- 0:53Speaker 2: Welcome to our radio archive featured show, here on the
- 0:57Speaker 2: world-famous Phil Hendry Show, Hall of Fame radio show, and
- 1:00Speaker 2: our website, philhendryshow.com. This is an interesting hour because we
- 1:04Speaker 2: may have played this one already. It's Bobby Dooley getting
- 1:06Speaker 2: into a hair-pulling contest right before Y2K.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Now, Y2K, a lot of you guys.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Are now into your young adult years, and you were
- 1:13Speaker 2: not really old enough to remember Y2K. It was a
- 1:15Speaker 2: big much-to-do-about-nothing. In fact, I had a friend working in the,
- 1:19Speaker 2: my best friend Don, in fact, worked in the banking
- 1:21Speaker 2: business in those days, and he explained to me, For
- 1:23Speaker 2: like two years preceding Y2K, they'd been working on making
- 1:26Speaker 2: sure that the computers all were able to, you know,
- 1:29Speaker 2: click over to the year 2000 as opposed to going
- 1:31Speaker 2: back to 1900. But the fear was that the computers
- 1:34Speaker 2: wouldn't work, that, by God, the nuclear missiles would explode,
- 1:38Speaker 2: that their prisons would release all of their inmates.
- 1:41Speaker 1: It was pretty interesting.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Bobby goes to a store to get bottled water, because
- 1:45Speaker 2: you've got to have that every time there's an emergency.
- 1:47Speaker 2: And they said, you're limited to this much. And she said, no,
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm not. And she got into a hair-pulling contest with
- 1:52Speaker 2: the manager of the store. And then she said that
- 1:54Speaker 2: she and her sons and her husband were the kind
- 1:58Speaker 2: of people that needed to be alive because they had
- 1:59Speaker 2: to repopulate the earth following the radiation that would turn
- 2:05Speaker 2: the rest of us into hairless ghouls going door to door.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Okay, now you got it. Here's Bobby.
- 2:13Speaker 3: We have a news story here. There was interesting because Y2K,
- 2:17Speaker 3: you know, the new year is approaching. And at least
- 2:21Speaker 3: one incident took place recently. Here in Southern California today,
- 2:26Speaker 3: involving someone who we are familiar with, the president of
- 2:29Speaker 3: the Western Estates Parent Teachers Organization, Mrs.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Stephen Dooley.
- 2:33Speaker 3: She was involved in what was described by onlookers as
- 2:37Speaker 3: a hair-pulling incident with Colleen Brandt, an assistant manager at
- 2:42Speaker 3: a local major club store. Now, you know what I
- 2:46Speaker 3: mean by a club store. These are the places you
- 2:47Speaker 3: become a member, you go in, you buy stuff there.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Colleen Brandt is an assistant manager at this store.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Mrs.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Dooley was a customer in the store, and apparently they
- 3:00Speaker 3: got into a hair-pulling tussle, which wound up with Mrs.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Dooley being pulled off of the assistant manager of the store.
- 3:10Speaker 3: So this was a violent incident. We have Bobby Dooley
- 3:14Speaker 3: on the phone with us tonight from Western Estates.
- 3:17Speaker 4: And, Ms.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Dooley, good evening.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Good evening, Phil.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Embarrassing for you?
- 3:22Speaker 5: No, not at all. I'm a mother standing up for
- 3:25Speaker 5: her family.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Tell me what happened.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Well, Phil, this was escalated by the store itself and
- 3:32Speaker 5: by store personnel. I was in this store. I've been
- 3:37Speaker 5: told not to mention the name of it, and I won't.
- 3:40Speaker 5: But we were in the store today purchasing some provisions.
- 3:44Speaker 5: There is something called Y2K, which is approaching. We were
- 3:48Speaker 5: getting some bottled water. We had one case of two-gallon jugs. Actually,
- 3:56Speaker 5: we had two cases of the two-gallon jugs of bottled water.
- 4:01Speaker 5: They told us that they were limiting the sale of
- 4:05Speaker 5: the two-gallon jugs to one case. Now, I need to
- 4:09Speaker 5: explain something to you before we get a little bit
- 4:11Speaker 5: further into this story. I have three boys. I have
- 4:16Speaker 5: a husband. We use a lot of water. We obviously
- 4:22Speaker 5: would use it for cooking, for bathing, for drinking. We
- 4:25Speaker 5: do drink an awful lot of water. And we are
- 4:28Speaker 5: mindful of what our country possibly will go through on
- 4:32Speaker 5: January 1st if the Y2K so-called millennium bug is as
- 4:38Speaker 5: serious as many people say that it will be. My
- 4:43Speaker 5: husband believes that it's important for us to stock up.
- 4:47Speaker 5: That's what we were doing. My husband also believes that
- 4:50Speaker 5: it's important for people like us to survive should there
- 4:54Speaker 5: be something serious that happens to our country and that
- 4:58Speaker 5: our sons need to survive because, God forbid, and I
- 5:02Speaker 5: say this, Phil, in a worst-case scenario, but if we
- 5:05Speaker 5: needed to repopulate for whatever reason, I think we need
- 5:11Speaker 5: reliable and dependable people and we need responsible people to
- 5:15Speaker 5: repopulate with. And we do consider ourselves to be in
- 5:21Speaker 5: that category.
- 5:23Speaker 3: What does all of this have to do with you
- 5:26Speaker 3: taking more water than the store wanted you to take?
- 5:28Speaker 5: I explained to this woman that you're mentioning.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Colleen Branch, she's an assistant manager?
- 5:35Speaker 6: Yes.
- 5:35Speaker 5: She had no time to even have the common courtesy
- 5:39Speaker 5: to introduce herself. I explained to her that I was
- 5:43Speaker 5: purchasing water for my husband and for my sons. I
- 5:46Speaker 5: had two cases of the two-gallon jugs of water. She
- 5:50Speaker 5: said they were limiting it to one case. I said,
- 5:54Speaker 5: I understand that you need to limit this for the
- 5:58Speaker 5: other customers, but I have three sons. I have a husband.
- 6:03Speaker 5: My sons attend Western Estates Middle School. I have a
- 6:06Speaker 5: younger son who attends Western Estates Elementary School. My husband
- 6:12Speaker 5: has a very successful landscaping business. We are prominent members
- 6:16Speaker 5: of the community, and I will be purchasing two cases.
- 6:21Speaker 5: My husband believes that that was the proper thing to
- 6:25Speaker 5: say to her. At that time, she said, again, we
- 6:29Speaker 5: are only selling one case of the two-gallon jugs. I said, well,
- 6:34Speaker 5: I am not removing that, and that's when she went
- 6:36Speaker 5: to remove it.
- 6:37Speaker 3: So the store assistant manager... went to take the extra
- 6:41Speaker 3: case of water out of your cart?
- 6:42Speaker 5: Yes, she did.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And that's when you grabbed her hair?
- 6:46Speaker 5: I simply grabbed the back of her hair to pull
- 6:49Speaker 5: her away from the cart. That's when she reached over
- 6:52Speaker 5: and grabbed my hair. And we essentially went toe-to-toe. You
- 6:58Speaker 5: have to understand something, Phil. I'm a mother, and I
- 7:01Speaker 5: have three sons. You never get between a woman and
- 7:04Speaker 5: her children.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but, Bobby, I mean, here you are.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Phil, you never, ever get between a mother and her children,
- 7:12Speaker 5: and this is something that is very prevalent in nature,
- 7:17Speaker 5: and it's something that we all know about in nature.
- 7:21Speaker 5: If you come upon a den where a mother is
- 7:24Speaker 5: guarding her young, whether it is a wolf, a snake,
- 7:27Speaker 5: I don't care what, and you try to get into
- 7:31Speaker 5: that den, that mother is going to tear you to shreds,
- 7:37Speaker 5: limb from limb, Phil. And she got between me and
- 7:40Speaker 5: my sons.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Wait a minute. All right, calm down for a minute, okay?
- 7:43Speaker 1: You're in a store.
- 7:44Speaker 3: The policy of the store was to only take one
- 7:46Speaker 3: case of the two-gallon jugs.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You took two cases.
- 7:49Speaker 5: I had two cases. I told her I have three
- 7:52Speaker 5: sons who attend Western Estates.
- 7:54Speaker 3: No, I know where your sons go to school. The
- 7:56Speaker 3: obvious thinking on your part is you deserve the water
- 7:59Speaker 3: more than the other people.
- 8:01Speaker 5: Bill, we have something called Y2K coming up.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I'm fully aware of Y2K. I know all about it.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Okay. There is a good possibility that we will be
- 8:11Speaker 5: without running water and that it is going to be
- 8:15Speaker 5: a free-for-all. And the strongest will survive.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Well, now you're talking like an idiot, okay?
- 8:22Speaker 5: I didn't call your program to be insulted.
- 8:25Speaker 3: No, but now you really are. Now you're talking like
- 8:27Speaker 3: just a dime-store idiot. Though the strongest will survive, for
- 8:31Speaker 3: God's sake. We live in a civilization here. Act like
- 8:34Speaker 3: a civilized human being, okay? We're only going to survive
- 8:37Speaker 3: if we help each other. Everything that I have heard
- 8:40Speaker 3: and read is that if anything happens, it will be
- 8:42Speaker 3: moderate to mild at the very extreme.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Now, what are you talking about?
- 8:47Speaker 5: I am talking about saving my family from what could
- 8:52Speaker 5: be a disastrous Y2K event. It could be a non-event,
- 8:55Speaker 5: you're right. But if what happens, what I think is
- 8:58Speaker 5: going to happen, happens. Did you see the film Road Warrior?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Oh, come on.
- 9:05Speaker 5: Did you see the film Road Warrior, yes or no?
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yes, I saw Road Warrior.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Okay. You're going to be up for grabs along with
- 9:13Speaker 5: everybody else. My family. And if we have to repopulate
- 9:17Speaker 5: the earth.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Repopulate the earth?
- 9:21Speaker 5: Yes, Phil. If it's necessary. if nuclear weapons go off
- 9:26Speaker 5: as the result of a bad computer programming. I think
- 9:31Speaker 5: those of us who are educated and those of us
- 9:35Speaker 5: who have the means should survive.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Okay, so you got into a hair-pulling match at a
- 9:40Speaker 3: major club store today because you and your husband need.
- 9:43Speaker 1: To survive to repopulate the earth. I got it.
- 9:45Speaker 3: And this is the kind of idiotic thinking, of course,
- 9:47Speaker 3: ladies and gentlemen, that permeates some sectors of our society
- 9:51Speaker 3: and of our community. imbeciles, idiots, jack balls. Let's go
- 9:56Speaker 3: buy water. Let's go get generators. Let's go get batteries.
- 9:59Speaker 3: and let's be embarrassed on the first when nothing really
- 10:01Speaker 3: major happens. And there you have a lady who got
- 10:03Speaker 3: into a hair-pulling incident today at a department store with
- 10:09Speaker 3: one of the managers. They're pulling each other's hair because
- 10:12Speaker 3: she's got too much water. This is the Phil Henry Show.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Phil Henry Show at 1-800-449-8686. Bobby Dooley with the Western
- 10:32Speaker 3: Estates Parent Teachers Organization on the line. And this is
- 10:36Speaker 3: obviously a black eye for the Western Estates PTO that
- 10:39Speaker 3: you got into a hair pulling match.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Over to Club Store today.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Well, Phil, you know something? I will explain that to them,
- 10:45Speaker 5: and I don't think that that really is of any
- 10:49Speaker 5: concern of anyone else's. We're in the middle of a
- 10:51Speaker 5: Y2K experience, and we are trying to do the best
- 10:58Speaker 5: we can. I went to get water. They told me
- 11:02Speaker 5: that I couldn't, and I did what any woman would do,
- 11:04Speaker 5: protecting her family.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Any woman would get into a hair-pulling a hair-pulling match
- 11:09Speaker 3: with an assistant manager of a club store right there
- 11:11Speaker 3: in full view of everybody else because you needed water
- 11:14Speaker 3: for your sons and for your husband.
- 11:16Speaker 5: That is correct, Phil, and my husband believes that they
- 11:19Speaker 5: don't have the right to tell some of us that
- 11:23Speaker 5: we can't have extra water. Some of us, I think,
- 11:27Speaker 5: are deserving of extra water, whereas some of us probably
- 11:30Speaker 5: are not.
- 11:31Speaker 1: And those of us that are deserving of extra water
- 11:33Speaker 1: are who?
- 11:35Speaker 5: I would say they are individuals who obviously will assist if,
- 11:41Speaker 5: and it's a very big if, Phil, if there is
- 11:44Speaker 5: a need for repopulation.
- 11:46Speaker 3: You're talking about repopulating the earth because of what?
- 11:50Speaker 1: Because nuclear weapons are going.
- 11:52Speaker 6: To go off?
- 11:53Speaker 5: Phil, I'm saying it's a very big if.
- 11:55Speaker 1: You're a big if. It's like it's not going to happen.
- 11:59Speaker 3: You've got every responsible agency in the United States of America,
- 12:04Speaker 3: every responsible business, every responsible individual involved in computers telling
- 12:08Speaker 3: you that at the very worst, it is going to
- 12:11Speaker 3: be a moderate, a moderate problem with computers that will
- 12:16Speaker 3: be staggered across an entire year. Not some big blackout,
- 12:20Speaker 3: not some big nuclear holocaust. And yet there you are
- 12:24Speaker 3: getting into a hair-pulling contest, at a club store with
- 12:27Speaker 3: an assistant manager because just in case we need to
- 12:30Speaker 3: repopulate the earth, you and Steve and your sons need
- 12:34Speaker 3: to have water.
- 12:35Speaker 5: That's exactly correct, Phil. And you can mock it all
- 12:38Speaker 5: you want and misunderstand it all if you want. It
- 12:41Speaker 5: is absolutely possible. And you call it a hair-pulling contest.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I call it a fight for survival. And I call
- 12:49Speaker 5: it a battle for my family. And if any woman
- 12:53Speaker 5: listening out there would understand.
- 12:54Speaker 1: All right, here is Fargo on the Phil Henry Show.
- 12:57Speaker 5: Hello.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Yeah, hello.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yes, sir.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I want to know, who the hell
- 13:01Speaker 4: do you think you are, lady?
- 13:03Speaker 5: For one... When there's a limit. Yes, there is a
- 13:07Speaker 5: limit for some of the people. I explained to the
- 13:09Speaker 5: store manager.
- 13:10Speaker 4: You're some of the people.
- 13:11Speaker 5: You are the people. I explained to the store manager.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 13:15Speaker 5: I explained to the store manager.
- 13:17Speaker 7: That I had.
- 13:17Speaker 4: No, there is a limit for you.
- 13:19Speaker 5: You are a person just like any other person. I
- 13:21Speaker 5: explained to the store manager that I had three sons
- 13:25Speaker 5: and a husband at home.
- 13:26Speaker 4: There are people with more kids than you.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Yes, and let's look at those families, shall we?
- 13:31Speaker 8: They have to apply to that same limit you do.
- 13:32Speaker 5: Let's look at those families, shall we? More kids. Who
- 13:36Speaker 5: are they? We don't know. Are they responsible? We don't know.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Are you responsible?
- 13:41Speaker 5: We don't know. Excuse me, but my husband has a
- 13:44Speaker 5: very successful landscaping business.
- 13:46Speaker 8: Does that store manager know that you are a responsible person?
- 13:49Speaker 7: No.
- 13:49Speaker 5: I explained to them that my husband has a wildly
- 13:51Speaker 5: successful landscaping business. Anyone could explain anything.
- 13:56Speaker 8: Anyone could explain anything they want to a store manager.
- 13:59Speaker 5: I have been a member at that store for 15 years.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Well, she still doesn't know that you're responsible. Have you
- 14:05Speaker 4: sat down? Are you guys friends?
- 14:08Speaker 5: The fact of the matter is this. You know, I
- 14:14Speaker 5: am a mother of three boys. Don't get between a
- 14:18Speaker 5: dog and his meat. Don't get between a dog and
- 14:21Speaker 5: his meat. Were your children in the store at that time? No,
- 14:24Speaker 5: they were not.
- 14:25Speaker 8: Then there is no getting between you and your children. Ma'am,
- 14:28Speaker 8: there is a limit. And another thing, as far as
- 14:30Speaker 8: repopulating the earth, what is that?
- 14:34Speaker 1: That's what I'd like to know. What is that all about?
- 14:36Speaker 8: Do you think that you've been chosen to repopulate the
- 14:40Speaker 8: entire earth, that you are the almighty being that will
- 14:44Speaker 8: repopulate you and your husband?
- 14:47Speaker 5: You can laugh all you want, Mr. Henry.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Well, it's funny. What is this republic? I mean.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Mr. Henry, you know that computer problems can arise which
- 14:59Speaker 5: would cause a mass launching of nuclear weapons. And then
- 15:04Speaker 5: what are you going to say?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Oh, come on, for crying out loud. There's a manual
- 15:08Speaker 3: override on every one of those systems. You think the
- 15:11Speaker 3: Russians want those? Even if the Russians have got bad computers,
- 15:13Speaker 3: they probably had a manual override on those things since
- 15:16Speaker 3: about six months ago so that they wouldn't even have
- 15:19Speaker 3: to deal with that crap, all right?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Same thing here in the United States.
- 15:22Speaker 3: You can't even launch a missile without a key and
- 15:25Speaker 3: a whole bunch of crap.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I know. I saw Crimson Tide.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Oh, you saw Crimson Tide, so you know. Do the
- 15:30Speaker 5: gentlemen in Fargo, do you see Crimson Tide, too?
- 15:32Speaker 8: You know what? I have actually been to an Air
- 15:35Speaker 8: Force locally here.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Wow.
- 15:39Speaker 8: And in order for a missile to be launched, you
- 15:45Speaker 8: have to turn not one key, but six or seven
- 15:49Speaker 8: keys simultaneously.
- 15:51Speaker 5: All I'm saying is if, and I told Mr. Hendry
- 15:53Speaker 5: it's a big if. If there is a mass launching
- 15:58Speaker 5: of nuclear weapons, if we have a problem, Yes, don't
- 16:01Speaker 5: you want responsible people repopulating the earth? How do we
- 16:04Speaker 5: know you're responsible? Who says it's going to be you?
- 16:07Speaker 5: I have told you that my sons attend a very
- 16:09Speaker 5: prominent school. They're very intelligent boys. My husband has a
- 16:13Speaker 5: wildly successful landscaping business. Oh, okay.
- 16:17Speaker 8: So because your sons attend a very prominent school and
- 16:20Speaker 8: your husband owns a very... That makes you responsible people?
- 16:24Speaker 5: So when I'm proven right, don't bring your radioactive....
- 16:32Speaker 1: Hello?
- 16:32Speaker 5: Yes.
- 16:33Speaker 1: We lost her line. Is she there? Is the lady there?
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yes.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 16:39Speaker 5: You know, when I'm proven right. No, it's ridiculous. Don't
- 16:43Speaker 5: bring your radioactive, careless ass over to my house for water. Ma'am, ma'am,
- 16:47Speaker 5: you are being utterly ridiculous.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Ridiculous.
- 16:50Speaker 8: Getting into a hair-pulling fight with a manager over a couple.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Of bottles of water.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Because you need that water to repopulate the earth. Let's
- 16:56Speaker 3: not forget that.
- 16:59Speaker 5: When both of you are dying from radiation sickness, don't
- 17:02Speaker 5: come to my home. Don't come to my home.
- 17:04Speaker 8: Well, I tell you what, Phil, when I'm dying from
- 17:06Speaker 8: radiation sickness, I will call you and let you know, okay?
- 17:08Speaker 3: Give me a call, and we'll have a chat.
- 17:11Speaker 4: We'll have coffee and discuss the radiation.
- 17:12Speaker 1: We'll have a radioactive cup of coffee.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Wonderful. Listen to the two assholes.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Oh, so now we're using language like that.
- 17:20Speaker 4: We have to resort to profanity, but we're responsible.
- 17:22Speaker 8: I don't want, if we have to repopulate, I don't
- 17:25Speaker 8: want these repopulated.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Children using that kind of language, man.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 17:27Speaker 5: How would you make coffee with no water? Oh, gotcha
- 17:31Speaker 5: on that one, didn't I? But you've got water. How
- 17:34Speaker 5: are you and Mr. Henry going to make coffee without water?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Well, you know what we'll do? We'll go to your
- 17:38Speaker 1: house and loot your water. How about that?
- 17:40Speaker 3: We'll go to your house on our radioactive motorcycles, kick
- 17:43Speaker 3: down your front.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Door, and.
- 17:44Speaker 5: And I suppose you'll rape me.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yes, as a matter of fact, I will. I'll rape you,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and then I'll take... Oh, my God. Thank you, sir,
- 17:51Speaker 1: for your call, okay?
- 17:51Speaker 4: You're welcome.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Thank you. I have shotguns in the house.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Okay, great.
- 17:54Speaker 3: You'll have shotguns. But first, I'll rape you, and then
- 17:58Speaker 3: take your water. Phil Henry Show. Phil Henry Show at 1-800-449-8686.
- 18:05Speaker 3: So anyway, here in Southern California, we had one incident.
- 18:09Speaker 3: And let me, may I stress just one of a
- 18:14Speaker 3: lady getting into a hair pulling match with an assistant
- 18:17Speaker 3: manager at one of these major club stores that you
- 18:19Speaker 3: become a member of and you can go in and
- 18:21Speaker 3: buy all of your groceries or what have you. They
- 18:25Speaker 3: had a limit. You could only get one case of water.
- 18:27Speaker 3: She got two cases of water. She happens to be
- 18:29Speaker 3: a frequent guest on our show. Her name is Bobbi
- 18:31Speaker 3: Dooley with the Western Estates Parent Teachers Organization. and got
- 18:35Speaker 3: into this hair-pulling match and was removed from the store
- 18:37Speaker 3: and apparently felt that she was entitled to the water.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I didn't ask you, Bobby, did you get your water?
- 18:42Speaker 5: Yes, I got my water, Phil, and I think you're
- 18:45Speaker 5: mischaracterizing what happened. I was, again, as I said to
- 18:50Speaker 5: you earlier, a mother protecting her children.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Well, when the manager went to remove the water from
- 18:55Speaker 3: your cart, you grabbed her by the back of her head, correct?
- 18:59Speaker 5: Yes, I grabbed a handful of her hair. and I
- 19:04Speaker 5: snapped her head back so as to get her out
- 19:07Speaker 5: of my cart, yes. And that's when she wheeled around
- 19:10Speaker 5: and grabbed my hair.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Now, I have a question. Store employees say that they
- 19:14Speaker 3: had to pull you off of her.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 19:17Speaker 5: I took her feet right out from underneath her. You know,
- 19:21Speaker 5: let me explain something, Phil. I'm 5'3. I weigh about
- 19:27Speaker 5: 110 pounds. But I am a walking ball of hurt.
- 19:33Speaker 5: And what I mean by that is if you get
- 19:35Speaker 5: between a dog and his mate, I can bring it. Okay?
- 19:40Speaker 1: What do you mean you can bring it?
- 19:41Speaker 5: I can bring it. That's all I'm going to say.
- 19:43Speaker 5: I can bring it.
- 19:45Speaker 1: You can bring what?
- 19:46Speaker 5: Don't mess with a woman, especially a mama bear, protecting her. cubs, okay?
- 19:50Speaker 5: Or I'll bring it on you. And I can bring
- 19:51Speaker 5: on the hurt.
- 19:53Speaker 1: All right, so you brought on the hurt.
- 19:55Speaker 3: You took this woman's feet out from underneath her, and
- 19:57Speaker 3: you literally had to be pulled off of her.
- 19:59Speaker 5: That's correct.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Are you proud of that?
- 20:02Speaker 5: I am proud of the fact that I was protecting
- 20:04Speaker 5: my children.
- 20:04Speaker 3: You keep saying protecting your children. You were buying two
- 20:07Speaker 3: extra gallons of water.
- 20:09Speaker 5: And that was for my children, for my husband, and
- 20:13Speaker 5: for God help us, our future on a planet that
- 20:17Speaker 5: may be devoid of every living thing within the next
- 20:20Speaker 5: 48 hours.
- 20:22Speaker 3: And, oh, you're just, you're just, in my opinion, you're
- 20:24Speaker 3: being dramatic. Here is Charlotte on the Phil Henry Show.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Hello.
- 20:27Speaker 7: Hello.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am.
- 20:29Speaker 7: I just want to know where she gets off making
- 20:32Speaker 7: up her own rules. She can go into a store
- 20:35Speaker 7: and she doesn't have to follow the rules.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Every man for himself. Every man for himself.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Every man for himself. So you're going to repopulate the
- 20:42Speaker 7: earth with that attitude, every man for himself.
- 20:45Speaker 5: That barbaric attitude. The strong will survive.
- 20:48Speaker 7: Ma'am, you have no understanding of Y2K.
- 20:51Speaker 5: The Darwinian law, the strongest survive.
- 20:55Speaker 7: You have no understanding of Y2K. None whatsoever.
- 20:59Speaker 5: I have to know that if the lights go off
- 21:02Speaker 5: and Mr. Henry, you have heard him on the show say,
- 21:05Speaker 5: he'll come to my home radioactive and rape me.
- 21:09Speaker 3: And I'm kidding for crying out loud. You're the one
- 21:12Speaker 3: saying that you're afraid of me being radioactive.
- 21:14Speaker 5: If there is a mass launch, yes.
- 21:18Speaker 7: Can I ask you one question? Could you have followed
- 21:21Speaker 7: the rules, got your case of water, and then went
- 21:26Speaker 7: to another store and got another case of water? That
- 21:28Speaker 7: way it would be fair to everyone?
- 21:30Speaker 5: I don't think that that's something that needs to be
- 21:33Speaker 5: discussed or even considered. I was there. Why not?
- 21:36Speaker 7: Because the water was in my shopping cart already.
- 21:39Speaker 5: Because the water was in my shopping cart already. Who's
- 21:41Speaker 5: she to tell me?
- 21:42Speaker 3: It's her store. She's the assistant manager of the store.
- 21:45Speaker 3: She runs the store. She's the one that sets the policy,
- 21:47Speaker 3: or no, she enforces the policy, okay?
- 21:50Speaker 5: I've been shopping there for 15 years. Well, that's great.
- 21:54Speaker 5: I get everything there. I get all of our meats,
- 21:57Speaker 5: all of our produce. This is the call of the wild,
- 22:00Speaker 5: the Freudian law, survival of the fittest. Sigmund Freud said it.
- 22:05Speaker 7: And he's a great example to follow, Sigmund Freud.
- 22:09Speaker 5: You've never heard of him?
- 22:11Speaker 7: Yes, I've heard of him.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:12Speaker 5: What are you telling me, you don't like him?
- 22:14Speaker 7: No.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Why? No.
- 22:17Speaker 7: Why do you have this fear of Y2K?
- 22:20Speaker 5: Because on the news it said the computers... Let me
- 22:24Speaker 5: explain it to you, okay? Okay.
- 22:26Speaker 7: Seeing that I'm a computer programming major, explain it to me.
- 22:28Speaker 5: When the computers go to zero, they're going to think
- 22:32Speaker 5: it's the 19th century all over again.
- 22:36Speaker 7: No, ma'am, they do not. I mean, they honestly do not.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Please allow me to finish. Okay. Please allow me to finish.
- 22:44Speaker 5: When the computers go to the year 2000, and the
- 22:48Speaker 5: computer won't know that it's the year 2000 because it
- 22:51Speaker 5: wasn't explained properly.
- 22:53Speaker 7: So it wasn't programmed.
- 22:56Speaker 5: I'm sorry?
- 22:57Speaker 7: You're saying that the computer wasn't programmed to understand the
- 23:00Speaker 7: year 2000.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Let me ask you a question. Have you ever lost
- 23:03Speaker 5: clumps of hair?
- 23:05Speaker 7: Yes, actually I have.
- 23:06Speaker 5: It's not pretty, is it?
- 23:08Speaker 7: No, it's not.
- 23:09Speaker 5: That's what happens with radiation poisoning.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Well, you get off of the radiation poisoning, okay?
- 23:14Speaker 7: What's with the radiation poisoning?
- 23:16Speaker 5: The mass launching of missiles.
- 23:18Speaker 1: The mass launching of missiles, okay?
- 23:20Speaker 3: This is what she's worried about, that when it trips
- 23:22Speaker 3: over to zero, all the freaking computers are going to
- 23:24Speaker 3: go ape, and they're going to launch all the missiles, okay?
- 23:27Speaker 5: Okay, man.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Is that what you're worried about?
- 23:28Speaker 5: We're not going to drink heavy water.
- 23:31Speaker 7: Are you a believer in God?
- 23:32Speaker 5: You get splotchy, too. Am I a believer in who? God. Oh, that. Yeah, sure. Okay.
- 23:41Speaker 7: Would you not think that if he made individuals intelligent enough...
- 23:44Speaker 7: To form a computer.
- 23:45Speaker 5: If he made individuals what?
- 23:47Speaker 7: Intelligent enough to make a computer. Because he gave us
- 23:51Speaker 7: that gift. Because he gives everyone.
- 23:53Speaker 5: Well, then you better pray to God that he fixes
- 23:55Speaker 5: the damn things because they're about to go haywire.
- 23:57Speaker 7: No, he also gives you the intelligence for mankind that
- 24:03Speaker 7: have studied this for years to be able to control this.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 24:08Speaker 7: There may be a few little glitches and a few
- 24:10Speaker 7: little country stores or something like that, but there's not
- 24:14Speaker 7: going to be nuclear missiles going off.
- 24:16Speaker 5: There's not going to be any.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Of that because no matter what anybody thinks, everybody wants
- 24:20Speaker 7: to live. Do you think Russia is going to send
- 24:22Speaker 7: off a nuclear missile because they know that we'll send
- 24:25Speaker 7: off one too?
- 24:26Speaker 5: God also made computers, and look what happened. Listen, I
- 24:30Speaker 5: have a friend of mine. She just got a jury
- 24:32Speaker 5: duty notice from the county of Los Angeles, okay?
- 24:35Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Jury duty for the year 1900. Excuse me, but that
- 24:41Speaker 5: was 99 years ago. How can she go to the
- 24:44Speaker 5: year 1900 and be on a jury when she doesn't
- 24:48Speaker 5: live in that year? And I explained it to her,
- 24:51Speaker 5: and she's worried.
- 24:53Speaker 1: What's she worried about?
- 24:54Speaker 7: She's worried that she doesn't show up in the year.
- 24:56Speaker 7: Is she worried she's going to walk into the courtroom
- 24:57Speaker 7: and everybody's going to be from 1900?
- 25:01Speaker 5: Why did she get a notice for the year 1900?
- 25:04Speaker 5: We haven't invented time travel yet.
- 25:06Speaker 7: It's a glitch in a system. And most people, most places.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Lady, she's got a thing for 1900. So guess what?
- 25:11Speaker 3: She can figure it's for the year 2000. If that's
- 25:14Speaker 3: the worst problem we got. So some jackball is going
- 25:18Speaker 3: to look at that and go, well, I guess I
- 25:19Speaker 3: don't have jury duty because it says 1900.
- 25:20Speaker 7: I mean, in Charlotte, like, the major stores in Charlotte
- 25:25Speaker 7: are like Food Lion. major grocery stores and things like that. Yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 7: and like six months ago, these people were Y2K compatible.
- 25:35Speaker 7: They've been working on this thing for like two years.
- 25:37Speaker 5: Well, I don't know what you're supposed to wear. I'm just,
- 25:39Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 25:40Speaker 1: To what, the year 1900? Get yourself something high button.
- 25:43Speaker 3: It might be great. Thank you very much for your call.
- 25:46Speaker 3: So what if they got something from 1900? So she
- 25:48Speaker 3: looks at it and she's, oh, I guess I got
- 25:49Speaker 3: jury duty for the year 2000.
- 25:50Speaker 5: It doesn't say that, Phil.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Well, she can assume that they meant 2000. It doesn't
- 25:55Speaker 3: say that. Salt Lake City on the Phil Henry Show.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Hello?
- 26:00Speaker 5: Hello?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Yes, hi.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 26:03Speaker 6: I want to ask Ms. Fuller why she didn't just
- 26:06Speaker 6: fill her milk cartons at home with water. I mean,
- 26:09Speaker 6: why did you even bother?
- 26:11Speaker 5: Fill my milk cartons with what? With tap water? I'm sorry. No.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Pardon me?
- 26:16Speaker 5: With what? With tap water?
- 26:19Speaker 6: Well, if you're such a survivalist, don't you have some
- 26:21Speaker 6: kind of filter?
- 26:23Speaker 5: No, we don't drink tap water, do you?
- 26:25Speaker 6: I love my tap water. Well, you know, you're... Rocky
- 26:29Speaker 6: Mountain tap water.
- 26:30Speaker 5: So you think.
- 26:32Speaker 6: Well, I've been alive 59 years, and I'm still going strong,
- 26:35Speaker 6: but I don't understand why you didn't find the water until.
- 26:38Speaker 5: You judged yourself. Then why didn't you turn your radio
- 26:40Speaker 5: down when he told you to?
- 26:41Speaker 6: Pardon me?
- 26:42Speaker 5: Why didn't you turn your radio down?
- 26:43Speaker 6: I don't have a radio on.
- 26:45Speaker 5: You're lying.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Does that have anything to do with what we're talking about?
- 26:49Speaker 5: You're lying because I can hear your radio on the background.
- 26:51Speaker 6: But what I think is so sad is that you're
- 26:53Speaker 6: the kind of woman who gives women such a bad name.
- 26:56Speaker 5: No, I didn't.
- 26:57Speaker 6: It's so embarrassing.
- 26:59Speaker 5: You're the one that didn't turn her radio down.
- 27:01Speaker 6: You're an embarrassment to women. You really are.
- 27:05Speaker 5: I protect my family. Do you protect your family? I
- 27:08Speaker 5: protect my children. I protect my boys. I've got the
- 27:12Speaker 5: water for them. And it's not your rocky mountain slop.
- 27:17Speaker 6: It's good, clean water. You poor excuse.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Turn your radio down. It's just really sad. Turn your
- 27:24Speaker 5: radio down.
- 27:25Speaker 6: Nothing's going to happen. I know you're going to be
- 27:27Speaker 6: very disappointed on New.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Year's Day, but really nothing's going to happen.
- 27:31Speaker 6: You're still going to be alive.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Ma'am, would you turn your radio down so she'll quit
- 27:33Speaker 3: asking me for you to turn your radio down?
- 27:35Speaker 5: Hello?
- 27:36Speaker 1: She hung up.
- 27:36Speaker 5: What a filthy liar. She said she didn't have her.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Okay, give it up. She had her radio on fine.
- 27:43Speaker 3: She lives in Salt Lake City.
- 27:44Speaker 5: She may want to drink the crap that comes out
- 27:47Speaker 5: of her tap. I'm sure she's the kind of woman
- 27:50Speaker 5: that sucks out of a garden hose, not my family.
- 27:54Speaker 5: And besides, she's pretty old, so she won't be missed.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Well, that was uncalled for.
- 27:59Speaker 5: Well, it's true.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Well, it was still uncalled for.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Well, it's still true.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Greenville on the Phil Henry Show. Hello.
- 28:05Speaker 7: Hello.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am.
- 28:06Speaker 9: I want to ask the woman, does she believe in God?
- 28:08Speaker 7: What?
- 28:08Speaker 9: Do you believe in God?
- 28:10Speaker 1: No.
- 28:11Speaker 9: You don't believe in God?
- 28:11Speaker 5: No, I do not. Okay.
- 28:13Speaker 7: Not at all?
- 28:14Speaker 6: No.
- 28:14Speaker 7: Are you an atheist?
- 28:16Speaker 5: Am I a what? You're an atheist? What's that?
- 28:18Speaker 9: Someone who doesn't believe in God. Well, I guess that's me.
- 28:22Speaker 9: So how do you think you were created?
- 28:23Speaker 5: How do I think I was created? I don't know.
- 28:25Speaker 5: It doesn't matter. Yeah, it does matter.
- 28:29Speaker 7: Mr.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Henry, were we talking about Y2K?
- 28:31Speaker 1: Yes.
- 28:32Speaker 5: Well, could you stick to the point, please?
- 28:34Speaker 9: I am sticking to the point.
- 28:35Speaker 5: No, you're not. Yes, I am.
- 28:36Speaker 6: You're babbling.
- 28:37Speaker 9: You think that just a couple bottles of water is
- 28:38Speaker 9: going to save your life?
- 28:39Speaker 5: You're babbling.
- 28:40Speaker 9: You think you're better than everybody else, that you think
- 28:42Speaker 9: that you should repopulate the Earth?
- 28:43Speaker 5: Yes, as a matter of fact, I do.
- 28:44Speaker 9: Well, there is a God, okay, and he can decide
- 28:46Speaker 9: who's saved.
- 28:47Speaker 5: No, there is not. There is no God.
- 28:49Speaker 6: Yes, there is.
- 28:49Speaker 5: It's every man for himself, and I will repopulate the Earth. Okay.
- 28:54Speaker 5: I'll tell you how I was created, by the way,
- 28:55Speaker 5: in the back of a Vega. In 1955.
- 28:58Speaker 9: Oh, that's the way everybody was created?
- 29:01Speaker 5: That's how I was created.
- 29:02Speaker 9: Okay, and for you, I don't know.
- 29:04Speaker 5: You, it might have been a truck stop.
- 29:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Well, where do you think? I'm sorry, my parents loved
- 29:08Speaker 5: each other. Well, that's fine. They might have loved each
- 29:10Speaker 5: other in a truck stop.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Okay, what is the point of all of this? What
- 29:13Speaker 1: is the point of you ladies? What are we?
- 29:16Speaker 5: Well, Phil, she's trying to tell me that I don't
- 29:18Speaker 5: have the right to decide that it's up to Steve
- 29:21Speaker 5: and I and our three boys to repopulate the Earth.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Well, what do you mean your three boys?
- 29:28Speaker 5: My three sons will select as their consorts three young women.
- 29:35Speaker 5: And if this young lady was smart, she'd be one
- 29:37Speaker 5: of them.
- 29:39Speaker 9: You're just absolutely insane.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Why am I insane that I am making precautions for
- 29:43Speaker 5: the future and all you can do is babble about God?
- 29:46Speaker 5: God helps those who help themselves. I thought that's what
- 29:49Speaker 5: I heard you people say. I do. I do help myself. Okay.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Have you gotten your bottled water?
- 29:53Speaker 9: Yes, but I don't think that I should, that I'm
- 29:55Speaker 9: better than myself, than everybody else, that I have to
- 29:57Speaker 9: go and steal somebody else's water and fight for it.
- 30:00Speaker 5: I'm not stealing it. I bought it.
- 30:02Speaker 9: But you're limited to one. I work in a retail store.
- 30:04Speaker 5: You're talking pretty fast.
- 30:05Speaker 6: It's the same thing.
- 30:05Speaker 9: I understand what limits are.
- 30:07Speaker 5: You're talking pretty fast. Are you on crank?
- 30:08Speaker 7: No.
- 30:10Speaker 9: Okay. I just came home from work.
- 30:12Speaker 5: All right. I was just checking.
- 30:13Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Are you on crank? Yeah.
- 30:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:16Speaker 5: Boy, oh boy.
- 30:16Speaker 9: What the hell are you on?
- 30:18Speaker 5: High on life, honey. I'm high on life.
- 30:20Speaker 9: How old are you?
- 30:21Speaker 5: I'll bring it. How old am I?
- 30:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:23Speaker 5: Old enough to go.
- 30:23Speaker 9: Oh, so you don't want to say your age.
- 30:26Speaker 5: I'm old enough to know. I'll tell you what, right now, though,
- 30:28Speaker 5: I'm old enough to bring it.
- 30:32Speaker 9: Can I get a straight answer?
- 30:34Speaker 5: How old am I? I'm 43. 43.
- 30:36Speaker 9: How long do you think you can repopulate the earth?
- 30:38Speaker 5: Darling, for a long time.
- 30:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 5: A long time.
- 30:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:44Speaker 9: I really believe that, lady.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Well, you know something, lady, at least I'm making plans.
- 30:48Speaker 5: I'm not going to be on my knees praying to
- 30:51Speaker 5: some super, what do you call it, big boogeyman or
- 30:55Speaker 5: whatever you believe in.
- 30:56Speaker 1: She believes in God.
- 30:57Speaker 9: I believe that there may possibly be something happen, but
- 31:00Speaker 9: I don't think it's going to be the end of
- 31:01Speaker 9: the world.
- 31:02Speaker 5: What do you think will happen?
- 31:04Speaker 9: I think there may be a little bit of a
- 31:05Speaker 9: power surge, and that's it, a power outage.
- 31:07Speaker 10: That's it.
- 31:08Speaker 5: So why'd you get water? Huh? I always have bottled water.
- 31:11Speaker 9: I drink bottled water. Every day. I take a bottle
- 31:13Speaker 9: of water every day to work.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Have you got good complexion? Yes. It's good for your skin,
- 31:17Speaker 5: isn't it?
- 31:18Speaker 9: I just like to drink water, but I don't think
- 31:20Speaker 9: that I should. I mean, I live out in the country.
- 31:23Speaker 5: How do you handle all the trips to the bathroom?
- 31:25Speaker 9: Yeah, that's no problem for me.
- 31:26Speaker 5: Okay. I'm prepared. Well, you'll be whittling some wood. I'm
- 31:30Speaker 5: not saying it's not a problem.
- 31:31Speaker 9: I don't think you shouldn't prepare, but I think you're
- 31:33Speaker 9: going to the extreme.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Darling, listen. Darling, I'm not going to be on a
- 31:35Speaker 5: front porch whittling some wood on New Year's like you.
- 31:38Speaker 5: I'm going to be hunkered down in my bunker. Okay,
- 31:40Speaker 5: how prepared are you besides the water? We have six
- 31:43Speaker 5: gallons of water, and we have Campbell's Chunky Soup. That's it?
- 31:48Speaker 5: What's wrong with that?
- 31:49Speaker 9: Okay, I think I'm a little more prepared than you.
- 31:50Speaker 9: I have water. I have a generator.
- 31:52Speaker 5: A generator? A little bit of a surge and you
- 31:54Speaker 5: have a generator? Hello.
- 31:56Speaker 9: No, I live in the country, okay?
- 31:58Speaker 5: I'm prepared to go around. Move into the city, for
- 32:00Speaker 5: God's sake. Get around some people. It's not healthy.
- 32:04Speaker 9: I do live in the city, but my house is
- 32:05Speaker 9: 20 miles away from the city.
- 32:06Speaker 5: You're talking to the animals all day long.
- 32:08Speaker 9: Excuse me?
- 32:09Speaker 5: You're talking to the animals all day long.
- 32:11Speaker 9: I work in a retail store. Where do you see
- 32:12Speaker 9: that I talk to animals all day?
- 32:14Speaker 5: You're living out in the country, out of the woods.
- 32:16Speaker 5: You don't have any contact with humans there.
- 32:18Speaker 9: I can drive to work.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Darling, you don't have to drive. Just move somewhere where
- 32:23Speaker 5: there are people.
- 32:24Speaker 9: There are people.
- 32:25Speaker 5: No, raccoons aren't people.
- 32:27Speaker 9: There are 6,000 people in my town alone.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Raccoons are not people.
- 32:31Speaker 1: She didn't say they're raccoons. She said they're people.
- 32:34Speaker 5: She may think raccoons are people.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Okay. Thank you very much for your call. Phil Henry Show.
- 32:41Speaker 5: I got lots of shotgun shells, so don't bring your
- 32:43Speaker 5: ass here.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, we got it.
- 32:48Speaker 3: From the local store, even though the store didn't want
- 32:51Speaker 3: her to have it because she is preparing for Y2K,
- 32:54Speaker 3: she's got gallons of water. Her husband and her sons
- 32:57Speaker 3: will help. repopulate the earth.
- 33:00Speaker 5: And you can make all kinds of jokes about it, Phil,
- 33:02Speaker 5: but it is.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Well, the jokes started when you started saying that don't
- 33:07Speaker 3: drag my radioactive ass over to your house because, you know,
- 33:11Speaker 3: you're not going to give me any water, right?
- 33:13Speaker 5: Phil, you know, we've got a very serious situation with Y2K. No,
- 33:18Speaker 5: I do not, and I don't think there's anyone listening
- 33:23Speaker 5: in your audience tonight that is prepared to deal in
- 33:27Speaker 5: any rational way with radioactive mutants who may find their
- 33:31Speaker 5: way to their front door.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Radioactive mutants?
- 33:39Speaker 5: So that's really funny, huh? Okay, you wait and see
- 33:45Speaker 5: what happens.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Radioactive mutants will be at your front door, is that it?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Is that it, Bobby?
- 33:54Speaker 5: Go to another call, please. No, seriously.
- 33:58Speaker 3: I'm going to get radioactive and become a mutation and
- 34:00Speaker 3: come to your door asking for water.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Is that it?
- 34:03Speaker 5: Go to another call, please.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Is that it?
- 34:07Speaker 5: Phil, I do not want hairless, cross-eyed, limp-legged freaks running
- 34:13Speaker 5: into my house. I just don't.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Okay. Portland on the Phil Henry Show. Hello.
- 34:20Speaker 5: How you doing?
- 34:21Speaker 6: Fine.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Well, you know what?
- 34:22Speaker 10: When I first called in, I thought this was going
- 34:23Speaker 10: to be serious, but, Bobby, you've obviously got some major problems.
- 34:27Speaker 5: No, I'm trying to make a point. Because everybody else
- 34:31Speaker 5: wants to make a joke out of this. That's fine.
- 34:33Speaker 6: No, no, no.
- 34:33Speaker 7: Let me ask you a question.
- 34:33Speaker 5: We have a serious situation in our country, and I
- 34:36Speaker 5: have addressed that situation.
- 34:38Speaker 10: Bobby, okay, the main point here is that you felt
- 34:41Speaker 10: you deserved the water, correct?
- 34:43Speaker 5: That is absolutely correct.
- 34:44Speaker 10: And responsible people get the water, correct?
- 34:47Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 34:47Speaker 10: Now, wouldn't it have been responsible for you... to stock
- 34:51Speaker 10: up water earlier than the last minutes?
- 34:54Speaker 5: No, because the water doesn't keep, number one. Number two,
- 34:58Speaker 5: it's important to make sure that the supplies that you
- 35:04Speaker 5: have are going to be fresh.
- 35:06Speaker 10: It's responsible to be unprepared.
- 35:08Speaker 5: The water needed to be fresh.
- 35:11Speaker 10: And how long does water keep?
- 35:14Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 35:14Speaker 10: Well, then wouldn't it be responsible to find out how
- 35:17Speaker 10: long water kept?
- 35:18Speaker 5: I need the freshest water possible for my three boys.
- 35:21Speaker 11: Do you have any idea when that water was bottled?
- 35:27Speaker 5: Well, I'm buying it today. It's fresher than it was
- 35:30Speaker 5: six months ago. That's why I was buying it today.
- 35:32Speaker 10: Because it's fresh. Okay, well, say the water's fresh. Now,
- 35:38Speaker 10: out of curiosity, you're on the PTO board. That was
- 35:43Speaker 10: kind of an issue that came up.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Now, is that an elected position?
- 35:47Speaker 5: This is an elected position, yes.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Kula, Hawaii. Hello, you're on the Phil Henry Show. Yes, sir,
- 35:51Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 35:52Speaker 11: I just think it's sick and disgusting how this lady
- 35:55Speaker 11: has to go get her water. I think the store
- 35:58Speaker 11: manager was doing her job, and I think this lady
- 36:00Speaker 11: needs a lot of help.
- 36:01Speaker 5: I need the most recently made water possible. No, excuse me,
- 36:05Speaker 5: excuse me, excuse me.
- 36:05Speaker 11: I'm 14 years old, and I have a lot more
- 36:07Speaker 11: better grip on Y2K than you'll ever have in your life.
- 36:10Speaker 5: But you live in Hawaii.
- 36:11Speaker 11: You need so much help.
- 36:12Speaker 5: You live in Hawaii. What about Hawaii? I can't go
- 36:15Speaker 5: down to a stream and drink from a brook like
- 36:17Speaker 5: you people in Hawaii do. You are so confused. You
- 36:20Speaker 5: are so disgustingly confused. How am I... You people in
- 36:24Speaker 5: Hawaii go drink out of a brook. You are so disgusting.
- 36:29Speaker 5: You have all the.
- 36:30Speaker 11: It's not even funny.
- 36:32Speaker 5: You are so... I'm sorry. What do you know that
- 36:34Speaker 5: I don't know, young man? You got all the.
- 36:35Speaker 8: What do I know?
- 36:36Speaker 11: Well, geez, I know a lot more than you will
- 36:38Speaker 11: ever know about.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Why two people.
- 36:39Speaker 5: You have all the fresh water made.
- 36:42Speaker 11: I am sorry. You are so wrong.
- 36:45Speaker 5: You are... It is so disgusting.
- 36:46Speaker 6: You.
- 36:46Speaker 5: People in Hawaii go up to one... You people in
- 36:49Speaker 5: Hawaii go up to one of your little brooks and waterfalls...
- 36:52Speaker 5: It is so disgusting that you have to go in
- 36:55Speaker 5: and you have to do that to a store manager.
- 36:56Speaker 5: I have a retail, I have a summer job in
- 36:58Speaker 5: a retail store. Oh, go split a coconut. What was that?
- 37:02Speaker 5: I said to go split a coconut.
