- 0:33Speaker 2: So we've got a bunch of updates here on the
- 0:36Speaker 2: home front about the censorship regime that the Trump administration
- 0:39Speaker 2: is trying to put in place at this point, threatening
- 0:42Speaker 2: broadcasters who dare accurately cover his disastrous or these are
- 0:47Speaker 2: some comments from Air Force one last night from Trump himself.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Let's go ahead and take a listen.
- 0:52Speaker 4: They put out sorting the comakazie votes. The comic Kazie
- 0:56Speaker 4: boots don't exist. Yeah, fake, and you can op see
- 1:00Speaker 4: that when you look at them. It looks because if
- 1:02Speaker 4: they did exist, we'd hit them just like we hit
- 1:05Speaker 4: other boats all over the place, but they don't exist.
- 1:08Speaker 4: In fact, some of the people say, where are the bus? Well,
- 1:11Speaker 4: how come nobody see the bus? You know why? Because
- 1:13Speaker 4: it's AI generated. It's fake and I found it, realized
- 1:17Speaker 4: this before we started. But Iran is known for a
- 1:22Speaker 4: lot of fake news, and they deal with our fake news.
- 1:25Speaker 4: And I actually think it's pretty criminal because our media companies,
- 1:30Speaker 4: who have no credibility whatsoever, are putting out information that
- 1:35Speaker 4: they know is false, and it's a very dangerous thing
- 1:39Speaker 4: for the country. I think it's I think they could
- 1:41Speaker 4: be a serious jeopardy.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So I know that's hard to hear, but he says
- 1:45Speaker 2: there that the coverage is pretty criminal of these specific things,
- 1:50Speaker 2: and let's go and put his true social up there.
- 1:52Speaker 2: This is from this is d two guys, just to
- 1:56Speaker 2: emphasize how, you know, how hard he's going on this
- 2:00Speaker 2: against journalists in the way that they for the war.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Here he is threatening to charge media outlets with treason
- 2:07Speaker 2: if they report things in a way that he does
- 2:09Speaker 2: not personally like. So he says Iran has long been
- 2:12Speaker 2: known as a master of media manipulation in public relations.
- 2:15Speaker 2: They're militarily ineffective and weak, but are really good at
- 2:18Speaker 2: feeding the very appreciative fake news media false information. Now
- 2:23Speaker 2: AI has become another disinformation weapon that Iran uses quite well,
- 2:26Speaker 2: considering they're and being annihilated by the day. They showed
- 2:29Speaker 2: phony Kamakazi boats. This is what he was talking about
- 2:32Speaker 2: in that clip shooting at various ships at sea, which
- 2:34Speaker 2: looks wonderful, powerful and vicious. But these votes don't exist.
- 2:37Speaker 2: It's all false information. Show how tough they're already defeated.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Military is the five US refueling planes that were supposedly
- 2:44Speaker 2: struck down and badly damage, according to Wall Street Journal's
- 2:47Speaker 2: fake reporting and others are all in service, with exception
- 2:50Speaker 2: of one which will soon be flying. The skies, buildings
- 2:53Speaker 2: and ships that are shown to be on fire are not.
- 2:55Speaker 2: It's fake news generated by AI. For instance, Iran working
- 2:59Speaker 2: close coordination with the fake news media, shows our great
- 3:02Speaker 2: USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, one of the largest and
- 3:04Speaker 2: most prestigious ships in the world, burning uncontrollably in the ocean.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Not only was it not burning, it was not even
- 3:10Speaker 2: shot at. Iran knows better than to do that. Isn't
- 3:13Speaker 2: that the one sacer Di supposedly there was a laundry
- 3:15Speaker 2: fire that was the alleged problem there. The story was
- 3:18Speaker 2: knowingly fake, and in a certain way you can say
- 3:20Speaker 2: that those media outlets that generated it should be brought
- 3:24Speaker 2: up on charges for treason for the dissemination of false information.
- 3:28Speaker 2: The fact is Iran is being decimated. The only battles
- 3:30Speaker 2: they win are those that they create through AI and
- 3:33Speaker 2: are distributed by corrupt media outlets. The radical left wing
- 3:36Speaker 2: press knows this full well, but continues to go forward
- 3:38Speaker 2: with false stories and lies. That's why their approval rating
- 3:40Speaker 2: is so low. I can win a presidential election in
- 3:43Speaker 2: a landslide getting only five percent positive press. They have
- 3:46Speaker 2: no credibility. I'm so thrilled to see Brendan Carr, the
- 3:49Speaker 2: chair of the Federal Communications Commission, looking at the licenses
- 3:53Speaker 2: of some of these corrupt and highly unpatriotic news and
- 3:57Speaker 2: scare quotes organizations. They get billions of dollars of free
- 4:01Speaker 2: American airways and use it to perpetuate lies booked the
- 4:04Speaker 2: news and almost all of their shows, including late night morons,
- 4:06Speaker 2: who get gigantic salaries for horrible ratings and never get
- 4:09Speaker 2: As I used to say in the apprentice fired. Thank
- 4:11Speaker 2: you for your attention to this matter. So not only
- 4:14Speaker 2: does he say maybe we should file charges of treason
- 4:18Speaker 2: against companies media companies that report things that we don't like,
- 4:23Speaker 2: but number two, I'm glad to see that Brendan Carr,
- 4:26Speaker 2: chair of the FCC, is already moving in the direction
- 4:29Speaker 2: of threatening media outlets and threatening their broadcast licenses for
- 4:33Speaker 2: quote unquote unpatriotic news. Yes, just so disturbing and orwellian.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Well you can already see. Let's put Brendan Carrs tweet
- 4:41Speaker 3: up there, guys, this is d one. He's the FCC chairman.
- 4:45Speaker 3: He says, broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distortions
- 4:48Speaker 3: also known as fake news, have a chance now to
- 4:51Speaker 3: correct course before their license renewals come up. The law
- 4:54Speaker 3: is clear broadcasters must operate in the public interest. They
- 4:57Speaker 3: will lose their license if they do not, frankly changing
- 5:00Speaker 3: courses in their own business interest.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Blah blah blah.
- 5:02Speaker 3: The point is is that this would affect the direct
- 5:04Speaker 3: network's NBC or NBC ABC, et cetera that actually still
- 5:08Speaker 3: require a broadcast license from the FCC. Yours truly, you know,
- 5:12Speaker 3: we're all here on the Internet and or cable news,
- 5:15Speaker 3: who wouldn't be as effected.
- 5:16Speaker 1: But if you compare the two.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Things together, CBS News and obviously the Trump administrative support
- 5:21Speaker 3: for CBS News, you can see how they're trying to
- 5:23Speaker 3: control the narrative. What Trump said there is empirically bullshit.
- 5:27Speaker 3: For example, do you remember that crowd that we showed
- 5:30Speaker 3: Crystal for the morning of the iatola for his funeral.
- 5:33Speaker 1: He is saying that's Ai generated.
- 5:35Speaker 3: It literally came from a photographer working for the New
- 5:38Speaker 3: York Times. It's not Ai generated. And now there's a
- 5:41Speaker 3: couple things that are very scary about that. Do you
- 5:43Speaker 3: want to know who claimed that it was AI generated?
- 5:45Speaker 1: The Israel?
- 5:47Speaker 4: Yea.
- 5:47Speaker 1: So how did Israel.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Lobby BS talking points get into the brain and the
- 5:52Speaker 3: mouth of the President of the United States.
- 5:54Speaker 1: That's a very interesting question.
- 5:55Speaker 3: So much so that he wants to file trees in
- 5:57Speaker 3: charges against the people who publish and or talk about
- 6:00Speaker 3: such videos. Then you have combined the FCC and this
- 6:02Speaker 3: so called patriotic news. I saw this first during this
- 6:08Speaker 3: press conference with Pete Hegsath.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We have D three.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Let's go and play this is from Friday where he's
- 6:14Speaker 3: lambasting the press for accurately giving a report of what's
- 6:18Speaker 3: going on with Iran.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Or more fake news from CNN reports that the Trump
- 6:24Speaker 5: administration underestimated the Iran War's impact on the Strait of
- 6:27Speaker 5: Horror moves patently ridiculous. Of course, for decades, Iran has
- 6:33Speaker 5: threatened shipping in the street of horror moves. This is
- 6:36Speaker 5: always what they do. Hold the straight hostage. CNN doesn't
- 6:41Speaker 5: think we thought of that. It's a fundamentally unserious report.
- 6:46Speaker 5: The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better.
- 6:50Speaker 3: The sooner David Ellison takes out of that network, the better.
- 6:53Speaker 3: What do you think that exactly shows you in terms
- 6:55Speaker 3: of their support for David Ellison, who was Lindsey Graham's
- 6:59Speaker 3: guest for the State of the Union. Do you remember
- 7:01Speaker 3: that one that David literally Lindsey Graham's guest for the
- 7:04Speaker 3: State of the Union, is going to be owning CNN.
- 7:06Speaker 3: So they're going to stem similar By the way, who's
- 7:08Speaker 3: going to be affected by a broadcast license because of
- 7:10Speaker 3: total oligarcher ownership of media and so called patriotic press.
- 7:14Speaker 3: And in the press conference, Pete Hegg sat out there
- 7:17Speaker 3: is talking about how you shouldn't say things like For example,
- 7:20Speaker 3: he took issue with the headline where it was like
- 7:23Speaker 3: Iran war widens.
- 7:24Speaker 1: How could you be take issue with that?
- 7:27Speaker 3: He said, you should say Iran is defeated or Iran
- 7:30Speaker 3: is not doing as well or something like that. I
- 7:33Speaker 3: was like, Iran war widens is a statement of literal
- 7:36Speaker 3: empirical fact. If you hit ten countries in a single day,
- 7:40Speaker 3: that's widening.
- 7:41Speaker 1: That's what it's called. And I mean, look, this is nuts.
- 7:45Speaker 3: And when we I mean compare it with war about
- 7:47Speaker 3: to talk about with Tucker, it's this is the most
- 7:51Speaker 3: dangerous thing. It is also entirely fitting with every time
- 7:56Speaker 3: that this nation goes to war, Americans who live under
- 7:59Speaker 3: it become less free. The censorship that happens, either self
- 8:03Speaker 3: censorship or state pressure that happened under Iraq shaped the
- 8:07Speaker 3: entire environment for pushing the country into war under false
- 8:10Speaker 3: pretenses under Vietnam. Very similarly, the crazy amounts of censorship
- 8:14Speaker 3: state pressure that was here at home, it empowered the state,
- 8:17Speaker 3: remember the Patriot Act. Of course, also after nine to eleven,
- 8:20Speaker 3: during World War Two, we had literal government censorship where
- 8:23Speaker 3: they're deciding what or whatnot you know, different reporters can
- 8:25Speaker 3: report out from the battlefield. And then the origins of
- 8:28Speaker 3: wartime censorship of a lot of the power of the
- 8:31Speaker 3: state is the American Civil War and the First World War,
- 8:34Speaker 3: where they had the exact same situation play out here
- 8:36Speaker 3: at home state power locking people up for reporting things badly,
- 8:40Speaker 3: using an expansion of surveillance and censorship, all under the
- 8:44Speaker 3: guise of patriotism and supporting the war effort. This is
- 8:48Speaker 3: why it is so dangerous actually for us here at
- 8:51Speaker 3: the home front. And in those cases, many of those
- 8:54Speaker 3: wars were much more popular crystal than this one is today.
- 8:57Speaker 3: If you launch a war with sixty percent disapproved, I mean,
- 9:00Speaker 3: just imagine the way that you're gonna have to censor
- 9:02Speaker 3: your way out.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Of that one.
- 9:03Speaker 3: So you actually could see an even bigger crackdown that
- 9:06Speaker 3: comes from At that time, at least people were buying
- 9:08Speaker 3: the bs this time.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Not so sure not this time.
- 9:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:11Speaker 2: And Trump is you know, I mean, he's deeply authoritarian
- 9:14Speaker 2: to begin with, and even before launching this incredibly unpopular
- 9:17Speaker 2: illegal war of choice, was aggressively going after the media.
- 9:22Speaker 2: And so, I mean, I think there's a few things
- 9:23Speaker 2: to note here. First of all, there is. This is
- 9:27Speaker 2: also a sign of weakness because they're clearly crashing out.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I mean, Trump himself is like lashing out at reporters
- 9:33Speaker 2: who ask questions. He doesn't like issuing these long, true
- 9:36Speaker 2: social posts. He put another one out defending the good
- 9:39Speaker 2: honor of Mark Levin. Blah blah blah. You know, Megan
- 9:42Speaker 2: Kelly said he had a micro penis. And now Trump's
- 9:44Speaker 2: got to come and ride to the rescue and make
- 9:45Speaker 2: sure everybody knows that Mark Levin is a great American patriot,
- 9:49Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera. In any case, he's clearly crashing out,
- 9:53Speaker 2: and heg Seth is not saying this stuff on his own.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Brendan Carr is not saying this stuff on his own.
- 9:58Speaker 2: He was at Mara Lago right before he issues this statement, etc.
- 10:02Speaker 2: This is all coming directly from Trump, because if there's
- 10:05Speaker 2: one thing he knows, it is TV news coverage. And
- 10:07Speaker 2: he is watching this, and he knows, even in spite
- 10:10Speaker 2: of the fact that so much of the coverage is
- 10:12Speaker 2: pro war propaganda to an absurd degree, he is watching
- 10:16Speaker 2: this and going, this doesn't look good, this doesn't look good.
- 10:20Speaker 2: What can I do? And so he reaches for all
- 10:24Speaker 2: of his tools of bullying and threats and coercion. You know,
- 10:28Speaker 2: even prior to this, we had all the lawsuits against
- 10:31Speaker 2: media organizations to get them to bend to his will.
- 10:34Speaker 2: You have major media organizations being sold off to the
- 10:37Speaker 2: Ellisons at as Pete Hexeth reminds here, you know, you said, okay,
- 10:40Speaker 2: the threats against the primetime broadcasters like those don't apply
- 10:46Speaker 2: to cable news, they don't apply to where we are
- 10:48Speaker 2: on YouTube, et cetera. But hey, TikTok was sold off
- 10:51Speaker 2: to the Ellisons, so they have other means of, you know,
- 10:55Speaker 2: trying to coerce and trying to stifle dissent, and TikTok
- 10:59Speaker 2: thing was one h hundred percent over. They didn't like
- 11:01Speaker 2: the way that the Gaza war was being accurately portrayed,
- 11:04Speaker 2: the Gaza genocide was being accurately portrayed there. They didn't
- 11:07Speaker 2: like that. So you got a crony, a pro Zionist,
- 11:09Speaker 2: pro Trump crony, to go in and strike that deal.
- 11:13Speaker 2: You know, all these media companies, they are giant conglomerates.
- 11:16Speaker 2: They don't care about the news, they don't care about
- 11:18Speaker 2: the truth. What they care about is their bottom line.
- 11:21Speaker 2: So if you know, YouTube has a deal in front
- 11:24Speaker 2: of them. If any of these companies has a deal
- 11:26Speaker 2: in front of them they wanted to go through, they're
- 11:28Speaker 2: going to be listening to the closely to these words
- 11:30Speaker 2: about you know, unpatriotic content and how you've got to
- 11:33Speaker 2: be towing the go USA line, and some of that
- 11:36Speaker 2: stuff has real power. You also have the other effect
- 11:41Speaker 2: here is to try to gin up a lot of
- 11:44Speaker 2: public fervor and outrage at media outlets that cover things accurately.
- 11:48Speaker 2: So if we could put up D six ABC News,
- 11:52Speaker 2: they had a headline that I think again is just
- 11:56Speaker 2: accurate reflection of what is going on. Even as a
- 11:59Speaker 2: run been pummeled by Israelian American air strikes, with its
- 12:03Speaker 2: military capabilities greatly diminished, which is actually the Trump administration's framing,
- 12:08Speaker 2: Tehran continues to demonstrate resolve both in adapting and expanding
- 12:11Speaker 2: its military tactics. Observers told ABC News that is just reality.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I mean, we you know, you guys saw that the
- 12:18Speaker 2: drone strike video. You saw the missiles that were landing
- 12:22Speaker 2: in Tel Aviv. You see the you know, the strait
- 12:24Speaker 2: of Hormos continue to be held, you see the oil refineries,
- 12:27Speaker 2: you know, struck in the GCC countries like that is
- 12:30Speaker 2: just accurate. And yet if you go and look at
- 12:33Speaker 2: the comments below this post, you have all these people
- 12:36Speaker 2: and can put some of these up on the screen
- 12:37Speaker 2: who are furious, how dare you this is Iranian propaganda?
- 12:42Speaker 2: You know, observers told ABC News the observers being their
- 12:45Speaker 2: news RT and Jackson Hinkele Iron is defending their own country.
- 12:48Speaker 2: The US is not well, that one is sort of accurate.
- 12:50Speaker 2: ABC News wants us to know that our enemies are
- 12:53Speaker 2: very strong and brave. So tons of outrage here in
- 12:57Speaker 2: the comments of people who want to be lied to.
- 13:01Speaker 2: That is what's going on here, and sadly, and you know,
- 13:03Speaker 2: we saw this in the Iraq War. There was a
- 13:05Speaker 2: large contingent of Americans who were desperate to be lied
- 13:09Speaker 2: to about that war as well. And we're furious at
- 13:12Speaker 2: anyone who tried to puncture that bubble. You know. The
- 13:16Speaker 2: other piece sober that I think is really important to
- 13:18Speaker 2: talk about here is Trump is right that AI has
- 13:23Speaker 2: destabilized reality. And you do see that. I mean, when
- 13:26Speaker 2: we're trying to figure out what is real, what's true,
- 13:29Speaker 2: what's false, et cetera, it is very difficult, very very difficult,
- 13:33Speaker 2: and we are I think, extremely conservative about the images
- 13:37Speaker 2: that we bring you. We only put up things that
- 13:39Speaker 2: are absolutely verified. You know, even then it continues to
- 13:43Speaker 2: be dicey, et cetera. But there's no doubt that it
- 13:45Speaker 2: has become much more difficult to separate truth from fiction
- 13:48Speaker 2: because of the quality of these AI deep fakes. Now
- 13:51Speaker 2: you know, the BB is BB alive or dead question
- 13:55Speaker 2: is a good good example of that. And so not
- 13:58Speaker 2: only do you have things that are fake that are
- 14:01Speaker 2: being disseminated that are you don't have the appearance of truth,
- 14:05Speaker 2: but also what Trump is doing is he's taking things
- 14:08Speaker 2: that actually did happen and trying to undermine your confidence
- 14:12Speaker 2: in them by saying no, no, no, that's AI. So,
- 14:15Speaker 2: like you said, the marches in protests in favor of
- 14:18Speaker 2: the government in Iran, which is the thing that really
- 14:20Speaker 2: has happened, not just once but multiple times, he wants
- 14:23Speaker 2: to say no, no, no, that's AI. And we saw
- 14:25Speaker 2: this playbook in Gaza as well, where they would say,
- 14:27Speaker 2: you know, oh, these horrific images that you're seeing, these
- 14:30Speaker 2: are AI, These are fake, this is Pollywood. Trump is
- 14:34Speaker 2: using that same playbook, and because AI has destabilized reality, unchecked.
- 14:39Speaker 2: AI has destabilized reality and there are no limits put
- 14:43Speaker 2: on this. There's no ability to tell true from truth
- 14:45Speaker 2: from fiction. It gives him an angle to be able
- 14:49Speaker 2: to push these bullshit Israeli talking points and to tell
- 14:53Speaker 2: you the truth. I think he believes it. I think
- 14:55Speaker 2: he believes that those protests were fake. I think he's
- 14:58Speaker 2: buying whatever his you know, the Israelian are telling him
- 15:00Speaker 2: at this point.
- 15:01Speaker 1: That is so crazy.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah, And I think I think we should all be extremely,
- 15:07Speaker 3: extremely on guard because this can move fast. It can
- 15:11Speaker 3: move quick the power of the state. We're about to
- 15:14Speaker 3: talk about this with Tucker Carlson, and this what they
- 15:18Speaker 3: will do usually, this is actually what Yeah, let's just
- 15:20Speaker 3: move over to Tucker. We just talked a lot about
- 15:25Speaker 3: f the FCC, about government censorship. Usually what happens in
- 15:29Speaker 3: these cases is they pick a figurehead, they go after
- 15:32Speaker 3: him or her, try and make an example to send
- 15:34Speaker 3: a chilling message across all of media. Now, one of
- 15:37Speaker 3: the most prominent anti Iran war voices on the right,
- 15:39Speaker 3: Tucker Carlson, is saying that the CIA has been spying
- 15:43Speaker 3: on him his communications and maybe preferred may be preparing
- 15:47Speaker 3: a criminal referral as a result of some discussions that
- 15:50Speaker 3: he's had with the Iranian regime.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 15:53Speaker 6: So the other day I found out that the CIA
- 15:55Speaker 6: is preparing some kind of criminal referral against me, a
- 15:58Speaker 6: crime report the Department of Justice, on the basis of
- 16:03Speaker 6: a supposed crime I committed. What's that crime? Well, talking
- 16:06Speaker 6: to people in Iran before the war. They read my texts.
- 16:12Speaker 6: So the crime under consideration, apparently would be the Foreign
- 16:16Speaker 6: Agent Act or something like that, acting as an agent
- 16:19Speaker 6: of a foreign power. And I don't expect this to
- 16:22Speaker 6: go anywhere. I'm not too worried about an actual criminal
- 16:25Speaker 6: case against me for a bunch of reasons. One, I'm
- 16:28Speaker 6: not an agent of a foreign power. Unlike a lot
- 16:30Speaker 6: of people commenting on US politics and global affairs, I
- 16:34Speaker 6: have only one loyalty, and that's the United States and
- 16:36Speaker 6: have never acted against it. It's interests for the only
- 16:39Speaker 6: interests I care about, because I'm from here and I
- 16:41Speaker 6: have a lot of kids, so that's not a concern.
- 16:46Speaker 6: I've also never taken money from anybody. Don't need it,
- 16:49Speaker 6: don't want it, and that's provable. And moreover, it's my
- 16:53Speaker 6: job to talk to everybody all the time, and try
- 16:55Speaker 6: and figure out what's happening around the world. That's literally
- 16:57Speaker 6: what I do for a living. I'm not going to
- 17:00Speaker 6: stop doing that, nor should I. I don't think. I'm
- 17:03Speaker 6: also an American, I can talk to anybody. I have
- 17:06Speaker 6: no secrets to divulge, so legally, I think the case
- 17:09Speaker 6: is ludicrous and I doubt it will even become a case.
- 17:12Speaker 6: I'm bringing this up for a couple of reasons, though,
- 17:16Speaker 6: and they're pretty obvious. One is that countries tend to
- 17:20Speaker 6: become more authoritarian in wartime. It's just the nature of war.
- 17:24Speaker 6: People are dying, the stakes are high, people's emotions have
- 17:28Speaker 6: risen to a very high point, to a crescendo, and
- 17:32Speaker 6: so there's much less tolerance for any kind of descent
- 17:38Speaker 6: in the homeland. The irony, of course, is the United
- 17:40Speaker 6: States fights wars on behalf of freedom, but there's always
- 17:42Speaker 6: less of it here in our country during war. So
- 17:46Speaker 6: that's a widely recognized phenomenon, and it's likely to happen
- 17:49Speaker 6: now too. Another point to make that is worth knowing
- 17:52Speaker 6: is that the US I see the Intelligence Agency spy
- 17:56Speaker 6: on Americans. Now you probably knew that, and it's been
- 17:59Speaker 6: revealed a lot, including by Julina Soannge and Ed Snowden.
- 18:04Speaker 6: The humor threatened with death for revealing it, but everyone knows.
- 18:08Speaker 6: But it's probably a little more widespread than most people understand,
- 18:14Speaker 6: and it's likely that things like that will begin to
- 18:17Speaker 6: happen at greater scale now, So you should just know
- 18:20Speaker 6: that going forward. Thanks.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I think that that is incredibly obviously not only newsworthy,
- 18:26Speaker 3: but indicative, combined with the FCC warning that we just
- 18:29Speaker 3: gave to everybody about what this enhanced sort of wartime
- 18:33Speaker 3: censorship is going to look like Crystal So for example,
- 18:36Speaker 3: and let's actually zoom out, because what are the zion
- 18:38Speaker 3: Is claiming. They're saying, oh, well, he committed treason by
- 18:41Speaker 3: talking to the Iranians. Well, if that's treason, then you're
- 18:45Speaker 3: going to have to lock up. Basically every reporter who's
- 18:48Speaker 3: ever spoken to the Iranians, including CBS News which had
- 18:51Speaker 3: the Iranian foreign minister, NBC News, which just had the
- 18:54Speaker 3: Iranian foreign minister part of a natural reportage, is actually
- 18:59Speaker 3: reaching out to people who, yes, many times, are America's
- 19:03Speaker 3: enemies or people who are you are at WARWI, Why
- 19:05Speaker 3: do we do it? And why is it actually incumbent
- 19:07Speaker 3: upon us to do so. The reason why is to
- 19:10Speaker 3: give the American people a full picture of what we're
- 19:13Speaker 3: actually doing. Otherwise you only have to rely on Pete
- 19:17Speaker 3: Hegseeth and General Cain and Donald Trump to tell us
- 19:21Speaker 3: what's actually happening. And as you can all see in
- 19:24Speaker 3: front of you in the information age, the biggest threat
- 19:28Speaker 3: to their narrative is the truth and an alternate perspectives,
- 19:33Speaker 3: and especially in an already unpopular war. So no, per Tucker,
- 19:37Speaker 3: he may not be getting criminally charged. But the fact is,
- 19:40Speaker 3: by the way, this has not been denied by the CIA,
- 19:41Speaker 3: The administration has not denied any of this. They've had
- 19:44Speaker 3: more than twenty four hours now at this point.
- 19:46Speaker 1: To do so.
- 19:46Speaker 3: If it was BS, I think they would say so.
- 19:48Speaker 3: And I think this is really dangerous and it also highlights,
- 19:51Speaker 3: especially if you're people like us, we're reaching out to
- 19:53Speaker 3: foreign officials all the time. Iran, if you're listening, I'll
- 19:56Speaker 3: talk to you anytime. But it does demonstrate that we
- 20:00Speaker 3: are under not only surveillance from our own government, but
- 20:03Speaker 3: possible criminal and legal liability in this case, specifically for
- 20:08Speaker 3: just trying to inform the American people. They try to
- 20:10Speaker 3: do this under WikiLeaks. Remember this is a bipartisan thing
- 20:13Speaker 3: that we've seen in the past. This is why it's
- 20:15Speaker 3: so dangerous to get into these types of wars in
- 20:16Speaker 3: the first place.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and this is why, you know, we've always been
- 20:20Speaker 2: against these conversations about like, oh, you platform this person
- 20:24Speaker 2: or you platform that person, because this is where it
- 20:26Speaker 2: ends up, like, oh, how dare you speak to these
- 20:30Speaker 2: you know, adversarial countries. And it's meant to make such
- 20:34Speaker 2: reporting scandalous and in the Trump administration's case, make it
- 20:38Speaker 2: outright apparently illegal. Let's put you two up on the screen,
- 20:43Speaker 2: because there was some elaborate you know, trying to concoct
- 20:46Speaker 2: after the fact, for d chess that Trump was engaged
- 20:49Speaker 2: in here allegedly. So this person says, and this got
- 20:53Speaker 2: by the way, tons of retweets and views and everyone
- 20:56Speaker 2: like really bought into this. This person says, this photo
- 20:59Speaker 2: of Tuck in the Oval office with Trump is hilarious.
- 21:02Speaker 2: In hindsight, Trump knew Tucker was talking to Iran, so
- 21:04Speaker 2: he invites him the Oval office before the strike, knowing
- 21:07Speaker 2: Tucker will run straight back and relay it. Aroan sees
- 21:10Speaker 2: this photo, thinks Tucker has Trump's ear, thinks Trump is bluffing. Meanwhile,
- 21:14Speaker 2: Trump's sitting there smiling because he wanted them to believe it.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Tucker's ego sells the deception, Camani buys it, and just
- 21:21Speaker 2: like that, Tucker unknowingly helps take out the supreme leader
- 21:25Speaker 2: and now America's biggest trader, meaning Tucker Carlson maybe heading
- 21:30Speaker 2: to prison. Perfectly played. Now, let me just ask you
- 21:34Speaker 2: a question. Has anything about this war made you think
- 21:40Speaker 2: that Trump is playing some sort of eight D chess
- 21:44Speaker 2: and elaborately planning out these intricate, brilliant moves, etc. No,
- 21:50Speaker 2: it has maybe been the dumbest war in all of
- 21:54Speaker 2: human history. This man launched a war in the Middle
- 21:57Speaker 2: East and did not think through what it would do.
- 22:00Speaker 2: You for oil prices or the strait of horn mows.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It is literally the most basic thing of all time.
- 22:05Speaker 2: And yet do you think this was all some elaborate,
- 22:08Speaker 2: brilliant chess master style plot. I mean, it's just utterly
- 22:12Speaker 2: absurd on its face.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Yeah, this is zionis fan fiction. Let's call it for
- 22:15Speaker 1: what it is.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Also, Reporter Mark Caputo over at Axios he has a view,
- 22:19Speaker 3: by the way, even he is like, guys, this is
- 22:21Speaker 3: total bullshit. He's like, I spoke to people in the
- 22:23Speaker 3: White House. He's like, none of this happened. They had
- 22:25Speaker 3: a meeting. Tucker said, please don't strike Iran, and the
- 22:28Speaker 3: President explained various different things as to why he was
- 22:32Speaker 3: either you know, thinking he was weighing in that direction,
- 22:34Speaker 3: and then the meeting ended.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That's how it went.
- 22:36Speaker 3: There was no some grand plan that they want to
- 22:39Speaker 3: describe here. I mean, what they really want is to
- 22:42Speaker 3: see their enemies in prison.
- 22:43Speaker 1: That's it.
- 22:44Speaker 3: They want to see their political enemies. They want the
- 22:46Speaker 3: state weaponized against them. They're jinting up these same like
- 22:50Speaker 3: jingoistic terms in which we're not supposed to be able
- 22:53Speaker 3: to talk or consider the viewpoint of the people we
- 22:55Speaker 3: are literally in a war with. And that may help
- 22:59Speaker 3: us onunderstand exactly what we're doing, what the terms are,
- 23:02Speaker 3: and what some of the things being laid out by
- 23:04Speaker 3: the Pentagon, whether they're true or not. That's vitally important
- 23:08Speaker 3: in a time of war. When you lose it, you
- 23:11Speaker 3: lose the ability to process information itself. And so I
- 23:14Speaker 3: think the fact that CIA is engaging in this type
- 23:16Speaker 3: of activity is already a deep threat, you know, to
- 23:19Speaker 3: the United States. By the way, they're not even supposed
- 23:21Speaker 3: to be spying on US citizens, not that anybody even
- 23:23Speaker 3: cares at this point, right in the entire til.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Well, and if he isn't, and this is where so
- 23:27Speaker 2: many of the Patriot Act abuses just became come so clear,
- 23:31Speaker 2: because part of what that enabled them to do is, oh,
- 23:33Speaker 2: if you're talking to someone we deem an enemy or
- 23:36Speaker 2: a terrorist, then we're allowed to sweep up your communications.
- 23:39Speaker 2: And so that could be what's going on here. I mean,
- 23:41Speaker 2: I will say, like in the same Mark Computer report,
- 23:44Speaker 2: he says, this isn't happening in terms of spying. He says,
- 23:47Speaker 2: this isn't happening in terms of the criminal charges. I
- 23:49Speaker 2: don't know. So those are the denials coming from the government.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I don't know what's really going on here, but you
- 23:55Speaker 2: know the fact of the possibility of this, and I
- 23:58Speaker 2: don't really see a self interested reason why Tucker would
- 24:03Speaker 2: lie about this. If anything, it puts him in a
- 24:05Speaker 2: weird spot because, frankly, listen, when I look at this,
- 24:08Speaker 2: and when I look at Tucker's overall commentary on the
- 24:11Speaker 2: Iran war, to which he is very opposed, there's one
- 24:15Speaker 2: word that very rarely comes out of his mouth and
- 24:17Speaker 2: that is Trump, and it's like he wants to put
- 24:21Speaker 2: this all on It's all Israe's Israel drivers ins Israel's war,
- 24:25Speaker 2: and it's like, there is no doubt that Israel had
- 24:29Speaker 2: an interest in the sward, that they were pushing for this,
- 24:31Speaker 2: et cetera. We talk about it ad nauseum on this show.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Here is also no doubt that Donald Trump also wanted
- 24:38Speaker 2: this war. The reasons are a bit mysterious, right, I
- 24:41Speaker 2: think we've the best we can come up with. Is
- 24:43Speaker 2: high on his own supply after Venezuela thought the Twelve
- 24:46Speaker 2: Day War went great. You know, loves the spectacle of
- 24:49Speaker 2: all the military grandeur, loves to see things blow up
- 24:53Speaker 2: on TV and have that kind of power in his hands.
- 24:55Speaker 2: As thinking about his legacy, et cetera. Perhaps there's an
- 24:58Speaker 2: Epstein Files connection as well. I certainly don't rule that out.
- 25:02Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, the President of
- 25:04Speaker 2: the United States surrounded himself with a bunch of sycophants
- 25:07Speaker 2: who were too afraid to tell him the truth, got
- 25:10Speaker 2: himself bought in, hopped up on Lindsey Graham and Israeli propaganda,
- 25:14Speaker 2: and decided to launch this war. And it is in
- 25:17Speaker 2: his hands. It is his fault. And I think it
- 25:20Speaker 2: is frankly pathetic at this point that Tucker can't say that. Clearly,
- 25:25Speaker 2: I was sympathetic to the argument leading up to this
- 25:29Speaker 2: that always trying to maintain access and he wants to
- 25:31Speaker 2: be able to have influence on the inside. Okay, you
- 25:33Speaker 2: tried and you failed. That's where we are now. So
- 25:36Speaker 2: why are we still pursuing the strategy? And so when
- 25:39Speaker 2: you put on a video in Tucker's case, which again
- 25:41Speaker 2: why I don't think this is self interested because it
- 25:42Speaker 2: makes him look kind of bad. You put out this
- 25:45Speaker 2: video claiming that Trump's CIA is spying on you, and
- 25:48Speaker 2: Trump's DOJ is planning on filing criminal charges against you,
- 25:53Speaker 2: and you can't say anything about the President of the
- 25:55Speaker 2: United States who is leading this institutions. I mean, I
- 25:58Speaker 2: just think it's like, come on, man, why are you
- 26:00Speaker 2: going to actually be real about the man that you
- 26:04Speaker 2: supported three times to be in the Oval office. You
- 26:06Speaker 2: were sitting there next to him at the RNC, you
- 26:09Speaker 2: push for him. When are you going to have a
- 26:10Speaker 2: moment say, you know what, I was wrong about this guy.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I fucked up, Like there is you know, I have
- 26:15Speaker 2: some small culpability for pushing this guy into the Oval
- 26:18Speaker 2: office multiple times? When is that going to come? Because
- 26:22Speaker 2: you know, to me, it seems like he's hiding the ball,
- 26:25Speaker 2: trying to avoid culpability for this president and by extensions,
- 26:29Speaker 2: for himself.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I think that they are playing a very difficult game.
- 26:33Speaker 3: They look at it exactly like you said, as trying
- 26:35Speaker 3: to maintain some sort of influence with the White House
- 26:39Speaker 3: and trying to push things in that direction. But and
- 26:42Speaker 3: here's here's actually what I've learned. So do we have
- 26:45Speaker 3: the Mark Levin thing? Can we put that up there
- 26:47Speaker 3: on the screen. So Donald Trump issues this long screed
- 26:50Speaker 3: about Mark Levin about how he's the greatest, about how
- 26:53Speaker 3: he's real maga, about how Megan Kelly is bad. You're
- 26:56Speaker 3: basically the subtacks for calling him micro penis.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Mark.
- 27:00Speaker 3: What do you learn from that is that Mark Levin
- 27:02Speaker 3: had a view. Mark Levin hated Donald Trump. He literally
- 27:06Speaker 3: said he would never vote for him in twenty sixteen.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I believe he supported Ron DeSantis in the twenty twenty
- 27:10Speaker 3: four primary. When Donald Trump does things that Mark Levin likes,
- 27:14Speaker 3: he goshes and gives him praise. When he does things
- 27:19Speaker 3: that he doesn't like, he actually puts out tweets and
- 27:22Speaker 3: campaigns against it and calls and all that. What you
- 27:25Speaker 3: learn from that is that people who are actually critical,
- 27:28Speaker 3: let's say, if they're part of the coalition or not,
- 27:30Speaker 3: when they have a view and they force that view
- 27:33Speaker 3: very very very forcefully, they win the anti war right,
- 27:37Speaker 3: let's say, specifically in the lead up to Midnight Hammer
- 27:39Speaker 3: and also here with the strikes with Iran. Everything has
- 27:42Speaker 3: to be couched in, Oh, mister President, you're so great,
- 27:45Speaker 3: you're my friend, etc.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Right, that's what they do.
- 27:48Speaker 3: And then when they do something that you don't like,
- 27:50Speaker 3: then if you're not willing to hit them in the
- 27:51Speaker 3: way that Mark Levin and many of the other critics hit,
- 27:53Speaker 3: then they view you as somebody who's always going to
- 27:55Speaker 3: be part of that coalition. And I've learned this lesson,
- 27:58Speaker 3: I think very I mean really during mid Night Hammer
- 28:00Speaker 3: and ongoing forward. I do think that a breaking point,
- 28:04Speaker 3: if you will, will I mean at a certain point
- 28:06Speaker 3: has to come soon. We're already seeing it with a
- 28:08Speaker 3: lot of the maga ogs, I saw Milo a few others.
- 28:11Speaker 3: They're like, it's over the people who are there literally
- 28:13Speaker 3: from twenty fifteen, long before many others were. I don't
- 28:17Speaker 3: know yet whether that's indicative of anything, but at the
- 28:19Speaker 3: end of the day, if you're not willing to withdraw
- 28:21Speaker 3: your vote or withdraw your support, withdraw and actually deeply
- 28:24Speaker 3: criticize somebody, I don't think that you have a lot
- 28:26Speaker 3: of power in Washington. And I've seen that now play
- 28:29Speaker 3: out over and over again with a lot of these
- 28:31Speaker 3: neo cons who hated Donald Trump, and now that he
- 28:34Speaker 3: does the stuff that they want, they're his greatest champion, right.
- 28:37Speaker 3: I mean, he's like the Savior literally in the Messiah
- 28:41Speaker 3: in the way that they all talk about him. But
- 28:43Speaker 3: they were absolutely willing to trash him whenever he didn't
- 28:46Speaker 3: do what they want him to do. And I've learned
- 28:48Speaker 3: that especially over the years, like if you really want
- 28:50Speaker 3: sources in Washington, you need to criticize them, because then
- 28:53Speaker 3: they'll call you and be like, no, you're wrong.
- 28:54Speaker 1: This is what I'm saying.
- 28:55Speaker 3: If you just write fluff pieces for them, they're like, oh,
- 28:57Speaker 3: this person's a joke. You know, we could just feed
- 29:00Speaker 3: him anything. And I've seen it play out unfortunately now.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a great point. It's a great point. I mean,
- 29:06Speaker 2: I think of the same thing with like you know,
- 29:07Speaker 2: the AOC on the on the left, if you want
- 29:09Speaker 2: to take that perspective, like you know, constantly trying to
- 29:12Speaker 2: be good with leadership and not criticize too hard. And
- 29:15Speaker 2: it's like because of that, it really diminished her power.
- 29:18Speaker 2: It was not a strategy that was effective. So to
- 29:21Speaker 2: the extent that your goal year is to maintain influence
- 29:24Speaker 2: and access. First of all, to my point, like you
- 29:27Speaker 2: failed that access did not get you anywhere we are
- 29:30Speaker 2: in this war now. And if that is not a
- 29:33Speaker 2: principled redline for you, I don't know what it is.
- 29:35Speaker 2: What is? So what are you still maintaining your access
- 29:38Speaker 2: for at this point? Second of all, it does not
- 29:41Speaker 2: actually confer you power, right, You've had some. I mean
- 29:44Speaker 2: Marco Rubio himself ran against Trump in twenty sixteen. The
- 29:48Speaker 2: whole little Marco thing, I mean just absolutely vitriolic, rheteric,
- 29:52Speaker 2: Ted Cruz same thing, vitriolic, reli rhetoric back and forth
- 29:56Speaker 2: between them. But Trump, you know, if you suck back
- 29:59Speaker 2: up to him and them as flowers for doing what
- 30:01Speaker 2: you want, later on he's going to let you back
- 30:04Speaker 2: in the circle. I think there's another concern here though, too,
- 30:08Speaker 2: you know, with Tucker specifically, who's a podcast or an
- 30:10Speaker 2: influencer and also may have presidential ambitions. I don't know.
- 30:13Speaker 2: He floated that recently how he'd love to get on
- 30:16Speaker 2: his presidential debate stage versus Ted Cruz. You're walking a
- 30:20Speaker 2: tricky line with the Trump base because it is a
- 30:22Speaker 2: cult and the one thing they care about. And this
- 30:25Speaker 2: is what Ron DeSantis, you know, crashed into the rocks
- 30:28Speaker 2: of where do you stand on the issue of Donald Trump?
- 30:31Speaker 2: And so you can criticize Kushner, you can criticize the advisors,
- 30:34Speaker 2: you can criticize the Israelis, but there is a concern
- 30:38Speaker 2: that if you directly criticize Donald Trump the way that
- 30:40Speaker 2: like a Marjorie Taylor Green does or Thomas Massey does,
- 30:44Speaker 2: that you are going to be, you know, cast out permanently,
- 30:48Speaker 2: and you're going to be a Liz Cheney type figure,
- 30:51Speaker 2: going to be persona non grata, And so you're going
- 30:53Speaker 2: to lose that base of support. Because when Trump says
- 30:56Speaker 2: I am Magat, everything I say is what Maga is
- 31:00Speaker 2: and that's the end of the story. He is correct
- 31:02Speaker 2: about that. So I think that's the other part of
- 31:04Speaker 2: the calculation that is going on here. But again, like
- 31:08Speaker 2: if you're saying the CIA is spying on you and
- 31:11Speaker 2: the doo jib like they're trying to throw you in
- 31:13Speaker 2: prison and you can't man up and like name the
- 31:17Speaker 2: person who is the head of those agencies and who
- 31:19Speaker 2: they are all taking marching orders from, because he's installed
- 31:22Speaker 2: all of his loyalists. I just think it's I just
- 31:24Speaker 2: think it looks pathetic.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Frankly, I think I think the turn that you want
- 31:28Speaker 3: me becoming sooner than you think, Or I could be wrong.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I really don't know. Maybe they'll be Like David Sachs,
- 31:33Speaker 1: So let's talk about sas.
- 31:37Speaker 2: So some extraordinary comments here made by David Zachs, who
- 31:40Speaker 2: of course is the White House cryptosar, so he is
- 31:44Speaker 2: in the Trump administration even as he continues to host
- 31:48Speaker 2: his All In podcast, which is like sort of the
- 31:50Speaker 2: hub of tech bro discussion, and he made some pretty
- 31:54Speaker 2: extraordinary comments about his concerns regarding the Iran war, including
- 31:58Speaker 2: the possibility that he could see Israel launching a nuclear weapon,
- 32:03Speaker 2: which is I mean extraordinary, even just the admission that
- 32:07Speaker 2: Israel has nuclear weapons coming from an administration official. Let's
- 32:10Speaker 2: go and take a listen to that.
- 32:12Speaker 7: You also have to I think consider the impacts on Israel.
- 32:15Speaker 7: I mean, it's hard to know exactly how much damage
- 32:18Speaker 7: Israel is taking right now there's a social media blackout,
- 32:21Speaker 7: but what you're starting to hear trickle out is that
- 32:24Speaker 7: Israel is getting hit harder than they've ever been hit
- 32:26Speaker 7: before in their history. And we're only two weeks into this.
- 32:29Speaker 7: If this war continues for weeks or months, then Israel
- 32:34Speaker 7: could just be destroyed, and there are very large parts
- 32:36Speaker 7: of it now. I think Israel is a harder target
- 32:39Speaker 7: than the Golf States. Their infrastructure is more hardened. Also,
- 32:42Speaker 7: they're further away. The Gold States are vulnerable to drones
- 32:46Speaker 7: and shot range missiles, whereas Israel is mainly vulnerable to
- 32:50Speaker 7: long range missiles. Nonetheless, at some point their air defenses
- 32:54Speaker 7: could become exhausted if it hasn't happened already, and Israel
- 32:58Speaker 7: could get seriously destroyed. And then you have to worry
- 33:00Speaker 7: about Israel escalating the war by contemplating using a nuclear weapon,
- 33:05Speaker 7: which would truly be catastrophic. So there's a lot of
- 33:09Speaker 7: scenarios here, a lot of really frightening scenarios about where
- 33:14Speaker 7: escalation could lead. And even though the United States is
- 33:18Speaker 7: a much more powerful country than Iran. They essentially have
- 33:21Speaker 7: a dead man switch over the economic fate of the
- 33:25Speaker 7: Gulf States, and even potentially beyond that. You know the
- 33:29Speaker 7: habitability of some of these countries. So I do tend
- 33:32Speaker 7: to think that this is a good time to declare victory.
- 33:36Speaker 7: I think Brad, you're right that the president has never
- 33:39Speaker 7: said that democracy promotion is one of his objectives. Yes, Jkel.
- 33:42Speaker 7: Obviously everyone would welcome if the people rose up and
- 33:46Speaker 7: chose a new regime, but that's not something that we've said.
- 33:49Speaker 7: We have to accomplish.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Pretty unvarnished comments there at least coming from Trump administration official,
- 33:56Speaker 2: but unfortunately didn't last long. I can put this next
- 33:58Speaker 2: piece up on the screen. Trump put out this true
- 34:01Speaker 2: social that says the US has beaten and completely decimated
- 34:05Speaker 2: her on both militarily, economically, and in every other way.
- 34:08Speaker 2: But the countries of the world that receive oil through
- 34:10Speaker 2: the hormone strait must take care of that passage, and
- 34:13Speaker 2: we will help a lot. The US will also coordinate
- 34:15Speaker 2: with those countries so everything goes quickly, smoothly, and well.
- 34:17Speaker 2: This should have always been a team effort, really, and
- 34:20Speaker 2: now it will be. It will bring the world together
- 34:23Speaker 2: toward Harmony's scurity, an everlasting piece, to which Sachs replies,
- 34:27Speaker 2: this is a smart strategy thanks to President Trump. The
- 34:30Speaker 2: US is energy and dependent. The countries that actually depend
- 34:33Speaker 2: on Gulf oil should apply pressure to reopen the strait.
- 34:36Speaker 2: So clearly, you know he got some kind of phone
- 34:39Speaker 2: call and trying to get back in the good graces
- 34:41Speaker 2: year of Trump.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Yeah, he made the mistake of thinking that you actually
- 34:45Speaker 3: get to say what you want when you work for
- 34:47Speaker 3: the government. I mean, look, every word that he said
- 34:49Speaker 3: is correct, literally every word.
- 34:50Speaker 1: That's the David Sachs.
- 34:51Speaker 3: I remember I interviewed him here at the desk during
- 34:54Speaker 3: the war in Ukraine. He was always a voice of restraint,
- 34:58Speaker 3: a fan of John Meersheimer, remember, heroically stood up against
- 35:02Speaker 3: the war, against a lot of the Neo konagenda for
- 35:05Speaker 3: the war in Ukraine and war with Iran, by the way,
- 35:08Speaker 3: many years ago. And so this is part of the
- 35:10Speaker 3: problem though, with this entire, with this entire I mean,
- 35:14Speaker 3: it actually relates a lot to the conversation that we
- 35:16Speaker 3: just had about criticism and your ability to voice when
- 35:19Speaker 3: you're within the government and when the government and especially
- 35:22Speaker 3: this administration, demands absolute and total loyalty from everybody who
- 35:26Speaker 3: it works for. I mean, right now, as you and
- 35:29Speaker 3: I are doing this segment about David Sachs, the White
- 35:32Speaker 3: House Press Secretary this happened moments ago, is tweeting out
- 35:35Speaker 3: Ben Shapiro fan essays, being like Ben Shapiro, the White
- 35:39Speaker 3: House pres Secretary is saying. Ben Shapiro says, this is
- 35:42Speaker 3: the most courageous decision of my entire lifetime to go
- 35:45Speaker 3: to strike Iran. That's the tone coming from the White
- 35:48Speaker 3: House Press Secretary and the President talking about Mark Levin.
- 35:51Speaker 3: So when you have people like this who are more
- 35:53Speaker 3: independent minded or have a different view, who actually work
- 35:55Speaker 3: inside the administration, if you go out on your skis
- 35:58Speaker 3: and let's say, tell the truth, especially a philosophy which
- 36:01Speaker 3: was used to great political effect, I think during the
- 36:04Speaker 3: twenty twenty four campaign, and then they rein it in.
- 36:06Speaker 1: What does that tell you about the power?
- 36:08Speaker 3: What does that tell you about the information environment too
- 36:10Speaker 3: that they want to put out there.
- 36:11Speaker 1: In terms of who they want to boost.
- 36:13Speaker 3: They don't want really anybody to acknowledge, not even previously
- 36:16Speaker 3: held beliefs, but even the truth as it actually stands
- 36:19Speaker 3: in front of us. So it's really crazy and as also,
- 36:22Speaker 3: as I said at the top of the show, I
- 36:24Speaker 3: believe David Sachs is now the first US administration have
- 36:27Speaker 3: official ever to publicly acknowledge Israel's nuclear weapons program, even
- 36:31Speaker 3: though it has been done by Colin Powell, I think
- 36:33Speaker 3: in the Wikileak's emails when he talked about Israel's nuclear weapons,
- 36:36Speaker 3: but the first time has ever been publicly acknowledged, I
- 36:39Speaker 3: believe by an administration official, which is incredibly ironic considering
- 36:43Speaker 3: that we all know that it's the case. But I mean, yeah,
- 36:45Speaker 3: every word he said was true, but the fact that
- 36:48Speaker 3: you have to be rained in immediately just shows you
- 36:51Speaker 3: what we're dealing with.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I mean, the comments themselves are just worth lingering on
- 36:55Speaker 2: for one more minute. The fact that someone in the
- 36:59Speaker 2: Trumpet minute thinks the Israelis are crazy enough that if
- 37:04Speaker 2: this thing starts to going sideways for them, which in
- 37:06Speaker 2: some ways it already has. I mean, I think they're
- 37:09Speaker 2: in a sense, they're definitely achieving more of their aims
- 37:12Speaker 2: than the US is. This is going better for these
- 37:14Speaker 2: is Raelies than it is for the US. But they're
- 37:17Speaker 2: still dealing with a toll. There's a huge economic toll there.
- 37:20Speaker 2: You know, a significant part of their population is in
- 37:23Speaker 2: and out of bomb shelters. I'm sure there are plenty
- 37:26Speaker 2: of people will continue to just leave the country because, like,
- 37:28Speaker 2: you know what, this whole safe haven for Jews is
- 37:31Speaker 2: not so safe for me and my family. So they're
- 37:34Speaker 2: you know, they've already had an out migration problem. So
- 37:39Speaker 2: in any case, you know that you have this official
- 37:41Speaker 2: who's like, these people are crazy enough that they would
- 37:44Speaker 2: actually use an OUK. That's a wild, wild admission that
- 37:49Speaker 2: should be terrifying to all of us that that is
- 37:52Speaker 2: even a possibility that is on the table, and that
- 37:55Speaker 2: this president has put the world in a position where
- 37:57Speaker 2: that's a possibility. And by the way, I don't rule
- 37:59Speaker 2: it out for him either, because he's backed into a corner.
- 38:03Speaker 2: You know, it's not going to be just an easy
- 38:05Speaker 2: cake walk, contrary to what he says to reopen the
- 38:09Speaker 2: straight of form. Who's our allies are not excited about
- 38:12Speaker 2: putting their service members and their military equipment at risk
- 38:16Speaker 2: to help us fix the problem that we have created.
- 38:18Speaker 2: The global economy is going to suffer in ways that
- 38:21Speaker 2: could potentially be devastating, and there are no clear paths
- 38:25Speaker 2: to some sort of easy victory. Which is what Trump wants.
- 38:29Speaker 2: So the level of danger that the world is in
- 38:32Speaker 2: right now is truly truly terrifying, and especially when you
- 38:37Speaker 2: hear you know, even though he ultimately walked it back,
- 38:40Speaker 2: we all know the original comments are the ones that
- 38:42Speaker 2: he more accurately believes. To hear that directly from someone
- 38:45Speaker 2: within the administration is pretty extraordinary.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, and I do think it's important. Also,
- 38:50Speaker 3: I also think we need to start watching for dissent
- 38:54Speaker 3: and for anybody who's listening, who might still listen, who
- 38:57Speaker 3: is in the administration.
- 38:58Speaker 1: It's time to go.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Time to resign at a certain point, because unless you
- 39:02Speaker 3: want this to be on you forever, if you want
- 39:05Speaker 3: to be one of these like bush folks who has
- 39:07Speaker 3: to be a dead ender like Ari Fleischer till the
- 39:10Speaker 3: day you die about how you actually acted with honor.
- 39:14Speaker 3: We're at the point now we know what time it is,
- 39:16Speaker 3: and I think you should do and I think it's
- 39:18Speaker 3: time to go. Especially Look, you know, David, he could
- 39:20Speaker 3: do whatever he wants, is filed rich.
- 39:22Speaker 1: He's like nearly a billionaire.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Is it really worth it at this point, especially if
- 39:26Speaker 3: you really believed in the anti war agenda? For me, no,
- 39:28Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think it's time to go,
- 39:30Speaker 3: especially if you have the means to stand on your
- 39:32Speaker 3: own two feet. So that's just my own two cents.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Thank you guys so much for watching. We appreciate it.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Hope and pray that we survived the tornado. If we do,
- 39:40Speaker 3: we'll see you all tomorrow
