- 1:39Speaker 3: she's on TikTok Tinks t I n X.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Have you heard of this person? I don't know.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I'm not a TikToker, guys, so my apologies to Tinks
- 1:49Speaker 3: go the lack of in the world for the lack
- 1:52Speaker 3: of awareness. Anyway, she posted this video and it's it's
- 1:56Speaker 3: got a lot of people talking, just interested to see
- 1:58Speaker 3: what you think on this.
- 2:00Speaker 6: Someone asked me.
- 2:00Speaker 7: Today if they should take one hundred and twenty k
- 2:02Speaker 7: remote fully remote or two hundred and forty K to
- 2:05Speaker 7: go into the office, and I was like, huh, And
- 2:07Speaker 7: without even checking their profile, I absolutely knew they were
- 2:11Speaker 7: a gen Z.
- 2:12Speaker 6: I knew their age started with a two.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Because for you to even ask the question of whether
- 2:18Speaker 7: you should take one hundred and twenty thousand extra dollars
- 2:22Speaker 7: a year just to go to the office, just to
- 2:24Speaker 7: march your little booty to the office, sit there around
- 2:27Speaker 7: for a few hours and leave.
- 2:30Speaker 6: What do you guys think goes on at the office.
- 2:31Speaker 6: It's not that scary.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, on a little bit longer, but yeah, like, okay,
- 2:36Speaker 3: so you have one opportunity for one hundred and twenty
- 2:39Speaker 3: thousand dollars. It's fully remote, one hundred and twenty thousand dollars,
- 2:43Speaker 3: but there's this other job doing the same damn thing.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Let's just say the work is equal, right, pays double,
- 2:49Speaker 3: but it pays two hundred and forty. That's that's a
- 2:52Speaker 3: that's double to two times.
- 2:55Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 2:55Speaker 3: You guys want pet on shoes, Yeah, but you have
- 2:58Speaker 3: to go to the office for that. There's maybe because
- 3:02Speaker 3: I'm a person, I've always come in. Even during COVID
- 3:05Speaker 3: when they had this place closed down, we weren't and
- 3:08Speaker 3: that was more for the It was such a the
- 3:11Speaker 3: technical logistics that it was a pain the ass.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And we had the building to ourselves and it was great.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It was awesome. That was pretty great.
- 3:18Speaker 3: But like I've always come in, Yeah, and I think
- 3:21Speaker 3: I prefer to do it, you know, this kind of job,
- 3:23Speaker 3: at least face to face with you guys, it.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Seems like a no, I would take the two forty.
- 3:28Speaker 9: I couldn't give you an answer right away really to
- 3:31Speaker 9: be honest, because I would I would have to know
- 3:33Speaker 9: the factors of like, okay, what the job is, cost
- 3:36Speaker 9: of living and just do the math on it, Like
- 3:39Speaker 9: how far ahead would I be to take the two
- 3:42Speaker 9: forty versus being able to live anywhere I wanted for
- 3:46Speaker 9: the one hundred and twenty thousand. I would have to
- 3:50Speaker 9: do the math on it. I just couldn't, like say
- 3:54Speaker 9: right away.
- 3:55Speaker 3: But double doubles. Yeah, but it's not I understood. Double
- 4:00Speaker 3: is still double.
- 4:02Speaker 9: You got to take the factor of cost of living though,
- 4:04Speaker 9: of where that job is located, and how much it
- 4:06Speaker 9: would cost to live in that city nearby that one
- 4:09Speaker 9: hundred you know, two hundred four years Kamazoo. Yeah, that's
- 4:14Speaker 9: what I'm saying, Like, if I'm making, yeah, in a
- 4:18Speaker 9: city with a low cost of living, and I'm making
- 4:20Speaker 9: two hundred and forty thousand to go, and let's say
- 4:22Speaker 9: I'm going in the office all day.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Let's let's say living where you're living. For the sake
- 4:27Speaker 3: of the argument, you are living where you're living right now,
- 4:30Speaker 3: right now. You're not moving, You're living where you're living
- 4:32Speaker 3: right now. So again, let's keep all things equal, okay.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Rights, it's basically the same. Yeah.
- 4:38Speaker 9: Yeah, then I'm definitely going in the office for sure.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Yeah, because if you're just if it's just about skipping
- 4:42Speaker 3: the commute, yeah, yeah, I know, not having to see
- 4:46Speaker 3: people like that, and I guess they're weird. Everybody's got
- 4:49Speaker 3: their everybody's got their price.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but like is.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Double doubles the price?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one hundred and twenty thousand dollars.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Like you man who SAIDs something about I can't remember
- 5:02Speaker 3: exactly what it was, but like, oh, man, like I
- 5:05Speaker 3: will avoid whatever it is at all costs.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I know what it was.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Somebody said, like they will fly they like they because
- 5:12Speaker 3: they just won't go to LAX and.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Fly out of LAX. I get it.
- 5:17Speaker 3: You know, it's like but to directions. Yeah, yeah, like
- 5:21Speaker 3: you're gonna go through the hassle. For me, it's worth
- 5:25Speaker 3: driving or getting to Lax for the direct flight so
- 5:30Speaker 3: I can cut out all the potential nightmare of missing
- 5:34Speaker 3: a connection or getting somewhere else. Then that plane goes
- 5:36Speaker 3: down for whatever reason mechanically and you get delayed that way,
- 5:39Speaker 3: like there's more.
- 5:40Speaker 2: That could seem to go wrong.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yeah, so to me, it's worth the direct also not
- 5:44Speaker 3: having to like get your crap off the plane, go
- 5:46Speaker 3: to the other gate, get wait for that boarding process,
- 5:49Speaker 3: take off.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Like to me, that's not worth it.
- 5:51Speaker 9: But going back to the like the remote thing where
- 5:54Speaker 9: people are just doing their remote because they don't like
- 5:56Speaker 9: the social interaction. I think that's so dumb.
- 5:59Speaker 8: And that's the thing right now.
- 6:01Speaker 2: It's your choice.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I mean, there is really no right or wrong answer
- 6:04Speaker 3: I would I'm a surprised that there is even a question.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I guess is the my knee jerk reaction. But Menace
- 6:10Speaker 2: made a good point depending on where it is. If
- 6:12Speaker 2: all the factors stayed exactly the same in our lives
- 6:15Speaker 2: where you live and you're commuting all that, then it's
- 6:17Speaker 2: a no brainer. But yeah, if it was two forty
- 6:21Speaker 2: in some cities, it's not the millions that it sounds like.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah, the only perk would be, like Menace, you love traveling,
- 6:28Speaker 3: so you could do your job from anywhere. Yeah, But
- 6:30Speaker 3: for someone who doesn't want to be traveling all the time,
- 6:32Speaker 3: it's easy office all day, right, And it's.
- 6:34Speaker 10: Like, what's the commute Number one, there's so many hours
- 6:37Speaker 10: that you get back on your life if you're not
- 6:39Speaker 10: commuting there and back. If it is far and there's
- 6:41Speaker 10: a lot of traffic, and if you can wake up
- 6:43Speaker 10: honestly and not shower and not get ready and not
- 6:46Speaker 10: do all of those things, you really do have a
- 6:48Speaker 10: lot of time for yourself versus taking the job in
- 6:51Speaker 10: the office.
- 6:52Speaker 8: But it's still a lot of money to leave on
- 6:54Speaker 8: the table.
- 6:55Speaker 9: Just for that.
- 6:56Speaker 3: All right, there, it's a question on the text and
- 6:59Speaker 3: just next over to two two nine eight seven. So
- 7:02Speaker 3: here I'll if you're just tuning in, I'll play the
- 7:03Speaker 3: clib one more time.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Hi.
- 7:04Speaker 7: Someone ask me today if they should take one hundred
- 7:06Speaker 7: and twenty k remote fully remote or two.
- 7:09Speaker 6: Hundred and forty K to go into the office.
- 7:11Speaker 7: And I was like who, And without even checking their profile,
- 7:14Speaker 7: I absolutely knew they were a gen Z.
- 7:17Speaker 6: I knew their age started with the two.
- 7:19Speaker 7: Because for you to even ask the question of whether
- 7:23Speaker 7: you should take one hundred and twenty thousand extra dollars
- 7:27Speaker 7: a year just to go to the office, just to
- 7:29Speaker 7: march your little booty to the office, sit there around
- 7:32Speaker 7: for a few hours and leave.
- 7:34Speaker 6: What do you guys think goes on at the office?
- 7:36Speaker 6: It's not that scary?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Which one?
- 7:40Speaker 3: Again, all things equal, same work in living where you
- 7:43Speaker 3: live right now? Which one would you take? Would you
- 7:45Speaker 3: take the one hundred and twenty to just be able
- 7:47Speaker 3: to work from home or the two forty but you
- 7:50Speaker 3: got to come into the office. Which one would you take?
- 7:54Speaker 2: The woody shop?
- 7:57Speaker 3: So before the break, I had played to clip and
- 8:01Speaker 3: it's a question that's been burning up the internet. Apparently
- 8:05Speaker 3: Tinks is the name of the woman who posted this video.
- 8:09Speaker 3: People seem to know she is. I Pho's surprised. I'm
- 8:12Speaker 3: not familiar with her or what. Yeah, I know, but
- 8:15Speaker 3: I've also never never had a TikTok or right, so
- 8:19Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 8:19Speaker 2: But yeah, here's what she said.
- 8:21Speaker 7: Someone asked me today if they should take one hundred
- 8:23Speaker 7: and twenty k remote fully remote or two hundred and
- 8:26Speaker 7: forty K to go into the office, And I was like, who,
- 8:29Speaker 7: And without even checking their profile, I absolutely knew they
- 8:32Speaker 7: were a gen Z.
- 8:33Speaker 6: I knew their age started with a two.
- 8:35Speaker 7: Because for you to even ask the question of whether
- 8:39Speaker 7: you should take one hundred and twenty thousand extra dollars
- 8:43Speaker 7: a year just to go to the office, just to
- 8:45Speaker 7: march your little booty to the office, sit there around
- 8:48Speaker 7: for a few hours and leave.
- 8:51Speaker 6: What do you guys think goes on at the office?
- 8:53Speaker 6: It's not that scary.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yeah, so we asked you which one would you take?
- 8:56Speaker 3: All things equal, let's say that it wasn't about picking
- 8:59Speaker 3: up and moving somewhere completely different. So where you're living now,
- 9:01Speaker 3: whatever that cost of living is, it was just a
- 9:03Speaker 3: matter of going into the office, basically, which one would
- 9:07Speaker 3: you take? This one says two hundred and forty thousand.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I need to get away from my house. Julie says,
- 9:14Speaker 3: I would take the one hundred and twenty thousand for
- 9:16Speaker 3: fully remote. I need the flexibility to be able to
- 9:18Speaker 3: pick up my kids, volunteer at their school, travel, et cetera.
- 9:22Speaker 3: If I'm going to the office, I am chained to
- 9:25Speaker 3: my desk. The flexibility is priceless. Remote is trash. I'd
- 9:30Speaker 3: rather drive to the office and deal with a couple
- 9:33Speaker 3: of coworkers because you need the place that you can
- 9:36Speaker 3: get away. You need the place you can get away
- 9:38Speaker 3: from your house. If they're the same place, then you're
- 9:41Speaker 3: not gonna let go of any of the anxiety. Like
- 9:44Speaker 3: I feel like you're at work on like you know,
- 9:45Speaker 3: but like home could be that relief too. So you know,
- 9:48Speaker 3: you need relief from the people and the stuff that
- 9:50Speaker 3: you're dealing with at home. So good to go to
- 9:51Speaker 3: the office when you need relief from the people or
- 9:53Speaker 3: the things that are going in the office. You get
- 9:55Speaker 3: to go home when it's all the same place. That's
- 9:58Speaker 3: a good point. I didn't think about it that way.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I work from home and I absolutely love it. I
- 10:03Speaker 3: would hate to go. I hate to have to go
- 10:05Speaker 3: back to an office, but for two hundred thousand, I
- 10:07Speaker 3: would do it in a heartbeat.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yeah, huge difference.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I have five kids. I would take one hundred and
- 10:11Speaker 3: twenty thousand dollars less to be able to leave the house,
- 10:14Speaker 3: and I would pray for a long commute. Millennial here,
- 10:18Speaker 3: I would take the two hundred and forty thousand, no
- 10:20Speaker 3: hesitation commute, not even a worry, for double the salary.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I'm taking my happy little ass to the office every day,
- 10:27Speaker 3: says the eight one eight. Someone said I would sell
- 10:30Speaker 3: my great great great great grandmother back into slavery for
- 10:33Speaker 3: two hundred and forty thousand dollars a year, it says,
- 10:36Speaker 3: I'm definitely taking the extra money.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:39Speaker 3: So it's it's all over the place. But I would
- 10:41Speaker 3: say overall, yeah, I overall seems that people would take
- 10:45Speaker 3: the money.
- 10:45Speaker 9: What would take with the caveat of you don't get
- 10:49Speaker 9: to move? Yeah, I mean, the remote work doesn't make
- 10:52Speaker 9: sense at all.
- 10:53Speaker 3: If all the factors stay the same, it's a no
- 10:55Speaker 3: brainer go to the office. But honestly, in person work
- 10:57Speaker 3: has literally drained my soul that considering the one hundred
- 11:02Speaker 3: and twenty thousand might.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Be worth it. That could be. That sounds like it
- 11:06Speaker 2: could be like where you're.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Working, yeah, and the people you were working with a
- 11:11Speaker 3: co workers.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I just don't have the discipline to work from home. U.
- 11:16Speaker 3: The current job market not as stable as used to
- 11:18Speaker 3: be turns out not entirely the fault of employers. According
- 11:21Speaker 3: to the new numbers here, fifty eight percent of gen
- 11:24Speaker 3: z workers admitted to taking a job that they knew
- 11:27Speaker 3: it wasn't going to be long term. On top of that,
- 11:30Speaker 3: forty seven percent of gen z 's said they planned
- 11:32Speaker 3: to leave their current job within the year. So you know,
- 11:35Speaker 3: gen Z's got like a short average career commitment. But
- 11:39Speaker 3: I don't ever fault anybody for that because guess what,
- 11:41Speaker 3: the company doesn't care either. How could you if if
- 11:44Speaker 3: the company cares? I mean really truly honestly, we see
- 11:48Speaker 3: all the time.
- 11:49Speaker 2: You want to see what not a big deal looks like?
- 11:52Speaker 3: Come hang out here? Yep, just even like alter ego,
- 11:55Speaker 3: I want to say, what not a big deal looks like? Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 3: like we're hosting the show and nobody could be bothered
- 12:02Speaker 3: with us. Yeah, and it's fine because where they're working
- 12:05Speaker 3: and we don't expect anything like that, but it's just
- 12:08Speaker 3: it's just interesting to see the company doesn't care.
- 12:12Speaker 2: You know, they'll they'll be smiles and they'll shake your
- 12:14Speaker 2: hand or give you like a half assed hug or whatever.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I at least people really care about me or care
- 12:20Speaker 3: about us at all, just to know and have us
- 12:22Speaker 3: ask for something I'm saying. I'm saying, no, I really
- 12:25Speaker 3: I really don't like and until we hit that balancing
- 12:29Speaker 3: point of we are not important to them for.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Whatever that, we're out. Yeah.
- 12:35Speaker 3: And that's just it's not going to be Oh, all
- 12:38Speaker 3: the goodwill or all the hard work, or your your's
- 12:41Speaker 3: worth of a track record that you had with them, whatever,
- 12:44Speaker 3: whatever the case might be, Like, none of that stuff
- 12:46Speaker 3: matters the minute you become you know, not useful to them,
- 12:51Speaker 3: not not even not useful, but like inconvenient or like
- 12:54Speaker 3: it's it's it's financially unappealing. Yeah, they don't nobody they
- 12:57Speaker 3: don't really care.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And I know that, and I and I understand that
- 13:01Speaker 2: everybody should know that because you hear it when people say, like,
- 13:04Speaker 2: in any industry.
- 13:06Speaker 3: All they care about is the profits.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yes, well it's business, that's yeah, every business that exists
- 13:13Speaker 2: but people get people get suckered.
- 13:15Speaker 3: They go, oh, well, you know, here it's a family
- 13:18Speaker 3: unless it's a family business and your last name is
- 13:20Speaker 3: their last name. But even then, I mean there are
- 13:23Speaker 3: family members who get booted out.
- 13:24Speaker 2: There was a friend of mine.
- 13:25Speaker 3: He owned a pool company and it was him, his brother,
- 13:28Speaker 3: and his two sisters that ran this company. They kicked
- 13:30Speaker 3: the sister out. Oh really yeah because she was paying
- 13:32Speaker 3: the ass. Yeah, yeah, she was paying the ass and
- 13:36Speaker 3: so the family business, your last name is their last.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Name, and she still got fired.
- 13:40Speaker 3: You got to go, yeah, there was this other thing
- 13:44Speaker 3: I saw, because this is another thing that they will
- 13:46Speaker 3: There are a lot of companies that will sucker you
- 13:48Speaker 3: into thinking that things are one way when it's really not.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Have you seen like now they are offering certain companies
- 13:54Speaker 3: are offering unlimited PTO. Oh yeah, yeah, a lot of places,
- 13:58Speaker 3: you know, but yeah, is that really exactly right? So
- 14:01Speaker 3: there's this woman, she's an HR person. She broke it down.
- 14:04Speaker 3: So she is one of those videos where she's playing
- 14:07Speaker 3: both sides. She's playing the HR person, but she's also
- 14:10Speaker 3: playing the employer. The employer are the employee? Oh yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 3: but it just like what a scam it's just names
- 14:18Speaker 3: and smoking mirrors to get people to think, do.
- 14:20Speaker 11: You have an unlimited PTO policy? Oh, so I can
- 14:22Speaker 11: take every Friday off? Well no, what about a week
- 14:25Speaker 11: of vacation every month? No, it still needs to be reasonable.
- 14:28Speaker 12: So a month off every year for a longer holiday,
- 14:31Speaker 12: that is not something we would be open to.
- 14:33Speaker 11: So then how is it unlimited?
- 14:35Speaker 12: But you don't have a set number of vacation days
- 14:37Speaker 12: per year, so you don't have to pay employees out
- 14:39Speaker 12: if they go unused.
- 14:40Speaker 2: There it is, but in not.
- 14:41Speaker 12: Having PTO as product total compensation, there's no guarantee of
- 14:44Speaker 12: what will be approved for your time off, and it's
- 14:47Speaker 12: up to your manager's discretion.
- 14:48Speaker 11: Yes, your manager would need to approve it.
- 14:51Speaker 12: Well, then you have the employees that feel guilty for
- 14:52Speaker 12: taking too many days off, so they end up taking
- 14:55Speaker 12: less than they would.
- 14:55Speaker 11: If they had a set number of days.
- 14:57Speaker 12: I guess perhaps, and then the employees, if more accommodating managers,
- 15:01Speaker 12: will benefit from being approved.
- 15:02Speaker 11: To take more days. I'm confused as to where you're
- 15:05Speaker 11: going with this.
- 15:06Speaker 12: I just want to ensure I'm understanding the whole picture
- 15:08Speaker 12: of unlimited PTO behind the flashing name.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Uh, huh, there you go. Yeah, the companies don't have
- 15:13Speaker 3: to pay you for what they are in the days
- 15:16Speaker 3: if you have a number of days, especially if you
- 15:18Speaker 3: live in a state where those those days carry over. Yeah,
- 15:21Speaker 3: it's a lot of places it's user lose it, but
- 15:23Speaker 3: there are other states where it just rolls over and
- 15:26Speaker 3: then when you leave, they have to pay you on
- 15:28Speaker 3: those unused days hours. However, it's calculatd.
- 15:31Speaker 9: It's all up to because I know plenty of people
- 15:33Speaker 9: in the tech world that have that kind of setup.
- 15:36Speaker 9: And again, exactly what she said, it's all up to
- 15:39Speaker 9: if your manager's cool or not.
- 15:41Speaker 3: You know what this it's when your wife says to you, yeah, sure,
- 15:44Speaker 3: go ahead, you go no, do it? Go ahead.
- 15:49Speaker 2: It's almost like a dare.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Yeah right, And you're like, oh, yeah, I did when
- 15:54Speaker 3: my wife. When my wife only told me like, go ahead,
- 15:56Speaker 3: take flight lessons, I'm like, hmmm, I don't think she
- 15:59Speaker 3: means that. I'm like, all right, I'm gonna, I'm gonna
- 16:05Speaker 3: do it. I'm gonna I'm gonna sign up.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, go for it.
- 16:09Speaker 3: All right, I'm signing up. I'm gonna, I'm gonna take
- 16:12Speaker 3: these flight lessons.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you should like I should like you're daring me, like, yeah,
- 16:22Speaker 2: oh we have unloaded time.
- 16:23Speaker 3: But yeah, you can take those things fine, Like they said,
- 16:25Speaker 3: people they'll be nervous about like, oh, I want to
- 16:27Speaker 3: seem like I'm taking advantage. They they'll take less than
- 16:30Speaker 3: what they would normally get if they had a certain
- 16:33Speaker 3: number of yep.
- 16:34Speaker 10: And I read something saying statistically, people with unlimited PTO
- 16:37Speaker 10: do take less days.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, the house always wins.
- 16:40Speaker 8: Yeah, they wouldn't do it if they didn't.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Yeah, the house always wins. Right, That's just how that's
- 16:47Speaker 3: just that's how the system's built. But it sounds so nice,
- 16:50Speaker 3: it sounds great, curious. Yeah, all right, so thrown around
- 16:59Speaker 3: the idea just because it'd be ironic. Wood he showed
- 17:03Speaker 3: book club, you know, uh today for what he show
- 17:08Speaker 3: book club. I'm gonna start with a question, And this
- 17:11Speaker 3: is something I'm sure keeps Sea Bass up at night.
- 17:14Speaker 3: What do you feel like your co workers respect you?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Does it too? That's I would say. I don't think
- 17:24Speaker 3: he keeps them up at night.
- 17:25Speaker 2: That was I mean, I don't. I don't think you
- 17:26Speaker 2: really think about it one way or the other. I
- 17:28Speaker 2: think you are.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Respected, Yeah, I think I think you are, especially your
- 17:33Speaker 3: work ethic, your you know, creativity for sure.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:38Speaker 3: They would socially a little strange, but I mean, you know,
- 17:42Speaker 3: he could turn it on.
- 17:42Speaker 2: He could be lovely at times. Yeah, you know, charming.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Oh, by the way, we got a couple of notifications
- 17:49Speaker 3: about this from a couple of people, but I guess
- 17:50Speaker 3: Howard Stern was mentioning cart Narks.
- 17:52Speaker 13: Yeah, this is is actually we just brought this up
- 17:54Speaker 13: on the show. Yes, they did an interview with me
- 17:57Speaker 13: or a pre interview back during the super Bowl week.
- 18:00Speaker 13: Oh right, and I did the guys. I don't know
- 18:03Speaker 13: if this is ever going to air whatever, blah blah blah.
- 18:04Speaker 13: I guess they had time and they did like a package,
- 18:07Speaker 13: so they didn't. I wasn't live on the air, but
- 18:08Speaker 13: I don't know, and I haven't heard of the segment
- 18:10Speaker 13: yet either.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I guess it just.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Aired yesterday and it's like just replaying this week.
- 18:15Speaker 2: So nice.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, getting a little shot after like you know,
- 18:18Speaker 3: it was the moments in shock Jockery, So it was
- 18:22Speaker 3: that was that return of the favors? Yeah right, yea. Anyway,
- 18:27Speaker 3: you want to earn your co workers respect, and if
- 18:31Speaker 3: that's the case, some things that you need to do.
- 18:33Speaker 3: According to this quote leadership expert. He's got a book,
- 18:35Speaker 3: what is show book club, It's called The Mentally Strong Leader,
- 18:39Speaker 3: and he says that whether you're the boss or you're
- 18:41Speaker 3: an entry level employee, there are three categories of things
- 18:45Speaker 3: that you need to do to gain people's respect to work.
- 18:47Speaker 3: And let's see how well we all do with these things,
- 18:49Speaker 3: all right? Number one, give, be generous with your time
- 18:53Speaker 3: and knowledge, Praise other people's efforts, take time to offer
- 18:58Speaker 3: good feedback, and give other people your respect. I think
- 19:03Speaker 3: pretty much we actually do that easy. All joking aside,
- 19:05Speaker 3: I think we are pretty good at that.
- 19:08Speaker 8: And it's like, I don't understand people who withhold compliments
- 19:11Speaker 8: like if something's good, like you want to let somebody know.
- 19:14Speaker 3: It creates a good vibe, get too big, you know
- 19:16Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 19:18Speaker 8: But it's like something's funny. I mean I always I
- 19:20Speaker 8: always want to let somebody know.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Next one is resist, resist the temptation to gossip about
- 19:26Speaker 3: co workers.
- 19:27Speaker 2: We failed that. I love that narrative that don't get
- 19:31Speaker 2: roped gossip more than anybody.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Don't get roped into being negative and rest taking credit to.
- 19:39Speaker 9: Greg.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Don't get up into being negative. We can we can
- 19:41Speaker 3: discuss this in a second. Let me just get through
- 19:42Speaker 3: the tip, just a tip, how you're giving it and
- 19:48Speaker 3: resist taking credit for stuff even when it's deserved. Be
- 19:51Speaker 3: modest instead and talk about how it was a group effort.
- 19:57Speaker 3: They'll still know you deserve the credit, but they'll respect
- 20:00Speaker 3: thank you for resisting. Oh yeah, a little more modesty.
- 20:04Speaker 3: I believe that.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Oh well, you know that's the original game. I don't
- 20:10Speaker 2: know if they know that you I don't.
- 20:11Speaker 13: You don't necessarily always get the recognition because some people
- 20:14Speaker 13: will either they'll try to sweep it under the team like, oh, we,
- 20:17Speaker 13: as a team, we created this, Like no, you didn't.
- 20:19Speaker 2: No, no, like, for example, sounds that you have something
- 20:23Speaker 2: specific in mind.
- 20:24Speaker 13: No, no, I'm just saying like for this, not for
- 20:26Speaker 13: this show necessarily, but in general. A manager will kind
- 20:29Speaker 13: of like try to make everyone feel good and say, oh, look,
- 20:32Speaker 13: as a team, we.
- 20:34Speaker 9: H And then the hangar get credit exactly.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Because you know, Greg has always claimed responsibility and credit
- 20:42Speaker 3: for cart Narks. It's not a claim, it's just the name.
- 20:46Speaker 3: The name Cardnarks did not come from. That actually came
- 20:48Speaker 3: from a text. All yeah, that came from a text.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I forget what cart police or whatever we called it
- 20:54Speaker 3: original shaming well to be fair. But see that's the
- 20:57Speaker 3: thing is that was I think actually that the way
- 20:59Speaker 3: I remember it is more of a collective thing because
- 21:02Speaker 3: we were talking about Greg's pet peeve about people not
- 21:06Speaker 3: returning their carts, and then we were.
- 21:08Speaker 9: In the office.
- 21:09Speaker 13: No, that was the thing on the air has a
- 21:11Speaker 13: very bad and you like to have your pie thing
- 21:14Speaker 13: you had wrong for years. You just kind of made
- 21:17Speaker 13: up like you see what he'll go with the not
- 21:18Speaker 13: not not that he's lying, He just goes with like
- 21:20Speaker 13: the easiest thing.
- 21:21Speaker 9: That he can remember.
- 21:21Speaker 13: It makes sense to him, right, and and then it
- 21:25Speaker 13: just sticks right exactly, and then he repeats it again
- 21:27Speaker 13: and then it just becomes fat right.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Which this is not a slam. It's because I here's
- 21:32Speaker 2: the way I remember it.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I remember. I'll just telling you that you guys can
- 21:36Speaker 3: fill in like you guys can fill in the gaps
- 21:39Speaker 3: or whatever, correct the information. But we were talking about
- 21:42Speaker 3: things like that that just are annoying people, you know,
- 21:45Speaker 3: annoying things. And one of the things, the cart thing
- 21:47Speaker 3: came up Greg was on the air. It was a
- 21:49Speaker 3: pet peeve kind of thing talking about that, and then
- 21:51Speaker 3: I do remember being in the office and Sea Bass
- 21:54Speaker 3: was at this time. You know, he was always he's
- 21:57Speaker 3: always down for a project, as we know, always still
- 21:59Speaker 3: down for right, and so it was one of those
- 22:01Speaker 3: like things that somebody just kind of threw out in
- 22:03Speaker 3: one of those collective conversations in the office about you know, dude,
- 22:07Speaker 3: go out to the grocery store for five minutes and
- 22:09Speaker 3: you'll find somebody. And he tried, and like the first
- 22:12Speaker 3: one and the second one that you did was super explosive.
- 22:15Speaker 9: Man, And then I said we should call it Cardner.
- 22:18Speaker 3: But the thing is, I guess so what was it
- 22:20Speaker 3: gave me the I think that that's that's.
- 22:21Speaker 9: Closer to the reality. I don't think it was on
- 22:23Speaker 9: the air though that we started. I think it was
- 22:24Speaker 9: off the air. But anyway, but the.
- 22:26Speaker 13: Point that the Greg Greg's point again, I appreciate that
- 22:28Speaker 13: he shares the passion that I do, but that's not
- 22:31Speaker 13: what I tell people when they ask me about it,
- 22:32Speaker 13: and like, how do you get this off the ground,
- 22:34Speaker 13: as like you've got to go out and do the
- 22:35Speaker 13: thing right. Making the observation is one thing that's but
- 22:39Speaker 13: that's you know, to follow through literally. Charles Schultz in
- 22:43Speaker 13: nineteen ninety one and a Peanuts comic that I have
- 22:45Speaker 13: printed out here in the office made a point that
- 22:48Speaker 13: Snoopy was mad at Woodstock for not returning a shopping cart.
- 22:51Speaker 13: He just left it against the tree. So the observation
- 22:54Speaker 13: isn't unique to us, Sure, to Greg or anybody else.
- 22:56Speaker 2: No, it's definitely that's what you do with it?
- 22:58Speaker 3: The execution, yeah, you with it? And then the final tip,
- 23:01Speaker 3: what do you show book club today?
- 23:03Speaker 5: Again?
- 23:03Speaker 3: This is a guy, he's a he's a leadership expert.
- 23:06Speaker 3: The book is called The Mentally Strong Leader. Of these
- 23:08Speaker 3: three categories of things that you need to do to
- 23:09Speaker 3: gain your co workers respect, Give and be generous with
- 23:12Speaker 3: your time and knowledge. Resist the temptation to gossip about
- 23:16Speaker 3: co workers, to take credit for stuff you want it's deserved.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Number three is exude, meaning exude professionalism, which includes not
- 23:24Speaker 3: being late to stuff, being open, honest and transparent, exuding confidence, collaboration,
- 23:30Speaker 3: be accountable for your own mistakes, Be authentic. When people
- 23:34Speaker 3: know they're getting the real youth, they respect you for it.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Sure these all seemed kind of obvious, of.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Course, all this stuff the book guys who going to
- 23:44Speaker 3: show book Club. Yeah, Now you might wonder if I,
- 23:49Speaker 3: you know, we have a theory about this where this
- 23:53Speaker 3: animosity between Greg and SeaBASS even came from?
- 23:56Speaker 2: Where did it start?
- 23:57Speaker 13: Well, and let's let's talk about that speak. There was
- 24:00Speaker 13: his animosity from Greg towards Sea Bass, not between I
- 24:04Speaker 13: don't share that animosity love.
- 24:07Speaker 3: And from.
- 24:13Speaker 9: Greg's project.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Okay, is it possible that Sea Bass started teasing Greg
- 24:20Speaker 3: because Greg made out with one of his girlfriends that.
- 24:25Speaker 9: I was honestly not even where that happened.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Really, I thought you knew about that, but like but.
- 24:30Speaker 9: Like the same way you would make out with whoever,
- 24:32Speaker 9: Julianna or.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty much. Obviously we weren't going at it.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Number one number one girls, number one number two, don't
- 24:40Speaker 3: care because that was one of the theories floated at
- 24:45Speaker 3: one point. Is that the reason there was maybe animosity
- 24:47Speaker 3: towards gregor because lady.
- 24:52Speaker 2: He was tongue in your lady? Yeah, it was just tongue.
- 24:56Speaker 9: It's impossible for me because I honestly didn't even know.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Interesting doesn't freak you out.
- 25:01Speaker 9: Again, Gina hasn't seen it yet, But Greg used to
- 25:04Speaker 9: be very promiscuous.
- 25:05Speaker 8: I have tried to get gregged five different.
- 25:10Speaker 2: So far, no Gregg of Ginas. Did you ever get Greg?
- 25:14Speaker 3: No, I would never.
- 25:16Speaker 9: I think we just need to get enough.
- 25:18Speaker 2: That's not the same. You would never, Oh, I would never.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Those days are over, I know, even in a blackout drunkenness.
- 25:25Speaker 3: One thing I don't know, Greg is how how did
- 25:28Speaker 3: you end up making out with Sea Bass's girlfriend? Yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 3: that happens.
- 25:31Speaker 2: How did that happen? And it involved booze of course,
- 25:34Speaker 2: and maybe party. Probably it was at a wine bar,
- 25:38Speaker 2: and I think we were drunk, drunk ish, not drunk,
- 25:43Speaker 2: but drunk. Sea Bess there, No at a wine bar, No, no,
- 25:46Speaker 2: no wine bar. And it was myself, Mario. And then
- 25:51Speaker 2: speaking of which, Julianne and Sea Bass's ex, why was
- 25:56Speaker 2: she there? Because she became friends with Julia. Yeah, it
- 26:01Speaker 2: would be fun if we if the four of us
- 26:04Speaker 2: made out, So.
- 26:09Speaker 9: That's what happens to julian Yeah, Julianne.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I'm like, well I'm not I've already I mean, I
- 26:14Speaker 2: basically have made out with Julianne, so that wouldn't be exciting,
- 26:19Speaker 2: But what would be made out with Mario? One hundred thousands? Right?
- 26:23Speaker 2: And then I thought, well it would be exciting.
- 26:25Speaker 3: If it'll be fun would be to make.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Out with her instead, And then Mario, you can make
- 26:29Speaker 2: out with Juliane since you've never gregged her or made out.
- 26:33Speaker 2: So we just did that. We just all stood up
- 26:36Speaker 2: kind of like a key in public. I just started
- 26:38Speaker 2: kissing and then we took pictures of it, and we
- 26:40Speaker 2: thought it was kind of fun and excited. It was
- 26:44Speaker 2: very weird setting.
- 26:46Speaker 8: By the way, did you like send one to Sea Bass?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Did you post him or anything? Yeah? Maybe I would
- 26:53Speaker 2: have to go.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I doubt that would have been funny.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Like check it out.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Here's a picture of me making out with Sea Bass's girlfriend.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Am I even Facebook friends with Greg?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Facebook? We are nice?
- 27:04Speaker 8: Or would Julianne have posted them?
- 27:06Speaker 2: Maybe? Probably julian.
- 27:10Speaker 13: Again, it's it's that wouldn't have been a thing because
- 27:12Speaker 13: again Greg does that with everybody, and it's not like
- 27:15Speaker 13: his thing came out.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not like his thinking, wouldn't.
- 27:21Speaker 13: I don't say this to be disrespectful in the way
- 27:24Speaker 13: you're thinking, but like if we talked about this before,
- 27:26Speaker 13: like if girls make out with other girls at a party,
- 27:28Speaker 13: no one cares, not that Greg's a girl.
- 27:31Speaker 3: But legally it's the level level girl threat level girl,
- 27:37Speaker 3: which is how.
- 27:37Speaker 13: Some bisexual quote unquote guys sneak their way sneak their
- 27:40Speaker 13: way in past the front.
- 27:42Speaker 3: But I don't believe Greg would be that. No, well
- 27:44Speaker 3: there goes that theory.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Guys, I gotta find this photos the first I've heard
- 27:48Speaker 2: that theory.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I don't care why you listen, because you love it
- 27:51Speaker 3: listening as listening.
- 27:53Speaker 2: This is the show.
- 27:55Speaker 3: We got a question for the ladies, and this is
- 27:58Speaker 3: a Greg Gory question. Yeah, And I got to say
- 28:02Speaker 3: I also have the same question, And yes, I realized
- 28:04Speaker 3: that there are things like Google and chat.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I just haven't Google.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Don't want your search history that I have no problem with.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I just never thought to.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Google it.
- 28:17Speaker 2: There's a ton of stuff that I always wonder about,
- 28:18Speaker 2: and I think I could probably look this up. I'd
- 28:21Speaker 2: rather find out organically.
- 28:22Speaker 3: No, But at this point, knowing that Greg was going
- 28:24Speaker 3: to ask the question, I'm like, you know, I'll wait
- 28:26Speaker 3: to find out what the answer is. I can't from
- 28:29Speaker 3: people who have first hand experience with this. And so
- 28:33Speaker 3: a question for the ladies. We got some questions in
- 28:35Speaker 3: general for the ladies that we're going to get to
- 28:38Speaker 3: here this hour. Like I mentioned the phones are open,
- 28:41Speaker 3: you get text over to two to ninety seven. You
- 28:43Speaker 3: can give us a follow on social media at the
- 28:45Speaker 3: Woodie Show, our YouTube page, YouTube dot com, Slash the
- 28:48Speaker 3: woods Show. Tons of animated podcasts up there. And I
- 28:52Speaker 3: know it's kind of a drought for a minute with
- 28:54Speaker 3: the new animated podcast, but we do. But we do
- 28:56Speaker 3: have a new one. See best tell us all about
- 28:58Speaker 3: it place.
- 28:59Speaker 13: Well, it involves somebody getting justice and making Greg's neighborhood
- 29:03Speaker 13: just a better place to live.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Greg's ongoing drama, right, and I'll update you after we
- 29:09Speaker 3: check out the podcast with the with the neighbors and
- 29:11Speaker 3: the trash cans. Oh my god, just want the neighborhood
- 29:14Speaker 3: to be nice.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Yeah, his so wrong. His story.
- 29:18Speaker 3: It was so good that people were asking, hey, this
- 29:20Speaker 3: should be an animated podcast. We heard your request and
- 29:23Speaker 3: now it's a thing. You could see it on our
- 29:25Speaker 3: YouTube page, YouTube dot com, Slash the Woody Show. Greg's
- 29:28Speaker 3: neighbors leave their trash bins out seven days a week
- 29:32Speaker 3: for over a year. Sea Bass was enlisted to help them.
- 29:39Speaker 14: Good morning, and thank you for calling Samitation. How can
- 29:42Speaker 14: we healthy today?
- 29:44Speaker 3: Hi?
- 29:44Speaker 13: I'm Greg Gory and I was curious whom do I
- 29:48Speaker 13: speak with about neighbors who leave their trash cans out
- 29:52Speaker 13: twenty four to seven three sixty five.
- 29:56Speaker 14: That would be Are you Greg Gory from the radio show?
- 30:03Speaker 3: Yes, I am, of course that is accurate. Yeah, hello,
- 30:06Speaker 3: good to talk to you.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Hi, my name's nice to meet you, Greg. I used
- 30:11Speaker 1: to listen to you guys all the time for the
- 30:13Speaker 1: past couple of years, and now that I don't drive anymore,
- 30:16Speaker 1: only get to hear on weekends.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Get that podcast Blood.
- 30:23Speaker 14: A Thursday crash collection.
- 30:25Speaker 3: That's accurate.
- 30:25Speaker 14: Now, if they go and.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Visit on a Friday and the trash cans are still out,
- 30:29Speaker 1: they are supposed to leave some type of note and
- 30:32Speaker 1: eventually they used to face fines or worse, arrest perhaps no,
- 30:39Speaker 1: nobody's mean, Oh dang, imprisonment, execution.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I guess.
- 30:47Speaker 7: Well.
- 30:47Speaker 3: I appreciate your professionalism. Hopefully this matter will be resolved
- 30:52Speaker 3: post taste.
- 30:54Speaker 14: Say hi to Woody everybody.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Thanks again, you were a doll.
- 30:59Speaker 14: Just have a good.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I have an amazing update. All but one can has
- 31:07Speaker 2: been cleared. Are you serious?
- 31:11Speaker 3: Greg?
- 31:11Speaker 9: Serious?
- 31:12Speaker 2: The rest of them?
- 31:14Speaker 3: I've been wheeled up the driveway and placed out of sight.
- 31:20Speaker 2: See that's gets results.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Well, that's the new animated podcast you can check out
- 31:27Speaker 3: if you go to our YouTube page YouTube dot com.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Slash the Wood Show now post haste. That was the
- 31:34Speaker 3: update that Greg had for us at the time of
- 31:37Speaker 3: that story. But as you heard Greg, there's another update that, Yeah,
- 31:41Speaker 3: the success of that phone call to the wonderful city
- 31:45Speaker 3: the employees was short lived. The cans are back and
- 31:49Speaker 3: they have not budge. The indoor can is still there,
- 31:52Speaker 3: and now all the wheeled ones are still there.
- 31:55Speaker 2: The ones are in the street. The other day they
- 31:58Speaker 2: were out in the street. And why I say in
- 32:00Speaker 2: the street, like beyond the curb where you have to
- 32:03Speaker 2: drive around them. There was a woman who I've never
- 32:07Speaker 2: seen before sitting on the front lawn of that house
- 32:09Speaker 2: with their kids, like I think, eating lunch or something.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I almost, and I don't have the nerve to do it,
- 32:15Speaker 2: almost pulled over and wanted to say something, Hey, do
- 32:18Speaker 2: you live here?
- 32:19Speaker 9: Is this?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Like I almost hear her cans many times, and I've
- 32:23Speaker 2: wanted to drive right into them too.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Well, Greg, I know that's what scuffed your car.
- 32:26Speaker 13: You don't want to do that exactly, but yeah, that's
- 32:28Speaker 13: the ultimate move is to oh no, no, no, I
- 32:34Speaker 13: just thought as I was preparing this, I just thought,
- 32:36Speaker 13: I do have the giants like eighteen by twenty four
- 32:39Speaker 13: inch stickers that I have.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Sitting in my place.
- 32:42Speaker 13: They basically say, there's essentially Carton narks for trash guys
- 32:45Speaker 13: in this person warning this slob leaves their cans.
- 32:47Speaker 9: Out twenty four to seven, And yes, I will be
- 32:49Speaker 9: making a trip by the neighbors.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Well, it's a great animated podcast. The animators did a
- 32:54Speaker 3: great job. If you want to see it, it's on
- 32:56Speaker 3: our YouTube page right now. Also, Menace is putting the
- 32:59Speaker 3: links and everything else in our social media, so you
- 33:00Speaker 3: can check that out at the Woody Show. Questions for
- 33:04Speaker 3: the ladies, starting with Gregg's and I'm very curious about
- 33:08Speaker 3: this is something I've heard of it.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I don't know exactly what it is or how it works.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Is it painful? Right? So that is a question for
- 33:15Speaker 2: the ladies that we'll start with next year on The
- 33:17Speaker 2: Woody Show.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Late seven.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Where you came out because You're gonna live an eternal
- 33:29Speaker 4: life and hello.
- 33:38Speaker 6: Wow, Redline is not.
- 33:40Speaker 3: This is the Woody Show, all right, So some questions
- 33:45Speaker 3: for the ladies. Okay, Greg, what what made you wonder
- 33:51Speaker 3: about this in.
- 33:51Speaker 14: The first place.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Honestly don't know, all right, So we're gonna try to
- 33:55Speaker 2: get some answers to this term used. I hear women
- 33:57Speaker 2: complain about it. I think I might have seen it
- 34:00Speaker 2: referenced in a stand up special, and I thought, I've
- 34:03Speaker 2: heard that my whole life. What on earth is it?
- 34:07Speaker 1: What is a.
- 34:11Speaker 12: What is that?
- 34:12Speaker 3: Your whole life?
- 34:13Speaker 8: Without knowing?
- 34:14Speaker 2: No, I know it's bad stuff.
- 34:15Speaker 8: But like a pap smear is when they well I'm
- 34:20Speaker 8: sure you know how they do it.
- 34:21Speaker 3: They get all over there, Okay, you have to explain it.
- 34:23Speaker 8: It's it will the pap smer I believe, tests specifically
- 34:27Speaker 8: for cervical cancer. And so they put the little duck
- 34:30Speaker 8: bill in you, a little speculum and they just really get.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Open, isn't it HPV.
- 34:37Speaker 8: Well I think that can cause cervical cancer.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's all part of it.
- 34:41Speaker 8: And then they take like a little another little tool
- 34:43Speaker 8: and they scrape some cells off your cervice, super pleasant,
- 34:47Speaker 8: like a something a little more abrasive.
- 34:50Speaker 3: It feels like, no, they only I mean that's they
- 34:54Speaker 3: just do the Q tip. Usually I think I feel
- 34:57Speaker 3: like I've gotten so yeah, maybe I've had them.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I've had them, have to cut stuff out before too,
- 35:02Speaker 2: but then.
- 35:04Speaker 8: Something too different.
- 35:05Speaker 2: That's if you have an abnormal PAP.
- 35:07Speaker 10: So they'll kind of let's swab around and then they yeah,
- 35:10Speaker 10: they send it to the lab and then they go, okay,
- 35:12Speaker 10: it's normal. If anything comes back abnormal, then they have
- 35:16Speaker 10: to check for more things, and that's when they might
- 35:17Speaker 10: kind of scrape something out and then.
- 35:19Speaker 3: That But there's a question like why why do they
- 35:22Speaker 3: got to crank you up so open?
- 35:24Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 35:24Speaker 3: Like, because that's that's the thing I've heard women complain
- 35:28Speaker 3: about the most are those what they called.
- 35:31Speaker 8: Speculator Well, a pap smear and a pelvic exam are
- 35:34Speaker 8: two different things. You usually get them at the same time,
- 35:36Speaker 8: but they're the pelvic exam. It looks at the whole area,
- 35:41Speaker 8: all the inns and the outs and the sides and
- 35:43Speaker 8: the middles and the backs and the fronts. And then
- 35:46Speaker 8: while you're in there, you're gonna go go get up,
- 35:48Speaker 8: but they feel around. Oh yeah, they get.
- 35:51Speaker 10: Up and they they're checking for cysts and other things.
- 35:54Speaker 10: There are hands, yes, hands, yeah, they're like all right, now, relax,
- 35:59Speaker 10: you're just gonna feel some pressure.
- 36:00Speaker 2: They get the whole hand in there.
- 36:02Speaker 8: Well, a couple of fingers.
- 36:04Speaker 1: They do it.
- 36:04Speaker 3: They do that, and that's a big deal.
- 36:06Speaker 8: At the same time, they press on your abdomen.
- 36:09Speaker 9: Right, Oh yeah, it's like it's not.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Blocking, like checking, like checking walls and stuff.
- 36:14Speaker 6: Yeah, does it Gina, Sammy?
- 36:16Speaker 3: Does it hurt? One?
- 36:18Speaker 8: It doesn't mean anymore.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to relax and you'll be.
- 36:22Speaker 8: Wait, Morgan, you've had one? Yes, Yeah, I've had two.
- 36:24Speaker 3: I haven't had enough. You've had to Gina, you've had two?
- 36:27Speaker 3: I had to, Morgan.
- 36:28Speaker 8: Ye, since you were what how old?
- 36:30Speaker 3: Since I think I got my first one when I
- 36:32Speaker 3: was like twenty? How old are you waiting?
- 36:34Speaker 11: So?
- 36:34Speaker 3: How does that work?
- 36:35Speaker 2: I thought that to get them every year once you
- 36:37Speaker 2: start having sex? Yeah yeah yeah, but did yours not hurt?
- 36:41Speaker 3: Morgan? What's It feels really awkward and like cold and
- 36:44Speaker 3: obviously uncomfortable, But it never hurts. I have friends that
- 36:47Speaker 3: say they hurt, and I'm like, all right, well we
- 36:48Speaker 3: have a new uh we have a new thing for Morgas.
- 36:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Oh god, she goes and gets a.
- 36:53Speaker 8: PAP smear somewhere you never go again.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Jack, Yeah, check that a bit harder. So something
- 37:01Speaker 2: else that I could easily google you said, Sammy said,
- 37:04Speaker 2: if you have a normal pap is pap Does that
- 37:08Speaker 2: stand for something? What the hell?
- 37:09Speaker 13: Actually, I don't know, or is it just short for
- 37:11Speaker 13: pap smear? Say, I know, I don't know, all right,
- 37:16Speaker 13: I do have the answer for that. It's named after somebody.
- 37:19Speaker 3: The guy of course from pat Smear Pet Yeah, yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 3: he plays for.
- 37:27Speaker 9: These are one of the punk bassist. No, it's for
- 37:30Speaker 9: a Greek physician, George Papacas. Of course.
- 37:37Speaker 8: It's always named after dude.
- 37:39Speaker 9: Yeah, all his friends call him pap dog'd.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Yours. And the word smear is because it looks like
- 37:45Speaker 3: what you get put on a bagel smear.
- 37:49Speaker 10: And I will say, too, Greg, just for your research purposes,
- 37:52Speaker 10: that when you go when you get a pap smear,
- 37:54Speaker 10: because you're laying there and you're looking up. Some people
- 37:56Speaker 10: put little pictures on on the ceiling, like a snoopy
- 37:59Speaker 10: or other thing.
- 38:00Speaker 8: I've never seen that, are not. There's always pictures and.
- 38:05Speaker 10: Babies, yeah, like rand Oh yeah, I hate I've seen
- 38:09Speaker 10: that because they do a lot of ivy effort deliveries
- 38:10Speaker 10: and yeah, it's all the babies they've delivered.
- 38:14Speaker 9: You can't show like Netflix and stuff. I be nice
- 38:17Speaker 9: how long is the process?
- 38:18Speaker 8: Only a few minutes. But then when they're like, you
- 38:21Speaker 8: feel really cheap afterwards because they're like, Okay, you're done,
- 38:23Speaker 8: clean yourself up.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Get out of here. Like there's just a lot of
- 38:26Speaker 3: they just walk out.
- 38:27Speaker 8: You're in a paper gown, and you yourself with the
- 38:30Speaker 8: paper gown.
- 38:32Speaker 9: You at least watch beast video while you're doing that'd
- 38:35Speaker 9: be nice.
- 38:36Speaker 8: And that's usually the only time that they're like open
- 38:38Speaker 8: to questions.
- 38:39Speaker 3: So you really got to like be on you know,
- 38:41Speaker 3: be on your feet.
- 38:42Speaker 8: You have to be like anyway, Oh so when I
- 38:45Speaker 8: am like, that's not a great time to ask questions,
- 38:47Speaker 8: but that's usually the option.
- 38:49Speaker 3: It's like the dentists like, why are you asking me
- 38:50Speaker 3: questions right now? Exactly?
- 38:52Speaker 10: Oh no, I think it's better rather than awkward silence
- 38:55Speaker 10: while that's happening, Like, let's just talk and pretend it's
- 38:57Speaker 10: not happening.
- 38:57Speaker 9: Ask me questions.
- 38:58Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 39:00Speaker 2: On vaginal question for the ladies, we were recently talking
- 39:03Speaker 2: about sizes like, oh, you're a thirty two pants, you know,
- 39:07Speaker 2: thirty two in seam or an eleven shoe. Do you
- 39:10Speaker 2: have some sort of seminar as a young woman to
- 39:13Speaker 2: learn how complicated women's sizing is or is it something
- 39:16Speaker 2: that is just through osmosis that you figure out you just.
- 39:19Speaker 8: It's trial and error because because with vanity sizing, it's like,
- 39:23Speaker 8: oh I'm a two and yep or whatever. It's all
- 39:26Speaker 8: different depending on the stone.
- 39:27Speaker 3: It's all lies. Yeah, so dumb.
- 39:28Speaker 9: Yeah, it's like ultraproductive.
- 39:31Speaker 8: Like that's why in wedding dresses, you it's the true
- 39:34Speaker 8: size of like the size it's always been. So you
- 39:36Speaker 8: could be like, I'm a size six, but in wedding
- 39:39Speaker 8: dresses you're like a twenty two.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Well what are you?
- 39:41Speaker 3: You're like one of the tiniest people I've ever met. Yes, yeah,
- 39:43Speaker 3: what's your size?
- 39:44Speaker 2: I guess it depends on what you're doing.
- 39:45Speaker 10: I would like depends on the brand and other stuff,
- 39:48Speaker 10: but like pants would be twenty four or double.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Zero or doubles zero brand, I'm extra really small.
- 39:55Speaker 9: Yeah, there was you know, zero, And then I've met
- 39:59Speaker 9: people that are like, yeah, I'm double zero.
- 40:01Speaker 3: What Yeah, because zero wasn't cool enough.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Well, no, it doesn't have to do with that.
- 40:04Speaker 10: It's because they're trying to kind of keep the sizes
- 40:07Speaker 10: smaller for everyone. So anyone who's a size six can
- 40:10Speaker 10: be like, I'm a size four, but then I'm down
- 40:12Speaker 10: here being a double zero. People are like, that's not
- 40:14Speaker 10: even a size, and they get mad at me, and
- 40:15Speaker 10: I'm like, I didn't make.
- 40:16Speaker 3: The size of It's kind of funny about how they way.
- 40:19Speaker 2: It's the fact girls that I'm mad at you, right right?
- 40:22Speaker 2: I mean, why can't they just do Yeah? I mean
- 40:23Speaker 2: they do it. Is it's very weird when people hear
- 40:25Speaker 2: my size.
- 40:26Speaker 8: They get mad.
- 40:26Speaker 3: But is that like I didn't create sizing?
- 40:28Speaker 2: Is that why it was getting mad? Is that why
- 40:30Speaker 2: they do it?
- 40:31Speaker 3: For the for the women's clothing, they won't say small, medium, large,
- 40:35Speaker 3: extra large, two x or extra small. I've seen for
- 40:37Speaker 3: you know, regular adults that extra small, yeah, or why
- 40:40Speaker 3: couldn't you extra extra small? They do?
- 40:42Speaker 10: They do, That's what I said, I get extra extra
- 40:44Speaker 10: small depending.
- 40:44Speaker 3: On the brand.
- 40:45Speaker 8: Yeah, no, them have it. There's not a uniform thing.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Why can't why can't the pants, you know, be thirty?
- 40:54Speaker 9: It would be nice, that's what we're saying.
- 40:56Speaker 3: But there's some of them are.
- 40:58Speaker 10: Like, I'm a twenty four in pants that are size
- 41:00Speaker 10: like that.
- 41:01Speaker 3: I guess maybe I'm not asking the question right. So
- 41:03Speaker 3: for the ones who do the I'm a size four,
- 41:05Speaker 3: I'm a size set. Does that system exist to make
- 41:10Speaker 3: people feel smaller?
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 41:12Speaker 11: It does.
- 41:12Speaker 8: Now it's called vanity sizing.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Right, So it's a game you all agree to play.
- 41:17Speaker 8: You have a choice if you want to buy clothes.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Yeah, we're not making the sizes.
- 41:20Speaker 2: It's been around for really, but that's what I'm saying.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Let's say you're thirteen years old, you're going out shopping
- 41:24Speaker 2: for clothes by yourself for the first time. How did
- 41:26Speaker 2: you learn all this credit?
- 41:27Speaker 8: You just try it on. You don't have every single brand,
- 41:30Speaker 8: every single store. You're gonna be something different.
- 41:32Speaker 3: And you're sizing. I mean, just for anybody.
- 41:34Speaker 10: As a kid, you're a certain size and it just
- 41:36Speaker 10: goes up from there. And that's just kind of how
- 41:38Speaker 10: you learn about sizing is like you're always do you.
- 41:40Speaker 8: Remember the store in them all five seven, nine?
- 41:42Speaker 3: Yes?
- 41:43Speaker 8: Isn't that because they only sold sizes five, seven and nine?
- 41:47Speaker 2: I mean that's what they say.
- 41:49Speaker 9: I mean I don't know if that was.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Actually it's kind of like cent store. There were things
- 41:53Speaker 3: in there that were more than ninety nine cents, perhaps
- 41:55Speaker 3: like three dollars.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Along the lines of learning sizing, did you learn and
- 42:00Speaker 2: makeup or do you just have to know how to
- 42:03Speaker 2: do that?
- 42:03Speaker 8: You go through some bad phases. Remember we we grew
- 42:06Speaker 8: up before YouTube tutorials. My bangs going every which way.
- 42:11Speaker 10: Was a struggle, like you'd have to try and figure
- 42:14Speaker 10: it out through looking at magazines, yes, because that.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Was really all there was.
- 42:18Speaker 10: And then for me personally, when I started to learn
- 42:21Speaker 10: how to do makeup, I got the Bare Minerals kit.
- 42:25Speaker 10: Oh h, and DVD came with it that showed you
- 42:28Speaker 10: how to like use all the things in the box.
- 42:30Speaker 2: So you popped in the DVD and you're like, okay.
- 42:33Speaker 10: And that's how I like did my makeup for Winter formal,
- 42:35Speaker 10: I think or something and uh. And then after that
- 42:37Speaker 10: and now it's YouTube, so everyone can look at these
- 42:39Speaker 10: girls and go, oh my gosh, they look so much older.
- 42:42Speaker 10: They're only in high school and it's because they have
- 42:44Speaker 10: YouTube to teach them, and the rest of us were.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Just a mess.
- 42:46Speaker 8: It's because they're contouring, which is something I had to
- 42:49Speaker 8: take in college for a theater class. Why do you
- 42:51Speaker 8: just do that anyway? That's crazy? So, yeah, you made
- 42:54Speaker 8: a lot of mistakes. None of us have any eyebrows left.
- 42:56Speaker 8: It's a mess.
- 42:57Speaker 3: That's so complicated, right, jeez, we go through again massage?
- 43:01Speaker 9: Yeah, thank you?
- 43:04Speaker 2: Right, we demand operating.
- 43:08Speaker 3: You were here now now? And so Greg had asked
- 43:14Speaker 3: the question to question late number one about pap smear what?
- 43:18Speaker 3: And then the other one was about makeup.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Like are you born knowing how to do makeup?
- 43:24Speaker 9: Or yes?
- 43:26Speaker 2: Like did you take it right?
- 43:27Speaker 3: Exactly? And as a father of a daughter, I could
- 43:30Speaker 3: tell you that kids experiment, especially little girls, with the
- 43:33Speaker 3: with the makeup. One of the cutest was ever do
- 43:35Speaker 3: you ever see that little girl got into her mom's
- 43:38Speaker 3: lipstick and then her mom and dad confronted her about it.
- 43:41Speaker 3: She's all over her face and they say, hey, where'd
- 43:44Speaker 3: you get that? And she had a creative answer for that.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Did you ask permission for that?
- 43:48Speaker 9: Very cute?
- 43:49Speaker 3: And she says liptick, Yeah, but that's I'm pretty. And
- 43:56Speaker 3: then I like giving my food on it? Bick gone,
- 44:01Speaker 3: Whose was that it was? It was my head?
- 44:05Speaker 9: Dick it was?
- 44:07Speaker 2: Did you ask anybody if you could put it on?
- 44:10Speaker 3: I asked myself, did you see how it looked?
- 44:15Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, how do you if you could describe it?
- 44:18Speaker 2: How would you describe it?
- 44:20Speaker 5: You?
- 44:21Speaker 15: Like, what like a noonie was like the noonie has
- 44:26Speaker 15: bile and her mom's and and he he he pretended
- 44:36Speaker 15: it has so.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Who lipstick is a mine? Yeah, she keeps it alive.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Hold on now they're going to ask her where she
- 44:43Speaker 3: got it?
- 44:43Speaker 15: You bought it?
- 44:44Speaker 2: Yeah, where'd you buy that?
- 44:47Speaker 15: My Yeah, I buy that from homie depot.
- 44:56Speaker 9: It's the WD forty line.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I think.
- 44:59Speaker 3: I think Greg's egg just dropped pretty much. It's The
- 45:02Speaker 3: Woody Show, the Show, and we're into another new hour.
- 45:09Speaker 3: My name's Woody. That's great gory menaces here. Hi, everybody,
- 45:13Speaker 3: there's a Genia grass Sea Bass is here. Carton Arks
- 45:16Speaker 3: coming up for you in this hour, brand new Woody Show.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Cart Arks, there's Sammy Morgan's taking your calls eight seven
- 45:22Speaker 3: seven forty four. Woody sent us a text over to
- 45:25Speaker 3: two to nine eight seven. I think this is just
- 45:29Speaker 3: going to drive Greg crazy.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Crap.
- 45:33Speaker 3: What guy in Montreal he's fighting a parking ticket that
- 45:37Speaker 3: he got in front of his house last week, so
- 45:41Speaker 3: early in the morning, the city installed signs for a
- 45:44Speaker 3: brand new bus stop, so this wasn't already established. It
- 45:47Speaker 3: was a brand new buzz again right in front of
- 45:49Speaker 3: his house, which kind of sucks. Some people just waiting
- 45:53Speaker 3: for the buzz in front of your house. Now the
- 45:55Speaker 3: sign is actually in his front lawn, so they just.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Wow if they asked.
- 46:02Speaker 3: So the crew finished up about seven fifty five in
- 46:04Speaker 3: the morning, and then just ten minutes after the sign
- 46:06Speaker 3: was put up, parking enforcement came by and put a
- 46:10Speaker 3: parking ticket on the guy's car for blocking the bus stop.
- 46:15Speaker 3: But the car was there overnight like so before the
- 46:17Speaker 3: bus stop even existed, before they put the sign up,
- 46:20Speaker 3: and the guy says that greg nobody was given any
- 46:23Speaker 3: advance warning about the bus stop comings, so there was
- 46:26Speaker 3: no way they could have known that they wouldn't be
- 46:27Speaker 3: able to park there, and the city agrees. They say
- 46:31Speaker 3: they never update property owners.
- 46:33Speaker 2: But oh, we agree that we do it the wrong way.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but the ticket will not be reversed, they say.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Once a ticket is written, there's nothing they can do
- 46:41Speaker 3: about it.
- 46:43Speaker 9: We don't have the technology to reverse that.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Who there's nothing we can do. There's nothing we will do.
- 46:49Speaker 3: So if you go to court, you can dismiss it, right,
- 46:53Speaker 3: So can't we just save the whole like dog and
- 46:55Speaker 3: pony show of me showing up just so you can
- 46:57Speaker 3: dismiss it.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Yeah, just do it.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Just dismiss it. What do you mean there's nothing you
- 47:01Speaker 3: can do about it? Course you can, like you wrote it, yeah,
- 47:04Speaker 3: unwrite it.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yeah, tear it up with your hand.
- 47:07Speaker 8: If you propose that for like a sitcom plot, they'd
- 47:09Speaker 8: be like, no, that's stupid. Though it never happen.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Right. I had a comment.
- 47:13Speaker 3: This is years ago. I was doing a contract negotiation
- 47:15Speaker 3: and I was talking to the person who runs the company,
- 47:18Speaker 3: not this company, this is a different company. Yeah, And
- 47:21Speaker 3: we were talking about something and they go, yeah, we
- 47:24Speaker 3: can't do that. I go says, who is it a law?
- 47:27Speaker 2: And they go no.
- 47:28Speaker 3: I think, well, it's all so in other words, it's
- 47:30Speaker 3: a company rule. Right. Well, then the company that you run,
- 47:34Speaker 3: you're the company, and you're agreeing with me that it
- 47:37Speaker 3: is a good idea, And they're like, oh no, it's
- 47:39Speaker 3: a great idea, and I think we should totally do that.
- 47:41Speaker 3: And I go, well, then can't you make that decisions?
- 47:43Speaker 3: It turns out af you're talking with lors, they could.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Oh wow, interesting can yeah.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Policy, when you're doing a contract, you can literally write
- 47:53Speaker 3: anything into it that you want, right as long as
- 47:55Speaker 3: both sides agree to it. Yeah, it could be an
- 47:58Speaker 3: exception to a rule.
- 47:59Speaker 2: It can be. It could be anything.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Yeah, as long as it's legal.
- 48:02Speaker 8: We want a popcorn machine with movie butter in here, ye.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Write it in. That could be written in now is
- 48:07Speaker 3: that standard? Is that standard boiler plate contract language?
- 48:10Speaker 5: No? No? No?
- 48:11Speaker 11: Is it?
- 48:12Speaker 5: So?
- 48:12Speaker 2: Like, what do you mean you can't do anything.
- 48:14Speaker 3: About the ticket? Of course you can. You wrote it right, Yeah,
- 48:17Speaker 3: you can absolutely change that.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll tell you this.
- 48:20Speaker 9: My friend's house had like this no parking sign and
- 48:24Speaker 9: then so one night my friends and I we went
- 48:27Speaker 9: and cut it down in the middle of the night
- 48:29Speaker 9: and they didn't put it back up for years.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's not like they're checking. It's like they're
- 48:37Speaker 3: they're rolling around their little golf cart thing going, well,
- 48:39Speaker 3: there's supposed to be a sign there. It was a
- 48:41Speaker 3: sign there.
- 48:42Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Right, we're gonna take a quick break and then we're
- 48:45Speaker 3: gonna bring sea bass in.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Uh.
- 48:48Speaker 3: And then we got some woody show cart narks coming
- 48:50Speaker 3: up for you here this well right after right after
- 48:53Speaker 3: the break show and welcome back. Yep, it's Tuesday and
- 49:03Speaker 3: time for cart arks ranks agents of Bastian Patrol in
- 49:08Speaker 3: these streets, the parking lots all across our fine land.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Try to get these lazy bones bastards just to do
- 49:14Speaker 3: the right thing their cards, But it always turns into
- 49:18Speaker 3: some kind of back and forth, some type of explosive situation. Ye,
- 49:23Speaker 3: people's masculinity. Sometimes it's like you think it's being called
- 49:26Speaker 3: in the question. No, it's just like, how about you
- 49:27Speaker 3: just do the right thing, the moral thing, and return
- 49:29Speaker 3: that cart man character not your masculine Yeah, that's all
- 49:32Speaker 3: you gotta do.
- 49:32Speaker 9: Cards carden Arts, What you're gonna do, What you're gonna
- 49:36Speaker 9: do when they not on you?
- 49:37Speaker 3: Cardinarks, card Arks, What You're gonna do.
- 49:40Speaker 2: What you're gonna do.
- 49:41Speaker 5: When they not on you?
- 49:44Speaker 6: Arks is filmed alongside the men and women of Cardinards.
- 49:47Speaker 2: List of discretion is advised. All right.
- 49:50Speaker 3: So the video I saw most recently, you were walking
- 49:54Speaker 3: around some skank like it looks like something right from
- 49:58Speaker 3: the av Ends.
- 50:00Speaker 13: That was actually a repost from quite a while ago
- 50:02Speaker 13: Steph Sugar. And she is a person of only fan you.
- 50:07Speaker 13: So I judged a book by its cover is thank You.
- 50:12Speaker 3: And she like a suicide girl. I believe she was
- 50:15Speaker 3: at one.
- 50:15Speaker 13: Point from Albuquerque. And she does like she's doing something
- 50:18Speaker 13: where she's doing like a thing with three boobs.
- 50:21Speaker 9: Now, I.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Just thought that was one of the more recent post,
- 50:26Speaker 3: but I don't remember seeing that chick before we did repost. Well, yeah,
- 50:29Speaker 3: that's the thing.
- 50:30Speaker 9: That's why, that's why you repost, because not everyone can
- 50:32Speaker 9: go back to your whole archive.
- 50:33Speaker 3: But also but also it stood out because for hot
- 50:37Speaker 3: ass No, it stood out because like you typically don't
- 50:40Speaker 3: bring people out to be you know, like honorary agents.
- 50:44Speaker 3: We get those requests all the time, like a sea bats,
- 50:46Speaker 3: let me come out with you to be a special
- 50:48Speaker 3: type of person, right, like somebody from OnlyFans and who
- 50:51Speaker 3: cares about cards?
- 50:53Speaker 2: Sure?
- 50:53Speaker 3: Well this week brand new card arks?
- 50:55Speaker 2: What you got? All right?
- 50:56Speaker 3: So this one is going to be I know, controversial,
- 50:58Speaker 3: but it shouldn't be.
- 51:00Speaker 13: And it has to do with what do the cart
- 51:02Speaker 13: narks do when there are young, young young people around
- 51:04Speaker 13: little ears? Okay, now what happened here is the setup
- 51:08Speaker 13: is very important. Is this lady, this big old you know,
- 51:11Speaker 13: suburban housewife slug she dropped her She dropped her cart
- 51:16Speaker 13: off in the spot next to her car when there's
- 51:18Speaker 13: a cart return directly behind her. Straight shot, easy pasy,
- 51:21Speaker 13: fifteen seconds, classic story. Now I walk up to her
- 51:25Speaker 13: and I you know, give the whole I'm on the
- 51:28Speaker 13: I'm on the sidewalk and look at it and seeing
- 51:29Speaker 13: her in her passenger seat is not.
- 51:31Speaker 3: A little kid.
- 51:31Speaker 9: It's someone who could sit in the front seat.
- 51:33Speaker 13: So it's a bigger kid, maybe fifteen, I don't know, whatever,
- 51:35Speaker 13: but big enough where you can usual about on an aproach.
- 51:37Speaker 3: When there's littlekis involve because you don't want them to
- 51:39Speaker 3: get scared or hurt or whatever.
- 51:41Speaker 9: But big kid front seat. I'm like, okay, either one
- 51:44Speaker 9: of you could take this card back.
- 51:45Speaker 2: It's a learning opportunity, exactly.
- 51:47Speaker 13: Well, her and the mom looks at me, sees me
- 51:50Speaker 13: standing there for a good four and a half five minutes.
- 51:52Speaker 13: I timed it down on the video. I'm standing there
- 51:54Speaker 13: pointing at the cart, and she's this is a classic
- 51:56Speaker 13: move where they try to.
- 51:56Speaker 9: Wait you out that long. Oh absolutely, it's happened before.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Where four or five minutes where you're just like it's
- 52:02Speaker 2: a stare down.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Well, but here's the thing.
- 52:04Speaker 9: She's on her phone the entire time doing whatever, So
- 52:06Speaker 9: I figure, oh, she.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Why don't you just leave?
- 52:08Speaker 9: She well, she a good thing to bring up, Woody,
- 52:11Speaker 9: because she could have just left.
- 52:12Speaker 3: But she's looking at me.
- 52:14Speaker 9: She's smiling, she's on her phone. She probably looking what
- 52:15Speaker 9: carton arks are.
- 52:16Speaker 2: She's already in the cart, the in the car.
- 52:18Speaker 3: They're back, they're in the car. They're sitting there next
- 52:20Speaker 3: to the cars and so ford.
- 52:22Speaker 13: But I know what's gonna happen is eventually when I leave,
- 52:24Speaker 13: she's gonna wait for that moment to drive away, because
- 52:25Speaker 13: clearly she knows what's going on.
- 52:26Speaker 9: I'm standing there. She's not scared.
- 52:28Speaker 3: She knows what the deal is. Yeah, I'm pointing at
- 52:30Speaker 3: the car.
- 52:30Speaker 2: She could use that time just put the car. Oh yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 2: she could have put the whole lot back at the store.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Now listen, Now that's the whole setup.
- 52:36Speaker 13: When I find when she does finally do what I predicted,
- 52:38Speaker 13: where she gets away right and I put the magict
- 52:40Speaker 13: on the hood, she comes barreling out of that car with.
- 52:44Speaker 3: This excuse, we skip, weird, just left your card there?
- 52:46Speaker 3: She got a trap with her behind her.
- 52:48Speaker 9: Putting the car.
- 52:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I got her. Come in. You are putting my
- 52:53Speaker 3: daughter in danger. What the do you think you're doing?
- 53:00Speaker 9: Lying a hole?
- 53:01Speaker 13: And to me, this is especially scummy because if I
- 53:04Speaker 13: was putting her daughter in danger, why was she sitting
- 53:06Speaker 13: there for five minutes. Why does she stop a running
- 53:08Speaker 13: vehicle to get out and yell at me if I
- 53:10Speaker 13: was truly why is she leaving your.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Kid alone with a dangerous man?
- 53:15Speaker 2: How does that even equate in her head?
- 53:17Speaker 13: Well, because it's these things that I happened before in Cartonnarks.
- 53:19Speaker 13: Is that parents do is they get to pretend that
- 53:22Speaker 13: they're the hero, and they get to put that on
- 53:24Speaker 13: me as I heard a villain putting people in danger,
- 53:27Speaker 13: which is doubly again doubly scummy because the.
- 53:30Speaker 3: People who actually are in danger. Now it's like, okay,
- 53:32Speaker 3: well now no one's telling the truth.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 53:33Speaker 9: Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 53:34Speaker 2: So I point that out to her, all right, will
- 53:36Speaker 2: do you show cart Narks? What do you think you're doing?
- 53:39Speaker 4: Well?
- 53:40Speaker 9: Do you ever? And Tim and a daughter?
- 53:43Speaker 5: Her scare her because you're staring and you're throwing. I
- 53:48Speaker 5: don't give her.
- 53:54Speaker 13: She possessed. Now here's the thing. I think that she
- 53:57Speaker 13: believes what she's saying because you don't act like that.
- 54:00Speaker 13: And I'm looking in her eyes, I could tell like
- 54:02Speaker 13: this is what this wasn't ye, this was an act,
- 54:04Speaker 13: but it wasn't an act, you know, she's being performative,
- 54:06Speaker 13: but she's she's internalized.
- 54:08Speaker 2: This lie somehow sounds hod right, greg.
- 54:13Speaker 9: Sounds like remember that clip of that lady that will
- 54:15Speaker 9: scream about Jesus on TV. Oh, it's super super famous clip.
- 54:22Speaker 3: I was thinking she sounded like the telemarketer, like the
- 54:24Speaker 3: woman who was young at the telemarketer people have died.
- 54:29Speaker 13: And I got I'm asking her. She just says, intimidated,
- 54:31Speaker 13: like how I pointed to the car, I put a
- 54:33Speaker 13: mandat on your car.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Stupidest argument ever.
- 54:35Speaker 13: And I but now, okay, so you think that, oh well, obviously,
- 54:38Speaker 13: if I'm doing all this stuff, emergency, call the cops,
- 54:41Speaker 13: et cetera, or get right back in your car and
- 54:44Speaker 13: don't do that.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Go away, scummy of you.
- 54:48Speaker 4: I'm not doing that to your scummy of you to
- 54:50Speaker 4: use her as a shield for your laziness. Ma'am, that's
- 54:52Speaker 4: a real poor of example you're using.
- 54:55Speaker 2: And she goes, oh, that was it.
- 54:57Speaker 3: So she had to get out scream at me.
- 54:59Speaker 8: Lie, it's she kicked her own car.
- 55:03Speaker 3: That's when she finally sat down in the car. But
- 55:05Speaker 3: the frame of the car hit the ground. So like
- 55:08Speaker 3: even if she don tires gone.
- 55:10Speaker 2: If she believes what she's saying, her daughter's in danger,
- 55:13Speaker 2: and now on top of that, her daughter's so embarrassed.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Oh her daughters imagine that.
- 55:19Speaker 4: Is this?
- 55:19Speaker 3: I got a feeling that this is not new, Like,
- 55:21Speaker 3: if she's acting this way, the daughter is probably used
- 55:24Speaker 3: to her.
- 55:24Speaker 13: Mom flying off the handle. And my mom was like
- 55:26Speaker 13: that when I was a kid. She not like this,
- 55:28Speaker 13: like she would but she would be more mad at us,
- 55:30Speaker 13: Like we get the brunt of things. It wouldn't be
- 55:31Speaker 13: random strangers, and it wouldn't be cart narks in the
- 55:33Speaker 13: parking lot.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Right, this is the kind of woman that uses the
- 55:36Speaker 2: term mama bear yea.
- 55:39Speaker 5: So much. I hate.
- 55:42Speaker 13: Beard. He showed cart narks. So Also, here's a guy
- 55:46Speaker 13: who I walked up to and he parked. He parked
- 55:48Speaker 13: way way far out, like toward the edge of the
- 55:49Speaker 13: parking lot. Now there's not many cart returns out that way,
- 55:52Speaker 13: but that's for a reason because that's where like employees
- 55:54Speaker 13: park or big trucks and stuff.
- 55:56Speaker 9: And so on and so forth. And he he left
- 55:59Speaker 9: his car just sit in that. To him, whatever, who cares,
- 56:00Speaker 9: bah bah blah blah blah my world.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Yeah whatever.
- 56:02Speaker 13: Now, the thing that caught me strange about this guy
- 56:04Speaker 13: is that he was wearing a an LA Clippers basketball jersey.
- 56:07Speaker 13: You get an LA Lakers fanny pack, and then I
- 56:10Speaker 13: know and he has more sports tattoos we'll get to
- 56:12Speaker 13: in a second, and I like all the team right exactly.
- 56:15Speaker 13: But then he but as I approach him, he comes
- 56:17Speaker 13: out also very hot.
- 56:19Speaker 3: That's all. Where the car goes, take it somewhere. Well, See,
- 56:22Speaker 3: the thing is, I can't follow you everywhere?
- 56:24Speaker 2: What about I am?
- 56:24Speaker 3: I gonna be here the next time. Hold it over there,
- 56:26Speaker 3: that's your your car.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Take it over.
- 56:28Speaker 3: It bothers me, but you're gonna keep on doing it
- 56:30Speaker 3: all right? Here we go, car knocks holding mind it.
- 56:34Speaker 3: I feel like you have an idea what I'm doing.
- 56:38Speaker 13: This of course the the classic and we see this.
- 56:40Speaker 13: I get this in comments all the time. If it
- 56:42Speaker 13: bothers you so much, you do it for me. And
- 56:45Speaker 13: as I explained it to him, I can't follow you everywhere.
- 56:48Speaker 13: Every time you litter, don't wash your hands, don't flush
- 56:51Speaker 13: the toilet.
- 56:53Speaker 3: You're trying to teach your kids to make good decisions, right,
- 56:55Speaker 3: And it's like, if you don't like it around us,
- 56:58Speaker 3: you've been fine, but I can't be there. Like when
- 56:59Speaker 3: you're out with your friends or where you're doing something
- 57:01Speaker 3: you have to be Yeah, like I just seen you
- 57:03Speaker 3: didn't know how to make a good decision.
- 57:04Speaker 13: And to your point, what is this is something people
- 57:06Speaker 13: should learn as children. But this man is probably almost fifty.
- 57:10Speaker 13: He's a confused sports fan and he like cart narks.
- 57:14Speaker 13: I think that's the besides picking up cards, that's the
- 57:17Speaker 13: very littlest part of what we do. It is understanding
- 57:20Speaker 13: the lies and the stupidity of human psychology. Now you
- 57:23Speaker 13: would think at this point when you have the same
- 57:24Speaker 13: thing the treatment. Yeah, he's gonna fight me. He's gonna scream.
- 57:28Speaker 13: He jumps out there and I don't even put the
- 57:29Speaker 13: magnet on his car yet.
- 57:30Speaker 2: I just showed it.
- 57:31Speaker 9: I've showed it to him.
- 57:31Speaker 3: What do you do with him? He gets out and
- 57:33Speaker 3: takes the cart back. I mean, but he's he's still
- 57:38Speaker 3: stupid about it.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Whatever I mean, he's taking the cart back.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Yes, I'll take that.
- 57:42Speaker 4: What are you doing?
- 57:42Speaker 15: You're getting a.
- 57:46Speaker 14: Hold on you.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Are you an actor? What do you want? R? Are
- 57:49Speaker 3: you an actor?
- 57:50Speaker 1: No?
- 57:50Speaker 11: No?
- 57:51Speaker 3: From hard work for me?
- 57:52Speaker 4: Okay, you have a lot of sports teams you enjoy. Man,
- 57:55Speaker 4: I'm seeing Lakers Yankees, Steelers. My first jeez, why Leonard
- 58:00Speaker 4: would never I do enjoy orderliness?
- 58:03Speaker 2: That is true?
- 58:04Speaker 3: All right?
- 58:06Speaker 2: Good at least he did it.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's first.
- 58:08Speaker 13: Have you ever ever seen anybody with a both on
- 58:10Speaker 13: his on his sleeve of stupidity? He had a Steeler's
- 58:12Speaker 13: tattoo and a Yankees logo. I've never in my life
- 58:15Speaker 13: never seen it.
- 58:15Speaker 3: And again Clippers and Lakers. On top of that, he
- 58:18Speaker 3: just likes the favorite.
- 58:19Speaker 9: Our our friend, dumbass Tyler. He has uh, some tattoos like.
- 58:23Speaker 3: That on his arm and he is a dumbassy Yeah, mom,
- 58:26Speaker 3: ten's the name, Yeah, Tyler.
- 58:29Speaker 2: But this is pretty interesting. So the guy could walk.
- 58:31Speaker 13: He could walk here, he said, I hope you enjoy
- 58:35Speaker 13: your job. He had every excuse not to do it,
- 58:36Speaker 13: but he didn't.
- 58:37Speaker 9: He actually got out and did it, okay, which is
- 58:39Speaker 9: a weird.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Like he was he could have.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Well, it looks like we have time for one more.
- 58:44Speaker 3: If you got one seas well, show Cardnard. The position
- 58:47Speaker 3: of cart Nark's in the media.
- 58:48Speaker 13: This is from the I guess trillion barstool podcast called
- 58:51Speaker 13: macro Dosing, and they, for whatever reason, they were talking
- 58:55Speaker 13: about putting your you know, picking up up to yourself,
- 58:57Speaker 13: et cetera, et cetera. And this is with one of
- 58:59Speaker 13: their barstool guy is an Arian Foster NFL legend. Also
- 59:02Speaker 13: a guy who doesn't like the cart narks, and he's
- 59:05Speaker 13: some kind of Tennessee Valls fan.
- 59:07Speaker 3: And here's him and them talking about the whole principle.
- 59:10Speaker 16: Let's say there's someone whose wife is like tremendously sick
- 59:14Speaker 16: and they're running to the store to get her a
- 59:15Speaker 16: bunch of stuff and trying to get back home, and
- 59:17Speaker 16: they don't put the car back, and this guy's running
- 59:19Speaker 16: up to their car and slapping on their car, like
- 59:21Speaker 16: is that Is that a good use of anyone's time?
- 59:23Speaker 2: You should call?
- 59:23Speaker 16: Then she's not gonna die, but she's soil This guy.
- 59:27Speaker 9: Can only he needed to put the bottle of medicine.
- 59:30Speaker 16: Well he had to get like he had to get
- 59:31Speaker 16: like a case of gatorade and stuff.
- 59:33Speaker 2: It was the whole thing.
- 59:34Speaker 9: If it's not a di emergency, then you can put
- 59:36Speaker 9: the car back.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Yes, exactly right, thank you, Arian Foster. Why do people
- 59:42Speaker 3: invent these like, Okay, here's the thing. Let's say you're
- 59:45Speaker 3: walking out of the grocery store in your leg breaks. Yeah,
- 59:48Speaker 3: it happen, or if somebody shoots you, or you get
- 59:50Speaker 3: hit by or you get hit by car. In those
- 59:54Speaker 3: situations you get hit by like fine, but he's absolutely right.
- 59:58Speaker 2: If it was that bad, why didn't call the ambulance
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: and why do you need a car? Right?
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: But in any other situation, it doesn't make any sense.
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: Isn't this like the cliche like straw man argument?
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: Exactly yes, And it's not, and it's it's it's not
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: like it takes like you already took the time to
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: get in your car, go to the store, go into
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: the store and get all this stuff, check out, leave,
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: walk to the car, the extra ten.
- 1:00:21Speaker 13: Extra And I don't know why people. And by the way,
- 1:00:23Speaker 13: doctor Phil pulled the same crap on me too. That
- 1:00:25Speaker 13: was the dumbest and and I don't get why people
- 1:00:28Speaker 13: think this is and they think again, that's the point
- 1:00:32Speaker 13: one percent of times. But every time I go to
- 1:00:34Speaker 13: someone in car narcs and I and people say, well,
- 1:00:36Speaker 13: I'm busy, and I asked them and they that's never the.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Store, right, never.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: The excuse is my wife's got explosives.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Never ever.
- 1:00:43Speaker 9: So I just want to say, I just don't want to.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Take that.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I'm entitled.
- 1:00:49Speaker 13: So that's what these guys kind of land with this egg.
- 1:00:51Speaker 13: By the way, the guy who's against me in this clip,
- 1:00:53Speaker 13: it's just like four hundred pounds, just grossly OBEs.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: So why wouldn't he want to be I returned my car?
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Don't that on all of us? Fatty? All right?
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: So here they are wrapping things up.
- 1:01:02Speaker 16: I think that guy's a loser and he's wasting everyone's time.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I think that guy's a loser. I think that guy's
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: a loser.
- 1:01:08Speaker 16: I think that guy's a loser, and he's wasting everyone's
- 1:01:11Speaker 16: time and also committing crimes. Someone running up to your
- 1:01:14Speaker 16: car and slapping a magnet on it with a little
- 1:01:16Speaker 16: wand going we will we woo your lazy look Like, dude,
- 1:01:20Speaker 16: get a job that is his job. That's not a job.
- 1:01:24Speaker 16: It might be his job, it's not a job. Well,
- 1:01:25Speaker 16: it's a job that he does for his job. It's
- 1:01:27Speaker 16: a job for this job.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: It's a sub job.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: It's fun as hell and entertaining, that's right. So he
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: also he finds something you love, find a job that
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: he loves it, right, Yeah, like enjoys. Don't get to
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: dictate how people have income in this country. Brother, are cut.
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: Keep doing the Lord's work.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: Carts doing great things.
- 1:01:47Speaker 13: Brother, that is four time pro bowler, Arian Foster, New
- 1:01:51Speaker 13: Converts and up fish. I need to have a list
- 1:01:53Speaker 13: of celebrity fans and partners.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Well Sea bass Night's work. Somebody actually brought the car back.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: Can't believe it. Let's thank you very much.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Save what you're gonna do?
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: What do you think you're doing?
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: Dover and tim and a My daughter? What did I do?
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: What I say to her? Scare her?
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: Because you're staring and you're throwing this. I don't get
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: her really.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Showing a bit. If you ever got a flat tire
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: on your house?
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Is that for readmad news.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: And today's redneck news. This is from Florida where you
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: got this? Fifty six year old hottie, Shelley Hardwick is
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: her name. She got into what police categorized as an
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: altercation with her boyfriend. Now what they were fighting about,
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: who knows. But what we do know is that things
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: boiled over and got serious when Sally quote this, according
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: to the police report, here picked up a whole watermelon
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: and threw it out.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Oh now that's some upper body strike.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: That's right impressive. Now, she denied trying to hit the boyfriend,
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: telling the officers that she quote only threw the watermelon
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: out of frustration. He is fine by the way, he
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: dodged the melon. But the cops did see watermelon seeds
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: and other things, juices on his face and clothing. Okayes juices,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: and they arrested Shelley for domestic battery. She spent the
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: night in the county jail and now has a restraining
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: order against her. She's not allowed to have any contact
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: with the boyfriend and she's got to wear an ankle
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: bracelet that monitors for alcohol consumption. Oh here's her mugshot. Oh,
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: let's just say she looks like she gives a very
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: soft mouth party.
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: Oh yeah, she has those eyes were ones looking at you,
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: the others looking for you.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: I know, who does. She reminded me of like a
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: touch of downs or something.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Told Oh wow, that's that's that's true.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: That's from Florida fifty six year old Shelley Hardwick, who
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: was arrested after assaulting her boyfriend with a watermelon. That
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: is today's raid. Nick the trance latter at the English
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: alphabet is what menace? He This could be the easiest
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: question you've ever had down. Super Smart is not important
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: to me. The trance latter at the English alphabet is
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: what you don't take you value in that. You guys
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: feel are worry?
- 1:04:30Speaker 14: Wood He show.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Hearing to another New Hour. I'm WOODI that's Greg Gordon.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: Menace is right, Dough, what is up?
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: Hi?
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Bad news for you?
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: By the way, what happened?
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Let me finish the intro first. Gira Seabat Sammy Morgan's here.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Phones are open eight seven seven forty four. Woodie sent
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: us a text over to two to nine to eighty seven. Yeah,
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: bad news for Menace. Do you guys remember how happy
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: he was when four chan got shut down by the hackers?
- 1:04:57Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: He calls four Chan the quote trash fire of the Internet. No,
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: you're confusing me with calls. He calls four chan ho
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: every loser ever?
- 1:05:08Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, sign car, YouTube, dot com, sash cartnarts now.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: Menace If I remember correctly when they got hacked in
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: that story, Cad, I believe your comment was good. Those
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: four Chan people are losers, and I'm glad they're gone.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: I was Woody of the Woody.
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: Show to go back to having sex with your pillows.
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: Menace quote on a.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Well four chan is back from the dead, kind of
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: kind of back.
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: Yeah, I didn't think you would go away.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: You can browse, but posting and images are still down.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: They're begging for volunteer help because shocker, they don't have
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: the staff and that's because they don't have any money
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: because nobody wants to advertise or financially support them. Apparently
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: scripping together enough cash where basic upgrades took them nearly
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: a decade, and they say this hack was quite the
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: role reversal. This is the kind of stuff that four
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: chan does to other people. There's servers were hacked, their
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: source code was stolen, the site was vandalized. The personal
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: info from the moderators and the users were leaked and menaced.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Jode we part four chan like.
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: It's not even like you can't really it's not I know,
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: what do you guys care so much. It's not like
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: it's anonymous, so it's not like you're building a community.
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: You know, it's not like, oh, they are a community,
- 1:06:27Speaker 9: but you don't.
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: But you don't even know who you're talking to.
- 1:06:29Speaker 13: Well, that's the thing is eventually it spills out in
- 1:06:31Speaker 13: the real world. Hbo or aka Max did a documentary
- 1:06:36Speaker 13: on the whole QAnon stuff.
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: Yeah, I remember that.
- 1:06:38Speaker 13: Yeah, and that delved into all these chans, eight Chan,
- 1:06:41Speaker 13: four chan, et cetera. So people sometimes read read stuff
- 1:06:44Speaker 13: on there, then go out and grab guns and do things.
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: So back to my original question, do we need the
- 1:06:49Speaker 8: chance not at all?
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I think you don't really need any of it. Really.
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: I think they'll just jump ship to something like discord
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: or something.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Like yeah or something out.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: Yeah, just one of those things where what I always
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: laughed about is and we give men As a hard
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: time because whenever four chan has come up in the news,
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: he kind of like take a oh guy, you know, yeah,
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: kind of like that.
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: No, I never I never did that. It's just when
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: Sea Bass falsely says that I.
- 1:07:18Speaker 13: Said that as usual as misremembering what happened. Is I
- 1:07:21Speaker 13: know that four champ no, I know, are very good
- 1:07:23Speaker 13: at screwing with Yes.
- 1:07:24Speaker 9: Yeah, and I know where I know where that I
- 1:07:26Speaker 9: never jumped in with any statements. I'm just rebutting whatever says.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: You know, I remember Greg.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: This is from years ago, so I probably don't remember.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Menace is from the San Francisco Bay area, and when
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: we first started working together, I forget how it came up.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: There was a name of a local rapper whose name
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: you could not mention. Greg remember mac Dre mentioned mac dude?
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: Are jesus Okay?
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Well yeah right?
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: So like I somebody came up and somebody on the
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: show might have been me.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I don't remember. I couldn't reference him. I'm like, who the.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Hell is and what the hell is a mac dre dude?
- 1:08:01Speaker 9: That was basically like being in Pittsburgh and saying I
- 1:08:03Speaker 9: don't know who the Steelers are.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: But like what was really funny?
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: Like, but there was there was a thing around it
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: almost like you know how you can't mention Mohammed in
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: certain certain context or light like paper right, a cartoon
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: formed that somebody getting firebombed, right, or like you.
- 1:08:21Speaker 8: Always say what you can't say the word Macbeth in
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: a theater or fire.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: Yeah, when I'm in theater, it's the musicals. Yeah, I
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: always say, that's all those theaters. Yeah, but what what
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: are some other of these like protect not protected, but
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: like things that people like ya. It's like, don't say
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: candy man like but real life stuff.
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: So four chan I was going to say beyond say.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Apparently mac dres he I mean he's dead, right, Oh yeah,
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: mac Ray got killed. Carymore is that got killed in
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: a Gina's home state of Kansas, Kansas.
- 1:08:58Speaker 9: Yeah, don't you jump into a fire to say burning
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: babies or.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: What I'm what I'm saying is like, is like if
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: you were in the San Francisco Bay area, does anybody
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: know or still cares that? What those things? It's like again,
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: you know my parents mentioning like Donnie Iris or something? No, no, no, yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: are there are the murals of him?
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: Like of course?
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to have a mural plast. Yeah, gotta
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: have airbrush. T shirts with angels wings are annual balloon
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: release uh Mohammed four chance mac Dre Beyonce. That's a
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: pretty decent list.
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm sure every city has its own little one.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but just I'm talking about, like overall, just trying
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: to think of whether other protected things are things that
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: people are just so scared of even just to mention it.
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: I mean they're teams too, I mean anybody's teams.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: No, No, I'm talking I'm talking about people like, don't
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: talk about.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: You can't criticize literally any aspect of one, particularly without fear.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: Without fear of retribution about uh in our case complaint letters.
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: I heard a lot about Saint Louis and emos like
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: locals go hard for it.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's garbage pizza, not emails the people.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know, in.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: Saint Louis there's a chain of of pizza places Saint
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: Louis style pizza, which I never even realized was a thing.
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: I heard of. Detroit style had heard of, Yeah, you know, Sicilian,
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: Chicago style, New York style, you've heard of different. I
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: had never heard of Saint Louis style pizza before, and
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: I wish I never had because it is disgusting. It's
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: so gross. It's like this thin Chris Cracker crust they
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: cut into square and they put this cheese they love
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: in Saint Louis called pro.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: Vell on it. It's not even cheese.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a mozzarella and problem, which sounds not
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: that bad, but it's got this weird after flavor. It
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: just sticks to the roof of your mouth a Z. Yeah,
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: it's it blows cheese food. But locals will go hard
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: for my wife, My wife is from Saint Louis.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: When you try a dog on it, yeah, and I
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: don't she loves it you physically.
- 1:10:56Speaker 13: There's a certain thing like with in and out fries
- 1:10:58Speaker 13: for instance, like locals, I think they are monch was
- 1:11:02Speaker 13: not munch has it syndrome.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: But the yeah, the Woody Show.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: So yeah, we got a lot of people hit us
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: up all.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: The time, texting in, calling in emailing, in social media messages,
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: all that stuff. All that stuff is wonderful after hours
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: voicemails love it and we do. We ask, we ask
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: for your feedback all the time, and we're always down
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: to hear out people who are into the show. And
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: even if you have like something you want to you know,
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: complain about maybe something didn't sit well with you, It's fine, Hey,
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: love the show, just want to let that's fine. It's
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: when people go, I demand an apology or they start
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: writing into whom it may concern type stuff, you know,
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: trying to get us quote in trouble, knarking on us
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: or whatever, even though we see it all all right.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: My my other favorite is like a I bet you.
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: Won't read this on the air.
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: Yeah, challenge accept it.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: I bet you won't acknowledge how X y Z or
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: whatever we did it on the radio. Where's the hide?
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: No secret?
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: But some people, unfortunately we have to meet them at
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: the crossroads. All right, So again people just writing in
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: different things. These are all like I mentioned, from people
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: just going into the radio station website and clicking that
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: contact us so it goes to the management on stuff.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: This is from Sarah Kate this first one subject so
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: we promote prostitution? Now really reply request yes, this one says.
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: On March nineteenth, the Woodies Show featured an OnlyFans model
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: as a guest on the show. She was a woman
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: covered in tattoos who sounded like a redneck chainsmoker. That's true.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: She was allowed by the Woody Show to use their
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: platform to shamelessly promote and glorify selling her body online
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: to make matters worse. Everyone on the show, even the women,
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: openly encouraged her and even went as far as to
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: encourage the other women on the show to degrade themselves
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: by following the same path. This is when we had
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: our friend Ice. Who can buy ice?
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Is fun?
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: This is a This is Morgan's new best friend. You
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: guys still talk to animal?
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: I love her so much, it's so cool.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: This was not just irresponsible, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal.
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: To discuss things like OnlyFans on the radio. Yeah, written
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: to the FCC and I hope to get some clarity
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: on that. If I'm right, I will offer my testimony
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: as a witness and hopefully they will sue you or
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: find you are However, that works for this violation of
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: broadcast law, even if it's not found to be technically illegal.
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: The Woody Show, instead of promoting positive values, is guilty
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: of choosing to pedal the idea that self exploitation is
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: a viable career path. Oh, it was a cheap, gross
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: and disrespectful thing to expose to your unsuspecting listeners. It
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: was flat out disgusting. You are broadcasting to a wide audience,
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: including children. Your station should be ashamed you guys. That
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: is from Sarah. We lost Sarah, Sarah, Sarah well speaking
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: out of disgusting.
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: Usually when you reverse these messages and you see where
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: they're coming from, they're usually projecting times they're projected. She's
- 1:14:33Speaker 9: just jealous that she can't get on a weekend that one.
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: She's going to provide testimony to the FCC.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: This is very serious.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: The key where they can sue us. Yeah, the SEC
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: is gonna sue us.
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: And what I heard from that is she's against female
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: empowerment when you're making their own.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: Decisions an entrepreneur. This next one, this is uh from
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: Wayne G again sent to the radio station fe feedback
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: subject have some class. Yeah, this guy didn't even one
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: to reply. Reply requested no, oh, I'm done. Saying this
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: is the worst show in the radio would be giving
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: you too much credit. Do you guys run out of
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: new ideas there? Seriously? What the hell is going on
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: in your studios? All right? Turned on the radio while
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: I was driving to work and had the misfortune of
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: hearing the segment where members of the program were quote
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: butt chugging different beers that awesome. It Not only was
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: it incredibly immature and uninteresting, but it was also straight
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: up not funny. Your job as hosts of a morning
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: show is to entertain, not to influence the masses with
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: perversion and a not so subtle nod to alcoholism. All
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: I listened long enough to realize that there were no
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: safety teams on site during this idiotic segment, which only
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: makes sense coming from a show like this. I eventually
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: changed the dial, feeling disgusted and humiliate for everyone else
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: in your industry. It's sad when the show has to
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: shove alcohol through tubes and up the asses of their
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: co host to try to stay irrelevant. And the worst
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: part is that you guys all thought it was hilarious
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: and that everyone was enjoying it. Well it wasn't. I wasn't.
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: Everyone I have told about it is as mystified and
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: disgusted as I am. Get off the air. Thanks for advertising.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: That's from Wayne.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: We lost Wayne guy.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Goddamn it.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Wayne. Wayne is totally unaware that we had a team
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: of paramedics.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Didn't though insensitivity draining.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: For a political world show.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: It's again sent to the station feedback email from Natalie
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: subject abusive bullying on the Woodie Show. Replied requested, Yes,
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: I usually listen to your station as I drive to work,
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: and while it's not always my cup of tea, I
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: would laugh and enjoy some of the segments on the
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: Woody Show. However, that changed last week when I tuned
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: in the first thing I heard was somebody say that
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: quote all girls name Natalie are fat. I felt my
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: heart sink into my feet and even started to cry,
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: oh no, hey, this was instantly triggering to me. My
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: name is Natalie, and I am not fat. I, like
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: many people, Greg, struggle in silence to gain weight.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Oh no, too much money. I've been known as the bean.
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: Pole, the cute girl with no ass watching.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: And it's something that has caused immense pain in my life.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: Pain.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: I would much rather prefer to be fat than to
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: be forty two years old, ninety four pounds that I
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: am today. Gregs ninety four to say that all girls
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: named Natalie are fat, it's categorically wrong. Not only is
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: this an ignorant assumption, wrong for the reasons I mentioned,
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: but what about for the ones you are fat and
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: feel bad about it. My body gets judged enough on
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: a day to day basis in public, so I also
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: don't need to hear about it on the radio. It's
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: verbally abusive, derogatory, and we all hope that you never
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: have your name lumped in with untruths. That is from Natalie.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: We lost Natalie, Natalie, good God.
- 1:18:45Speaker 8: Yeah, you're definitely not getting Greg sympathy.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: I can't gain weight.
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: I have always had my favorite name for a girl
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: is Natalie. That debbies are fat.
- 1:18:58Speaker 14: I mean they have a cake exactly.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: A Debbies, all of them. I'll give you one more.
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: Okay, these have been pretty amazing.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean it tracks. Yeah, I had one
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: of those roommates.
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: I couldn't gain all night and couldn't gain nap. Bastard.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: I wish I had that bro. All right, This is
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: another one station feedback. This is from Angelica subject vaping
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: discussion reply requested you bet. I was listening to the
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: Morning Show when I heard a man named Greg talk
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: about vaping as a mother of an ex vape addicted teen.
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: I was intrigued to hear where this conversation was going,
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: but I was quickly let down when I heard Greg
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: go on a long rand about how vaping should be
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: legal and allowed in all places, even school especially. Did
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: I say that I don't mind? I I I know
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: you have no problem with vaping.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: I really don't.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: He showed no respect for families or teens battling this
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: addiction now, just went on and on about how much
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: he loves vaping. At one point he even said, quote,
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: keep your laws off my body, Keep your vaping laws
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: off my body. To that, I would say, how about
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: you keep your bad habits away from my kids? Mister gor,
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: Why don't you worry about your own kids. You don't
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: know the hell my husband and I have gone through
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: with our teen son from vaping. He hit it from
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: us for over a year, and once we found out,
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: and thanks to the blessings of God, he was able
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: to quit.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: Not crack.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: Thankfully. Our son has promised us that he will never
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: vape again. But well, no, you' seriously, we had him
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: write it out one hundred times on a piece of
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: But to hear someone on the public radio waves glorifying
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: and demoting vaping is simply disgusting. It's a shame and
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: it will be a long time, if ever, before I
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: will ever be able to listen to this radio station again.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: That is from Angelica. Thanks a lot, right, Yeah, thanks Greg? Yeah,
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: like a do moment, Thanks Greg and Dick.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: I also said, because the kids like her son, don't
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: make it illegal for me, a grown man, to get
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: my vague. That's what I said.
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: Listen this g your old man wants his flawn flavored VP.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: Right, but I can't get it anymore because a sun
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: she's a terrible parents like flawn.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: Oh no, what does that have to do with me?
- 1:21:36Speaker 9: He picked up a vape because he knew you did
- 1:21:38Speaker 9: it and you had a big influence on.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: Right now, you're cool, Greg. Right, Well, there's a there's
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: the cross roads, everybody. You know what after the crossroads,
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: it's always like you took like a really big like
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: one of those big dumps.
- 1:21:49Speaker 9: That Gin took ghost, Yeah, talking about so much.
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: Lighter like yeah, like you rid yourself of this negative
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: energy through these people. Yeah who clearly we are a
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: cutout to be listening to the show anyway. Anyway, thank
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: you for everybody who wrote in that was say some
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: good entertainments.
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: Thank you.
