America Carrillo, a muralist from Indiana, is painting a massive 70x15-foot tribute to “America through the ages” for a local business celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday — and she’s making it a community project by inviting veterans to paint “paint-by-number” sections. One Vietnam vet, Bob Holzinger, surprised himself by spending hours painting an eagle after his wife convinced him to join.
