- 0:00Welcome to the podcast. Today, we're looking
- 0:01at the most important outcomes from the latest
- 0:03strategic workshop between Dubai Electricity
- 0:05and Water Authority and Siemens Energy. This
- 0:08was a benchmarking workshop with a very clear
- 0:10purpose. Exchange best practice, accelerate innovation,
- 0:14and push digital transformation and continuous
- 0:17improvement across critical functions. And the
- 0:20main themes were highly practical, employee and
- 0:22customer happiness, sustainability, procurement,
- 0:25health and safety, and stronger operational performance.
- 0:28One of the biggest takeaways was the way Dubai
- 0:30Electricity and Water Authority is linking culture
- 0:33and technology. The organization highlighted
- 0:36its focus on employee happiness through well
- 0:39-being and engagement programs, showing that
- 0:41people remain central to performance. At the
- 0:44same time, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority
- 0:47presented an advanced digital ecosystem that
- 0:49uses artificial intelligence to improve customer
- 0:52experience, raise operational efficiency, and
- 0:54support data -driven decisions. That matters
- 0:57because artificial intelligence is being used
- 0:59in a real operational setting, not just as a
- 1:02future ambition. It is already helping across
- 1:05customer services, supplier services, and internal
- 1:08corporate operations. One figure stood out immediately.
- 1:12Dubai Electricity and Water Authority reported
- 1:15a score of 98 .9 % on the Dubai Government Instant
- 1:18Happiness Index, measured by the Dubai Digital
- 1:21Authority. That number is important because it
- 1:24shows measurable impact. It suggests that digital
- 1:27transformation and service improvement are producing
- 1:30visible results for customers. The workshop also
- 1:33highlighted sustainability. Dubai Electricity
- 1:35and Water Authority pointed to major initiatives,
- 1:38infrastructure projects, and energy efficiency
- 1:40programs that support a cleaner and more resilient
- 1:43energy future. Siemens Energy shared a similar
- 1:45message from its side. The company presented
- 1:48a corporate culture built on effective leadership,
- 1:51transparency, and talent empowerment. It also
- 1:54showcased advanced uses of artificial intelligence
- 1:56in procurement, quality, health and safety, and
- 1:59customer experience management. So, both sides
- 2:02are clearly using technology to strengthen operational
- 2:04excellence. Another key point is the long -term
- 2:07strategic value of this partnership. Both organizations
- 2:11reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the
- 2:13transformation of the energy sector in the United
- 2:16Arab Emirates. And that commitment is closely
- 2:18linked to two major long -range goals. the Dubai
- 2:22Clean Energy Strategy 2050, and the Dubai Net
- 2:25Zero Carbon Emission Strategy 2050. In simple
- 2:29terms, this workshop connected day -to -day operational
- 2:32improvement with a bigger regional vision. Cleaner
- 2:36energy, smarter systems, and stronger sustainability
- 2:39performance. The final message is clear. Dubai
- 2:43Electricity and Water Authority and Siemens Energy
- 2:45are not just discussing innovation. They are
- 2:48building practical systems. And that is what
- 2:57makes this partnership important. It combines
- 3:00measurable service outcomes, institutional learning,
- 3:03and a long -term roadmap for the future of energy.
- 3:07Thanks for listening. We'll see you next time.
