Transcript
- 0:05Speaker 1: I'm already prepping that line for baby G when she arrives.
- 0:07Speaker 1: You know, you can have my credit card. I just
- 0:09Speaker 1: want to switch it up. We've been using Bieber Baby
- 0:11Speaker 1: a lot, so I had to change it up for you.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I like it. I like it. I'll take it.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Baby GE's due date is today. Will she be here?
- 0:18Speaker 1: Will she enjoy her house just a little bit longer?
- 0:21Speaker 1: In her house?
- 0:22Speaker 3: Being my wife? I don't know if that sounds great
- 0:24Speaker 3: to say that, though, Well, it just is that. Yeah,
- 0:26Speaker 3: that's right.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We had asked on Big ninety eight point seven's Facebook page,
- 0:30Speaker 1: which the comments section is undefeated, what was your favorite
- 0:33Speaker 1: or is your favorite way to naturally induce labor? Yeah,
- 0:39Speaker 1: some comments were very heartfelt and very sweet, and I
- 0:41Speaker 1: think genuinely trying to help kick this thing along, which
- 0:45Speaker 1: is awesome. And then of course there were some comments
- 0:47Speaker 1: that were hilarious. And what did I do, Angie? I
- 0:49Speaker 1: took your comments and created an absolute banger that will
- 0:54Speaker 1: be played on Big ninety eight point seven for years
- 0:56Speaker 1: to come, or for anyone who's pregnant and needs a
- 0:58Speaker 1: little bit of help.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Okay, so this is the induced Labor.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Song, the induced Labor Song, or I think what we've
- 1:06Speaker 1: called it is uh old wives tales or something along
- 1:10Speaker 1: those lines. Okay, yeah, and I've got it for you,
- 1:13Speaker 1: and I would like you to hear it and let
- 1:14Speaker 1: me know what you think after its seven oh one
- 1:16Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven if you left
- 1:19Speaker 1: a comment, don't be surprised if you hear that in
- 1:21Speaker 1: this song here on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Did the days with peanut butter and chocolate six a
- 1:32Speaker 4: day letters soak and so that's when folks get passing
- 1:40Speaker 4: down on the do day. It will started in the
- 1:42Speaker 4: show I'm told them my mom's friends, the goobol in
- 1:50Speaker 4: the night I was born, cheer rode the lainer, rolled
- 1:54Speaker 4: on home in a showed the bam on and the
- 1:56Speaker 4: horizontal mambo. You do we go to way too weird.
- 2:00Speaker 4: In between, every whole wife to got stacked up like
- 2:04Speaker 4: a grocery list.
- 2:05Speaker 2: In between.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Back in the day, I was close to my du date,
- 2:18Speaker 4: didn't I him hold along running back, pushed through the
- 2:23Speaker 4: heat till the neighbors looked twice and moved on.
- 2:25Speaker 2: The yoga bo stopped.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Pumping, thinking it may take a day or so, and
- 2:30Speaker 4: then fifteen minutes laiter on my water broke before I
- 2:34Speaker 4: could even eat my stuff.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Companion Mill gets it going.
- 2:47Speaker 4: That was the word on the street, spicy food as
- 2:51Speaker 4: of walk, and I kept putting my ales under my feet.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And just like that, I got a text, I gotta
- 3:17Speaker 3: get to the hospital. And I'm just kidding.
- 3:19Speaker 2: That's not drop Gabe.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 3:29Speaker 5: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:31Speaker 6: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:33Speaker 6: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:37Speaker 5: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 3:39Speaker 5: little victories with us at seven oh one two eight
- 3:42Speaker 5: oh one ninety eight seven, Angie.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Do you have a little victory for us here today?
- 3:47Speaker 7: I took Mikey for his very first panic here yesterday.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I'm heading out of town.
- 3:54Speaker 7: Over the weekend and it's like a pool thing that
- 3:56Speaker 7: we're doing out in Vegas, and my talent needed some work,
- 4:03Speaker 7: and so we went together. I don't even know which place.
- 4:06Speaker 7: It was inside the West Acres Mall, but we went
- 4:09Speaker 7: and got pedicures together. I got my nails painted. He
- 4:14Speaker 7: did not, but he really enjoyed.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Did he get the clear coat?
- 4:18Speaker 7: No? No, he just did all the you know, the massage, scrubs,
- 4:21Speaker 7: the whatever, and boy did this man feel on top
- 4:25Speaker 7: of the world.
- 4:25Speaker 2: He was like, my feet are so.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Nice right now.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I remember I was probably like twenty twenty one something
- 4:33Speaker 1: like that.
- 4:33Speaker 3: I got a pedicure once.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like.
- 4:35Speaker 7: It's so just refreshing and nice and relaxing. And I
- 4:40Speaker 7: think that there's maybe some like weird stigma or something
- 4:44Speaker 7: for men to get pedicures, like it's not macho or whatever.
- 4:47Speaker 2: But self care is really hot.
- 4:50Speaker 7: So we're trying to cuddle in bed with like scratchy
- 4:55Speaker 7: sharp claws, you know what I mean.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I probably am rocking some talons right now. Get it together,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I know, I gotta sharpen up here.
- 5:03Speaker 2: What is your little victory?
- 5:04Speaker 1: A big shout out to Ali here today. See this
- 5:07Speaker 1: is the spirit of little victories that I love. Ali
- 5:11Speaker 1: found her dongle. Okay, she said she has this really
- 5:14Speaker 1: nice wireless headset that she was using for work. She
- 5:18Speaker 1: started a new job, and this is at home. They
- 5:22Speaker 1: require everyone to have headsets with the plug in, but
- 5:25Speaker 1: you need a dongle for the ones.
- 5:28Speaker 2: What is a dongle?
- 5:30Speaker 1: It's so you know with your like you have an
- 5:33Speaker 1: iPhone with the lightning Yeah. Well, imagine you have a
- 5:36Speaker 1: headset that just has the eight millimeter like straight line
- 5:39Speaker 1: little plug. Yeah, you plug into this adapter and then
- 5:43Speaker 1: into the bottom.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Of your phone.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Okay, so that's the dongle.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yes, man, She was getting ready to buy a new
- 5:51Speaker 1: dongle for her first day of training, which starts next week,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and she was gonna buy a new dongle, but no,
- 5:57Speaker 1: she found it in a plastic bag in her junk drawer.
- 6:01Speaker 7: Yes, congratulations, hard to find things in there.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I'm very impressed.
- 6:07Speaker 1: The junk drawer where things live forever and also go
- 6:10Speaker 1: to die at the same time. Yeah, it is incredible,
- 6:14Speaker 1: my little victory. Today's a food one. Four years I
- 6:17Speaker 1: have been hearing about Corey's mother's broccoli cheese soup.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Okay, and you never had this, never, not one time.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And Corey and I have been together for like a decade,
- 6:30Speaker 1: maybe even eleven years.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I'd have to do ten years plus.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah, And her mother is with us this week as
- 6:36Speaker 1: we get ready for baby G to enter on into
- 6:38Speaker 1: the world. And I finally yesterday got to have my
- 6:42Speaker 1: mother in law's broccoli cheese soup.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 6:46Speaker 7: And you love a soup, Gabe gly Is, he loves
- 6:51Speaker 7: a soup. Okay, so how do you feel well?
- 6:52Speaker 1: And so Corey would always go to like Panera because
- 6:55Speaker 1: she would say that's the closest to how her mom
- 6:58Speaker 1: would make it. Okay, And I will say an aarra
- 7:00Speaker 1: brocoli cheese soup. It's incredible. Yeah, there is something about
- 7:05Speaker 1: mom in law's broccoli cheese soup that is to die for.
- 7:09Speaker 1: She could if she could figure out a way to
- 7:11Speaker 1: mass produce it and put it in like little tupperwares
- 7:14Speaker 1: and sell it. Yeah, I think she'd be a millionaire.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I love that so good.
- 7:19Speaker 7: So I know that as soon as the show is done,
- 7:22Speaker 7: you put some soup in the microwave.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Did you bring this back?
- 7:26Speaker 3: I did not bring it.
- 7:27Speaker 1: No, No, I'm saving it for later when I can, Okay,
- 7:30Speaker 1: when I can sit and save what's the savory?
- 7:33Speaker 3: I can savor it?
- 7:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And so I do not have any here because I
- 7:36Speaker 3: want to share.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So well, I have some wonderful news.
- 7:47Speaker 2: What's the news?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I am at work today, all right, So no baby
- 7:51Speaker 1: ge just yet.
- 7:54Speaker 2: What is the full update on baby Watch?
- 7:57Speaker 1: I would say there's really no update now today is
- 8:01Speaker 1: the do date. But I have been joking with Corey
- 8:04Speaker 1: a lot about how you're just so good at being pregnant,
- 8:08Speaker 1: You're just so good at it that she really just
- 8:11Speaker 1: likes her house.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Which she loves to hear.
- 8:16Speaker 7: I'm sure I feel for Corey because I've been in
- 8:19Speaker 7: this position twice before. I know Corey's ready, and I
- 8:25Speaker 7: know she's thinking, can.
- 8:26Speaker 3: You be ready? Baby? G?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Like what are you doing in that?
- 8:30Speaker 1: She's talking to her all day, telling her like, you know,
- 8:32Speaker 1: you could get out of there.
- 8:34Speaker 3: It's pretty funny.
- 8:34Speaker 1: But one way or another, tomorrow we will have an
- 8:38Speaker 1: appointment with the doctor whoever, Yeah, because it won't be
- 8:42Speaker 1: our regular one.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I think she's on vacation to just schedule whatever we
- 8:47Speaker 1: need to schedule to get this thing going. So one
- 8:49Speaker 1: way or the other, she'll either arrive when she arrives,
- 8:53Speaker 1: maybe this weekend, maybe today, maybe tomorrow.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Now, you never know.
- 8:57Speaker 7: When I was pregnant with Aiden, I was set to
- 9:01Speaker 7: be induced on my due date in the evening. Yeah,
- 9:05Speaker 7: and maybe two or three hours before my appointment to
- 9:09Speaker 7: get induced, my water broke on its stone. And so
- 9:14Speaker 7: you just never know. That's the funny part about pregnancy.
- 9:18Speaker 7: It's just I don't know. I'm at the mercy and
- 9:20Speaker 7: whatever this baby decays.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Yeah, And I was doing some research because I have said,
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm like, well, what if she's one of the very
- 9:26Speaker 1: few kids who actually arrives on the do date that's
- 9:30Speaker 1: given to her by the doctors. I learned only five
- 9:33Speaker 1: percent of babies arrive on their due date.
- 9:37Speaker 3: So there is a tiny.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Part of me that really really hopes it could be
- 9:41Speaker 1: today because you like, so that I could tell that
- 9:44Speaker 1: story for the rest of my and her life, Yeah,
- 9:48Speaker 1: which would be wonderful. Like, oh, you know how kids
- 9:50Speaker 1: get due dates, Well, yeah, you actually arrived on yours.
- 9:53Speaker 1: That never happened.
- 9:54Speaker 2: That like never happened, honestly.
- 9:56Speaker 7: My due date was October fourteenth and then and she
- 10:00Speaker 7: was like, let's just set to induce you on October
- 10:03Speaker 7: fourteenth if you want, And I said, yeah, absolutely.
- 10:06Speaker 2: My water broke on it and I thought, okay, my
- 10:08Speaker 2: baby's coming on the do date. No, he took his time,
- 10:11Speaker 2: so I.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Was in labor, but I didn't have him until the
- 10:14Speaker 7: next morning, so I just missed that with ate it
- 10:17Speaker 7: yeah boo.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Yeah, So either way, well, you know, slowly learn more.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I guess throughout today as I text my wife back
- 10:25Speaker 1: and forth. But I will say a big shout out
- 10:27Speaker 1: to the big ninety eight point seven Facebook comment section,
- 10:30Speaker 1: because the comments section is undefeated. Yesterday, Corey eight Peanut
- 10:35Speaker 1: butter pitted dates. Oh she did. She went on a
- 10:40Speaker 1: good handful of walks.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 1: She also was doing they call it like curb walking,
- 10:46Speaker 1: where you have one on the street. Yeah, and so
- 10:52Speaker 1: we did some of that. And what about the other thing?
- 10:57Speaker 1: What about the other thing that a lot of people
- 10:59Speaker 1: were suggested? What was what were they suggesting? Oh, the
- 11:03Speaker 1: horizontal mambo. I told you'd be a quick exercise. Okay,
- 11:07Speaker 1: But we did appreciate all of those suggestions on Facebook,
- 11:11Speaker 1: and we tried every single one of them.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And still no baby.
- 11:16Speaker 3: So we'll find out.
- 11:22Speaker 1: A family dog is being called a hero after chasing
- 11:26Speaker 1: off a bear that came within feet of a young
- 11:31Speaker 1: kid who was playing in his driveway. Security video was
- 11:34Speaker 1: all over the TV yesterday if you watched the News
- 11:38Speaker 1: or the Today Show or whatever. There was a husky
- 11:41Speaker 1: dog who leapt at this bear that was running in
- 11:44Speaker 1: this driveway, supposedly at this kid playing just like kids
- 11:48Speaker 1: playing their driveway. The dog's reward, he got a well
- 11:51Speaker 1: earned t bone steak from his eyes. The owner also added,
- 11:56Speaker 1: you kind of always wonder that, you know, if you
- 11:57Speaker 1: have a pet, any pet, if something happened, are you
- 12:02Speaker 1: are you like helping with line of defense or the
- 12:04Speaker 1: first one to run. My dog, Winona probably the first
- 12:07Speaker 1: one to run. She's afraid of the vacuum. Okay, so
- 12:10Speaker 1: I don't know, but you never know, because if someone's
- 12:13Speaker 1: like in the backyard, because we have like a big
- 12:16Speaker 1: backyard that's sort of just.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Shared, you know.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Yeah, And if someone's like back there that she doesn't
- 12:21Speaker 1: know and it seems like they're kind of lurking around,
- 12:23Speaker 1: she'll like bark, But I don't know if she knows
- 12:25Speaker 1: what she's barking at.
- 12:27Speaker 7: Okay, but at least like she's an alarm.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Of some set she does something.
- 12:31Speaker 7: Yeah, that's all shocks, I do know. Would like welcome
- 12:34Speaker 7: the intruder, you know.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Yeah, if actually not to anyone who ever, never model
- 12:39Speaker 1: wants not to anyone who wants to rob my house. Okay,
- 12:42Speaker 1: my dog might bark when she doesn't know you, but
- 12:45Speaker 1: if you just walk in with some confidence, she'll she'll
- 12:49Speaker 1: show you where all the good stuff is. I think yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 1: seven oh one two eight zero one, nine eight seven.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Have you ever been in a situation like this? We're
- 12:57Speaker 1: an animal. It doesn't even have to be a pet.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But an animal has either helped you or saved you.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Let us know this morning at seven oh one two
- 13:04Speaker 1: eight zero one, nine eight seven. I have not really
- 13:07Speaker 1: experienced anything like this with Wanona. Granted, I'm afraid of
- 13:11Speaker 1: like critters I don't love, like raccoons and squirrels. I'm
- 13:16Speaker 1: already small and twitchy. I don't need anything else small
- 13:19Speaker 1: and twitchy around to get rid of them. Wow, she
- 13:23Speaker 1: scares them off, you know, Okay, what least that? And
- 13:25Speaker 1: like I don't like geese. And in my neighborhood there's that.
- 13:28Speaker 1: You still a pond across the my house. Yeah, there's
- 13:31Speaker 1: geese there all the time. And Wanona does a great
- 13:33Speaker 1: job and chasing them away while we're on a walk
- 13:35Speaker 1: for me, which I greatly appreciate.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I say, yeah, when you're going.
- 13:39Speaker 7: On you know like birds, No, I'm terrified of birds.
- 13:42Speaker 7: It's my number one fear. And geese are vicious.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not friendly at all.
- 13:46Speaker 7: Not friendly, Like I don't want to be near you,
- 13:49Speaker 7: but I gotta walk so if I could.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Bring Winona with me, that'd be great.
- 13:53Speaker 7: I will never literally be saving my life because I'll
- 13:56Speaker 7: pass out.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I will never forget this. Speaking of geese,
- 13:59Speaker 1: and I'm not trying to take a side turn, but
- 14:01Speaker 1: I was driving home from Walmart once and there were
- 14:03Speaker 1: these geese and little geese crossing the street. And what
- 14:05Speaker 1: do I do. I stop and I let these geese
- 14:07Speaker 1: cross the street. They jump up over the curb. Off
- 14:10Speaker 1: I go. Adult goose with them hissed at me while
- 14:14Speaker 1: I was in a big, giant vehicle. So that is
- 14:17Speaker 1: why I need my dog with me twenty four seven,
- 14:20Speaker 1: because I do not love geese. But yeah, the video
- 14:23Speaker 1: of if you've seen of this dog, it's pretty incredible.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Like it doesn't like necessarily bite at this bear, but
- 14:28Speaker 1: it kind of lunges at its back leg and the
- 14:31Speaker 1: bear just takes off. So congratulations to this dog being
- 14:34Speaker 1: hailed a hero. And we do have Cali on the
- 14:38Speaker 1: phone CALLI what pet has helped or saved you or
- 14:41Speaker 1: animal in general.
- 14:43Speaker 8: My dog got me through one of the hardest times
- 14:45Speaker 8: of my life. But are you even realizing it? She
- 14:47Speaker 8: gave me a reason to get out of bed and
- 14:49Speaker 8: go outside and you don't stick to a routine when
- 14:52Speaker 8: I didn't feel like doing anything, and sometimes he's having
- 14:55Speaker 8: that little face rady for you. It makes all the difference.
- 14:58Speaker 7: Yeah, that's like a mental health like. Yeah, dogs are
- 15:01Speaker 7: so great for that. That's why there's emotional support animal.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's probably uh as a as a guy who
- 15:07Speaker 1: loves wings and burgers and you know, beer and whatever.
- 15:11Speaker 1: My dog is probably saved me by helping me just
- 15:13Speaker 1: maintain even having to constantly walk her and do some
- 15:18Speaker 1: you know, she'd probably saved my waistline a couple of pounds.
- 15:22Speaker 9: What about you, Jonathan, Well, I'm legally blind, and my
- 15:25Speaker 9: God's a thing I got and he is very well
- 15:28Speaker 9: trained and I couldn't imagine going through a single day
- 15:31Speaker 9: without him.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Yeah, if you rely on a pet that that much,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm sure there's a bond there that's unbreakable.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I love that.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Gosh, dogs are really the goats.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I see what you're trying to do.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Yeah, seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Has a pet ever helped you or saved you, or
- 15:47Speaker 1: just an animal that you came across in the wild,
- 15:50Speaker 1: Let us know this morning here on Big ninety eight
- 15:52Speaker 1: point seven And for this husky who saved this this kid,
- 15:55Speaker 1: can we give him one?
- 15:56Speaker 5: Like in the world of rules in gray areas, one
- 16:03Speaker 5: morning show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Is it legal for a child to wear that much makeup?
- 16:09Speaker 3: Is it legal?
- 16:10Speaker 7: I understand, I understand it's funny as all get out,
- 16:12Speaker 7: but is it even legal?
- 16:14Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Summer is in full swing here in the FM area,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and what that means is that means it's time to
- 16:23Speaker 1: grab a tube, a cooler and pretend you are an
- 16:25Speaker 1: Olympic level river floater? Is it legal for you to
- 16:30Speaker 1: drink a beer while tubing down a river? Fun fact
- 16:33Speaker 1: for you, I once tubed down a river with a
- 16:36Speaker 1: cast on my wrist. I broke my wrists and I
- 16:38Speaker 1: had to wear one of these big, giant like balloon
- 16:41Speaker 1: looking things over my cast. Nothing we'll stop someone from
- 16:44Speaker 1: the Midwest Angie from tubeing down a river. Well, the
- 16:48Speaker 1: good news is the answer is yes. In both North
- 16:52Speaker 1: Dakota and Minnesota, there is no law that says you
- 16:55Speaker 1: you can't crack open a beer while floating.
- 16:58Speaker 3: But and this is a big butt, you.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Still have to stay sober enough to safely operate your vessel,
- 17:08Speaker 1: and yes, depending on what you're floating in, that could
- 17:10Speaker 1: include things like a raft or a kayak, or a
- 17:13Speaker 1: watercraft or a tube. In North Dakota, if you're impaired
- 17:17Speaker 1: or hit zero point one zero BAC, you can face
- 17:21Speaker 1: a boating under the influence charge.
- 17:23Speaker 7: Oh wow.
- 17:24Speaker 1: In Minnesota, the threshold is point oh eight. Either way,
- 17:28Speaker 1: If you're three hours into your float and your tube
- 17:30Speaker 1: is the only thing keeping you from wandering into Canada, you're.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Probably having a bad day, all right.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Also, remember there are many parks and river areas that
- 17:39Speaker 1: do not allow glass containers, so leave those at home.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Stick with cans, enjoy the sunshine, enjoy the river, enjoy
- 17:47Speaker 1: a cold drink. Just don't be the person who turns
- 17:50Speaker 1: a relaxing afternoon into a coastguard audition.
- 17:54Speaker 2: All right, Hey, this.
- 17:55Speaker 7: Is good to know because this is one of my
- 17:56Speaker 7: bucket list things I want to do this summer, specifically
- 18:00Speaker 7: in July as part of birthday month.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Who is taking Angie on a little tube float?
- 18:05Speaker 3: All right? Sign up right now.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It's seven zero, it's seven one two eight zero one
- 18:10Speaker 1: nine eight seven And enjoy your beverages, but enjoy them
- 18:14Speaker 1: responsibly and be able to operate your craft, which is
- 18:17Speaker 1: the tube. I would do a lot, maybe not anything,
- 18:28Speaker 1: but I do a lot for baby G to arrive today.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Today. Today is her due date.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and I learned only five percent of babies are
- 18:39Speaker 1: actually arrive on their due date. So if I could
- 18:44Speaker 1: have baby G arrive today, everyone's kid is a miracle.
- 18:48Speaker 3: I get that.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Mine just a little more special, which we'll see, I mean,
- 18:54Speaker 1: we'll have to see what happens. I got to give
- 18:56Speaker 1: a big shout out, a big thank you to all
- 18:58Speaker 1: of the help that was given on the Big ninety
- 19:00Speaker 1: eight point seven Facebook page, people saying what their favorite
- 19:03Speaker 1: way to naturally induce some labor was. And Corey and
- 19:07Speaker 1: I we tried him yesterday. We were doing some walking.
- 19:10Speaker 1: She had pitted dates, yeah, which I've learned is kind
- 19:13Speaker 1: of like a big raisin.
- 19:15Speaker 7: Yeah, but like creamier dates are really good. Idd I
- 19:19Speaker 7: can't do it anyway.
- 19:20Speaker 1: We did get some of those, where Corey and her
- 19:22Speaker 1: mother went and got some of those yesterday. She ate
- 19:24Speaker 1: some of those with some peanut butter, just like Julia
- 19:26Speaker 1: said in our comments. And a big shout out to
- 19:29Speaker 1: anybody who tried to help out yesterday. That was pretty
- 19:31Speaker 1: fun to read through those, and we were having a
- 19:33Speaker 1: good laugh at that at the Glittenhouse yesterday and we tried.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Some of them and then still no baby.
- 19:39Speaker 3: No, maybe today we will see.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Maybe she'll be here today, Maybe she'll be here this weekend.
- 19:45Speaker 1: If I had my choice, today would be great, you know,
- 19:48Speaker 1: Tomorrow would be great. Saturday would really be like perfect
- 19:51Speaker 1: though elite, Yeah, it would because then I would have
- 19:57Speaker 1: the two days at the hospital to where I don't
- 19:59Speaker 1: have to use like the vacation days.
- 20:00Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I want to use the vacation days at home, not
- 20:04Speaker 1: ya sitting in the hospital.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Oh that would you know?
- 20:07Speaker 3: Saturday would be ideal.
- 20:08Speaker 2: You do always say that things just work out for you,
- 20:11Speaker 2: maybe manifest.
- 20:12Speaker 3: That that's right.
- 20:13Speaker 1: But thank you so much to tons of people who
- 20:15Speaker 1: were sharing their stories of the natural birth Fatbury to
- 20:21Speaker 1: induce yeah labor, and we had a good time with
- 20:23Speaker 1: those yesterday. And for anybody who has texted, I think
- 20:26Speaker 1: it's very sweet and very nice that you care or
- 20:29Speaker 1: are invested even a little bit. No baby just yet,
- 20:32Speaker 1: but who knows, you know, maybe by noon, maybe by five,
- 20:35Speaker 1: maybe by tomorrow, maybe never.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Okay, don't have to go.
- 20:41Speaker 7: Okay, so that means that we are still on baby
- 20:45Speaker 7: Watch twenty twenty six.
- 20:46Speaker 3: That's exactly right.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I did speak to Corey about that middle name situation
- 20:51Speaker 1: you had brought up.
- 20:51Speaker 3: The Oh, that's right.
- 20:52Speaker 7: I want Baby G's middle name to be Angie because
- 20:55Speaker 7: Angie means angel. Yeah, and she's going to be your
- 20:58Speaker 7: angel for a But Angie is also a good middle
- 21:03Speaker 7: name to be like baby g Angie glitten get in here,
- 21:06Speaker 7: which she's being bratty because I am also bratty.
- 21:10Speaker 3: The syllables would match.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, so okay, you might.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Need to maybe I didn't sell it great, Okay, you
- 21:17Speaker 1: might have to go pitch this Corey yourself.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I don't know either. I don't think I'm gonna get
- 21:23Speaker 3: through well.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I just want to once again, thank you so much
- 21:27Speaker 1: to all the people who care or have mentioned anything.
- 21:29Speaker 3: And if you don't care, that's totally cool too.
- 21:31Speaker 1: But it was just a really cool time, a good
- 21:33Speaker 1: moment with Corey yesterday, reading through all these things that
- 21:36Speaker 1: people had suggested and trying some of them, which was
- 21:39Speaker 1: very very fun to do yesterday.
- 21:41Speaker 2: One of them more fun than other, I.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Know which one.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Which one was that eating spicy food they do have.
- 21:50Speaker 1: We do have some buffalo wings at the house, but no,
- 21:53Speaker 1: Baby G. If you tuned in this morning and you
- 21:55Speaker 1: were like, oh my god, did it arrive. No, Baby
- 21:57Speaker 1: G just yet, but I promise you will well no
- 22:00Speaker 1: the second I can share it with you here on
- 22:02Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven. Very recently, there was a
- 22:09Speaker 1: story here on ninety four where a truck, a semi
- 22:12Speaker 1: had had a spill with like two million bees.
- 22:16Speaker 2: That's the worst thing ever.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it sounds like a nightmare. Well, something like this
- 22:22Speaker 1: happened again here in the Midwest, only this time a
- 22:25Speaker 1: semi truck leaked nearly forty thousand pounds of Frank's Red
- 22:33Speaker 1: Hot sauce onto the roads.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Firefighters were called.
- 22:37Speaker 1: At first they thought it was like a hazardous chemical spill,
- 22:40Speaker 1: but it just turned out to be something that tastes
- 22:42Speaker 1: really good on chicken nuggets. Environmental crews they still had
- 22:45Speaker 1: to respond because the sauce is a cidic and it
- 22:48Speaker 1: could cloud into the storm drains, which kind of got
- 22:51Speaker 1: me thinking. It reminded me of a spill I had.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And this was a younger, different Gabe at this point.
- 22:57Speaker 1: But one of my buddies who when I would run
- 22:59Speaker 1: around on Friday and Saturday nights.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 23:01Speaker 1: We'd wake up the next day and he lived. I
- 23:04Speaker 1: mean you could like throw a rock and hit this McDonald's.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It was closed, Oh okay.
- 23:09Speaker 3: So we would.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Stumble our way on in there, get ourselves a sausage
- 23:12Speaker 1: McMuffin and a fountain coke.
- 23:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:16Speaker 1: For whatever reason, we thought that was the hangover cure. O.
- 23:19Speaker 7: Well, the crispy coke from McDonald's, it hits different.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Yeah. I will never forget.
- 23:25Speaker 1: There was a time we were walking there after a
- 23:27Speaker 1: very fun, blurry night and on the way home, I
- 23:32Speaker 1: like misstepped on this curb, literally rolled my ankle over.
- 23:37Speaker 1: No sausage McMuffin, no Coca cola for me, and I
- 23:41Speaker 1: had gone too far to turn around. I said, Nope,
- 23:44Speaker 1: this day's not for me. I'm gonna try to close
- 23:46Speaker 1: my eyes and just redo this line.
- 23:47Speaker 7: Oh when you oh man, Because if you're hungover and
- 23:52Speaker 7: you're really trying to get that hangover meal and then
- 23:55Speaker 7: you don't get that's devastated.
- 23:57Speaker 3: It was horrible.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I still remember it to this day, and it's awards
- 24:00Speaker 1: of fifteen years ago. So it was a nightmare. Seven
- 24:04Speaker 1: oh one, two eight zero one, eight seven. Have you
- 24:08Speaker 1: ever had just a terrible spill and for whatever reason,
- 24:12Speaker 1: it's stuck with you, Adriana, What about you?
- 24:15Speaker 9: I cropped a brand new jar of pasta sauce in
- 24:18Speaker 9: my kitchen and it exploded everywhere in the walls, cad mits,
- 24:22Speaker 9: under the fridge, even on the ceiling. I was still
- 24:25Speaker 9: finding red spots months later.
- 24:27Speaker 7: You know, it's funny you can't get to the ones
- 24:29Speaker 7: on the ceiling unless you really are trying.
- 24:31Speaker 1: To thank you for the call, Adriana. You know it's funny.
- 24:34Speaker 1: That reminds me. I once was taking I don't know
- 24:38Speaker 1: if it was a beer or a doctor pepper or
- 24:40Speaker 1: whatever out of my fridge and I don't know what
- 24:43Speaker 1: I hit, but I like nicked something on it, and
- 24:46Speaker 1: this beridge exploded, and I thought I cleaned everything, you know,
- 24:51Speaker 1: the best I could. Yeah, weeks and weeks and weeks later,
- 24:54Speaker 1: Corey and I are still finding like little brown spots
- 24:57Speaker 1: on the ceiling this part of the wall. It was
- 25:01Speaker 1: quite a moment and quite an embarrassment as I tried
- 25:03Speaker 1: to clean it and hide it from my wife, and
- 25:05Speaker 1: then she goes, what is this? And I had to
- 25:07Speaker 1: tell her, Well, I don't know how to take things
- 25:09Speaker 1: out of the fridge. Yeah, oh we do have Mark
- 25:11Speaker 1: on the phone. Mark, what'd you spell?
- 25:13Speaker 6: I once spilled milk on my kitchen floor and I
- 25:16Speaker 6: didn't realize that it went under the fridge. And the
- 25:19Speaker 6: next day, the smell that came out from under there
- 25:22Speaker 6: was insane. I had to pull the fridge out and
- 25:25Speaker 6: completely mop the entire kitchen.
- 25:27Speaker 3: That just made my stomach feel the way I did
- 25:29Speaker 3: not expect that.
- 25:30Speaker 2: The stomach curdle the way that milk curdled.
- 25:33Speaker 7: That spell Oh my gosh, you know what, speaking of
- 25:36Speaker 7: spilled milk, I remember what, and you know what, whatever
- 25:41Speaker 7: you can do to prevent this from happening to your wife.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I was breast.
- 25:45Speaker 7: Feeding back in twenty seventeen and it was an in
- 25:49Speaker 7: the middle of the night pumping.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I was just pumping. Dad was doing the actual feeding.
- 25:54Speaker 7: And so I finished with the right one, unscrewed the
- 25:58Speaker 7: little bottle and placed it on the counter. I went
- 26:02Speaker 7: to grab the next bottle to screw on and my
- 26:05Speaker 7: elbow hit the first bottle and I spilled six ounces
- 26:11Speaker 7: of liquid gold onto the counter. I lost six ounces
- 26:17Speaker 7: of breast milk.
- 26:18Speaker 2: And if you know that I mean, that's like a tragedy.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Did you start crying.
- 26:26Speaker 7: Hysterically crying, like sobbing. You would have thought someone was
- 26:31Speaker 7: murdering me. But spilling breast milk is such Oh my gosh,
- 26:35Speaker 7: it makes me feel sad.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Now, yeah, that that is actually one of my biggest
- 26:38Speaker 1: fears is that Corey will do all this work and
- 26:41Speaker 1: then for whatever reason I'll fall or drop it or yeah.
- 26:44Speaker 1: So if that does happen, I really hope it's a.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 26:59Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven money.
- 27:03Speaker 1: If you're heading to the fair, make sure to stop
- 27:06Speaker 1: buy the Egg Education Center, where local beekeeper Jonathan Garas
- 27:11Speaker 1: is helping visitors get an up close look at a
- 27:14Speaker 1: live honey beehive. He and other members of the Red
- 27:18Speaker 1: River Valley Beekeepers are teaching fair goers how honey is made,
- 27:23Speaker 1: why bees are so important to our food supply, and
- 27:26Speaker 1: maybe even inspiring a few feature beekeepers.
- 27:30Speaker 10: You put a little mark on the queen and unfortunately
- 27:33Speaker 10: she's going to be hiding from us right now. She
- 27:35Speaker 10: likes to be in the dark. She will come out
- 27:37Speaker 10: periodically to lay eggs. When I got to be sixty five,
- 27:41Speaker 10: I didn't have a hobby. I got to retire and
- 27:43Speaker 10: do something. This doesn't amount a great deal of work.
- 27:46Speaker 10: I'm helping these bees overcome obstacles and then the process
- 27:51Speaker 10: will get some honey beside. They are absolutely smart. They've
- 27:54Speaker 10: figured out a lot of things that we're still working at.
- 27:57Speaker 1: About one About one out of every three bites of
- 28:01Speaker 1: food we eat depend on pollinators like bees. So this
- 28:05Speaker 1: is a fun way to just learn how much these
- 28:07Speaker 1: tiny insects do for all of us. It's educational, it's fascinating,
- 28:11Speaker 1: and it's definitely one of the sweetest stops at the
- 28:14Speaker 1: fair this year.
- 28:15Speaker 7: Am I a queen Bee because I also love hiding
- 28:19Speaker 7: in the dark?
- 28:20Speaker 3: Oh I thought you were gonna do with You're so
- 28:22Speaker 3: sweet joke?
- 28:23Speaker 2: Oh no, I'm not.
- 28:24Speaker 3: That Isn't that the truth?
- 28:28Speaker 9: All right?
- 28:28Speaker 1: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 28:31Speaker 1: find one, you gotta be one. And broken crayons they
- 28:33Speaker 1: still color
