Transcript
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, folks.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the episode of Film Study.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is Canva Music or Back for Part 2 of our discussion of the defense in that win over the Vikings and other roddling performance by that defense that shut down in a sort of Vikings very effectively, had five sacks, two turnovers, and one 13 to three.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: Join me to discuss that is more encouraged.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: My wife, more encouraged, and more in-how are you doing?
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're doing well.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Did I remember that, right?
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: There was a time when I called something else and that wasn't as good, right?
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I should have it in my name.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know my anniversary, but that's another story.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: One, eight, 18, right?
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Is that your anniversary?
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Good, because my two, that's that.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: This is the same.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: All right, anyway, we're talking about the the interior defensive line yesterday.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: And some of the play we talked about order of entry, extensively in the first episode, some changes that occurred this week as opposed to last.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're interested in knowing what our process is during the preseason, I literally feel like, even though we handled it in kind of a light way,
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's really the mothership of pre-season review and analysis is just getting the order of entry properly, which is it's really simple to the piece of paper if you just keep track of the plays and are willing to use your DVR during the game to occasionally stop and write down the players who are who are in the game.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: that's covered extensively in the first episode.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to go over it again.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: What I do want to talk about is the defensive line rotation.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: And it really was rotation there.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Jenkins and Washington started the game.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: They played for the first four drives of the game.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: That was only the first quarter before they were pulled.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about a lot in the first episode about how it's nice to be out of the game early and back in street quotes.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: That means you're more likely to make the team.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: So, excuse me.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then another guy who played early and well was a deus pebbles.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: He was out of the game midway through the third quarter, but he had a terrific day, bunch of pressures in the game.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: I counted him for six.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: I noticed PFF had him for four.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be interested in how much of those they did not think were pressures, because he was in the cone the entire day.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Do they define pressures differently than you?
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it comes down to, yes.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: And again, they, they, they, I don't know how they define it in terms of how close you have to be the quarterback or, you know, exactly when relative's throwing the ball to me anytime you're in the cone and you could probably describe this as well, you know, given you the offensive line scoring with me.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: You're, you're impeding the quarterback's ability to step into that throw.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: And when you do that and they all of a sudden, you can't use their normal throwing motion to to deliver the football, then you've done something very positive that can help your secondary.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: So those those events, I'm fairly draconian about charging an offensive line, and who allows himself to be blocked into the cone, for example.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: We use a term also called B.O.Q.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: which is
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: Um, where the quarterback has to throw it quickly before, you know, pressure is developing, but before the pressure gets to him, he unloads the ball.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, did they consider that to be, you know, how PFF treats that?
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how they treated.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they would give in terms of grading specifically for that, but obviously a pressure is a bad thing and blocks that maintain the pocket for a long time probably are rewarded with a positive grade.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: I do trust PFF to do a good job with their grading.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: of pass blocking and run blocking separately.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's the combined numbers that are poor because they overweight run blocking and they also have an underweight for penalties, I believe.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: So that's those are the two areas where I think Piav is here.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: But even though I don't really agree with their integer pressures, I think their actual grades that underlie the system are very good.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: for whether or not a pressure has been allowed and charging a player with a negative end or a contribution to a pressure even though they might not end up with a one in that pressure call.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: So, and as you know, what's the, how could a pressure be divided in our system?
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, pressure is minus two points and it can be shared or one player can get it entirely.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm looking for.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: I was a little worried.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing this for eight years.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: Eight years you've been doing for a lot more than that.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: This shows only eight years old.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: No, we've only been married eight years.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're working the beginning of time for that.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: But we've been doing it for the lead scoring since 2005 money.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're done for.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's not as long.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, Jake and Sid watched a new first People's Zen terrific game.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: Benny came in fairly early in this game.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: He was in on the second series.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, he's in the first series.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, and he had a sack in this game.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: A really nice sack where he had his hand up, forced Wence to pull down the ball, and then he took him down for a, I think good eight yard loss.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: But nice play by Benny there.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Then we had oligigua and acoye come in and Two international pathway program Defensive tackles acoye really in those tackles and oligiga is a defensive tackle, but they're both born outside the United States And they could be put on the practice squad as a 17th man, which is nice But Either of them are potential poaching risks given they both played pretty well this preseason
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: And you only get one of those international players.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Just one.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: So they can keep one on the roster.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: They could have one on the practice squad.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: They could have one on the IR.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: And they could have one of the practice God or they can have one on the practice squad who is not an IPP player and one who is an IPP player.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: And the difference is you get one free additional spot if they are designated an IPP player.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: So they get 17 practice squad spots instead of 16.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Benny being a draft pick.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think they're going to hold on to him?
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know, yes, but people's the draft pick last year and around higher.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they'll hold on to him, too.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: And a coi was not a draft pick and is, I don't know how many years.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: It does in years younger than John Jenkins.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a chance they'll hold on to him.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a really interesting balancing act to be played.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: We want to get into that in just one second.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: So after I go through the order.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: But Graves and Wilson were the last two guys in the game.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: And even that they played well this preseason.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: I thought each of them,
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: You know, our players that another team might well have interest in, at least on their practice squad, at some point during the 2020 season.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Now, we didn't see any playing time from Travis Jones, Nevada, Nevada, B.K.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: Kaleas, Campbell.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: Namdi may not be close.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's not working on the sled yet.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's out there just doing conditioning work at practices.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: Even though he came off PUP, I think that,
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: Mentor describes him as chomping at the bit wanting to get back to regular practice, but some him and some the the Ravens may maybe kind of deciding whether or not he's really ready to do that yet.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think the put him on IR to start the season?
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: That would be the other alternative is they'd have to put him on IR and then that would open up a spot for somebody else to be only temporarily right.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: We hope, you know, I don't know what temporarily means with Nameda Metabiki anymore, because he's been out a long time, he's in place since the second week, first week, secondly, whichever it was, of last season.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, for one thing, you know, we're concerned his career is over.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, miraculously he's coming back and and joining the team and trying to work out with them and then all of a sudden the first day of practice, he's off the PUP list.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: which is that much more good news, but then since then there's been three and a half weeks of training camp now and he's yet to hit the sled, always doing.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: And the order of magnitude is just doing conditioning work, go ahead and hitting the sled and doing the regular positional drills that he would go through, which you know, a harder physical contact of the defensive linemen.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: then he's got again to 11 on 11 work, which is yet another level.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: That includes the brother-in-law play, he's playing within the team, and then he still weighs away from a joint practice say, which would be next, still a controlled environment, and then a game, of course, which is the highest level.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: So he's got a number of steps still to take, and you're kind of thinking of it as being like a concussion protocol, he's got to make it through each of these steps to get to a point where you can really help the team and be in a game, and I just don't know how long this
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know, mentor, I think is expressing.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: concern, maybe not frustration, I think that's the wrong word, I think more concern that he doesn't know what the timeline is now.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: And he's not sure he's going to be back for the regular season.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: And he's kind of kind of these estimates that it's a couple weeks out, couple weeks out for about the last three or four weeks.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: And it just really hasn't materialized.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe not for that long.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's been the last two weeks.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's said he's been a couple of weeks out.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: and he's still not hitting the sled yet, so I'm concerned too, and I think you've got to at least acknowledge the possibility of this year that he might not start this season on the team.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like we have several guys who could easily fill in.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, so they do have other players.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's the good news with Benny and Peoples and Acoya.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: They have other defensive linemen looking for work.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: And when it comes to his role on third down, you have guys like Zion Young and Tevis Robinson, who are big guys who could move inside to rush the pastor from there.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that'd be a stretch at all for those guys.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: So we'd love to have Matt at BK, 2023 right back in the lineup.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: But it's 2026, and Matt at BK's
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: Since then, and we have a few questions as to what Namedi is going to be back on the field, and hopefully that's a player we know in love and not a shadow of his former self, but we just have to wait for that to happen.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, Colleys Campbell is on this team, so he should be able to rush the pass or from a great many different positions when needed, whether that's at that
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: is speed important at this position because he's like 40 years old, right?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I call this level.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's 40.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he's speed is not his not really his game.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: He'd be quickness would be his game.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: Meaning he's he still has a good for a step.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: He plays extremely low when he's playing very well.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: They plays with extremely good leverage and he still he's a remarkable
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, physical specimen, the Ravens now have two on this team with their canry being the other who are guys who, there's no way they should be playing at the level they are given their age and all the canry keeps really good care of us body.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: Is, do we know if class is doing the same thing?
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he looks great.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I can tell you that.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's 680 looks built to play football and and you know, he hasn't like suddenly grown a big gut in there or anything.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, so he's a built exactly the way he probably should be at not only.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's like good in practice.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: He has not played a lot of 11 on 11 yet.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know what he did in the joint practice.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know whether he was on the field for that, but he might have been, if so, controlled environment, I'm sure he took care of business.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: But if there's anybody who knows exactly how to get ready for the regular season without probably having to play the preseason on this entire team at Pravey Class Campbell.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: So he's a guy who he's been through all of this before, he's banked those reps from 18 prior camps that he went to.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's got a lot of muscle memory to work on.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: To work with.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: To work with.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: So now the interior defensive line is not just a problem for 2026 though.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's a problem for 2027 and who's still going to be around for that?
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: So the Ravens could go into a this season with a five man defensive line, which would typically be the number of players they would keep and they would have Jones.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: They might have B.K.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: comes back to the proper health.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: They could decide he's ready.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: He starts the season.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Colleys Campbell, Jenkins, and Washington.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: But if they did have those five guys, that's all guys on their second contract or later.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, Campbell and Jenkins, specifically are 40 and 37 years old, respectively.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then they have Travis Jones, who still has two years under contract, so that's good.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: He'd be under contract through 2028.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then they have Washington who's only signed for this year.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then they have Madabike, who is signed for next year, but the Ravens, he'll have to actually be playing well again for the Ravens not to cut him.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: They have $11 million in savings next year if they cut him.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: So if Madabike is not at least a pretty good pass rush or again, they're probably going to want to get out of the final year of that deal.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: So it could be a case where the Ravens are only returning Travis Jones and that creates a very big,
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: great deal of difficulty in terms of drafting all the defensive line menu need to to fill out a team like that.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't want to be in that position.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's pretty much exactly the position that we're with the tight end group this year and they ended up having to fill it with draft picks and the resigning of Andrews and going out and signing Durham's smith and whatnot.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a lot to do in one year and you can't it's very unlikely
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: So it seemed, I mean, wouldn't you want to hold on to a couple of the young guys just for that reason?
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, exactly.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: So of a co-a peoples and Benny, I hope they keep two out of three.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love it if they could find a way to keep all three.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that there is the possibility I'm warming to the possibility that even John Jenkins job, and I think he had great year last year, is not entirely secure.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's got, I think, little under 400,000 of guaranteed money.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: and brought a Washington has 750,000 guaranteeed money, but I think the Ravens could be in a position where they either need to cut him or trade him.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: They could trade him for virtually nothing.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: It would be like a conditional 7th round pick.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: They would trade him for.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: Or they could just cut him and somebody else would pick him up.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: Pay him his Vettman salary, and that would be an offset to 1.25 million of about 2 million that he's going to earn this year.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: So the
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: The Raves of Young Hope for 750, but they kind of bought themselves an option to keep a younger player at that price tag.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: Let's move on to corner.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's the other position where the Ravens just have too many players and this is something.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: We knew it was too many players.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: We, we often say you can never have to be a corner.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's that it's it's a position where you see a lot of injuries.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: So it's it's good to have.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and teams are playing more nickel and dime.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, we've even seen some quarter that you need several of these guys.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: in the wings ready to go.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I mean, complete agreement with you, baby.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know that, but this is a place where they have some older corners of the roster with Humphrey and Awusia, who will both be UFA's after the season.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: So those guys are gonna be gone, and then they have to figure out, wait a minute, we were supposed to figure out which one of these guys was good and we actually wanted to keep and did we give them away last year because it's gonna be a year from now that they're having to reassemble the cornerback roster.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: So the five young guys that we talked about earlier, let's go through this again real quickly that are Konae, Longer Beam, Robinson,
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: rivers in Martin.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: Those five guys, they may only be able to keep three.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: And if they don't figure the right guys to keep, then they could end up with a big problem in 2027 that they don't have a very particularly deep corner roll.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think we've talked on that enough on the show previously.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need to go after it again.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't want to hit on the inside linebacker depth because that's another area where they're short-handed.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: I imagine Rowquan is going to be caught to save 20 million next year.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: Trent and Simpson is a UFA at the end of the season.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: I've commented and you've probably heard this on the show with us.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: There's a very narrow landing strip of play quality where Simpson can land.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: If Simpson has a great year, he's out of here for big money.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the ravens won't be able to resign him.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: if he has a lousy year, the ravens might decide they don't even want him.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's possible.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's that middle strip where he plays pretty good and maybe he's more valuable to us than he is to other teams so we can we can re-sign him at some price that is amenable to both both sides.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the narrow, the landing strip is actually pretty narrow on Simpsons play, so maybe the best thing to hope for is just Trent and Simpsons and breaks out has a big year and is lost to free agency, but at least they get a, you know, compensatory pick for them and get something for them even though they, you know, I think it's fair to say they didn't get as much as they could of hope to get out of the Simpsons draft pick for a few years ago.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now, let's go through and talk about some individual players and you had a couple players you wanted to, you wanted to bring up and tell me, who would you like to talk about?
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: I thought Ethan Burke had a really good game.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: He played pretty much the whole game, so that tells me that, you know, they're not necessarily decided that he's definitely, he's a lock.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: But I thought he played pretty well.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was outstanding.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I agree.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: Greethy completely on that.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm forgetting even how many how many steps he played in this game, but it was wasn't as many as you would think.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: I know we put that in the order.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he played all three quarters or four quarters, right?
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was rotating through all that.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: He played 34 snaps.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: He put about 52% of the snaps in total.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a lot for a preseason game for anyone to play.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: And the force to fumble granted that wasn't the fourth quarter against their scrubs, but still to do that in a game and not just practices.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that says a lot.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: And he also got a sack.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: And he had two passes defense, both in the back field.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: One was a really well-diagnosed screen.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't miss a big tackle.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: They had a fourth and one play, and he missed a tackle at the line of scrimmage that allowed Jefferson to run for 17 yards.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: So that was unfortunate.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: But other than that, great game.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: And certainly he was one of the stars for the Ravens in this game.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: So Berksa, Berksa good one to bring up.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: Who would I like to talk about?
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: How about a Neus Peoples?
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, absolutely fabulous game from Peoples.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: Here's give you an idea.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: He was on the field for 27 snaps and we have 10 different notes about him.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: of which only one is negative, where he got, he missed a tackle at the line of scrimmage on a nine yard run.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: That was in the middle of quarter three.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: But it's six different pressure events.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: He was party two.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: Most of them, I guess all six, were just pressures.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: But two of them, there were sacks on the play where he contained the pocket.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: The sack minus eight by Benny, he had a party too, and the sack minus nine by Jackson.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: He was compressed the pocket and closed off the exits.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: He just looks extremely slippery and twitchy getting in, and I think any of his pebbles from this game, he also played along the first one, really improved his chance to make this team.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Ravens now will really try to have to work for a find-away to keep him.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever that might be with that needs metapika going to I are or You know potentially broadic Washington being cut to make room for him, but they have there are a few different options on how to get him on the team But but I don't think at this point they're looking to cut any of his people's and I think he'll have a lot of takers if he gets to If he gets Released he'd probably be you know claimed by more than one team in them in the wavy process How old is he?
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a good question.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's about 23 or 24, but let me look it up for sure.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: I have it on my rise.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't this the second year?
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but that doesn't mean we know exactly what age you was coming at a school.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, let's see this.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: Peoples is 24 and I don't have his birth date from way back when so you came out of Virginia Tech.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: Second year.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Another player you want to talk about?
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: Um, no, you got all right.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Chainle Rivers had a great game, uh, he was in there played much earlier in the game.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: That slot corner still started by Martin and, and, you know, Martin had the great game against the Eagles.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't have expected to be different, but instead of having to come in, it really like the last three series of the game or so, he came in in the, um, in the third series of the game.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_01]: got the slot corner rule and played it for almost all the remainder of the game.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: Martin came back in for a little bit of web came in and it slot corner for a couple of snaps.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: But otherwise it was it was rivers the rest of the way.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: Rivers had a lot of big plays in the game.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: He had two nice plays where
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: He was close in coverage and the ball was incomplete.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: One he actually got a PD on the other one.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: He kind of forced the incompletion by being right in the hip pocket.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: One of those, he did allow a 19 yard completion to Jones.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: That was early in the game, but on that play, Green had already drawn an offensive holding on the left tackle, so the play was negated, so that was at least good.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I also had a share of a sack, minus seven, where he assisted Olegiga on the play.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: So a great game for Chandler Rivers, one of the, he was certainly one of the best Ravens players in this game, and it's kind of a testament, because midter is, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some, you know, you're doing some
- 23:32[SPEAKER_01]: laboratory work in this game, but he had rivers rush the quarterback four times in this game.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: And when you do that with a defensive back, you know, first of all, you know, you're probably like to rush the slot corner, which I'm already loving, you know, that defensive mindset.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: But second of all, you know, he probably likes rivers for that role specifically.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think, I mean, that's Hamilton did most of last year, right?
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: kind of already have the best.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: Do we need two guys that do that?
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that'd be a legitimate question because but Hamilton, like I said earlier, the only chance to really use rivers is when you have Hamilton not in that slot role.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: And the only time Hamilton is not really in that slot role that you have five defensive backs on the field is when Hamilton is in the dimer role.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, and when he moves over to Inside Linebacker to a weekside linebacker in the dime, then you can bring in Chandler Rivers for maybe 25% of the team's total snaps.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: And that's pretty good game script, aggressive use of dime, that would be about how much they play.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: They could have great game script.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the 2019 Ravens with the game script, they had played dime over 42% of the time.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: And the 2000 Ravens with the Cupcakey schedule and
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: played at 34 and a half percent of the time.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: So it is possible to have even more than that, but 25 percent is about optimal in terms of how much dime you can play when you really want to play dime and get a player like Kyle Hamilton to replace a player like Trent and Simpson on passing downs at that spot.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: So that's all the obvious things there.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: Do you see them playing dime on more than just third and long?
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, there's other places where they can play time so you can play it on like second and ten second and nine.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's one and you can play it in positive game script situations where you're up by, you know, 14, 16, 17 points late third quarter or later, and then you can play this kind of problems.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that'd be, that's exactly the first one problem, so it's exactly the issue now.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: There are a lot of people who think because of the combination of kind of a week schedule for the Ravens this year, they play the FC South and the NFC South, so they might be in some positions where they'll have some leads that they're working with.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're kind of getting ahead of ourselves a little bit with that, but if that were to work out, then they should have some positive games
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you what.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go on then.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to name my defensive MVP's and the reason for this.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I know I didn't ask you to do this, babe.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just going to go ahead and talk away through this.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: My number three guys, Mike Green, my only negative about Mike greens playing this game is that he was out there at all.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: He was unbelievably good, you know, at a sack, at a quarterback hit on consecutive plays.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he made a move inside, then I'm sorry, made a move outside, really low to the ground.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: Basically, made his play with the sack from the ground and then got a quarterback hit by beating the left tackle inside bird and not only did he get the quarterback hit, but he also drew a holding call that negated a 19-yard play.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: So Green was fabulous in this game.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: He had other place too.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: He had a great pursuit play on 3rd and 19 when nobody else could seem to make the tackle.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: And he had to run him down for an eight yard game that's still forced him to punt.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: So Green had it at a terrific game and you know what I'll say is the inside and the outside move, the two of those things together, the bendy show, the ability to make the play from the ground, it is the best evidence we have seen at any point during his Ravens career.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: that he's ready to fulfill his draft promise.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: You know, what we said on draft night, we were absolutely thrilled.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: He was a first round draft pick, the Ravens got in the second round.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: And we couldn't have been more thrilled about that happening.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: And his rookie year was struggle.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was a struggle because it was a trial by fire.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: He was playing many too many snaps because the Ravens didn't have healthy outside linebackers.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's being asked to play the run a lot more, play on early downs.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's going to happen this year.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: You'll play some early downs, but primarily, he's going to be a situational past rusher who the Ravens hopefully unleash on opponents on those downs and players like Zion Young and Tavius Robinson can take the early downer responsibilities.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: Still the effective past rusher's bit be, you know, these very physical edge setters that the Ravens need.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, going from my green, we'll go to number two, and my number two is Ethan Burke.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about Burke extensively already, so I'm not going to go too much deeper into him, but one of the things I think was very cool was the fact that Burke dropped a cover five times in this game.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: So talked about it briefly in the first episode, but we're going to go to a little bit more here, a little bit of a laboratory game from mid to her.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: And he had 14, sorry, 13 drops to coverage by his outside linebackers in 96 total, outside linebacker pass snaps.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: So that's 14% of that, 13 half, we'll call it 14% rounded.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: of the staffs he did that.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: Now that's about 150, 160%, maybe a little bit higher than that, of the normal amount that he would drop an outside lineback or to cover.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: Couple of reasons.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: Ons to what the Vikings were doing.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: So that's part of it I think is that Flores was being really aggressive with his blitz and and midter one to show all you want to you want to You want to juice up blitz.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'll show you juice up blitz and the fact that they won the sack battle five to one is a pretty you know is pretty good evidence that the Ravens one that exchange They also you know McCarthy was in the game.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm the Ravens who never have one more Jackson the game McCarthy is their starting quarterback and he took two lower leg hits from my green in the game that I would not want him taking
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: So, uh, uh, do you think either there should have been flagged?
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think they were forceful, lower body hits, but I don't want my, my, quarterback.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_01]: She ain't on what that is.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a lot of things can come wrong and that it could come caution or knee injury or whatever it might be.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: Um, anyway, Burke terrific game though.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if if you ever wanted to draw up what you wanted to do to improve your chance of making a team, what do you think Burke did in this game?
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, pretty much hit for the cycle in terms of, you know, the the sack, the quarterback hit two passes defense, the force fumble.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: It reminded me in a little bit of ways of what Kelly Greg did to make the team and a day game against the Giants in 2001 when he beat out Dwayne Missouri for the last spot.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's it really was not really covered on hard knocks other than there was some competition between those guys, but in the last game of the of the preseason.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: that day, those two, Dwayne Missouri and Kelly Gregg had the most incredible exchange of plays you'll ever see between two guys trying to make a football team.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: Missouri had two sacks, both of them might think he had a force fumble, Gregg had an intersection, Kelly Gregg had an intersection in the game.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: He dropped the cover and he had a Michael Pierce S. I'm guessing he didn't run it back.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't run it back for the score.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: But he did run back, if we're the score, a bumble that was caused by Dwayne Missouri on a sack.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: It was an incredible back and forth thing.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: And whatever happened to Dwayne Missouri, he played two games for Dallas.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: Then he went to the arena league and it was a superstar there.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he played it was a two-way player, played offense and defense and not.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a, it was outstanding player there.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: You're an interesting character.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: I was a surprise that he didn't have a, you know, better NFL career.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, Greg, they picked the right guy.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: He was around the league for 10 years.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: And he's probably one of two or three guys who's the most deserving, but still outside the Ravens ring of honor at this point.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: Of the eligible people.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not there.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: For example.
- 31:40[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_00]: Matt, he's still playing or is he?
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's still playing and he has to be retired for so amount of time before they can consider him yeah I might be five there might only be a couple or they might just decide as soon as he says he's retired that they'll put him in just because they want to you know have it be a good field of the moment.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: Okay well in the work is your one of your MVP sees not necessarily a lot to make the team right.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's still got to fight with a decent Isaac and Rucker had a real nice game in this one.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's another guy, he's among my honorable mentions for the MVP I'll tell you what those are in a second.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go to my number one guy.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see that first.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: Chandler Rivers is my number one guy and another guy who did everything he possibly could to reverse what seemed to be a landslide victory for the
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: for key on Martin in terms of the number one spot at slot corner after Hamilton.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, again, this responsibility is fairly small.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: They can really probably only afford one roster spot there and yet they can't afford not to keep both.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: These guys, it's just too much time up there, so I think they probably will and will love.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: What round was Rivers picked in?
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: fifth.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: So they've caught two fifth round picks in recent history.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: Ben Mason, who was a full back, they thought they were going to keep him any end up going to the Patriots.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then they cut Kyube Lukelli, who's the perfect cop for him.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's a cornerback out of Stanford.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_01]: And very much like Chandler Rivers didn't have a great final year in college.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: And Chandler Rivers didn't either, but he's come here and he's lit it up during camp and through a lot of Kauyubu Kelly didn't do that.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: And he's popped around the NFL with a few different teams.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: Finally, I think had a couple interceptions of the Packers this last year.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: Let me toss in my honorable mentions here.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: We got Raysha on Benny with a nice sack.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: Kyandre Jackson, another big game, Robert Longerbeam, several nice plays, including a hit a tipped ball that was the very first challenge of Jesse Midter's Raven's career, not a meaningful one, but he got the first win out of the way.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: There, NES Peoples felt really bad leaving him off this list, because I thought he just was outstanding at six contributions to six pressures, as I mentioned, came in a rocker, terrific game also, a quarterback hit, made a really nice play against the run, brother Gwashington, by the way, who is only being remembered so far, this is this preseason
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: Smaller, let's put him center, Willie Lampkin in the first game against the Eagles, but he's played very well, it's played really good run defense this preseason and he's been very stout and he probably deserves to make this team and he definitely deserves to make some team.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: And he still might not because the Ravens just have so much youth they'd like to try and get in there and then Zion young is the last guys I and young had a couple plays I thought even more than his pressure I was a boy by bull rush I really liked his patient.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: waiting on the outside in run defense.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: He was on the back side and the key on Martin actually got to the backfield and forced the play back to the right.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: As the running back was initially going left and young was right there to swallow them up for I think for no gain might have been for a gain in one on
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: play, but good game from Zion Young.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't use him to drop the cover at all, which was interesting, but I do expect he's going to have to play some on that same side, or I do expect you'll play some on the same side anyway.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: Did he play in the second half?
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: A young he did, he played into the third quarter, the first drive only, and then he and then he's set down.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: So it sounds like they've kind of decided he's making the team.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: Let's keep going here.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: I bring up my notes here again.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: We had a few couple questions for the mail bag.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: We want to get to okay.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see where I put these.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: They're in a folder labeled mailback questions.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, are they right over here?
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's actually labeled defense show, but that's what you're, uh, okay.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, this is interesting.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: This is, this is a, um, that we've, we've talked about this before, but it's worth discussing again.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_01]: This is from Dragon Boy 0773.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate your question.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: It said not truly understanding why Trenton can't line up as Sam on certain packages and rush from the outside.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: He basically was an outside linebacker at Clemson and did his best work rushing the passer.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think Jesse will definitely have a package for him there on third and long situation with Kyle Hamilton, his divebacker threatening to come on the blitz.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: Jesse did a lot of that with the Chargers Liedbacker number zero who was similar to Trenton.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: Jesse has spoken on different occasions about him being very versatile and being able to line up in different spots, which lends itself to believe he's going to use him in different packages outside of being inside a linebacker.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: He's also a great spy.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: He can be a major weapon for us.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, first of all, Dragon Boy agree with you completely that Trenton Simpson is a major weapon.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he could be a guy who he starts the season at Weekside Linebacker for the Ravens and it is very, very difficult for Teddy Buchanan to win back his job because Trenton Simpson is doing it so well.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: And that was kind of the situation last year was Trent and Simpson had a really fine year in the in the snap C played he takes care of himself physically he's big enough to play the Mike linebacker role the problem is he doesn't really have the instincts to do it he's a much better chase player you make use of his feet he's actually at Clemson he was a converted safety who came down to play weekside linebacker I don't think
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: The thing I think he lacks is this.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: When you play outside linebacker, you better be threatening the two way, you better be threatening to be able to rush the pass or and beat an offensive tackle.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: If you're not able to do that, then your might as well be playing off ball somewhere.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, they probably, you know, in the Raven's defense the way it's currently constituted or the way we expected to be constituted, that's a weekside linebacker.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: The Ravens don't have a package, or at least doesn't appear, they have a package where they play three off ball linebackers.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: So unless you really think Trent and Simpson can go up against a typical right tackle in the NFL and be too quick and too slippery or play too low or have been that we really haven't seen so far in his career.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: Unless you believe that.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: then he doesn't represent the threat you should have there, you know, it's these not somebody that you have to commit shipblocks to.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: There's not somebody that tight-end has to has to lean into.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: And if they did, you know, maybe that would be too effective, anyway, against a player like Trent and Simpson, so you wouldn't want to have him over there.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway,
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: In a nutshell, if he's just going to drop the coverage, then he might as well play off ball anyway.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: And if he's going to rush the pass, then he has to be able to beat from that position.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: He has to be able to beat an offensive tackle.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I just don't think that's what I see from Trent and Simpson at this point in his career.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's a guy who can blitz.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: He can really help you there.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: And he could probably help you on third down.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: If you leave the weekside linebacker in and leave Kyle Hamilton a slack corner, that's a possibility, but I don't think he's a guy that that makes sense as a Sam linebacker playing with his hand in the dirt at the line of scrimmage on third down and that's what a Sam linebacker would typically do, they wouldn't be a standing start player at out of two points stance on third down.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, I appreciate your question, Dragon Boy, and Dragon Boy sent this to film study mailbag at gmail.com.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, he didn't.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: He went in through the YouTube video column in Sydney, but much appreciate you for leaving it there.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: Please use film study mailbag at gmail.com for your questions.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: Moreen will be hawking that and bringing them over to me at any inconvenient time for me.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well,
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: And we get some great show ideas for that.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so appreciative of of you folks for contributing to that.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: More and thanks very much for all your help on this.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: I want to do to, you know, explain to people how important you are to the show,
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: making sure that I can read my own notes and that we can talk through stuff about the offensive line.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: I've never really gone over this or not not recently anywhere on air to talk about marine and how offensive line scoring works, but the biggest thing you get out of that is quality control.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going through the sheet and she'll notice any piece of information that we've missed as we're trying to fill out the form you know play
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's that's really serious weakness.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, uh, uh, I say, you know, four zero rush and, you know, all the, all the things that that go into that, you, you tell they will wait a minute.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: Did you want to score the players on that player?
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: Would you like to come back that late time?
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: There would be a certain snottiness to it as you can, as you can see.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think I said, we're not like to say.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, thanks, babe.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: Anything else you want to tell people about related to the show or anything they should do?
- 41:15[SPEAKER_00]: That I can subscribe.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like a friend.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: Tell a friend.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's always good.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: Tell a friend.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks again for listening.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'll talk to you next time on Philp's study.
