  Speaker 1: Thank you.
• 0:21
Speaker 2: Hey, I do part two. It's Bachelor Nation alum Joan
• 0:25
Speaker 2: Bassos and Kathy Swartz. We are back to bring you
• 0:28
Speaker 2: the latest headlines in chapter two. We've got a little
• 0:31
Speaker 2: bit of everything today from honoring a past partner to
• 0:35
Speaker 2: true crime and some celebrity dating news, of course. So, Kathy,
• 0:39
Speaker 2: I am excited about this episode. There's some really interesting
• 0:42
Speaker 2: stuff in here. Let's get right to it. What do
• 0:44
  Speaker 2: you think?
• 0:44
Speaker 1: I think we should. We got all kinds of divorce
• 0:47
Speaker 1: stories and then some. So get to it. Let's go.
• 0:50
Speaker 2: Okay. Well, I love doing this story because I was
• 0:52
Speaker 2: actually with Whitney Rose recently. So Whitney Rose is officially
• 0:57
Speaker 2: ending her marriage to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake
• 0:59
Speaker 2: City star filed for divorce from her husband, Justin Rose
• 1:03
Speaker 2: in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, October 6th. Just happened
• 1:07
Speaker 2: after nearly 17 years of marriage. People confirms. They tied
• 1:11
Speaker 2: the knot in 2009. Whitney, 40, also filed a parenting
• 1:15
Speaker 2: plan for her two kids, son Brooks, 13, and daughter Bobby, 16.
• 1:20
Speaker 2: Page Six was the first to report the news. A
• 1:22
Speaker 2: rep for Whitney did not immediately respond to people's requests
• 1:25
Speaker 2: for comment. So I'm thinking, gosh, I remember when the
• 1:28
Speaker 2: story started and their kids were little, little, little. So
• 1:31
Speaker 2: they're growing up. The divorce filing comes three months after
• 1:35
Speaker 2: a source close to the couple told people that the
• 1:37
Speaker 2: pair were living separately. They have been living separate lives
• 1:40
Speaker 2: for a while now and rarely see each other, the
• 1:43
Speaker 2: source said in July. There wasn't one dramatic moment. It
• 1:45
Speaker 2: was a gradual breakdown after years of trying to make
• 1:48
Speaker 2: things work, said the source. One contributing factor was financial strain.
• 1:53
Speaker 2: And like, I feel like I need to talk about this,
• 1:55
Speaker 2: the insider said, which took a major toll on them.
• 1:57
Speaker 2: Their financial struggles were documented in recent seasons of Real
• 2:01
Speaker 2: Housewives of Salt Lake City, and their recent relationship troubles
• 2:05
Speaker 2: are currently playing out on season seven of the Bravo
• 2:09
Speaker 2: reality show. The source also said that at the time
• 2:12
Speaker 2: that the couple's priority was their kids. They're trying to
• 2:14
Speaker 2: handle this with as much respect as possible. Their children
• 2:17
Speaker 2: remain their biggest priority, and they're committed to keeping things
• 2:20
Speaker 2: as peaceful as they can. Along with Brooks and Bobby,
• 2:23
Speaker 2: Whitney was stepmom to Justin's three sons from a previous marriage, Austin, Trey,
• 2:28
Speaker 2: and Christopher. You know, it's funny that... They're talking about
• 2:31
Speaker 2: those three kids because Whitney and I talked a lot
• 2:34
Speaker 2: about her being a stepmom to kids who are in
• 2:37
  Speaker 2: their 30s and she's only 40. Right. Like what a
• 2:41
Speaker 2: weird dynamic kind of in that household with those kids,
• 2:45
  Speaker 2: you know?
• 2:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I agree. I think one of the stranger
• 2:49
Speaker 1: things is that they're saying they want to keep things
• 2:53
Speaker 1: great for the kids, their priorities, the kids. And yet
• 2:56
Speaker 1: they say they haven't seen each other in a very
• 2:58
Speaker 1: long time. So how is that normal for kids when
• 3:03
Speaker 1: you don't see each other? Even what, on the changeover,
• 3:05
Speaker 1: they throw the kids to the curb? I mean, you know,
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 3:08
Speaker 2: I feel like that's really weird. And the kids are
• 3:10
Speaker 2: certainly going to notice. I mean, they're teenagers. Their parents
• 3:12
Speaker 2: aren't together. So as normal as that can be, I
• 3:15
Speaker 2: don't think it's that normal. But, you know, I do
• 3:18
Speaker 2: remember even in college. Earlier episodes of Real Housewives of
• 3:22
Speaker 2: Salt Lake City, maybe from a couple years back, there
• 3:25
Speaker 2: was a whole chunk of episodes that.
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: Talked about.
• 3:32
Speaker 2: Her starting a business called Wild Rose.
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 3:36
Speaker 2: And he was funding it. I remember that he had
• 3:40
Speaker 2: the idea to make this an MLM. And she... was
• 3:46
Speaker 2: not really great about that, but she followed him into this.
• 3:49
Speaker 2: And that is eventually, I think, what took the business down.
• 3:51
Speaker 1: Well, first of all, should people go into business together?
• 3:55
Speaker 1: That's the first issue because now we have a situation
• 3:58
Speaker 1: where the business has failed, the marriage has failed. My
• 4:02
Speaker 1: husband and I had an LLC, Limited Liability Corporation. But
• 4:07
Speaker 1: the difference was we each had our own businesses under
• 4:10
Speaker 1: the umbrella of that. I cannot imagine... what it would
• 4:14
Speaker 1: be like to have a business, in this case, it failed.
• 4:18
Speaker 1: But can you imagine sharing a business and then you
• 4:21
Speaker 1: get divorced and you're trying to put the kids first?
• 4:23
Speaker 1: I mean, it sounds like a nightmare to me.
• 4:25
Speaker 2: I also think it's a hard business to be in.
• 4:27
Speaker 2: There are so many makeup brands out there now. I mean,
• 4:30
Speaker 2: you probably get as many packages in the mail on
• 4:33
Speaker 2: your doorstep. I mean, weekly with a different face cream
• 4:37
  Speaker 2: and a different mascara. And I think it's a hard
• 4:39
Speaker 2: business to be in. And she was also like, the
• 4:42
Speaker 2: kids were little when she was starting this. I remember
• 4:44
Speaker 2: when this show first started, her kids were little, teeny, like,
• 4:46
Speaker 2: you know, like in little ballet tutus and just little ones. So.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: I think, I do think that, I mean, they say
• 4:53
Speaker 1: financial strain is one of the biggest things that breaks
• 4:55
Speaker 1: up marriages. I've read that many times. So You know,
• 4:58
Speaker 1: that's that's unfortunate, but still wishing them best and all
• 5:01
Speaker 1: the kids. You know, I hope it comes out OK
• 5:04
Speaker 1: for the kids because they didn't ask for this. OK,
• 5:07
Speaker 1: let's move on. Our next story is Kyle Cook gives
• 5:12
Speaker 1: his latest divorce update and it might shock some Summer
• 5:15
Speaker 1: House fans. Nine months after the Summer House star and
• 5:19
Speaker 1: his wife of four years, Amanda Batula, announced their breakup.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: Kyle addressed the real reason he and his ex still
• 5:26
Speaker 1: haven't officially filed for divorce. He said, it's been a
• 5:30
Speaker 1: little slow going. She was busy and I was busy,
• 5:32
Speaker 1: the DJ told E! News in an exclusive interview during
• 5:37
Speaker 1: Page Six's Virtual Reality Tea Awards 2026 at New York
• 5:41
Speaker 1: City's Edison Ballroom on September 6th. Quote, we're still working
• 5:46
Speaker 1: on the details of that. And even though Amanda, 35,
• 5:50
Speaker 1: moved on some time ago with their former co-star, Wes Wilson,
• 5:54
Speaker 1: Kyle isn't rushing to become legally single again. And he says,
• 5:59
Speaker 1: it's never fun to have those formal talks. And maybe
• 6:01
Speaker 1: there's the side of us that put it off a
• 6:04
Speaker 1: little bit, the 44-year-old confessed. But yeah, we will eventually
• 6:07
Speaker 1: make it formal and sign on the dotted line. I
• 6:10
Speaker 1: don't know about you, Joan, but I find that a
• 6:13
Speaker 1: little strange. Are you in or are you out? And
• 6:17
Speaker 1: if you're out, why aren't you out?
• 6:19
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: I just find that a little strange. What do you think?
• 6:24
Speaker 2: I totally agree with you, especially since they're, you know,
• 6:26
  Speaker 2: they're living in a very public way. I mean, they're
• 6:28
  Speaker 2: on summer house.
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 6:29
Speaker 2: So yeah, everybody knows it's happening and that they just like,
• 6:32
Speaker 2: it just sounds like he's saying, Oh, we got a
• 6:34
Speaker 2: little lazy. We don't really, we just never got around
• 6:37
Speaker 2: to it. I mean, that's kind of like, come on, being,
• 6:38
  Speaker 2: being adult.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: Or Joe, it's giving prenup vibes and there's going to
• 6:42
Speaker 1: be a big argument about money and let's, you know, let's.
• 6:44
Speaker 2: There was pre like, so a lack of prenup, maybe, um,
• 6:48
Speaker 2: I agree with you that they don't, he said like,
• 6:50
Speaker 2: that's a hard conversation to have. So I totally agree
• 6:52
Speaker 2: with that, but come on, let's, Let's be adults.
• 6:55
Speaker 1: Okay, so he went on to say, the logistics aside,
• 6:58
Speaker 1: Kyle entered this year's Hamptons share house feeling totally single
• 7:03
Speaker 1: and ready to mingle while filming season 11. He said,
• 7:06
Speaker 1: I carried a lot of stress these last many years.
• 7:09
Speaker 1: The bra-velebrity reflected to E. It truly felt like a
• 7:13
Speaker 1: weight had been lifted and I could let my hair down. Well,
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: I don't have a mullet anymore, but I could just
• 7:19
Speaker 1: be myself again. and not have to apologize for everything.
• 7:22
Speaker 1: I had a lot of fun, the lover boy founder added.
• 7:26
Speaker 1: I feel like we returned to the roots of the
• 7:28
Speaker 1: show to some extent. Everybody entered single, which is a first.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: So it's no shocker that Kyle fully embraced his hot
• 7:35
Speaker 1: boy summer these past few months. Everybody keeps telling me
• 7:39
Speaker 1: this is exactly what I should be doing, he said.
• 7:42
Speaker 1: I feel so fortunate to be traveling and filming and
• 7:45
Speaker 1: everything in between. As for his co-stars, Lindsay Hubbard echoed
• 7:48
Speaker 1: Kyle's sentiments about the upcoming fun-filled season. She said it
• 7:52
Speaker 1: makes for a great TV show when there's lots of
• 7:55
Speaker 1: singles in the house every weekend. Lindsay did tell me
• 7:58
Speaker 1: before cheekily adding of her longtime BFF. Kyle is a
• 8:02
Speaker 1: great wingman. I mean, OK.
• 8:05
Speaker 2: So I was at that award ceremony and he got
• 8:09
Speaker 2: the award for there was like like new hottest guy.
• 8:13
Speaker 2: And they showed a lot of pictures of him shirtless.
• 8:15
Speaker 2: I think he's like in his Playboy era and he's
• 8:18
Speaker 2: embracing it. And like he I think he thinks everybody
• 8:21
Speaker 2: knows he's single. And so like actually filing for the
• 8:23
Speaker 2: divorce is not like a big deal because it's kind
• 8:25
  Speaker 2: of well known.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: OK, well, I I'm going to argue that it is
• 8:30
Speaker 1: a big deal. for the next woman he finds. But
• 8:34
Speaker 1: either way, if you're single, you're single. And if you're not,
• 8:37
Speaker 1: you're not. And you can be in your hot boy
• 8:40
Speaker 1: summer era, but at some point you got to sign
• 8:43
Speaker 1: on the dotted line. And I guess, you know, you
• 8:45
Speaker 1: don't hear her saying anything either, by the way, that
• 8:48
Speaker 1: she's desperate. So I'm going to say it all boils
• 8:51
Speaker 1: down to money and why, why, Push into it until
• 8:55
Speaker 1: somebody has a reason to want to get out.
• 8:57
Speaker 2: I think that you and I know people that have
• 9:01
Speaker 2: not filed for divorce because it just wasn't convenient or
• 9:05
Speaker 2: there was a money issue and they just didn't want
• 9:07
Speaker 2: to address it. And they didn't really need to do
• 9:11
Speaker 2: it until something major happened.
• 9:12
Speaker 1: In their life. Yeah, that's what I just said. So
• 9:14
Speaker 1: something major is going to happen. And, you know, unfortunately,
• 9:17
Speaker 1: it's all going to play out in the news. So
• 9:19
Speaker 1: we're going to keep tabs on it. And we'll see
• 9:21
Speaker 1: when they actually do file for divorce.
• 9:23
Speaker 2: When this happens. Yeah, maybe they're saving it to, like,
• 9:26
Speaker 2: maybe some good filming.
• 9:28
Speaker 1: Or maybe they're hiding money in the Bahamas. Who knows?
• 9:31
Speaker 2: Well, I think maybe they're saving it for TV. That's
• 9:33
Speaker 2: my new thought on this.
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: All right.
• 9:35
Speaker 2: That makes good TV. Okay, let's move on because this
• 9:47
Speaker 2: is a really sweet thing. And I really love reading this.
• 9:52
Speaker 2: Terry Irwin is paying tribute to her late husband, Steve Irwin,
• 9:55
Speaker 2: 35 years after they met. In an Instagram post on Tuesday,
• 10:00
Speaker 2: October 6th, Terry, 62, shared a throwback photo of the
• 10:04
Speaker 2: two looking at a snake. It was 35 years ago
• 10:07
Speaker 2: today that I met the most incredible man at a
• 10:09
Speaker 2: tiny roadside wildlife park in Queensland, Australia. She began in
• 10:14
Speaker 2: the caption, this chance meeting would change my life forever.
• 10:17
Speaker 2: I always felt that Steve and I were more than soulmates,
• 10:19
Speaker 2: she continued. Our life's purpose was even bigger. I am
• 10:23
Speaker 2: truly blessed to live a life so full of love, family,
• 10:27
Speaker 2: and adventure. Steve and Terry met when she visited the
• 10:30
Speaker 2: wildlife park his parents founded, then known as Queensland Reptile
• 10:35
Speaker 2: and Fauna Park, according to the Australia Zoo. Steve took
• 10:39
Speaker 2: over managing the park on October 4th, 1991, and he
• 10:42
Speaker 2: met Terry two days later on October 6th. Sounds like
• 10:45
Speaker 2: fate to me, right?
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 10:48
Speaker 2: He and Terry married in 1992 and welcomed daughter Bindi Irwin,
• 10:51
Speaker 2: who we all know from Dancing with the Stars and
• 10:53
Speaker 2: also on TV. in 1998 and son Robert Irwin in 2003.
• 10:58
Speaker 2: Steve died on September 4th, 2006. I think we all
• 11:02
Speaker 2: remember this day at the age of 44 when he
• 11:04
Speaker 2: was stung by a stingray in an unprovoked attack while
• 11:07
Speaker 2: filming a documentary off the coast of Australia. I have
• 11:10
Speaker 2: to ask you, Kathy, because I don't remember the day
• 11:14
Speaker 2: I met my late husband and I feel really bad
• 11:16
Speaker 2: about that. I've actually met him a couple times throughout
• 11:18
Speaker 2: our history of dating. Do you remember the.
• 11:20
Speaker 1: Day that you're- I remember- Exactly. It was the first
• 11:26
Speaker 1: week of September. I was a freshman in college. He
• 11:30
Speaker 1: was a senior. We were at a fraternity party, and
• 11:35
Speaker 1: he was the president of the fraternity, and I was
• 11:37
Speaker 1: just in awe of all these good-looking guys. I remember
• 11:42
Speaker 1: I was a freshman in college, and I looked at
• 11:44
Speaker 1: him across the room, and I said to my roommate
• 11:47
Speaker 1: who came to the party with me, I said, you
• 11:49
Speaker 1: see that guy over there? She said, yeah. I said,
• 11:50
Speaker 1: I'm going to marry him. And I did, 18 months later.
• 11:54
Speaker 2: That's crazy. I know that you guys got married really quickly.
• 11:56
Speaker 2: I remember you telling me that story. I love that,
• 11:58
Speaker 2: like the kind of the family. First of all, I
• 12:00
Speaker 2: do want to say I'm wondering why after 35 years,
• 12:05
Speaker 2: years they decided to do this. It seems like, did
• 12:08
Speaker 2: they do this throughout the history? Did she do it
• 12:11
Speaker 2: at 10 years? And did you do it at 20 years?
• 12:13
Speaker 1: I'll tell you, it's tough, Joan.
• 12:14
Speaker 2: At 35 years, it seems a little weird or a
• 12:16
  Speaker 2: little unusual. I don't know. I should never say it's
• 12:18
Speaker 2: weird because whatever hit her, hit her. Have you commemorated
• 12:23
Speaker 2: things like wedding anniversary or birthdays or passing days or
• 12:29
Speaker 2: Like of, you know, your late husband or have you
• 12:32
Speaker 2: like stuck to a schedule? I mean, or does it
• 12:35
Speaker 2: just hit you sometimes when you talk about it online?
• 12:38
Speaker 2: How have you handled this?
• 12:39
Speaker 1: Well, my kids are three grown children. They don't really like.
• 12:45
Speaker 1: celebrating the day he died, as you and everyone else
• 12:49
Speaker 1: at this point, my husband died by suicide. So no
• 12:51
Speaker 1: one wants to celebrate that day. We try to do
• 12:54
Speaker 1: something for his birthday. I'll be honest, though, it's his birthday.
• 12:59
Speaker 1: The kids don't even remember when our anniversary is. That's
• 13:01
Speaker 1: sort of my day to remember. Birthdays, Christmas, holidays, they're tough.
• 13:06
Speaker 1: We remember him. We talk about him. I try to
• 13:09
Speaker 1: do something special. even if it's just me doing something special,
• 13:13
Speaker 1: playing a song that we like. But I usually always,
• 13:17
Speaker 1: always send a text, not usually, I do, send a
• 13:20
Speaker 1: text to my kids on his birthday and say, it's
• 13:24
Speaker 1: been this many years that he's been gone. And I
• 13:28
Speaker 1: know you joined with me and wish he were back
• 13:30
Speaker 1: with us. So I think for some people, Joan, it's
• 13:32
Speaker 1: harder to face those holidays and Um, but I do honor,
• 13:38
Speaker 1: I do. Do you, do you honor? Yeah, I do.
• 13:42
Speaker 2: I do. Um, I always go and visit him at
• 13:44
Speaker 2: the cemetery on our anniversary. I still talk to him.
• 13:47
Speaker 2: I know it sounds weird, but I'll be at the cemetery.
• 13:49
Speaker 2: If no one's around, I'll have a little conversation with him.
• 13:51
Speaker 2: If there are other people around, I won't. Um, we, we,
• 13:54
Speaker 2: we go on his birthday, um, his birthday and Thanksgiving
• 13:58
Speaker 2: are all right, right around the same time. So, um,
• 14:00
Speaker 2: we'll go kind of visit him. We'll bring him flowers.
• 14:02
Speaker 2: We'll sing happy birthday. My kids and I will go.
• 14:05
Speaker 2: So we do honor things. I've done a couple. I mean,
• 14:08
Speaker 2: this was, you know, very public the way she's honoring him.
• 14:10
Speaker 2: She did it on Instagram. I have done that a
• 14:13
Speaker 2: little bit in the past. I struggle a little bit
• 14:16
Speaker 2: talking about John because I still feel very sad about it.
• 14:19
Speaker 2: And like you do. So I remember the one time
• 14:23
Speaker 2: I did something that made me really happy. And I said,
• 14:26
Speaker 2: you know, so many people share stories with me when
• 14:28
Speaker 2: I see them out about John. And I love hearing
• 14:32
Speaker 2: those stories because The thing that I don't want ever
• 14:35
Speaker 2: to happen is to people forget about him, like for
• 14:37
Speaker 2: him to just fade from this life. And so I
• 14:40
Speaker 2: love it when people tell me stories. And so I said, hey,
• 14:42
Speaker 2: if you have any stories, just share them here on Instagram.
• 14:44
Speaker 2: I got so many stories and it was a lot
• 14:47
Speaker 2: of my kids' friends who remember Mr. Vassos when he
• 14:51
Speaker 2: took us to the pool and, you know, such and
• 14:53
Speaker 2: such happened or when he drove us to school that
• 14:55
Speaker 2: day and he didn't have shoes on and you forgot,
• 14:57
Speaker 2: like someone forgot their lunchbox. They had to walk in
• 14:59
Speaker 2: the school without shoes on and like just funny stories
• 15:01
Speaker 2: about him that I loved. So I see why maybe
• 15:04
Speaker 2: she's doing this. And I think maybe this spurred on
• 15:06
Speaker 2: a little bit of And maybe that's what she wanted
• 15:09
Speaker 2: because Bindi then commemorated the anniversary by sharing a picture
• 15:14
Speaker 2: of her parents on her Instagram, writing, 35 years ago today,
• 15:17
Speaker 2: my parents met. They began the most beautiful love story together,
• 15:20
Speaker 2: which continues to transcend life and loss. Terry commented on
• 15:25
Speaker 2: the post, so blessed to have a chance meeting, begin
• 15:28
Speaker 2: a lifetime of love every day. I'm thankful for the
• 15:31
Speaker 2: family we grew together, you and Robert light up my world.
• 15:34
Speaker 2: And certainly we've seen them interact because both Bindi and
• 15:38
Speaker 2: Robert have been on Dancing with the Stars together and
• 15:40
Speaker 2: the mom always comes. And so you can see their
• 15:44
Speaker 2: strong bond. But I find this really interesting that in
• 15:47
Speaker 2: January 2018 interview with People, Terry shared that she hadn't
• 15:50
Speaker 2: been on a date since Steve's death and that was okay.
• 15:54
Speaker 2: I think it's wonderful when people who have lost someone
• 15:57
Speaker 2: find love again, but I'm not personally looking and I
• 16:00
Speaker 2: haven't been on a date in 27 years, she said then.
• 16:03
Speaker 2: In fact, it's been so long, I've had a couple
• 16:06
Speaker 2: of lovely women ask me out because they figured that's
• 16:09
Speaker 2: the case. Continue, Terry. But I'm content. I have two
• 16:12
Speaker 2: beautiful kids, a really full plate. I've already had my
• 16:16
Speaker 2: happily ever after. What do you think, Kathy, about her
• 16:19
  Speaker 2: never dating again?
• 16:20
Speaker 1: You know, I think... Everyone does what works for them.
• 16:26
Speaker 1: I often say, my husband's been gone seven years, and
• 16:30
Speaker 1: I do date, but I never will replace. Just as
• 16:34
Speaker 1: you said the same thing, Joan, we're never going to
• 16:36
Speaker 1: replace our husbands, and we're not trying to replace them.
• 16:40
Speaker 1: I would like to find companionship, but I think everyone
• 16:43
Speaker 1: does what works for them. I have three great kids.
• 16:46
Speaker 1: I have five grandchildren, so I'm extremely busy too. At
• 16:49
Speaker 1: the same time, I like the idea of having someone
• 16:52
Speaker 1: to go to dinner with, maybe travel with, have adult
• 16:55
Speaker 1: conversation with that's not my children. I just wanted to
• 16:59
Speaker 1: add one other thing. My kids, interestingly, always acknowledge their
• 17:06
Speaker 1: dad's birthday on Christmas. Instagram or Facebook. I never do.
• 17:11
Speaker 1: And that's so funny because I'm out in the public
• 17:14
Speaker 1: and I have a podcast and all that, but I
• 17:16
Speaker 1: don't know. I can't do that. Yet my kids always
• 17:19
Speaker 1: put a picture up of them with their dad. Isn't
• 17:22
Speaker 1: that interesting that they always acknowledge it, but I can't
• 17:25
  Speaker 1: do it.
• 17:26
Speaker 2: Yeah. I have a hard time doing it too. Like
• 17:28
Speaker 2: I told you, I did it that one time, but I,
• 17:30
Speaker 2: I've done it a few times, but not often, but
• 17:32
Speaker 2: that one did bring me a lot of joy. So
• 17:34
Speaker 2: I'm so happy I did that one.
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 17:36
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 17:37
Speaker 1: Okay, well, we're going to move along to Ben Affleck.
• 17:41
Speaker 1: And he says that Jennifer Garner was very wise to
• 17:46
Speaker 1: turn down playing his wife. in a new movie. Ben Affleck,
• 17:51
Speaker 1: he gets why his ex-wife Jennifer Garner wasn't keen on
• 17:54
Speaker 1: playing this role in his new thriller, Animals. During a
• 17:59
Speaker 1: recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 54-year-old actor and
• 18:03
Speaker 1: director explained that his longtime pal, Matt Damon, was originally
• 18:07
Speaker 1: supposed to play the lead role in the film and
• 18:10
Speaker 1: that Garner would play his wife, However, when Damon bowed
• 18:14
Speaker 1: out to star in The Odyssey, Affleck took over the role.
• 18:17
Speaker 1: And well, that's where Garner drew the line. She said
• 18:21
Speaker 1: at that point, obviously, Jen was like, yeah, great. But no,
• 18:24
Speaker 1: I'm not going to play your wife in a movie. No, thanks. Exactly.
• 18:28
Speaker 1: And of course, Jimmy Kimmel left. He said, probably the
• 18:30
Speaker 1: best that lesson's been learned. She's very wise in many ways.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: And I thought that was interesting because I don't know
• 18:36
Speaker 1: if you're aware of this, but Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck,
• 18:41
Speaker 1: who are also married, they did a movie together called
• 18:46
Speaker 1: Kiss of the Spider Woman. And Jennifer Lopez says she
• 18:51
Speaker 1: could barely manage to pull it off. And that it
• 18:54
Speaker 1: was his company. And so she was really trying to
• 18:57
Speaker 1: get through it. But so I think that's probably what
• 19:00
Speaker 1: what Jimmy Kimmel was alluding to. Like, yeah, not a
• 19:03
Speaker 1: good thing. So so so after that, you know, obviously
• 19:08
Speaker 1: I needed a new lead and Kerry Washington. took over
• 19:11
Speaker 1: the role in her stead, with Affleck describing the Scandal
• 19:15
Speaker 1: star as someone he's always wanted to work with. After
• 19:18
Speaker 1: taking over the role, Affleck explained that he spoke with
• 19:21
Speaker 1: Garner about the situation, and she was like, we don't
• 19:24
Speaker 1: want to do that. You just get baggage. That being said,
• 19:28
Speaker 1: the Oscar winner noted that he really would love to
• 19:30
Speaker 1: share the screen again with his ex one day. I
• 19:33
Speaker 1: don't know. I found that very strange.
• 19:35
Speaker 2: I think it's hilarious that he said, I get it
• 19:37
Speaker 2: why she didn't want to do it. He knows that
• 19:39
Speaker 2: he would have problems working with her and she knows
• 19:42
Speaker 2: that she would have problems working with him. It's really obvious.
• 19:44
Speaker 2: He acknowledged that she made the right decision. Like there
• 19:47
  Speaker 2: was no conversation.
• 19:48
Speaker 1: It sounds right so I and again like I said
• 19:50
Speaker 1: he did work with Jennifer Lopez and that didn't work
• 19:53
Speaker 1: so well either so I think that's just him trying
• 19:56
Speaker 1: to get out of it gracefully at least I hope
• 19:58
  Speaker 1: that's what it.
• 19:59
Speaker 2: Is yeah do they have kids together Yes.
• 20:01
Speaker 1: They do. I think they have two or three kids
• 20:03
Speaker 1: together and they're a little bit older now.
• 20:05
Speaker 2: So I think it's really smart, honestly, that if you
• 20:08
Speaker 2: think it's going to cause any turmoil that will then
• 20:10
Speaker 2: maybe eventually like affect the kids, you should just not
• 20:13
Speaker 2: do it. So they don't need the money. Neither one
• 20:16
Speaker 2: of them need the money. Neither one of them need
• 20:17
Speaker 2: to work with each other. They're not desperate. Right.
• 20:20
Speaker 1: I do like though how he ended it. He said,
• 20:23
Speaker 1: she's fabulous and we're really good friends and I'm profoundly
• 20:27
Speaker 1: grateful to her and we have a great thing. I
• 20:30
Speaker 1: still would want to work with them in the future,
• 20:32
Speaker 1: but what you don't want to do is take the
• 20:34
Speaker 1: audience's baggage and have it work against you, you know?
• 20:37
Speaker 1: I have no clue what that really means, the audience's baggage,
• 20:41
Speaker 1: unless it means... the audience reaction to working with the ex, commenting,
• 20:45
Speaker 1: and then again, that could reflect negatively on them and
• 20:50
Speaker 1: then maybe upset their kids. But I think Jennifer made
• 20:54
Speaker 1: the right decision, and I think that it all worked
• 20:57
Speaker 1: out at the best.
• 20:58
Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I think that, you know, everybody's so free
• 21:00
Speaker 2: now with being able to share their opinions about everything
• 21:03
Speaker 2: on so many different platforms that, you know... like thinking
• 21:07
Speaker 2: about what the audience might say about the two of
• 21:09
Speaker 2: them working together. If it goes poorly, they're going to say, oh,
• 21:12
Speaker 2: they had a bad relationship. They're divorced. Why were they
• 21:14
Speaker 2: working together? If it goes great, then the rumors may be, oh.
• 21:18
Speaker 1: Oh, they're getting back together. Oh, yeah, you can't win.
• 21:21
Speaker 2: They should not do it. And they didn't. And that
• 21:23
Speaker 2: was smart. I think it was a really good idea. Okay,
• 21:35
Speaker 2: I want to shift to something really interesting. Okay. I
• 21:38
Speaker 2: don't know. This is like probably us. I do part two,
• 21:42
Speaker 2: merging with true crime. And I'm really excited about this
• 21:45
Speaker 2: story because I remember watching it as it played out.
• 21:47
Speaker 2: So I'm going to go and give you kind of
• 21:49
Speaker 2: the headlines about it right now. So Gypsy Rose Blanchard,
• 21:52
Speaker 2: I hope you remember her, shares proof of bullying and harassment.
• 21:57
Speaker 2: Ken Urker... Okay, so Gypsy Rose Ransford is sharing examples
• 22:03
Speaker 2: of what she says isn't even a fraction of the
• 22:06
Speaker 2: online harassment her late husband, Ken Urker, endured prior to his,
• 22:11
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, not late husband, late partner, Ken Urker, endured
• 22:15
Speaker 2: prior to his death. Urquhart was found dead at his
• 22:17
Speaker 2: Louisiana home on his 31st birthday on October 1st. It's
• 22:22
Speaker 2: on his birthday. That's incredibly sad. The 35-year-old mother who
• 22:26
Speaker 2: shares daughter Aurora with Urquhart posted a list of alleged
• 22:29
Speaker 2: cases of bullying, the majority of which came from the
• 22:33
Speaker 2: same Reddit forum. The incidents Blanchard shared claimed that Reddit
• 22:37
Speaker 2: posts mocked Urquhart's appearance, sexuality, and questioned the status of
• 22:42
Speaker 2: his relationship with Blanchard numerous times. These screenshots show only
• 22:46
Speaker 2: a small portion of the evidence log documenting the cyberbullying, ridicule, allegations,
• 22:52
Speaker 2: and targeted harassment Ken faced across social media over the years.
• 22:57
Speaker 2: There is substantially more that has yet to be documented.
• 23:01
Speaker 2: Blanchard captioned the post, people need to understand that what
• 23:04
Speaker 2: sustained online harassment can look like when hundreds or thousands
• 23:09
Speaker 2: of individuals post comments, videos, and discussions accumulated against one
• 23:14
Speaker 2: human being. Blanchard urged the public to remember that on
• 23:17
Speaker 2: the other side of the screen was a real person,
• 23:20
Speaker 2: a father and a partner. She then shared an image
• 23:24
Speaker 2: of herself with Urker, writing, he was our world, before
• 23:27
Speaker 2: posting another image of their daughter and writing, she was his.
• 23:32
Speaker 2: Continuing her call for a new law in Urker's honor,
• 23:36
Speaker 2: Blanchard wrote, Kenan's law is about turning awareness into change.
• 23:41
Speaker 2: It is about recognizing the cumulative impact of cyberbullying and
• 23:45
Speaker 2: pushing for stronger protections and accountability online, and asked her
• 23:49
Speaker 2: followers to sign the petition for the proposed law. Blanchard
• 23:53
Speaker 2: told People, the reasoning behind her post is because there
• 23:56
Speaker 2: are people who participated in harassment who would rather sweep
• 23:59
Speaker 2: what happened online under the rug than acknowledge the real
• 24:02
Speaker 2: harm their words caused. an action can cause. I'm not
• 24:05
Speaker 2: going to let that happen. So I love this, that
• 24:08
Speaker 2: she is turning this horrible tragedy into potentially something good.
• 24:12
Speaker 2: I do wonder how successful this could be, because I
• 24:16
Speaker 2: do feel like we have laws and it's part of
• 24:19
Speaker 2: our constitution that we are allowed to talk. You know,
• 24:22
Speaker 2: we have freedom of speech.
• 24:24
Speaker 1: I wonder if Oh, but cyberbullying, Joan, has become a
• 24:28
Speaker 1: huge thing. And you can prosecute for that. So I
• 24:31
Speaker 1: give her great credit for, you know, she can't change.
• 24:35
Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to him. Is it a
• 24:38
Speaker 1: little odd that he died so young on his birthday
• 24:41
  Speaker 1: at home?
• 24:42
Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you. Of course, there was a
• 24:45
Speaker 2: police investigation. And it says in a statement to people,
• 24:48
Speaker 2: Blanchard claimed that Urker wasn't in a good state of
• 24:51
Speaker 2: mind lately. He had been drinking a lot to cope.
• 24:54
Speaker 2: A spokesperson for the La Feroce, Paris Sheriff's Office told
• 24:58
Speaker 2: people that they had found no evidence of foul play
• 25:02
Speaker 2: so far in their investigation. As long as the investigation
• 25:05
Speaker 2: is ongoing, of course, we cannot rule it out. So obviously,
• 25:08
Speaker 2: you know, it's still an investigation, but they did find paraphernalia,
• 25:12
Speaker 2: specifically syringes and a spoon in the bathroom next to
• 25:16
Speaker 2: a brown powdery substance, according to the sheriff's report. So
• 25:19
Speaker 2: They did find some things. And he even had a
• 25:21
Speaker 2: handgun in his bed, his nightstand next to the bed.
• 25:26
Speaker 2: Sounds like maybe, I don't know, maybe he had that
• 25:28
Speaker 2: for safety or maybe he had that because he was
• 25:30
Speaker 2: contemplating something. So it's scary. And I know that hits
• 25:32
Speaker 2: home for you, Kathy. I'm sorry.
• 25:33
Speaker 1: That's okay. No, no, that's okay. I guess my question
• 25:37
Speaker 1: though is, and it's only conjecture, right? Is what was
• 25:42
Speaker 1: going on? Did he have a drug issue? Did he
• 25:45
Speaker 1: have marital issues? was cyberbullying getting to him. It seems
• 25:50
Speaker 1: like Gypsy Rose Blanchard is trying to draw a very
• 25:55
Speaker 1: strong connection between cyberbullying and his death. And I'm not
• 26:02
Speaker 1: a police officer and I'm not an investigator, but I
• 26:05
Speaker 1: do think there might be more in this story than
• 26:10
  Speaker 1: just cyberbullying.
• 26:12
Speaker 2: I agree with you.
• 26:13
Speaker 1: As a cause of death.
• 26:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you. I'm also trying to figure
• 26:17
Speaker 2: out what the bullying was based on. So obviously he's
• 26:19
Speaker 2: kind of a public figure just because he married her
• 26:22
Speaker 2: and they have a child together.
• 26:23
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 26:24
Speaker 2: Were people criticizing him? for being with her. You know,
• 26:28
Speaker 2: she's had such a crazy past and, you know, she,
• 26:32
Speaker 2: you know, went to jail.
• 26:33
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 26:34
Speaker 2: So she, I don't know if you remember the story.
• 26:36
Speaker 2: I remember following it really closely that she was born
• 26:39
Speaker 2: and her to this woman named Dee Dee Blanchard.
• 26:42
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 26:42
Speaker 2: And Gypsy Rose from a very young age had been
• 26:46
Speaker 2: suffering abuse from her mother at, by, and the abuse
• 26:50
Speaker 2: was called Munchausen's by proxy. So if you know what
• 26:53
Speaker 2: Munchausen's is, it's about So it's about people thinking or
• 26:56
Speaker 2: pretending that they have an illness. Well, D.G. Blanchard forced
• 26:59
Speaker 2: her daughter to pretend that she had leukemia, muscular dystrophy,
• 27:04
Speaker 2: and severe asthma. Gypsy was subjected to unneeded surgeries, feeding tubes,
• 27:11
Speaker 2: and wheelchair confinement. DG lied about Gypsy's age and made
• 27:16
Speaker 2: her appear sick to get charity, free chips, and public sympathy.
• 27:20
Speaker 2: So later on when Gypsy figured out that all these things,
• 27:25
Speaker 2: that she was not that sick, I mean, she even
• 27:27
Speaker 2: shaved her head to pretend that she had cancer so
• 27:29
Speaker 2: she'd get sympathy. They lost her house after a hurricane
• 27:33
Speaker 2: and people paid for her to have a new house
• 27:37
Speaker 2: built with a ramp. I mean, they really got a lot.
• 27:40
Speaker 2: Her mother was really very devious and used her child
• 27:44
Speaker 2: But later in life, as Gypsy got a little older,
• 27:47
Speaker 2: she met an online boyfriend named Nicholas Gojon and convinced
• 27:51
Speaker 2: him to travel to her home in Springfield, Missouri, which
• 27:54
Speaker 2: they planned a scheme to kill Dee Dee, the mother,
• 28:01
Speaker 2: which they did. And they planned it together, but he
• 28:05
Speaker 2: was the one that actually murdered the mother. I think
• 28:07
Speaker 2: he stabbed her like 17 times. It was pretty brutal
• 28:10
  Speaker 2: and awful.
• 28:11
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 28:12
Speaker 2: And she pled guilty to second-degree murder and went to
• 28:15
Speaker 2: jail and spent time in jail. He is in jail
• 28:18
Speaker 2: currently for that murder. So, you know, she's been— I' m not
• 28:21
Speaker 2: sure if you call her a villain. I mean, she
• 28:24
Speaker 2: hired or she asked somebody, she convinced somebody to kill
• 28:27
Speaker 2: her mother. But, boy, she had been through an awful lot.
• 28:30
Speaker 2: It reminds me a little bit of the Menendez brothers
• 28:32
Speaker 2: who had, like, enjoyed it for many, many years. What
• 28:35
Speaker 2: do you think about that?
• 28:37
Speaker 1: Well, I think that, again, I think there's more to
• 28:40
Speaker 1: the story because— Blanchard and Urker were originally engaged, I
• 28:44
Speaker 1: don't know if you know this, in 2018 while she
• 28:47
Speaker 1: was in prison for the murder of her mother, as
• 28:49
Speaker 1: you said, Dee Dee Blanchard. But then she called things
• 28:52
Speaker 1: off with Urker and then they reconciled. She called things
• 28:56
Speaker 1: off before they reconciled again in 2019. They split again.
• 29:00
Speaker 1: They reconciled again after her divorce from Ryan Anderson. So
• 29:05
Speaker 1: I just think there is more than cyberbullying. Yes, Jip
• 29:11
Speaker 1: Thoreau's Blanchard story, I remember it well. They had a
• 29:14
Speaker 1: child together. But I think the investigation is going to
• 29:17
Speaker 1: show that There's more going on here than cyberbullying or
• 29:22
Speaker 1: more was going on. And I think it's very sad.
• 29:25
Speaker 1: And I do think it's very curious that he died
• 29:28
  Speaker 1: on his birthday.
• 29:28
Speaker 2: But even, yeah, it sounds like, you know, birthdays are
• 29:31
Speaker 2: milestones for people. 34, I'm not sure if that would
• 29:33
Speaker 2: have been a huge milestone for me, but 35 maybe. But,
• 29:36
Speaker 2: you know, they are milestones and it makes you maybe
• 29:38
Speaker 2: think about your life a little bit. And if you,
• 29:40
Speaker 2: I mean, she said it wasn't just hundreds, it was
• 29:42
Speaker 2: thousands of messages from people. And I know you and I, we,
• 29:45
Speaker 2: you know, we're kind of out in the public a
• 29:47
Speaker 2: little bit and, you know, we recognize that you open
• 29:49
Speaker 2: yourself up to that by living a public life. I'm
• 29:52
Speaker 2: not sure, like he... sought out a woman who was
• 29:57
Speaker 2: living a public life. And I don't think you ever
• 30:00
Speaker 2: plan on people hating you or, you know, the vitriol
• 30:05
Speaker 2: you get from, you know, from anything you do, even
• 30:09
Speaker 2: the way you look. It talked about the way you
• 30:10
Speaker 2: looked and like they, you know, like talked about his sexuality.
• 30:14
Speaker 2: I mean, like people can attack you for anything. So
• 30:16
Speaker 2: it's really brutal out there.
• 30:18
Speaker 1: I mean, both you and I, Joan, have experienced cyberbullying.
• 30:20
  Speaker 2: Absolutely.
• 30:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, all the time. And we're not looking to end
• 30:24
Speaker 1: our lives. So I think some, I know it has happened.
• 30:27
Speaker 1: I'll be interested to see where it all turns out.
• 30:32
Speaker 1: The only other thing I want to say about this story,
• 30:34
Speaker 1: do you realize how much has changed? God only knows
• 30:37
Speaker 1: what medications and stuff that mother was giving her daughter. Now,
• 30:41
Speaker 1: like I remember back in the day, if you had
• 30:45
Speaker 1: a drug addiction, you could get drugs. You just go
• 30:48
Speaker 1: to a different doctor, right? He'd write a script. And
• 30:50
Speaker 1: that's how people got so addicted. Now they have these
• 30:52
Speaker 1: national forums where you're signed. They can look and see
• 30:56
Speaker 1: where you've been. So, you know, probably this wouldn't have
• 31:00
  Speaker 1: happened now. Yeah.
• 31:01
Speaker 2: I remember being so shocked how the system failed her
• 31:04
Speaker 2: so drastically that there were so many places that she went.
• 31:07
Speaker 2: They moved and like they just went from hospital to
• 31:10
Speaker 2: hospital and to doctor to doctor. Like how in the
• 31:12
Speaker 2: world do you convince a doctor that your daughter has leukemia?
• 31:15
  Speaker 2: I don't know. And or whatever. But I don't think
• 31:18
Speaker 2: she convinced a doctor, but she shaved her head. She
• 31:20
Speaker 2: pretended to take her to the hospital. She stuck her
• 31:22
Speaker 2: in wheelchairs. It just was. It is.
• 31:25
Speaker 1: It's truly a Ripley's, believe it or not. But this
• 31:28
Speaker 1: is a, you know, a story that's ongoing, and we
• 31:31
Speaker 1: are going to have to keep following it to see
• 31:33
Speaker 1: where it all ends up. Yeah.
• 31:35
Speaker 2: I feel like Gypsy Rose, even though she's had a very, like,
• 31:37
  Speaker 2: odd life, she's endured a lot. I mean, you've got
• 31:41
Speaker 2: to imagine. I mean, she's had, like, a bunch of
• 31:43
Speaker 2: shows they did, like, Life After Lockup for her and
• 31:46
Speaker 2: a couple other, like, reality shows, like, documenting her life.
• 31:50
  Speaker 2: But she's, boy.
• 31:51
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 31:51
  Speaker 2: She's been through a lot.
• 31:52
Speaker 1: All right. Well, we're going to keep on top of it.
• 31:54
Speaker 1: And now a little bit happier story. We're going to
• 31:58
Speaker 1: move on. Jessica Simpson was spotted in New Mexico with
• 32:01
Speaker 1: boyfriend Thomas Eisenhood following her split with Eric Johnson. They
• 32:07
Speaker 1: were having some quality time together. The musician couple was
• 32:11
Speaker 1: seen spending time at Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta Park on Sunday,
• 32:15
Speaker 1: October 4th. The photos were provided by TMZ. In the images, Simpson, 46,
• 32:21
Speaker 1: could be seen sporting a suede fringe jacket, which she
• 32:25
Speaker 1: accessorized with a pair of oval sunnies and several oversized rings. Eisenhut,
• 32:32
Speaker 1: who's 33, appeared in a red hoodie. According to the outlet,
• 32:35
Speaker 1: the pair were seen walking through the park and taking
• 32:38
Speaker 1: selfies with the hot air balloons in the background. Okay,
• 32:42
Speaker 1: before we move on to anything else, she's 46, he's 33.
• 32:46
Speaker 1: I just want to point that out.
• 32:48
  Speaker 2: I don't think she's having a hard time finding a
• 32:49
Speaker 2: boyfriend or a date, right?
• 32:51
Speaker 1: I mean, listen, if you can get a guy 13
• 32:53
Speaker 1: years younger and walk around in your suede fringe jacket,
• 32:57
Speaker 1: I'm all with you.
• 32:58
Speaker 2: Kind of a sexy musician, too.
• 32:59
  Speaker 1: That's right.
• 33:01
Speaker 2: What I got to say, the other thing I want
• 33:02
Speaker 2: to say about that paragraph is I really need a
• 33:05
Speaker 2: suede fringe jacket now. I have this urge to go
• 33:07
Speaker 2: buy because I mean, like.
• 33:09
Speaker 1: That's what I just said. If you can get a
• 33:11
Speaker 1: red fringe suede jacket and find a guy that's 13
• 33:15
Speaker 1: years younger, I'm off to Macy's myself.
• 33:17
Speaker 2: Maybe you and I need to go get suede fringe jackets.
• 33:20
Speaker 1: Let's do it, Joan. Okay, so bystanders told TMZ that
• 33:23
Speaker 1: another couple ended up taking photos of Simpson and Eisenhood,
• 33:27
Speaker 1: where the latter wrapped his arm around her and the
• 33:30
Speaker 1: former rested her head on his shoulder. According to the outlet,
• 33:36
Speaker 1: Simpson and the Nashville-based artist were seen laughing throughout the
• 33:39
Speaker 1: park and tried to avoid attention. In April, an exclusive
• 33:43
Speaker 1: source told people that Simpson was dating Eisenhood, a member
• 33:47
Speaker 1: of the Stoop Kids band, which broke up in 2023
• 33:50
Speaker 1: per its Instagram bio. The source exclusively told people that
• 33:55
Speaker 1: the fashion mogul was happy. She's in a great place
• 33:59
Speaker 1: and excited for her future, the source added. The relationship
• 34:02
Speaker 1: began more than a year after Simpson and Eric Johnson,
• 34:05
Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember him, but he was
• 34:07
Speaker 1: an NFL player, and he's 47, announced their separation in
• 34:12
Speaker 1: January of 2025. The former couple were married for 10 years,
• 34:17
Speaker 1: and they shared three children, daughters Maxwell Drew, who's 14,
• 34:21
  Speaker 1: Birdie Mae, who's 7, and son Ace Newt, who's 13.
• 34:25
Speaker 2: I wonder, you know, she has a documentary coming out
• 34:28
Speaker 2: about her next year. And I wonder if he's going
• 34:32
Speaker 2: to be a big part of that. Sounds like they're
• 34:35
Speaker 2: kind of ingrained. They're kind of exclusive.
• 34:38
Speaker 1: I mean, if it hasn't been filmed yet, I'm going
• 34:40
Speaker 1: to go with yes. Because who wouldn't want to be
• 34:44
Speaker 1: waltzing around with her 33-year-old boyfriend? I mean, she sounds happy.
• 34:48
Speaker 1: I say, go girl.
• 34:51
Speaker 2: I look at the ages of our kids, and I
• 34:55
  Speaker 2: got to imagine that a 33-year-old, I mean, I know
• 34:57
Speaker 2: that they have a father, so he's not going to
• 34:59
Speaker 2: be a father figure to them. But I got to
• 35:01
Speaker 2: imagine him coming into a relationship with somebody who has
• 35:05
  Speaker 2: two teenagers, a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old and a 7-year-old.
• 35:08
Speaker 2: That's got to be hard.
• 35:10
Speaker 1: Wait a minute, Joan. He could, I mean, physically, he
• 35:13
Speaker 1: could be the dad. He could be. He could be.
• 35:16
Speaker 2: But I think coming in, I mean, this sounds like
• 35:18
Speaker 2: this has been going on for about a year, coming
• 35:20
Speaker 2: into a relationship where the kids are already teenagers sounds hard.
• 35:25
  Speaker 2: And he doesn't sound like he's, he's 33. He hasn't
• 35:27
Speaker 2: had a lot of life experiences, doesn't have his own kids. He, like,
• 35:31
Speaker 2: he's dealing with teenagers. Like, I can see that being
• 35:33
Speaker 2: a really trying thing and maybe something really interesting to
• 35:36
Speaker 2: watch in a documentary.
• 35:38
Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, the documentary, I hope, includes how you
• 35:42
Speaker 1: manage this public life with, you know, your good looking
• 35:46
Speaker 1: sweetheart and how you manage a new relationship with teenage kids.
• 35:50
  Speaker 2: Hot ex-husband.
• 35:52
Speaker 1: And yeah. Hey, listen, maybe we should go after the
• 35:55
Speaker 1: 46 year old. He's probably already in another relationship too.
• 35:58
Speaker 1: They always are. Oh, Joan, this has been so much fun.
