  Speaker 1: three hours, and I would watching some of these SmackDown shows.

  Speaker 1: We had a brutal first hour and actually a little

  Speaker 1: the show tonight, and I am watching this going it

  Speaker 1: can't possibly get any worse. I mean, the show can

  Speaker 1: match coming up and not US Championship match tonight between

  Speaker 1: Sammy's Ain and carmel O Hayes. That was great. So

  Speaker 1: the show did get better because of that one match.

  Speaker 1: And they went out there and they look, I mean,

  Speaker 1: they tore it up. They had a great outing. They've

  Speaker 1: worked together before, so we know what those two men

  Speaker 1: can do in the ring together, and in fact, in

  Speaker 1: that matcham as well mention it. Now we have a

  Speaker 1: brand new United States Champion. And there are two ways

  Speaker 1: to look at this. On the one hand, they have

  Speaker 1: been telling a story with Sammy's ain. This is the

  Speaker 1: next kind of step in the story. Sammy's match for

  Speaker 1: WrestleMania now is solidified, and we'll talk about carmel O

  Speaker 1: Hayes and whether or not he may or may not

  Speaker 1: be involved in that. So because I'm very torn on

  Speaker 1: the outcome of that match, but I can't hate on

  Speaker 1: that match, but I can honestly say that outside of

  Speaker 1: that US title match, SmackDown was a shit show tonight.

  Speaker 1: SmackDown was a shit show tonight with the absolute lamest,

  Speaker 1: longest and in many ways heatless, pull apart brawls that

  Speaker 1: you will ever see, certainly the longest one that I

  Speaker 1: have seen in ages that show closing brawl with Randy

  Speaker 1: Orton and Cody Rhodes. I put in the title of
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: the video here, it took five business days. It just

  Speaker 1: kept going and going and going, and the fans weren't
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: even really like there were uncomfortable periods of just silence
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: as the two men in one of the WrestleMania main
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: events are out there acting as if they hate each
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: other's guts and they're trying to get at each other,
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: and it's it's again, it's the same trope we see

  Speaker 1: with WWE pull apart brawls all the time, and I
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: think because the formula never changes, when you get one
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: like this that isn't that good at all. It really
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: stands out more where you have the general manager come
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: out and he's waving out all of these referees and
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: all of these producers and all of these security guards
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: and they're all coming out, and you've got ten fifteen
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: fucking people out there, and they are unable to maintain
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: law and order and they're getting thrown around, and you
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: get there pulled apart in each corner of the ring.

  Speaker 1: Somebody breaks free, they jump onto the other person, then

  Speaker 1: they get separated again, then the other person breaks free

  Speaker 1: and then they jump on them in the corner. Right.

  Speaker 1: They have their formula all the time. They all look

  Speaker 1: the same. This was different in that people didn't really

  Speaker 1: seem to care. And the other thing also is like,

  Speaker 1: I'm watching this and Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes was bloodied

  Speaker 1: up by this man. He was betrayed and bloodied by
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: his brother, okay, by one of his best friends in

  Speaker 1: the business, left for dead a couple of weeks ago

  Speaker 1: on SmackDown. This was the first time that we have

  Speaker 1: seen Cody Rhodes back on this show since that heinous attack.

  Speaker 1: And I mean, honestly, I don't know what was going

  Speaker 1: on here. He comes out there with about as much

  Speaker 1: intensity as a corpse, and they're just like, it's like lifeless.

  Speaker 1: They're just rowing shots at each other and they're pulling

  Speaker 1: them away. There's there's there's just no real urgency there.

  Speaker 1: There's no sense of like, Okay, they're trying to convince

  Speaker 1: us that they want to get at each other in

  Speaker 1: the worst way. They're just going through the motions. That's

  Speaker 1: all I could That's all I could think as I'm

  Speaker 1: watching this. They're just going through the motions and Honestly,

  Speaker 1: I will say watching that segment, it felt like maybe

  Speaker 1: they came up short on time and they had to

  Speaker 1: got to keep this going for a little bit longer

  Speaker 1: before Jelly Roll finally came out, like they were stalling

  Speaker 1: the hour. That's what it felt like to me. Although

  Speaker 1: I don't know, usually they time these shows out perfectly.

  Speaker 1: I don't know if something ran short. I'm trying to

  Speaker 1: come up with a a decent explanation for why this

  Speaker 1: was so bad. But jelly Roll comes out and he's

  Speaker 1: trying to keep the peace because he loves he loves

  Speaker 1: Cody Rhodes, and he loves Randy Orton, right, Randy's his boy,

  Speaker 1: And you could see where this was going. And Randy

  Speaker 1: Orton again breaks free and he drops Jelly Roll with

  Speaker 1: an RKO. And as soon as he drops Jelly Roll

  Speaker 1: with an RKO, the crowd breaks out at the chance

  Speaker 1: of Randy Randy Randy and I just sat here laughing,

  Speaker 1: and I don't even think, not that I don't think.

  Speaker 1: I know that was not WWE's intent. WWE is not

  Speaker 1: booking this main event WrestleMania Maine event no less feud

  Speaker 1: they're trying to make it funny. But I thought this

  Speaker 1: shit was fucking hilarious in the worst possible way, because

  Speaker 1: Tiffany Stratton and Julia out there and they didn't have
