- 0:08Speaker 1: So I'm testing something right now, and I'm eating. I'm
- 0:12eating the wrong background. This is a test. I may
- 0:17release this. Who knows? That's how I feel. Laser grass.
- 0:22Let's do that.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Eating a sausage muffled egg. This is funny, folks. It's
- 0:33something interesting. The salsa packets are different. McDonald's elsewhere. It's
- 0:38like this.
- 0:40Speaker 1: But the ones in L.A. look different.
- 0:43Speaker 2: That's your story today. How's everybody? What are y'all doing?
- 0:51Let's drop that. So I was Zoom in a couple
- 0:56of days. We went to Donuts, talking soaps. It was
- 1:01a good time. That went through, it went through. I'm
- 1:07having a good time.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Indiana, I'm tired. But I'm having a good time. One
- 1:21of the things.
- 1:25Speaker 2: That this trip is reminding me of is my life
- 1:29in LA. I was telling somebody the other day, I feel.
- 1:38Almost like a normal adult. Even though I had to
- 1:42take care of something with my mom yesterday, it was
- 1:44really brief. It reminded me of my life in LA.
- 1:47I was reminded of my life in LA. I feel
- 1:50like being here, not in LA vicinity, not dealing with
- 1:54doctors and nurses and hospitals and groceries and the yard
- 2:00and the garden and.
- 2:01Speaker 1: All that stuff. I'm having such a good time. I
- 2:07feel like a free adult. I'm just here. I'm working.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I'm socializing. I'm taking care of business. I'm not necessarily
- 2:16taking care of anything. That's not mine. My stuff's all
- 2:22about my business right now. I feel like I'm getting
- 2:26a glimpse of what my life could be like at
- 2:29some point.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Or maybe it never is going to be like this
- 2:34ever again. I mean, who knows? I just.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I feel almost like a normal, regular adult with not
- 2:40a lot of, you know, extra pressures.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And it feels nice.
- 2:45Speaker 2: It just feels like, wow, okay, I'm handling stuff. And
- 2:49because I am here, it's a work trip. I am working.
- 2:52I'm having a really good time. And I've already been
- 2:57here almost a week. And then I have another week here.
- 3:02And then I go to Chicago, and I'm excited. Chicago's
- 3:04actually the fun one. That's a little quick. It's a
- 3:07connecting trip, so that one is going to be fun.
- 3:11I may just sleep. I mean, I have a couple
- 3:12of friends I'm going to see, hopefully. But even if
- 3:16I don't see them, I'm going to get upset, because
- 3:17I'm so tired. I'm probably going to knock out. But
- 3:23I just, I'm realizing, I'm already thinking about, okay, when
- 3:26I go back to L.A., Cause there's so much going
- 3:32on in LA, always. I'm invited to stuff all the time.
- 3:34And a lot of times I'm just like, can I
- 3:38do it? Can I not do it? Can I retire?
- 3:41It's making me look at everything going, you know, James,
- 3:44you want us to grow this company and give people
- 3:47diverse content. That is reminding me on some level too,
- 3:50that I miss those days where I was running around,
- 3:52going to all the events. And there's this one guy
- 3:55that I follow, he's a really nice guy who's in
- 3:59the film industry.
- 4:01Speaker 1: He goes to everything. And I'm like, how do you
- 4:04go to everything?
- 4:05Speaker 2: He's everywhere. He has content for days. And it's just like,
- 4:09how do you do it? It's so much work. But
- 4:12he's having the time of his life.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And I feel like, I.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Don't know, maybe that's what I feel like. I'm being
- 4:16reminded that I want to have fun. Whether it's work
- 4:21or not, I want to have fun. I deserve fun.
- 4:24And so I got to figure out a way to
- 4:29work that somehow in L.A.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Too.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But I know, but I'm highly aware, and other guys
- 4:35probably know this too when you go away somewhere, when
- 4:37you leave where you live, when you leave where you live,
- 4:43you feel a weight lifted off of you. I know
- 4:46I'm feeling that. So I'm like, how can I bring
- 4:52that feeling, I don't have the answer, back with me
- 4:56to L.A.
- 4:59Speaker 1: where I do have a lot of responsibility.
- 5:01Speaker 2: So I'm like, I just, that's just like, and not
- 5:03like the responsibility is gone for sure. Like right, for
- 5:06me right now, it's like, it's still there, but it's
- 5:07just like, it's just, it's manifesting differently.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It feels different. Something I gotta work on.
- 5:14Speaker 2: And I guess also because this morning I was interviewed
- 5:16for a program called The Power of Family about being
- 5:20a grandparent. And that was, we had some, they asked
- 5:23me some really good questions. It's always interesting being interviewed,
- 5:26but I'm the interviewer, right? So that was that too.
- 5:32And also I'm surrounded by Doug's family and I'm watching them,
- 5:37their dynamics. And it's just, it's just being in the Midwest.
- 5:42It's just very different and everything's just different. So I, yeah,
- 5:46I'm just, it's, yeah, it's a trip.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's all a trip. But I was testing to see
- 5:54if this works. This may come out. It may not.
- 5:56If it doesn't come out, hi you guys. If it doesn't,
- 5:57it goes in the vaults. We'll see. Well, I hope
- 6:00everybody's having a good day.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Bye.
