- 0:37Carmen Lezeth: Hey, Rick, how you doing?
- 0:39Carmen Lezeth: What's up?
- 0:40Carmen Lezeth: Why are you late?
- 0:41Carmen Lezeth: You didn't tell me you're going to be late.
- 0:43Rick Costa: I lost track of time completely.
- 0:45Carmen Lezeth: Really Well, we're going to put that on your time card that you lost some time.
- 0:48Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 0:49Carmen Lezeth: I'm saying All right, how you doing, Tony.
- 0:53Carmen Lezeth: What's up?
- 0:53Carmen Lezeth: Oh a lot.
- 0:56Carmen Lezeth: Y'all always in this negative space.
- 1:00Tony D: No, I'm not.
- 1:00Tony D: Is this?
- 1:00Carmen Lezeth: better for you?
- 1:00Carmen Lezeth: Is that what Cynthia sent you?
- 1:02Carmen Lezeth: I mean brought to your house in a care package.
- 1:03Tony D: It is better for you.
- 1:04Tony D: I just turned the volume up.
- 1:05Tony D: Is it better for you?
- 1:07Andrea: Wait, let me make the screen bigger.
- 1:08Carmen Lezeth: What am I looking?
- 1:09Andrea: at I'm confused.
- 1:12Carmen Lezeth: Tony got a new mic.
- 1:13Carmen Lezeth: Is that the?
- 1:13Tony D: mic Mic check one, two.
- 1:15Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, you're fine.
- 1:16Tony D: Is it working Okay?
- 1:18Tony D: Thank you, hi Melanie.
- 1:20Carmen Lezeth: Is that the mic that Cynthia brought to your house?
- 1:23Tony D: She did not bring it to my house.
- 1:24Tony D: Keep trying.
- 1:25Rick Costa: Hi Andrea.
- 1:27Carmen Lezeth: Hi, how are you?
- 1:28Carmen Lezeth: Andrea and I were about to have a personal conversation and then y'all showed up.
- 1:32Carmen Lezeth: I was like fuck them, we're going to go live, because none of them are here.
- 1:34Andrea: We were scheduling June 1st Carmen, Just saying.
- 1:38Carmen Lezeth: No, not June.
- 1:39Carmen Lezeth: Wait, I thought we said July.
- 1:40Carmen Lezeth: I, we said July.
- 1:47Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to override that and say June 1st.
- 1:48Carmen Lezeth: So just so everyone knows, this is my best friend and I haven't seen her in a long time, and so because she's so busy, we have to schedule time to hang out, and so I demanded it now, because it's been how long, I literally don't know.
- 1:58Carmen Lezeth: It's been months.
- 1:59Carmen Lezeth: And here's the thing it's not like she lives where tony lives or where rick costa lives.
- 2:03Carmen Lezeth: She lives what?
- 2:04Carmen Lezeth: 30 minutes from me well, like 45 on the best day, but yeah, the point is you don't live in another state and we have to schedule time to see each other.
- 2:14Carmen Lezeth: That's very bad.
- 2:14Carmen Lezeth: You know what I?
- 2:16Carmen Lezeth: mean that is correct, but I will take it.
- 2:18Carmen Lezeth: I was giving you till july.
- 2:19Carmen Lezeth: I was saying, july, we can hook that shit up.
- 2:21Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 2:21Carmen Lezeth: Um, so I'm going to start with asking uh, mr rick costa, what was the best thing that happened this week to you that gave you the most joy?
- 2:28Carmen Lezeth: I already know, but go ahead and share baby my son did his final college graduation.
- 2:34Andrea: He's officially dr david costa of physical therapy I didn't even know you had kids, much less a doctor in the house, that's crazy Yep.
- 2:48Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, he has.
- 2:49Carmen Lezeth: How old is your son now 20,.
- 2:50Carmen Lezeth: How old is?
- 2:51Rick Costa: he 25.
- 2:52Carmen Lezeth: 25.
- 2:53Carmen Lezeth: And he is now a doctor, and so I said to you congratulations to you, because parents always act like it was void of them somehow.
- 2:59Carmen Lezeth: But that is just amazing and congratulations, and I'm so happy for you and I'm sorry.
- 3:06Carmen Lezeth: I know you sent me the, you sent me the picture and you know.
- 3:09Carmen Lezeth: You know, my Instagram thing now is like all my social media goes on kind of hold now when I'm at work.
- 3:15Carmen Lezeth: So but I did respond right Eventually, didn't I?
- 3:17Carmen Lezeth: It was a day later or something, but congratulations and that was a beautiful picture, yeah, that's a beautiful picture.
- 3:23Carmen Lezeth: Oh my God, yay, that's amazing.
- 3:27Carmen Lezeth: Tony, how about you?
- 3:29Carmen Lezeth: What happened to you this week?
- 3:31Carmen Lezeth: That was joyful and awesome and great.
- 3:32Carmen Lezeth: Make this shit up, even if you don't have it.
- 3:34Carmen Lezeth: Oh my God, that's a god of that baby.
- 3:39Tony D: This week nothing major, nothing special.
- 3:41Tony D: Honestly, honestly, nothing major, nothing special.
- 3:44Tony D: I have to be honest with you.
- 3:46Carmen Lezeth: Anything small that gave you joy.
- 3:48Carmen Lezeth: How about being on the show, seeing my face?
- 3:50Carmen Lezeth: Does that bring you joy?
- 3:51Tony D: Your ponytail?
- 3:52Tony D: Yes, my, ponytail.
- 3:54Carmen Lezeth: Okay, can I tell you, I'm ready to cut my hair, I'm ready to shave my hair.
- 3:58Tony D: Do not cut your hair.
- 3:58Tony D: Do not cut your hair.
- 4:00Carmen Lezeth: Andrea's like.
- 4:01Carmen Lezeth: Andrea's going to be like absolutely not We'll have that conversation later.
- 4:08Carmen Lezeth: I really am at the point where I'm getting too much gray hair and I'm tired of dyeing it and I'm like if I just buzzed, just did a really short haircut, it would just be different, it would be funny.
- 4:23Rick Costa: I'd be like Wakanda forever.
- 4:25Rick Costa: You'd be a Dora Milaje.
- 4:27Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying Would you think differently if I cut my hair?
- 4:32Rick Costa: No, of you.
- 4:33Tony D: No, the real reason.
- 4:35Tony D: And this is a good question, because a lot of women do cut their hair after a certain time.
- 4:38Tony D: Why do women cut their hair?
- 4:39Tony D: You want it to grow.
- 4:41Tony D: It's a lot of work.
- 4:43Andrea: It's a lot of work.
- 4:43Andrea: It's a lot of work.
- 4:43Andrea: You're just tired of the bullshit, tony, that's what it's like.
- 4:46Carmen Lezeth: You're just done, I have gray hair, just so everyone knows.
- 4:49Carmen Lezeth: Wait, tony, tony, let me tell you, I have gray hair.
- 4:52Carmen Lezeth: It's always like, it's like alva, is it alvira?
- 4:55Carmen Lezeth: Whatever?
- 4:56Carmen Lezeth: Like I have gray hair that goes like this for some it doesn't come here, but it's like here, and I have to dye it like every three weeks because it just looks so bad.
- 5:03Carmen Lezeth: Well, I mean, I'm older, what do you want me to do?
- 5:05Carmen Lezeth: But I hate that.
- 5:07Carmen Lezeth: I would rather.
- 5:07Rick Costa: Let it grow out.
- 5:08Carmen Lezeth: I tried to let it go all gray, but I don't have enough gray for it to be gray yet.
- 5:13Carmen Lezeth: And Jay, you know what I'm saying, right, yeah, and then I was like, can we just dye it all gray?
- 5:17Carmen Lezeth: But then they're like, but then you'll have the dark hair growing in you with all the gray I will tell you honestly, let it be, let it go natural.
- 5:28Tony D: Some people find it attractive to show that you're carrying your age well, even when you do have, gray.
- 5:34Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to let Andrea answer that question.
- 5:35Carmen Lezeth: Go ahead, andrea, knock it out.
- 5:40Andrea: I'm going to say it's less about what people find attractive and what Carmen feels comfortable with.
- 5:42Andrea: So if she feels like, you know, the bride of Frankenstein, with the two things, thank you.
- 5:46Carmen Lezeth: That's a problem.
- 5:47Carmen Lezeth: I don't even need to be here.
- 5:48Carmen Lezeth: I'm just going to let Andrea do the show.
- 5:51Tony D: Thank you, baby, go ahead.
- 5:51Tony D: This is fantastic, I got you Okay.
- 5:53Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I mean, it just doesn't look good to have miscolored hair.
- 5:58Carmen Lezeth: But I was also thinking.
- 6:02Tony D: I'm ready for a change If you're ready for a change.
- 6:03Tony D: I understand that fully.
- 6:04Tony D: I've also understood that in the summertime it gets hot and women cut their hair because of that as well.
- 6:08Carmen Lezeth: Well, here's the thing I don't wear wigs right.
- 6:10Carmen Lezeth: So a lot of black women, people of color, wear a lot of wigs, which would be in my kind of best interest if I ever was that person.
- 6:18Carmen Lezeth: But a part of me was like that might be actually fun to cut it so short and then go different wigs every once in a while.
- 6:25Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 6:25Carmen Lezeth: Just to have kind of a fun flavorful.
- 6:28Carmen Lezeth: Just throw that on and look at it.
- 6:30Carmen Lezeth: Tony's like.
- 6:31Carmen Lezeth: No, I can feel Tony's like.
- 6:34Tony D: No, I listen to your perspective.
- 6:36Tony D: I listen to a lot of women's perspective when they say they would do different hairstyles.
- 6:38Tony D: So that's how I learn.
- 6:39Tony D: So go ahead please.
- 6:40Carmen Lezeth: It's okay, You're being very nice, Rick.
- 6:43Carmen Lezeth: What do you think I should cut my hair?
- 6:44Carmen Lezeth: Huh.
- 6:46Rick Costa: You can do whatever you want to do.
- 6:47Rick Costa: It's all about how does it make you feel better?
- 6:51Rick Costa: That was very nice.
- 6:53Rick Costa: Just, if you do the wig thing and you do a lot of styles, don't let the white people be like, oh, can I touch it?
- 7:00Carmen Lezeth: Don't do that now anyways.
- 7:01Carmen Lezeth: That's not about it, that's the whole problem.
- 7:02Carmen Lezeth: They do that now.
- 7:03Rick Costa: anyways, that's not a problem.
- 7:03Rick Costa: That's the whole problem.
- 7:05Carmen Lezeth: We don't do that.
- 7:06Carmen Lezeth: So I honestly, just to be straight up, I did not think Andrea was going to make it because we talked she was going to be traveling.
- 7:12Carmen Lezeth: You just got back yesterday.
- 7:14Carmen Lezeth: So, even though I sent her back a few hours ago, a few hours, ago.
- 7:18Carmen Lezeth: I'm so sorry she's exhausted.
- 7:20Carmen Lezeth: I did this whole agenda knowing that she would probably not be on and I realized we can't talk about X-Men 97 and we can't talk about 9-1-1.
- 7:28Andrea: You can talk about it.
- 7:29Andrea: I just won't have anything to add.
- 7:30Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, well, here's the thing.
- 7:32Carmen Lezeth: Even if I talked about it, they're going to be upset because I fucking hated this damn show, but wait.
- 7:42Tony D: Tony have you seen X-Men 97?
- 7:44Tony D: .
- 7:44Rick Costa: You hated it, rick.
- 7:45Rick Costa: Here we go Okay.
- 7:46Carmen Lezeth: Andrea, just sit and look as beautiful as you always do, just relax.
- 7:49Tony D: Andrea, I need you to excuse us for a second.
- 7:51Tony D: Yeah, go ahead, Come and resist.
- 7:51Tony D: Talk amongst yourselves.
- 7:52Tony D: Why did you hate the show?
- 7:55Carmen Lezeth: Okay, Rick and I have already talked about it, so he's prepared.
- 7:58Carmen Lezeth: Okay, here's the thing.
- 8:00Carmen Lezeth: I didn't watch it growing up.
- 8:02Carmen Lezeth: I've never seen it growing up at all.
- 8:05Carmen Lezeth: When I was watching it I was texting, I think Cynthia or Rick, and I was like this is like a fucking Spanish novella.
- 8:15Carmen Lezeth: There was so much drama, so much like over the top soap opera shit in a fucking cartoon.
- 8:18Carmen Lezeth: I was like this is stupid shit.
- 8:18Carmen Lezeth: And because I don't know the comic books, I'm not a comic book person.
- 8:23Carmen Lezeth: I'm a Marvel.
- 8:24Carmen Lezeth: Look at Tony's dying.
- 8:24Carmen Lezeth: I like the Marvel movies, but I'm not a comic book aficionado.
- 8:29Carmen Lezeth: I was totally freaked out by the Magneto and what's her name?
- 8:33Carmen Lezeth: Rick Rogue.
- 8:34Rick Costa: Rogue's relationship.
- 8:37Carmen Lezeth: I'm like Magneto she's too young and I was so confused and disgusted by that.
- 8:42Carmen Lezeth: But then Rick explained to me that only in the movies did they make Rogue so young, but it doesn't even I mean.
- 8:47Carmen Lezeth: So that was helpful because I was freaking out about that.
- 8:50Carmen Lezeth: But also I just never knew that Magneto and Rogue were a thing, so it grossed me out.
- 8:55Carmen Lezeth: It just grossed me out completely.
- 8:59Carmen Lezeth: Because, she was in love with Wolverine in the movies.
- 9:02Carmen Lezeth: Okay, other than that, let me just add one more thing.
- 9:05Carmen Lezeth: The animation is so dated.
- 9:06Carmen Lezeth: Right, I mean, that's the whole thing.
- 9:08Cynthia: Hey, ted, I'm tired of dying my hair too.
- 9:09Carmen Lezeth: I don't face purple crying, wear wings either.
- 9:12Carmen Lezeth: What x-men?
- 9:14Carmen Lezeth: 97 was fantastic.
- 9:15Carmen Lezeth: Hey carmen and joy antonio okay, so that's my look at I think.
- 9:19Carmen Lezeth: let me just there's the last thing, and then you guys can talk about it, but only for five minutes, because I don't want to spend my whole show talking about a show I didn't like.
- 9:24Carmen Lezeth: Here's the last thing, and then you guys can talk about it, but only for five minutes, because I don't want to spend my whole show talking about a show I didn't like.
- 9:26Carmen Lezeth: Here's the thing I don't want to have to watch previous shows to enjoy a piece of art.
- 9:33Carmen Lezeth: That's like when somebody says, oh, you didn't like the movie, you should read the book.
- 9:36Carmen Lezeth: I shouldn't have to go read the book to enjoy the movie.
- 9:39Carmen Lezeth: Those are two different pieces of art.
- 9:41Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 9:42Carmen Lezeth: So I think that if I had grown up watching X-Men the cartoon, the animation, whatever maybe I would have an appreciation to it.
- 9:49Carmen Lezeth: But no, okay, that's it.
- 9:51Carmen Lezeth: Go ahead, tony and Rick, do your thing.
- 9:53Tony D: Rick, do you mind if I go first?
- 9:55Tony D: Go right ahead, Andrea do you mind if we carry this conversation?
- 9:58Carmen Lezeth: Andrea's.
- 9:58Carmen Lezeth: Fine, she's half asleep, it's okay Five minutes.
- 10:05Tony D: Five, five minutes I will talk about this without giving any spoilers.
- 10:06Carmen Lezeth: Honestly, you can give spoilers, because I'll give them all out to everybody.
- 10:09Tony D: I'll do that.
- 10:09Tony D: The thing is you don't have a previous experience with them.
- 10:12Tony D: I get that.
- 10:13Tony D: That's cool.
- 10:13Tony D: That makes sense.
- 10:14Tony D: The animation being dated, they did keep it to what it was back in 92, 93.
- 10:19Tony D: I actually did like that because a lot of the new animation can be an issue.
- 10:23Tony D: It's one of the reasons why I don't like some of the newer cartoons and what they're doing with the animation.
- 10:27Tony D: If you remember the Dragon Ball Z days, they had issues with the animation messing with people mentally because it would activate people who have seizures.
- 10:35Carmen Lezeth: I've never watched any of that anime.
- 10:38Carmen Lezeth: Kind of crappy shit I'm just telling you.
- 10:41Tony D: I got you my synopsis on the whole thing.
- 10:43Tony D: I understand your perspective.
- 10:44Tony D: Let me tell you this this X-Men 97 was a darker version of X-Men 92, if you will, because it went a little bit more evil.
- 10:54Tony D: If you will, I actually did credit how they changed the storyline up.
- 10:57Tony D: As far as Magneto and Rogue, I kind of want to give you that because in the movie Magneto was tight with Mystique.
- 11:03Tony D: Ever watch the cartoon or read the comics, whatever Mystique is Rogue's mom.
- 11:09Tony D: I kind of give you that.
- 11:10Tony D: That was cool.
- 11:11Tony D: They had a little bit of a romantic relationship that was messed up.
- 11:13Tony D: I kind of give you that a little bit.
- 11:15Tony D: I like what they did with the storyline.
- 11:16Tony D: I am actually a fan of X-Men 97.
- 11:18Tony D: I thought they did a damn good job.
- 11:20Tony D: As somebody who did watch the cartoon, back in the day I even watched X-Men Evolution.
- 11:23Tony D: This went deeper than that and it went better than that.
- 11:27Tony D: I like what they did with Cable.
- 11:28Tony D: I thought that was phenomenal.
- 11:29Tony D: I like what they did with Magneto and Professor X and how they're bringing everybody together.
- 11:33Tony D: To me this is a new Marvel phase.
- 11:34Tony D: They were doing different phases of Marvel, trying to bring everything up for what's coming next.
- 11:38Tony D: I like what they did doing this one down in my five minutes.
- 11:43Tony D: Go ahead, rick.
- 11:43Tony D: I hope we pull out some news.
- 11:47Rick Costa: Well, I mean, as far as the animation style, it's on purpose, because again they're trying to make it a continuation of the old version.
- 11:52Rick Costa: It's definitely better than the old version.
- 11:54Rick Costa: If you look at the old version, they're like, oh okay, yeah, but they definitely did that on purpose.
- 11:57Rick Costa: And yeah, x-men has always been telenovela, soap opera, drama, always.
- 12:02Rick Costa: It's always been that way with the comics.
- 12:03Rick Costa: You just go bilingual on us, wow, yeah.
- 12:06Rick Costa: Well, yeah, it's always been that way, but people are loving it.
- 12:11Rick Costa: I've been seeing so many people review it.
- 12:12Rick Costa: I actually did a video reviewing the first episode on YouTube and I said I'm only going to do another one if I get at least 25 views within a week.
- 12:31Carmen Lezeth: And I'm already up to 20.
- 12:32Rick Costa: I'm like, oh shoot, I'm in trouble now I gotta do something.
- 12:33Rick Costa: Probably, cynthia, help us out.
- 12:34Rick Costa: We're talking about x-men 9 to 7.
- 12:35Rick Costa: Go ahead, rick.
- 12:35Rick Costa: So the original one, the old one, was definitely much more kid friendly, like wolverine.
- 12:37Rick Costa: You never saw him slice and dice a person.
- 12:40Rick Costa: Robots yes, this one, no, this is adults.
- 12:44Rick Costa: This is for the kid, the people that were kids and y'all are adults.
- 12:47Rick Costa: Now that's for us.
- 12:48Rick Costa: Yes, it is the last episode you just saw.
- 12:50Rick Costa: He skewered somebody.
- 12:52Rick Costa: It's like whoa, um, so yeah, but if you don't like anime, it's like you know.
- 12:56Rick Costa: This reminds me of the conversation we had, carmen of what's the guy that he said comic movies can't be good because they're comic.
- 13:03Rick Costa: He didn't say it in those words, but because they're comic movies, he's like they can't be on the same level or on the par of other movies.
- 13:08Rick Costa: Who's that guy?
- 13:09Rick Costa: What's that guy?
- 13:09Rick Costa: I don't know who we're talking about.
- 13:10Rick Costa: I don't know somebody who's a big, famous movie person, but he's, he doesn't take a comic.
- 13:16Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I don't believe that at all.
- 13:17Carmen Lezeth: I believe any story can be told and shared.
- 13:20Carmen Lezeth: I think I think what I'm believing in this because afterwards I told you I went and looked at reviews.
- 13:24Carmen Lezeth: I went to Rotten Tomatoes because I was shook by it, but I think it's people who have been following it forever who have watched the cartoons.
- 13:33Carmen Lezeth: You do have to watch the backstory and get into it.
- 13:35Carmen Lezeth: All I'm saying is as somebody who has never been involved watching the cartoons.
- 13:40Carmen Lezeth: It was blah at most and there were, like you could tell by the reviews, like it was either total number fives like awesome praise or people like this totally sucks.
- 13:50Carmen Lezeth: Those are the people that never saw and never were into this kid.
- 13:53Carmen Lezeth: That's what I realized and I felt good about that.
- 13:55Rick Costa: I felt fine because I was like, okay, I'm normal yeah, yeah, there's definitely people that have not seen the old one, though that did like the new one too, too, but I mean, like I said, different strokes for different things, but I think you have to want to watch the prior cartoon.
- 14:09Tony D: You have to be a fan, Carmen.
- 14:10Tony D: I do agree with that.
- 14:11Tony D: I'm a fan of the movies and the characters.
- 14:13Carmen Lezeth: I'm not a fan of the cartoon.
- 14:15Tony D: The cartoon's phenomenal.
- 14:16Carmen Lezeth: Okay, go ahead.
- 14:17Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia your thoughts.
- 14:19Tony D: Go ahead.
- 14:19Tony D: God bless the cartoon.
- 14:26Cynthia: So, yes, I binge-watched all eight episodes at once.
- 14:27Cynthia: So when you text me saying that you got through only five episodes and you were like no, wait, wait, wait, wait, I did that at episode three to Rick and he was like you have to get to episode five.
- 14:38Carmen Lezeth: And that's when I was like I'm done, I watched it to five.
- 14:41Tony D: Watch the rest.
- 14:44Cynthia: So I used to watch the cartoon growing up.
- 14:46Cynthia: So I knew the backstory already.
- 14:49Cynthia: But I kind of agreed with Steve Carman as far as the novella with Jean Grey and Cyclops, because I was kind of getting annoyed with her too.
- 14:58Cynthia: But once you pass episode five, that's when it really starts to get good.
- 15:03Cynthia: Rick was like okay.
- 15:06Carmen Lezeth: I know you just got through three, just do five.
- 15:07Carmen Lezeth: If you get to five, then if you don't like it now, she's like yeah, it can't take that long, it cannot, I ain't gonna lie.
- 15:14Rick Costa: At the end of five.
- 15:15Rick Costa: I was boohooing, I was crying, literally crying.
- 15:26Andrea: Andrea, I would invite you to try to watch 20 minutes of one episode, fuck.
- 15:28Tony D: No, did you watch the cartoon, andrea?
- 15:30Andrea: I don't even know what you guys are fucking talking about.
- 15:35Cynthia: I mean, I've heard of the X-Men movies.
- 15:37Andrea: Didn't know it was a comic book.
- 15:38Andrea: Definitely didn't know it was a series.
- 15:42Andrea: I don't even know my girl.
- 15:44Andrea: I love her.
- 15:46Carmen Lezeth: We miss you, andrea, I love you.
- 15:48Carmen Lezeth: I do agree with this.
- 15:50Carmen Lezeth: With different strokes for different folks.
- 15:52Carmen Lezeth: I do think and I'm glad that people are so happy reading the reviews that people are just getting something out of it, and that's what I think is great about art.
- 15:59Carmen Lezeth: It doesn't have to be for everyone.
- 16:02Carmen Lezeth: Everyone doesn't have to like it.
- 16:04Carmen Lezeth: You can't make someone like something, you know.
- 16:07Carmen Lezeth: Look, I'll say this too.
- 16:08Carmen Lezeth: I'm not a big cartoon animation person.
- 16:11Carmen Lezeth: To begin with, you know, after the age of eight, I think I was kind of done.
- 16:15Carmen Lezeth: You know, I was rehearsing early in the morning, rehearsing at night.
- 16:17Carmen Lezeth: I wasn't a big cartoon watcher.
- 16:20Carmen Lezeth: I will say this Watching this, what's it called?
- 16:22Carmen Lezeth: I will say this Watching this, what's it called?
- 16:23Carmen Lezeth: What is it?
- 16:24Carmen Lezeth: X -Men 97.
- 16:25Carmen Lezeth: It reminded me of don't get upset, but it reminded me of do you guys remember the cartoon Speed Racer?
- 16:32Carmen Lezeth: As a kid, I need something to drink.
- 16:34Tony D: I can't I can't?
- 16:35Carmen Lezeth: You said Speed Racer.
- 16:37Tony D: I'll be right back.
- 16:38Tony D: Are you upset because I said Speed Racer?
- 16:40Tony D: Oh my.
- 16:40Carmen Lezeth: God, you chased him off.
- 16:41Cynthia: What is happening?
- 16:42Carmen Lezeth: Why is he upset?
- 16:43Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying, do you guys remember that cartoon?
- 16:45Carmen Lezeth: He needs to go get his peach schnapps to get through the door he hit a nerve.
- 16:48Rick Costa: Yeah, get out the peach schnapps.
- 16:50Rick Costa: I barely remember it, but I don't think I really watched it.
- 16:55Carmen Lezeth: I hated that show.
- 16:56Carmen Lezeth: It went against whatever show I was watching as a kid and when I was growing up, the person that got to watch TV was always the older person in the room.
- 17:05Carmen Lezeth: He got to choose and he would always watch speed racer and it, and the cartoon reminds me of that.
- 17:11Carmen Lezeth: It's kind of animation, but it's also about racing, and, and I just and I forget what the show was that I wanted to watch, but it came against it.
- 17:18Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, um, but that's what it reminded me of was I was being forced to watch this show because you guys all oh, okay, melanie remembers it, okay, thank you, um, but I, that's what I felt.
- 17:29Carmen Lezeth: And look at the only reason why I watched it.
- 17:30Carmen Lezeth: And you know, rick, rick felt so bad Cause I was like I don't have Disney, so I purchased it for the month just to watch it, and then I canceled it right after.
- 17:38Carmen Lezeth: Well, cause I wanted to see what the hoopla was.
- 17:40Carmen Lezeth: You know what I?
- 17:41Carmen Lezeth: So I, I got it, like on a friday night after hearing these guys talk about it, and then, like by sunday or whatever it was, rick, I was like cancel my subscription, I'm done.
- 17:52Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I'm good, because I don't need anything else on disney, but I was just cracking up like wow, yeah, so I can't believe he left because of that.
- 17:59Carmen Lezeth: No, he's just being silly.
- 18:01Carmen Lezeth: All right, let's talk about something else.
- 18:03Carmen Lezeth: I do want to talk about one show.
- 18:04Carmen Lezeth: Andrea, I know you haven't even had time to watch TV, but it's not what you do.
- 18:07Carmen Lezeth: But, cynthia, you know what I'm going to talk about 911.
- 18:10Carmen Lezeth: Oh my God, rick, have you seen the show?
- 18:14Carmen Lezeth: Your hook right?
- 18:16Carmen Lezeth: 911,.
- 18:16Carmen Lezeth: Have you seen the show?
- 18:17Carmen Lezeth: Is it called 911,?
- 18:19Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, has Tony seen 911?
- 18:28Carmen Lezeth: Has tony seen 9-1-1?
- 18:29Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, yeah, oh, are you not talking to us now?
- 18:30Carmen Lezeth: Oh, he must be on ted show with something right now.
- 18:31Carmen Lezeth: He must be doing like a double time on ted show.
- 18:32Carmen Lezeth: Is ted show on it's?
- 18:32Andrea: like he's running back and forth to each one.
- 18:35Carmen Lezeth: That's what he does though is he on rick?
- 18:37Carmen Lezeth: I'm gonna double check his audio is on.
- 18:39Rick Costa: Obviously you know how he is, you know how he is he, you know how he is he's making his drink.
- 18:48Carmen Lezeth: I'm just going to say this there are very few shows that I get addicted to quickly.
- 18:49Carmen Lezeth: I just want to say, cynthia, thank you so much.
- 18:53Carmen Lezeth: I love this show.
- 18:56Carmen Lezeth: It stars Angela Bassett, which I had no idea that she was doing a TV show, and she's been doing it for a long time.
- 19:02Carmen Lezeth: When's the show been on?
- 19:03Carmen Lezeth: It must have been before COVID, because I just saw a COVID episode 9-1-1 has been on for a minute.
- 19:10Tony D: I haven't watched it.
- 19:12Carmen Lezeth: So it was on Wednesday, like 2019 or something.
- 19:16Tony D: Yes, it was on Friday.
- 19:17Tony D: Let me just say I did not know.
- 19:20Carmen Lezeth: Angela Bassett was doing TV I don't know why along the way, I did not know this and she plays a cop like a beat cop, like a you know.
- 19:32Carmen Lezeth: Okay, wait, Did Rick just put X-Men rule?
- 19:33Carmen Lezeth: X-men does rule, but X-Men 97 sucks the cartoon.
- 19:37Carmen Lezeth: But you're absolutely right.
- 19:39Carmen Lezeth: Is that what we're doing?
- 19:41Carmen Lezeth: I guess I'm going to start writing in the chat too, but look, let me just say this the thing that I love about this show.
- 19:48Carmen Lezeth: And look, we all love Fireman.
- 19:49Carmen Lezeth: But if you ever wanted to love Fireman more, this is the show for you.
- 19:55Carmen Lezeth: But it's about the relationships.
- 20:00Tony D: How many Fireman shows do you remember would be my question.
- 20:02Carmen Lezeth: I've never seen any Fireman shows.
- 20:04Carmen Lezeth: I knew, okay, I used to work for a big time manager here in California when I first moved here and she represented Kevin Tai, which none of you will know who Kevin Tai is, but Kevin Tai, I believe, was on a show back in the day before we were all born, called like uh, I don't even know, can we, can we google him?
- 20:26Carmen Lezeth: It's t-i-g-h-e.
- 20:28Tony D: It was like emergency or something like an oh, I know that show abc with lauren green, I remember that show.
- 20:34Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I remember all that, but but I think that's what the show it was a police show or a fireman show, whatever.
- 20:39Rick Costa: I watched that yeah, kevin tie t-i-g-e.
- 20:41Carmen Lezeth: I got it kevin ty yeah I'm on his wikipedia yeah, so joni berstein, I mean, she, she has a lot of to this day.
- 20:49Carmen Lezeth: She's a big time manager and uh, whatever.
- 20:51Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, also that too.
- 20:53Carmen Lezeth: But I I mean I think it was he was a guest on mod squad but he was a regular on some show.
- 20:57Carmen Lezeth: Did you guys google him, because I forget what?
- 20:59Tony D: yeah I know who he is.
- 21:00Andrea: It was emergency with an exclamation mark.
- 21:02Andrea: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:04Carmen Lezeth: Yeah.
- 21:04Carmen Lezeth: So when I first came to LA I brushed up on all those shows because I had to know all of the clients that Joni represented.
- 21:11Carmen Lezeth: But other than that I'd never known a show about firemen or and I don't watch policemen show, maybe a law and order once in a while, but I, you know, I don't like gory stuff.
- 21:19Carmen Lezeth: But but the thing about the show is the relationships.
- 21:23Carmen Lezeth: That's why it's so good.
- 21:24Carmen Lezeth: Like Angela Bassett and Peter Krause Peter Krause is from I remember was it Six Feet Under the show, six Feet Under.
- 21:32Carmen Lezeth: That's where I know Peter Krause from.
- 21:34Tony D: I was like Thank you for saying that.
- 21:37Carmen Lezeth: What do you mean?
- 21:38Tony D: I'm sorry y'all.
- 21:39Tony D: I've been trying to remember the name of that show.
- 21:41Tony D: It was an HBO show, wasn't it?
- 21:42Tony D: Yeah, I remember that show.
- 21:44Tony D: I can't remember the name of it.
- 21:45Tony D: It was Six Feet Under, and there was another show that used to come on HBO right around that same time.
- 21:50Carmen Lezeth: Sex and the City.
- 21:51Carmen Lezeth: That's what I remember we would watch.
- 21:53Tony D: We'd watch Sex and the City.
- 21:54Tony D: I don't watch that show.
- 21:55Carmen Lezeth: That's how I knew Andrea.
- 21:56Carmen Lezeth: We always went and watched.
- 21:59Tony D: Sex and so many movies and so many TV shows.
- 22:02Carmen Lezeth: Okay, melanie, you're absolutely right, but I just didn't know him.
- 22:07Carmen Lezeth: I met him and I met all of the clients, so I always wanted to know everything they were on, because I was working for the manager and and, and and.
- 22:16Carmen Lezeth: That's kind of what happened.
- 22:17Carmen Lezeth: That's the only show I ever remember watching, and the and his partner on there was good looking.
- 22:20Carmen Lezeth: That's all I remember.
- 22:21Rick Costa: Oh, the native American guy yeah.
- 22:23Carmen Lezeth: I don't know, but Kevin Tye was also a good man.
- 22:25Carmen Lezeth: I don't know.
- 22:25Carmen Lezeth: Is he still alive?
- 22:26Carmen Lezeth: I feel so bad.
- 22:27Carmen Lezeth: I think he is.
- 22:27Tony D: Do you know him personally?
- 22:28Tony D: Yeah, I met him.
- 22:31Tony D: If you could ever bring him on the show, I would love to have a conversation with him, hey, Kevin do you remember me from?
- 22:40Rick Costa: I just liked.
- 22:40Carmen Lezeth: Well, I mean I'm sure he's cool.
- 22:41Carmen Lezeth: I mean I could ask him.
- 22:42Carmen Lezeth: I don't think that'd be a big deal, I could get it, but I don't know if I'd get him on the show.
- 22:45Carmen Lezeth: You guys are so fucking cool.
- 22:46Tony D: He's done a lot of stuff and when I see his face I do recognize him from some of this.
- 22:50Tony D: He was in Witch Mountain.
- 22:51Tony D: I mean Escape to Witch Mountain, which I used to watch as a kid, the specials too.
- 23:00Tony D: Back in the day on abc they had this.
- 23:02Tony D: They had like um a couple of witch mountain movies back in the day.
- 23:05Tony D: I remember seeing that he did star trek voyager spoiler alert.
- 23:09Carmen Lezeth: I don't remember that I don't remember that either.
- 23:10Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, he was on?
- 23:12Tony D: er that I remember?
- 23:13Carmen Lezeth: because that was about the time I was there, yeah, he was on roadhouse.
- 23:17Tony D: People would recognize his face from roadhouse.
- 23:19Tony D: That was a very.
- 23:19Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I think people would recognize his face.
- 23:21Carmen Lezeth: I don't think people.
- 23:23Tony D: The hardy boys and the nancy drew mistress.
- 23:24Tony D: I remember that too.
- 23:25Carmen Lezeth: I mean I wasn't here for that, but I remember talking about he was a cool guy.
- 23:30Carmen Lezeth: I mean maybe I will ask him.
- 23:31Carmen Lezeth: That's funny.
- 23:31Carmen Lezeth: It's not like I couldn't get in touch with him, but it's funny because, um, when I first met the person I worked for, um, and I he like you, meet all of these people, and these people at the time were celebrities, but they weren't the big time celebrities they are today and I'm not talking about Kevin Tye, but her other celebrities, if you know who she is, and Andrea knows a couple of the people who were like not celebrities and are now huge.
- 23:55Carmen Lezeth: Right, I mean he was so cool because he was the first person I met who was like let's grab a beer, and he was just like it was so cool, let's go.
- 24:04Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, he was like let's just go grab a beer.
- 24:07Carmen Lezeth: I'm like okay, and it was kind of fun.
- 24:08Carmen Lezeth: So, um, but yeah, why did?
- 24:10Carmen Lezeth: Why are we talking about that?
- 24:11Carmen Lezeth: Why did I bring up kevin tundman?
- 24:13Rick Costa: 9-1-1 the show.
- 24:14Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, so the show I love the relationships and I just would have never put together angela bassett and peter krause and it so works, and.
- 24:22Carmen Lezeth: But my favorite character on there is Buck.
- 24:24Carmen Lezeth: But none of them have watched this, so I won't.
- 24:30Carmen Lezeth: But let me just tell you, if you want a nice fun show, where you, I think I cry every show because they save somebody, right, like it's fire.
- 24:36Carmen Lezeth: Okay, wait, wait, wait.
- 24:37Carmen Lezeth: Here's the other thing I'll say, and then we can move on to another topic, because I'm okay, I'm not watching it in order because I refuse to pay whatever it's on Hulu or whatever.
- 24:45Carmen Lezeth: So I have to watch it as it's being recorded on all the other streaming things I have, right.
- 24:50Carmen Lezeth: So I tell YouTube I want to see 9-1-1, so it starts recording it as they're being aired, so they're all over the place.
- 24:56Carmen Lezeth: So I'm watching like one episode in season three and then another episode in season seven or something, whatever is happening, right?
- 25:02Carmen Lezeth: So I'm watching this and I'm enjoying it, but I'm getting so confused because he's gay.
- 25:07Carmen Lezeth: I keep texting Cynthia and she's like you got to watch it from the beginning and I'm like I can't, I can't, but I'm so addicted to it.
- 25:16Carmen Lezeth: It's a fun show.
- 25:17Carmen Lezeth: It's a fun show and it was all these I watched, I think I don't know.
- 25:23Carmen Lezeth: I've watched like 15 episodes, probably Not back to back, just like since we talked about it last week, just randomly, but a lot of them.
- 25:28Carmen Lezeth: I think like yesterday was the first time there was actually a fire that they went to.
- 25:33Carmen Lezeth: I'm like they're firemen and they never go to an actual fire.
- 25:37Carmen Lezeth: It's always like some other tragedy.
- 25:40Cynthia: They deal with a lot more medical stuff than actual fire.
- 25:44Tony D: We get called for a lot of emergencies.
- 25:45Tony D: Yeah, any type of medical emergency.
- 25:47Tony D: You see, the fire department and the police show up.
- 25:49Rick Costa: yes, yeah, when I had my pipes frozen and they busted and I didn't, the water was gushing from the third floor down all the way to the basement like Noah's Ark and I didn't know what to do.
- 25:57Rick Costa: I thought I knew how to shut everything off and I apparently didn't.
- 26:00Rick Costa: And then I didn't and then I I didn't know what to do.
- 26:01Rick Costa: So I called them.
- 26:02Rick Costa: They came and he go, let me see your basement.
- 26:04Rick Costa: And then he found he goes oh right, here this is the shut off for the whole water, for everything.
- 26:07Rick Costa: I was like nobody ever told me this.
- 26:09Rick Costa: I didn't know.
- 26:10Rick Costa: So he shut it off and problems solved yeah, they, they come up.
- 26:12Carmen Lezeth: I didn't know, but I learned so much.
- 26:13Carmen Lezeth: So here's the thing in santa monica I live near the stairs, whatever.
- 26:17Carmen Lezeth: The firemen always go there to work out.
- 26:20Carmen Lezeth: Andrea knows they always are there.
- 26:21Carmen Lezeth: They park their fire.
- 26:22Carmen Lezeth: I have, and you know, we're always like, hmm, they're so good looking right.
- 26:25Carmen Lezeth: You always think the calendar, whatever.
- 26:27Carmen Lezeth: But after watching the show I'm like like genuflecting and shit.
- 26:31Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, oh my God, they're looking at me like I'm a weirdo.
- 26:34Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, damn, this shit that these people do is amazing.
- 26:38Carmen Lezeth: So I want to give a.
- 26:39Carmen Lezeth: But also, it's a great show 9-1-1.
- 26:41Carmen Lezeth: The relationships make no sense to me, but they all work.
- 26:45Carmen Lezeth: I love that they have gay characters, but it doesn't matter.
- 26:51Carmen Lezeth: Like it's the first show where it's not an emphasis and I think that's what I got out of it.
- 26:59Cynthia: Like I'm watching a show and people are just a couple, and then I'm like, oh yeah, they're gay.
- 27:03Carmen Lezeth: Oh, okay, right, yeah, you don't even see it like it's just okay.
- 27:07Carmen Lezeth: They got a family and they're working, whatever.
- 27:09Carmen Lezeth: I recommend the show like I'm just like I love it.
- 27:11Carmen Lezeth: I love it.
- 27:11Carmen Lezeth: And I haven't even seen the best part, which is how angela bassett and peter krause get together, because I haven't even seen the first two seasons, because that's when it happens, right.
- 27:19Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, spoiler alert, they get together and they love each other.
- 27:21Carmen Lezeth: And her ex-husband I just found out today is gay.
- 27:23Carmen Lezeth: Just want to let you all know, like I didn't know, I was so confused only to my mistake.
- 27:29Carmen Lezeth: Kevin ty is from emergency.
- 27:31Carmen Lezeth: I got his name mixed up with tig andrews.
- 27:32Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, who was on the?
- 27:33Carmen Lezeth: Watch okay it's all good.
- 27:36Carmen Lezeth: I don't know any of those old timers, all their shows, but I just knew him because I worked for him, basically, but it's all good.
- 27:43Carmen Lezeth: So let's talk about some relationships.
- 27:45Carmen Lezeth: Favorite TV couple Look it.
- 27:48Carmen Lezeth: Tony thinks it's going to be all about him.
- 27:50Carmen Lezeth: Look at him.
- 27:50Cynthia: He's all about me, look it your relationship with Cynthia is your body.
- 27:55Carmen Lezeth: We don't care okay.
- 27:57Tony D: No, you didn't.
- 27:57Tony D: She is married.
- 27:58Tony D: Do not do that to her over the internet.
- 28:00Carmen Lezeth: Look it look it, I know one.
- 28:01Carmen Lezeth: I understand Cynthia's choices, I don't mind.
- 28:04Tony D: Wow.
- 28:06Carmen Lezeth: Okay, andrea, let me give you the background.
- 28:07Carmen Lezeth: We have been bitching to Tony about getting a mic for so long, like offering it or whatever, and finally Cynthia went to his house and gave him a mic.
- 28:15Carmen Lezeth: Stop that.
- 28:19Tony D: The internet is forever.
- 28:22Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 28:23Carmen Lezeth: We're just joking.
- 28:24Carmen Lezeth: She didn't fly to your motherfucking house, but I can't help it.
- 28:28Carmen Lezeth: It's funny, cynthia had an extra mic and sent it to him, but it's been like pulling hairs just trying to get Tony to give out his address or whatever.
- 28:40Tony D: The very few he has.
- 28:41Carmen Lezeth: I almost said something that's the best friend messing with you?
- 28:44Carmen Lezeth: That's not even me, Andrea.
- 28:46Carmen Lezeth: Talk to us about any favorite movie or TV couples that you might love or enjoy.
- 28:51Andrea: You know what you got to come back to me, because I can hear someone coming in the door right now.
- 28:55Carmen Lezeth: Okay, no problem, go ahead, rick, knock it out or Cynthia, don't matter.
- 28:59Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to let Tony not talk, because he has enough footage already.
- 29:04Rick Costa: So Rogue and Gambit, oh, come on Gene and Scott Gene and Scott, come on.
- 29:09Carmen Lezeth: All right, let me be specific.
- 29:12Carmen Lezeth: Television, regular live action, no cartoons, animation, shows that we all would know.
- 29:20Carmen Lezeth: Now he's talking.
- 29:23Rick Costa: I got to think Luke and Laura from General Hospital.
- 29:27Rick Costa: Oh my God, this dude that's why you like x-men oh look see, he said two they're like the most famous couple for some reason, I don't know why okay, it's funny that two men actually talk about general high school she made.
- 29:48Rick Costa: We had, like you said, with the older person what an?
- 29:51Rick Costa: Old person wants to watch.
- 29:52Rick Costa: That's what you watch no, it wasn't that.
- 29:53Carmen Lezeth: It was an older kid in the house, it wasn't.
- 29:54Carmen Lezeth: An old person wants to watch.
- 29:54Carmen Lezeth: That's what you watch.
- 29:54Carmen Lezeth: No, it wasn't that much.
- 29:54Carmen Lezeth: It was an older kid in the house, it wasn't an older person watching.
- 29:56Carmen Lezeth: Speed.
- 29:57Carmen Lezeth: You can just embrace that.
- 29:59Carmen Lezeth: You watched Luke and Laura on what was it, what was the show General Hospital General.
- 30:03Carmen Lezeth: Hospital.
- 30:03Carmen Lezeth: Go ahead, nikki, hey D.
- 30:07Tony D: Nikki and Vector.
- 30:08Carmen Lezeth: Newman in Young and the Restless Is that why you're not Angie and Jessie?
- 30:12Tony D: I can't stand Angie.
- 30:13Carmen Lezeth: Who's Angie and Jessie?
- 30:15Tony D: I think all my children have one life to live.
- 30:17Tony D: He ain't right.
- 30:18Carmen Lezeth: Okay.
- 30:18Carmen Lezeth: It's all the men who watch soap operas.
- 30:22Tony D: I'm going to answer that because we had no choice when we were kids, when our parents had a TV and there was only one TV in the house.
- 30:28Carmen Lezeth: I mean, if that's the story, you need to go with this.
- 30:29Tony D: okay, I get you excuse me, you did not see x-men.
- 30:32Tony D: You understand, you can relate I.
- 30:33Carmen Lezeth: I didn't watch x-men because I was busy rehearsing oh my goodness it wasn't my thing.
- 30:39Carmen Lezeth: I didn't watch those kind of cartoons.
- 30:40Carmen Lezeth: I didn't like that kind of animation.
- 30:42Carmen Lezeth: I wasn't a big cartoon person and jesse.
- 30:45Carmen Lezeth: I forgot about this I don't even know who and you just I really don't know.
- 30:48Carmen Lezeth: And I don't know who nicked him nicky?
- 30:49Carmen Lezeth: I didn't watch soap operas I heard of of Luke and Laura because you could not not hear about it.
- 30:55Carmen Lezeth: But there was also.
- 30:55Carmen Lezeth: Who were the Dynasty people?
- 30:57Carmen Lezeth: Or Falcon Crash?
- 30:58Carmen Lezeth: Remember the soap operas at night?
- 30:59Carmen Lezeth: Who was the member?
- 31:01Carmen Lezeth: What was the line?
- 31:02Carmen Lezeth: Who shot JR?
- 31:05Tony D: That was Dallas.
- 31:06Carmen Lezeth: That was what.
- 31:08Tony D: Dallas.
- 31:08Carmen Lezeth: Oh, again the men correcting Dallas.
- 31:11Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying those are the soap operas at night, you know what I mean.
- 31:17Carmen Lezeth: Well, I was going to say what did you like about those relationships?
- 31:22Carmen Lezeth: But I guess not, because you guys don't really have anything.
- 31:24Carmen Lezeth: Do you guys get uncomfortable watching two men or two women kiss on television?
- 31:28Carmen Lezeth: Just curious.
- 31:29Tony D: Two men yes.
- 31:32Rick Costa: But not two women.
- 31:33Rick Costa: Oh, that's interesting.
- 31:34Carmen Lezeth: Go ahead, andrea, I don't need to be here.
- 31:38Tony D: Yes.
- 31:38Carmen Lezeth: Tony DiNozza and Ziva on NCIS.
- 31:40Carmen Lezeth: They have their own show coming out.
- 31:42Carmen Lezeth: I love it.
- 31:43Carmen Lezeth: Ted Hicks, we're on the same page.
- 31:44Carmen Lezeth: Okay, go ahead, Andrea.
- 31:45Carmen Lezeth: Talk about why there might be an issue here for Tony D I can't hear you.
- 31:50Tony D: You're muted, you're muted.
- 31:51Tony D: I can't hear you, you're muted.
- 31:53Andrea: You're muted.
- 31:53Andrea: Sorry, I was coughing so I muted myself.
- 31:55Andrea: I said I was just asking questions, but you know, because he said two men, yes, but didn't say two women, so go ahead ask him.
- 32:02Tony D: Yeah, it's uncomfortable.
- 32:03Tony D: I've always been uncomfortable seeing two men kiss.
- 32:05Tony D: It's just something in me.
- 32:06Tony D: I just don't like it.
- 32:07Tony D: Not two women, probably not.
- 32:10Tony D: No, I'm a man.
- 32:11Tony D: What do you want me to say?
- 32:12Tony D: It's fine.
- 32:14Tony D: As far as couples, I'm going to go with T'Challa and Nikoye because I'm waiting on their third Black Panther movie.
- 32:20Carmen Lezeth: We're not changing subjects for the whole game, oh.
- 32:22Cynthia: I'm telling the truth, T'Challa.
- 32:23Cynthia: We do love Black Panther.
- 32:24Cynthia: It's their relationship Wakanda.
- 32:26Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, okay, wait, why do you have with two men kissing but not two women?
- 32:31Carmen Lezeth: Just curious, not issue, but it makes you uncomfortable.
- 32:33Carmen Lezeth: It's fair, it's a fair point.
- 32:35Tony D: It makes me uncomfortable, it makes me uncomfortable.
- 32:39Carmen Lezeth: Let's change it.
- 32:39Carmen Lezeth: Why is it okay for two women to kiss and that doesn't bother you?
- 32:44Tony D: I never said it was okay.
- 32:45Tony D: It just doesn't make me as uncomfortable as seeing two dudes kiss.
- 32:47Carmen Lezeth: Okay, that's fair.
- 32:49Tony D: That's the truth.
- 32:50Tony D: But, why, I don't know why it just does.
- 32:53Tony D: Maybe it's because I'm heterosexual, I don't know.
- 32:55Tony D: Okay, I will say as a heterosexual we don't like seeing dudes kiss, we just don't.
- 32:59Tony D: I mean, I understand the society now and everybody's going to be whoever they choose to be, because they have the right to be, and that's the absolute truth.
- 33:04Tony D: It just makes me uncomfortable.
- 33:30Carmen Lezeth: I'm don't need to see nobody making out, period.
- 33:31Carmen Lezeth: You know what I like that because I think some people need like I've said it so many times strangers get a hotel.
- 33:35Carmen Lezeth: You don't need to be out here middle of the street half naked you know what I mean Like I can see a kiss or a hug or whatever, and even like a little romantic.
- 33:39Carmen Lezeth: But people who are feeling each other up, we at the grocery store bitch what you doing.
- 33:43Carmen Lezeth: It ain't all that.
- 33:43Carmen Lezeth: The eggs are on sale, that's a couple of them.
- 33:50Tony D: Yeah, Ted, no diddy.
- 33:52Carmen Lezeth: What?
- 33:52Carmen Lezeth: What's no diddy?
- 33:57Carmen Lezeth: Oh, Carmen, Carmen, Carmen.
- 33:59Tony D: Oh Carmen.
- 34:01Carmen Lezeth: But I don't, we'll expand on it.
- 34:02Tony D: So our Okay, there's a very big stereotype that's been going around the news, specifically around the past couple of weeks, but definitely for a few years, that Diddy has some Rather aggressive relationships with people.
- 34:15Carmen Lezeth: With men or women.
- 34:18Tony D: A lot of men recently A lot of men, and it's not been necessarily consensual, for lack of a better term.
- 34:24Carmen Lezeth: So he's raping men or something Abusing men.
- 34:28Tony D: Abusing.
- 34:28Tony D: I'm going to say abusing more than raping.
- 34:30Tony D: I've been hearing this all over.
- 34:31Carmen Lezeth: TikTok, I had to Google it.
- 34:32Carmen Lezeth: Sprinkle, sprinkle, drizzle drizzle.
- 34:35Tony D: I'll never say this again, but don't worry about what Brian said right now.
- 34:38Carmen Lezeth: No, no, no.
- 34:38Carmen Lezeth: I know here's the thing because I'm always trying to make sure I'm up on what's going on.
- 34:43Carmen Lezeth: I was like what's with all this drizzle, drizzle and I made the mistake of Googling it and then going down that rabbit hole of like knowing all these motherfucking saints.
- 34:50Carmen Lezeth: I'm cool, I'm cool with it.
- 34:52Carmen Lezeth: The kicker is they Because the women are all saying now sprinkle, sprinkle or something right, or they're saying drizzle, drizzle, wow.
- 34:57Tony D: Yeah, they raided Diddy's house a couple of weeks ago and it's been like an onslaught against him, major onslaught against him, stereotyping him, chastising him.
- 35:06Carmen Lezeth: Do you think it's deserved or not?
- 35:07Carmen Lezeth: A lot of the truth then.
- 35:15Carmen Lezeth: Yes, it is deserved.
- 35:16Carmen Lezeth: Are you uncomfortable knowing that P Diddy whatever his name is because he's had several right, is that?
- 35:18Carmen Lezeth: Sean.
- 35:19Tony D: Combs, is that Sean?
- 35:19Carmen Lezeth: Combs, are you uncomfortable with the idea that he would sleep with men?
- 35:23Tony D: Yes, take advantage of him and get him.
- 35:25Carmen Lezeth: Yes, okay you know what.
- 35:26Carmen Lezeth: Okay, let's not talk about P Diddy and his troubles.
- 35:29Carmen Lezeth: Do you have an issue with any man sleeping with another man?
- 35:32Carmen Lezeth: You said you had an issue with somebody kissing another man.
- 35:34Tony D: Yeah, I do, Bobby.
- 35:37Carmen Lezeth: What happens in the cellar room stays in the cellar room.
- 35:40Tony D: Easy there, bro, easy there.
- 35:41Tony D: Those relationships do make me uncomfortable.
- 35:45Tony D: Yes, anybody taking advantage of anybody sexually makes me totally uncomfortable.
- 35:48Carmen Lezeth: No, okay, we're on the same page there.
- 35:49Carmen Lezeth: That's not even a question of course.
- 35:50Carmen Lezeth: We do not at all want anyone to be taking advantage of anybody at any time.
- 35:55Carmen Lezeth: It is not appropriate.
- 35:56Carmen Lezeth: Man, woman doesn't matter, age, child okay, that's not even that's all.
- 36:02Tony D: I will kill somebody who hurts a child, so I have no problem, yeah, all about the murder how to get away with murder, that's do you have a problem with?
- 36:14Carmen Lezeth: men who make love or kiss each other, or women.
- 36:18Carmen Lezeth: Do you feel uncomfortable seeing that on television or anything?
- 36:21Carmen Lezeth: No.
- 36:22Tony D: Seeing men do it yes.
- 36:23Tony D: No Seeing men do it.
- 36:25Tony D: It makes me uncomfortable.
- 36:26Andrea: Oh, she asked me.
- 36:27Andrea: You know, we know, I asked Andrea, it's all about Tony, though.
- 36:31Tony D: Hold on, dude.
- 36:31Tony D: You were asking me first.
- 36:32Tony D: I didn't hear you mention her name.
- 36:33Tony D: Go ahead, I'm sorry.
- 36:34Andrea: No, I don't have a problem with it, but I would agree with Rick.
- 36:37Andrea: I don't need to see all the business all right.
- 36:40Andrea: Look, I'm happy.
- 36:44Andrea: People are happy If you're kissing someone, you have someone you love or even are into more power to you.
- 36:49Andrea: There's more of that that's needed.
- 36:55Carmen Lezeth: I don't care.
- 36:55Carmen Lezeth: As long as no one's getting hurt and everyone's legal, it's all good.
- 36:57Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, do you have an issue with seeing men kiss?
- 36:59Carmen Lezeth: No.
- 36:59Cynthia: I mean, I have no problem seeing anybody kiss.
- 37:01Cynthia: But I agree with all of you guys, I don't need to see the big PDA like big display of affection and slobbering and groping each other out on the street.
- 37:12Carmen Lezeth: We are okay with the LGBTQ community.
- 37:16Tony D: Yeah, they're fine.
- 37:16Tony D: If you find somebody to be in love with, we'll give you that.
- 37:19Tony D: That's great, I'll say this.
- 37:21Carmen Lezeth: I think it matters who you grew up around, I think it matters your comfort level.
- 37:26Carmen Lezeth: And I'm just wondering, Tony, this is actually a question for you but, like, I grew up with dancers and performers, men and women.
- 37:32Carmen Lezeth: Men specific, there were a lot of men I knew, especially during the eighties, during the whole AIDS thing that unfortunately passed away.
- 37:38Carmen Lezeth: And there were a lot of men that I knew who, like I, was confused by why there was so much hatred, that's how infused in the world of people who love each other I can't even say like the gay world, because it wasn't that.
- 37:50Carmen Lezeth: It was a mix of performers and you know what I mean.
- 37:53Carmen Lezeth: Like it was just dancers and drill team and color guard and drum corps and it was just a mix of wonderful people and people who would go clubbing at night and go dancing and it never even dawned on me.
- 38:02Carmen Lezeth: So I was confused by the drama when the whole AIDS thing, the whole AIDS epidemic, happened, why people were so hating it.
- 38:10Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 38:10Carmen Lezeth: Like we were all pretty young in the eighties when that happened.
- 38:13Carmen Lezeth: So I didn't understand.
- 38:20Carmen Lezeth: And I love that because I think it made it easier for me to not feel uncomfortable, Like it's weird for me to say, Tony, are you uncomfortable about two men kissing?
- 38:26Carmen Lezeth: Cause it's.
- 38:27Carmen Lezeth: It wouldn't even dawn on me as a like.
- 38:30Carmen Lezeth: It would be like are you uncomfortable seeing a man and a woman kiss in public?
- 38:33Carmen Lezeth: Like's a weird.
- 38:33Carmen Lezeth: Why would anyone ask that question.
- 38:35Tony D: I'll answer it like this no, you're fine.
- 38:36Tony D: You're fine and I'm going to give a very fair answer.
- 38:39Tony D: We had this conversation on the other platform about almost three years ago now.
- 38:44Tony D: When we talked about it, I said this to a lot of people.
- 38:46Tony D: I said I'm going to say this specifically to a lot of members of the homosexual community why there was a chastisement against you.
- 38:51Tony D: There was actually teachings of that being used as a way to dominate people and how many people they did it to, to where it was.
- 38:58Tony D: Them was a few.
- 38:58Carmen Lezeth: Yes, If you look at slavery, I'll tell you, I'll tell you, I'll tell you.
- 39:04Tony D: There were stories in slavery where the guys would sodomize the men, and rape and sodomy are definitely two different charges.
- 39:11Tony D: Rape is, I guess, one sex against the other and sodomy are definitely two different charges.
- 39:14Tony D: Rape is, I guess, one sex against the other and sodomy is unnatural sex acts.
- 39:16Tony D: So there were unnatural sex acts done against the slaves so much that they feel it is like almost infused and some of the people going along those lines are pretty much living what was done to them and they had to get used to it because there was almost no choice.
- 39:28Tony D: So a lot of the dissent against homosexuality was because it was used as domination.
- 39:33Tony D: It was used as torture against people to get them to do what they wanted to do.
- 39:36Tony D: So when a lot of people would adapt to it, they were like no, you're adapting to what was used against you.
- 39:40Tony D: It's not the natural way.
- 39:41Tony D: That was how I was raised on a lot of things and we saw homosexuality as a sin.
- 39:47Tony D: As a Christian Now I know a lot of people don't deal with the Christianity or the religious aspects.
- 39:51Tony D: I get that.
- 39:51Tony D: I understand people who look at spirituality over gender when they love somebody.
- 39:57Tony D: I get that too.
- 39:58Tony D: So love who you love.
- 40:00Tony D: Find somebody who loves you as much as you love them and go be happy, regardless of anybody's judgment even mine, because I do know gay couples.
- 40:07Tony D: They do know that I get uncomfortable, but I respect their happiness.
- 40:10Tony D: It's just my preference.
- 40:12Carmen Lezeth: You just went a whole other level in my book.
- 40:15Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I appreciate it Because you just explained, look it.
- 40:20Carmen Lezeth: I think it takes a really strong and amazing, well-informed, beautiful spirit to admit everything you just admitted and have such logic Like I totally understand you in a whole different way, tony, and let me just say I appreciate you sharing that Well, thank you, and it's the truth, because I don't-.
- 40:37Tony D: Being honest, that was awesome.
- 40:38Tony D: We were young 70s, 80s we all know the homosexuals caught a lot of abuse, torture and torment.
- 40:43Tony D: We know this as we grow up and realize that some people just found somebody of the same sex to be happy with, because some people could not find somebody of the opposite sex to be happy with.
- 40:53Carmen Lezeth: But, but let me just stop you there for a moment, because you do understand that, like I have a brother who I love with all my heart and he is gay.
- 40:59Carmen Lezeth: There is no chance that he's like, oh, if I could just find a woman.
- 41:03Carmen Lezeth: It is not, it's like me thinking I could be with a woman, it's just never going to happen.
- 41:06Carmen Lezeth: Do you understand, or do you believe, or do you get the?
- 41:16Tony D: possibility that that is natural for him, just as it's natural for me to never want to be with a woman the way to push them right now, yes, now for you.
- 41:21Carmen Lezeth: So I'm asking for you, I'm asking for you, like do you understand that for him, for my brother, there's no way on the planet that the reason why he's with a man is because he can't find the right woman?
- 41:31Tony D: I've actually I've actually talked to a lot of people who are homosexual.
- 41:34Tony D: No disrespect when the term just being honest terminology they liked to somebody of the same sex.
- 41:38Tony D: I've talked to them.
- 41:39Tony D: They just found happiness with somebody of the same gender and they were done.
- 41:42Tony D: I get that.
- 41:43Tony D: I'm just glad it's not forced on people the way it was historically, the people who are finding it naturally now.
- 41:49Tony D: They do make sense to me, but they they do make sense to me.
- 41:51Tony D: But I want them to understand those of us who are older who were against it.
- 41:54Tony D: What we were taught was homosexuality was used as torture.
- 42:03Carmen Lezeth: It was used as a way, all of those stories, okay, but here's the thing.
- 42:05Carmen Lezeth: So and I say this because I hope we can shed some light to other people Like, even though it was maybe used in torture, in slavery times and whatever, I haven't done enough research to be like yes, you're right, I don't know, I'm trusting your judgment on that, so let's just say that's even true.
- 42:18Carmen Lezeth: I want to express to you that there are people who are gay.
- 42:21Carmen Lezeth: Because they are gay, it has nothing to do with Christianity or torture or some historical thing that was processed on them.
- 42:31Carmen Lezeth: It is natural for them to be attracted to the same sex.
- 42:36Tony D: I do understand that, because there's also proof of it being a recessive trait in their DNA that they may just switch.
- 42:44Carmen Lezeth: Okay, we're going way in the weeds that I cannot.
- 42:46Tony D: I don't know.
- 42:48Carmen Lezeth: I don't know where you get that info.
- 42:49Carmen Lezeth: I don't want to get into DNA stuff because I can't.
- 42:52Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying I don't know if you or I are qualified enough to be start talking about.
- 42:57Tony D: No, no problem.
- 42:58Carmen Lezeth: You know what.
- 42:58Carmen Lezeth: I'm just being honest.
- 42:59Carmen Lezeth: Like I'm not a chemist, I don't know a chemist.
- 43:01Carmen Lezeth: I haven't talked to a chemist lately.
- 43:02Carmen Lezeth: I don't want to get into the DNA of it because I don't think DNA has anything to do with me being attracted to men.
- 43:08Tony D: No, there'll be a connection with somebody that you can't explain it.
- 43:10Tony D: That makes sense to me.
- 43:11Tony D: That does make sense to me.
- 43:14Carmen Lezeth: Do you think you could be attracted to a man?
- 43:15Carmen Lezeth: Okay, sorry, sorry, guys.
- 43:20Carmen Lezeth: This is such a fascinating conversation.
- 43:23Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if that's a DNA thing.
- 43:26Carmen Lezeth: I think there's something more nuanced in there, right.
- 43:30Tony D: Let me put it.
- 43:30Tony D: I'll say I was more raised not to be my society that I grew up in, the people that I grew up around.
- 43:38Tony D: It wasn't happening for me.
- 43:40Carmen Lezeth: Wait, I'm not laughing at you.
- 43:41Carmen Lezeth: I'm laughing at Andrea, because we both had to save the hotline Environment.
- 43:48Tony D: Absolutely 100%.
- 43:50Andrea: I mean, I just said I also appreciate you sharing that.
- 43:54Andrea: I have read things about that.
- 43:55Andrea: I don't have a whole, you know wealth of knowledge on it, but it, the way you explained it, makes a lot of sense in terms of why it's so troublesome or problematic for some people.
- 44:08Andrea: Right Like I get that.
- 44:10Andrea: Yeah, exactly yeah.
- 44:14Carmen Lezeth: Especially in the black community.
- 44:15Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to say that especially in the black community there is.
- 44:17Carmen Lezeth: There is a hard I mean I think we're getting better at it but there is a hard, difficult process in accepting people who are gay.
- 44:24Carmen Lezeth: And my friend, richard Johnson, who everyone knows was one of my best friends, who passed away at the young age of 49.
- 44:30Carmen Lezeth: He was gay from a very religious family, pastor.
- 44:34Carmen Lezeth: His father, his father, was a pastor.
- 44:35Carmen Lezeth: He was in the choir and nobody knew he was gay.
- 44:39Carmen Lezeth: We all knew he was gay.
- 44:40Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what I mean?
- 44:41Carmen Lezeth: Like?
- 44:41Carmen Lezeth: And and it was a?
- 44:42Carmen Lezeth: It was a torture for him because it was a sin.
- 44:44Carmen Lezeth: It was all the things you're talking about and for me I believe that's why he died because the the, the torture of this societal pressure, and then who he actually was as a person did not match.
- 44:58Tony D: And it's it's the chastisement really comes from.
- 45:01Tony D: A lot of the historical ways of it being used against people.
- 45:03Tony D: Period.
- 45:03Tony D: And I send this out to the whole homosexual community, the bisexual, all of you notice.
- 45:08Tony D: Historically they were taught that it was used against people as domination, which is disrespectful.
- 45:13Tony D: If you picked it up within yourself, we can't hold that against you entirely.
- 45:18Tony D: If you make your own choice and you found somebody to be happy with, by all means, the faster you find somebody happy to be with, the faster society is at peace.
- 45:27Andrea: So I think, totally hear you, tony, but I think that the point that Carmen was trying to make is it's not a choice, it's not a choice, it's not a choice.
- 45:36Tony D: What is it?
- 45:36Tony D: A choice, is it?
- 45:36Andrea: a choice for you to be attracted to women versus men.
- 45:40Andrea: You feel like you have a choice.
- 45:42Tony D: That's a question I've heard from a couple of people If you actually sat down.
- 45:46Andrea: I'm not talking about a particular woman, I'm just saying is it a choice for you to be heterosexual versus homosexual or bisexual?
- 45:52Tony D: Yeah, that question.
- 45:52Tony D: That's one of the more interesting questions I've actually been asked by a homosexual woman.
- 45:56Tony D: Why are you heterosexual?
- 45:59Tony D: Is it because that's what you were taught or is that because that's what you were feeling?
- 46:02Tony D: And I found that to be interesting.
- 46:04Tony D: I have no feeling to be intimate, to fantasize, to be sexual with no man.
- 46:08Tony D: None, that is a fight from how I was raised.
- 46:12Tony D: But if you could find somebody to be happy with who will not take advantage of you regardless of the gender, age, race, whatever, Godspeed.
- 46:19Andrea: I think we're talking about two different things.
- 46:20Andrea: I agree with you for sure If you can find someone to be happy with.
- 46:23Andrea: But like I am not attracted to women right, like I'm a heterosexual woman, I could be happy with Carmen, like hanging out, being a friend.
- 46:36Carmen Lezeth: You know what's so funny?
- 46:37Carmen Lezeth: I was just going to say the same thing.
- 46:38Carmen Lezeth: Like I love and enjoy with all my heart.
- 46:39Andrea: I am not going to want to like make out with her and have sex with her and be like physically, romantically attracted to her in that way.
- 46:45Cynthia: I could be happy with her you know.
- 46:48Andrea: You know what I mean, because it's not even a choice for me.
- 46:53Andrea: So my goal is to men versus women, Because I do get it and honestly, it's not even a choice for me.
- 46:55Andrea: Like is two men versus women.
- 46:58Tony D: So may I ask you, why do you feel that you couldn't be intimate with a woman?
- 47:02Andrea: Why do I feel it?
- 47:03Andrea: Because I just don't have that attraction.
- 47:07Tony D: So you feel the same way I do Women.
- 47:09Tony D: It's not going to happen, cause I remember she asked me earlier, kind of like why Other?
- 47:13Andrea: women can do it.
- 47:13Andrea: I'm, you know, and I'm not you know.
- 47:15Andrea: If a woman is attracted to me, I'm not, you know, going to be like get the fuck out of my face or something like that.
- 47:19Andrea: You know what I mean.
- 47:20Andrea: Like it doesn't make me uncomfortable, it's just like would, honestly when I'm sure you probably heard most of us have heard women say this all the time jesus christ, I wish I was a lesbian.
- 47:31Andrea: It would make my life so much fucking easier.
- 47:32Tony D: I've never heard women say that, oh my.
- 47:34Andrea: God, women say that all the time, all the time.
- 47:39Carmen Lezeth: Do you know how much easier my life would be if I could be with Andrea?
- 47:42Carmen Lezeth: We're best friends, I get her, she gets me.
- 47:47Carmen Lezeth: It's simple.
- 47:47Carmen Lezeth: I just sorry.
- 47:49Carmen Lezeth: I love men.
- 47:51Carmen Lezeth: Just to piggyback off of what Andrea was saying it's not a choice, tony.
- 47:56Carmen Lezeth: There might be people out there who are choosing, and great, there are people who are.
- 48:03Carmen Lezeth: Is it binary or is it bisexual?
- 48:05Carmen Lezeth: I think there might be people who are bisexual, who are attracted to both, but that's a different subject.
- 48:10Carmen Lezeth: But what I'm saying to you, it is not a choice for me to choose to love men like I.
- 48:17Carmen Lezeth: It's not okay.
- 48:17Carmen Lezeth: Let me say that I love women and I love men, and I said it kind of funny earlier and I know it was kind of vulgar, but I do enjoy the penis like I enjoy the male we're getting into the x-rated version of the show.
- 48:29Carmen Lezeth: Actual thing.
- 48:30Rick Costa: Put your kids away.
- 48:31Rick Costa: Hide your kids, hide your wife.
- 48:36Carmen Lezeth: We're getting into the X-rated version of the show.
- 48:39Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying like that's not a choice, and I'm going to tell you right now.
- 48:47Carmen Lezeth: My brother, billy, would tell you the same exact thing.
- 48:49Carmen Lezeth: There is no way on the planet that man would ever, in any way, shape or form, be attracted to Andrea and be like, oh my God, I want to be with her.
- 48:54Tony D: Ever, ever, ever, in any way, shape or form, be attracted to andrea and be like oh my god, I want to be with her, ever, ever, or cynthia, he wouldn't be like.
- 49:02Tony D: Oh my god cynthia.
- 49:03Carmen Lezeth: I want her so bad.
- 49:03Carmen Lezeth: Never because it's he's not attracted to them at all.
- 49:05Carmen Lezeth: She loves the people.
- 49:06Carmen Lezeth: I do love the penis.
- 49:06Carmen Lezeth: I could do without the rest of the man, though now that I've heard from women a.
- 49:11Andrea: That's why we all wish we could be lesbians.
- 49:17Carmen Lezeth: Because there are great toys out there now.
- 49:19Carmen Lezeth: You don't need them anymore.
- 49:20Carmen Lezeth: Anyway, sorry, tony, what were you saying?
- 49:24Tony D: You said two.
- 49:29Carmen Lezeth: Oh, okay, that's my fault.
- 49:31Carmen Lezeth: I invited that again.
- 49:32Carmen Lezeth: I know that's my fault.
- 49:33Carmen Lezeth: It's okay, bobby.
- 49:34Carmen Lezeth: Let's bring it back.
- 49:34Carmen Lezeth: My apologies, that's my fault.
- 49:35Carmen Lezeth: I invited that.
- 49:35Carmen Lezeth: I know that's my fault, it's okay, bobby.
- 49:35Carmen Lezeth: Let's bring it back.
- 49:36Carmen Lezeth: My apologies, that's my fault, it's okay, you didn't ask me why.
- 49:40Tony D: As far as being heterosexual and that's why I was asking why as far as being lesbian, homosexual, if you will, between you two, and that was the only reason I was asking.
- 49:46Tony D: You didn't ask me why.
- 49:47Tony D: Could you ask yourself why you would be your preference?
- 49:51Andrea: Well, I mean, that is the point, right, you're born this way.
- 49:54Andrea: There is no why.
- 49:55Andrea: That's just the way I was born.
- 49:57Andrea: I was born right-handed, I was born with blue eyes, I was born heterosexual.
- 50:00Tony D: Pretty much, pretty damn much.
- 50:03Carmen Lezeth: You're just born this way.
- 50:06Tony D: Kimmy.
- 50:06Carmen Lezeth: Callie said something good.
- 50:07Carmen Lezeth: You got to take the good with the bad.
- 50:08Carmen Lezeth: Yo listen.
- 50:10Tony D: I'm living in my bed from now on because some of y'all, that's a whole other rabbit hole.
- 50:14Carmen Lezeth: Oh no, please do indulge.
- 50:16Carmen Lezeth: We have a few minutes.
- 50:17Carmen Lezeth: What were you?
- 50:17Tony D: saying Don't get me started.
- 50:19Tony D: I try to keep the show pumped.
- 50:20Tony D: Don't get me started.
- 50:21Carmen Lezeth: No, no, you were doing so good.
- 50:22Carmen Lezeth: What's wrong?
- 50:23Carmen Lezeth: What's wrong?
- 50:23Carmen Lezeth: Oh, quite a few things every now and then, but I'm all right, I'm going to let you think as the Bible aficionado here in the room, as the Christian person speaking for all Christians in the country and in the world.
- 50:42Carmen Lezeth: No, I'm just kidding.
- 50:43Carmen Lezeth: Tell us, is it a sin as far as you're concerned?
- 50:47Rick Costa: It's not biblical.
- 50:48Rick Costa: So if yeah, I'm sorry.
- 50:51Carmen Lezeth: You need to expand on that.
- 50:51Carmen Lezeth: For us who don't, men shouldn't sleep with men.
- 50:52Rick Costa: Women shouldn't sleep with women.
- 50:53Rick Costa: It does say that.
- 50:54Rick Costa: So what am I going to do?
- 50:55Tony D: That's what it says.
- 50:57Carmen Lezeth: And what verse what?
- 51:01Rick Costa: I would definitely have to let anybody connect to the Bible.
- 51:03Tony D: That's in the Old Testament.
- 51:04Tony D: I believe it's Exodus or Deuteronomy.
- 51:06Tony D: It's also in the New Testament.
- 51:09Carmen Lezeth: I believe it's St Corinthians, you know.
- 51:12Carmen Lezeth: You know what we're gonna have to have an all-girls show.
- 51:16Carmen Lezeth: You can't get good penis without some ripples in the water, oh my lord.
- 51:22Carmen Lezeth: Hey, dean, I think sex and love are separate things.
- 51:25Carmen Lezeth: We sometimes cross with someone, even to each individual and emotion.
- 51:29Carmen Lezeth: You know what, dean, I'm gonna agree with you.
- 51:31Carmen Lezeth: I do think sex and love are two different things.
- 51:33Carmen Lezeth: However, however, your attraction does not sway, like it doesn't matter how much I love.
- 51:38Carmen Lezeth: Well, cynthia is my cousin, so we can't.
- 51:40Carmen Lezeth: But just to use Andrea as an example, it doesn't matter how much I love Andrea, we never going to have sex.
- 51:44Carmen Lezeth: It's never going to happen because that's not our relationship and neither one of us are attracted to each other in that way.
- 51:50Carmen Lezeth: That way, however, I can have sex with my boyfriend or a guy that I know and not be in love with him.
- 51:56Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what I mean?
- 52:02Carmen Lezeth: Like we could just have sex and I can be in love with somebody else you know what I mean, so I agreed there, if that makes sense.
- 52:06Carmen Lezeth: We got to just have a girl's night on the penis.
- 52:08Carmen Lezeth: We don't call it that Girl's night on the penis.
- 52:11Rick Costa: Could I just say something though too?
- 52:12Rick Costa: So a lot of times we were talking about well, if you find somebody to be happy with, that's separate from who you're attracted to, like.
- 52:20Rick Costa: I've talked to gay people and they're like female body parts, ew, gross, like totally disgusted.
- 52:27Rick Costa: Just like Tony seeing two guys would be disgusted looking at two guys kissing.
- 52:39Rick Costa: Just as much as a gay person would be disgusted by thinking about being with a woman.
- 52:41Rick Costa: And some of them were like I tried it because it's a society, but it didn't work for me.
- 52:42Rick Costa: You know so.
- 52:42Rick Costa: But then, but if it's okay for them to say ill body, female body parts, I'm trying to keep it pg.
- 52:45Rick Costa: You know, ill, ill, ill.
- 52:46Rick Costa: Don't get mad at me if I see two guys making out and I go that kind of ill to me, me too.
- 52:53Carmen Lezeth: Well wait, that's different.
- 52:54Rick Costa: How is it different?
- 52:55Carmen Lezeth: That's different, first of all.
- 52:56Carmen Lezeth: Well, I'll say it this way, because I'm not asking if it's like public display of affection and people like because you said that earlier, right Like whether it's heterosexual, homosexual, if people are making out at the grocery store, I totally hear you.
- 53:11Carmen Lezeth: It's like that's inappropriate, don't do that.
- 53:12Carmen Lezeth: But somebody saying you about people who love each other, I think is different than somebody saying, yeah, I would never want to touch somebody's breast because I'm a gay man.
- 53:23Carmen Lezeth: I think that's different.
- 53:24Carmen Lezeth: But, tony, say that out loud, Right.
- 53:27Tony D: I love his breasts Okay.
- 53:33Carmen Lezeth: I love them.
- 53:33Carmen Lezeth: Oh God, I'll take them off.
- 53:36Tony D: I'm sorry.
- 53:36Carmen Lezeth: I know, but you understand, but you see what I'm saying.
- 53:39Carmen Lezeth: Like that, that's a different kind of you, like it's not.
- 53:42Carmen Lezeth: Like gay people are not walking around, or men who are not attracted to women are not walking around being like, yeah, women, like they're not.
- 53:49Carmen Lezeth: That's just, first of all, it's childish and secondly, it's not the same thing.
- 53:53Carmen Lezeth: Look at the reason why I bring this up.
- 53:55Carmen Lezeth: Oh, let me just read what Kimmy Callie just said.
- 53:57Carmen Lezeth: I have family members that have same-sex partners.
- 53:59Carmen Lezeth: I am Christian.
- 54:00Carmen Lezeth: I don't treat them any different.
- 54:01Carmen Lezeth: I still love them.
- 54:02Carmen Lezeth: Whoever wants to sleep with whomever, that's between them and God.
- 54:05Carmen Lezeth: Fair enough, okay, I'm going to skip over what some people are saying.
- 54:10Carmen Lezeth: So here's what I'll say about.
- 54:11Carmen Lezeth: The reason why I brought this up is because I have never seen a show.
- 54:14Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to bring it back to the TV show.
- 54:15Carmen Lezeth: The reason why I like 9-11 so much and it was Cynthia who introduced me to the show is because it's the first time I've watched the show where being gay was not an issue, but it's in the show.
- 54:28Carmen Lezeth: So they don't make it such a large hoopla.
- 54:31Carmen Lezeth: It's just part of the storyline.
- 54:37Carmen Lezeth: Make it such a large hoopla, it's just part of the storyline.
- 54:38Carmen Lezeth: So you see a family that has kids and they are having dinner and they love each other, and then they you know, one of the adults in the household has to go to the firehouse because they're a fire person.
- 54:47Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what I mean?
- 54:48Carmen Lezeth: Like it's just like, oh, it wasn't made.
- 54:51Carmen Lezeth: Like let's talk about the gay issue in this scene.
- 54:53Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 54:54Carmen Lezeth: Like let's talk about it and let's make it an issue.
- 54:56Carmen Lezeth: It's just like la-di-da-di-da, life goes on and I thought that's where we need to get to, where people can just live their lives and it's not a big deal.
- 55:04Carmen Lezeth: And I just thought that was cool.
- 55:07Carmen Lezeth: And it's not just one gay family.
- 55:09Carmen Lezeth: And like I texted Cynthia, like I texted cynthia today, I'm like is someone so gay?
- 55:18Carmen Lezeth: I was so confused because one of the characters met a boyfriend and I was confused by it.
- 55:20Carmen Lezeth: So that's what I love about the show.
- 55:21Cynthia: It's funny because the other show, um, the 911 lone star with rob low.
- 55:25Cynthia: There's also another gay couple, male this time instead of female.
- 55:29Cynthia: There's a transgender, also firefighter, who was born female, became male and now a fireman.
- 55:37Cynthia: And they also deal with Muslim and drugs and stuff like that.
- 55:43Carmen Lezeth: But it's a periphery right, and I think that's the great stuff about storytelling Can you tell the story of people with them having these characteristics that we just start to accept?
- 55:54Tony D: you know, and I think that's what I haven't seen Lone Star yet, because I'd have to pay for it, if I may, it seems like they're showing the characters of all different genders, demographics, orientations, living in harmony.
- 56:04Tony D: That is a plus.
- 56:05Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, yeah, I mean, it's not even living in harmony, they're just living Because some of them are not in harmony is what I'm saying.
- 56:11Tony D: Well, what I'm saying?
- 56:12Tony D: You got a peaceful side because people have somebody in their life, which is what I was saying earlier.
- 56:18Tony D: Find somebody to be happy with who feels just as happy with you, and y'all live on fine.
- 56:21Carmen Lezeth: You know the show.
- 56:22Carmen Lezeth: What was the show with?
- 56:23Carmen Lezeth: It was such a great show.
- 56:24Carmen Lezeth: It was a comic show, will and Grace.
- 56:27Carmen Lezeth: Will and Grace remember that show, such a great show.
- 56:29Carmen Lezeth: So the lead actor, what is his name?
- 56:36Rick Costa: I forget his name.
- 56:36Carmen Lezeth: Which one?
- 56:37Carmen Lezeth: I forget his name?
- 56:38Carmen Lezeth: Oh, the one will will, so good looking oh my god, I've met him like so many times.
- 56:40Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, yeah, um, eric mccormick right, um, right, um.
- 56:44Carmen Lezeth: So he is actually heterosexual and this is at a time when this was not a thing like so.
- 56:51Carmen Lezeth: He was playing a gay character and he did it brilliantly.
- 56:53Carmen Lezeth: He did it brilliantly so much so that the LGBTQ community honored him for how he did it, because he didn't treat it horribly.
- 57:00Carmen Lezeth: Jazz hands yeah, that's Sean Hayes, just Sean.
- 57:05Carmen Lezeth: What was it?
- 57:06Ted: Just.
- 57:06Carmen Lezeth: Jack.
- 57:06Carmen Lezeth: He has a great podcast too, right, jack and the other two there have their great show.
- 57:13Carmen Lezeth: Karen was my favorite.
- 57:20Carmen Lezeth: I here's my favorite was my favorite.
- 57:21Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, back me up.
- 57:22Carmen Lezeth: Karen was amazing, but that show was groundbreaking in that.
- 57:23Carmen Lezeth: But but it was all about being gay, not the whole show, but it was a very important theme because we weren't ready for it to just be normal.
- 57:31Carmen Lezeth: You know, bobby said I don't think I could have retired at 50 without my soulmate.
- 57:36Tony D: Big up to you, Bobby.
- 57:37Carmen Lezeth: I love that.
- 57:37Carmen Lezeth: Congratulations on retiring.
- 57:39Carmen Lezeth: Dean said he was very acceptable.
- 57:41Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, will Eric McCormick.
- 57:43Carmen Lezeth: Eric is such a beautiful guy too.
- 57:46Carmen Lezeth: He really is a beautiful soul.
- 57:48Carmen Lezeth: But anyways, that's a whole other conversation.
- 57:49Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, I just look at.
- 57:51Carmen Lezeth: I highly recommend 9-1-1.
- 57:53Carmen Lezeth: I'm glad we had this conversation.
- 57:54Carmen Lezeth: I can't believe we're already at an hour and eight minutes.
- 57:57Carmen Lezeth: It's so funny.
- 57:58Carmen Lezeth: I feel like we just got started.
- 58:00Carmen Lezeth: You know what I'm saying.
- 58:01Carmen Lezeth: What else is going on with you guys?
- 58:03Carmen Lezeth: I'm not going to cut us off yet.
- 58:04Carmen Lezeth: Andrea, cynthia, I feel like you guys need to talk more so I can have some clips to put on Yell or something.
- 58:13Rick Costa: Be angry or say something.
- 58:14Carmen Lezeth: Oh I remember that?
- 58:16Tony D: Yes, I hope that drink come out your nose.
- 58:20Tony D: Keep it up.
- 58:21Andrea: That was from the 80s, cagney and Lacey's from the 80s.
- 58:24Andrea: Go with your time, brah.
- 58:26Tony D: That's right.
- 58:29Carmen Lezeth: So, Bobby, why are you saying brah?
- 58:30Carmen Lezeth: So much?
- 58:31Carmen Lezeth: It kind of loses its flavor.
- 58:32Carmen Lezeth: It's Bobby's phrase, I know, but I'm just saying it loses its flavor if you do it every time.
- 58:38Tony D: That's his thing, bra.
- 58:39Andrea: It's his new retirement.
- 58:41Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, what about you?
- 58:43Carmen Lezeth: What's going on this week for you?
- 58:44Carmen Lezeth: Anything, wonderful, great.
- 58:47Andrea: What was your moment of joy?
- 58:49Carmen Lezeth: We didn't hear Cynthia's moment.
- 58:50Andrea: We didn't hear Cynthia's moment of joy.
- 58:52Cynthia: Yes, so this week actually wasn't too bad.
- 58:55Cynthia: Last week was horrible, but this week wasn't too bad, and today I actually had four interviews with the pathology department.
- 59:07Carmen Lezeth: Is this in the same hospital, though, where you work?
- 59:09Carmen Lezeth: It is.
- 59:09Carmen Lezeth: I'm glad you did that.
- 59:11Carmen Lezeth: Look at, ted Hicks, I ain't even talking to you, so when do you hear or do you have another interview afterwards?
- 59:15Carmen Lezeth: Was it back to back?
- 59:17Cynthia: Has it been over time?
- 59:17Cynthia: It was all back to back.
- 59:18Cynthia: It literally went from 1230 to three o'clock all day today.
- 59:21Cynthia: Oh my God, it's horrible.
- 59:22Rick Costa: They all loved you, they loved you.
- 59:25Cynthia: They were really cool, I mean, they were very, so it was good.
- 59:30Carmen Lezeth: So now you know you're going to have to give us the update.
- 59:33Cynthia: What do you find out though?
- 59:35Carmen Lezeth: I mean that would be cool because, as everyone knows on the show, because it's all about Cynthia.
- 59:39Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia wants to work with dead bodies, and so she's been trying to get her foot in the door, and even though we've tried to use some of our connections who have said that they would help you, and they never responded.
- 59:50Carmen Lezeth: I ain't going to say names, but we know who it is.
- 59:53Carmen Lezeth: What's his name?
- 59:54Rick Costa: Which one?
- 59:54Carmen Lezeth: I forgot his name, Mr Ed right.
- 59:56Rick Costa: Which name?
- 59:57Rick Costa: Which one do you want?
- 59:57Rick Costa: All these people with multiple names?
- 1:00:00Rick Costa: I don't know what to call anybody anymore.
- 1:00:02Carmen Lezeth: People names.
- 1:00:02Carmen Lezeth: Anyway, ed or whoever, whatever his name was he said he was going to help and connect with Cynthia.
- 1:00:07Carmen Lezeth: He never did and I'm going to do something and they don't show up and actually do it.
- 1:00:13Carmen Lezeth: That's bullshit.
- 1:00:14Carmen Lezeth: I can't stand that.
- 1:00:15Carmen Lezeth: But anyway, cynthia, I'm so proud of you and I'm so happy and, whatever happens, I told you in the text today.
- 1:00:21Carmen Lezeth: I was like I just love that you are going to keep pursuing what it is you want to do, no matter what.
- 1:00:26Carmen Lezeth: Absolutely, absolutely, tony, what you got going on.
- 1:00:31Carmen Lezeth: Can you give us some positivity?
- 1:00:33Carmen Lezeth: Just some.
- 1:00:34Tony D: I actually thought about it.
- 1:00:36Tony D: It's not positive.
- 1:00:36Tony D: I will tell you that I actually did get a few medical appointments out the way.
- 1:00:42Tony D: But I actually have a new reason to lose weight, because when I went to the dentist a couple days ago, my blood pressure was entirely too high even for my own standards.
- 1:00:52Tony D: So I'm going to slow myself down.
- 1:00:53Tony D: Actually, I know y'all talking about me grabbing liquor or whatever entirely too high even for my own standards.
- 1:00:54Tony D: Um yeah, so I'm gonna slow myself down.
- 1:00:54Tony D: Actually, I know y'all talking about me grabbing liquor, whatever.
- 1:00:56Tony D: No, I've been drinking a lot of water and trying to cut down on my meals because I didn't even have no coffee that day.
- 1:01:01Tony D: But I went to the dentist and my blood pressure was um 177 or 118 and I was like what do you mean?
- 1:01:07Tony D: It's 177 or 118?
- 1:01:09Tony D: I said I know I'm bored a lot.
- 1:01:09Tony D: I've been bored a lot about 30 years.
- 1:01:11Tony D: I'm normally like 130, over 90 or something like that.
- 1:01:14Tony D: I was like, okay, let me sit down for a minute.
- 1:01:17Tony D: So I sat down.
- 1:01:18Tony D: Still, I never dropped below 170 for the diet-starting number, which is not good.
- 1:01:22Tony D: I know that myself.
- 1:01:23Tony D: So I'm just making some changes.
- 1:01:26Tony D: I got to drop my weight.
- 1:01:27Tony D: I'm at my limit as far as how much I would ever say I would weigh, and now I need to drop about 40 or 40 pounds, which I'll be working on.
- 1:01:35Carmen Lezeth: But is it about dropping weight or is it about?
- 1:01:37Carmen Lezeth: I mean, dropping weight is probably important, but isn't it also about what we eat, like you eat?
- 1:01:42Tony D: a lot of fast food.
- 1:01:43Carmen Lezeth: I'm not trying to be judgy.
- 1:01:44Tony D: No, you're fine, You're fine.
- 1:01:47Carmen Lezeth: All the time and all that oil.
- 1:01:49Tony D: I destroy fast food.
- 1:01:50Tony D: But I also know I'm getting older.
- 1:01:52Tony D: I'm not eating as much as you all see me, and it might be the second time that day that I eat the coffee can do it too.
- 1:01:58Tony D: You know what's crazy, cynthia?
- 1:02:00Tony D: I didn't have any that day.
- 1:02:01Tony D: Death was bothering me.
- 1:02:03Tony D: I did not have any coffee.
- 1:02:04Cynthia: So I haven't had coffee in two years and I used to drink coffee every day.
- 1:02:08Cynthia: Two years without coffee and my blood pressure has gotten definitely gotten a lot.
- 1:02:13Carmen Lezeth: We have to end the show right now yeah, I'm sorry, I'm having palpitations and I normally do drink coffee.
- 1:02:22Tony D: My blood pressure may be 130 over 90 or something like that.
- 1:02:25Tony D: I've gone in, like me, to calm down.
- 1:02:27Tony D: When I saw that 177, I said, yeah, let me, let me chill out.
- 1:02:29Tony D: Um, I wasn't.
- 1:02:31Tony D: I'm not big on the fried foods as much as I used to be.
- 1:02:34Tony D: As much as you see me eat, you also know I eat somewhat healthy.
- 1:02:38Tony D: I'll get a salad in a minute.
- 1:02:39Tony D: I'll get a staple, some vegetables.
- 1:02:41Tony D: It's not always fried foods or high sugar foods.
- 1:02:44Tony D: Do I do a lot of candy?
- 1:02:45Tony D: Yes, but I'm cutting myself down on a lot of.
- 1:02:49Tony D: I've definitely cut down on the liquor, more than people realize, because I'll be honest with you, the last time I showed that I had a Crown Royal bottle was the last time I actually had Crown, and that's been about two, three months.
- 1:02:58Tony D: I haven't even had as much beer as I normally drink when I don't drink liquor.
- 1:03:02Tony D: So to me I know Are you?
- 1:03:03Cynthia: drinking right now.
- 1:03:11Tony D: No, I'm drinking water right now, honestly, I don't know if.
- 1:03:12Tony D: Look, I'm just to say I'm about to hold a camera over the cup look at.
- 1:03:15Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what I'm drinking right now?
- 1:03:16Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what this is looks?
- 1:03:18Tony D: like milk milk.
- 1:03:20Carmen Lezeth: What kind of brown milk do you drink?
- 1:03:22Tony D: what is that?
- 1:03:24Carmen Lezeth: iced coffee.
- 1:03:24Tony D: Is that a white Russian?
- 1:03:25Carmen Lezeth: it's iced coffee, ice a white Russian what's sometimes actually this is decaf, but andrea knows, andrea, what do I have in my cabinet?
- 1:03:33Carmen Lezeth: In the kitchen?
- 1:03:34Carmen Lezeth: You were a little bit thrown.
- 1:03:35Carmen Lezeth: I live by myself.
- 1:03:36Carmen Lezeth: Right, I have visitors, but I live by myself in my cabinet when you walk in left hand side.
- 1:03:41Carmen Lezeth: I have like at least minimum 10 different types of coffee.
- 1:03:47Tony D: I'm up to see you come.
- 1:03:48Tony D: I don't put coffee in the house oh no, I love I.
- 1:03:50Carmen Lezeth: But here's the thing I only drink two cups of coffee before 6 am.
- 1:03:53Carmen Lezeth: After that, I don't drink it.
- 1:03:54Carmen Lezeth: Now, this is decaf and it's iced coffee and there's still a little caffeine in it, but I just wanted the flavor.
- 1:04:02Tony D: I love coffee.
- 1:04:02Tony D: Decaf coffee is blasphemy.
- 1:04:05Carmen Lezeth: It's not.
- 1:04:05Carmen Lezeth: I like the flavor.
- 1:04:06Carmen Lezeth: I can't drink caffeine at night because I won't go to sleep.
- 1:04:15Tony D: Exactly.
- 1:04:15Tony D: I'm going to just mess with me, but I got to do something to correct my blood pressure.
- 1:04:17Tony D: I also attribute it to my breathing issues that I've had during allergy season.
- 1:04:19Carmen Lezeth: Your what.
- 1:04:20Tony D: Breathing issues.
- 1:04:21Carmen Lezeth: Oh, breathing, I thought you said my bougie issues.
- 1:04:25Tony D: I am nowhere near bougie right now, trust me.
- 1:04:29Carmen Lezeth: Liquor before beer, never fear.
- 1:04:31Tony D: Never fear.
- 1:04:32Carmen Lezeth: Ted, you had an invite to come up on the show, so I'm kind of offended that you're over here in the comment section.
- 1:04:38Tony D: Ted hasn't even really been broadcasting.
- 1:04:40Tony D: He's been busy.
- 1:04:41Carmen Lezeth: He's not busy, he'd be lazy.
- 1:04:42Carmen Lezeth: I'm just going to say he can come up for five minutes and say shalom.
- 1:04:48Carmen Lezeth: He can come up for five minutes and say hello, I'm just saying I would do it, for is that normal 6'2" 250?
- 1:04:59Carmen Lezeth: What do you want to be?
- 1:05:01Tony D: If it was all muscle.
- 1:05:02Tony D: Yes, I've been 6'2", 245.
- 1:05:03Tony D: I'm pretty lean with it.
- 1:05:04Tony D: I have when I dropped down to 220, I actually got complimented a lot more, so I know it's in my gut.
- 1:05:10Tony D: I just got to drop my stomach down.
- 1:05:11Carmen Lezeth: How did you feel?
- 1:05:12Carmen Lezeth: Like?
- 1:05:13Carmen Lezeth: What is your goal?
- 1:05:14Carmen Lezeth: To feel good, like I'm miserable.
- 1:05:23Carmen Lezeth: My goal would be there's stairs that we have here that everybody works out on in Santa Monica Beach and I used to be able to go up those five times up and down, up and down and after my surgery.
- 1:05:30Carmen Lezeth: And in the past couple of years it's been like I go up it and I'm like I'm near death because I'm so out of shape.
- 1:05:36Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:05:36Carmen Lezeth: But now I'm doing so much better now that I got my thyroid thing on point, whatever, so I went up three times today.
- 1:05:41Carmen Lezeth: It was awesome.
- 1:05:42Tony D: I got a question for you.
- 1:05:43Tony D: All jokes aside, when you go up the stairs and you're exhausted, this is your breathing.
- 1:05:48Carmen Lezeth: So let's be clear what we're talking about stairs.
- 1:05:50Carmen Lezeth: We're not talking about regular stairs.
- 1:05:51Carmen Lezeth: We're talking about workout stairs Like they're really.
- 1:06:01Tony D: I don't know how to explain it, andrea, because I guess people who don't know what they're steep, and there's a lot of them, it's not?
- 1:06:06Carmen Lezeth: like, yeah, and you go up them, and it's a workout.
- 1:06:08Carmen Lezeth: You go up them, you go down hundreds of steps, yeah it's not like I can go up regular stairs, that's not a problem, because I had my hip surgery and I had some issues with my thyroid.
- 1:06:20Carmen Lezeth: I got really out of shape and you know, during covid the whole thing is just kind of like.
- 1:06:22Carmen Lezeth: And so I'm trying to get hip surgery and I had some issues with my thyroid.
- 1:06:23Carmen Lezeth: I got really out of shape and during COVID the whole thing is just kind of like, and so trying to get back in shape has been hard because and that's when I knew I was in trouble I couldn't even get up half the stairs.
- 1:06:31Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, oh my God, oh my God.
- 1:06:32Tony D: That sounds like a breathing issue.
- 1:06:33Tony D: That's what I'm asking, honestly.
- 1:06:35Carmen Lezeth: It's a workout, endurance thing.
- 1:06:37Andrea: It's like you got to get back in shape.
- 1:06:39Andrea: It's like you got to get back in shape.
- 1:06:40Carmen Lezeth: It's like an aerobic issue Cardio.
- 1:06:42Tony D: An aerobic yeah.
- 1:06:43Cynthia: Again, I don't need to be here.
- 1:06:44Carmen Lezeth: Andrea's here for me, speaking for me.
- 1:06:45Carmen Lezeth: Thank you very much.
- 1:06:48Tony D: Listen to me, I will tell you.
- 1:06:49Tony D: I do literally walk about a mile and a half a day just with work alone.
- 1:06:52Tony D: I can almost promise you I put away at least two miles a day.
- 1:06:57Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but I put you mean two miles a day.
- 1:06:59Tony D: No, by this app I'm responding to the comments that you're going up in there.
- 1:07:02Carmen Lezeth: How much do you guys walk a day?
- 1:07:03Carmen Lezeth: Do you guys walk a lot a day?
- 1:07:04Carmen Lezeth: I wear a Fitbit, so I know how much I walk at least a day.
- 1:07:08Tony D: I walk a lot and I'm also contorting my body a lot with my job.
- 1:07:13Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:14Carmen Lezeth: I do a lot of Contorting what?
- 1:07:16Cynthia: Yeah.
- 1:07:16Tony D: Because Because of my job I got to work my way into things and all that.
- 1:07:19Tony D: So it sounds a little.
- 1:07:22Carmen Lezeth: What is?
- 1:07:23Andrea: Ted doing?
- 1:07:23Andrea: He's responding to a comment on another show, is he?
- 1:07:29Tony D: Who is the ultimate coach for me?
- 1:07:31Tony D: Who?
- 1:07:31Andrea: is?
- 1:07:31Andrea: I think Ted Hicks is.
- 1:07:34Rick Costa: Oh, he's saying himself, Ted you need to just come up I emailed you.
- 1:07:39Carmen Lezeth: You can come up for five minutes.
- 1:07:40Carmen Lezeth: I will stay on the show for another ten minutes for you to come up and say hi.
- 1:07:43Rick Costa: You ain't that busy, he ain't busy.
- 1:07:47Carmen Lezeth: He over here talking smack in the comments because he ain't got the huevos to come up in person and say this shit to my face.
- 1:07:56Carmen Lezeth: Wow, rick, can you send him the thing I ate one bowl of Wheaties.
- 1:08:02Carmen Lezeth: Is Wheaties still a thing?
- 1:08:04Tony D: Yes, it is.
- 1:08:07Carmen Lezeth: Wasn't Bruce Jenner on the cover of Wheaties?
- 1:08:08Carmen Lezeth: Yes, he was.
- 1:08:09Carmen Lezeth: All right, ted, you're going to come up.
- 1:08:14Carmen Lezeth: Somebody send Ted the link.
- 1:08:15Carmen Lezeth: I sent it to him already.
- 1:08:19Tony D: Carl, you glitched a little bit.
- 1:08:21Carmen Lezeth: I did, I glitched Tell bit I did, I glitched.
- 1:08:23Carmen Lezeth: Tell me I'm paying a lot of money.
- 1:08:25Carmen Lezeth: I'm glitching a lot.
- 1:08:29Tony D: You're not the only one.
- 1:08:29Tony D: You made it happen to me.
- 1:08:32Tony D: I was mad.
- 1:08:34Carmen Lezeth: Am I glitching to you, Cynthia?
- 1:08:35Carmen Lezeth: No.
- 1:08:35Carmen Lezeth: I think it's you, babe Just kidding.
- 1:08:41Carmen Lezeth: Thank you for telling me, because these guys they Rick, have you noticed that?
- 1:08:45Carmen Lezeth: They've changed the whole format?
- 1:08:47Carmen Lezeth: They've changed everything.
- 1:08:48Carmen Lezeth: I was using it with Andrea.
- 1:08:50Carmen Lezeth: No, they've changed it, there's email.
- 1:08:54Carmen Lezeth: So, like now, when your guests come on, they're on the right hand side and it's like it's like it's actually better because it's smaller, but you can see each person and and then over here is all the different ways you can put comments up.
- 1:09:11Tony D: You can put all this stuff.
- 1:09:11Tony D: I haven't played with that yet, but um is ted.
- 1:09:12Tony D: Last week I think it was like extreme 2.0 or something like that it did some it's um, it's the ai thing, it's ai something, something good lord.
- 1:09:19Carmen Lezeth: so I I want to throw it back to andrea and then I want to talk to Cynthia because I need some more bites so I can put them on the show.
- 1:09:25Carmen Lezeth: Andrea, can we talk a little bit about work?
- 1:09:28Carmen Lezeth: I know we talked a little bit about it before we came online, but where are you at?
- 1:09:32Carmen Lezeth: What's happening and what's going on in the future, and I know what you're excited about?
- 1:09:38Andrea: Well, today I came home from my monthly trip out to Iowa.
- 1:09:41Andrea: And where am I?
- 1:09:44Andrea: Well, today I came home from my monthly trip out to iowa, and so that was my moment of joy getting in my car at the airport and just being like thank god, god, um, and I don't have to go back for at least three months, so they're in a pretty decent way you said, september is september, only three months away.
- 1:09:57Carmen Lezeth: No, what are we in june?
- 1:10:00Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I mean I'd have to start planning it in August, but anyway, so that's what's happening with work.
- 1:10:07Carmen Lezeth: But I am like You're going to Europe in June, which is why we're trying to figure out.
- 1:10:13Andrea: Yes, yeah, I'm taking the kids to the UK and Paris and Germany.
- 1:10:18Andrea: She's a horrible mother.
- 1:10:21Andrea: I just want you to know.
- 1:10:24Carmen Lezeth: It's just a horrible thing to do to your children.
- 1:10:26Carmen Lezeth: They have to take that.
- 1:10:27Carmen Lezeth: So that's why we were trying to schedule when we can hang out because it's been such a long time.
- 1:10:31Carmen Lezeth: But I mean, I think that's what's great about friendships, right?
- 1:10:34Carmen Lezeth: Like people always ask me questions and there are times we don't see each other for months or we don't talk all the time.
- 1:10:40Carmen Lezeth: But we're good because when we do hang out it's like it was just yesterday, there's no drama and like I can't believe you didn't call me Tony.
- 1:10:48Carmen Lezeth: We can see you, you're fine.
- 1:10:49Carmen Lezeth: You don't have to apologize, love you.
- 1:10:51Tony D: No shoot, Andrea was talking.
- 1:10:53Tony D: You just started acting up.
- 1:10:54Tony D: I was looking like you.
- 1:10:57Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, you baby.
- 1:10:57Carmen Lezeth: It seems fine, but you're fine here like I haven't seen you glitched at all on our end, so maybe what you're interpreting and it's independent cameras that are glitching.
- 1:11:05Carmen Lezeth: I'm noticing that I think it's on you, it's not us.
- 1:11:08Tony D: We all see each other clearly perfectly well I'm gonna watch the replay and see how it looks.
- 1:11:12Carmen Lezeth: Okay, you do that, baby, but here's what I was gonna say about friendships and relationships in general.
- 1:11:16Carmen Lezeth: I think that's kind of the like when I think my great friendships it's not because I talk to them every day or I'm with them every day or I go out to eat with them or see them all the time, it's that when we are together the time is so quality and it doesn't feel like we missed a step.
- 1:11:35Carmen Lezeth: That's the best part of friendship.
- 1:11:37Carmen Lezeth: Now, if I could find that in a man that wasn't needy, that didn't, then it'd be perfect.
- 1:11:40Carmen Lezeth: But but but I love find that in a man that wasn't needy, that didn't, then it'd be perfect, but I love that.
- 1:11:44Carmen Lezeth: I think it's the same thing with Cynthia, who actually is my cousin, and Cynthia, I think you and I we just never have any issues.
- 1:11:51Carmen Lezeth: We just we talk when we do and like we might not text for a few days or a few weeks, but then when we do it's fine and we'll do a video chat thing and we laugh for a couple hours and and it's no drama.
- 1:12:05Carmen Lezeth: Is it just with me or is that normal for you guys?
- 1:12:07Carmen Lezeth: I want it to be all about me.
- 1:12:08Carmen Lezeth: I'm the common denominator here, I think, because I'm me.
- 1:12:12Carmen Lezeth: Don't you think that all my relationships that are important to me are like that.
- 1:12:16Carmen Lezeth: They're not high drama, and if they are, I cut them.
- 1:12:18Carmen Lezeth: So I'm curious for both of you, andrea and Cynthia.
- 1:12:21Carmen Lezeth: Andrea to go first how is?
- 1:12:24Andrea: it for you.
- 1:12:24Andrea: Yeah, that's kind of a requirement for me because, as you know, I'm a bit of a flake right, so I need people who aren't going to be you know dramatic how you doing baby.
- 1:12:36Carmen Lezeth: I'm so glad you came up for a few minutes.
- 1:12:39Ted: I missed the email.
- 1:12:40Ted: I'm sorry.
- 1:12:41Carmen Lezeth: You don't have to be sorry.
- 1:12:42Carmen Lezeth: I always send you an email but I never pressure you by then tagging you or texting you, because I just assume if you want to come on, you'll come on.
- 1:12:48Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to let Andrea finish her.
- 1:12:50Ted: Yes, Andrea, I'm so sorry.
- 1:12:52Ted: Tell us about how you are.
- 1:12:54Andrea: No, I was just agreeing with you that it's is going to be upset and, have you know, bring a bunch of drama about how often we're talking or you know all those kinds of things, or make it feel like you know I need to give them some kind of special attention.
- 1:13:10Andrea: That's, that's just.
- 1:13:10Andrea: I can't really do that.
- 1:13:11Andrea: You know what I mean?
- 1:13:11Andrea: Too much work, yeah, like it's gotta be easy.
- 1:13:14Andrea: Yeah, cynthia, what about?
- 1:13:17Cynthia: you, um, but the same way.
- 1:13:25Cynthia: I mean um.
- 1:13:25Cynthia: Like me and my friends, we don't talk every day, we barely talk once a month.
- 1:13:27Cynthia: But when we do talk, you know it's quality time.
- 1:13:28Cynthia: Um, same with my, my sisters, every time.
- 1:13:30Cynthia: So I'll get into a little argument, or there's a bunch of drama in their lives and we won't talk for a couple of weeks, but then when we get back together it's all good that's after you've had therapy with me because I have to hear about the drama with your sisters, right, right.
- 1:13:42Carmen Lezeth: And it's so funny because, since they're so cute, she's like I.
- 1:13:45Carmen Lezeth: I hate them, I don't want to talk to them, and then I'm like you love them.
- 1:13:48Cynthia: You're gonna talk to them.
- 1:13:49Carmen Lezeth: It's big.
- 1:13:50Carmen Lezeth: It's okay, that's what family does.
- 1:13:52Carmen Lezeth: But, um, since ted is in the house, baby, how you doing?
- 1:13:55Carmen Lezeth: What's going on?
- 1:13:56Carmen Lezeth: Where have you been?
- 1:13:57Carmen Lezeth: Where is late night?
- 1:13:58Carmen Lezeth: Parents, give us, us the school.
- 1:13:59Ted: We're coming up next.
- 1:14:01Ted: Once you release Tony from his engagement, he can then come on and jump on with us, and all of you guys are invited always.
- 1:14:10Carmen Lezeth: Okay, but Ted, you're so putting that on me.
- 1:14:12Carmen Lezeth: You have not been on for weeks.
- 1:14:13Carmen Lezeth: Don't do that, my brother.
- 1:14:14Carmen Lezeth: Where have you been?
- 1:14:16Carmen Lezeth: I know you're busy with work and stuff, but come on, don't put that on me.
- 1:14:20Carmen Lezeth: I'm not keeping Tony.
- 1:14:21Carmen Lezeth: He can leave at any motherfucking time.
- 1:14:22Carmen Lezeth: You know that's true.
- 1:14:23Carmen Lezeth: We love him.
- 1:14:25Ted: Tony feels obligated.
- 1:14:26Ted: We talk about it all the time, about this show and how late-night parents is here.
- 1:14:32Ted: All about the joyous.
- 1:14:35Cynthia: I know, tony seems happier over here than he does over on your show.
- 1:14:39Rick Costa: I mean we are on a regular basis, as opposed to other people's shows, just saying.
- 1:14:44Cynthia: Oh right.
- 1:14:45Ted: Ah, okay, got it, but no, just enjoying life day by day and just daytime work and other projects I'm working on and it's not enough time in a day, you know.
- 1:15:01Ted: So I don't know how you do it, carmen, with the multiple projects and everything.
- 1:15:05Ted: That's a discussion we're going to have offline.
- 1:15:08Carmen Lezeth: Well, I'll tell you quickly.
- 1:15:09Carmen Lezeth: I think this is the only thing that gives me.
- 1:15:10Carmen Lezeth: You know, andrea knows this there is no happiness in my job.
- 1:15:15Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:15:16Carmen Lezeth: So the reason why I do this is because I think it keeps me sane.
- 1:15:20Carmen Lezeth: I like doing this and doing the clips.
- 1:15:22Carmen Lezeth: I'll stay up until 3 in the morning and do them so that the social media can go out, or whatever.
- 1:15:26Carmen Lezeth: I think it's what fuels me.
- 1:15:28Carmen Lezeth: I would not work if I had enough money, if you would give me money, because I know you have a big trust fund.
- 1:15:33Carmen Lezeth: If you would give me money, I would not work and I'd only work on this.
- 1:15:35Carmen Lezeth: You're so cheap.
- 1:15:36Carmen Lezeth: You know what I cheap, ted, but yeah, that's the only reason why I do it.
- 1:15:41Carmen Lezeth: But I'm not married either with kids.
- 1:15:43Carmen Lezeth: Remember that Kids and green kids.
- 1:15:48Carmen Lezeth: That's the problem, not problem, that's your joy, but I'm saying that's why I have what we would make.
- 1:15:53Carmen Lezeth: I'm not going to call it extra time, because I made my decisions, you made yours.
- 1:15:57Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:15:58Carmen Lezeth: But what people don't understand is when you don't have children and you don't have those responsibilities, there is a different allotment of time that's allowed for me to do this other thing.
- 1:16:08Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:16:09Ted: Yeah, true, so but it's, it's good, it's you guys do what you guys with your continuity.
- 1:16:15Ted: It really it's really good for me because I get to watch you guys, um, you know, either as I'm commuting on the train in the morning or just listening to the pod.
- 1:16:26Carmen Lezeth: I appreciate you supporting us so much.
- 1:16:27Carmen Lezeth: I do.
- 1:16:28Carmen Lezeth: When I have more time I'm going to update the website and have some swag and whatever.
- 1:16:32Carmen Lezeth: Hopefully we can move forward.
- 1:16:34Carmen Lezeth: It's just been a crazy time.
- 1:16:35Carmen Lezeth: Trust me, I understand, but we miss you.
- 1:16:37Carmen Lezeth: We love having you on.
- 1:16:38Carmen Lezeth: I send you a link every week.
- 1:16:40Carmen Lezeth: I send you a link every week.
- 1:16:40Carmen Lezeth: I look at I send a lot of people the link every week because I think if you want to come on, you can come on.
- 1:16:44Carmen Lezeth: I'm never going to pressure people.
- 1:16:46Ted: Right.
- 1:16:47Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:16:47Carmen Lezeth: It's a neighborhood hangout.
- 1:16:49Carmen Lezeth: You stop by.
- 1:16:49Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:16:50Carmen Lezeth: You stop by whenever you want.
- 1:16:51Carmen Lezeth: So there's no pressure, Ted, I'm just messing with you, you know.
- 1:17:05Cynthia: But, while your audio podcast with the trip that you went on, fantastic I felt like I was there.
- 1:17:08Ted: Oh really, I did.
- 1:17:09Ted: I mean I actually pulled up and looked up the um the hotel you were at.
- 1:17:12Ted: I was just like really, right, I'm like wow and I'm sitting there looking at, you know, and it's like three stars or three and a half stars or four stars, whatever like that, and I was like really, so that was helpful, that's.
- 1:17:23Carmen Lezeth: Barcelo Hotel.
- 1:17:24Carmen Lezeth: Never stay at any Barcelo Hotel ever.
- 1:17:27Carmen Lezeth: Right.
- 1:17:28Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, thank you for saying that.
- 1:17:29Carmen Lezeth: I appreciate it.
- 1:17:30Carmen Lezeth: Again.
- 1:17:30Carmen Lezeth: I'm not.
- 1:17:31Carmen Lezeth: I know people get upset when I talk about this, but for me I'm in awe of it.
- 1:17:34Carmen Lezeth: We have over 550 followers on LinkedIn and I don't know if any of you know it's hard to get LinkedIn people to.
- 1:17:41Carmen Lezeth: That's on the live stream, that's on the.
- 1:17:44Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:17:45Carmen Lezeth: That's pretty cool and the podcast is crazy cool.
- 1:17:48Carmen Lezeth: Like I have so many followers and I'm shook by it and I kind of like it.
- 1:17:53Carmen Lezeth: Like I don't have like millions of followers or anything but for our little thing that we're just doing this.
- 1:17:57Carmen Lezeth: It's kind of cool.
- 1:17:58Carmen Lezeth: So, and and I know we have regular fall I was telling rick the other day.
- 1:18:01Carmen Lezeth: I said, rick, I have to post it at 3 am my time on sundays, because if I don't, there are two people no matter what every sunday morning when I get up at like six o'clock in the morning, that have already listened to the show.
- 1:18:13Carmen Lezeth: Like, so for them, I make sure it is posted at 3 am, because I'm sure they're on the east coast listening to it, you know.
- 1:18:19Carmen Lezeth: So I kind of love that, you know.
- 1:18:21Carmen Lezeth: So thank you for your support.
- 1:18:22Carmen Lezeth: I appreciate you.
- 1:18:23Ted: No, no, no.
- 1:18:24Ted: And just you guys are making an impact in people's lives.
- 1:18:28Ted: I don't know if it's positive or negative with tonight's topic.
- 1:18:33Carmen Lezeth: Because we were talking about penises.
- 1:18:35Rick Costa: Oh boy, here we go.
- 1:18:40Carmen Lezeth: It is part of the anatomy, Mr X.
- 1:18:42Ted: Yes, I know, I know, but I was cringing in the background seeing Tony just kind of.
- 1:18:49Ted: You know he's ducking and dodging and he's trying to answer it.
- 1:18:53Ted: He's thinking about all the people that are on LinkedIn, that are connected to his LinkedIn.
- 1:18:57Ted: I'm like Tony.
- 1:18:58Ted: No, no, no.
- 1:18:59Tony D: I just saw those messages.
- 1:19:00Tony D: I just saw those messages.
- 1:19:00Tony D: What messages?
- 1:19:00Tony D: Oh no, I just saw those messages.
- 1:19:02Carmen Lezeth: What messages?
- 1:19:03Carmen Lezeth: Oh no, I'm sorry.
- 1:19:06Tony D: We're chatting in the back.
- 1:19:06Tony D: No, you're fine, we were chatting in the back.
- 1:19:09Carmen Lezeth: It's a neighborhood chat.
- 1:19:10Carmen Lezeth: We're going to talk about whatever's going on.
- 1:19:11Carmen Lezeth: No, it was good.
- 1:19:14Ted: It was fun.
- 1:19:14Ted: It's good to have those type of discussions.
- 1:19:18Ted: I think they're just needed between men and women.
- 1:19:26Carmen Lezeth: You do need to do a girl show.
- 1:19:26Carmen Lezeth: You do.
- 1:19:27Carmen Lezeth: We do need to do a girl show.
- 1:19:27Carmen Lezeth: Here's the thing I think the I'm trying to look at trends.
- 1:19:29Carmen Lezeth: I'm trying to learn more about the background part of learning about my show.
- 1:19:33Carmen Lezeth: Right, so what I'm noticing is, whenever we talk about relationships, we have a really higher margin, but I also think it's because it's a much more fun topic for everyone to talk about relationship.
- 1:19:43Carmen Lezeth: I don't want to make the all about the joy, all about relationships, all the time, but and and I don't want to have shows that are always about negativity and fighting and argument Like that's not what all about the joy is.
- 1:19:53Carmen Lezeth: But I'm also starting to understand people like to listen to on the podcast things that matter to them and things that matter to them, and I think we all care about relationships.
- 1:20:00Carmen Lezeth: We all care about loving our lives.
- 1:20:01Carmen Lezeth: We all care about joy, happiness and how we can bring that into our lives more, and I think if this show can be a little catalyst for that, I'm all for it, you know.
- 1:20:11Rick Costa: And we all have relationships.
- 1:20:13Ted: Two last comments.
- 1:20:13Ted: Two last comments you have two different audiences your audio and your two totally different audiences.
- 1:20:20Ted: You got to keep that in mind yeah, for sure.
- 1:20:23Carmen Lezeth: Well, that's why I spent so much time editing the podcast, why we needed tony to have cynthia stop by and drop off his mic, because it really helps.
- 1:20:31Carmen Lezeth: But you said two comments, go ahead.
- 1:20:35Ted: I'm sorry oh, and the second one was I was waiting for you guys to say your highest rated shows when we did the collab shows listen.
- 1:20:48Carmen Lezeth: There's no doubt, I'm gonna tell you this for sure, there is no doubt, when we have a lot of people on the show, I get a lot of high uh audio, the audio especially for some, and I would think that'd be confusing to listen to all these different people.
- 1:21:01Carmen Lezeth: But people like that, people like when there's a lot of people.
- 1:21:04Carmen Lezeth: The banter the the other highest.
- 1:21:06Carmen Lezeth: Uh watch, uh listen to show on.
- 1:21:08Carmen Lezeth: The podcast is still my goddaughter and me on.
- 1:21:11Carmen Lezeth: I think we were 18 minutes or something.
- 1:21:13Carmen Lezeth: Yes, it was, like you know, talking to a gen z person about living with the hellish parents or whatever, yes, that's still way up there.
- 1:21:20Carmen Lezeth: And then this Barcelo hotel thing seems to have ticked the nerve but, I posted it.
- 1:21:27Ted: No pun intended, but grown legs.
- 1:21:29Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, right, yeah.
- 1:21:31Rick Costa: So just itching to hear about it.
- 1:21:32Rick Costa: People are waiting to hear about it, you know here's the thing.
- 1:21:39Ted: We were talking about it in the chat and I was like well, what happened?
- 1:21:42Ted: What happened?
- 1:21:43Ted: And some some unknown people were like hey, this is what happened.
- 1:21:47Ted: And I was like, well, where is it?
- 1:21:50Carmen Lezeth: And so the unknown people were like yeah, listen, I just want the show to still be as organic as possible, so I don't want to force ourselves to do anything.
- 1:22:00Carmen Lezeth: I'm just trying to force ourselves to do anything.
- 1:22:02Carmen Lezeth: I'm just trying to learn more about trends.
- 1:22:04Carmen Lezeth: Trying to learn more about because I told you, I'll have a three-year plan and what I would like to do is knock out one of my clients, which I have to be careful of, because now I realize all my clients know about my show and they also listen, which is kind of cool.
- 1:22:16Carmen Lezeth: And you don't mean physically knock out, you mean remove but I would really like to be able to supplement in some way, shape or form, a legit little bit of income from this, if at all possible, and also pay some people for the work that they do.
- 1:22:30Carmen Lezeth: That.
- 1:22:30Carmen Lezeth: You know, rick and Tony being on the show is really helpful.
- 1:22:33Carmen Lezeth: I'd love to give them a little cash, cynthia and Andrea, but then I'm just saying I mean it would be great, be great, you know to be able to do something, um, in a more professional manner, and there's so many people doing content creation that I really encourage everyone anyone who's listening to the show there is a new world out there to be able to make money using the internet and using content creation using all social media.
- 1:22:58Carmen Lezeth: It's a lot of work, but it can be done, can?
- 1:23:02Rick Costa: be done.
- 1:23:03Carmen Lezeth: So I love that you came on, ted.
- 1:23:06Carmen Lezeth: Thank you so much.
- 1:23:07Carmen Lezeth: Oh, please, I'm glad you were here I'm up.
- 1:23:12Ted: I wasn't asleep, I wasn't working, so here's the last thing.
- 1:23:15Ted: You had emailed me last week and you mentioned you were in the office early and I was extremely busy, but I wanted to text you back that, hey, I were in the office early and I was, so I was extremely busy, but I wanted to text you back that, hey, I'm in the office.
- 1:23:26Ted: I was in the office.
- 1:23:27Ted: 4 am your time.
- 1:23:29Carmen Lezeth: Which you know, I'm awake at four.
- 1:23:30Carmen Lezeth: That's not a problem, but go ahead.
- 1:23:33Ted: Oh, oh yeah, I just didn't want to be that type of person to send that message and burn, and then you jump up and you like cursing me out.
- 1:23:41Carmen Lezeth: I would never.
- 1:23:41Carmen Lezeth: So to anyone who doesn't know, I usually get up at four 30 Pacific time because I have also clients I have to deal with in other countries, so me answering emails as quickly as possible matters.
- 1:23:53Carmen Lezeth: But also I'm a morning person.
- 1:23:55Carmen Lezeth: Unfortunately, most of my friends are not.
- 1:23:57Carmen Lezeth: I won't talk about anyone in the room.
- 1:23:59Carmen Lezeth: No one in the room at all.
- 1:24:02Carmen Lezeth: I don't mean anyone in the room, but I'm up at.
- 1:24:08Carmen Lezeth: I've always been a morning person.
- 1:24:09Carmen Lezeth: I'm not a nighttime person, which was weird when I was younger, because we would always go to the clubs and I don't know about when you guys were growing up, but people started getting ready at like nine and 10 o'clock to go to the clubs and I'd be like, oh my God, I just want to go to sleep.
- 1:24:20Carmen Lezeth: I can't be ready to go to bed.
- 1:24:22Carmen Lezeth: So, yeah, you could have texted me, and even if you text me and I'm not awake or whatever I would, I would get it at like six or 7.
- 1:24:30Carmen Lezeth: Cause that's when my phone turns on anyway, like I don't have my phone on.
- 1:24:34Carmen Lezeth: But yeah, you're going to text me back.
- 1:24:35Carmen Lezeth: I don't mind, I'll, you're not going to wake me up or anything?
- 1:24:39Ted: I know now, I know now.
- 1:24:41Carmen Lezeth: But I don't get mad at you when you don't respond, I get you.
- 1:24:43Carmen Lezeth: You respond when you need to and if it's an emergency, I know you will respond, because I'll say really important, please respond.
- 1:24:49Carmen Lezeth: But we're good, you're not feeling bad, are you?
- 1:24:52Carmen Lezeth: No, you're just telling me.
- 1:24:54Carmen Lezeth: Ok, yeah, I'm just telling you.
- 1:24:56Carmen Lezeth: I miss you too, Are you going to go on?
- 1:25:00Ted: now we're on the same page.
- 1:25:01Ted: Come on, we're family.
- 1:25:02Ted: Thank you for your appreciation of X-Men 97,.
- 1:25:05Ted: By the way, I just had to throw that in there.
- 1:25:09Carmen Lezeth: Someone's got to on this panel.
- 1:25:11Carmen Lezeth: Everyone else is like they all love.
- 1:25:13Carmen Lezeth: Look at me and Andrea, the only people who don't give a shit about X-Men.
- 1:25:16Carmen Lezeth: Blah, blah, blah.
- 1:25:16Carmen Lezeth: Whatever, Okay, is your show coming on right now?
- 1:25:20Tony D: Tony are we coming on live?
- 1:25:21Tony D: It's going to be quick if I get up there.
- 1:25:23Carmen Lezeth: Okay, let's do it quick.
- 1:25:24Carmen Lezeth: All right, look it.
