Transcript
- 0:00Hey, friends, today we're going to catch up with Evangelist and Pastor, Teacher of
- 0:04Pastures, Elijah Abraham of Living Oasis Ministries, that's next.
- 0:10Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:20defending biblical Christianity, no topic off limits.
- 0:26And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:30Hey, friends, thanks so much for tuning in, and if you've been following us for a while,
- 0:35you know we catch up with an amazing brother in Christ, Elijah Abraham, former Muslim,
- 0:41and for decades now he's been teaching the biblical worldview, traveling overseas constantly
- 0:47in such a busy man and high demand, and we do not show his picture for security reasons.
- 0:54And just for our newer audience, I know there are a lot of new viewers and just to let
- 0:59you know, so Elijah is so good to have you back with his brother, looking forward to
- 1:03catching up.
- 1:04It's always great to be with you brother, it's wonderful and I appreciate the opportunity,
- 1:08thank you.
- 1:09All right, thank you for your time.
- 1:11So we are going to get to your response to President Trump and the New Administration,
- 1:18some of the progress already.
- 1:21And also we're going to talk about a disturbing thing, the National Cathedral and the Bishop,
- 1:27the female Bishop, Mary Ann Edgar Bud or Booty, whatever her name is, just the disappointing,
- 1:33we got a clip of what she, she was preaching for those of you that didn't see it, she was
- 1:37preaching at Trump in advance about their policies when it comes to LGBTQ when it comes
- 1:43to legal immigration and on and on.
- 1:46So we're going to get to that in a minute.
- 1:47Elijah, I want to find out first of all your recent trip and then what are you preparing
- 1:51for?
- 1:52So let's start with where are you heading in the near future and then we'll go to your
- 1:56recent travels.
- 1:57Yeah, I appreciate you asking the question, actually I am in my final stages of preparing
- 2:04my teaching materials, I'm going to be going to Eastern Europe, I'll be gone for six weeks,
- 2:10I'll be going to four countries, I'll leave March 4th, return April 14th, I believe.
- 2:18I'll be going to Poland, Romania, Moldova and of course, Romania, Ukraine.
- 2:25This will be my third trip to Ukraine, we've been doing a lot of humanitarian work.
- 2:31Lord really blessed our ministry and effort that way through our ministry partners and donors
- 2:37to help feed and sustain many of the widows and orphans as well as those who are staying
- 2:43behind near the front lines and these villages.
- 2:47So praise the Lord for that.
- 2:51As I'm really hopeful, now President Trump in the White House truly believed that this
- 2:57war will come into an end real soon and then our ministry will do a little bit of humanitarian
- 3:04until things kind of get stabilized and then our ministry will change into equipping
- 3:09the new leaders because during the war, half of the pastors left the country or died because
- 3:16they were recruited because they meant to go to war and so forth but just like what
- 3:21we experienced and we saw in Middle East and other parts of the world when people go
- 3:26through war they start seeking the true God and God responds that way and we've seen
- 3:33many people getting saved.
- 3:35I'm talking about about the thousands in Ukraine as well as we saw that in Middle East.
- 3:42So in Ukraine we're trying to prepare new leadership to disciple and lead these new believers
- 3:51and our role and I'm sure I'm not the only one going to Ukraine as far as ministry but
- 3:56our role is truly to help these young believers to grow spiritually but those who got called
- 4:02to ministry, help them and equip them to lead their own people.
- 4:07So when is this next trip, Elijah, when will that be?
- 4:10Yeah, I'll leave March 4th, I'll give office six weeks.
- 4:14My wife will join me the last two weeks of the trip and will continue in that journey
- 4:21and we of course my wife will reach out and minister to the women and the churches that
- 4:26we minister to, mainly in those countries I'll do conferences to pastors as well as
- 4:33elders and seminary students, topics anywhere from apologetics and Muslim evangelism to
- 4:40biblical theology and foundations, eschatology definitely there and biblical counseling.
- 4:48You have no idea how biblical counseling is needed overseas and I know it's needed
- 4:53here in America but over there I remember the first time I went to Eastern Europe in
- 5:002019 in Moldova and never been to Moldova and never heard of Moldova until they told
- 5:05me where.
- 5:06I said what can I do for you and I sent them some information and topic, they said teach
- 5:10us how to deal with suicide, help us understand depression, how to deal with this, how to
- 5:16deal with somebody who would have a critical spirit, how to deal with anger, I said oh,
- 5:21okay, well let's see what the Bible have to say about these things.
- 5:25So I have to go back to my books and study and I got a dear friend of mine, she does have
- 5:29ministry, she's got wonderful counseling center and I asked her if I could use some of
- 5:33her materials, she said glory to God.
- 5:36So it's been a blessing, eschatology definitely a hot topic because as you know for the
- 5:42last four years, five years with COVID and by the administration and all of the nonsense
- 5:48that the world has to go through, people are very much anxious, afraid, don't know uncertain
- 5:55of the future, but for the believers, they should not have these feelings why because
- 6:00we got the Bible, but nobody teaches them about eschatology from scripture point of view.
- 6:06So that's been really a great blessing to see the light comes on in their head, they
- 6:10get excited, I had pastors and leaders when finally they get into teaching, they stop
- 6:17me, they stand, say sing, they dance, they say hallelujah, some of them cry, it's just amazing,
- 6:24it's just amazing.
- 6:26Wow, faith over fear, powerful, powerful, the warnings, without warnings, but just the
- 6:31admissions of fear not all throughout scripture, so important.
- 6:35But yeah, especially the persecuted church, persecuted pastors, you know, talking about
- 6:41biblical heaven, talking about the second coming, talking about the rapture, it's all about
- 6:46hope that God is going to set the record straight and his righteousness is coming and we have
- 6:52an inheritance to be with him.
- 6:54And that by itself helps the persecuted Christians, so you know what?
- 6:58I can handle the persecution, God is going to give me grace every day, but this is temporary,
- 7:03my home is with the Lord, I'm just an alien here, a traveler, so they can deal with it.
- 7:09So it's a blessing.
- 7:11So by the way, friends, the website, you can get more on Elijah's ministry at livingauesis.org.
- 7:17That's livingauesis.org.
- 7:20So let's briefly, just on Ukraine, just for another couple of minutes Elijah, I know this
- 7:25is speculation, but I'm asking you, and I know you're not a prophet, but I'm asking you
- 7:31to give us an idea of what you might expect come March when you're over in the Ukraine.
- 7:38I know a lot could happen based on Trump's communication with Putin and Zelensky and all
- 7:44that.
- 7:45I mean, a lot could happen.
- 7:46It's just the end of January here.
- 7:48So just give us your thoughts on how that might change even your trip.
- 7:52Well, I'm watching this really carefully and Zelensky's already started losing support.
- 8:00We already started seeing some European countries saying, you know what, we're not going
- 8:05to support the Ukrainian war effort.
- 8:08We cannot afford it.
- 8:09We're not going to give any money and so forth.
- 8:12Zelensky, I think he gave an interview yesterday or today or last 48 hours anyway.
- 8:18And basically say, well, our main partner is the United States.
- 8:22We need more troops, blah, blah, blah.
- 8:24He's desperate.
- 8:26And he's recognizing that the deep state is not in the White House.
- 8:32And President Trump has no interest in carrying on with this war.
- 8:37Actually, I'm sure you've seen his post to Vladimir Putin and others say, let's stop
- 8:44this killing and let's do it the easy way.
- 8:47But if you want to do it the hard way, we could do the hard way.
- 8:50And that's a good thing.
- 8:51It's like a shot across the bow to both like, okay, you need to come to the table and
- 8:55let's make a deal.
- 8:57So that's my hope that this war will be over by the time I get there.
- 9:05Which I think the fast pace of the Trump administration, just for the last few days, I think it will
- 9:13be over Lord willing and that will make our ministry and other ministries and the rebuilding
- 9:20and it will be a lot easier.
- 9:23So that's my hope.
- 9:26Oh my goodness.
- 9:27When you said rebuilding and just what the people, the people there, you know, this isn't
- 9:32their fault that this war especially the church there, that's yeah, they lost a whole
- 9:38generation.
- 9:39I mean, a huge population of men.
- 9:41So here is, here's Zelensky asking, let's continue with the war, who's going to find
- 9:47it?
- 9:48Yeah.
- 9:49So basically he's asking foreign troops or missionaries to come fight his war.
- 9:54Well, some missionaries, you know, missionaries, they did it and they got hammered.
- 10:00They got killed a lot of them.
- 10:03But as far as military, I know France wanted to go and everybody else and out of things
- 10:07are going to happen.
- 10:08So yeah, he's going to have no other option but come to the table and definitely he's
- 10:14not going to regain the land that he lost and for every for a very good reason because
- 10:21this is a Russian population areas that he cut off water, cut off electricity, basically
- 10:29cut off food before the war I'm talking about.
- 10:32Even the Azerbaijan battalion, that was a Nazi battalion, bombed them a number of times.
- 10:38That's why that Putin took over Crimea to really to save the population, they were hammered.
- 10:47So Putin not going to give those territories and I believe President Trump is understand
- 10:54that and he's going to convince Zelensky, hey, take the losses and stop.
- 11:01So hopefully that's the case.
- 11:02But nobody asked me for my opinion except you.
- 11:05Yeah.
- 11:06Well, we hope so too.
- 11:07I think most people would think, yeah, we want this to come to an end and just it's been
- 11:12just so tragic and if Trump was in office, who knows, we can just speculate that the
- 11:18war probably wouldn't have even happened, Putin probably wouldn't have even invaded
- 11:22Ukraine.
- 11:23Because the issue, I truly believe that the media had a big huge part of it as well.
- 11:28Here in America, they never told the true story, I've seen it and I know what the story
- 11:32is.
- 11:33And when I went to Eastern Europe and I've seen the East European Christians forget about
- 11:38the rest of the population, but the Christians brought into the propaganda as well because
- 11:42that's all the media they have.
- 11:44So it's really sad.
- 11:46So I had to be very careful when I'm in Eastern Europe and talk to my partners, the Christian
- 11:51partners about this situation because they are middle of it, they're close to it.
- 11:56But all I had to do, it just asked them some really key, wonderful questions that makes
- 12:01them stop and think, oh, I did not know this, I did not know this.
- 12:05So I'm helping them slowly open the window, even when I went to Southeast Asia, to
- 12:11Indonesia.
- 12:12The past is there, they have a whole different opinion of President Trump, which is a liberal
- 12:18American media being exported over there.
- 12:22And that's how the view President Trump.
- 12:24So when I asked some questions, they said, well, we did not know that.
- 12:27How do we know that?
- 12:28They said, well, you guys are pastors, you ought to know and thinking hats on, don't
- 12:33believe everything, this is all propaganda.
- 12:36And I'm not here just defending Trump, what I'm saying is truth is truth.
- 12:41Whatever you hear and watch, put your thinking hats on, take it for granted, do your research
- 12:47and don't believe everybody.
- 12:49And that's what I tell my pastors that I train as a look.
- 12:52Yes, just because I came from America and I'm teaching you this, don't just take my
- 12:56work for it.
- 12:57I got a screen here, the projector, all the notes.
- 13:02And everything is, I got the references in the Bible.
- 13:04So when you have the notes translated in your language, do your research and it's from
- 13:09scripture.
- 13:10If what I said, it's not in the Bible, take what I said and throw it out of the window.
- 13:15So it's, it's, we have to kind of put our thinking hats on and I think in America as
- 13:19well, many Christians being deceived.
- 13:22So Elijah, I wasn't planning on asking you this, but I just with all the executive orders
- 13:28that I believe most of them out of necessity, this president, president, Trump had to do
- 13:34and it was compelled to do by the voters, one of them.
- 13:38And I don't know how much we've talked about this or not, but the gender ideology, one
- 13:42of them to have to actually say as president, this is the policy that we are supporting
- 13:49and endorsing that there are only two genders, male and female.
- 13:55I mean, that got the loudest applause, I think, in his state of the union, I'm not
- 14:00saying to the union, in his, when he was inaugurated, I think that got one of the loudest
- 14:04responses in all the places people were watching.
- 14:07And you think, wow, what would our great grandparents think?
- 14:11Why would it be necessary for a president to have to state this?
- 14:18Go ahead and then we'll take a break.
- 14:19Yeah, I totally agree with you.
- 14:21I mean, why doesn't it have to take a president to say this and take this action?
- 14:26And the reason that he got the loudest applause because everybody realized this is insane,
- 14:32this is not normal, it's illogical and it's not natural.
- 14:36And all of that is being pushed on populations, whether it be a believer or non-believer and
- 14:41pushed around the world, exported around the world.
- 14:45And finally, the people said, finally we have somebody have the guts to say enough with
- 14:50this nonsense, it's black and white, male and female, that's it.
- 14:54So praise the Lord, I was excited about that.
- 14:58Yeah, me too.
- 14:59And just, it's just really astounding that it, this, driving these conversations, but we're
- 15:03going to take a brief pause, living oasis.org, is the website will be right back with Elijah
- 15:08Abraham.

- 16:18growth and for your prayers.
- 16:20So Elijah Abraham is with us.
- 16:23He's in Texas, between ministry trips, and one more follow-up question Elijah about the
- 16:29gender ideology.
- 16:32The countries that you go and visit, does this ever come up, or what do they think?
- 16:38What do they believe in Moldova or Ukraine, or places that you go about what is going
- 16:43on in America with gender ideology and drag queens?
- 16:47And what?
- 16:48Go ahead.
- 16:49Yeah, they think that Americans lost their mind.
- 16:52Literally.
- 16:53They say, I don't know what's going on in America.
- 16:56I pray for us, because we have a delusional spirit that has taken the land.
- 17:01And it's an anti-Christ spirit that hates Jesus, hate the church, hate humanity, hate marriage,
- 17:07and that's why Satan wanted the loot marriage, wanted the identity of a male and female.
- 17:14So let's mix them all together, hybrid humanity, all of that nonsense.
- 17:18And they think that we just lost our mind, just to give an example that the United States
- 17:23and the United Nations blackmail other countries, giving an example in Uganda when they tried
- 17:29to push this homosexual marriage and homosexual ideology.
- 17:33This has been going on for a number of years.
- 17:35And Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world.
- 17:38And they have to depend on financial aid or United Nations and so forth.
- 17:41So when they tried to push that, and the president, they said, no, it's a marriage between
- 17:46male and female, we're not going to do this.
- 17:48And actually they persecuted and prosecuted homosexuals.
- 17:53And guess what they did, the United States and the United Nations, they stopped threatening
- 17:58them to take their aid away from Uganda.
- 18:03And it's interesting.
- 18:04I think one of the, I don't know if it's the same president, but he said, we would rather
- 18:07die pure and moral than rich and immoral.
- 18:11I was like, hey, wow, that's the view.
- 18:15So of course, when you go to some countries like Thailand and other places, Thailand was
- 18:21way ahead of the West and America and transgenderism and sex change operations.
- 18:29The perversion there, it's way on steroids, let's put it this way.
- 18:34Okay.
- 18:35Other countries?
- 18:36They don't care.
- 18:37Okay.
- 18:38So now, one thing I wanted to talk to you about, speaking of delusion and apostasy, let's
- 18:46guys play this clip from the quote unquote sermon that was preached at President Trump
- 18:54and JD Vance at the National Cathedral.
- 18:57Go ahead.
- 18:58In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country.
- 19:06We're scared now.
- 19:10There are gay, lesbian and transgender children in democratic, republican and independent families,
- 19:20some who fear for their lives.
- 19:24In the people, the people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings, who labor
- 19:30in poultry farms and meat packing plants, who wash the dishes after we eat in restaurants
- 19:36and work the night shifts in hospitals, they may not be citizens or have the proper documentation.
- 19:46But the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals.
- 19:50They pay taxes and are good neighbors.
- 19:54They are faithful members of our churches and mosques, synagogues, udara and temples.
- 20:02Okay, Elijah, where do you start with this?
- 20:06But I just want to share a quote from Charlie Kirk and let you take it away.
- 20:11He said, Bishop Marianne Edgar Booty is the bishop of the Episcopal diocese of Washington.
- 20:16He's the first woman to hold the position.
- 20:18She was given a great honor, a chance to unify America around a Christian message at the
- 20:24dawn of a new administration.
- 20:26Instead, she disgraced herself with a lecture you'd hear on CNN or an episode of The View.
- 20:34What an embarrassment, Elijah, go ahead.
- 20:37Well, the first is disrespectful.
- 20:40You have a new, duly elected president sitting in the church.
- 20:45He came to give thanks to God and hear you as a representative, supposedly the representative
- 20:50of God to open God's word and give thanks to God and say, what God have to say.
- 20:55Leave your politics out of it.
- 20:57But could you imagine what the media will do and the view on all of these left media would
- 21:04have said if Obama sit in there and somebody from that pulpit chastises him about what
- 21:12Obama's agenda?
- 21:13If you imagine what would happen to that person or how they're going to blanket all Christians
- 21:19who have this view because we're all divisive and big hits and all of that stuff.
- 21:24So, it's really, she was out of line and has something else.
- 21:28You remember what they say that politics should not be preached from the church or from the
- 21:32pulpit.
- 21:33That's right.
- 21:34The separation church has stayed.
- 21:35What is she is?
- 21:37It's like really?
- 21:39So, and that's really should be a message to pass us in America.
- 21:44What are you afraid of?
- 21:46Speak the culture.
- 21:49Talk about what's happening in the culture.
- 21:51Speak biblically in love, but truth, but also call a spade a spade.
- 21:57If you have two candidates, look, I'm not saying that Trump is my savior.
- 22:05Jesus Christ is my lord and savior, but between him and Kamala or before Kamala is Biden,
- 22:14that's like the options.
- 22:15What did they stand for?
- 22:16Which have as close as to my biblical world, that's the person I'm going to vote for.
- 22:21But you need to tell the congregation that.
- 22:24You need to explain you as a pastor, what do you stand?
- 22:27But unfortunately, major pastors in America, not all, but majority of them, brought into
- 22:33the idea of separation church of state, which is one, unbiblical, two, is not in the Constitution.
- 22:39And the founding fathers, that was not the intention about this letter, and you know that
- 22:43letter about the separation church of state.
- 22:46So they brought into the lie and second, they are hostages to the IRS because of the
- 22:51501c3 non-profit status.
- 22:54So my question is, you heard me say this, this is my soap opera box, my question is,
- 23:00my question is, since when, can you show me, since when, why the church of the living
- 23:06God survived for 1950 years without the IRS?
- 23:12How come all of a sudden, for the last 50, 60 years, the church cannot plant a church
- 23:16or establish without a paper from a hidden institution called the IRS to start, to open their doors
- 23:23to be non-profit?
- 23:24The second question to that, would the church members go to that church and still give
- 23:29their time, knowing that they're not going to get tax deduction if the church says we
- 23:34don't want to be non-profit or have a 410c3 because we're a church of the living God,
- 23:39we acknowledge by the Constitution that it says to assembly as a church because it is
- 23:45survived from 1776 to 1950s with Lyndon B. Johnson.
- 23:50So I'm not, I was not even born in America, I know this.
- 23:54But where are the church members or the church leaders in America?
- 23:57How come they don't stand up?
- 24:00That's what I like about Paul Blair, which you know him very well, with the black robe
- 24:04regimen and so forth, that's what they've been talking about, it's trying to raise awareness.
- 24:09Yeah, we need more bondhoffers, silence in the face of evil is itself evil.
- 24:14But second Timothy 3.5 comes to mind, have these women bishop, having a form of godliness
- 24:21but denying its power, have nothing to do with such people.
- 24:25One more quote and I'll get your response, we've got to wrap it up in three minutes, Elijah
- 24:28Abraham.
- 24:30This is from Eric Mataxis, who said, a woman can't be bishop, let's just start there.
- 24:36And a Christian cannot believe God makes us gay or lesbian or transgender.
- 24:41That is a lie in complete contradiction to what the Bible says.
- 24:45The Piscopal church turned its back on God decades ago and this sermon in Eric quotes
- 24:52was proof.
- 24:54Your thoughts?
- 24:55I totally agree.
- 24:56I totally agree.
- 24:57I mean, if you look at the qualification of a bishop slash elder, it's a man.
- 25:04It's not there, a woman, it's the same thing with prophets.
- 25:08If you look at the Old Testament and the New Testament, all the prophets were men, an exception
- 25:13with Deborah.
- 25:14And the reason with that, if you know your biblical history, because there were no men
- 25:18in all of Israel really seeking after God except Deborah and God used her because he had
- 25:24to use somebody and he did with her to appoint Barack to lead God's army to fight the fight.
- 25:32However, that's an exception, it's not in the rule.
- 25:35So are there deaconesses, women?
- 25:38Yes, but not elders to teach and preach the Word of God.
- 25:42So this modern day, you know, women pastors, and I know I'm going to be chastised over
- 25:48it, but for me, hey, it's not me, it's God's Word, your fight is not with me, it's with
- 25:52God's Word and Jesus.
- 25:54So take a fight with him, don't take it with me.
- 25:57Just because I don't agree with your worldview of when the 21st century we were in modern
- 26:03church and we should allow women, they're great teachers.
- 26:06Of course, there's a lot of there are a whole lot better Bible teachers than some of the
- 26:10men I came across, but the Bible is Bible and the authority is authority, you will have
- 26:15to go through that.
- 26:16Amen.
- 26:17So there are warnings about the philosophies of this world and warnings about the church
- 26:22conforming to the world, Elijah, one minute, how's your health and how can people be praying
- 26:28for you as you get ready for your next trip?
- 26:31Well, as I get older, you know, things don't fall on the part, as you know, yeah, thank
- 26:36you for asking that question.
- 26:38Yeah, physical health is important and I'm trying to stay healthy and watch my diet and
- 26:44so forth.
- 26:45In my back, I always have chronic back pain since 1997, but by God's grace, I continued
- 26:50to do what I do and I've been in 51 countries, praise the Lord for that, and counting.
- 26:56Pray for my family because we always under attack.
- 26:59When you in the ministry, you constantly under spiritual attack, pray for funding because
- 27:04our ministry, we help overseas pastors, as well as humanitarian work like Indonesian
- 27:13and Ukraine and other places, but also because of the inflation, we lost some supporters,
- 27:18but by God's grace, we are still here.
- 27:21So I appreciate the question and I appreciate your listeners and prayer is number one need
- 27:28for us.
- 27:29Thank you, brother.
- 27:30We appreciate your time.
- 27:31We will do this again.
- 27:32Thanks so much for all you do.
- 27:35I appreciate you, man.
- 27:36Thank you so much and I'm really proud of you and you're a good soldier to stand beside
- 27:40me.
- 27:42May Christ be praised.
- 27:43Friends, thank you so much for sharing the podcast.
