- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Okay, when when you say that I'm reaching out to people, I have texted and called the first, I would say three-fourths who are invited to the first hour, which is our live podcast.

- 0:55SPEAKER_01: But once seven o'clock hits, everybody come.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Yes, because we'll open the rooftop, we'll have the barrel room, we'll have a lot more room to just hang out and enjoy.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Now the perk There will be some apps left, so you know, if you're hungry.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Heck yeah.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: And the perk that I think is is the one of the best perks is that anyone can win any of the prizes that we have.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, they're huge! Furniture from Elmira wholesale furniture, an overnight stay at Tyoga Downs, which includes dinner for two at PJ Clark's.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: We also have a purse, kind of like an homage to the purse party back in the day, and some other just great gift certificates that we will be giving away between seven and nine.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: And that's open for anyone.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: So come to Illegal on October 17th.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: This this will be a lot of fun.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: It really is a way we're trying to say thank you to you guys for hanging with us for 20 years, generationally, if you will.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Now we get this these text messages all morning long.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: And I I always tell uh anyone who asks about the texting thing.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: I'm like, we can see everything.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: We don't always get to respond to everything, but when we do, I love when something big comes in and we get to dive deeper into it.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: 1922 sends this text.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: What do you think?
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: I went on a brunch date last Sunday with this guy.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: We met at 10:30, split off about 12:30.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: I got the impression that we were going to see each other again, and even left it with, hey, let's text this week and see when we'll come up with a plan.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Then I made it to Oaks about 2 p.m.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: to meet up with some girlfriends, and he was there.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: He was with his guy friends watching the game, but I was surprised he never even once said hi to me.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: We made eye contact more than once.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: He still hasn't texted me, but should I still bother texting him to set up possible plans?
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: Or is that a true sign he's not interested?
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: No, that's a true sign he had guy nerves, in my opinion.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, I don't think he's interested.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, I no, I think I think what okay, so he was with his guy friends.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: You guys You're with your girlfriends.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: They they obviously didn't say, Oh, well, I'm going the conversation never grew to, it sounds like, well, what are you doing a little bit later today?
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Like the brunch ended and they went their separate ways.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: So he had no clue she was showing up.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: But then she shows up with a couple of her girlfriends or meets up with a couple of her girlfriends.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: That's a lot.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: If you're a guy, believe it or not, guys struggle with nerves too in a big way.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, I think they do.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: And uh probably more so than you'd think.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think the average impression of a guy is, oh, we're just slimy, we just want one thing.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: No, we get nervous too.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: And I think he was too nervous to walk up and say something to her because now you're intimidated.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: He got a couple girlfriends there.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: The judgment department has arrived.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: But if I wanted to seal the deal on making sure that we were still going to hang out later on this week, you could at least come over, at least say, Hey, I didn't know you were gonna be here.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Hey, it's so great seeing you.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Can't wait to talk to you later this week or whatever.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, then Marissa goes, Who is that?
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Well, she already knows who it is because I already talked to my girlfriends two days before the date, the morning before the date, took pictures of what I was wearing on the date.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: My girlfriends know every, I mean, play by play of what happened.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Well, for you, yes.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: I I I have I have double guy nerves here.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: The double guy nerve is he was nervous to go up to her.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: This is my impression.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: He was nervous to go up to her because it was intimidating, because now she's got a couple girlfriends with her.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: That's a lot to that's quite the hurdle to get through.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Like I said, the judgment department has arrived.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Two, he's still judging you because you didn't say hi to me.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: He's still nervous, which is why he hasn't reached out, because now he knows he didn't also talk to you.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: So now he would have to admit, you know, I wanted to come over, but you had your girlfriends, and you and no guy's gonna sit there and go, but I was really nervous.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Although that would probably score on points, but that's what it is, in my opinion.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: As a guy, I'm telling you what it would be.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: I think that he really didn't care if they made plans for later on in the week.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: He wasn't really that impressed with her and the brunch and the whole date, and that once he saw her, he's like, Yeah, I don't I don't really care about this.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: He's not interested, he's still not interested, and he's never gonna be interested.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: I think it's guy nerfs myself.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: What do you guys think?
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: You guys, well, this is the now we're gonna tell you text us since he didn't text her.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: But also, she could have texted him too.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: Well, yes, of course, but he also didn't even come up to say hi.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: I just told you why.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: The judgment department walked in.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: That is a lot to get over.
