Latest / The Treehouse Show Podcast / Episode 25 - Boozy Brushes with Fame, and Alfie Drops a BOMB
Transcript
- 0:26Oh, welcome into the treehouse. I'm down, I'm Alley along with Alfie
- 0:31Coy, Trey Trenholme, and I'm moving a little slowly today. Gentlemen,
- 0:37I apologize big night it was and it wasn't it wasn't exactly planned as such.
- 0:46Um, I don't want to say, you know too, I don't
- 0:50want to give too many details away because I like to try to respect some
- 0:52people's privacy to a certain extent um. And uh, but when when when
- 0:59you're out sometimes and Trey, you you can speak to experience on this because
- 1:03to me, this was sort of reminiscent of the night we hung out with
- 1:06the MAVs the night after they won the title, and then they were handing
- 1:10shots around the bar to us at the Loon, along with the trophy.
- 1:14So it was sort of like in one hand, Jason Terry is handing us
- 1:18a shot with one hand, and in the other he's handing us you know
- 1:21that, yeah, handing us to you O, Brian and drews Hey,
- 1:23which you'd have both, is it cool? Yeah? He was giving out
- 1:26redheaded sluts and the trophy and shot and that's but last night was was kind
- 1:40of similar to that one big difference was back when that happened in twenty eleven,
- 1:46when the MAVs won the title and and Trey gives me and Tara a
- 1:49call. The next night. We're at home, we're making dinner, and
- 1:53he's like, what are you doing. I was like, well, we're
- 1:55making dinner. He's like, stop it. You have to come to the
- 1:57Loon, and you have to you have to come to the Loon now.
- 2:00Now, typically, whenever Trey would would say that to us, we didn't
- 2:06need much convincing. But what I think Tara night at the time, We're
- 2:08like, now, we're just keeping making a quiet night at home, just
- 2:10making dinner. He's like, Nope, you need to get here. So
- 2:15we trusted our friend and we went. And next thing you know, you're
- 2:17surrounded by all the MAVs players, all the staff, Mark Cuban and the
- 2:21trophy and the redheaded sluts, and my goodness, well if you were I
- 2:25mean, because that was the night after. That was on a Monday night.
- 2:31They had won the title on a Sunday, but we were all because
- 2:35that's we were doing mornings at the time, and we were so dog ass
- 2:38tired from staying up and watching those damn games that we had all expected just
- 2:42to have an easy night. I remember that vividly because I was just gonna
- 2:49get some dinner and then found out, you know, Dirk had called and
- 2:52they were coming to the loon. Oh god, I remember that hangover.
- 3:00So a similar thing happened last night. We're out last night and um uh,
- 3:06run into a pair of celebrities and we're just which one, like crossed
- 3:10path? What's up? Which ones? I don't want to say, Alfie,
- 3:15why not? Because I want to protect their privacy to a certain extent,
- 3:21and I don't want to be one of those guys that's just like their
- 3:24celebrities. They understand that part of their celebrity status is always being in the
- 3:29public eye, and you lose just a certain modicum of your privacy if you're
- 3:34out. You know, I'm not saying people should be looking in their damn
- 3:37bathroom windows, but if you're out, it's okay. You know. I
- 3:39think for somebody to go, oh yeah, I saw him this person last
- 3:43night or that person last night. Mmm, why are you friends with this
- 3:46person? Now? Well, if I tell you I partied with him and
- 3:50did all sorts of things, then then I will then I won't have the
- 3:53opportunity to be friends with him. So that's what it is. That's exactly
- 3:58what it is. Right, he did all sorts of things. Did uh
- 4:03and invite you to go back to his boat? I wish I would have
- 4:08gone to his boat. I'm not even sure if he had said, you
- 4:13want to come see my boat, if I would have let him finish with
- 4:15see my boat? Balls. Yes, I'm in uh Trey. You obviously
- 4:26know who it is and alpha did I did? I tell you. I'm
- 4:29pretty sure I can gather based on context clues. Okay, Well, anyway,
- 4:35so we were going into a bar and we we crossed, passed.
- 4:38We were going up the stairs to one bar, and and there's a couple
- 4:42of famous people were were leaving and that they were like blocking the stairs.
- 4:46Um. But like I said, I don't want to get into much of
- 4:49it, but we did end up it turned out it wasn't two famous people,
- 4:54it was three. I didn't know who the third person was until this
- 4:57morning. And it turns out, at least on social media, he's more
- 5:00famous than the other two that I was actually aware of. So go figure.
- 5:03But that guy bought bought drinks for everybody at one point, and that
- 5:10was really about it. But when when someone hands you a thirty dollars shot
- 5:15of tequila, I'm sorry, aren't you kind of obliged to take it?
- 5:23If you're not me sure, if you're not a recovering alcoholic? Yeah?
- 5:27Absolutely no, No, Tram, I'm in the middle of my alcoholism.
- 5:30So what was that? Someone hands me a free shot, I'm probably gonna
- 5:33take it. What was it? It was lunas something that's like or the
- 5:43Alunazul? Is that what it is? Maybe I didn't know. I've seen
- 5:47that bottle of stuff around. I didn't know that that was, you know,
- 5:49I did. It was supposedly that existed. Was it the tall,
- 5:55white, bought white and blue bottle? That's my guess, because I see
- 5:58that bottle everyone where. Yeah, that's I think that was. I think
- 6:05that was probably. Yeah, isn't that like the like the Plano Soccer Mom
- 6:10tequila? You know I could see that because no, I could actually see
- 6:16it being this tequila, because this tequila bottle that you're talking or this tequila
- 6:19brand that we're talking about, has to me the very distinguished bottle. It's
- 6:24tall, it's white, it's sort of porcelain looking with blue, you know,
- 6:28design on it. So it's it's a tequila bottle you can keep out
- 6:31in the open, yes, because it immediately looks like exactly because because it's
- 6:38it's tequila inside of something that just looks like a piece of art or some
- 6:43type of thing you just have in the house for decor you know, it
- 6:46could have olive oil in therefore all we know. Yeah, but it's tequila
- 6:49for you know, for for when wine isn't a knocking mom socks off just
- 6:54enough. I've I've seen that bottle forever and ever, and I had no
- 6:58clue what the hell it was. I assume it was some sort of uh
- 7:01tequila, mescal or something like that, just based on the design. But
- 7:05I asked some liquor store employee one time, like, Hey, what the
- 7:11hell is the deal, and it's like, well, it's some hyper expensive,
- 7:14needlessly expensive almost tequila. I've never had it. I know, good
- 7:17tequila, though, although I don't want to say it now that iverythink about
- 7:21it, because they don't employ me no more. Yeah, screw that tequila
- 7:29anyway. But it is hard to say that because it actually is. Damn
- 7:31it is really good tequila. Yeah, Yeah, did you ask how was
- 7:39it? Yeah, it's fine. It tastes like tequila. I like,
- 7:44I've I've come to the conclusion that that I think I have a trash palette.
- 7:47And I knew it was tequila when I tasted it, because to me,
- 7:51tequila's very obvious. You know, once it gets and gets in your
- 7:55mouth, it's like, okay, yeah, that's definitely tequila. Um.
- 7:59Sorry, it's got an image of you as like an alcoholic raccoon, just
- 8:07rummaging through a trash man, finding little bottles of whatever you can with your
- 8:11little raccoon hands and just kind of throwing the bottle behind you. Dan's the
- 8:18booze Panda. I'm ready to go home now. The show ain't gonna get
- 8:28any better from there. I mean, how do you come back from booze
- 8:31Panda. I think I need to start up a new alter ego on social
- 8:35media. But you understand good good whiskey, don't you. You can taste
- 8:39the difference between you know, just decent stuff and then the trash stuff and
- 8:43then the really good stuff. You know what. At times I think I
- 8:46can like the like the the guy that we've had in a few times from
- 8:50us. Yeah, from Garrison Brothers, um the whiskies that that he's brought
- 8:58in for us and that I've had, Yes, like some of those.
- 9:01Some of those I can really taste a huge difference, which sucks because some
- 9:05of the ones that I like the best are the ones that are like three
- 9:09hundred dollars a bottle, and I'm not going to justify spending that amount of
- 9:11money. But at the same time, I remember, way back on one
- 9:16of my birthdays when we were on the radio, you guys had bought me
- 9:20a or maybe got it through a plugola, a big bottle of Johnny Walker
- 9:28Blue and that stuff is super top shelve. It's over two hundred something dollars
- 9:33a bottle, and I took it home and I tried it, and I
- 9:37was like, it's to me, it doesn't seem like it's that much better
- 9:41than say, Johnny Walker Black Label. I don't know. Well, why
- 9:45don't you tell me that I would have gotten because like for your your ten
- 9:48year radio anniversary, Oh no, it was more than ten year, wouldn't
- 9:52it. It was your twenty year radio anniversary. I got you Johnny Walker
- 9:56Platinum. Do you have any idea how long it took me to find that
- 9:58damn ball. No, it was like several days of hunting. I called
- 10:05every single liquor store in town. It was a discontinued liquor. Well,
- 10:13I mean I drank it. How was it pretty good? You don't know?
- 10:20You don't know. It tastes like it tastes like scotch. I taste
- 10:24all smoky and stuff. Were you mixing it with something? Were you just
- 10:28straight up or on the rocks? Well, FirstLine wise, I was I
- 10:33was mixing it with fresca, because I know that would actually absolutely make Alfie's
- 10:41skin and teeth crawl to know that he bought such a high end liquor for
- 10:45me and I mixed it with you know, sitt rus soda um. But
- 10:48no, I'm with a high end stuff like that. I usually I'm a
- 10:52I'm a rock skuy typically, even though they say you're not supposed to,
- 10:54because then that kind of waters it down. But that's how I like it.
- 10:56I like it cold, one hundred dollars damn bottle of whiskey. And
- 11:03I appreciate it, Alfie, I really do. M I appreciate that you
- 11:07that you spent so much time in trying to find a gift for me to
- 11:11describe the palette or the flavor profile of Johnny Walker Platinum camp Fire. You
- 11:16don't know what smokey I will Johnny Walker. Go ahead, Johnie Walker Blue
- 11:24tastes like smokey roses. Like that it is, but you have to you
- 11:31have to like like. Scotch is a is an acquired taste either you like
- 11:35like. But if if you enjoy a Scotch, Johnny Walker Blue is as
- 11:41smooth of a blended as you're gonna find. I mean, it's hell you
- 11:43could chug the damn thing. We're most question. Okay, have you chugged
- 11:50Johnny Walker Blue? Tray, how do you know that? I'm gonna before
- 11:54Trey answers that, I'm gonna ask Tray a quick follow up question, Trey,
- 11:58how many years have you been sober? Coming up on seven years?
- 12:03So, Alfie, what do you think the answer to your question is going
- 12:05to be? I think the answers yes, because how else would he know
- 12:09that you can chug Johnny Walker Blue? So I tell you what? Ask
- 12:13him again now with new information, Trey, have you chugged Johnny Walker Blue?
- 12:20Yes? I Oh my god, I imagine trade chuck Johnny Walker Blue
- 12:24so hard he actually ended up chugging some of actual Johnny Walker. I.
- 12:31Now, let me set the stage though, because I don't you know the
- 12:33stage. You did it in front of an audience. My god, man,
- 12:37um, I was on a hunting trip with wealthy people, very wealthy
- 12:46people, and us running in the wealthy circles. Oh yeah, this was
- 12:50And let this be a lesson to any to any wealthy folk that happened to
- 12:54be listening, We'll keep your secrets. Yeah, but they they're heaving place
- 13:01happened to be well stocked and Johnny Walker Blue and uh so it was literally
- 13:07just passing a bottle around. So I don't want to come off like I
- 13:13was some kind of baller who was you know, just you know, chugging
- 13:16Blue every chance I got. But no, but that was the idea.
- 13:20Yeah, that was the idea when you did it. Yes, you're like,
- 13:24well, I don't know that I'm gonna have an opportunity to slam this
- 13:28at the time. Yeah, at the time I was like, I'm living
- 13:31right, But at the time you think I bet. Yeah, at the
- 13:37time, you think I better play it cool. I need to. I
- 13:39need to do my best to fit in so they don't look at me and
- 13:41go like, hey, what's that guy doing here. It's kind of the
- 13:46same thing with me. Last night. It's like there were people coming up
- 13:50to um this you know, group of what has now ended up being three
- 13:54famous people, and there's couple one up to U started to go up to
- 14:01one of them, and of course there's always who's always there around a famous
- 14:05person, a security guard, right yeah, and the security guard immediately this
- 14:09guy was good, Like, this guy had eyes everywhere. He knew like
- 14:13if you were to pull a phone out to try to snap a photo,
- 14:16he was like, no, no, no, no, or U if
- 14:20like this couple wanted to come up and get a photo with this famous person
- 14:22or people, and he and and he immediately swoops in betweens like no,
- 14:28no, no, sorry, not tonight, blah blah blah. But I
- 14:35too, tray, I felt it was important to, you know, play
- 14:39it cool, act like you've been there before exactly, and I have.
- 14:43We all have. And that's part of the that's part of what happens when
- 14:46you when you've been in our industry, you know, in radio for as
- 14:50long as we all have, you meet a lot of famous people. Now
- 14:52some people get really you know, tongue tied or whatever. But I think
- 14:56all of us we were always pretty, you know, pretty chill about it
- 15:00because we've been around some seriously famous people. But even even through all that,
- 15:05it's even if I see somebody out like I did last night, I
- 15:09don't feel the need to be like, oh, I hung out with blah
- 15:11blah blah blah blah. I want in reality, I didn't really hang out
- 15:13with them. I was just in the same place. Did you go over
- 15:16like kind of sliddle up next to him and be like, what's y'all drinking?
- 15:24You guys? Ever heard of pirate glass? No? No, I
- 15:28didn't. I didn't go that route. I did not. Y'all want to
- 15:33see my chickens. So it's funny you mentioned that because Tara at one point
- 15:39she's like you do you think that this one famous of one of the famous
- 15:43people that were there? She was like, do you think he'd want to
- 15:46meet his namesake? Why was one of the new chickens we got? One
- 15:50of the new chickens we got we named after one of these famous people?
- 15:54Did you name him in the last episode? Did you say which ones they
- 15:56were? Have you named him? Online? No, we haven't even finished
- 15:58naming the chickens, which, by the way, you know how I said
- 16:02before we got a six new chickens. Yeah, yeah, it's eight.
- 16:06What the f man? Have you ever heard of chicken math? No,
- 16:11Trey does. Trey knows what chicken math is. Tell him, Trey,
- 16:15Hey, just kinda glanced down. You see, oh, it looks like
- 16:18six. And then you do another count and you go, oh, wait,
- 16:21there's more. The true chicken math is and this is a real thing.
- 16:27I've now experienced it twice in my life with my wife. This most
- 16:32recent example of chicken math goes like this, Hey, this is Tara telling
- 16:36me, Hey, the chicken the chicken boat lady, she has new chicks
- 16:41that she says that that are available. So I was thinking, we get
- 16:45four of them, and I was like, okay, we're getting four chickens.
- 16:48And then when Tara comes home with the chickens, instead of four chickens,
- 16:51it's six chickens. And then when it's six chickens that were now dealing
- 16:53with, Tara says a couple of days later, hey, the chicken boat
- 16:57lady has two silkies. So it's now gonna be can can we get and
- 17:03yeah, of course, now we have no eight chickens. So that's chicken
- 17:06mouth. You start out with we're gonna get four. Next thing you know,
- 17:08you have eight. It sounds like you bought gremlins. Dan God,
- 17:15I hope not. I mean, look, they've they got wet after See,
- 17:18you're not supposed to feed them after midnight, and you're not supposed to
- 17:22ever get them wet. Right, well, I haven't fed them after midnight,
- 17:25but they have gotten wet. Crap, when I get back home,
- 17:30we may have like sixteen chickens tearing apart your TV, crapping on everything.
- 17:37By the way, did I hear them earlier in the background or was that
- 17:41island birds? No, that's an island ahole bird. We're staying. We're
- 17:45staying on Saint John right now. You didn't bring your chickens with you kind
- 17:51of travel pouch. Keep me on a little egg carton? No, but
- 17:56Tara thought about it. You're like, I'm gonna miss my chickies. Are
- 18:02you sure they're not gremlins? Maguay is the chicken boat lady? Is she
- 18:07like an old wizened Asian man in a really stereo shop? No? No,
- 18:15you know what I tell you what though, if they were to remake
- 18:17the movie now, and they'd have to, you know, make it a
- 18:18little more, you know, are a little less stereotyping. You know,
- 18:22this lady might actually fit the bill because it's a white lady who lives on
- 18:25a sixty foot boat and she's got dreads. Did you buy chickens from Captain
- 18:32Ron? It's not that funny, it is if you've seen Captain Ron.
- 18:41Okay, you're visit us online at Treehouse OnAir dot com time not a welcome
- 19:03into the Treehouse. Our friend Rodney Anderson his phone number nine seven two nine
- 19:07eight five fifty two hundred, the website good all the time, Rodney Anderson
- 19:12dot com. Now, Rodney, I know you've been in business now over
- 19:15forty years. You've seen a lot of stuff. You've done a lot of
- 19:18great stuff. And it's interesting because you'll do loans on some unique properties that
- 19:23other lenders they may not want to do. Yeah, Dan, we always
- 19:27think of people buying a houses is just a single family residence. But we've
- 19:32had several of our buyers lately by barndominiums, the finance barned dominiums where a
- 19:37lot of lenders won't touch them. We just had a client clothes on a
- 19:41double wide mobile home on five acres of land. We just have that situation
- 19:45and they paid three hundred thousand dollars for the whole thing, and we had
- 19:48them on an FH loan, able to do three and a half percent down,
- 19:52and we closed on their loan. So it's not just single family residence
- 19:56that we finance. We do barned dominiums. We do wide mobile homes on
- 20:00land. So we tell people that just pick up the phone and call us
- 20:04about your situation. The other thing we're seeing a lot of right now is
- 20:08what's called construct to perm refis and what this is where people at went out
- 20:12and did a construction loan to build a how are barneminium and now they need
- 20:18permanent financing. So now they're coming to us with their permanent financing. And
- 20:22so we see a lot of different scenarios. To ind I've seen it all.
- 20:26Whether you're looking for a VA loan in FAH a loan, whether you're
- 20:29looking at a conventional loan, pick up the phone and give us a column.

- 20:44So give it him and his team a call and you'll be very very
- 20:48glad that you did. It's nine seven two nine eight five fifty two hundred.

- 21:38That is our friends at Cook DFW Roofing and Restorations eight three three Cook DFW
- 21:44or COOKEDFW dot com. Now, something was said last the last time we
- 21:52were doing the show, and it is it's really stuck with me since then,
- 21:59and I have quits, and I think it's important that that that we
- 22:02address it. Trey, When you say you ferminated your cat, what the
- 22:08hell does that mean? You have owned cats the majority of my life and
- 22:18I don't think I've ever heard of this. You never heard of the ferminator.
- 22:26So it's it's a tool. Look, it's it's possible I have and
- 22:29I've forgotten about it because we were supposed to start doing today's show an hour
- 22:33earlier, but I forgot that we had discussed that. So, I mean,
- 22:36my my brain is not to be trusted at one hundred percent. It's
- 22:40I mean, it's just a tool you go buy at the pet store and
- 22:42it's called the ferminator, and they make him for dogs and cats, and
- 22:48it's a really good tool of if you like, I have an orange tabby
- 22:53fat cat and he sheds a lot. So oh that's Julius, Yeah,
- 22:56Julius. And so it just it gets the hair off of just about is
- 23:03the best you can that I've ever found. Let me see, So I
- 23:08just typed it into why everything always defaults to being on my computer? But
- 23:14and it doesn't. It didn't pull up any photos. But is it show
- 23:18up? Really? What the hell is that animal? It looks like a
- 23:23cross between a shit sue and a mugway. Is that one of your chickens?
- 23:29No, No, they're not old enough to need that. Is it
- 23:33the um what's it called um floby for cats or something like that. No,
- 23:41it's just it's they typically just have a handle and uh and it's like,
- 23:51oh, I see it now, I'll tell you what. Let me
- 23:52uh, Alpha, you've been trying to train me on how to do certain
- 23:56things during the show. So I'm gonna do the share the screen thing real
- 23:59quick so you can so you can see what it is he's talking about.
- 24:02All right, h click there and click there. So on the right is
- 24:11the tool. On the left is the scary thing? Yeah? What is
- 24:14that? Is it a muppet traded? You buy a muppet groomer? It
- 24:22does it actually looks? Uh? Uh? What the f is that?
- 24:29It looks like it looks like it looks like just a muppet had a baby.
- 24:34What's the damn thing from Star Trek? God? Dang it Russ with
- 24:37the furbies. Yello, me, I don't know, there's no the triples,
- 24:41the triple. Yes, it looks like a trible with an underbyte exactly.
- 24:52Anyway, Uh, that's an interesting thing to have on the ferminator website.
- 24:56Okay, So now I'm looking at the tool. Yeah, it's it
- 24:59actually looks a lot like just like a regular like shaving razor, except or
- 25:03even like a beard tremmorum. So it's got like the metal teeth and you
- 25:08just run just like a comb. I guess I've never seen this. We
- 25:12have this thing. It looks like a I don't know, it's it's it
- 25:18looks sort of like a it's got like a hoop, but it's got metal.
- 25:22It's made of metal teeth. And our dog Joel, who's like almost
- 25:26sixteen years old, he loves this thing. It's it looks like a like
- 25:29a like a medieval torture device, and he just run along his back and
- 25:33he loves the damn thing. Yeah, it's like what he used for horses.
- 25:36It's a little wire tooth brush basically. The gotcha. Okay, so
- 25:45you ferminated your cat. Okay, so what you meant was that you just
- 25:48basically gave it a haircut. Yeah yeah, most cats actually really like it
- 25:55because you know, you're they're getting brushed and it feels good. Reine however,
- 25:59yeah, mine, however not so much. Did it turn into an
- 26:03ogre muppet? Well, I've realized I have to take him on my patio
- 26:11to do it, and I have I have about thirty seconds to do it,
- 26:15and then if I press my luck, I will I will be bleeding
- 26:18by the end of it, which has to be super fun and entertaining for
- 26:22your neighbors if they happened to be walking by at that moment. Oh yeah,
- 26:26oh, I'm sure just my neighbors. You know, my little patio
- 26:29balcony. It's over our parking area, so no doubt some of them have
- 26:33heard some choice words come out of me, along with some screams and some
- 26:37gds. I'm surprised the police haven't shown up asking questions like, what are
- 26:42you doing to that cat? Sir? We've heard complaints. How old's cat?
- 26:48Oh seven eight somewhere around there. Okay, so he was a he
- 26:56was a feral cat. Well, he knows how to use what his clause?
- 27:00Oh, that's the that's one of his problems. Is pretty sure his
- 27:04mom. So I found Julius when he was probably for somewhere between four and
- 27:08six months old, and he just kind of showed up on my front door.
- 27:15But pretty sure the mom died early, and so there was never any
- 27:18training of, hey, use your clause when you're doing this, you know,
- 27:22don't when you're playing or whatever. So Julius is pretty much a clause
- 27:26out cat one percent of the time. Oh well, that's exciting. Oh
- 27:30yeah, that's uh so do you have to make sure you're you're constantly wearing
- 27:33turtlenecks so he doesn't accidentally slit your throat? You know, there's always that.
- 27:38His favorite thing though, is my achilles. That's oh, you know,
- 27:42whether I'm just walking past, he'll get under a table, just give
- 27:47it a good swipe, or if I'm climbing the stairs that's always when it's
- 27:49always fun. Then he sneaks up behind me and swipe. That achilles attack
- 27:56is one that has been made famous in horror films, like when it's you're
- 28:00going down the steps of a basement or something and the bad guy reaches up
- 28:03and slits your achilles as you're going down the steps, or in the case
- 28:07of I think it was Chucky in Child's Play. That's one of the scenes
- 28:10that's that stuck with me because I think he was under the couch or under
- 28:12somebody's bed and the feet were there, and then he takes the knife and
- 28:17he slits the achilles. Oh god. The lesson in there is don't let
- 28:22your cats watch horror movies because then they just get ideas. What other products
- 28:29does the Ferminator company have? I do not know. They have the stand,
- 28:37You have the standard ferminator? Yes they Yeah, they make a ferminator
- 28:41for dogs and a ferminator for cats. That's they make other things. Do
- 28:45they have a vacuum ferminator? Buy any chance? Go with Looby? Yeah?
- 28:49Exactly. That's see, that's what I thought it was to begin with.
- 28:52Because you hear the term ferminator, you think, okay, well it's
- 28:55got to be some sort of machine or mechanical thing. Actually it's not.
- 28:59I don't know if it's them, but I have seen commercials. Now maybe
- 29:03it's Bistle or something, but there basically is a something like that that you
- 29:08an attachment you can hook onto the end of your vacuum cleaner and do that.
- 29:14Problem is I think, Trey, you need to get one of those
- 29:15and do that on your back with the cat. I agree, It seems
- 29:18like the logical step because because you know what, animals love the soft tones
- 29:27of a vacuum cleaner. Of a vacuum cleaner, yes, say just I
- 29:30mean you turn it on, they just come and swarms. They want to
- 29:34get can't get close enough to you. The calming vibrations. I mean,
- 29:41the cat's a feral cat, so he could he could you know, it
- 29:45might remind him of his childhood days or his cat kiddihood days, where like
- 29:51when he got swept into a gutter by a street sweeper. Yes, the
- 29:56problem. I'm pretty sure Julius ended up up on by front porch just out
- 30:00of necessity, because otherwise he wouldn't have survived. I'm quite sure he could
- 30:04not kill anything other than my ankles. And uh yeah. But now if
- 30:11I were to try to use some vacuum cleaner attachment on him, I would
- 30:14have to go in there looking like, you know, the bomb detection guy
- 30:18out of a movie, because I would, you know, come back with
- 30:22nothing but a bloody nub. I think, I really think you need to
- 30:27do this, and obviously you need to record it, record it. Yeah,
- 30:30am I dreaming up this contraption where it's almost like a cat wash or
- 30:37like a dog wash, Like it's it's a what's the word I'm looking for,
- 30:42a almost like a dome that you put on top of your animal and
- 30:48it just vacuums them and brushes them. It's like a vacuum but for your
- 30:52dog, but they're trapped under the dome. Yeah, it's a dry It's
- 30:56a dryer, I think, is what you're thinking about? Is that what
- 31:00it is? Yea? Is it like one of those old lady hair slom
- 31:03dryers kind of like that, but it actually the entire dog or a cat.
- 31:06Yeah, it's like think about like a pac man with a cutout of
- 31:10for their head or like the stocks and so yeah, you just put them
- 31:12inside there and it drives them. You guys realize the two of you were
- 31:17describing torture devices, well a mental image of what it looks like. But
- 31:27it does look if you were just to look at it, it does look
- 31:30like a torture device. It's pretty bad though. It like if if it's
- 31:33you decide it all right, it's it's grooming day and you done all black?
- 31:37And you put a black mask over your face and you start walking towards
- 31:41Julius the cat, and like it's time. Anything to help you groom your
- 31:48your loved one, your fur baby without incurring too much blood loss. I'm
- 31:55down for. And it sounds like the whole like trap your animal in this
- 31:59thing and it'll get them dry without you dying. Sound yeah it The problem
- 32:06is getting them in there. But once you do, it's part of part
- 32:10of the line of amazing products from ron Pool Peel that is the two point
- 32:15zero and set it and forget it. And apparently, Trey, you've been
- 32:20on like a cat kick lately. It seems because the alphie. Did you
- 32:23see what he sent the other day? It was some guys stabbing his roommate
- 32:28over a cat. No, what where did I put that? Hang on,
- 32:35let me stop sharing my screen here. Uh yeah, Tray, you
- 32:40you sent the story to what the hell happened? Uh? Well, if
- 32:50it's the one I'm thinking about, Um, it's a great story, Trey,
- 32:54Oh it's not. It was um he was wearing a cat costume when
- 32:59he tried to murder his roommate. Really yeah, Okay, now I'm interested.
- 33:05Okay, I found it. A man wearing cat costumes stabbed a roommate
- 33:07in the neck. A man is charged with attempted murder after a Lachua County
- 33:17Sheriff's deputy say he stabbed his roommate in the neck while dressed as a feenline.
- 33:22Oh what a shock. It's Florida. Well of course, oh,
- 33:28Alphie, there's there's a there's a audio video on this. I think I
- 33:30got it, Uh twenty ABC, I believe, so, all right,
- 33:38this is it. Gainesville's facing attempted murder charges after deputy say he stabbed his
- 33:45roommate while he was wearing a cat costume. Latchua County Sheriff's deputy say thirty
- 33:51two year old Omar Gutierrez walked up behind his roommate yesterday wearing the costume and
- 33:55stabbed him in the neck. Take a look at some of the body camp
- 33:59video walk out held on What the f what is that cat costume? I
- 34:07mean, yeah, he looks a little bit like the mouse from Chucky Cheese.
- 34:09Yeah, it's kind of squirreling. Literally, what the hell? The
- 34:16guy's mug shot looks like somebody who would be accused of stabbing somebody while wearing
- 34:22a cat costume. This guy actually looks like the the unfortunate, looking like
- 34:29the lesser looking brother of the guy that handed me the tequila. Sorry,
- 34:37said again, the guy that handed me the tequila shot. Yeah, this
- 34:40this guy who was dressed as a cat that stabbed his roommate in the neck.
- 34:44Looking at his mug shot, he looks like the the bad looking brother
- 34:50of the guy that gave me the shot at tequila last night. Like you
- 34:53know how like in a family there's like one good looking sibling and the other
- 34:57one's like like they didn't they didn't say any for the next kid. That's
- 35:00what this guy looks like. I must know the outcome of the story.
- 35:08He's charge of the tempted murder him in the neck. Take a look at
- 35:12some of the body camp video on welco out come on out. I'm sorry
- 35:20man, I always told detectives that Gutierra said he wasn't above killing him.
- 35:23He received a three inch stab wound in the back of his neck. Gutierra's
- 35:28claims his roommate hurt his cat with a roommate denies that. Ever, What
- 35:34the hell, man, how is it that we have so many friends in
- 35:38law enforcement? But none of them ever, and a lot of them claimed
- 35:42to say, you know, the like at least at one point in their
- 35:44lives, are like they wanted to become a police officer and they like the
- 35:46part of the job that you know, has like some action, you know,
- 35:50aspects to it. How the how did those guys not immediately just go
- 35:53to Florida to sign up to be cops? Because it's got to be like,
- 35:55look at this. How do you go home to your family as a
- 35:59cop up and go like, well, today was weird. This is the
- 36:01training ground, this is like the special forces of law enforcement. Yeah,
- 36:07it's like anything we can think about you. I think if you work in
- 36:13Florida law enforcement and you go home and say, today was weird. Man,
- 36:16you had some bad crap go down. Yeah. You had a guy
- 36:22smoking basalts and a raccoon costume, running a muck slashing achilles. Yeah,
- 36:30yeah, I made at this point it was sort of like U like the
- 36:34show Cops that ran for years. Now, imagine if they redid it,
- 36:37but it was Florida Cops. Man, that's gonna get everybody's attention, don't
- 36:40they have that? Isn't that a thing? Like the live PD or.
- 36:46Yes, there is a show, but it's not just Florida, and that
- 36:51is a damn good idea though for a show. I mean, why send
- 36:53people all around the country. You could just stick cruise with Florida law enforcement
- 37:00and you would have content for years, yeah, for four years. In
- 37:08the story, it actually says the actual the print version of this. According
- 37:13to the arrest report, the victim was in his room when Omar walked up
- 37:16behind him wearing a cat costume, then plunged a knife into the back of
- 37:19his roommate's neck. The victim then asked Omar, why did you stab me,
- 37:24and Gutierrez, keeping keeping in mind Omar is wearing a cat costume,
- 37:29simply said it was instinctual. Oh my god. So he actually became the
- 37:35cat, which is probably what would happen if you know Trays cat Julius ever
- 37:39grows thumbs. Trace couldn't end up with a cat with a knife Trays and
- 37:45ended up dead. M This is uh, this is what reality looks like
- 37:55in comic book form, you know what I mean? Like, in this
- 37:58guy's mind, he's thinking, I'm gonna be Batman. I'm going to avenge
- 38:02the bats and dress up like a bat and stab this guy because I'm the
- 38:07hero here. Just change bat for cat, and all of a sudden,
- 38:10in this guy's mind, he is the hero. He is absolutely the superhero.
- 38:17Where's Mike Garfield Country Outfit? You're listening to the Treehouse Visit goes online?
- 38:25A Treehouse on air dot com on your movie, Cody, Let's welcome
- 38:42in Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing. Their phone number is two one four three six
- 38:45eight thirty eight thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbing, Texas dot com.
- 38:49Jacqueline, Obviously, you're female, and you have a lot of experience as
- 38:53a female, not just a female business owner, but as a female homeowner
- 38:57with what it can be like for a woman to call it contractor to come
- 39:00to their home and what can transpire. So, Dan, when I was
- 39:04twenty seven years old, I bought my first house. I was lucky enough
- 39:07to buy this little and tiny, distressed investment property, and I was calling
- 39:10general contractors for bids for repair, and they were extremely inflated. And I
- 39:16knew they were inflated because I had been in plumbing for a couple of years
- 39:19at that point in time. And finally I got so frustrated called the last
- 39:23contractor and said, hey, I'm a girl and i'm young, Please come
- 39:27and bid my house based on my house, not on my age, not
- 39:30on my gender. And he showed up. And I'm not lying when I
- 39:32tell you that his quote was twenty four thousand dollars less than everybody else,
- 39:36and we went to work together. And so I know what it's like to
- 39:40meet with a contractor and feel like somebody's taking advantage of you. I don't
- 39:45know if it was my age or my gender, maybe a combination of the
- 39:47two, but in my office, we don't do that. I've even had
- 39:52in my own primary home contractors come and tell me that they won't meet with
- 39:54me unless the man of the house is home, because he's the decision maker.
- 40:00I never made that appointment. I told them to get f I don't
- 40:01want to work with you. That's ridiculous. And I found somebody else.
- 40:06And so I want anybody that calls my office male, female, purple green,
- 40:09aliens, cowboys. I don't care to feel that we're going to treat
- 40:14them the right way and that we're going to be an advocate for them.
- 40:15And I have just last week bullied two other contractors into treating two women correctly.
- 40:21I am not above stepping in on your behalf and being an advocate for
- 40:25you, even if you just want me to look at a bid and tell
- 40:29you if you think it, if I think it's reasonable or not. Even
- 40:30if it's not plumbing, I'll tell you if it's hyperinflated, email it to
- 40:34me. I'm on the team. That's it. See that right there,
- 40:37It tells you it's more than just pipes. Because Brooks Plumbing wants to make
- 40:39sure you are treated right, So give them a call. That's why we
- 40:44recommend them to you. Two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight.
- 40:46That's two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. Or of
- 40:50course that website Rooks Plumbing Texas dot com. It's this treehouse time, not
- 41:00a welcome into the treehouse. Daniel Cook of Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration their
- 41:06phone number eight three three Cook DFW, the website cookdfw dot com. Now
- 41:12you are not an ordinary roofing company. Yes you will repair a roof,
- 41:15Yes you will replace a roof if necessary. But let's say a situation happens
- 41:21where someone has to replace the entire roof water's gotten into the home and damage
- 41:24the interior. While you'll come in and fix that roof, that's not where
- 41:29it ends, is it. No, not at all, Dan. Usually
- 41:31the claims and the size of the projects that we have been accustomed too lately
- 41:37are very large and complex. So, just like you mentioned in particular claims,
- 41:42there's going to be interior damage, and a lot of companies out there
- 41:45are not able to satisfy the needs of that client for the inside. So
- 41:49then the client gets stuck in the middle of trying to work, take care
- 41:52of their kids, get their kids to Skoker practice, and then they're trying
- 41:54to be a general contractor on the side, trying to find people that they
- 41:59can up on the phone or look up online to fix their inside. And
- 42:02the inside damage is much more, much more complex than a roof, and
- 42:07so a lot of contractors that's why they don't do the inside because they don't
- 42:10want to be responsible for the for the fine touches and making sure everything looks
- 42:15crisp and the amount of wood that got replaced was the right kind and the
- 42:20flooring got done correctly, and there's no mold, there's no water leftover to
- 42:23cause problems to your health or your family and so inside repairs or no joke.
- 42:28And that's what separates our company from a lot of the competition is that
- 42:30we do on a complete claim from start to finish, so you and your
- 42:35family can do what you need to do and let us do the rest,
- 42:38which I really wish I knew about you guys a few years ago during the
- 42:43massive ice storm, because our house had damage on the inside and I did
- 42:47not enjoy having to general contract stuff having to go between three different companies.
- 42:52The idea of having a major problem and only having to call one company is
- 42:59massive phone number. You'll need to call cook DFW at some point you're going
- 43:02to need it. It is eight three three cook DFW. That's eight three
- 43:06three Cook DFW or the website cook dfw dot com, fire dot Hey everyone,
- 43:17it's Alfie KOI. I wanted to take a moment and fill you guys
- 43:21in on an important update. This will be my final show in the Treehouse.
- 43:28With everything going on in my life, I found that I just don't
- 43:30have the time or the creative energy to commit to the show that both it
- 43:35and you, as the listener deserve. What started out as a fun and
- 43:39goofy way for us to screw around each week has quickly grown into a full
- 43:45fledged iteration of our radio show just on the internet. And when you're working
- 43:52two other freelance jobs that require full time attention, you'll find that it's damn
- 43:58near impossible to spend that many places at once. Something had to give,
- 44:02you know, even though I won't be a part of it, I am
- 44:06proud of the house that we built. It's weathered many a storm but still
- 44:12continues on. It goes without saying that I want Dan and Tray to succeed.
- 44:17They have decades of combined experience in broadcasting, and I'm absolutely confident in
- 44:23their ability to put out a show that's far better quality than all the other
- 44:29content that's out there. So do them a favor and do like Dan says,
- 44:36Tell a friend about the podcast, let them know how much you enjoy
- 44:38hanging out with your buddies, and for God's sake, spend some money with
- 44:43the folks that sponsor the show. Get yourself a new roof from cook DFW.
- 44:47Fix that leaky faucet that you've been putting off for years by calling Brooks
- 44:52Plumbing. And you already know that you should call Rodney Anderson if you're buying
- 44:55a home or if you want to look into refinancing. These are the people
- 45:00that support the show that you love. You should support them as much as
- 45:04you can. Rest assured that this will not be the last time you hear
- 45:09from me. I'm sure I'll pop up in your feed every now and again.
- 45:14Just keep your ear to the ground. To paraphrase something that an old
- 45:19buddy once said, please don't think of me as having left. Think of
- 45:22me as having fallen out of the treehouse and died. Thanks and godspeed.
- 45:32You're in the treehouse. Visit us online at treehouse OnAir dot com. So
- 45:39let me get this straight. You don't have time to do the show anymore,
- 45:43but you had time to record that long ass good by speech that was
- 45:45at two thirty in the morning, and I was drunk leave me alone.
- 45:51You know what that is. That's an audition for one of your voiceover gigs.
- 45:54You're like, look, this is maybe drunk in perfect tone. Look
- 45:59at my wonderful addiction. Why I am drunk? That's a cop out so
- 46:04we wouldn't make him cry. That's true. No, what he did is
- 46:07he tried the old reversal. He tried to he tried to say a bunch
- 46:09of nice things that that he thought would make us cry. So Alfie,
- 46:25you were never in the military, Nope, never, but you are damn
- 46:29good at throwing grenades, dropping bombs, shooting rockets into the treehouse. Because
- 46:40the other day when when you dropped this on us, and that's really what
- 46:45it what it what it felt like? Uh yeah, because we were we
- 46:47were we had just finished recording an episode. We had just finished recording the
- 46:52previous episode of the show, and uh we were about to, you know,
- 46:57start up on the next one. And you're like, oh, hey,
- 46:59real, by the way, I quit. That's not what I said.
- 47:02Well it's not. It's not what you said. But it was a
- 47:05short version of it. What it did? It did? It seem inaccurate
- 47:07my depiction of a tree. No. No, we've been together many many
- 47:13years. By I'm not saying I'm never talking to you all again. I'm
- 47:16just saying things when it was the last time you called me just to talk.
- 47:22Um, yeah, hold on, I'm thinking, Um, I don't
- 47:30know if you can hear it, but he's slowly backing towards the door.
- 47:36Um, I'm thinking I'm thinking, Dan dor gonna be a while. I'm
- 47:40thinking, give me a second, get back over here. Uh And he
- 47:51fell out of the tree house and died the Uh so, so what happened
- 47:55after you? You you told us You're like, you know, I've got
- 47:59I've got We've got some crumby news. I'm stretched too thin, I'm too
- 48:05busy, which to me, if I'm being honest with the Alphie, it's
- 48:10really it just kind of boils down to because we can move recording times around,
- 48:15we can all, you know, we can make it work. I
- 48:17think it just kind of boils down to you just don't want to do it
- 48:20anymore. Is that accurate? Uh? Yes, No, So it's just
- 48:29it's then't say that because to me, would you say, well, I
- 48:30don't really have time. It's like, well, I mean if you want
- 48:32to do something, whatever it is, then you'll make time for like going
- 48:37to the gym or cooking dinner or you know whatever. It's. Um,
- 48:43it's more than that, dude, I mean, it's if it was just
- 48:45I don't want to do it, then well, first of all, you
- 48:47know why I commit to it in the first place. But secondly, it's
- 48:52the show's constantly changing and constantly evolving, and you know more than I guess,
- 48:59y'all two, no more than anyone else about the growth at the show
- 49:00is undergoing, and it is getting more and more and more of an undertaking
- 49:07every week. And the other things that I'm doing in life, what with
- 49:13the photography work, with the voice acting work, that takes up so so
- 49:17much of my time, and I cannot stress how much of my time it
- 49:22takes up. I am constantly constantly working. I have my laptop with me
- 49:27every time anywhere I go somewhere. I'm constantly god, you know, just
- 49:31creating content, trying to output at the next thing, just working on the
- 49:37next audition, the next demo reel. And it's just such a what's the
- 49:45damn Greek myth of the guy pushing the rock up the hill sysiphus or whatever.
- 49:51Yeah, that's what it feels like. It just feels like it's a
- 49:52constant struggle getting all that done. And at the end of the day,
- 49:57what I'm left with is nothing for y'all. And that's not fair. That's
- 50:01not fair to you guys, that's not fair to the listeners. And like
- 50:07I said, this is not you know, screw you guys forever bye.
- 50:10I'll still help out from time to time. Do you guys need me to
- 50:15record something, let me know. If you guys need me to produce something,
- 50:19let me know. I'll probably say no. But still it's nice to
- 50:23charge us or charge you, but it's it's just too much to handle all
- 50:30at once, I will say part of the I'm not sure if you thought
- 50:37about what tyler let me let me let me put it this way. Did
- 50:43you think before you told us the other day that that this episode was going
- 50:47to be your last episode? Did you think about what our reactions might be.
- 50:52Did you think about like, were you worried about it? Did you
- 50:53or did you think about it at all? Of course you always do that
- 50:57sort of thing. There's no good way to come out with something like that,
- 51:00there's no good way to to soften any blow like that. But ultimately
- 51:07you just got to kind of rip the band aid off. And I want
- 51:09you guys to know it's not you. You did, but you didn't even
- 51:13say I'm gonna rip the band aid off. You'd just rip that effort off.
- 51:15Yeah. Again, it's not you, it's me. We didn't even
- 51:19know we were cut. Yeah, exactly it's like, it's like he's you
- 51:22know what it is. It's he's like your cat Trey. He cut us
- 51:24and put a band aid on than ripped that off, all in the same
- 51:28motion. I will say this. I want, I want to give you
- 51:32my honest reaction to it, because after you told us, after you told
- 51:36us the other day, I needed five minutes to try to process it and
- 51:39think about it. And then we all got back together after a few minutes
- 51:43and I said, you know, I just give me a couple of days.
- 51:45I need to think through this. I need to figure some stuff out.
- 51:49And in processing news of that magnitude, I wondered, do you think
- 51:57it's as big of a thing as I do? Because what the answers,
- 52:04No, I think if you don't see, you don't see leaving the show
- 52:07as major as a major event as much as I do. Yes, correct,
- 52:12because that's that's what I'm saying. The show's never been about one person.
- 52:16The show's never ever been about you know. Well, I took that
- 52:23back. The show at times has been very much centered around one person,
- 52:28but its inner workings have been far more than that. And all the all
- 52:32the behind the scenes stuff for the entirety of this show has always been a
- 52:37team effort, even if at times it was only one person that got all
- 52:39the attention and the credit, it was very much all of us working for
- 52:45that goal. And then over time it morphed into the behind the scenes teamwork
- 52:52aspect coming to the forefront, and listeners listen to it and heard the change
- 52:58and understood what was happening. Other co workers listen to it and heard the
- 53:02change and understood what was happening. They saw the fruits of our labor being
- 53:07put out there. Management certainly didn't, but that's not the point here.
- 53:10The point is is the show has always been heartier and stronger and more resilient
- 53:17than one person. So me leaving is just not that you're gonna be fine.
- 53:23I hate, I hate to say it in those terms, but I
- 53:28don't see it as being a hindrance to you. Guys. I will not
- 53:34to sound like a dick, but I will actually agree with you there all
- 53:43in all seriousness, I will I will agree with you. And here's and
- 53:46here's my reasoning. Like you said, the show has always gone on and
- 53:51and this show will continue to go on, and I would be I would
- 53:53be ff and pissed if it didn't like I would be annoyed and angry,
- 54:00uh not at me, at you, uh if it didn't continue, because,
- 54:06like I said, the show has has weathered so many storms, and
- 54:09Albie sat back and thought, what's one more thing I can throw at the
- 54:14middle of their of their breakfast back. Not that this is not a storm,
- 54:19This is a summer shower, an island summer shower. Dan, the
- 54:24show has been through f and hurricane after hurricane after hurricane. Yeah, and
- 54:30and and you are right, the show will go on. Try and I
- 54:32are going to persevere. We're going to keep doing this because we love it
- 54:37and because we're trying to build it into something that will actually, you know,
- 54:40you know, take the place of real jobs. And I'm disappointed that
- 54:46you're not going to be there along for that ride. Um. And my
- 54:54thing was when you when you mentioned it, was I wondered, did you
- 55:00see our relationship as less than it is, less than how I view it?
- 55:06Because to me, the way the way you told us and in the
- 55:12time that you're you're basically giving us from when you're done. I looked back
- 55:17over what sixteen seventeen years of of when you and I have started working together.
- 55:23When when when you are an intern on the midday show at at CBS
- 55:28Radio and then you're like, hey, I want to do another internship,
- 55:31but I don't want to do it with that show. Can I do it
- 55:32with you? Dan? And I was like, I was, yeah,
- 55:36that'd be great, buying you your first drink when you turn twenty one,
- 55:43all the way up through everything thing that we have been through in that time
- 55:46frame, and then now it just seems so sudden. You're just it was
- 55:51almost like, hey, we've been together for a long time and blah blah
- 55:52blah blah blah. Bye. Do you think that like I'm changing my phone
- 55:57number? No, I don't think that at all. It's just I'm just
- 56:01telling you. That was my reaction to it, and that was the way
- 56:05that I was taking it, and I was one And it might be partly
- 56:07on myself because I have a tendency to put my expectations on others, which
- 56:13is unfair to those people. And I would have done it in a slightly
- 56:17different way, but at the end of the day, the way. At
- 56:23the end of the day, it's the result that matters. You're not gonna
- 56:25be on the show, anymore. And and that's you know, we're just
- 56:29gonna, you know, have to move on. I would something less.
- 56:32No, I understand it hurts too. Yeah, just because the show's been
- 56:37through a lot of hurricanes doesn't mean we go and strap ourselves to a street
- 56:40sign, you know, the keys during hurricane season. More. Dan lives
- 56:47on an island prone to hurricanes, but he's not strapping himself to a sign
- 56:53right by the beach. That's right. I'm up on a hill. Yeah,
- 57:00just like the treehouse up on a hill, an example for others to
- 57:05look at and try and copy and fail miserably at m And that's especially what
- 57:10the ratings keep saying. At the end of the day, you're at the
- 57:20end of the day. At the end of the day, you're going to
- 57:21be missed then, and not only by me, but obviously you know the
- 57:30listeners are going to miss hearing you as well. And let me take a
- 57:34quick handful of the curtain and pull it back a little bit. It's not
- 57:37like we never do that. We do that quite a bit. But I
- 57:39want to shine a small light on something that I don't know if a lot
- 57:44of people have truly paid attention to over the years, and I like to
- 57:47make sure people, you know, get the spotlight when it's deserved. Some
- 57:53of the funniest things that you have heard on this show since two thy ten
- 58:00were written by Alphie. Some of the most iconic things and in that last
- 58:07thirteen years that you've heard were written by Alphie. I might have had like
- 58:15a little bit of input here and there, because we all worked together on
- 58:17so many things. Trey had input on things when he was on the radio
- 58:22show. The other guys did as well. But for the most part,
- 58:28some of the funniest stuff that was written on this show was written by Alphie.
- 58:31All those specials, those were written by Alphie and produced Andrew. I
- 58:38produced a couple of them. I put sound effects in a couple of them,
- 58:44Lay produced and directed. All right, fine, Alphie producing, directed
- 58:46and wrote some of those. Thanks he's also selfish as hell. Real was
- 58:57an interesting day when when when Alphie when alf He came to the radio station
- 59:00straight from therapy and arms widespread and said, today I learned I'm a narcissist.
- 59:07Deal with it. And just for the record, if you ever go
- 59:13back and listen to those really old shows and you find anything that's questionable,
- 59:16you know, and you really right now really wouldn't sit well. Alphie wrote
- 59:21it. That was that Trey handed it to me. I've wrote it on
- 59:23paper. Trey handed it to me and said, I need you to type
- 59:27this out. I've been looking for his escapegoat for years. Oh man,
- 59:35it turns out the only way you get out of the treehouse is if you
- 59:37get killed, fall and die. Thanks, guys, appreciate it. I
- 59:44love about you, but I felt a lot like a Viking funerals treehouse at
- 59:50Treehouse on air for me at the Dan O'Malley, and for Alfie at Alfie
- 59:53Koi. And don't forget to light follow, subscribe, auto download and tell
- 59:58a friend the treehouse is back. Do it and and and real quick.
- 1:00:01Alphie, I love you and I'll miss you and we'll always have your back.
- 1:00:08Thank you for everything, Alphie. You are a wonderful person and wonderful
- 1:00:13talent. Thank you, guys, love you, Love you too,
