75-Year-Old Accused in Philly Shooting | Philadelphia News
A shocking murder unfolded in Philly’s Roxborough neighborhood when a 75-year-old homeowner, George Barr, allegedly shot and killed a 20-year-old contractor, Salis Hanrahan, during a home renovation. The fatal shot rang out around 2:15 PM on Ripka Street as workers were installing siding — Hanrahan collapsed on the sidewalk, dead from a chest wound. Barr was arrested on the scene, a firearm recovered, and denied bail after arraignment.
