Latest / Connor with Honor: AI, Real Estate and Real Life / Employers jumping the gun when it comes to AI implementation, Humans are not ready?
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Yesterday on my AI with Honor channel on YouTube, I actually had a programmer start to engage with me regarding our artificial intelligence and what he believes to be what's going to happen.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: And I think it's going to happen rather quickly.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: He believes not so fast.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: As a programmer, he sees these systems as they're still generating information that's not accurate.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: So all of these businesses that are now early adopters and going out there and talking to all these experts that are telling them all about artificial intelligence and how they'll be able to use it to move their business to the next level, they're all going to be in for a shock after they laid off and fired a whole bunch of employees in order to let AI take over because AI won't be as accurate as the employees would have.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: AI doesn't have that outside the box thinking as a human being would when they react.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Do I agree with him?
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: I think it's interesting, and I think it's interesting because he's a programmer and he knows that part of the business, which I do not.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: The most I know about programming is maybe a little bit of basic code, basic programming that I was banging away on a little Sinclair TI-99 back in the late 70s.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: That's about all I know about it.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: However, I am watching as the world is embracing this, and I think there should be some cautionary rules put into place with regard to how these models are trained.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: What data do they have access to?
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Because you can train the thing on all bad stuff and then have it refine itself, run scenarios, and more than likely the synthetic data it's going to generate is going to be bad stuff.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: So we have to watch out for that.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: And the people that are developing these technologies do as well.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: This is for the businesses out there that are going to be these early adopters of the AI chatbots and these sorts of things, trying to get rid of their customer relations.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: And I've already run into this in my life.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's going to be as effective over time.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: I do know that when I'm watching a video like this and I figure out that it's artificial intelligence made, and I stumble all the time, screw things up.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: I usually don't take more than one video.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I usually don't stop it.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: If you see jerking movements like this, that's because I'm cutting out any pauses add um, you know, these sorts of things, which I usually don't have.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: In fact, you know what this video, I'm not going to cut out any of those.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: We'll just put captions on it so you'll see me turning it on and turning it off, and you'll see me jumbling all the way through.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: But when you're watching other videos like this, it's I don't have hair, but if I had long hair, it it still can't, it still glitches with the hair.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: It just can't get it right.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: And I know that irritates me.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: And I think when people call a business and they're dealing with something that's not human, I think I think that irritates them as well.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: I hope this video helps.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: I will see you in the next one.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: And let me know your comments.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: What do you think the actual timeline is for AI to start really massive displacement?
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: And is it going to take that AI having access more to the physical world in the way of a robot so it can record that information as well to make it more conscious or maybe even more human-like?
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: I'd love to hear what you think on that.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: And thank you for the programmer for reaching out.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: A lot of great information.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: It's really nice talking to somebody that knows that end of the craft, not just people like me that are screaming in the middle of the street, oh my God, we're about to end our own lives by creating something more powerful.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Be well, watch out for yourselves, and let me know what you think.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Take care.
