  So let's start off by talking about something free.

  embassy employees, seems like a hate crime, we'll talk about that, and they are believers

  in Christ, Messianic Jews, we'll talk a little bit more about that with you, get the details,

  I could tell you, we could spend this entire time talking about the ministry that's come

  We've seen what's happened on college campuses, the idiocy, the radicalism, the anti-semitism,

  off the charts that we were kind of, a lot of us to take an off guard after the horrific

  attacks in Israel on October 7, a year ago or so.

  And then we saw what was happening in America.
• 3:07
  So I think that opened a lot of people's eyes.
• 3:09
  Well, church, we need to be supporters of Israel.
• 3:11
  I'll leave it at that.

  invasion of Gog and May Gogh from Ezekiel, chapter 38 and 39.

  they believe because it's very important in the world that we live in today to be able

  to defend Biblically why you support Israel and the Jewish people and you, you know, as

  we're going to be talking about in a moment, in a moment that the two Israeli diplomats
• 7:23
  that were recently murdered in Washington, DC, you know, we've got to be able to defend
• 7:28
  why anti-Semitism is satanic and all of this is our all resources that we can provide
• 7:35
  you so that you can know what scripture passages to go to and how to defend your position
• 7:40
  as a Christian Zionist, somebody who believes that the Jewish people have a right to exist
• 7:45
  in their ancient homeland.
• 7:47
  Okay.
• 7:48
  Now, the sobering part of the podcast here with you, brother.
• 7:54
  It was an active terror, it has the full attention of the FBI.
• 8:00
  And so the guy was shouting, I don't have it in front of me, free Palestine or something.
• 8:05
  The alleged attacker, but these were two employees of the Israeli Embassy, correct?
• 8:13
  Tell us about it.
• 8:14
  Yeah, that's correct.
• 8:17
  These two were actually, they're actually believers in Jesus, which is amazing, but these
• 8:22
  were two diplomats that were fatally shot, close range as it reports.
• 8:29
  And really they were just coming out of the Jewish Museum in Washington, DC after an event.
• 8:34
  There was already protests that were going on outside and an individual that screaming
• 8:39
  free, free Palestine and an individual came up and and murdered them at close range.
• 8:44
  These two Israeli diplomats and so again, this ties into something that I think is important
• 8:51
  for us to talk about David, which is the rise of anti-Semitism.
• 8:56
  And I wanted to find anti-Semitism because a lot of people don't really know what that
• 9:00
  means.
• 9:01
  And that I'm not saying that to put down your audience, I know statistically we have
• 9:05
  stats and numbers show that people don't know what that means.
• 9:08
  And what anti-Semitism is is the targeted hatred of the Jewish people.
• 9:14
  And so this has been going on since biblical days, the targeted hatred of the Jewish people.
• 9:20
  And I want to give a definition to it that I actually didn't come up with.
• 9:23
  I have to give credit to a Israeli journalist.
• 9:27
  His name is Javier Reddick-Gur and he writes for the times of Israel.
• 9:32
  And he defined anti-Semitism as the belief that the Jewish people are the obstacle to
• 9:41
  global redemption.
• 9:43
  It's not just enough that it's not just stereotypes, everybody's got a racial stereotype for any
• 9:52
  individual race.
• 9:53
  We're not just talking about stereotypes, those are wrong too.
• 9:56
  But the show will deep down hatred of the Jewish people comes from the fact that you actually
• 10:04
  believe anti-Semites actually believe Jewish people are the obstacle to global redemption.
• 10:11
  And that's why all of a sudden they'll say things like well, they'll say things like Jews
• 10:15
  control the media.
• 10:17
  You know, when you say Jews control the media, you're saying well, I can't even get my voice
• 10:20
  out because the Jewish people control it or Jewish people control the banks.
• 10:24
  So how am I ever going to have autonomy in my financial life?
• 10:27
  The Jewish people, they prevent us from moving forward or, you know, there's so many various
• 10:32
  ways that the stereotypes play into this idea that the Jewish people are the obstacle to
• 10:38
  global redemption.
• 10:40
  And I think it is one of the best definitions because that's the way that Satan is deceiving
• 10:46
  the world because the reality is the actual biblical approach is that Jewish people are
• 10:52
  the answer to global redemption.
• 10:55
  They aren't the obstacle, they're the answer.
• 10:58
  That's why Satan is trying to deceive people to believe that they're the obstacle to global
• 11:02
  redemption.
• 11:03
  When in reality, they are the answer why they provided Jesus the Jewish Messiah, who's
• 11:08
  our savior, our king of kings, our Lord of Lords, our king.
• 11:14
  And so they provided redemption, they provided the word of God that we have, that we rely
• 11:20
  on and we trust in the authority of God's word in our lives.
• 11:25
  They came from the Jewish people and also the fact that God's not done with the Jewish
• 11:29
  people according to what the Scripture says.
• 11:32
  So if God's not done with the Jewish people, then clearly they are a part of God's plan
• 11:37
  for global redemption.
• 11:38
  That's why we teach that prophecy conferences.
• 11:41
  But really, if you think about Javier Reddick-Gurz definition of anti-Semitism, it's perfect.
• 11:47
  Satan is doing all that he possibly can to bring about deception.
• 11:53
  When they scream free, free Palestine, you have to think about it.
• 11:57
  They're saying we don't even want any Israel on the land.
• 12:00
  It's not just free Gaza or free the Palestinian territories.
• 12:04
  It's Israel should not exist.
• 12:07
  And they're willing to even murder Israelis over this.
• 12:11
  You saw on October 7th, you see it here or attack them or think about the protests on
• 12:16
  college campuses.
• 12:17
  So often times these progressives on college campuses will link police brutality with the
• 12:24
  existence of Israel.
• 12:26
  What does one have to do with the other?
• 12:28
  And so ultimately, you see this belief that Israel is an obstacle to global redemption.
• 12:34
  When really the biblical truth is no, according to Genesis chapter 12, verses 1 through 3, Israel
• 12:41
  is going to be a part of the plan of global redemption.
• 12:45
  And Satan is doing everything he can to unwind that.
• 12:48

  Let's talk about that belief for a minute and the obstacle seeing as Israel and the Jews
• 12:56
  being an obstacle because the hatred of the Jews, you could put a word before that, irrational
• 13:04
  hatred.
• 13:06
  So let's bring in the spiritual aspect to this.
• 13:08
  It is demonic.
• 13:10
  It's demonic because there's a spiritual dynamic behind it that the warfare, the enemy,
• 13:18
  the Jews are a threat.
• 13:20
  He hates Israel.
• 13:21
  He hates Christians, but he hates the Jews.
• 13:24
  Would you care to speak to the spiritual dynamic underlying this because it is an almost
• 13:28
  an irrational hatred of the Jews, isn't it?
• 13:32
  It is.
• 13:33
  And I'm glad you brought that up because when I look at that definition that the Israeli
• 13:37
  journalist, have you read a Gurgev, I can't help but look at Genesis chapter 12 verses
• 13:42
  1 through 3.
• 13:44
  And in that passage, God promises Israel, a land, the land of Israel, descendants, the
• 13:50
  Jewish people, and a blessing.
• 13:54
  Not only a blessing that God would protect them, I'll bless those who bless you and curse
• 13:57
  those who curse you, but also the divine purpose of why God chose Abraham because through
• 14:03
  you Abraham, all the families of the earth will be blessed.
• 14:07
  They had a divine purpose to bring salvation, the message and truth of salvation that would
• 14:12
  come through Jesus, the Messiah, to the entire world.
• 14:15
  Through you Abraham, all the families of the earth would be blessed.
• 14:19
  What's interesting is that when you look at the history of anti-Semitism, it's a shape
• 14:23
  shifter, David.
• 14:25
  It moves from religious anti-Semitism when you go back to the days of the Book of Esther,
• 14:31
  when Heyman says in Esther 3.8, there's a certain people, King, we got to get rid of them,
• 14:37
  to the Spanish inquisitions when they would tell Jewish people in 1492, hey, look,
• 14:44
  convert to Christianity, Catholicism, or flee or die.
• 14:50
  That was your options, okay?
• 14:51
  So there's religious anti-Semitism.
• 14:54
  Even to the point where my grandmother talks about the fact that she grew up in a Catholic
• 14:57
  church where she learned in school that Jesus was the Jewish people were Christ killers.
• 15:04
  It was all the Jewish people's fault.
• 15:06
  That's religious anti-Semitism.
• 15:08
  But then there's also genetic anti-Semitism.
• 15:11
  That comes in the 19th and 20th century with the rise of Hitler and how Hitler gravitates
• 15:17
  not to your faith, forget about your faith, forget about what you believe.
• 15:21
  It actually has everything to do with who you are, your DNA as a Jewish person.
• 15:26
  And I was just going through, I was in Israel a couple of weeks ago,
• 15:29
  and I was just going through Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust Museum and Memorial.
• 15:34
  And I saw a sign that really captured me, David.
• 15:37
  It said that in the Warsaw ghetto, there were 3,000 Jewish Christians.
• 15:44
  And you know what's amazing?
• 15:45
  That didn't stop Hitler from killing them because they were Christians.
• 15:49
  It didn't matter.
• 15:50
  Their DNA was Jewish and they found the same destiny that secular Jewish people found,
• 15:56
  religious Jewish people found, even Jewish believers in Jesus found.

  They all landed in the gas chambers in the death camps of Auschwitz, Birkenau.
• 16:05
  And so you can imagine for Hitler and for this other form of anti-Semitism, it's genetic.

  And then finally, you know what we're seeing today?
• 16:12
  Statehood anti-Semitism.
• 16:14
  Yes.
• 16:15
  Explain to me why in the world these young Israeli diplomats are in Washington, DC at an event
• 16:23
  and mining their own business and they were murdered.
• 16:26
  They were murdered for an event that's for a country that's on the other side of the world.
• 16:31
  What does one have to do with the other?
• 16:34
  They were Jewish.
• 16:35
  They were supporting Israel and they were murdered in the United States
• 16:39
  for a country on the other side of the world.
• 16:41
  That's what you're seeing with the rise of anti-Semitism today.
• 16:44
  Statehood anti-Semitism.
• 16:45
  College campuses are in an uproar.
• 16:47
  Why?
• 16:48
  Because Israel went to war against its enemy Hamas.
• 16:53
  And what happens?
• 16:54
  You end up with a spread of anti-Semitism and rise of anti-Semitism globally.
• 16:58
  What does one have to do with the other?
• 17:00
  What does a Jew in France have to do with Israel's defense?
• 17:04
  What does a Jew in Argentina or a Jewish person in Los Angeles or Brooklyn, New York have to do with Israel?
• 17:10
  It's called statehood anti-Semitism.
• 17:13
  And isn't it interesting?
• 17:14
  You're ready, David, watch this.

  This is the spiritual component.
• 17:16
  We talked about statehood anti-Semitism.
• 17:19
  God said to Abraham, I'm going to give you a land.
• 17:23
  Jewish genetic anti-Semitism that comes from the 19th and 20th century,
• 17:28
  ultimately with the Nazis.
• 17:30
  Think about God says to Abraham, I'm going to give you descendants,
• 17:33
  actual descendants, DNA descendants, the Jewish people.
• 17:36
  And then think about the last one, religious anti-Semitism.
• 17:39
  What did God say to Abraham?
• 17:42
  Abraham through you, all the families of the earth will be blessed.
• 17:46
  You know what Satan does, white spiritual?
• 17:48
  Satan takes Genesis 12, one through three,
• 17:50
  and he flips it over to deceive people once again.
• 17:54
  You want to know what anti-Semitism is?
• 17:56
  It's taking what God promised Abraham.
• 17:58
  And he taking it lightly.
• 18:00
  And ultimately God says, I will bless those who bless you.
• 18:03
  And those who take this promise lightly, I will curse.
• 18:08
  A lot there to think about, brother, but thank you.

  But David, I'll say another thing and it hit me not long ago as I was reading through Romans chapter 11.
• 20:36
  You know, sometimes the church I believe looks at what's going on in Israel and they go,
• 20:42
  that's not Israel. That's secular Israel. As the church, we don't have to really worry about that.
• 20:48
  We don't have to. I was really surprised how many churches didn't pray for Israel
• 20:53
  after October 7th, you know, or didn't take a stand after October 7th.
• 20:58
  But I was reminded when I was reading through the section in Romans chapter 11 with the Apostle Paul
• 21:05
  talks about the olive tree. And he says, now if some of the branches were broken off and you,
• 21:10
  a wild olive shoot were grafted in among them and participated in the richness of the olive
• 21:17
  root, that's us Gentiles being welcomed into this tree, which is is goes roots go down to Abraham,
• 21:26
  Isaac and Jacob. If we have experienced the richness of the olive root, it says do not boast
• 21:33
  over the branches. But if you boast, remember that you do not support the root,
• 21:39
  but the root supports you. And I was thinking that's, you know, Paul, it's true. And it's so true
• 21:44
  because Paul is saying, don't boast not just over the Jewish branches, actually the ones that were
• 21:50
  broken off it said, we shouldn't be boasting over them as if we've gained and they lost like we're
• 21:58
  winners and they're losers. No, it actually Paul is showing that as the church, we should be
• 22:03
  praying for Israel and the Jewish people. We should be supporting Israel and the Jewish people
• 22:09
  because the Apostle Paul wanted to use the Gentiles in order to cause jealousy among the Jewish
• 22:15
  people because we carry the promise of the Holy Spirit inside of us. The Holy Spirit is a promise
• 22:22
  that wasn't made in the New Testament. It's a promise that goes back to Ezekiel chapter 36
• 22:28
  right before Ezekiel 37 when God promises to restore Israel to the land.
• 22:32
  Right before that, he says, I'm going to put my spirit in you. It reminds us of Jeremiah 31,
• 22:37
  the promise of the New Covenant, a promise of an Old Testament prophet Jeremiah. These are prophecies
• 22:43
  that were intended for Israel that by God's kindness and mercy and grace have been given to us as
• 22:49
  believers in Jesus. You know what? We shouldn't boast over that. We should show the same mercy
• 22:56
  that God is showing to us and how do we do that? We love the Jewish people. We support Israel
• 23:01
  because again, God says in Genesis 12, I will bless those who bless you and those who curse you.
• 23:07
  I guess people look at, for example, that verse and maybe they don't think it's literal.
• 23:13
  They don't think that God will bless us if we bless Israel. Now, there's an individual aspect to
• 23:20
  that and then there's a national aspect to that, meaning America has been an ally of Israel and I
• 23:26
  believe this country has been blessed. We can talk about this on another podcast, maybe Chris,
• 23:32
  but I believe America has been blessed big time because of our support and our defense of Israel.
• 23:38
  Could you share some thoughts on that in the last couple of minutes here?
• 23:42
  Yeah, you know, a lot of times if I'm having this conversation with somebody who doesn't believe
• 23:46
  in the Bible, I say, okay, so you don't believe in the Bible. That's fine, but let's just look at
• 23:50
  history. Let history be your guide. If you need empirical evidence, history can be your guide,
• 23:55
  then and then you'll see it's in the Bible as well. I will bless those who bless you and it actually
• 24:00
  in the Hebrew, it doesn't say I will curse those who curse in the Hebrew. It's two different
• 24:03
  words for curse. It actually says for anyone who takes this lightly, I will curse, which means
• 24:08
  you don't even have to curse Israel. You just need to take this promise lightly, okay? And so what
• 24:14

  just 80 years ago, 6 million Jewish people were systematically killed. And yet somehow this group

  I don't know a candidate. But I know Jewish people. That just goes to show God's faithfulness. And

  then you know what I do? I take them to the Bible. I will bless those who bless you and curse those

  who curse you. You better believe that that promise still matters today. And I am thankful that we

  live in a country that supports Israel and the Jewish people. And an administration that is

  I just really think sometimes that we take it for granted. We are born post 1948. How miraculous

  the birth of the rebirth of the nation of Israel was in 1948. And we're here just, you know,

  we just, it's been our lifetime, right? Israel has always been a nation. But they,

  they're just the miraculous regathering from all over the globe when the land was a wasteland.

  And that was prophesied, right? A wasteland for almost 2000 years. That's right. And you know,

  there are still Israelis who were born prior to 1948 that saw the existence of the state of Israel

  coming. And they're still in, they're still alive. So they can tell the story of what it meant to come

  from 1948 to today. And I'm sure they definitely can tell some stories as well. Yes. Well,
