Shooting at VSU Leaves Five Injured | Lafayette Louisiana News
A shooting at Virginia State University left five young people injured, sparking chaos just after a freshman event ended. A 19-year-old suspect, Camron Harris — not even a student — was found hiding in a dorm closet over 14 hours later. Only one victim was enrolled at VSU. Authorities are still piecing together whether others fired shots and if any were in self-defense. Harris faces multiple charges and remains jailed without bond as the investigation continues.
