• 2:17
Speaker 4: Republican from the fifty to fifty third District, justin Leven,
• 2:21
Speaker 4: Good morning, Welcome to the show.
• 2:23
Speaker 6: Good morning, Thanks so much for having me.
• 2:25
Speaker 4: Dave, thank you for being here. I know you just
• 2:27
Speaker 4: had a little getaway with the family prior to school starting,
• 2:30
Speaker 4: not trying to get all up in your personal business.
• 2:32
Speaker 4: But how did that go? Hope, everything went well.
• 2:36
  Speaker 6: It was good.
• 2:37
Speaker 7: We were able to go over. We went to say
• 2:40
Speaker 7: it Ville and had a good time with extended family.
• 2:42
Speaker 7: I had tod It slightly short to go for my work.
• 2:46
Speaker 7: Yesterday was National Whistleblower Day, so I had to I
• 2:49
Speaker 7: had to leave my family go to DC and head back.
• 2:51
Speaker 7: That the vacation before that was great.
• 2:53
Speaker 4: All right, and explain exactly, and we're going to talk
• 2:56
Speaker 4: about House to Delegate stuff, but explain what National Whistleblower
• 2:59
  Speaker 4: Day is.
• 3:00
Speaker 7: So National Whistleblower Day is a commemoration that about fifteen
• 3:05
Speaker 7: years ago Congress started doing. Actually when I worked for
• 3:08
Speaker 7: Senator Grassley helpedim introduced the first resolution recognizing that day.
• 3:13
  Speaker 6: But it's a commemoration.
• 3:15
Speaker 7: It's based on a date from seventeen seventy eight when
• 3:18
Speaker 7: whistleblowers during the Revolutionary War first came to Congress about
• 3:23
Speaker 7: an issue within government and they were recognized and commended
• 3:26
Speaker 7: by the psych Continental Congress. And so now we use
• 3:29
Speaker 7: that as a day to just honor the accomplishments of
• 3:31
Speaker 7: whistleblowers coming forward and to promote their protection.
• 3:37
Speaker 4: Yesterday Governor Morrissey announced that August Friday, August first, Monday
• 3:43
Speaker 4: August fourth, families can take advantage of savings to come
• 3:47
Speaker 4: from this tax, the back to School Sales tax holiday,
• 3:51
Speaker 4: a couple of days. Whatever your thoughts on that.
• 3:54
Speaker 6: I think it's great. This is a wonderful opportunity, like
• 3:57
  Speaker 6: you say, starting.
• 3:57
Speaker 7: Tomorrow goos all the way through Monday, opportunity for families
• 4:01
Speaker 7: to get stuff that they might be purchasing anyway as
• 4:03
Speaker 7: kids are going back to school.
• 4:05
Speaker 6: We have five kids, and.
• 4:06
Speaker 7: So you know, just the things on the list, clothes
• 4:10
Speaker 7: that are under one hundred and twenty five dollars, or
• 4:12
Speaker 7: computer school instruction materials, school supplies again, all the sorts
• 4:16
Speaker 7: of things we would be buying anyway, So this weekend's
• 4:18
Speaker 7: the time to do it if you want to save
• 4:20
  Speaker 7: some additional money.
• 4:22
Speaker 4: I thought it was interesting. Of course, you know you've
• 4:23
Speaker 4: been on the show several times. You do have five kids.
• 4:25
Speaker 4: That would you start when you refer to your extended family?
• 4:28
Speaker 4: I would say, well, isn't that's your everyday family? Five kids.
• 4:31
Speaker 4: I mean, that's pretty much an extended family in its
• 4:32
  Speaker 4: own right.
• 4:33
Speaker 6: Right, Well, you're not wrong.
• 4:35
Speaker 7: But since my wife is one of five kids and
• 4:36
Speaker 7: I'm one of seven kids, Okay, when he gets together,
• 4:39
Speaker 7: then the Lord crew, that's for sure.
• 4:41
Speaker 4: Lord, I can imagine what that Thanksgiving looks like or
• 4:44
Speaker 4: Christmas morning or whatever.
• 4:45
Speaker 6: Well, that's what we all.
• 4:47
Speaker 7: We all went into Eighth Adventures the other day with
• 4:48
Speaker 7: the whole entire five family group altogether, the whole, whole,
• 4:53
  Speaker 7: entire extent.
• 4:54
Speaker 4: Would you do just rent the whole park? Is that
• 4:55
  Speaker 4: what you did?
• 4:58
Speaker 6: You just play so much water you couldn't the zipline anymore.
• 5:00
Speaker 4: I was gonna say, well, if you if you all
• 5:02
Speaker 4: jumped in the water at the same time, it's just
• 5:03
Speaker 4: all gonna, you know, go out the other side. We're
• 5:05
Speaker 4: talking to Tristan lev a delicate Republican delegate from fifty
• 5:09
Speaker 4: third And on a serious note here, I did want
• 5:11
Speaker 4: to you want to talk a little bit about school
• 5:12
Speaker 4: safety as we get ready to head back to school.
• 5:15
Speaker 6: Yeah, it's just an important time.
• 5:17
Speaker 7: You know, we have a lot of conversations in our
• 5:19
Speaker 7: house and as people are thinking as going back to school.
• 5:22
Speaker 7: Some some people already have school safety on their minds,
• 5:25
Speaker 7: some don't, some don't really give it a thought. But
• 5:28
Speaker 7: you know, God forbid anything ever happened in West Virginia
• 5:30
Speaker 7: at one of our schools, any sort of you know,
• 5:32
Speaker 7: violent incident or crisis like that. But I just think
• 5:35
  Speaker 7: it's an important it's a it's a helpful time to
• 5:37
Speaker 7: be able to talk about these important issues. And so
• 5:40
Speaker 7: the state Department of Education has a page that's on
• 5:43
Speaker 7: the school safety policy and laws, a lot of different
• 5:46
Speaker 7: information in there. There are a number of nonprofits like
• 5:50
Speaker 7: Safe and Sounds Schools dot org that provide resources for parents,
• 5:55
Speaker 7: again just to be able to talk to their kids
• 5:57
Speaker 7: as they go back and help help identify safe pract
• 6:00
Speaker 7: This is that can range from just you know, as
• 6:02
Speaker 7: kids are walking to school, safe conduct on the street
• 6:06
Speaker 7: on the roads, of course, their behavior with other students
• 6:09
Speaker 7: and that ties in with the bill that got passed
• 6:12
Speaker 7: during this last legislative session set up TILL one ninety
• 6:16
Speaker 7: nine to try and address behavioral issues so that if
• 6:21
Speaker 7: there are kids that are being dangerous or violent or
• 6:25
Speaker 7: threatening around other kids, the teachers can remove them from
• 6:28
Speaker 7: the classroom. And so I think that's helpful for parents
• 6:32
Speaker 7: to be aware of what's in there. But again, it's
• 6:35
Speaker 7: something you don't ever want to think about for some
• 6:38
Speaker 7: and again for others, I know it's sometime they just
• 6:39
Speaker 7: think about all the time, and so kind of finding
• 6:41
Speaker 7: that balance of you know, getting reading the resources and
• 6:46
Speaker 7: being prepared is helpful. This last about two weeks ago,
• 6:49
Speaker 7: I went to the American Legislative Exchange Council. They're a
• 6:53
Speaker 7: group that provides support to state legislators around the country,
• 6:56
Speaker 7: and they had a conference in Indianapolis, and while I
• 6:59
Speaker 7: was there, I met Laurie Alhadaf and she is the
• 7:04
Speaker 7: mother of one of the victims from the Parkland shooting.
• 7:08
Speaker 7: And so Alyssa's Law is one of the things that
• 7:12
Speaker 7: after that, a number of states have passed to try
• 7:15
Speaker 7: and sure the teachers have silent panic arms. Again, God forbid,
• 7:21
Speaker 7: in an emergency situation, they can be able to you know,
• 7:26
Speaker 7: notify law enforcement immediately, and that was something we tried to.
• 7:29
Speaker 6: Get through in this last legislature.
• 7:30
Speaker 7: It was originally sponsored by Delegate Jonathan Pinson, and it
• 7:34
Speaker 7: didn't make it all the way. We did get a
• 7:36
Speaker 7: great school mapping bill passed, and so a year from now,
• 7:40
Speaker 7: the requirements of that going to effect, you know, requiring
• 7:43
Speaker 7: that each county school district have the you know, the
• 7:47
Speaker 7: school totally mapped out the way they need for safety
• 7:49
Speaker 7: and law enforcement in case there is a crisis. But
• 7:52
Speaker 7: I think Alyssa's law could be at a great additional resource.
• 7:55
Speaker 7: So that's something I'm going to be focusing on in
• 7:57
Speaker 7: the next legislative session. But you know, again, you know,
• 8:00
Speaker 7: these things never happen, but it's really important to talk
• 8:02
Speaker 7: to your kids about just being safe in general and
• 8:04
Speaker 7: helping make sure they're aware.
• 8:05
Speaker 4: Yeah, you're exactly right. We're talking to Delegate to Tristan
• 8:08
Speaker 4: Levitt The Dave Allen Show and five eighty Line, broad
• 8:10

• 8:21
Speaker 4: lab analysis and assessment report. Check out Pinnacle Corp dot net.
• 8:24
Speaker 4: Because what you don't know can hurt you. Delegate, we
• 8:27
Speaker 4: all saw the horrific story on the news earlier this
• 8:31
Speaker 4: week about the shooting in New York, the guy who
• 8:34
Speaker 4: apparently had some issues with CTE and had an issue
• 8:37
Speaker 4: with the NFL and he went in there. One of
• 8:39
Speaker 4: the things I took away from that tragic situation, though,
• 8:42
  Speaker 4: and it's it's on one hand, it's a good thing,
• 8:45
Speaker 4: but on the other hand, it's a kind of a
• 8:47
Speaker 4: sad commentary, is that many of the people that were
• 8:51
Speaker 4: affected by this shooting, the ones that were able to
• 8:53
Speaker 4: get out safely, were younger people. My younger, I mean
• 8:57
Speaker 4: maybe like you know, let's say thirty and thirty and younger.
• 9:01
Speaker 4: And several of them commented, they said, no, it was
• 9:04
Speaker 4: a tragic situation. We didn't panic because we were trained
• 9:07
Speaker 4: for this in public school. And I heard that on
• 9:10
Speaker 4: the radio drive it into work on ABC News on
• 9:12
Speaker 4: our morning news, and I thought, that's that's a good thing.
• 9:16
Speaker 4: But it's also a sad commentary as well. Would you
• 9:19
Speaker 4: not agree it is.
• 9:21
Speaker 6: A sad commentary. And you know that's just a reality
• 9:24
Speaker 6: though of the world we live in today. And you know,
• 9:27
Speaker 6: I remember Columbine when.
• 9:28
Speaker 7: I was I think I was in high school is
• 9:31
Speaker 7: when it happened. And you know, are just our society
• 9:35
Speaker 7: has changed a lot since then, and so many many
• 9:38
Speaker 7: things are outside of our control. But you know what
• 9:41
Speaker 7: is it in our control is to try and prepare
• 9:42
Speaker 7: and teach our children, do them as much as we can.
• 9:45
Speaker 7: But I agree, it's a horrible situation that, you know,
• 9:50
Speaker 7: people know that could happen at a time and you
• 9:53
Speaker 7: just pray to God that.
• 9:54
  Speaker 6: It does not.
• 9:55
Speaker 4: I want to ask you a quick question before we
• 9:57
Speaker 4: let you go, and I appreciate you taking time out
• 9:58
Speaker 4: of your schedule to be here. I know you've been
• 9:59
Speaker 4: really busy with the family and doing some other things
• 10:01
Speaker 4: the last couple of days as we get ready to
• 10:04
Speaker 4: begin to school year. But this was totally unrelated to school.
• 10:06
Speaker 4: I want to ask you, I'll good put you on
• 10:07
Speaker 4: the spot here. You ready, sure I knew you would be.
• 10:12
Speaker 4: You're running for reelection.
• 10:14
Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely, I'm excited about this next session. There's a
• 10:19
Speaker 7: lot of good to do, and you know, I definitely
• 10:21
Speaker 7: I had a great experience during this first session, and
• 10:24
Speaker 7: there's just there are a lot of good things happening
• 10:26
Speaker 7: in West Virginia. There are a lot of things that
• 10:27
Speaker 7: we need to focus on, and our educational achievement is
• 10:32
Speaker 7: one of those. As you're you know, honestly just bringing
• 10:36
Speaker 7: economic development and investment and other things. But you know,
• 10:40
Speaker 7: I'm wanting to continue to keep my sleeves rolled up
• 10:44
Speaker 7: and do whatever I can, So I definitely running for reelection.
• 10:46
Speaker 4: Well, the reason I have to ask is because it's
• 10:48
Speaker 4: that time, you know, when you when you know next year,
• 10:50
Speaker 4: people are starting to look ahead, and I just wanted
• 10:52
  Speaker 4: to I've asked all I've had. I think you're the
• 10:54
Speaker 4: third delegate I've had on this week, and I have
• 10:56
Speaker 4: another one coming up tomorrow, and I'm asking all of them.
• 10:58
Speaker 4: Are you running for re election? So far in three
• 11:00
Speaker 4: for three, everybody's running for re election, So there's that,
• 11:02
Speaker 4: so we wish you the best.
• 11:03
Speaker 6: You must have a positive effect on them, then.
• 11:05
Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, exactly, that's what it is. You want to
• 11:08
Speaker 4: believe it at all? Right, DELI get to Tristan Levitt,
• 11:11
Speaker 4: Republican from the fifty third. I do appreciate you taking
• 11:14
Speaker 4: time at your schedule. Thanks a lot man, We'll talk soon.
• 11:17
Speaker 4: Good Thank you, all right, Tristan Lovitt Again, I gotta
• 11:20
Speaker 4: ask them, you know, because sometimes it doesn't happen very
• 11:23
Speaker 4: often that somebody runs for the legislature and wins and
• 11:26
Speaker 4: is a one and done. Sometimes it does. But but
• 11:29
Speaker 4: I mean by their own accord, I mean, and yeah,
• 11:31
Speaker 4: I just got to ask. But Ave Villan showing five

• 12:16
Speaker 4: to get him on the show this morning, reached out
• 12:18
Speaker 4: to him, but he had a doctor's appointment. I guess
• 12:20
Speaker 4: he's undergoing some kind of you know, he's got to
• 12:23
Speaker 4: make sure of that because he's an old guy. You know,
• 12:26
  Speaker 4: he's my age. That's why I said that he's got
• 12:28
Speaker 4: to make sure that he's fit enough to throw out
• 12:29
Speaker 4: the first pitch. So we know Shockley, but we will

Speaker 4: end of the show. If we can make it work out,
• 14:53
Speaker 4: Veronica from the Coddle Seeman Convention Center is going to
• 14:56
Speaker 4: join us. Of course, Best Virginia is playing tonight, and
• 14:59
Speaker 4: if they win tonight, then they're gonna be playing for
• 15:03
Speaker 4: a million bucks on Sunday. Now, it still could happen
• 15:05
Speaker 4: that that million dollar game could be played in Charleston,
• 15:08
Speaker 4: But it all depends on what happens with another game.
• 15:10
Speaker 4: So we'll let Veronica explain that. I think we're going
• 15:13
Speaker 4: to try to add her toward the end of the show. Also,
• 15:14
Speaker 4: Joe Stevens is going to give us a yell to

Speaker 4: talk about the Taste of Nitro, which is going on

Speaker 4: on Saturday. Joe Garron from The Dirty Birds is here.
• 15:21
Speaker 4: Welcome to the show. Thank you, thank you for being here.
• 15:24
Speaker 4: All right, before we get to Saturday night, I want
• 15:26
Speaker 4: to talk about the other promotions and whatnot that you've
• 15:29
Speaker 4: got going on over the next couple of days.
• 15:31
Speaker 3: Right, so today's Thursday, Right, Thursday.
• 15:34
Speaker 4: I had to think for a second, Yeah, it is Thursday.
• 15:36
Speaker 4: Keep in mind you're talking to the guy Jill. Just
• 15:38
Speaker 4: so you know, you're talking to the guy who yesterday
• 15:41
Speaker 4: on Metro News Minday called himself the wrong name. Oh wow,
• 15:44
Speaker 4: I referred to myself as Dave Wilson. Wow, the host
• 15:47
Speaker 4: of Talk. And let me quickly tell you the story.
• 15:50
Speaker 4: So you think I'm not totally cracky. We were Amanda
• 15:53
Speaker 4: and I were interviewing Ryan Wilson, who's the sports guy
• 15:56
Speaker 4: with with with her TV station. Uh and and I
• 16:01
Speaker 4: had notes in front of me of who we were
• 16:02
Speaker 4: talking to, because I have a tendency to forget, I said.
• 16:06
Speaker 4: I jumped in and I said, hey, Ryan, and then
• 16:10
Speaker 4: I said, this is Dave. And then for some reason
• 16:12
Speaker 4: I picked up Wilson because that's Ryan's last name, Ryan Wilson.
• 16:15
Speaker 4: So I said to hey, this is Dave Wilson. And
• 16:18
Speaker 4: Dave Wilson co host a talk line in Morgantown. Just
• 16:21
Speaker 4: happened to be listening, and thought that was hilarious. Sent
• 16:24
Speaker 4: me at tex and said, I always knew why was
• 16:25
Speaker 4: your hero? So keep in mind you're not the only
• 16:29
Speaker 4: one that gets confused. Perfectly, I called myself the wrong
• 16:31
Speaker 4: name yesterday, so there's that.
• 16:33
Speaker 3: I just want to give you guys the wrong promotion.
• 16:35
Speaker 3: We're in the middle of a nine game homestance. That's
• 16:37
Speaker 3: why my brain's a little foggy right now. But with
• 16:39
Speaker 3: it being Thursday, it is Thirsty Thursday tonight. A part
• 16:42
Speaker 3: of that, you get one dollar sixteen ounce domestic beer
• 16:45
Speaker 3: or one dollar Waters, which everyone you prefer for Thirsty
• 16:48
Speaker 3: Thursday until seven thirty and then it bumps up to
• 16:51
Speaker 3: four dollars. Still a good deal. Friday is one of
• 16:55
Speaker 3: our big promotions. Every Friday is a giveaway, and this
• 16:57
Speaker 3: Friday is a shirt giveaway thanks to you Mark Health
• 17:00
Speaker 3: and also the Mountain. And then the big one we're
• 17:03
Speaker 3: talking about is Eighties Night this upcoming Saturday. Really excited
• 17:06
Speaker 3: for that with postgame fireworks.
• 17:08
Speaker 4: All right, so what all is going to go on
• 17:10
Speaker 4: at Eighties Night? The greatest decade?
• 17:11
Speaker 3: By the way, I'll take your word for that one,
• 17:14
  Speaker 3: Dave ye.
• 17:15
Speaker 4: Oh, cut deep, deep cuts, because I'm sure you weren't
• 17:20
  Speaker 4: around the.
• 17:20
Speaker 3: Night I was born in ninety six, so yep, sorry,
• 17:24
Speaker 3: that hurts all right, but Eighties Night, of course you
• 17:27
Speaker 3: can look for eighties music. Our on field MC has
• 17:31
Speaker 3: the brightest outfit I think I've ever seen on a
• 17:34
Speaker 3: grown man, So I'm very excited for that one. A
• 17:38
Speaker 3: lot of it is postgame fireworks with the music. Shockley's
• 17:40
Speaker 3: gonna be there for the first pitch. He's gonna be
• 17:42
Speaker 3: there to interact with fans. But we're gonna have some
• 17:44
Speaker 3: really fun in game stuff, an air guitar competition, a
• 17:47
Speaker 3: headbanging competition, and my favorite that I'm excited for, we're
• 17:50
Speaker 3: gonna have gen z Or's go on to the dugout
• 17:52
Speaker 3: and we're gonna put an image up on the video
• 17:54
Speaker 3: board or play a sound and see if they can
• 17:56
Speaker 3: name that. Ees thing I want like a dial up tone.
• 18:00
Speaker 3: I want to see a cassette tape up there. I'm
• 18:03
  Speaker 3: excited for it.
• 18:04
Speaker 4: So how are you going to pick the just random
• 18:06
Speaker 4: people out of the crowd?
• 18:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, random people usually people can If you want to participate,
• 18:09
Speaker 3: you can go to our guest services are fan assistants
• 18:11
Speaker 3: booth on the first base side and sign up to participate.
• 18:14
Speaker 3: But usually our promo team is kind of eyeing for
• 18:16
Speaker 3: the for the victims out there.
• 18:18
Speaker 4: The victims is a good way to put it. And
• 18:20
Speaker 4: the the interesting thing about you know things like that.
• 18:22
Speaker 4: And I talked about this a couple of weeks ago.
• 18:24
Speaker 4: We've all seen these videos on YouTube and whatnot or
• 18:26
Speaker 4: TikTok or whatever about. You know, you get somebody that's
• 18:30
Speaker 4: younger and try to have them use it. We did.
• 18:32
Speaker 4: We did this experiment a couple of weeks ago with
• 18:34
Speaker 4: one of the younger folks in the building and having
• 18:36
Speaker 4: them use a rotary tellels. But it's all relative because
• 18:41
Speaker 4: many of us old heads. You put us in an
• 18:44
Speaker 4: environment where we're going to try to use something that's
• 18:47
Speaker 4: relatively new. We're going to struggle with a little bit too,
• 18:49
Speaker 4: So tell the gen z or is not to feel
• 18:51
  Speaker 4: too badly.
• 18:52
  Speaker 12: I don't.
• 18:52
  Speaker 4: That's exciting though.
• 18:54
Speaker 3: It's just fun to poke fun at people, you know,
• 18:55
  Speaker 3: It's it's just so exciting.
• 18:57
Speaker 4: We need in the world is more people making fun.
• 18:59
Speaker 3: Of it, exactly, So baseball's here for what we are here.
• 19:02
Speaker 4: What we need more of is people making people laugh
• 19:05
Speaker 4: and having fun and not taking everything so dang seriously,
• 19:08
Speaker 4: that's what we need. Editorial comment there.
• 19:10
Speaker 3: For me, but love that. But yeah, we're excited to
• 19:13
Speaker 3: have that at the ballpark again. Posting fireworks is always
• 19:17
Speaker 3: a lot of fun. We're nearing down to the end
• 19:18
Speaker 3: of season. We only have about a month and a
• 19:21
Speaker 3: half left of home games unless we make the playoffs,
• 19:23
Speaker 3: So make sure you're coming out to the ballpark too
• 19:25
Speaker 3: to enjoy some summer baseball before we get ready for
• 19:28
  Speaker 3: late the night.
• 19:28
Speaker 4: All right, I got a text here for you. This says,
• 19:31
Speaker 4: for those of us at the Dirty Birds game, will
• 19:33
Speaker 4: you please give scoring updates to the TBT game tonight.
• 19:36
  Speaker 3: Yes.
• 19:37
Speaker 4: I can do that absolutely, because the person that would
• 19:39
Speaker 4: do that would be you.
• 19:40
Speaker 3: It would be me for on air, and then for
• 19:42
Speaker 3: the PA announcer. I'll just text them the updates and they, knowing,
• 19:46
Speaker 3: knowing our staff, they're going to be checking things off.
• 19:48
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 19:48
Speaker 4: Yeah, Well it's an exciting time. And you know, with
• 19:51
Speaker 4: the with with TBT, I mean, it's it's just been
• 19:53
Speaker 4: such a shot in the arm of the summer here
• 19:55
Speaker 4: and I mean this team, you know, and I know
• 19:57
Speaker 4: you guys get your own thing going on, but you
• 19:59
Speaker 4: are hearing for Best Virginia as well, because this is
• 20:02
Speaker 4: this is pretty awesome.
• 20:03
Speaker 3: Of course, we had half of our staff, including some
• 20:05
Speaker 3: of our players and coaching staff, were at the game
• 20:08
Speaker 3: on Monday, on our one off night, so definitely we
• 20:11
Speaker 3: want to go support them.
• 20:12
Speaker 4: And how cool is that? I mean, because not only
• 20:14
Speaker 4: not only were you guys there, but we also had
• 20:17
Speaker 4: members of the West Virginia team in the basketball Gas
• 20:20
Speaker 4: was there as well.
• 20:20
Speaker 3: It just makes it so much more fun. Not being
• 20:23
Speaker 3: from West Virginia, not being from Charleston, and I didn't
• 20:25
Speaker 3: really understand what this community was like. And I think
• 20:29
  Speaker 3: that's a perfect example.
• 20:30
Speaker 4: Yeah, I just got a note here from our Metro
• 20:32
Speaker 4: News Midday producer Stephanie that we just found out that
• 20:35
Speaker 4: the Emverlin team will be in blue tonight, So we
• 20:38
Speaker 4: want to encourage best Virginia fans to wear gold into
• 20:41
Speaker 4: a gold rush at the Conliseum tonight. And yeah, and
• 20:46
Speaker 4: so I think Veronica was going to try to get
• 20:47
Speaker 4: with us on that, but if not, we'll give you
• 20:49
Speaker 4: the information now. And so we'll talk about that a
• 20:52
Speaker 4: little bit later on. All right, what else is going
• 20:54
Speaker 4: on throughout the weekend there? What are we doing on Sunday?
• 20:56
Speaker 3: Sunday is our Princess Night. We're going to have Anna
• 20:59
Speaker 3: and Elsa Wana and Mary Bell, they will all be
• 21:02
Speaker 3: here to take photos with fans. We also have a
• 21:04
Speaker 3: VIP meet and greet that's specific for them. If you
• 21:07
Speaker 3: do that, go through our social media, buy your ticket there.
• 21:10
Speaker 3: You get entry early at one thirty. You get a
• 21:15
Speaker 3: buffet as a part of that ticket and exclusive meet
• 21:18
Speaker 3: and greet with the princesses. And if you don't want
• 21:21
Speaker 3: to do that, you just want to come in because
• 21:22
Speaker 3: Sunday's kids are free. We will have the princesses walking
• 21:25
Speaker 3: around starting at two thirty.
• 21:26
Speaker 4: It's pretty good. So how's everything going to overall at
• 21:29
Speaker 4: the ballpark this season? I mean, not just on the field.
• 21:31
Speaker 4: But how just what's the mood over at Go Mark Ballpark?
• 21:33
Speaker 4: How are things going with the Dirty Birds?
• 21:35
  Speaker 9: It's good.
• 21:35
Speaker 3: It's a loaded question when you're asking me in the
• 21:37
Speaker 3: middle of a tenday home stands. So I'm a little
• 21:39
Speaker 3: tired right now. It's a lot of fun.
• 21:41
  Speaker 13: You know.
• 21:42
Speaker 3: How can you be mad when you're working in baseball?
• 21:44
Speaker 3: You know, it's so much fun working here. The staff
• 21:47
Speaker 3: is ready. Where May was tough because we had about
• 21:50
Speaker 3: twenty one home games with the Birds and now we're
• 21:53
Speaker 3: just seeing the end of season coming. We want to
• 21:55
Speaker 3: make sure that all of these last minute promotions, but
• 21:57
Speaker 3: the last promotions are some of our best ones yet.

Speaker 4: did I see did I read this the other night?
• 22:18
Speaker 4: It wasn't at the game that you guys set a
• 22:20
Speaker 4: record the other night. We'll talk about this with the
• 22:22
Speaker 4: with there's a home run the home run record.
• 22:24
Speaker 3: Yes, this was in Long Island. I want to say.
• 22:27
Speaker 3: The date was July twentieth, and we had ten home
• 22:32
Speaker 3: runs in one game, and that ties the professional record,
• 22:35
Speaker 3: not just the Atlantic League or not just minor league
• 22:37
Speaker 3: baseball and all of professional baseball. Ten home runs in
• 22:40
Speaker 3: one game tied it.
• 22:42
Speaker 4: Ten homers in game.
• 22:43
Speaker 3: I think the last team to do it was the
• 22:44
Speaker 3: Toronto Blue Jo That's what I was thinking. It was
• 22:46
Speaker 3: tied with the Blue j I think it was nineteen
• 22:47
  Speaker 3: eighty seven, so.
• 22:49
Speaker 4: That ties the professional record. Last night, again you said
• 22:51
Speaker 4: not just I mean with those many home runs, you
• 22:53
Speaker 4: probably hit one, right.
• 22:54
Speaker 3: Right exactly, mean I just thought it, and that's exactly
• 22:56
  Speaker 3: what happened.
• 22:57
Speaker 4: I mean ten home runs. That's an incredible feat. Because
• 23:00
Speaker 4: i'd actually seen something on ESPN about that and I
• 23:03
Speaker 4: meant to make a mental note of it, and well
• 23:04
Speaker 4: I forgot. But that's that's incredible, and for you know,
• 23:09
Speaker 4: the Charleston Dirty Birds will be getting love on ESPN
• 23:11
Speaker 4: for doing that's that's pretty good stuff.
• 23:13
Speaker 3: It is special. I think it was six different guys
• 23:15
Speaker 3: at home runs, so some guys hit multiple home runs
• 23:17
Speaker 3: that day too, so it was it was a good game,
• 23:18
Speaker 3: and these guys can hit. So it's a fun, fun
• 23:21
Speaker 3: time right now to be a dirty Beard.
• 23:22
Speaker 4: And how many runs did you put up?
• 23:24
  Speaker 8: Total?
• 23:25
Speaker 4: I mean, I know you've got home runs, but how many?
• 23:26
Speaker 3: How many seventeen seventeen?
• 23:28
  Speaker 6: Yeah?
• 23:28
Speaker 4: And how many did the opposition get?
• 23:30
  Speaker 6: Long?
• 23:30
Speaker 3: Sixteen? So it was needed.
• 23:33
Speaker 4: Well, I was going to say, they said you could
• 23:35
Speaker 4: hit that night, and maybe the pitching not so much,
• 23:37
Speaker 4: but just on that one night because you've had a
• 23:39
Speaker 4: good pitching exactly. All right, Seventeen to sixty was the
• 23:42
Speaker 4: final score. We're talked with Jill Garrett of the Dirty Birds.
• 23:44
Speaker 4: All right, so give us all the details again, kind
• 23:47
Speaker 4: of review. What's going on between now and Sunday at
• 23:49
  Speaker 4: the ballpark?
• 23:49
  Speaker 2: Yep?
• 23:49
Speaker 3: So Tonight Thursday Thursday one dollar sixteen ounce domestic beer
• 23:53
Speaker 3: and one dollar water until seven thirty, then it bumps
• 23:55
Speaker 3: up to four dollars. On a Friday is a T
• 23:57
Speaker 3: shirt giveaway presented by Martial Health and The Mountain. On
• 24:01
Speaker 3: Saturday is posting fireworks with Eighties Night, and Sunday is
• 24:05
Speaker 3: Princess Night where you can meet Anna, Elsa, Marrabell and Mulwana.
• 24:08
Speaker 3: All information go to dirtybirdsbaseball dot Com.
• 24:11
Speaker 4: And do a great job on your social media pages
• 24:12
Speaker 4: as well. You're on all those as well. Joe Garren
• 24:14
Speaker 4: or the Dirty Birds appreciate it. Unfortunately, I'm not going
• 24:17
Speaker 4: to be there Saturday night. I'm actually going to be
• 24:19
Speaker 4: out of state this weekend. But if you could keep
• 24:21
Speaker 4: an eye on Shockley, because I mean, he's an older guy.
• 24:25
  Speaker 3: I heard he had a doctor's appointment. Hopefully, hopefully he'll
• 24:27
Speaker 3: get he'll get clear to be able to come and
• 24:29
Speaker 3: throw the first thing.
• 24:29
Speaker 4: He'll be there with all that hair, you know, so
• 24:33
Speaker 4: it'll go along with the head banging and the air
• 24:35
Speaker 4: guitar contest and everything else you're doing over there for
• 24:37
Speaker 4: eighties Night again, sponsored in part by our sister station
• 24:41
Speaker 4: ninety eight seven of Mouth and Joe Garon. Always a
• 24:42
Speaker 4: pleasure to have you on the show.
• 24:43
Speaker 3: We'll talk again, Sue, absolutely, thank you.
• 24:45
Speaker 4: All right, thanks lot. You can go ahead and take
• 24:46
Speaker 4: off because I gotta do a couple of other things here.
• 24:48
Speaker 4: I appreciate you stopping by the studio. Thanks a lot,
• 24:50
Speaker 4: Joe Garan and the Dirty Birds Again, I did want
• 24:53
Speaker 4: to throw this out here about the TVT tonight. We
• 24:55
Speaker 4: have received information again that their opposition tonight, they're going
• 25:00
Speaker 4: to be in blue. And so the folks at the
• 25:02
Speaker 4: Colosseuma Convention Center and with Best Virginia are urging if
• 25:06
Speaker 4: you're coming to the game tonight over at the Colosseuma
• 25:08
Speaker 4: Convention Center, please wear gold because they are doing a
• 25:12
Speaker 4: gold rush for the game tonight. The tickets will be
• 25:15
Speaker 4: available at the box office opening at ten this morning.
• 25:17
Speaker 4: Tip office set for six o'clock. And somebody had asked
• 25:20
Speaker 4: if the game was going to be televised. It is
• 25:22
Speaker 4: going to be televised, But why would you want to
• 25:25
Speaker 4: watch it on television when you can listen to it
• 25:27
Speaker 4: on Metro News. That's what I'm saying. But yeah, I
• 25:29
Speaker 4: do believe it is going to be televised. Text says
• 25:34
Speaker 4: Dave went to the TBT Tuesday, had a great time. However,
• 25:37
Speaker 4: the lower level seats are god awful. Mayor Goodwin promised
• 25:41
Speaker 4: on your show a while back they would be fixed.
• 25:43
Speaker 4: She needs to keep her word. Thanks, All right, all right,
• 25:45
Speaker 4: Mayor's office, you're on the clock, okay, So if I
• 25:49
Speaker 4: know they listened to the show every day, So if
• 25:51
Speaker 4: folks at Mayor good One's office they need those seats fixed.
• 25:54
  Speaker 6: All right.
• 25:57
Speaker 4: Follow up from some text we had from the show yesterday.
• 26:02
Speaker 4: We talked to the new Dunbar Police chief John Garton
• 26:05
Speaker 4: on the show yesterday. Text says Dunbar citizens are scared.
• 26:09
Speaker 4: Crime is rampant. The chief is not fooling us as
• 26:12
Speaker 4: it's extra well. He's been on the job since January.
• 26:15
Speaker 4: Needs more officers, as he talked about yesterday, so hopefully
• 26:20
Speaker 4: they'll they'll get it taken care of. Text says this
• 26:26
Speaker 4: is from yesterday. Way to carry water for the wealthy elites,
• 26:30
Speaker 4: Dave here to break down the details of millionaires, what
• 26:33
Speaker 4: they do, how they earn their money, what their wages
• 26:36
Speaker 4: and compensations are, not just vague generalities about how you
• 26:41
Speaker 4: could be a millionaire too, and quit whining about high prices.
• 26:43
Speaker 4: I have a long memory and we're called vividly you
• 26:45
Speaker 4: Dave crying about inflation. Okay, I don't know that I
• 26:50
Speaker 4: did that, but okay I will. I will if I did,
• 26:54
Speaker 4: I will own that vague generalities. Average millionaire in America
• 27:00
Speaker 4: work sixty seventy hours a week. It's available. You got
• 27:02
Speaker 4: to get off here, rear in and go make it happen.
• 27:05
Speaker 4: That simple Tex says, the dirty birds have done a
• 27:11
Speaker 4: great job of keeping my family away. When they cease
• 27:14
Speaker 4: taking good old American money, I stopped going and won't
• 27:16
Speaker 4: go back until they accept money again, make the dirty
• 27:18
Speaker 4: birds normally again, start accepting currency again. Well that's probably
• 27:22
Speaker 4: not gonna happen, textter. I appreciate the text, but I'm
• 27:25
Speaker 4: gonna say it's probably not gonna happen, because that's just
• 27:29
Speaker 4: we're moving that way. Marshall University announcing last week that
• 27:32
Speaker 4: they would no longer be accepting cash at the ballgame.
• 27:36
Speaker 4: So if you're gonna get a beer, you gotta get
• 27:37
Speaker 4: a soda or whatever, a hot dog or whatever at
• 27:41
Speaker 4: the jon. Then if you go down for a Marshall game,
• 27:44
Speaker 4: you can't use cash. They made an announcement last week.
• 27:47
Speaker 4: Dex said, I'm so glad to live in a country
• 27:48
Speaker 4: where mass shootings are so pervasive that it's nonchalant when
• 27:51
Speaker 4: one happens. Our kids are trained on how not to
• 27:54
Speaker 4: be a target, and Republicans, who wear God in their
• 27:56
Speaker 4: sleeves like hypocrites, as Jesus said, offer only prayer and
• 28:00
Speaker 4: admit it's just a fact of life that our kids
• 28:02
Speaker 4: are targets. Republicans have no honor or integrity as a text. Uh,
• 28:10
Speaker 4: Dave says the texture. Will the Mike Stewart Center confirmation
• 28:14
Speaker 4: be televised? I don't know, Uh, maybe somewhere from what
• 28:18
Speaker 4: I understand about the Stuart confirmation, and this is we're
• 28:23
Speaker 4: talking about s Senator Mike Stewart, who is up for
• 28:25
Speaker 4: confirmation to a new role in the Trump administration today.
• 28:28
Speaker 4: There's actually several people that are going to be It's
• 28:32
Speaker 4: we call it into business, a cattle call when everybody
• 28:34
Speaker 4: comes together. And that's what I understand is that we're
• 28:36
Speaker 4: keeping a close eye on it. Brad mcilahanney and I
• 28:38
Speaker 4: talked about it this morning. Don't know if it will
• 28:40
Speaker 4: be televised, but it's just one of many confirmations that
• 28:44
Speaker 4: are scheduled to take place today or hearings I should
• 28:46
Speaker 4: say about about confirmations. Let's see can the rent for
• 28:55
Speaker 4: the ballpark? Well, she's already gone. Say if there will
• 28:59
Speaker 4: be fireworks after this game and sow times since they
• 29:02
Speaker 4: choose to use ultra megablazed fireworks also extra loud, and
• 29:05
Speaker 4: I live two blocks away. I need to make sure
• 29:07
Speaker 4: my dogs are inside and say that's after Saturday's night's game.
• 29:11
Speaker 4: Texture David's text is neither here nor they're regarding your
• 29:16
  Speaker 4: show's subjects. So far, that's fine, but Jerome Palle's a
• 29:19
Speaker 4: terrible fed chair. Whoever hired that fool needs to be fired,
• 29:25
Speaker 4: says a Texture. Texas man. I've never heard so much venom,
• 29:28
Speaker 4: envy and hate for people that have more than others
• 29:31
Speaker 4: from these textures. Grow up people, says a Texture. I
• 29:34

Speaker 4: Text says Mike Stewart had a death in his family.
• 32:25
Speaker 4: Prayers to all of them. Yeah, I saw that. I
• 32:27
Speaker 4: believe it was Senator Stewart's ants that was. I think
• 32:32
Speaker 4: it was his aunt that was allegedly killed by a
• 32:33
Speaker 4: drunk driver, and so if if I'm incorrect about that,
• 32:38
Speaker 4: I'll apologize, But yeah, it is our Our thoughts and

Speaker 4: We're always happy to have you here, Tex says. And
• 33:05
Speaker 4: just an fy I to those magas who don't know
• 33:07
Speaker 4: which is most likely the case. Donald Trump hired Jerome Palell,
• 33:10
Speaker 4: says a Texter. Another texta says the same thing. Donald
• 33:14
Speaker 4: Trump hired Jerome Palell in twenty eighteen, so I agree
• 33:16
Speaker 4: whoever hired him should be fired. Bye bye, Donny says
• 33:20
Speaker 4: a texture. Big happenings in Nitro this Saturday, the Taste
• 33:24
Speaker 4: of Nitro is going on. Joe Stevens with the City
• 33:26
Speaker 4: of Nitro joins us now. Good morning, sir, and welcome to.
• 33:29
Speaker 8: The show Non Controversial. Where deco from.
• 33:33
Speaker 4: Well, in your official role as a spokesperson for the
• 33:39
Speaker 4: City of Nitro, you're non controversial. Away, you're extremely controversial.
• 33:45
Speaker 8: To be debated. But talking about the Taste of Nitro.
• 33:49
Speaker 8: I got try non controversial event going on in Nitro
• 33:54
  Speaker 8: on Saturday. It's gonna be a it's gonna be a
• 33:57
Speaker 8: good time, David. It's a fundraising event that has been
• 34:03
Speaker 8: going on for a number of years and it is
• 34:05
Speaker 8: to raise money for the Nitro Mission Team. The Nitro
• 34:09
Speaker 8: Mission Team runs the Nitro Food Pantry, which just does
• 34:13
Speaker 8: a bunch of great things for the City of Nitro
• 34:16
Speaker 8: and the residence. And the event on Saturday will go
• 34:19
Speaker 8: from twelve until four and it'll be from It'll be
• 34:23
Speaker 8: right there at Living Memorial Park and that will be happening,
• 34:28
Speaker 8: Like I said, twelve to four, but it's right at
• 34:30
Speaker 8: Second Avenue and twenty first Street. Just lots of good
• 34:33
Speaker 8: food and that's right up your alley.
• 34:34
Speaker 4: I want to hear about the food, so let's break
• 34:37
Speaker 4: it down what do we got food wise for the
• 34:38
  Speaker 4: taste of Nitro.
• 34:40
Speaker 8: Well, we've got everything has been fixed and served right
• 34:44
Speaker 8: there on site. We've got hamburgers, we've got hot dogs,
• 34:48
Speaker 8: we've got Italian sausages, we've got a lot of the
• 34:52
Speaker 8: condiments of ice cream, and we've got of course, we've
• 34:55
  Speaker 8: got pepperoni rolls.
• 34:56
  Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
• 34:57
Speaker 8: But what people will do they will show up and
• 35:00
Speaker 8: just buy tickets, and tickets will get them the food
• 35:03
Speaker 8: that's being served by the various churches in Nitro. They've
• 35:07
Speaker 8: all come together and they're volunteering their time and raising
• 35:11
Speaker 8: money for the Nitro mission team. Again, they run the
• 35:16
Speaker 8: Nitro pantry and every Tuesday there's they they they open
• 35:21
Speaker 8: up and they help a lot of residents in the area.
• 35:25
Speaker 4: Talk about how the tickets will work. You got to
• 35:27
Speaker 4: buy your tickets for this. How many tickets do you get?
• 35:29
Speaker 4: What's the pricing? How does how does all that work?
• 35:32
Speaker 8: It's a bucket ticket, five for you know, you five
• 35:36
  Speaker 8: for you know, it's a it's a dollar ticket and
• 35:40
Speaker 8: you can get your sausages for like three tickets, or
• 35:43
Speaker 8: your hot dogs for like three tickets, that sort of thing.
• 35:46
Speaker 8: You just take your tickets up there'll be different tables
• 35:50
Speaker 8: where you can go up and buy your tickets. Something
• 35:52
Speaker 8: I definitely wanted to mention is that the city of
• 35:55
Speaker 8: Nitro with Secure Net out of South Charleton, which provides
• 36:00
Speaker 8: the fiber service in Nitro, they are giving away one
• 36:05
Speaker 8: hundred school backpacks filled with various things like ear buds
• 36:11
Speaker 8: and just different school supplies that will be needed with
• 36:15
Speaker 8: school starting in just about a week or so.
• 36:19
Speaker 4: It's good stuff and I do will do want to
• 36:20
Speaker 4: mention that, speaking of the folks of Secure Net, our
• 36:24
Speaker 4: Cissusation ninety eight seven, A Mountain Wild Wonderful Classic Rock
• 36:27
Speaker 4: will be broadcasting live from their courtesy of the folks
• 36:30
Speaker 4: to Secure Net. Steve Animal is going to be there,
• 36:31
Speaker 4: So you're gonna have to put up with Animal on
• 36:33
Speaker 4: Saturday too, you know that, right.
• 36:35
Speaker 8: Well, I can do that. Animals also got to put
• 36:39
  Speaker 8: up with me.
• 36:39
Speaker 4: There you go the rual side.
• 36:41
Speaker 8: Of things in this equation. But also we will have
• 36:45
Speaker 8: a foam dome and a swip inside for the kids
• 36:49
Speaker 8: to enjoy, and there'll be a kid zone there, so
• 36:52
Speaker 8: come on out and scrub a dub's kind of thing.
• 36:55
Speaker 8: That foam dome is so cool. You just go in
• 36:57
Speaker 8: there and and they end up look seeking like a
• 37:00
Speaker 8: foam snowman or snowboy or snowgirl, as it.
• 37:03
Speaker 4: May be explain in night you're where this stuff is
• 37:06
Speaker 4: taking it's taking place again.
• 37:10
Speaker 8: It's at Living Memorial Park, just one block off of
• 37:13
Speaker 8: First Avenue or Route twenty five, right next to City
• 37:16
Speaker 8: Hall and the Fire Department. And actually the CVB is
• 37:20
Speaker 8: right there and it will be right at second and
• 37:23
  Speaker 8: twenty first Street.
• 37:24
Speaker 4: All right, Joe, as always, it's pleasure to have you
• 37:27
Speaker 4: on the show. Great event, and the weather absolutely the
• 37:30
Speaker 4: Spencers and the Brian Hughes of the world have done
• 37:33
Speaker 4: a fantastic job with the weather because once we get
• 37:35
Speaker 4: through today, there's some storms on the prow another hot day,
• 37:38
Speaker 4: but it's going to move out of here by tomorrow.
• 37:40
Speaker 4: Great for Live on the Levee tomorrow night, but it's
• 37:42
Speaker 4: also going to be great for your event on Saturday
• 37:45
Speaker 4: as well. So can't complain about the weather, especially when
• 37:48
Speaker 4: you compare and contrast to what we've had over the
• 37:50
Speaker 4: last couple of weeks. So come on out there and
• 37:52
  Speaker 4: enjoy it.
• 37:54
Speaker 8: Hey, it will be a fun time and for a
• 37:56
Speaker 8: good cause. Dave have to pat you on the back.
• 37:59
Speaker 8: I know you're big Cincinnati Reds fan. Big trade for you, Yes,
• 38:02
Speaker 8: snap the third Basement from Pittsburgh.
• 38:05
Speaker 4: I saw that that's not going to make Dave Weekly
• 38:08
Speaker 4: very happy, or maybe it will make you happy. I
• 38:10
  Speaker 4: don't know. He's on vacation this week, so I don't
• 38:12
Speaker 4: have to text him and see what he thinks about that. Hey, Joe,
• 38:14
Speaker 4: I appreciate you being here. Man, Thanks a lot, Hey, safriend.
• 38:18
Speaker 4: All right, again, that event is happening this Saturday in
• 38:21
Speaker 4: Nitro and again our sister Station ninety eight seven of
• 38:24
Speaker 4: the Mountain Wild wonderful classic rock Steve Animal will be
• 38:26
Speaker 4: their lives. Come on out and help out a great cause,
• 38:29
Speaker 4: the Nitro Mission and lots of great food, the taste
• 38:32
Speaker 4: of Nitro. Can't complain about the weather because it's going
• 38:35
Speaker 4: to be absolutely fantastic. Let's go back to the text.
• 38:38
Speaker 4: I don't know what's up with the Texters today. Man,
• 38:40
Speaker 4: everybody's got something to say, and that's fine.
• 38:42
  Speaker 9: O G.
• 38:43
Speaker 4: Working sixty to seventy hours a week guarantees I'll be
• 38:46
Speaker 4: a millionaire and no need to talk about the actual
• 38:48
Speaker 4: wage amount. Dave, I bet you're a billionaire with all
• 38:50
Speaker 4: the hours you work. Quit carrying water for the elites.
• 38:53
Speaker 4: I'm go leave that one alone, Texas, Dave, I'm your
• 38:56
Speaker 4: Florida listener who used to live there. You're so right
• 38:58
Speaker 4: about the war and success. I'm successful because I busted
• 39:01
Speaker 4: my butt to get there. I was paid very well.
• 39:04
Speaker 4: Not many out there are flight medics who landed on
• 39:07
Speaker 4: the interstate or an open field to save lives. I
• 39:09
  Speaker 4: did that.
• 39:09
  Speaker 6: Well.
• 39:09
Speaker 4: Thank you, texture whomever you are, for your service. I
• 39:15
Speaker 4: do appreciate that. Dave. Please bring someone on your program
• 39:19
Speaker 4: to discuss the repair and paving projects for our secondary roads.
• 39:24
Speaker 4: We as a state deserve better secondary roads. Tex says, sorry,
• 39:29
Speaker 4: but I got to ask. Since winter earbuds required school supplies,
• 39:32
  Speaker 4: I don't know about them being I guess they're required.
• 39:35
Speaker 4: I don't have kids or grandkids in school, so I
• 39:37
Speaker 4: don't are anywhere for that matter. But I don't know.
• 39:39
Speaker 4: But I do know because we'll be doing our backpack,
• 39:42
Speaker 4: our beat back attack next week, and I do know
• 39:45
Speaker 4: that is an in demand thing. Is the era is
• 39:47
Speaker 4: the earbuds? I'm presuming because I know in Kanawha County
• 39:51
Speaker 4: every student is given an iPad. I'm for their work,
• 39:56
Speaker 4: and I'm presuming that that would be so they can study,
• 40:00
  Speaker 4: you know, I guess I don't know, but yeah, it's
• 40:03
Speaker 4: that and water bottles. They have to have their own
• 40:05
Speaker 4: water bottle in many school systems. That seems to be
• 40:07
Speaker 4: the big thing gone of the days of the trapper keepers.
• 40:11
Speaker 4: It looks like just really dated myself there. It's thirteen
• 40:13
Speaker 4: minutes away from ten Metro News Midday with thirteen News
• 40:17
Speaker 4: and Tonight Live anchor Manda Bear to me, except no
• 40:20
Speaker 4: Amanda today, it's just me on the show. I'll be
• 40:22
Speaker 4: flying soda. We're gonna spend more time talking about the
• 40:24
Speaker 4: TBT West Virginia now being one went away from playing
• 40:28
Speaker 4: for the one million dollar prize. Daniel Woods for the
• 40:30
Speaker 4: Metro News Sports team will be here to talk about that.
• 40:33
Speaker 4: Our old buddy Rob Cornelius's gonna stop by. We're gonna
• 40:36
Speaker 4: get a first hand account of the tsunami situation in Hawaii.
• 40:40
Speaker 4: The West Virginia Teacher of the Year who just happens
• 40:43
Speaker 4: to teach in the PoCA area and happens to be
• 40:46
Speaker 4: in Hawaii on vacation, so we're gonna check in on him.
• 40:49
Speaker 4: Mentioned earlier some severe weather on the Prime, but the
• 40:51
Speaker 4: weekend shaping up to be fantastic good news for events
• 40:54
Speaker 4: like the Taste of Nitro Live on the Levee and more.
• 40:56
Speaker 4: Meteorologies show Fitzwater will join us to talk about it.
• 40:58
Speaker 4: There's a big mind rescue event going not at at WVU.
• 41:01
Speaker 4: We'll get into that, plus mentioned earlier. We are monitoring
• 41:04
Speaker 4: the confirmation process for Senator Mike Stewart as he stands
• 41:07
