- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with IR Radio. Hey everyone, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast.
- 0:09Speaker 1: It is me. This week, Ben is still out on
- 0:12Speaker 1: his honeymoon. I think he might be like in transit
- 0:15Speaker 1: back to home from St Barth St Barth St Barth,
- 0:20Speaker 1: follow me or whatever you call it. UM, So he'll
- 0:23Speaker 1: be back next week to regale us with all of
- 0:26Speaker 1: his honeymoon tales or at least the details that he'll
- 0:29Speaker 1: let us in on. Very excited about that. But today
- 0:33Speaker 1: we have Jacqueline Trumbull. You may remember her as the psychologist.
- 0:39Speaker 1: She was studying psychology UM when she was on RI
- 0:42Speaker 1: season and she's just about to wrap up her current
- 0:45Speaker 1: PhD program at Duke University UM. So we're gonna have
- 0:49Speaker 1: her to come on and talk about this episode, which
- 0:54Speaker 1: guys like, what is going on? I cannot believe Clayton
- 0:58Speaker 1: is the Bachelor. That is my biggest takeaway. Still can't
- 1:02Speaker 1: believe it. But before we get her on the line,
- 1:04Speaker 1: I do want to give out our batch bracket rule
- 1:07Speaker 1: of the week. Are you ready for it? Batch Bracket
- 1:11Speaker 1: rule the week four, Week seven is minus five points
- 1:15Speaker 1: if a contestant says they are quote jealous of another
- 1:20Speaker 1: contestant or another contestants relationship or time with Michelle. So
- 1:26Speaker 1: this will be for the I believe, the Hometown Day episode,
- 1:32Speaker 1: so look out for the word jealous. All right, let's
- 1:37Speaker 1: get Jacqueline and catch up with her for a second
- 1:40Speaker 1: before we dive into the episode, and man like, I
- 1:43Speaker 1: think her her background in psychology might help us break
- 1:47Speaker 1: it down a bit. Alright, guys, we got Jacqueline Trumbull
- 2:01Speaker 1: on the line. Do I say guys too much? I'm
- 2:04Speaker 1: always like, okay, guys, hey, guys, I'm sorry that must
- 2:08Speaker 1: be very annoying for y'all out there. But Jacqueline is here,
- 2:12Speaker 1: and Jacqueline, what's what are you up to? We knew
- 2:15Speaker 1: that you were studying psychology back on our season, but
- 2:18Speaker 1: you're still You're going for your PhD now at Duke.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I am, yeah, I'll be doing that for approximately forever.
- 2:27Speaker 1: How much longer do we have until you're a practicing psychologists? Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 1: it's a six year program, so I am in the
- 2:35Speaker 1: third year right now, and then after that I'm still
- 2:38Speaker 1: wanta be a licensed for like another two years. So
- 2:41Speaker 1: maybe when I'm thirty seven, I'll make money. But oh
- 2:45Speaker 1: my gosh, well, I'd love to hear how you watch
- 2:50Speaker 1: how you think you watch the Bachelor franchise differently because
- 2:54Speaker 1: of your studies. Oh gosh, um, I think I mean
- 3:00Speaker 1: more than anything. I think I just watch how like
- 3:02Speaker 1: produced and manipulated it is. And then I see you know,
- 3:06Speaker 1: the contestants reactions to like what's happening to them. Do
- 3:10Speaker 1: you think that's from your experience on the show or
- 3:12Speaker 1: do you think that's I didn't. I didn't feel overtly
- 3:16Speaker 1: manipulated at the time, but I can see how the
- 3:19Speaker 1: same like storylines keep happening and just you know, just
- 3:23Speaker 1: like some tinkering. But I what I found really interesting
- 3:26Speaker 1: about the show on my time and now is that
- 3:29Speaker 1: it felt like it created its own little culture. And um,
- 3:33Speaker 1: certain things that wouldn't necessarily be cool or normal out
- 3:36Speaker 1: in the real world were suddenly totally acceptable. You're the
- 3:40Speaker 1: you know crier from your season. I also felt like
- 3:42Speaker 1: I was crying every four and a half seconds. So
- 3:45Speaker 1: I felt like this like culture of strong emotions was
- 3:47Speaker 1: really pushed there, and it felt good to be like
- 3:50Speaker 1: really open and vulnerable and have really different kinds of
- 3:53Speaker 1: conversations than in normal life. Um, and so one thing
- 3:57Speaker 1: I think is interesting is like when people criticize contestants
- 4:00Speaker 1: who were watching from the outside, not understanding that the
- 4:03Speaker 1: way you're kind of encouraged to be is totally different
- 4:06Speaker 1: and the rules are just different. I don't know, it
- 4:09Speaker 1: was just really interesting. Yes, totally. There was a conversation
- 4:13Speaker 1: in this week's episode, which will break down in a second,
- 4:16Speaker 1: that felt super edited, and I wonder if you picked
- 4:20Speaker 1: up on it. Oh, maybe which one? Yes, gosh, okay,
- 4:24Speaker 1: what felt super I don't know. I don't know Martin Okay,
- 4:31Speaker 1: well non figured not his conversation with Michelle, but his
- 4:35Speaker 1: conversation that he had with the guys. Oh, because I
- 4:40Speaker 1: was like not understanding where um oh Lou was getting
- 4:46Speaker 1: his info for Like, I was like, okay, how was he?
- 4:49Speaker 1: I definitely, I definitely felt like something was missing, something
- 4:51Speaker 1: is missing, right, So I had to go back, And
- 4:53Speaker 1: then when I did rewind and I watched it again,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I was like, oh, there's a lot of Martin talking
- 4:59Speaker 1: without him his face showing. Okay, so those are like
- 5:03Speaker 1: one of those moments. The one thing I know is
- 5:05Speaker 1: always like it seems like he's telling her something different
- 5:07Speaker 1: than what he's telling us. But I felt like always
- 5:09Speaker 1: saw him tell them was what happened. I mean, he
- 5:11Speaker 1: was he kept insisting that she made an incorrect interpretation,
- 5:15Speaker 1: which I don't think was true, but I don't know,
- 5:17Speaker 1: it didn't feel like he was saying anything all that different,
- 5:20Speaker 1: so I was a little confused by that. Yeah, he's
- 5:23Speaker 1: clearly kind of a dick in general. I mean just
- 5:26Speaker 1: bad vibes, right, I don't know, like Martin just has
- 5:28Speaker 1: given bad vibes for a while. So it's like, even
- 5:31Speaker 1: though it felt like something was missing, I was still like, Okay,
- 5:35Speaker 1: I'm going to trust this, and I think that, like,
- 5:37Speaker 1: between you and I, we can probably say that even
- 5:41Speaker 1: though like there is always a lot missing from the
- 5:46Speaker 1: show's contexts, because we are being filmed twenty four or
- 5:50Speaker 1: seven and they crunch it down to an hour and
- 5:52Speaker 1: twenty minutes, we can say that generally it's you get
- 5:57Speaker 1: the you get what actually happened in the airing version. Yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I mean when I watched back, I definitely felt like
- 6:07Speaker 1: my storyline had been manipulated, but it wasn't in a
- 6:09Speaker 1: way that bothered me too much. And I felt like
- 6:13Speaker 1: in general, the kind of essences of the people were
- 6:16Speaker 1: like pretty accurate like I don't remember thinking, oh that guy,
- 6:19Speaker 1: that person got really shafted the essence soul like that. Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 1: that's funny. Okay, Well have you been dating? Do you
- 6:29Speaker 1: have a boyfriend? Is there any like updates since you
- 6:32Speaker 1: were dating Ari? Oh yeah, no, I'm getting married in July.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That's amazing, congrats me. So he's actually a um he's
- 6:45Speaker 1: actually a psych professor at Duke. So that's you know,
- 6:48Speaker 1: candaalous he came into so scandalous, but also me now
- 6:54Speaker 1: he's in a different kind of psych so we have
- 6:56Speaker 1: no overlap, Like he doesn't teach any classes that I take,
- 6:59Speaker 1: and we have a whole management plan. Basically, he gave
- 7:02Speaker 1: a guest lecture um in one of my classes, and
- 7:05Speaker 1: I just thought he was super cute and we had
- 7:07Speaker 1: he like talked a little bit about his life. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: was like, I mean, he's like an artist. That's one
- 7:12Speaker 1: of his paintings back there, and um, I like to
- 7:15Speaker 1: paint all these overlaps and so I basically just made
- 7:18Speaker 1: it my mission to go seduce this person. So I
- 7:22Speaker 1: got him to meet up with I like slim his
- 7:25Speaker 1: d m s on Twitter, and then we started talking
- 7:27Speaker 1: a lot. Met up with him and then as soon
- 7:29Speaker 1: as we basically acknowledged there was something going on, we
- 7:32Speaker 1: like went to HR and they made a management plan
- 7:34Speaker 1: for us. So just I know people have feelings about
- 7:37Speaker 1: me dating professor, but um, yeah, that's how we met,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and um I'm waiting. So I proposed to him a
- 7:45Speaker 1: couple of weekends ago and he is proposing to me
- 7:48Speaker 1: within the month proposed to him. Tell us how you
- 7:52Speaker 1: decided to do that non traditional move. Yeah, So it
- 7:56Speaker 1: wasn't even I wasn't like aiming to be nontradition and
- 8:00Speaker 1: will or anything like that. But I have horrible commitment issues,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and in the first year of our relationship, I just
- 8:06Speaker 1: made him crazy because I was noncommittal, and then he
- 8:08Speaker 1: made me crazy because he was reacting to that. And
- 8:12Speaker 1: so I got into my head that maybe I proposed
- 8:14Speaker 1: to him because that would be like a show of
- 8:16Speaker 1: real commitment and security. And then by the time we
- 8:19Speaker 1: actually were really talking about getting married, I was like,
- 8:22Speaker 1: screw that. I want the ring and the proposed and everything.
- 8:24Speaker 1: So I knew he was planning something and I just
- 8:26Speaker 1: said that to him. I was like, you know, I
- 8:27Speaker 1: kind of had this idea, and he was like, do
- 8:29Speaker 1: you have it? Not. I'm a lot of proposal too.
- 8:31Speaker 1: So then he like, I was like, okay, seriously, He's like, yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 1: I want you to propose to me. So then I
- 8:37Speaker 1: came up with this whole proposal and did you do
- 8:40Speaker 1: it with a ring? I did? Yeah, I got a
- 8:43Speaker 1: little I got a gold signat ring with a letter J.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So you know who always have me with him? Did
- 8:50Speaker 1: you get down on one knee? Uh no, I put
- 8:53Speaker 1: it I So this isn't supposed to be the serious proposal.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But when I asked what he wanted for his proposal,
- 8:59Speaker 1: he pointed at his penis. So I got a pair
- 9:01Speaker 1: of underwear like monogram to stay, like will you marry me?
- 9:04Speaker 1: And then he had to look at my ASTs. Oh
- 9:07Speaker 1: my gosh, that's hilarious. I have another girlfriend who she
- 9:13Speaker 1: proposed to her boyfriend too, and it was like started
- 9:16Speaker 1: out as a joke like two years earlier, and then
- 9:20Speaker 1: he was like, no, you said it, You're gonna do
- 9:23Speaker 1: it one day, like this is how we're gonna do it.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So like she really did it whatever, and now yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 1: the wedding is also this coming summer. Oh nice, everything
- 9:34Speaker 1: everyone is getting married this summer everyone. Yeah, have you
- 9:38Speaker 1: started planning. Have you you have a date and all
- 9:40Speaker 1: that at a date and the venue as long as
- 9:43Speaker 1: all I have, as long as you secured that venue.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Because supposedly the most popular wedding year ever because of
- 9:51Speaker 1: so many people who have had to push it back
- 9:53Speaker 1: to that year. I know. Alright, well, let's dive into
- 9:57Speaker 1: this episode, but first we have to take a break.
- 10:00Speaker 1: We'll be right back, okay. Part one, we see Michelle's
- 10:15Speaker 1: men talking to some of Michelle's students. We don't know
- 10:17Speaker 1: their current students. They seem very young, and I thought
- 10:20Speaker 1: that she teaches like fifth grade, but they are all
- 10:23Speaker 1: very adorable and they're kind of like quizzing them and
- 10:29Speaker 1: they're figuring out who they like. They're asking silly questions
- 10:32Speaker 1: about like farts and stuff. Um. I think it was
- 10:36Speaker 1: actually very adorable until they really pretend, until production made
- 10:43Speaker 1: it seem like the kids really planned these dates, and
- 10:47Speaker 1: then they took it so seriously. I'm like, Okay, the
- 10:49Speaker 1: audience isn't dumb. These kids didn't book the planetarium. The
- 10:56Speaker 1: book the planetarium and ask really probing questions, you know,
- 10:59Speaker 1: and write my little slips. She ends up going on
- 11:05Speaker 1: the date with Clayton, So what What have your feelings
- 11:08Speaker 1: on Clayton been so far? Because going into this date,
- 11:12Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, knowing that he's the Bachelor, we're
- 11:15Speaker 1: gonna like grow to love him, we are going to
- 11:18Speaker 1: get so much out of him during this one day,
- 11:21Speaker 1: and he's going to be a shoe in for Top
- 11:23Speaker 1: four and he'll be kind of the dark horse. Yeah. Well,
- 11:28Speaker 1: I was definitely expecting to see more given what we
- 11:32Speaker 1: know what happens with him. He seems like he just
- 11:38Speaker 1: seems like the Bachelor from two thousand fift Like he
- 11:42Speaker 1: just seems totally that type. He's really sweet. He says
- 11:45Speaker 1: the lines, you know, with like total sincerity, tears in
- 11:49Speaker 1: his eyes. I just want to find love, you know,
- 11:51Speaker 1: so I can see why they chose him. But other
- 11:56Speaker 1: than that, it's like it was just such a normal,
- 12:00Speaker 1: like not particularly exciting date or episode. He just did
- 12:05Speaker 1: nothing for me on this day, and he obviously did
- 12:10Speaker 1: nothing Michell, so I was like I had to like
- 12:17Speaker 1: pose it, and I was left just mind boggle and
- 12:19Speaker 1: I was like, wait a second, this is the end
- 12:22Speaker 1: of his story and he has become the Bachelor. This
- 12:27Speaker 1: is wild. He doesn't even make Top four and then
- 12:31Speaker 1: they like kind of take a quick break and they
- 12:34Speaker 1: go into this the scene where he's reading letters from
- 12:40Speaker 1: the quote children. Do you believe that these letters are
- 12:43Speaker 1: from the children or did the children write them in
- 12:46Speaker 1: their child handwriting and they were maybe like fed some lines.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Well that just makes me want because I think I
- 12:52Speaker 1: think I either could happen. I mean, I wonder how
- 12:55Speaker 1: much effort the producers put it, Like if they were
- 12:57Speaker 1: assigned a producer and the producer sat down with them
- 12:59Speaker 1: and was basically planting ideas about how to write, and
- 13:02Speaker 1: they wrote it together. But it's certainly not like the
- 13:05Speaker 1: children took it upon themselves to write these letters for
- 13:09Speaker 1: dear Clayton, and he acts as if they truly did.
- 13:15Speaker 1: But I also feel like there was like a hint.
- 13:18Speaker 1: There had to be a hint of acting, because we
- 13:21Speaker 1: felt nothing between them. I just feel like he was
- 13:25Speaker 1: kind of told like, hey, we don't have a bachelor
- 13:28Speaker 1: for next season. UM, just wanted to put that in
- 13:32Speaker 1: your head before you make your final um camera appearance. Yeah,
- 13:38Speaker 1: it's really just bizarre. I mean, I can't. It really
- 13:42Speaker 1: seems like they were just that desperate ticket back to
- 13:44Speaker 1: a white bachelor, like that they were willing to do this.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I mean, it just makes no sense to me that
- 13:48Speaker 1: they would take somebody who's top eight and had no
- 13:51Speaker 1: connection with the lead. I mean you could see like
- 13:53Speaker 1: at dinner she had art gone and deciding she doesn't
- 13:56Speaker 1: want to date this person. Like her face was shut off,
- 13:59Speaker 1: she was totally locked down. I mean it was just
- 14:01Speaker 1: I don't I don't know what he could have possibly
- 14:04Speaker 1: be thinking. Like if I were him, I would be
- 14:06Speaker 1: completely floored if somebody said you have bachelor potential or
- 14:10Speaker 1: like you're a guy. Same. So then like when he's
- 14:15Speaker 1: so he reads these letters and then he starts like
- 14:18Speaker 1: going into this you know, emotional release about how he
- 14:24Speaker 1: just all he really wants a wife and kids, like
- 14:27Speaker 1: now he just really wants a waving kids when he
- 14:29Speaker 1: was just telling Michelle the day before that like it
- 14:33Speaker 1: was something that he hadn't thought about for a while,
- 14:35Speaker 1: but like apparently being with her like he had this
- 14:37Speaker 1: big revelation that now he's ready for it. And it
- 14:40Speaker 1: was just it was really like they were like, Okay,
- 14:43Speaker 1: we don't have a bachelor, so let's throw this little
- 14:48Speaker 1: scene together and hopefully people buy it. And I didn't
- 14:52Speaker 1: buy it, well I didn't buy it, but the thing
- 14:55Speaker 1: is like I could have thought it if they had
- 14:57Speaker 1: showed more of him earlier on. I mean, there's got
- 14:59Speaker 1: to be some reason they're going for this guy. But
- 15:01Speaker 1: at the same time, isn't it alarming that, like we
- 15:06Speaker 1: apparently saw the highlight reel of this guy, right, there's
- 15:10Speaker 1: nothing else to show? Yeah, like, if they've been they've
- 15:12Speaker 1: had so much opportunity to show his shining moments, and
- 15:17Speaker 1: apparently we saw shining moments and there was nothing shiny
- 15:20Speaker 1: about it. Poor guy. I mean, I guess maybe they're
- 15:24Speaker 1: just thinking, like, yeah, we have like this cookie cutter
- 15:27Speaker 1: Bachelor of like Brad Walmack past, and we'll let the
- 15:33Speaker 1: ladies take the lead and make the season. But I
- 15:35Speaker 1: think it's gonna be really, really hard to get Bachelor
- 15:39Speaker 1: Nation on board with this guy because there's just we
- 15:43Speaker 1: have no connection, no reason to really root for him.
- 15:48Speaker 1: If it weren't for this podcast, I can't imagine me
- 15:52Speaker 1: being like, oh yeah, I can't wait to tune in
- 15:55Speaker 1: to see this guy fall in love. Am I being
- 15:58Speaker 1: too honest? There's no such thing? Uh, yeah, I don't know.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I mean, do you have a hypothesis the sister why
- 16:05Speaker 1: they chose him? I mean, there was two seasons of
- 16:08Speaker 1: men to pick from, right, Peter Webber and I came
- 16:11Speaker 1: up with the only thing I could think of as
- 16:14Speaker 1: far as just selecting from this season, it was maybe
- 16:18Speaker 1: if they picked one of the top four guys, they
- 16:21Speaker 1: would think that they were like spoiling this season too much,
- 16:24Speaker 1: because then we wouldn't have a guy that we just
- 16:27Speaker 1: because you know, we saw that Clayton became the Bachelor,
- 16:30Speaker 1: like what two months ago, We've known this, So like
- 16:34Speaker 1: maybe they didn't want it to be one of the
- 16:36Speaker 1: top four guys because then it would just kind of
- 16:38Speaker 1: ruin all the speculation as to who she ends up
- 16:41Speaker 1: with once it got down to the nitty grittia her season. Yeah,
- 16:45Speaker 1: I guess, but they do they keep doing that with
- 16:48Speaker 1: Rachel Lindsay. Yeah, I'm saying it's not a good enough excuse,
- 16:52Speaker 1: certainly not good enough. If anything, they could have done
- 16:56Speaker 1: like a just a stunt casting, like let's just get
- 16:59Speaker 1: a celebrity on there. There's a lot of celebrities that,
- 17:04Speaker 1: you know, like even like a Dancing with the Stars
- 17:06Speaker 1: roll over, somebody who's like one have been prominent on
- 17:10Speaker 1: that that we could like steal over from the Bachelor.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I don't know even someone from Paradise. I don't know
- 17:16Speaker 1: just any right. I mean, I thought they're gonna go
- 17:18Speaker 1: with Greg for a while, That's what Steve was saying.
- 17:21Speaker 1: But I mean that would have been risky. But I
- 17:23Speaker 1: still would have been a fan of that decision. But
- 17:26Speaker 1: at least it's more gripping than than this one. Exactly.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I was trying to make up on there. All right,
- 17:36Speaker 1: Well enough crapping on Clayton. Let's move into this week's
- 17:40Speaker 1: group date. Alright, So the remaining guys are on this one.
- 17:45Speaker 1: We find out that Brandon is going to get his
- 17:48Speaker 1: one on one, So we have Rick, Rodney, Joe, Nate, Martin,
- 17:55Speaker 1: and Oh Lou on this one. Cute that they have
- 17:59Speaker 1: to go to a go to a farm and milk
- 18:02Speaker 1: the cows. It's fun to see the guys like getting
- 18:05Speaker 1: their hands dirty and stuff like that. Any thoughts on
- 18:07Speaker 1: that portion of the date just very very very standard
- 18:12Speaker 1: wrestler um. The nighttime portion is when it gets it
- 18:18Speaker 1: gets interesting, mostly because of this Martin thing. So she
- 18:23Speaker 1: first she sits down with Martin and well, actually I
- 18:28Speaker 1: don't know what happened. First she either sits down with
- 18:30Speaker 1: Martin and it goes just swimmingly, which is and then
- 18:34Speaker 1: absolutely yeah, And then oh Lou comes in afterwards and says, like,
- 18:37Speaker 1: this is what Martin has been saying behind your back.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Um oh Lou says he's been calling her immature, says
- 18:47Speaker 1: that she hasn't like faced issues from her past based
- 18:51Speaker 1: on her poem that she read, you know, a couple
- 18:54Speaker 1: of weeks ago. And then he also just kind of
- 18:58Speaker 1: said he kind of alludes to the fact that there
- 19:01Speaker 1: was like a missing communication last week and maybe there's
- 19:04Speaker 1: even a miscommunication the week before last as well between
- 19:08Speaker 1: the two of them, and he says something about her
- 19:11Speaker 1: just not listening. So like that was what I really
- 19:14Speaker 1: gathered from that conversation amongst them, was that she wasn't
- 19:18Speaker 1: listening um to him. But that is that's not the
- 19:22Speaker 1: issue that Ohlu brought brought to Michelle. He said he
- 19:26Speaker 1: could focus more on the immature thing and the fact
- 19:29Speaker 1: that she hasn't um faced issues of her past. Um
- 19:34Speaker 1: Ohlu obviously has been somebody who has proven to be trustworthy.
- 19:39Speaker 1: And once she hears this from him, she brings Martin
- 19:42Speaker 1: back In and and how did you feel about how
- 19:46Speaker 1: this went down? I mean, the problem is is that
- 19:49Speaker 1: he's so abrasive and uh, just doesn't I mean, the
- 19:56Speaker 1: way he reacted in a limo was so immature that
- 19:58Speaker 1: was like kind of cast a shadow back on what
- 20:01Speaker 1: was going on in the conversation. I can this happens
- 20:04Speaker 1: all the time. Like I can totally see how he
- 20:06Speaker 1: could have actually said she has insecurities from her past
- 20:10Speaker 1: and that was like a normal thing to say because
- 20:12Speaker 1: everyone does, and maybe he was commenting on that in
- 20:15Speaker 1: some way, and then all of a sudden he's confronted
- 20:17Speaker 1: with this like misinterpretation of that, if it indeed was,
- 20:21Speaker 1: and I can see how like he would feel cornered
- 20:24Speaker 1: and frustrated and want to get his point out and
- 20:26Speaker 1: not feel like he can. But he was just such
- 20:30Speaker 1: an asshole that it's like, I don't even kind of
- 20:34Speaker 1: care what his perspective is here. His overall vibe is
- 20:39Speaker 1: just it just hasn't been good for me, and he
- 20:45Speaker 1: is about he is not the finest communicator. And then yes,
- 20:50Speaker 1: to top it off, what he says in the car
- 20:52Speaker 1: about him never wanting to have been with her after
- 20:57Speaker 1: something like that, that was just kind of like gross.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I didn't mind him the first like one on one
- 21:02Speaker 1: date they had. I thought he was again kind of
- 21:04Speaker 1: harsh and abrasive, but like, I didn't think he was
- 21:07Speaker 1: making bad points. I enjoyed that they talked about like
- 21:10Speaker 1: their perspectives for ones and like they're different ways of communicating.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Like I thought that was a cool change for the Bachelor,
- 21:17Speaker 1: which usually is just about like, here's my trauma story.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Do you accept it? Yes, okay, move on? But yeah,
- 21:24Speaker 1: he's not. He would he would he lived up to
- 21:27Speaker 1: his stuci hairdube. I think, there we go, and that's
- 21:31Speaker 1: how will end speaking about Martin. One on one day
- 21:35Speaker 1: between Michelle and Brandon and Brandon, um, it's just like
- 21:41Speaker 1: a hometown spot date. So they go to her favorite
- 21:44Speaker 1: ice cream place. Then she keeps saying that she can
- 21:47Speaker 1: see him being her best friend. They go to the
- 21:50Speaker 1: parents house and like this is another super stagy moment
- 21:56Speaker 1: where it's like, yeah, my parents are at home, do
- 21:58Speaker 1: you want to see you around? And then they're in
- 22:00Speaker 1: the hot tub making out. When her parents come home,
- 22:03Speaker 1: it's like, okay, dude, you've got to know that Michelle
- 22:06Speaker 1: knew her parents were going to come home. I would think, so.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I did still think it was I thought it was
- 22:11Speaker 1: like cheeky enough that I didn't mind the like clear
- 22:14Speaker 1: production interference. Okay, okay, it was Yeah. So he ends
- 22:19Speaker 1: up sitting down with her parents and there's just like
- 22:25Speaker 1: something about Brendan that feels like the high school boyfriend
- 22:29Speaker 1: to me, like that she's giddy over and he just
- 22:33Speaker 1: feels young. He's very sweet, but there is just something
- 22:39Speaker 1: missing for me. But I don't think it's actually missing
- 22:43Speaker 1: for Michelle. So I need to speak on behalf of
- 22:45Speaker 1: Michelle who seems to be like absolutely swooned, totally smitten
- 22:50Speaker 1: with him. Um. When they sit down at dinner and
- 22:53Speaker 1: he says that I feel like I'm falling in love
- 22:55Speaker 1: with you, like she says, my heart is beating so rapidly,
- 22:59Speaker 1: like you canmost feel like she wants to say it
- 23:01Speaker 1: back to him. There's the whole best friend thing again,
- 23:04Speaker 1: and that's how what she really really wants in a relationship.
- 23:07Speaker 1: And he even goes as far as you ask the
- 23:10Speaker 1: parents for permission if it is him in the end,
- 23:14Speaker 1: permission for you know, to get down on one day. Um,
- 23:18Speaker 1: And the mom is like, yeah, he's very sweet, I
- 23:21Speaker 1: like him, and then the dad like do the Dad's
- 23:23Speaker 1: like it doesn't have anything to say, and I feel
- 23:27Speaker 1: like that's how I would have nothing, because I felt
- 23:30Speaker 1: like the dad in that moment where it was like
- 23:32Speaker 1: I just sorry, I don't have enough to go on
- 23:35Speaker 1: right now. What are you? What's your take on this? No,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I totally agree. I thought it was a really sweet day.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I really liked him, and I'm like, he has ten
- 23:42Speaker 1: years out from being married. Yeah, I don't know what
- 23:47Speaker 1: it is about him that makes me feel this because
- 23:50Speaker 1: he is like such a nice guy. He's really done
- 23:52Speaker 1: nothing wrong. But like, just be totally in awe of her,
- 23:56Speaker 1: right I honestly I'm kind of worried about her because
- 23:58Speaker 1: I get the same vibs from eight kind of similar,
- 24:01Speaker 1: you know, right on hither one on one day, she
- 24:04Speaker 1: was like, you know, she asked me about his previous
- 24:06Speaker 1: relationships and he was like, well, I had one relationship
- 24:10Speaker 1: where I couldn't be a big kid anymore. And I
- 24:11Speaker 1: was like, oh no, So it just kind of reminds
- 24:14Speaker 1: me a little bit of this. Oh and then this
- 24:17Speaker 1: this episode we find out that Nate just he has
- 24:20Speaker 1: never brought a girl home, which you know, I don't
- 24:23Speaker 1: want to fault them for that, Like I wasn't and
- 24:26Speaker 1: I had never brought in a guy, brought a guy home. Um,
- 24:30Speaker 1: when I ended up being with Jared, who I met
- 24:34Speaker 1: on the show, So I can't really fault them for that,
- 24:37Speaker 1: but there is a lot of inexperience when it comes
- 24:40Speaker 1: to these guys. I feel, Yeah, and she's already at
- 24:43Speaker 1: risk for that because she's already said she's somebody who
- 24:45Speaker 1: just gives everything to the point of almost needing a
- 24:47Speaker 1: feeding tube. By the way, she said in a episode,
- 24:51Speaker 1: I'm like, I kind of need this woman to marry
- 24:53Speaker 1: an adult male. You know, it's actually gonna like pour
- 24:56Speaker 1: himself into the relationship. So, yeah, he seems Brandon seems
- 25:01Speaker 1: like really young. He looks really young. He says kind
- 25:04Speaker 1: of cliche things about love. Um, he's doe eyed. I mean,
- 25:09Speaker 1: is he's super sweet but totally totally okay good because
- 25:13Speaker 1: it's like, no hate Brandon Brandon. But like, but I
- 25:17Speaker 1: don't I don't see this being the longest term thing, Okay. Um,
- 25:24Speaker 1: then we get to the the Rose ceremony. There's no
- 25:27Speaker 1: cocktail party. She knows what she's doing. I think we
- 25:29Speaker 1: all kind of know what she's doing. Um, Ronnie is,
- 25:34Speaker 1: to me, in my head, the obvious guy who will
- 25:36Speaker 1: not be making the top three. He is the guy
- 25:39Speaker 1: who was definitely making who was going to make the
- 25:42Speaker 1: top four, but definitely the weak link there. And then
- 25:46Speaker 1: Rick and Ohlu just to me, we're the obvious sent homes.
- 25:50Speaker 1: What about you? Yeah, well, I don't know. I was
- 25:53Speaker 1: between Rick and Ronnie about that's respectable. But I mean
- 25:57Speaker 1: who used his his time with her speak to talk
- 26:00Speaker 1: about Martin? So it's almost like he knew he was
- 26:03Speaker 1: heading out. I don't know. Yeah, no, I agree that
- 26:09Speaker 1: all right. Well, in the sneak peek, we see a
- 26:11Speaker 1: lot of dads, but the one dad is still the
- 26:15Speaker 1: standout from last week, which is the dad who says no,
- 26:18Speaker 1: he's not ready to get caged. And now that I
- 26:22Speaker 1: analyze this man's face a little bit more, I okay,
- 26:26Speaker 1: I'm going to first ask you whose dad you think
- 26:28Speaker 1: that is. Oh I thought you were going to be like,
- 26:31Speaker 1: maybe he was saying he's not ready for dinner or something,
- 26:33Speaker 1: because they could reconnect that, Um, Nate, I think it's Joe's.
- 26:42Speaker 1: So now I feel like, so, now I feel like
- 26:45Speaker 1: you and I have both established that Nate, Nate and
- 26:49Speaker 1: Brandon not ready for marriage. But now we have a
- 26:53Speaker 1: third and it's the other third guy that she likes
- 26:56Speaker 1: the most. Of course, Rodney is probably the one that's
- 26:58Speaker 1: actually ready for marriage. Yeah, I'm worried about Michelle. She's
- 27:02Speaker 1: so she's one of my favorite leads so far. She's
- 27:04Speaker 1: doing wonderful. Like she just kind of like thirty enough,
- 27:10Speaker 1: that would be a good start, Like I hopefully like
- 27:12Speaker 1: thirty two, thirty three years old, en up for the
- 27:15Speaker 1: then randoms only twenty six. Okay, so he actually is young.
- 27:19Speaker 1: He's actually young. Its fault. I mean I was twenty
- 27:25Speaker 1: six at the beginning of this journey, but I and
- 27:29Speaker 1: you were young too, were you. We're both twenty six? Okay, yeah,
- 27:33Speaker 1: but then look like I didn't get married until thirty one,
- 27:36Speaker 1: and you're not getting married until you're thirty three. No,
- 27:39Speaker 1: I'm thirty. Okay, I'm not doing the math right because
- 27:43Speaker 1: our season was like three years after mine. Well, now
- 27:46Speaker 1: there's so many it just feels like it feels like
- 27:48Speaker 1: our season it's like ten years ago. There's like a
- 27:51Speaker 1: million season a year. Yeah. I don't think I was
- 27:53Speaker 1: reading until this year, and men need an extra five
- 27:56Speaker 1: years to bake. Usually I could say, probably, all right, well,
- 28:01Speaker 1: do you have any more thoughts, who do you see
- 28:03Speaker 1: ending up with her ending up with at the end
- 28:05Speaker 1: of this an, I'm spoiled, so you are, okay, don't
- 28:09Speaker 1: spoil me? Okay, Well, thank you so much Jacqueline for
- 28:14Speaker 1: joining us, and if you guys want more of Jacqueline's
- 28:17Speaker 1: um thoughts on like really life. Right, you have a
- 28:20Speaker 1: podcast and it's not just about Bachelor You've had a
- 28:22Speaker 1: Bachelor podcast before, but now what are you talking about
- 28:25Speaker 1: on your podcast? A Little Help for Our Friends? Yeah,
- 28:29Speaker 1: so A Little Help for Our Friends is a mental
- 28:30Speaker 1: health podcast. So we've had a couple of Bachelor Nation
- 28:33Speaker 1: people on, but it's to talk about mental health related topics.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So like we had that Clark talk about addiction. Um.
- 28:40Speaker 1: We had Ben Higgins come on actually and talk about
- 28:43Speaker 1: his book and loneliness. Um. But really our focus is
- 28:47Speaker 1: on how mental health is like a system wide problem.
- 28:49Speaker 1: So it's not just the person experiencing um A disorder,
- 28:53Speaker 1: it's their friends and family and what they go through
- 28:55Speaker 1: and how they try to help and that can be
- 28:57Speaker 1: really frustrating and lonely experience. So um, that's why it's
- 29:01Speaker 1: caulled A Little Help for Our Friends. It's how can
- 29:02Speaker 1: you help your friends? Who are struggling. And before we
- 29:06Speaker 1: let you go, what is one bit of like huge advice,
- 29:12Speaker 1: like just the advice that you would give to the
- 29:16Speaker 1: general public. If your friends, UM are going through a
- 29:20Speaker 1: bad time, UM, definitely to validate. And that doesn't mean
- 29:24Speaker 1: that you agree with them. It can be you can
- 29:26Speaker 1: totally disagree with somebody and still validate how they're feeling
- 29:29Speaker 1: because you're not validating the facts of the situation. You know,
- 29:32Speaker 1: if they say my life is terrible, I hate everything,
- 29:34Speaker 1: you're not saying, yeah, your life is terrible. It's it
- 29:38Speaker 1: must be so hard to to go through your life
- 29:40Speaker 1: feeling that way. You must be going through so much
- 29:43Speaker 1: to feel that way, because a lot of the times
- 29:45Speaker 1: when we try to go in and fix or problem
- 29:47Speaker 1: solve and usually what people want to feel is heard
- 29:51Speaker 1: and like they're met um. And so just starting with
- 29:54Speaker 1: that and really listening can take you very far. All Right,
- 29:58Speaker 1: that's fantastic advice. Thank you so much, and thank you
- 30:01Speaker 1: for being here today. It was very fun to bring
- 30:04Speaker 1: it down with you. Absolutely. Thanks all right, Jacqueline, bye bye. Alright,
- 30:11Speaker 1: we had to let Jacqueline go, but we have bachelor
- 30:16Speaker 1: headlines for you guys, and oh MG, are they juicy?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Let's start with this one US Weekly headline Michelle Young.
- 30:24Speaker 1: She says I ended up in a situation I didn't
- 30:27Speaker 1: expect on The Bachelor at all. Right, so here's the quote.
- 30:31Speaker 1: She said, I had no idea I would be in
- 30:34Speaker 1: the position that I was in at the end of
- 30:37Speaker 1: the season. The ending is something that I didn't necessarily expect,
- 30:43Speaker 1: something that I didn't think was possible for me. I'm
- 30:46Speaker 1: excited for everyone to kind of see what it entails,
- 30:49Speaker 1: because I think a lot of assumptions are being made,
- 30:53Speaker 1: you know, of either who I end up with or
- 30:57Speaker 1: if I end up with anyone, And when it comes
- 30:59Speaker 1: down to it, I came into this knowing that I
- 31:03Speaker 1: was going to stay true to who I was, and
- 31:05Speaker 1: that means staying true to what your feelings are and
- 31:09Speaker 1: talking about where you're at with your feelings. I'm a
- 31:13Speaker 1: person who typically embraces opportunities as they come, and I
- 31:19Speaker 1: can't pinpoint whether or not I'm going to be in Minnesota,
- 31:25Speaker 1: you know, next year or the year after that. I
- 31:28Speaker 1: fully plan to finish out the school year, but I
- 31:31Speaker 1: don't know what opportunities are going to come my way,
- 31:34Speaker 1: whether there's somebody I'm involved, whether there's somebody involved in
- 31:40Speaker 1: my life, whether there's not, that always would be a
- 31:44Speaker 1: team decision. So I can't say that, yes, I'm going
- 31:49Speaker 1: to stay in Minnesota for the rest of my life.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I can say that I'm open to all opportunities. I'll
- 31:55Speaker 1: take them in, I'll make decisions as I go, and
- 31:59Speaker 1: I'll make sure that I'm happy with the work I'm doing.
- 32:04Speaker 1: All right, m hm. To analyze this on my own,
- 32:12Speaker 1: it sounds as if Michelle is not necessarily staying in Minnesota,
- 32:17Speaker 1: which I feel in my bones would eliminate Joe as
- 32:21Speaker 1: being the guy that she ends up with, right because
- 32:23Speaker 1: if she were to end up with Joe, they would
- 32:26Speaker 1: definitely be settling in Minnesota. And I wonder what opportunity
- 32:31Speaker 1: she's speaking of, because I thought I always kind of
- 32:33Speaker 1: thought that she would want to stick with teaching, But
- 32:35Speaker 1: maybe she'll want to do other things and then come
- 32:39Speaker 1: back to teaching down the road. All right, Well, a
- 32:41Speaker 1: lot to analyze there, because she says, when whether I'm
- 32:44Speaker 1: with somebody or whether I'm not with somebody, I guess
- 32:47Speaker 1: that's kind of standard to like keep it open ended
- 32:52Speaker 1: like that, but she says it's so many times. Now
- 32:56Speaker 1: I'm thinking, like, does she not end up with anybody?
- 33:00Speaker 1: I really truly don't know the ending of this, and
- 33:02Speaker 1: I'm very excited that I think Ben and I are
- 33:04Speaker 1: in like the third or fourth season where I don't
- 33:08Speaker 1: know any spoilers. I don't even have to pretend with
- 33:11Speaker 1: you guys or try to lead you astray, like I
- 33:14Speaker 1: truly don't know what happens at the end of this, So,
- 33:18Speaker 1: oh my goodness, gracious this the next headline is the
- 33:21Speaker 1: saddest headline I think I've read on this podcast as
- 33:26Speaker 1: far as relationships go. In a while, Tassia Adams and
- 33:31Speaker 1: Zach Clark split. They called up their relationship nearly one
- 33:34Speaker 1: year after their finale aired. US Weekly can confirm the
- 33:39Speaker 1: Tasia Adams and Zach Clark are no longer a couple.
- 33:42Speaker 1: The news comes three days after Life and Style reported
- 33:45Speaker 1: that they were on a break, which was which was
- 33:47Speaker 1: something I was really really hoping was true. It's like, oh,
- 33:50Speaker 1: a break. You know, we can get over a break,
- 33:53Speaker 1: but no. People Magazine and US Weekly both reported yesterday
- 33:57Speaker 1: that they are officially split. I don't think that either
- 34:02Speaker 1: one of them addressed it on their instagrams yet. Um
- 34:06Speaker 1: so we'll see, but this comes on the heels of
- 34:08Speaker 1: them running the New York City Marathon together on November seven.
- 34:13Speaker 1: We don't have any quotes from the couple or anything
- 34:17Speaker 1: like that, but I'm sad because I think you guys
- 34:22Speaker 1: know that over the past couple of years, Zack and
- 34:26Speaker 1: Zack and Tasia were like the couple that had that
- 34:30Speaker 1: final moment, you know, that engagement moment that made me
- 34:33Speaker 1: feel all the fields. It made me feel like it
- 34:37Speaker 1: was like old school bachelor, where like this was just
- 34:40Speaker 1: like intense, passionate love. And the way that Tastia said
- 34:45Speaker 1: that like she had never felt a love like this before,
- 34:49Speaker 1: like maybe she had never been truly in love before.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, there's so much in that engagement moment
- 34:55Speaker 1: and just all the moments leading up to their engagement.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I just I really really felt that couple, And this
- 35:00Speaker 1: is very sad. Um So we wish, we wish them
- 35:03Speaker 1: nothing but the best going forward, and uh, you know,
- 35:07Speaker 1: give them their privacy. Guys, don't be writing crazy things
- 35:13Speaker 1: on their instagrams when they do end up announcing on Instagram. Alright,
- 35:17Speaker 1: Hannah Brown, Wow, she also made some serious headlines this week.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Uh it's unfortunate that she made these headlines just the
- 35:25Speaker 1: day after we had Peter Webber on the podcast, because
- 35:29Speaker 1: she came out about the fact that the two of
- 35:32Speaker 1: them slept together in the midst of his season airing.
- 35:38Speaker 1: As far as the details go, he had he had
- 35:40Speaker 1: dumped or he had I guess, yeah, I guess he
- 35:43Speaker 1: dumped um Hannah Ann. And after that he ran into
- 35:48Speaker 1: Hannah at an event, and then it led to her
- 35:50Speaker 1: just visiting with him and his family at you know,
- 35:53Speaker 1: the family house outside l A and uh, they had
- 35:58Speaker 1: sex one night and woke up and had breakfast with
- 36:01Speaker 1: the family. Immediately, she felt a little off about it,
- 36:05Speaker 1: but she reveals it in her book and it it's
- 36:09Speaker 1: been juicy. And then there's another there there's another headline,
- 36:13Speaker 1: and this is that she hasn't spoken to Tyler Cameron
- 36:15Speaker 1: pretty much anymore. And it's so wild how we all
- 36:19Speaker 1: interpreted her hangouts with Tyler at the what is the
- 36:24Speaker 1: quarantine crew house. We were thinking, you know, oh, this
- 36:28Speaker 1: is totally romantic, They're totally hooking up, blah blah blah.
- 36:33Speaker 1: But that was not the way it went at all,
- 36:35Speaker 1: And she details it all in her new book. God
- 36:38Speaker 1: bless this Mess, in which she tells everyone that they
- 36:44Speaker 1: didn't even kiss while they were there. She was, you know,
- 36:49Speaker 1: kind of like recovering. She was dealing with getting over
- 36:52Speaker 1: her brother's overdose, that Tyler was getting over the loss
- 36:57Speaker 1: of his mother, and they she said she was stuck
- 37:01Speaker 1: in a house of yucky boys when when COVID really
- 37:05Speaker 1: hit and she was truly just stuck at that house
- 37:08Speaker 1: until she was able to safely leave. Um. But this
- 37:12Speaker 1: is also on the heels of his relate, like Tyler's
- 37:18Speaker 1: relationship with Gigi. So if you remember this is the
- 37:21Speaker 1: timeline of Hannah and and Tyler, she ends up with Jed,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and then on after the Final Rose, when it's announced
- 37:28Speaker 1: that she's no longer with Jed, she kind of asked
- 37:31Speaker 1: Tyler out right, and then they go out, they're spotted.
- 37:35Speaker 1: She thought it was the beginning of something. But just
- 37:39Speaker 1: a day or two after Tyler was spotted with Gigi
- 37:44Speaker 1: hadid in New York. And she says in the new book,
- 37:47Speaker 1: God Bless This Mess, that she was deeply hurt by
- 37:49Speaker 1: how he handled the situation. Um, they weren't they weren't
- 37:56Speaker 1: really open with each other, you know, he didn't really
- 37:59Speaker 1: explain Lane that he was going to go on and
- 38:02Speaker 1: data supermodel and all that. So six months after that,
- 38:07Speaker 1: the two of them reconnected at the loss of his
- 38:11Speaker 1: mom and the overdose of her brother, which was just
- 38:14Speaker 1: around the beginning of COVID, and that's how she ended
- 38:17Speaker 1: up in the quarantine house. And even then there was
- 38:22Speaker 1: no real romance sparked. Okay, Hannah, I'm sure details all
- 38:27Speaker 1: of this in a podcast that we are releasing today
- 38:31Speaker 1: with um Wells Atoms. He has filled in for Ben
- 38:36Speaker 1: and I and interviewed Hannah all about the juicy things
- 38:40Speaker 1: in her book. So make sure that you look out
- 38:43Speaker 1: for that special edition of the Almost Amos podcast. Oh wait,
- 38:48Speaker 1: we can't move on from Hannah Brown and her book yet,
- 38:52Speaker 1: because now we have a quote from Peter Weber addressing
- 38:55Speaker 1: the fact that she came out about the secret hook up.
- 38:58Speaker 1: He said this week, according to to fab I thought
- 39:03Speaker 1: we were just going to keep it private, but I
- 39:06Speaker 1: guess that wasn't the case. And I'm totally okay with it.
- 39:10Speaker 1: It's all good. I don't mind any of this. We
- 39:12Speaker 1: spent the night together. That was it. That was the
- 39:16Speaker 1: last time that I saw her physically. All right, Well,
- 39:20Speaker 1: that's very very nice. Of him to be so understanding
- 39:24Speaker 1: of of what she reveals in the book. All Right
- 39:28Speaker 1: and other bachelor news, asterid Lock and Kevin went welcome
- 39:32Speaker 1: their first child after an IVF journey. She was actually
- 39:37Speaker 1: we don't know if she or he. They have not
- 39:39Speaker 1: revealed a gender yet. Um. The baby was born on
- 39:43Speaker 1: November at two oh two am, and and Kevin said
- 39:49Speaker 1: that Astroid made his dreams come true. She is my
- 39:51Speaker 1: absolute hero over everything she went through in the last
- 39:53Speaker 1: two days of the at the hospital, in the last
- 39:57Speaker 1: two years of doing everything it took to get this
- 40:00Speaker 1: perfect munchkin into the went gang. Um. We do not
- 40:05Speaker 1: have pictures of the baby's face or or the gender,
- 40:10Speaker 1: so we'll see if that comes up. But congratulations to
- 40:14Speaker 1: the couple. I'm very happy for them. That is awesome.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Glad that mama and baby are both very happy and healthy.
- 40:22Speaker 1: And then you guys, drama in Katie Thurston's world. So
- 40:29Speaker 1: she does this thing where she like, I'm a little
- 40:33Speaker 1: confused by this, Okay, I have to be honest, Like
- 40:36Speaker 1: I skimmed some of this stuff on Instagram. She ended
- 40:40Speaker 1: up doing something to Taylor Swift's Red album where like
- 40:44Speaker 1: every day she compared like a contestant or an X
- 40:49Speaker 1: you know, a contestant from her season or an X
- 40:52Speaker 1: two her life. She called it the twelve Days of
- 40:56Speaker 1: Messy Challenge. And at the end of this shed she
- 41:03Speaker 1: kind of reveals that she's with this guy John, who
- 41:08Speaker 1: I believe she eliminated week three of her season. Um,
- 41:14Speaker 1: she refers to her relationship with Blake Moyne's who she
- 41:18Speaker 1: just you know, announced her breakup with in October. That
- 41:23Speaker 1: was we are never getting back together. Supposedly that was
- 41:28Speaker 1: That's the song that she's referencing him. And then begin
- 41:33Speaker 1: again she assigns to this guy John, which we can
- 41:38Speaker 1: only imagine means that she's beginning a romantic life again
- 41:44Speaker 1: with this guy John so wild, like I mind blown.
- 41:49Speaker 1: It raises a whole bunch of questions, like was her
- 41:53Speaker 1: friendship with John like too intense for Blake to stick around? Um?
- 41:59Speaker 1: Was her feelings for this guy John the reason that
- 42:02Speaker 1: she broke up with Blake? Like? I hope all this
- 42:04Speaker 1: comes out, I mean, if she would, She's she's gonna
- 42:07Speaker 1: follow Taylor Swift's lead here. She's got to give us
- 42:11Speaker 1: some sort of hint to it, right, because Taylor may
- 42:14Speaker 1: not say everything Verbatia. But she she leads us in
- 42:18Speaker 1: a certain direction, alright, So Katie Thurston, give us more
- 42:24Speaker 1: hints at what actually went on between this Blake John
- 42:29Speaker 1: Love triangle. Okay. And lastly, Brendan Morris and Piper updated
- 42:36Speaker 1: fans on their relationship. If you guys remember, I guess
- 42:39Speaker 1: like a month or two ago, they said that they
- 42:41Speaker 1: had gone their separate ways, but in a new Instagram post,
- 42:45Speaker 1: it seems as if the two have reunited. The past
- 42:48Speaker 1: few months have been interesting, to say the least, Brendan
- 42:51Speaker 1: says on Instagram, A love forming between two people in
- 42:55Speaker 1: the midst of Mayhem is certainly a unique way to
- 42:58Speaker 1: begin a relationship. We've had our ups and downs, our
- 43:01Speaker 1: peaks and valleys, but what has prevailed is a special
- 43:04Speaker 1: bond through God's grace and love. I remain thankful, looking
- 43:10Speaker 1: forward to growing together and the lessons and love will
- 43:14Speaker 1: experience along the way. Piper also took to Instagram to
- 43:19Speaker 1: say love is patient and kind. Thankful for you Brendan.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Every day I look forward to growing and learning more
- 43:26Speaker 1: and more together. Well, you know what, guys, if this
- 43:29Speaker 1: is true love, we can't be mad at anymore? Right,
- 43:32Speaker 1: And it's happening not on TV, so again, can't be
