech freedom of property to own property,
- 36:49freedom to exercise your own conscience as you see fit as long as it doesn't
- 36:55violate non-aggression,
- 36:57and limited government absolute minimal government That's classical liberalism.
- 37:03How the leftists got tagged with the term liberal, I don't understand.
- 37:09Modern progressivism is the opposite of everything I just said.
- 37:14They want expansive, massive state control over the means of production,
- 37:20energy, economy, health care, industry.
- 37:27They want to choose who the redistribution efforts go to, who has to give in
- 37:35order for us to decide who gets.
- 37:39Overregulating business, they do that. That's their shtick.
- 37:44Taxes, that's their shtick. They tax everything possible.
- 37:50Modern progressives are not forced free speech for everyone. It's provable.
- 37:56And they coined the term hate speech, however long ago, the 90s maybe.
- 38:06Not only want to ban certain speech, but they want to compel certain speech.
- 38:11There was a little error there, time period there, just in the past few years,
- 38:16that, heaven forbid, you misgender someone.
- 38:22Your whole life and career ruined, or never mind even by accident,
- 38:27on purpose. You're ruined.
- 38:31That's compelled speech. That's not free speech. They want to take over education.
- 38:36They want to replace actual metric, you know, what's the word I'm looking for,
- 38:41merit with DEI, proceed prop policies.
- 38:46In fact, is it Oregon, Washington State, maybe somewhere, maybe a,
- 38:54is it a mayor or is it a governor?
- 38:58They're taking away metrics for education, like testable metrics.
- 39:05So it's all kind of fluid and you there's nothing to pass or fail now there's
- 39:10different types of education out there folks but this ain't going to work out i promise you,
- 39:15everything that they've done in the great northwest has come back to bite them
- 39:18in the ass i point you to defund the police.
- 39:23Hell they even want to control biology,
- 39:25the progressive left and they want government to pay for transitions,
- 39:33and they want transitions to be able to start as a minor,
- 39:36and they want to enforce that. They want to mandate that.
- 39:40So they're the opposite of classical liberals. But when it comes to personal,
- 39:44stuff, liberties, abortion, yeah, it's your thing. You do what you want.
- 39:52So, yeah, here, we'll build a clinic for you to go shoot up in so you can have a safe place.
- 39:58Or sexuality, yes, go be as promiscuous as you want.
- 40:02Have sex with everything, everybody. Good.
- 40:06Yes, oh, it's a core personality. Yeah, it's not just a deviation. It's natural.
- 40:13Yeah, it's just a sexual orientation. You want to have sex with kids?
- 40:16Sure, sexual orientation.
- 40:19They're they're happy to be very liberal libertarian on that.
- 40:24Do what feels right do what feels good to you that's all good until what feels
- 40:30good to you is in contrast with them on everything else in a functional society,
- 40:37the left is not quite so what about controlled borders no forget it they don't
- 40:42want that you to have a functional society you need that How you control them
- 40:47is one thing. That's another argument.
- 40:50That's another chapter. That's another podcast.
- 40:54The fact is there needs to be some level of control and accountability.
- 40:58What about reducing crime? What about criminal justice reform?
- 41:03Where are they at on that? Where are all these liberal politicians on that?
- 41:07If they were serious about it, they wouldn't try to go from A to Z to completely overhaul.
- 41:15They would incrementally fix problems to a point to where you got from A to about, you know, L.
- 41:23Because there's always going to be this. So compromise is necessary,
- 41:26but they refuse. The hard right and the hard left refuse to compromise.
- 41:32What about family structure? The bedrock of our society.
- 41:36The progressive left want to get rid of it.
- 41:40They want the family structure to be the government. Thank you.
- 41:46Say, here's their favorite thing. It takes a village.
- 41:51I wish I could remember the exact quote. A liberal politician said that your children,
- 42:01that you don't have domain over your children, the government does,
- 42:06something like that. I paraphrase that.
- 42:08I wish I could remember it, though. Damn, I wish I would have looked that one up.
- 42:13I remember it. I just don't remember the The person.
- 42:17Yeah The progressive left Are not liberal They want max control And they want
- 42:24to do it Via government Via law So that now If you oppose You're insurrectionists,
- 42:32Punishable Probably by death,
- 42:35So all that You know All this stuff All these All these These little selective
- 42:41Little catchphrase Slow your body Your choice Well, that's great.
- 42:45Well, your body, your choice.
- 42:48Kill the baby if you want. What about Mead is murder?
- 42:52Don't kill the cow. You can't kill the cow.
- 42:57But you can kill the baby. So for the progressive left, the collective decides the value of life.
- 43:05And that collect as defined by the bureaucrats and the activists within the
- 43:10collective. So at some point, you, as a follower of this ideology,
- 43:16you're not a decision maker.
- 43:18So then there's going to be a hierarchy. And so up here at the very highest,
- 43:23they're still eating meat, by the way.
- 43:25They'll tell you meat is murder, but they're eating really good meat.
- 43:31And you're not going to be getting any of that. So the result of all this contradiction
- 43:37is just a jumbled and air incoherent.
- 43:46I started to hesitate to even call it a system, but it is a system.
- 43:49I think the contradictions are a part of the strategy.
- 43:53But what it truly is is authoritarianism wrapped up in the logic of,
- 44:01they use the word liberal logic, but it's not.
- 44:07I think even the word liberal is strategic to try to, because the left loves to redefine things.
- 44:14They love semantic they do the semantic battles they don't do substantive battles,
- 44:21they don't argue substance it's all semantics.
- 44:29Exactly like communism.
- 44:32Anybody who argues that the progressive left does not want full-blown communism,
- 44:38is either willfully blind or ignorant.
- 44:42So the contradictions are epic. They hate Christians. They hate Christian influence,
- 44:48which our country was founded on Christian influence.
- 44:53It was, whether you like it or not. all the men I can't remember the number
- 44:59I think all but two of the men that signed the Declaration of Independence were Christians,
- 45:04and they all at some point or another in some document or another quoted the
- 45:08influence of faith on our founding okay that's a fact,
- 45:15but the left hates the Christian influence on anything to do with government,
- 45:20but then they tolerate the import of Sharia ideology,
- 45:24And they have much, much more aggressive theocratic ambitions than the Christians do, I promise you.
- 45:31They demand segregated spaces.
- 45:37While decrying segregation. They champion the oppressed and the victim and then,
- 45:44implement policies that hurt the oppressed and the victim.
- 45:49With all this orthodoxy. Because they want a level of purity for sure,
- 45:54but they want it to be pure leftist purity.
- 46:01I think a lot of this is strategy it's not the contradictions aren't just like
- 46:06oh man they're just dumb they're not dumb,
- 46:10the people crafting all this stuff they're not dumb at all so i think it is strategy,
- 46:17and these contradictions aren't just random glitches in the thought process,
- 46:23and otherwise what they're not glitches in the solid a solid system,
- 46:30they're features of the system they're features of this ideology,
- 46:36that well really prioritizes power
- 46:39and control especially control over the narrative the way you feel and.
- 46:47Prioritize that power and that control over consistency and over actual human,
- 46:54progress, individual human progress.
- 46:58They can't stand for an individual to succeed on his own merit. They can't stand it.
- 47:04If you succeed, we got to make a policy to where everybody else succeeds.
- 47:09Well, that's impossible. So what does their policy do?
- 47:12It takes the one who succeeded and knocks them down.
- 47:15Most of these things I said, well, there's a lot of factual stuff in there that
- 47:21I stated, right? Factual stuff.
- 47:24And all those facts, however you shape them up, whatever, they don't care about
- 47:29your intersectional flow charts, right?
- 47:33These contradictions are dangerous.
- 47:36And I hope they're unsustainable. I think they're unsustainable.
- 47:39A contradiction can't last that long sooner or later somebody sees it recognizes
- 47:45it calls it out and quashes it so they're definitely dangerous,
- 47:51especially if they're done as a strategy on purpose,
- 47:54but i hope that they're unsustainable and they and that they can't they can't succeed,
- 48:00because reality does have a way about exposing that stuff reality is that one unknown it'll get you.
- 48:10With, folks, is be curious about the contradictions. If it sounds like it is
- 48:18a contradiction, be curious about it.
- 48:21Examine it, but be very skeptical of it.
- 48:26See what the deeper motives are. Is there a motive?
- 48:29Is it some accidental contradiction, or does it look like it's designed to create,
- 48:35this in order to achieve this be curious but be skeptical folks that's what
