- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from ther lifeback studios. Mark zimon.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey coming up, Jimmy Faylor will be with us a
- 0:11Speaker 2: little later this hour. We'll get to SpaceX. That's going
- 0:14Speaker 2: to be a big deal tomorrow. And I'm watching. We
- 0:20Speaker 2: have all the networks on all the different screens here,
- 0:23Speaker 2: MS NOW, MSNBC. This is the whole first twenty minutes
- 0:28Speaker 2: of every hour. Trump says he loves inflation. I love inflation,
- 0:32Speaker 2: says Trump. This is what they This is what they
- 0:36Speaker 2: do to their audience. Now they start this and the
- 0:39Speaker 2: whole left wing starts. He said he loves inflation. Remember
- 0:44Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago, he said I never think
- 0:46Speaker 2: about the economy, and they kept quoting him. Trump said
- 0:51Speaker 2: he never thinks about the economy. He couldn't care less
- 0:53Speaker 2: about the economy. That's not what he said at all.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Way back then. This is a few weeks ago. They
- 0:58Speaker 2: were asking about aram a threat of nuclear weapons. If
- 1:02Speaker 2: you go try to take out their nuclear weapons, what
- 1:05Speaker 2: you know it could cause the economy, And he said,
- 1:09Speaker 2: I never think about the economy. When it comes to
- 1:11Speaker 2: national security, when it comes to the threat against America,
- 1:15Speaker 2: when it comes to our safety, I don't think about
- 1:17Speaker 2: the economy. In other words, if if I have to
- 1:19Speaker 2: do something to save the country, if I have to
- 1:21Speaker 2: do something for national security, I don't consider the politics
- 1:24Speaker 2: or the economy. So the new one today he said,
- 1:29Speaker 2: I love inflation. He loves inflation. That's not it. You're
- 1:34Speaker 2: taken that out of context. Let me see if I
- 1:36Speaker 2: can find the actual Uh. Oh, I had it here somewhere.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I don't know where it is. Uh, I'll find it.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I'll find it. Hang on, hang on, I think is
- 1:46Speaker 2: this it? Yeah? Do you know we've been taking No.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Let me see if this is it.
- 1:51Speaker 3: We hit them hard yesterday and we're going to hit
- 1:54Speaker 3: them again hard today. In case you had Misif case
- 1:57Speaker 3: you don't turn on your television set and I that's
- 2:00Speaker 3: not it.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Maybe it's this one where reporter asking about inflation.
- 2:03Speaker 3: To Secure America Act provide thirty eight billion dollars to
- 2:06Speaker 3: ice twenty six million dollars to border patrol to ensure
- 2:10Speaker 3: these critical law enforcement agencies of the necessary resources to
- 2:14Speaker 3: do their jobs protecting our borders and getting criminal aliens
- 2:17Speaker 3: out of the country. And starting on day one of
- 2:20Speaker 3: my administration, we took the most dangerous, unsaved violence and
- 2:25Speaker 3: open border people out of this country.
- 2:27Speaker 2: We got them out. Yeah, no, that's not it. But
- 2:30Speaker 2: that's a good thing that he just to know. I
- 2:32Speaker 2: can't find it. But he said, I love inflation right
- 2:35Speaker 2: now because it's going to come crashing down as soon
- 2:38Speaker 2: as the Iran war is over. As soon as it's over,
- 2:40Speaker 2: it'll come right down. It's actually not it's like four
- 2:42Speaker 2: point two, which is nothing compared to Biden's nine percent.
- 2:46Speaker 2: It's up a little because of oil. But he didn't
- 2:49Speaker 2: say I love inflation. He said I love inflation now
- 2:52Speaker 2: because it's going to come crashing down real soon. Not
- 2:55Speaker 2: gonna last. Hey, Plattner is now close to becoming the
- 3:01Speaker 2: actual official nominee. Not yet, but he is. Republicans say
- 3:05Speaker 2: they got all kinds of opposition research. Boy, there's stuff
- 3:09Speaker 2: they got that they're leak out of. But they're gonna
- 3:11Speaker 2: put out stuff about him. And I don't know these Republicans,
- 3:14Speaker 2: They overseell things a lot. But well, whyting to put
- 3:18Speaker 2: it out now? Well, they're waiting for him to officially
- 3:20Speaker 2: be the nominee before they put out we'll see. Uh.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Platner is the I mean, it's the most flawed candidate
- 3:29Speaker 2: ever in the history of the world. Trump finally talked
- 3:31Speaker 2: about Platner.
- 3:33Speaker 3: And they're trying to make excuses for him. I mean,
- 3:36Speaker 3: he's worse than any human being that's ever run your office.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Probably I don't know him.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I don't want to.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Say bad, but I just look.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I mean, nobody's ever had a record like that. He's
- 3:47Speaker 2: gotta be as a candidate. This guy's got he's got
- 3:51Speaker 2: more baggage than than Paris Hilton. This guy, he's a cheap,
- 3:58Speaker 2: no good person.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And I want J's Senators of the Democrats and well,
- 4:04Speaker 3: we don't really know.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You do know as bad.
- 4:07Speaker 3: I've never seen a person like that run for office.
- 4:11Speaker 2: He's right enormous, Nazi SS death Camp tattoo right on
- 4:16Speaker 2: his chest. He's got women coming out of every which
- 4:20Speaker 2: way about. He twisted my arm, he hit me, He
- 4:22Speaker 2: hurt me. This he that he's sexting and texting and
- 4:25Speaker 2: sexting with dozens of women all over the place. You
- 4:30Speaker 2: ever hear him talk. He sounds very official when he talks.
- 4:32Speaker 2: You know, he's got this big voice.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Listen, there's nothing out there that's actually concerning. People will
- 4:38Speaker 4: make everything seem very concerning because that's one people in politics.
- 4:44Speaker 4: But you know, I think The thing about all of
- 4:48Speaker 4: this is what I find to be kind of most curious,
- 4:53Speaker 4: is this is what everyone wants to make the campaign about,
- 4:56Speaker 4: so we do not talk about the struggles of working manners.
- 5:00Speaker 2: So these are all the cheap political tricks. But if
- 5:03Speaker 2: you have a big voice, you know, if you uh,
- 5:06Speaker 2: he said, that's where he's lucky. Nobody's But if you
- 5:10Speaker 2: got that big announce her voice and they say, well,
- 5:13Speaker 2: look at this, this woman says you raped her, hit her,
- 5:16Speaker 2: beat her up, you shot her, you killed her. If
- 5:20Speaker 2: you got the right voice, I know people are trying
- 5:23Speaker 2: to put out these and this is you know, I'd
- 5:24Speaker 2: rather than talk about that. I'd rather talk about people
- 5:27Speaker 2: as their income and paying the bills, and I think
- 5:31Speaker 2: at kitchen table issues and tries to get it off that, uh,
- 5:35Speaker 2: what about all the sexting and texting and sexting with
- 5:38Speaker 2: all these different women?
- 5:39Speaker 4: I engage him consensual romantic activities with adults at an
- 5:44Speaker 4: earlier part in my life, that seems like a fairly
- 5:46Speaker 4: normal thing most people do. Going to an island with
- 5:49Speaker 4: billionaires to possibly assault children is a vastly, vastly different thing.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Who's he talking about? Who's he talking about? What politician Trump.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Nobody ever know they didn't go to an island and
- 6:05Speaker 2: assault children. But I like, how tell you know, you
- 6:08Speaker 2: just have an official voice and you make it a Well, yes,
- 6:10Speaker 2: sexting and texting, and yes I did engage in that,
- 6:13Speaker 2: but I think that's perfectly normal for some people of it,
- 6:17Speaker 2: not for a married guy. You're not supposed to be
- 6:19Speaker 2: doing that.
- 6:20Speaker 4: I engage them consensual romantic activities with adults at an
- 6:25Speaker 4: earlier part in my life.
- 6:26Speaker 2: So if you're well, if your wife caught you sexting
- 6:28Speaker 2: and texting with a dozen women on some crazy hookup site,
- 6:33Speaker 2: the fact that it was consensual, that makes it even worse.
- 6:37Speaker 2: That means you really were carrying on with this with
- 6:39Speaker 2: this person. But he's got that voice, and he sounds
- 6:42Speaker 2: very official when he talks.
- 6:43Speaker 4: They continue to try to make this race about me
- 6:47Speaker 4: and what they said.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Who was it supposed to be? See if you got
- 6:52Speaker 2: that voice, you know, they're trying to make it sound
- 6:54Speaker 2: like the race is about me. Yeah, you're the candidate.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Of course it's about you. What else would it be about?
- 7:00Speaker 2: Who else is it going to be about?
- 7:02Speaker 4: They continue to try to make this race about me
- 7:06Speaker 4: and what they failed to understand is it's not about
- 7:08Speaker 4: me at all. It's about us. It's about Maine. It's
- 7:12Speaker 4: about the working people of this state.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah. See, if you got that official voice, you just
- 7:17Speaker 2: keep doing that whatever happens. We have pictures of you
- 7:20Speaker 2: strangling somebody. Look, this is not about me. It's about Maine.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It's about jobs, it's about people's futures, it's about America.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It's if you say it in that official voice, people
- 7:30Speaker 2: are listening to you like you're actually making sense. Nothing
- 7:33Speaker 2: he's saying is making any sense at all. So Epstein hearings.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Bill Gates testified yesterday. Now they made it clear the committee.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Mister Gates was aware that Jeffrey Epstein had been convicted
- 7:50Speaker 1: and for a horrific crime. It continued to interact with
- 7:54Speaker 1: him to seek money for his foundation. And I think
- 7:58Speaker 1: that obviously, I think we would agree with a horrific
- 8:00Speaker 1: judgment call.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Mister Gates also was very clear that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: He was never introduced to women or girls or anyone
- 8:06Speaker 1: under age by mister Epstein.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Well, nobody under age, but there were a lot of
- 8:11Speaker 2: girls in that Epstein house. Not girls, women in late twenties, thirties, forties,
- 8:18Speaker 2: and Epstein had Gates over a lot, and Gates was
- 8:22Speaker 2: there for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours,
- 8:27Speaker 2: many many nights. His wife left them over it. So
- 8:30Speaker 2: he testified yesterday, and he said that he was being blackmailed.
- 8:36Speaker 2: He said the blackmail attempt was unsuccessful. What was he
- 8:40Speaker 2: trying to blackmail you for? He said, he was trying
- 8:41Speaker 2: to blackmail me to re engage with him, to keep
- 8:44Speaker 2: coming back. Now, Gates did confess to two extramarital affairs
- 8:51Speaker 2: with Russian women. Uh oh too, Russian women. You could
- 8:58Speaker 2: picture them right now, right, yeah, some hot look and
- 9:02Speaker 2: Russian women, at least one of whom appears to have
- 9:06Speaker 2: been used by Epstein to attempt to extort money from Gates.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Gates also reportedly acknowledged with his staff that he's been
- 9:14Speaker 2: accused of more than twenty extramarital affairs. Well, good for him.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Man's entitled to enjoy himself. Oops. You know, let him
- 9:23Speaker 2: go out and do that instead of trying to take
- 9:25Speaker 2: over the food supply or create all these vaccines. That's
- 9:28Speaker 2: a better hobby. Stick with the women. I see, he said,
- 9:32Speaker 2: he testified. I see now how Epstein sought to build
- 9:35Speaker 2: an image of legitimacy. Around himself, using his connections to
- 9:40Speaker 2: reputable and powerful people to deflect scrutiny, an attempt to
- 9:45Speaker 2: rehabilitate his reputation. Well as and I knew the guy.
- 9:48Speaker 2: He was a guy who threw around tons of money
- 9:53Speaker 2: through lavish parties and all kinds of fun things. And
- 9:57Speaker 2: if you hung around him, he could get all kinds
- 10:00Speaker 2: of stuff, including women, but a million other things. But
- 10:04Speaker 2: I don't think anybody ever thought of him as legitimate.
- 10:07Speaker 2: You know, he dressed like the Duke of windsor you know,
- 10:09Speaker 2: he'd have those velvet slippers and he'd have an ass
- 10:12Speaker 2: scot But then when he would talk, it was how
- 10:15Speaker 2: were you?
- 10:15Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:15Speaker 2: You know, I mean he talked like that with that accent,
- 10:18Speaker 2: and he didn't have an air of legitimacy about him.
- 10:21Speaker 2: He had an air of fun. Now, what are a
- 10:24Speaker 2: lot of these billionaires in these big business go what
- 10:26Speaker 2: were they doing around? Well, he did have a couple
- 10:29Speaker 2: of real talents money wise. He was great at if
- 10:34Speaker 2: you needed not laundring money, but if you needed to
- 10:38Speaker 2: take a lot of money, and he could run it
- 10:40Speaker 2: through all kinds of you know, banks all over the world.
- 10:43Speaker 2: He could he could help you avoid taxes, legally. He
- 10:46Speaker 2: had set up all kinds of systems. He had all
- 10:48Speaker 2: kinds of experts who knew how to avoid taxes on money.
- 10:52Speaker 2: That's one reason a lot of guys used him for
- 10:54Speaker 2: that kind of stuff. Gates is claiming he was only
- 10:57Speaker 2: five meetings. I wouldn't call the meetings. If you get
- 11:01Speaker 2: there at six o'clock and you leave at one am,
- 11:04Speaker 2: is that a meeting? I don't think so that's not
- 11:06Speaker 2: a meeting, he said. He was kept saying I was
- 11:11Speaker 2: trying to raise money for my Well, you got a
- 11:13Speaker 2: hundred billion. This guy doesn't have a hundredth of what
- 11:17Speaker 2: you got, So what are you trying to raise money
- 11:18Speaker 2: from him for? Hey, By the way, afterwards, Gates is hired.
- 11:23Speaker 2: He actually hired an attorney, special attorney who was formerly
- 11:28Speaker 2: the investigator for this committee. So he got close ties
- 11:32Speaker 2: to the committee. But that's a good way to protect himself.
- 11:38Speaker 2: He's lawyered up. Here's a comer who runs the committee.
- 11:41Speaker 3: I will say this, no one's accusing Bill Gates of
- 11:43Speaker 3: any wrongdoing, and I certainly appreciate him coming in voluntarily.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah, now nobody's accusing him of any legal wrongdoing. Being
- 11:53Speaker 2: a total sleevez ball, cheating on your wife. Okay, we'll see. Hey,
- 11:59Speaker 2: Barry Weiss, new CBS News President. They're trying to make
- 12:04Speaker 2: her look weird. You know, all these stories come in
- 12:06Speaker 2: the New York Times. However, they're trying to New York
- 12:08Speaker 2: Magazine are all trying to make her. All the left
- 12:10Speaker 2: wing magazines trying to make her look bad. Barry Weiss
- 12:13Speaker 2: physically isolated from the staff, hunkered down in locked office
- 12:21Speaker 2: in Well, but that's every top executive, Every top executive
- 12:25Speaker 2: is hunkered down in an office. Chairman of iHeart Bob Pittman,
- 12:29Speaker 2: he's in the building. What do you think it's hanging
- 12:31Speaker 2: out in the coffee room like the rest of us.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I mean, he's hunkered down in his office. Guy's got
- 12:35Speaker 2: work to do. He's doing like important stuff, and of
- 12:38Speaker 2: course he's hunkered You want your boss hunkered down in
- 12:41Speaker 2: the office working all day. Uh. Now, they go on
- 12:45Speaker 2: to say she has reportedly been ensconced in a secured
- 12:49Speaker 2: sixth floor office suite at the CBS Broadcast Center. Well,
- 12:55Speaker 2: this is normal, this is perfectly normal. You see here
- 12:57Speaker 2: on the you go down on the fifth floor, that's
- 12:59Speaker 2: where all the same and offices. You just get off
- 13:02Speaker 2: the elevator, walk around, you talk to everybody. You come
- 13:05Speaker 2: to the sixth floor, you gotta get in the door there.
- 13:08Speaker 2: I mean, but once you get through that door, you
- 13:10Speaker 2: can walk all around the halls here. There's plenty of studios.
- 13:13Speaker 2: There's Charlemagne over there, there's Jim Kerr studio down there,
- 13:16Speaker 2: Elvis Dauran's down You can just wander around. But you
- 13:19Speaker 2: get up to that twelfth floor, that's where the top, top,
- 13:22Speaker 2: top top executives are. You can't just walk in and
- 13:24Speaker 2: wander around. You gotta have an appointment. You got. It's
- 13:27Speaker 2: normal for any major corporation. When you get to the
- 13:30Speaker 2: top executives, there's a secured area where they work. You
- 13:34Speaker 2: can't just look at this. The area is accessible only
- 13:38Speaker 2: by special key card. Wow, that's everything and every corp
- 13:44Speaker 2: that's You can't come into this floor without your key card.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Every every part of this building you have to have
- 13:49Speaker 2: a key. That's perfectly normal at every network in the world.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I got a fox all the time. You gotta even
- 13:55Speaker 2: when you get off the elevator, you have to have
- 13:57Speaker 2: a key card to open the door just to get
- 13:59Speaker 2: into the hall on that floor. It's normal, but they
- 14:01Speaker 2: make it sound like she's doing something so awful that
- 14:05Speaker 2: she has to be isolated. Hey, tomorrow is the SpaceX IPO.
- 14:09Speaker 2: This is Elon Musk's new company. It's going to be
- 14:12Speaker 2: the biggest IPO in the history of the world. Just
- 14:16Speaker 2: keep an eye on this tomorrow because it's going to
- 14:17Speaker 2: be an explosive story. We'll be talking about it all
- 14:21Speaker 2: morning because this IPO is going to go crazy. They
- 14:24Speaker 2: set the price at one hundred and thirty five dollars,
- 14:27Speaker 2: which is extremely high for an IPO, and that's the
- 14:32Speaker 2: price you get if you're an insider or you're you know,
- 14:35Speaker 2: a professional institution, you know buying. If you buy before
- 14:39Speaker 2: the market even opens, they'll guarantee you that price, or
- 14:43Speaker 2: if you're really, really really big client, your broker will
- 14:47Speaker 2: get you in on the IPO, but at that price. Now,
- 14:49Speaker 2: once it opens on the market at nine point thirty,
- 14:51Speaker 2: within a couple of minutes, the price will go nuts.
- 14:54Speaker 2: It could go to two hundred five hundred, that could
- 14:56Speaker 2: go to twelve hundred. Crazy things will happen at IPO tomorrow.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So if you think you're going to get in at
- 15:01Speaker 2: one thirty five, unless you've got somebody guaranteeing you the stock.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You're not going to get in at one thirty five,
- 15:09Speaker 2: but I would stay out of it tomorrow, whatever crazy
- 15:12Speaker 2: price it goes to. Like all these IPOs, and like
- 15:17Speaker 2: the other Elon musk stocks, it'll shoot up, it'll come down,
- 15:21Speaker 2: it'll go up. There'll be plenty of other times where
- 15:23Speaker 2: it comes down and you can jump in and get
- 15:26Speaker 2: it in the coming weeks or months. And there's some
- 15:30Speaker 2: statistic about IPOs. If every IPO in the history of
- 15:34Speaker 2: the world, if you got in, I think like only
- 15:37Speaker 2: thirty seven percent of them would be a good deal
- 15:40Speaker 2: if you got in at the IPO price. Well, anyway,
- 15:43Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three two one
- 15:46Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 15:50Speaker 2: one zero seven ten
