- 0:11Speaker 1: here with shut Down cornerback Tredavius White. I said, lockdown
- 0:15Speaker 1: last two weeks. Now we're shutting it down, so.
- 0:18Speaker 2: That means I'm getting better, Yeah, Tray, lockdown to shut down,
- 0:23Speaker 2: lockdown to shut down.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna have something new the week after trying
- 0:27Speaker 1: to come up with new words to subscribe that would
- 0:32Speaker 1: be better.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Right here, right there, So everybody blocking it down, Trey.
- 0:39Speaker 1: The weather outside has been a crazy z. The wind
- 0:42Speaker 1: is blowing, the snow is going sideways. People were without
- 0:46Speaker 1: power this week, and you were one of them.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I was, let's not you know what, let's talk about it.
- 0:53Speaker 2: First of all, you know we're coming here. You know,
- 0:56Speaker 2: we get stuff going on in the morning. So I
- 0:58Speaker 2: get a text from you know, the electricity. Then we
- 1:01Speaker 2: got an outage, So I'm okay, I'm cool. I got
- 1:04Speaker 2: me a nice generator, yea honeywell, to be exact, shout out,
- 1:09Speaker 2: shout out the honeywell. So but I get a text
- 1:12Speaker 2: you powers out the kids at home. So after we
- 1:19Speaker 2: finished here, I go home and power is still out.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Were sitting there, Trey White, mister fix it man, look.
- 1:25Speaker 3: It started that wind.
- 1:26Speaker 2: That wind was blowing, and every every time we open
- 1:31Speaker 2: the door or do something, it just seemed like the
- 1:32Speaker 2: temperature going down in the house.
- 1:35Speaker 3: So it started probably seventy five seventy four nice and
- 1:39Speaker 3: turch down to fifty nine. Oh, I could see my
- 1:43Speaker 3: the smoke coming from every time I talk.
- 1:46Speaker 2: We lit a candle. We got in the middle of
- 1:49Speaker 2: we started singing songs.
- 1:50Speaker 1: What songs were you singing?
- 1:52Speaker 3: Old school with him?
- 1:54Speaker 2: The only thing we can do is think about God,
- 1:55Speaker 2: just old old heymns like church hem wow. As a family,
- 2:00Speaker 2: we got in the circle. We snuggled up. But the
- 2:02Speaker 2: only thing we was without power for like ten hours.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, ten hours. Three kids.
- 2:09Speaker 3: It's no Wi Fi, no TV, nothing, just us old school.
- 2:15Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:16Speaker 2: We played hide and seat for a minute, we get that.
- 2:19Speaker 2: We played soccer in the basement with this. Had my
- 2:22Speaker 2: flashlight on from my from my phone. So we just
- 2:25Speaker 2: tried numerous things, but we were without power for ten hours,
- 2:31Speaker 2: ten hours long.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Ten hours of your life.
- 2:35Speaker 2: No, I've had worse experiences, but having the way with
- 2:40Speaker 2: a flight I was on the twelve.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Let's not talk about that. But yesterday it just showed
- 2:47Speaker 3: like that as a family. We can get through anything.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Ten hours no power in Buffalo. What it's less than
- 2:56Speaker 2: twenty degrees fifty miles.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Power when fifty nine degrees in the house.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Fifty nine degrees in the house, Like, let's talk about that.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Like no power, no internet, no Wi Fi, no screens,
- 3:09Speaker 2: no TV, nothing, just us.
- 3:12Speaker 3: It brought us together as a family.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I would say that we had some conversations about things
- 3:17Speaker 2: that that we needed, but unfortunately it happened in an
- 3:21Speaker 2: unfortunate way because of the weather. But we were out
- 3:24Speaker 2: power for ten hours, which we could have been without
- 3:27Speaker 2: power for five minutes, five minutes if we would have
- 3:31Speaker 2: just went outside, pulled the thing up on the generator
- 3:36Speaker 2: and pushed like two buttons, two or three buttons, and
- 3:39Speaker 2: we would have been great, like great, Like the generator
- 3:42Speaker 2: looks great under there, like no spiderwebs, nothing like it
- 3:46Speaker 2: looks brand new under the hood. But for us to
- 3:49Speaker 2: not know what to do in that moment, like I
- 3:51Speaker 2: just feel like I failed the family.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna it's a learning experience. It's not
- 3:56Speaker 1: gonna happen again.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I got little boys, and the fact that we were
- 4:00Speaker 2: sitting there in the house for like ten hours and
- 4:02Speaker 2: no power.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You knew what to do. You're like, we need this
- 4:05Speaker 1: bonding experience.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Let me tell you something.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Shout out to Bill's mafe like, we had some people
- 4:10Speaker 2: come fix us. Why the weather was going bad in
- 4:15Speaker 2: the wind, come out and help us out after work yesterday.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Wow, we had the name drop though they weren't gonna
- 4:21Speaker 3: come at first.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Man, they said, they is trade.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I need a little power here. You got three boys here.
- 4:32Speaker 2: You know that at that age where you know, if
- 4:35Speaker 2: the thing's not going away, it could be kind of
- 4:36Speaker 2: tough for the parents. But shout out to Bill's Mafield, man, like,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you had two great guys to come out yesterday, got
- 4:43Speaker 2: us right. I thought they brought like batteries, all these
- 4:47Speaker 2: tools they need.
- 4:50Speaker 1: They went boom boom.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You heard that thing kickstart that generated kickstart. The Christmas
- 4:56Speaker 2: like came. I didn't hear my kids for the the
- 5:00Speaker 2: rest of the night. I didn't hear from nod gotta break.
- 5:03Speaker 3: What the best dad ever?
- 5:06Speaker 4: What did you do?
- 5:07Speaker 3: I didn't tell them we had people. I said, yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 3: you know, Daddy could do it.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I can catch They're proud, they're proud of you.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I can do it all. Yeah, Jack of all trades.
- 5:17Speaker 2: But honestly, though ten hours no power brought us together
- 5:21Speaker 2: as a family, I feel like I feel failed my family.
- 5:24Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, for sure.
- 5:26Speaker 1: You learn from it. There's only learning experiences.
- 5:29Speaker 3: You know what, what if we had like a flat
- 5:31Speaker 3: tire or something.
- 5:32Speaker 1: In this weather, you would have figured it out in
- 5:35Speaker 1: this weather.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not even gonna lie, man, that's where you
- 5:38Speaker 2: got in this weather. I'm gonna load the family up
- 5:42Speaker 2: and we're gonna walk home like we're gonna go. We're
- 5:45Speaker 2: gonna leave like I'm not going to jack a car
- 5:47Speaker 2: up in like twenty degrees in the snow wide wind.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I'm not doing.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That's when you just open up your phone, ago, dial alemerick.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Hey, Uber black, come meters up right exactly? Track? Yeah both.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Then I always have Uber Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 1: When I first moved here, even in twenty nineteen, it
- 6:04Speaker 1: wasn't it wasn't great.
- 6:06Speaker 3: We got Uber with twenty twenty one I don't want,
- 6:09Speaker 3: but we didn't get Uber black into twenty twenty four.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Oh Uber Black, Yeah, fancy.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Man, I need the Uber Black.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I'm not even why I gotta stretch my leg I
- 6:19Speaker 2: didn't have too many I gotta stretch these legs out.
- 6:21Speaker 2: This knee, gotta the stretch straight these ankles. So yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 2: I need an uber black. Then I'm coming with a klan.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Three boys like and they they need their space, they
- 6:32Speaker 2: need their space. So yeah, for activities for sure. When
- 6:35Speaker 2: we travel, we travel in a pack. It's a pack,
- 6:39Speaker 2: the white white.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I love it, the white pack. It's like a wolf
- 6:43Speaker 1: pack with the white pack.
- 6:44Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I like it.
- 6:46Speaker 3: You're gonna hear it before you see us though.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, duh, that's that's what makes you guys great.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You also had the dB gift exchange this week.
- 6:54Speaker 3: How to go went great. A lot of mad faces though,
- 6:58Speaker 3: Oh I'm not even tell us.
- 7:01Speaker 1: What tell us what you gifted? Whoever got it? Okay,
- 7:04Speaker 1: you couldn't tell us before, but we want to know now.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I okay.
- 7:08Speaker 2: The minimum was fifteen hundred. Yeah, and me trying to
- 7:13Speaker 2: be a good teammate, I went above and beyond.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So you said you were doing fourteen ninety nine tray.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I did, but it's the season. Look, given tis the
- 7:22Speaker 3: season this season, so I brought it up on myself.
- 7:26Speaker 3: I spent twenty eight hundred tree almost double wow, very generous.
- 7:32Speaker 3: I love my teammates holy moly.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But you know the object of the game is to
- 7:37Speaker 2: get a gift that you would want for yourself.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So I was like, okay, no, treat others how you'd
- 7:44Speaker 1: want to be treated.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Golden rule. So I got a Gucci travel band. And
- 7:50Speaker 3: it's not the old Gucci like the.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Brown with the with the red and green stripe.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It's very subdom It's black, little g's on it. You
- 8:01Speaker 2: really gotta go up close to see if the noise
- 8:03Speaker 2: is Gucci, like, you know, subtle.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that I like.
- 8:07Speaker 3: And I thought it was a great gift.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It came in this great package, like Gucci did a
- 8:11Speaker 2: great job of packaging up well. And yeah, Gucci bag
- 8:16Speaker 2: rolling roll the Gucci bag. It was twenty twenty five edition.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It was a new edition, like it was great, Like
- 8:20Speaker 2: the guys was really.
- 8:23Speaker 3: For sure. I think it got stolen twice.
- 8:25Speaker 1: So is it wrapped or do you guys have a unwrapped.
- 8:28Speaker 3: No, No, I have a wrapped up. It was wrapped.
- 8:30Speaker 1: So you have to pick the gift and you open
- 8:33Speaker 1: it and then it can get stolen. Yes, yep.
- 8:35Speaker 3: So once they opened up their Gucci bag, they rolled
- 8:37Speaker 3: the Gucci it got stolen twice.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It can only get stolen twice, but it got stolen
- 8:42Speaker 2: twice within like then the following.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Two turns, like they really wanted that good job. I
- 8:49Speaker 3: feel like my gift was really good.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, we had a couple good goog Like we had
- 8:53Speaker 2: some Louis Vaton bags.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I saw a big Louis box in the locker room.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I said, oh, is this for me?
- 9:00Speaker 2: It wasn't they got they had Look, they had every flavor.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Butcha they had an orange Gucci bag or royal blue
- 9:06Speaker 2: Gucci bag. I mean Louis Louis Louis. They coming fly
- 9:11Speaker 2: flavors this season. It's like skittles. They had orange, blue, black, green.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Wow, You'll tell you something.
- 9:19Speaker 2: These dbs love Louis Vaitian because I swear every gift
- 9:22Speaker 2: they got opened up.
- 9:23Speaker 1: With another Louis box every time did they did they
- 9:27Speaker 1: like it? Or were people like, okay, Louis, We're on
- 9:30Speaker 1: Louis overload.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Here.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Let's see who I think that? Who said that? Somebody said, yeah,
- 9:37Speaker 2: we going to the seabees.
- 9:39Speaker 3: He said something. He said something.
- 9:43Speaker 2: He said, y'all, I feel like we all got the
- 9:45Speaker 2: same year. We all got his lifted moved. Yeah, I
- 9:50Speaker 2: feel like we all got the same gel like you
- 9:52Speaker 2: see them of Louis Vaiton boxes up there.
- 9:57Speaker 1: He said something and everybody stopped in their tracks.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Nah, but like no, because everybody was looking at the gifts.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I'm like, who bought what? Let's be the thing like
- 10:08Speaker 2: they look at who bought what and they try to like, Okay,
- 10:11Speaker 2: this guy, I know he.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Probably did a good job. But yeah, I got two
- 10:16Speaker 3: Louisviton beanies in a Louis the Time belt.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Nice. That's good.
- 10:24Speaker 3: It was a good gift, like it fits me. I'm
- 10:25Speaker 3: a weather beanie. I don't know about the Louisiton belt.
- 10:29Speaker 1: You know you're not a belt guy.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I'm just not the guy that took my shirt in
- 10:33Speaker 2: just so people can see the label.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Like, well, it's then be subtle, Trey White. If you
- 10:37Speaker 1: need to use a belt, you use the Louis belt.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You don't have to tug it into show people. It's subtle.
- 10:42Speaker 3: But I put a bet on and have my shirt outside.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, But it's defeat the purpose.
- 10:50Speaker 2: But you can get the you know why you're getting
- 10:52Speaker 2: the Louis the Time belt so you can everybody could see.
- 10:55Speaker 2: You know, you get the Gucca belt. You gonna took
- 10:57Speaker 2: your shirt in so everybody can see the.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Double ges right that.
- 11:00Speaker 1: It's true. It's true.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I probably regifted you know, but you can't say that
- 11:06Speaker 2: why I know.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Who about the gift. Wouldn't we wouldn't care.
- 11:11Speaker 1: He dog, I'm gonna regift it, Okay.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I think it'll be good for me to regift it
- 11:17Speaker 2: somebody that's really gonna wear it.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I'm not just gonna hold a belt in mind just
- 11:22Speaker 2: to have it, not just to say I got a
- 11:23Speaker 2: Louis Bade belt.
- 11:25Speaker 3: A lot of people do that.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But somebody comes over, Hey, want to see my Louis belt?
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:29Speaker 2: Did I never wear? Did I never have one? I
- 11:33Speaker 2: think that's a good idea.
- 11:34Speaker 3: True.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna regift it for somebody's birthday. Somebody gonna feel
- 11:38Speaker 2: you know. I think you know, I got brothers and
- 11:41Speaker 2: younger brothers and stuff. We brought the same circumference.
- 11:44Speaker 1: No way, Yeah, we'd be good. I like it. Let's
- 11:47Speaker 1: recap Week seventeen, A tough loss to the Eagles. It
- 11:50Speaker 1: came down to the final play. After the game, Sean
- 11:53Speaker 1: McDermott said, the film will speak to us. How did
- 11:56Speaker 1: it speak to you?
- 11:59Speaker 4: Man?
- 11:59Speaker 2: We left some players out there. We left some opportunities
- 12:02Speaker 2: out there. But I just feel like as a defense,
- 12:06Speaker 2: you know, we played well second half. Specifically, we was
- 12:10Speaker 2: able to win third down, but we didn't take the
- 12:13Speaker 2: ball away.
- 12:14Speaker 3: So we talk about it. We've been talking.
- 12:16Speaker 2: About it for the last seven weeks. Winning a turnover watch.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I mean, as good as we played on defense, the
- 12:24Speaker 2: great neutralizer is the ball.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Yeah, we didn't get the ball and they got the ball.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Right, they did, they had won one. Yeah, it is,
- 12:31Speaker 1: they won one to zero in terms of the takeaway
- 12:34Speaker 1: battle there it is.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I mean, you could have a dominant performance all you want.
- 12:38Speaker 2: We outgained them what we had three hundred and fifty
- 12:41Speaker 2: yards of offense.
- 12:42Speaker 1: They had one hundred and ninety.
- 12:45Speaker 3: But what they took the ball away?
- 12:47Speaker 1: I mean all the stats. If you looked at the stats,
- 12:50Speaker 1: like first downs, Bills had twenty, the Eagles had eleven
- 12:53Speaker 1: more third down conversions. You held the ball for ten
- 12:56Speaker 1: minutes longer than they did rushing yards, passing yards. It
- 13:00Speaker 1: was one of those weird games where if you just
- 13:02Speaker 1: looked at the stats, you would have thought, Okay, the
- 13:04Speaker 1: Bill's got a dub in this category. Takeaways turnovers were
- 13:08Speaker 1: the one that the Eagles won one zero.
- 13:12Speaker 3: That's that's that's what this game about. His foot ball, the.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Ball valuing, you're not gonna win, and they was able
- 13:20Speaker 2: to go one to know in that and the margin,
- 13:22Speaker 2: and that's the great neutralizer. I mean, that's what we
- 13:24Speaker 2: talk about in our meeting rooms. You know, teams are
- 13:27Speaker 2: gonna make plays, but if we get the football, that's
- 13:30Speaker 2: a great neutralizer to get the ball back to officefore
- 13:32Speaker 2: we score more points or we can score defense or
- 13:34Speaker 2: four and out. That's just like a takeaway or fourth
- 13:37Speaker 2: down style. So you know, we weren't able to do that.
- 13:40Speaker 2: We were able to stop him from getting explosive pass
- 13:43Speaker 2: passing plays and explosive runs. You know, we was able
- 13:46Speaker 2: to stop the running back pretty good running with great
- 13:48Speaker 2: running back.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And yeah that I mean Squon had two thousand last year.
- 13:52Speaker 1: You guys hold him a sixty eight.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Do you see him though, Like he's like made like
- 13:57Speaker 2: in the lab, like I'm type of dude, like.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I work out like I think. But he talked abou
- 14:05Speaker 3: about the game. Give me tell me what's going on,
- 14:11Speaker 3: Like I see you come around that corner.
- 14:13Speaker 4: M hmmm.
- 14:15Speaker 3: He's like got two of.
- 14:16Speaker 1: These, Like it's crazy.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy to see, Like.
- 14:20Speaker 1: The size of his quad is the size of my torso.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Like I remember, like not to just go, but it
- 14:27Speaker 2: just reminded me, like when I was a freshman at
- 14:29Speaker 2: l s U and I had to play tie.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I played Tiger gurly.
- 14:33Speaker 2: When I say his thighs, what's so big, man, It's
- 14:37Speaker 2: like bigger than my whole boy, Like.
- 14:40Speaker 3: How big they were. It was like the size of
- 14:42Speaker 3: my whole friend.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I probably like one sixties free trunk, one sixty. And
- 14:46Speaker 2: I remember like the first rush that he had, he
- 14:49Speaker 2: rushed for like twenty something.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Dude, come at me.
- 14:51Speaker 2: He was like, y'all boys, better ready, be ready at
- 14:53Speaker 2: the top of the day. You know, I'm staking on
- 14:56Speaker 2: my side looking around. He ain't talking to me eventeen
- 15:00Speaker 2: years old out here, you're grown. Leave me alone. This
- 15:03Speaker 2: is my first rolling NCC game, too, as big.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Huge, huge taking it all in.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Hero five.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Look at you now, tread.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Right now, come on.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Tid, You and Todd being on the couch for about
- 15:20Speaker 2: two a couple of years.
- 15:21Speaker 3: You don't want that. You can still do it, Oh
- 15:23Speaker 3: for sure, you don't want that.
- 15:25Speaker 1: You guys really turn it around in the second half though,
- 15:28Speaker 1: You played like you had something to prove. Sixteen total
- 15:31Speaker 1: yards is what you allowed just one yard in the
- 15:33Speaker 1: fourth quarter. That's crazy. What was the biggest change?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I just think, like, like like I said last week,
- 15:40Speaker 2: just us being a group that had players that's been
- 15:44Speaker 2: in this system and we played together for some own.
- 15:47Speaker 2: It's just you know, we're out there, going out there
- 15:49Speaker 2: and just just playing ball, like like we said, like
- 15:52Speaker 2: I always say, we know the scheme, we know what
- 15:55Speaker 2: the play call calls for us to do, but how
- 15:58Speaker 2: can we take that extra step and like toe the
- 16:01Speaker 2: line and go for it.
- 16:03Speaker 3: And that's what we've been doing, like just going out there.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Playing fast, playing confident, playing team defense and just you
- 16:09Speaker 2: know what I mean, understanding the situations of the game,
- 16:13Speaker 2: and also taking advantage of the players that come our way.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I mean we've been doing that and like we did
- 16:18Speaker 2: a great job of that in the second half, you know,
- 16:20Speaker 2: playing plus rushing coverage. Anytime you can get these offenses
- 16:24Speaker 2: into the red zone, I mean into the red which.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Means yep went first down, yeap went third.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Down, long, third and third and long long at least.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Hard for the quarterback to complete us when we know
- 16:36Speaker 2: they got to pass the ball and wetend our rushers.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You don't have that many plays that you can go
- 16:41Speaker 1: to on third and line.
- 16:42Speaker 2: On third and twelve, third and ten, Like the offensive
- 16:44Speaker 2: coordinator is mad as hell.
- 16:46Speaker 3: He don't want to dial those up, like he knows
- 16:48Speaker 3: that's that's a recipe for disaster.
- 16:49Speaker 2: And we was able to get those guys into those
- 16:52Speaker 2: situations a lot last game, and we was able to
- 16:55Speaker 2: get get off.
- 16:55Speaker 3: We had five to three and outs five three.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Okay with the stats.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I'm hearing you with the stats, because they put it.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Up five three outs three, that's something to be proud of. Yeah,
- 17:08Speaker 1: it was twenty three.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Whatever was three for twelve.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I can't remember the numbers exactly, something like that.
- 17:15Speaker 2: There were one one for three in the red zone, yep,
- 17:19Speaker 2: one for three. I mean, yeah, the stack. But these
- 17:24Speaker 2: are the stats that we talk about. These are our
- 17:26Speaker 2: keys to win. We got win, turnover margin, win, third down,
- 17:30Speaker 2: red zone. There it is, and what was We only
- 17:35Speaker 2: gave up three point two yards of cab was it?
- 17:38Speaker 3: That's top five in the league.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that's really good, you know.
- 17:41Speaker 2: So, I mean we just gotta keep it going like
- 17:44Speaker 2: we we're in the final stretch. It's basically a one
- 17:47Speaker 2: game season from here on out. You know, last we
- 17:49Speaker 2: gotta use this week prepare for the Jets and then
- 17:52Speaker 2: goes on into whatever.
- 17:54Speaker 3: You know, it's up for us in the playoffs. But
- 17:57Speaker 3: I mean, we're.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Shaping into form now and everybody knows, you know, the
- 18:02Speaker 2: urgencies up and we need to perform, and I think
- 18:04Speaker 2: that everybody knows that, and we've been doing a great job.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Final week of the regular season is here. We're going
- 18:10Speaker 1: to take a break and I hope you guys enjoy
- 18:12Speaker 1: this interview, but don't worry, we'll be back after with more. Jordan,
- 18:17Speaker 1: thanks for being on talking a little bit about your
- 18:19Speaker 1: season and a lot of it about high Mark Stadium
- 18:22Speaker 1: memories because man, Sunday is going to be such an
- 18:24Speaker 1: important game. But looking back on the season you've had,
- 18:27Speaker 1: thirteenth year in the league, you're still making life hard
- 18:31Speaker 1: for opposing offenses with the way you're able to disguise,
- 18:34Speaker 1: helping run support, limit the passing attack. How have you
- 18:39Speaker 1: been able to be this productive still?
- 18:42Speaker 5: Well, thank you for having me on, and I mean
- 18:47Speaker 5: it's been just super grateful to be here, super grateful
- 18:50Speaker 5: to be.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Still part of this organization.
- 18:53Speaker 5: And you know, the boys that I'm playing with the
- 18:56Speaker 5: coaching staff here. You know, just it's a it's a
- 19:00Speaker 5: great place to be back. And that's why, you know,
- 19:03Speaker 5: I go out there and I just I play, you
- 19:06Speaker 5: know the way that I play. You know, I just
- 19:09Speaker 5: I love playing with the boys. And it's been fun
- 19:11Speaker 5: to make plays. And it's been fun to you know,
- 19:14Speaker 5: win some games and and lose some games and learn
- 19:16Speaker 5: from them and you know, continue to continue to go
- 19:19Speaker 5: on this run. So you know, uh, it's it's a
- 19:23Speaker 5: great place. It snows out about to snow to and
- 19:26Speaker 5: have to I think today, So it's a great place
- 19:28Speaker 5: to be. Where else would you rather be than you know,
- 19:30Speaker 5: in this moment. So it's been fun, fun to be part.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Of what area of your game has been the most
- 19:35Speaker 1: fruitful for you this season?
- 19:38Speaker 4: Fruitful?
- 19:39Speaker 5: Uh, you know, it's all just I look at it
- 19:43Speaker 5: all man, I mean just you know, it's it's all lessons.
- 19:45Speaker 5: You know, each year presents it's you know, different, you know,
- 19:50Speaker 5: ways to continue to get better. You know, emphasis is
- 19:52Speaker 5: always on tackling, you know, just continue to try to
- 19:55Speaker 5: get all carriers onto the ground. You know, obviously in
- 19:58Speaker 5: making plays on the football and then just playing good
- 20:00Speaker 5: collective team football, and and like I said, I think
- 20:04Speaker 5: we're you know, we're getting hot at the right time,
- 20:06Speaker 5: and you know, it's exciting, exciting times here in Buffalo,
- 20:10Speaker 5: New York right now, and we want to continue to
- 20:12Speaker 5: continue to work and and you know, continue to build
- 20:15Speaker 5: off of that.
- 20:16Speaker 1: If every year has been a lesson for you, what's
- 20:18Speaker 1: been the lesson this season?
- 20:22Speaker 4: I mean really that you know, age ain't nothing but
- 20:25Speaker 4: the number.
- 20:26Speaker 5: You know, I love that, you know, I you know,
- 20:31Speaker 5: last year was tough, you know in many ways. I
- 20:34Speaker 5: mean in the year before, you know, with all the
- 20:35Speaker 5: injuries this I've been telling a lot of people It's
- 20:38Speaker 5: been the first year and I've been able to use
- 20:40Speaker 5: my hands, uh in a long time. Last year was
- 20:43Speaker 5: the first year. I had surgery on my thumb. The
- 20:45Speaker 5: year before, the year before that, I have my elbow
- 20:47Speaker 5: and my knee and my ribs, and you know, it
- 20:49Speaker 5: was just kind of you one after another. And you know,
- 20:52Speaker 5: this first year, I fet I've felt fairly healthy and
- 20:56Speaker 5: you know, I can still understand the game, and you know,
- 20:58Speaker 5: I'm not twenty seven to twenty eight, twenty nine years
- 21:01Speaker 5: old anymore. But you know what I think Trey White
- 21:03Speaker 5: called us the Knapple Valley Boys fine wine. So, uh,
- 21:07Speaker 5: you know, I like that and I'm gonna stick with that.
- 21:09Speaker 5: So again, it's it's a fun group to play with.
- 21:12Speaker 5: And you know, I couldn't be more thankful to be
- 21:14Speaker 5: back here with with everybody.
- 21:16Speaker 1: He said, It's been the first year in a while
- 21:18Speaker 1: that you've been able to use your hands. I feel
- 21:20Speaker 1: like your hands is easily something that people can take
- 21:23Speaker 1: for granted. Well, those hands helped you get you an
- 21:25Speaker 1: interception against the Browns. How did you know I'm in
- 21:29Speaker 1: the right place to make this happen?
- 21:31Speaker 5: I mean, the ball it was like my whole life
- 21:33Speaker 5: life flash from my eyes and that ball was in there.
- 21:36Speaker 4: You know, it just felt good to get back on
- 21:38Speaker 4: the board. Man.
- 21:39Speaker 5: You know, it's been a long time, you know, especially
- 21:41Speaker 5: you know, going back to Cleveland, a place I used
- 21:43Speaker 5: to play for for a while, and you know I
- 21:46Speaker 5: still knew a lot of the people on the sideline
- 21:48Speaker 5: and that organization. Uh and uh, you know it felt
- 21:51Speaker 5: really good, and uh, you don't want to continue that momentum,
- 21:53Speaker 5: continue working hard. You know, I've worked stringly hard my
- 21:56Speaker 5: whole life, even you know, the ups and downs, you know,
- 22:00Speaker 5: to get here.
- 22:00Speaker 4: And I'm extremely grateful for it.
- 22:02Speaker 5: So I just want to be in the moment and
- 22:04Speaker 5: uh and uh, you know, work for the super.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Bowl in the second half. All season, the defense has
- 22:11Speaker 1: turned into a group of hulks. You have quarterbacks stopping
- 22:15Speaker 1: in their tracks. What have you pinpointed as the reason
- 22:19Speaker 1: why this happens consistently?
- 22:22Speaker 4: You know, guys work hard. You know, the game's not
- 22:24Speaker 4: one on Sundays.
- 22:25Speaker 5: You know, we work hard throughout the week, you know, Tuesday,
- 22:29Speaker 5: Monday through Friday, Monday through Saturday to prepare ourselves to
- 22:33Speaker 5: play on Sunday. And it's such a great group of
- 22:35Speaker 5: guys to be around, you know, from a front to
- 22:38Speaker 5: the linebackers to the back end, you know, and it's we.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Mess really well.
- 22:43Speaker 5: We make adjustments, really smart football players who and and
- 22:46Speaker 5: and our coaches also you know, being able to you know,
- 22:49Speaker 5: created make adjustments to offenses on how they're trying to
- 22:53Speaker 5: attack us and us being able to execute those adjustments.
- 22:55Speaker 5: And so again, it's a really good group of guys
- 22:58Speaker 5: and it looks like and feel like remestioned at the
- 23:00Speaker 5: right time.
- 23:02Speaker 1: One of those guys who you've played alongside with is
- 23:05Speaker 1: second year safety Cold Bishop. This season, you've really been
- 23:08Speaker 1: able to see his physicality and IQ on the field.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Where has he grown the most?
- 23:14Speaker 5: Man, I always tell him, Man, he's a superstar and
- 23:17Speaker 5: he's gonna play this game a long time. And it's
- 23:20Speaker 5: been you know, I tell him out every game that
- 23:22Speaker 5: we played. Man, I'm just super grateful to play alongside
- 23:26Speaker 5: him and help him in his career in any way
- 23:28Speaker 5: that I can. You know, this a guy who's got
- 23:30Speaker 5: all the talent in the world. Can you know, jump
- 23:33Speaker 5: out of the building, runs fast and physical, and he
- 23:36Speaker 5: and he's super smart, and he's continuing to learn the game,
- 23:40Speaker 5: and he's continued to just build off of that success.
- 23:42Speaker 5: You know, there are a lot of the plays that
- 23:44Speaker 5: he wants back. Absolutely. I mean this place throughout my career,
- 23:47Speaker 5: throughout the season I went back. It's plays that we
- 23:49Speaker 5: all went back. But at the same time, like he
- 23:50Speaker 5: continues to learn, he continues to grow, and that's what
- 23:53Speaker 5: most impressive about him. He might I think he's twenty
- 23:56Speaker 5: two years old, you know, but he's you know, he's
- 23:59Speaker 5: very mature for his age, and you know, he's he's
- 24:02Speaker 5: gonna play in this game a long time. It's just
- 24:04Speaker 5: been super cool to play alongside him, and uh, and
- 24:07Speaker 5: uh yeah, I'm super grateful for that.
- 24:09Speaker 1: What's a game or a play this season where you
- 24:12Speaker 1: looked over at Cole Bishop and you thought to yourself, man,
- 24:16Speaker 1: he's got it.
- 24:17Speaker 5: Man, it's been a couple uh. I mean the pick
- 24:19Speaker 5: he had against Tampa Bay was crazy. I mean the
- 24:23Speaker 5: pick he had against the Saints. I mean, he's been
- 24:25Speaker 5: some tackles that he made, and tackle he made a
- 24:28Speaker 5: couple of weeks ago against the Browns, you know, up
- 24:31Speaker 5: into a guy and and then you know on a
- 24:33Speaker 5: reverse he had he made a play. He's just super
- 24:37Speaker 5: physical and his his man and man coverage. And again
- 24:40Speaker 5: he's really smart. You know, he's starting to continue to
- 24:42Speaker 5: learn how, you know, one more our defense and too
- 24:46Speaker 5: how how offenses are attacking our defenses. And he's put
- 24:49Speaker 5: himself in the right place, in the right position to
- 24:52Speaker 5: to make plays on the football and to to help
- 24:54Speaker 5: our team win football games.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Coming back here, getting signed back to Buffalo this off
- 24:59Speaker 1: season and getting to be with players like Tredeavious White
- 25:03Speaker 1: and Tarin Johnson. Again, when you look around the dB
- 25:06Speaker 1: room to guys who have been here from the jump,
- 25:09Speaker 1: what are you doing to make sure you don't take
- 25:13Speaker 1: this time for granted, just.
- 25:16Speaker 5: I mean, really sustaining in the moment, because that's that's
- 25:19Speaker 5: really you know, what it's about. You know, we had
- 25:21Speaker 5: our Christmas at Shane last week and you know, just
- 25:23Speaker 5: the jokes and you know, we have our dB dinners
- 25:25Speaker 5: every Thursday. You know, we come in here and you know,
- 25:29Speaker 5: again it's pounding snow, and so it's just it's just us.
- 25:32Speaker 4: You know, we hang out here most of the day.
- 25:34Speaker 5: Guys are here early, staying late, having conversations. Obviously, yeah,
- 25:39Speaker 5: we go out there and play the game on Sunday,
- 25:40Speaker 5: but just you know, being together in these moments because
- 25:43Speaker 5: you know, again when it's gone, you look back, and
- 25:47Speaker 5: that's what it is. It's the moments you share, you know,
- 25:49Speaker 5: in the locker room after victory, you know, at dB
- 25:52Speaker 5: dinners and that that that you remember and the connections
- 25:55Speaker 5: that you have with each other. So you know, even
- 25:58Speaker 5: in the meetings, just being locked in, you know, in
- 26:00Speaker 5: those moments, and you know, taking every moment for what
- 26:04Speaker 5: it is, coming out here on the practice field, working
- 26:07Speaker 5: extremely hard and it's a fun group of guys to
- 26:09Speaker 5: be around. And again I'm just stremely thankful to just
- 26:13Speaker 5: be part of it again.
- 26:16Speaker 1: This season at Heimark Stadium is one to remember because
- 26:20Speaker 1: it's the final year after fifty three seasons full of
- 26:24Speaker 1: a lot of memories. I know, Buffalo means so much
- 26:28Speaker 1: to you, and you have so many memories that you'll
- 26:30Speaker 1: cherish forever at Hei Mark Stadium before the Bills move
- 26:33Speaker 1: across the street in twenty twenty six, what's a moment
- 26:36Speaker 1: you'll never forget?
- 26:39Speaker 4: Man, There's so many, you know, you could go back to.
- 26:44Speaker 5: I think it was the playoff game, the first home
- 26:46Speaker 5: playoff game that we won.
- 26:48Speaker 4: I think you think it was against the Colts.
- 26:51Speaker 5: You go back to the Baltimore game, Terrence pick six, Yeah,
- 26:54Speaker 5: and the COVID year. I mean, go back to I mean,
- 26:57Speaker 5: one of my favorites is, you know, my first game
- 27:00Speaker 5: in high Mark when both you know, Mike and I
- 27:03Speaker 5: both got a pick in the first game.
- 27:06Speaker 4: You know here that we played. You know, so many,
- 27:09Speaker 4: so many memories.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Mike is picking against the Patriots, you know, and then shoot,
- 27:16Speaker 5: to be honest, CBS play against Joe Burrow. That was
- 27:22Speaker 5: probably the loudest I've ever heard the stadium since since
- 27:25Speaker 5: I've been here. And I mean, again, there's so many memories.
- 27:28Speaker 5: There's so many moments. There's so many plays made, there's
- 27:31Speaker 5: so many. You know, there's a picture in the weight
- 27:35Speaker 5: room and me jumping in the stands against Jacksonville and
- 27:38Speaker 5: Mike after a pick and like it's just like moments
- 27:40Speaker 5: like that, you know, the snow game against the Colts,
- 27:44Speaker 5: the twenty seventeen and with Shady McCoy like taking it
- 27:49Speaker 5: to the end.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Zone and overtime. It's a lot of memories. I can
- 27:53Speaker 4: probably keep going for a while.
- 27:54Speaker 5: But we definitely miss it and so uh, you know,
- 27:58Speaker 5: definitely gonna take a piece of it to turf home
- 28:01Speaker 5: from the stadium.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Eight seasons with the Bills. You've been here since twenty seventeen.
- 28:05Speaker 1: That's when the journey began. What's a game that sticks
- 28:08Speaker 1: out the most?
- 28:10Speaker 4: A game that sticks out? Excuse me, start.
- 28:13Speaker 1: To finish one that you won't forget?
- 28:16Speaker 5: Man, oh man, that's there's so many, Like, there's so many.
- 28:25Speaker 1: A Snow game that's a great one.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Snow game for sure.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Patriots playoff game and wild Card when they scored on
- 28:31Speaker 1: Bill scored on every drive.
- 28:33Speaker 5: That was that was that was That was probably that game,
- 28:36Speaker 5: you know, probably that game that gave I gave speech
- 28:39Speaker 5: before that game. Yeah, you know, I'll use that for
- 28:44Speaker 5: my for my highlights when I'm done playing one day.
- 28:46Speaker 5: But uh no, it's again, there's so many memories hard
- 28:50Speaker 5: to you know, the fans are incredible.
- 28:53Speaker 4: You know, they're out there in the rain, sleep, sunshine.
- 28:56Speaker 5: You know, there's been some games out there where you know,
- 28:58Speaker 5: I remember the Broncos game we played twenty seventeen. It's
- 29:02Speaker 5: October and it had to be one hundred something degrees
- 29:04Speaker 5: outside and you know, still seventy thousand fans in the stands, screaming,
- 29:09Speaker 5: yelling support in You know, it was always fun to
- 29:12Speaker 5: step in front of Bills Mafia at high Mark.
- 29:15Speaker 1: There's been a lot of memorable games against the Patriots.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Another one that people bring up is the game coming
- 29:20Speaker 1: off of the Cincinnati game where Demor Hamlin suffered his
- 29:23Speaker 1: cardiac arrest episode and you're playing against the Patriots. First
- 29:26Speaker 1: play the game Nightly Pines kickoff return touchdown, and the
- 29:30Speaker 1: place went absolutely nuts.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Yeah. That was incredible too. Yeah, it felt like a movie.
- 29:34Speaker 1: A lot of great memories. When it comes to the
- 29:36Speaker 1: final game Week eighteen against the Jets, the last one
- 29:41Speaker 1: in high Mark Stadium in the regular season, could come
- 29:43Speaker 1: back for the playoffs. What are you going to do
- 29:46Speaker 1: to soak up every last second?
- 29:49Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, just take it all in, you know,
- 29:51Speaker 5: look around, take some deep breaths in the moment and
- 29:54Speaker 5: look around and smile at the fans, say thank you
- 29:58Speaker 5: to all of them.
- 29:59Speaker 4: You know, it's been incredible.
- 30:03Speaker 5: And you know a place that I is I'll never
- 30:06Speaker 5: ever forget and hopefully I get it. Take a little
- 30:08Speaker 5: piece of turf home again, maybe a piece a little
- 30:11Speaker 5: my locker home or something, you know, because there's so
- 30:14Speaker 5: many memories in there, and so I'll just take it in,
- 30:16Speaker 5: Just take it all in.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I asked Tray what he's gonna do, and he said, Maddie,
- 30:20Speaker 1: I'll be in the locker room, rolling out my feet
- 30:22Speaker 1: and drinking more.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Real that's a good point. That's funny, that's true.
- 30:29Speaker 1: How do you balance taking those moments in and making
- 30:33Speaker 1: sure you reflect on all your seasons here, but still
- 30:36Speaker 1: knowing we have a game to win, sure we want
- 30:38Speaker 1: to go out the right way.
- 30:40Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, I mean that's just part. That's part
- 30:42Speaker 4: of it too, you know.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Being in the moment of the flow of the game,
- 30:46Speaker 5: you know, the flow, the energy of the game, and
- 30:49Speaker 5: then that could be partly taking in you know, all
- 30:52Speaker 5: the memories, you know, bring game of you know, all
- 30:55Speaker 5: the plays that you made here.
- 30:57Speaker 4: All the you know, the.
- 30:58Speaker 5: The good, the then different, and you know, putting it
- 31:02Speaker 5: into this this last game you know, here at high Mark, right,
- 31:05Speaker 5: And so I think it's all just part of the moments.
- 31:08Speaker 5: You know, you take some time in the pregame to
- 31:10Speaker 5: take in you know, the last little bit here at
- 31:12Speaker 5: high Mark, and then you know, when you're in the game,
- 31:14Speaker 5: that's exactly what it is. You're in the game, You're
- 31:16Speaker 5: in the flow, you're in the rhythm, and you enjoy
- 31:20Speaker 5: being in it.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Right, That's that's all there is.
- 31:23Speaker 5: You know, we get to just be in the game
- 31:24Speaker 5: and then the flow, you know, because when it's over,
- 31:27Speaker 5: it'll go by fast, and you know you don't want
- 31:29Speaker 5: to look back and wish you could have enjoyed it
- 31:32Speaker 5: even more, Right, so, just being in it and enjoying
- 31:34Speaker 5: it for what it is.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I'm sure Bill's Mafia is going to enjoy the moment.
- 31:39Speaker 1: They have a lot to be thankful for everything that
- 31:41Speaker 1: you guys have brought them in the last eight seasons
- 31:44Speaker 1: since you've been here. Appreciate the time, PO.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Thank you so much. I appreciate you. We'll see you
- 31:49Speaker 4: guys on Sunday.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It's the final game at high Mark Stadium. The Bills
- 31:52Speaker 1: are closing up shop at the current high Mark Stadium
- 31:56Speaker 1: and moving across the street to the new high Mark
- 31:58Speaker 1: Stadium for the Toy twenty six seasons. So many memories.
- 32:03Speaker 1: It's been fifty three years in that stadium.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Trade three, man, that's crazy.
- 32:08Speaker 1: You've been a part of a bunch of important ones.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Too over fifty three years. Think about how many like
- 32:15Speaker 3: great players have been through.
- 32:17Speaker 1: That walked through those doors, had meaningful games.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Big time plays. Fifty three years is a long time.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I was just talking about the AFC Championship game that
- 32:28Speaker 1: happened in rich Stadium. It was called when the Bills
- 32:33Speaker 1: beat the LA Raiders to go to their first Super
- 32:36Speaker 1: Bowl fifty one to three nineteen ninety one. I believe
- 32:40Speaker 1: that game was fifty one to three.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Fifty one to three. The business had the air raid
- 32:45Speaker 2: offense that day.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they did. That's there playing the K gun too.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Jim Kelly Thomas, see I.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Bruce Smith, Nato.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Cans being there.
- 33:02Speaker 1: There's a there's a good bunch I'm missing Andre Yep,
- 33:06Speaker 1: Steve Tasker, Darryl Tally tally, Oh.
- 33:11Speaker 3: So many, so many. I just be looking.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I'll be looking at all the banners.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Yeah, they need to put me up there.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Man, Okay, since it's the final game, what are you
- 33:23Speaker 1: going to do to really enjoy the moment?
- 33:27Speaker 3: Usually I don't go out for pregame warm ups?
- 33:31Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 33:31Speaker 2: I just be sitting at my locker just thinking. No,
- 33:34Speaker 2: rolling out my feet. It's like the I get it.
- 33:38Speaker 1: It's like a thirty minute process to roll out the feet.
- 33:42Speaker 3: I probably rolled my feet out for forty five minutes.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, she's the note at the bottom because
- 33:47Speaker 2: of the cleats.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I really like. I just be sitting in my locker
- 33:50Speaker 3: rolling and drinking orange juice. Like I'm not going I'm
- 33:54Speaker 3: not going to warm.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Up to cramp your feet again.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Go back in, take a shower, put all my stuff in,
- 34:02Speaker 2: go back and warm up again with the team. Come
- 34:04Speaker 2: back in, do the announcement. You gotta get warm again.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I'm not doing that. I've learned over the years. Right there,
- 34:12Speaker 2: you warm up one time and only one time on.
- 34:16Speaker 3: It Like that's it.
- 34:17Speaker 1: That's what you need.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Because I'm gonna treat the game like practice, like for practice.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I want up once and I do this, that feet out,
- 34:23Speaker 2: getting a hot tub, I do all that. But I'm
- 34:26Speaker 2: not going out there putting the band, running dB drills,
- 34:31Speaker 2: break it. I'm gonna be breaking back and breaking all game.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I'm not going out there, dude, no extra like. I'm
- 34:36Speaker 2: not doing any It's it's called for me to conserve
- 34:40Speaker 2: the energy. It's a long game. I gotta do more
- 34:44Speaker 2: running than anybody on the field. Yes, you do, because
- 34:46Speaker 2: they can send me on a seventy yard go ball there,
- 34:50Speaker 2: you go, go out through the island.
- 34:52Speaker 1: They stride for striding, and I gotta.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Run back down and get to play call again and
- 34:56Speaker 2: line back up. So no, I'm not doing that extra.
- 34:59Speaker 2: So yeah, I might go out just take a view
- 35:02Speaker 2: of the stadium. What I mean, take take me a
- 35:04Speaker 2: little piece of the of the turf or something, you know.
- 35:07Speaker 2: But other than I'm not gonna do nothing out of
- 35:10Speaker 2: the ordinary because I know it's probably gonna be cold,
- 35:12Speaker 2: it's gonna ben.
- 35:15Speaker 1: It's gonna be January. I think it's safe to say
- 35:17Speaker 1: it's gonna be cold.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Not doing nothing out the ordinary, but we're gonna look
- 35:21Speaker 2: good this week though, I'm telling you that, why.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Are you gonna look good red helmets.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Boy man, we've been teasing it for years, though.
- 35:29Speaker 1: How pumped are you?
- 35:30Speaker 3: I'm ready? I use to not a guy that swagg
- 35:33Speaker 3: on my uniform this week. I might try to come
- 35:35Speaker 3: with some swags.
- 35:36Speaker 1: What swag? Are we gonna add.
- 35:39Speaker 3: A couple of bands? You know? I might some colorful cleats,
- 35:43Speaker 3: right and blue or something.
- 35:45Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 35:45Speaker 3: I might go blue, blue and red, like I might
- 35:49Speaker 3: just be fested.
- 35:49Speaker 1: I'm finli fested red helmets. You're pumped to wear them.
- 35:53Speaker 1: When it comes to uniforms, what do you get most
- 35:56Speaker 1: excited about? Is it the helmets? Is it the color uniform?
- 36:00Speaker 1: Do you geek out about any of that stuff?
- 36:02Speaker 3: My favorite combo, honestly, it's the blue on blue.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I just love how the blue looks, and like the
- 36:08Speaker 2: It's the difference of the texture of the pants too.
- 36:11Speaker 3: When you wear the white pants, they're more loose. They're loose.
- 36:13Speaker 3: They're looser, and.
- 36:15Speaker 2: You want something that's kind of gonna stick on you,
- 36:18Speaker 2: and you know when it gets loose, like, you don't
- 36:20Speaker 2: want all that.
- 36:20Speaker 1: You want something that's tighten so aerodynamic.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Yes, the loose, I mean I don't like the loose
- 36:27Speaker 2: baggy look unless I'm wearing my clothes. But on the uniform,
- 36:30Speaker 2: I need everything. I try to wear as least clothes
- 36:33Speaker 2: as possible. Like I just put my pants on and
- 36:36Speaker 2: just go like that's it, vasoline, Like I said, I
- 36:41Speaker 2: always say, vacline. Put my that's it. Like I'm not
- 36:45Speaker 2: too but this week favorite part of the uniform, like
- 36:51Speaker 2: the jerk. The jerseys gotta fit right, Like I've went
- 36:55Speaker 2: to this new look which is like a looser sleeve.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Now so I can like stretch my arms. Oh yeah,
- 37:01Speaker 3: something that I wish I would have known the past
- 37:04Speaker 3: nine years.
- 37:04Speaker 1: No time like the present like that.
- 37:07Speaker 3: But now I see everybody winning. Yeah, because like you
- 37:11Speaker 3: can actually like move your flap your wings.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I do all everything I won't do like, but
- 37:17Speaker 2: I just think like that that new look on the jersey,
- 37:20Speaker 2: Like I like that. So every time people been exing
- 37:23Speaker 2: for my jersey this year.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Can't do it, brother, No, gotta keep it, gotta keep it.
- 37:27Speaker 1: It works for me. Man working final game in high
- 37:30Speaker 1: Mark Stadium. You've played in some memorable, memorable games in
- 37:33Speaker 1: high Mark Stadium. What's your favorite game?
- 37:40Speaker 3: Twenty nineteen Miami Dolphins. I don't know the date. Middle
- 37:45Speaker 3: of the seventh Yeah. Seven, Yeah, I had.
- 37:49Speaker 2: A pick forced fumble you see attackle for loss? Uh
- 37:57Speaker 2: what else we.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Have five times?
- 37:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 37:59Speaker 3: See defensive player of the week that week.
- 38:03Speaker 1: So that's he was getting crowned the honors.
- 38:06Speaker 5: Yep.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I had to be a little selfience on this. You said,
- 38:08Speaker 2: what was my favorite game? So, yes, we are we
- 38:11Speaker 2: have games. That was probably a little bit more funner, but.
- 38:14Speaker 1: You were making plays.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I want to play in the game. I want to remember.
- 38:17Speaker 2: So yeah October you say what so will be October nineteen.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Let me get a guess October nineteen.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Okay, you're gonna get a guest.
- 38:26Speaker 3: That's my favorite game though we had to already.
- 38:29Speaker 1: On October twentieth.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Ah, one day.
- 38:32Speaker 1: One day, good job, man, I was twenty nineteen.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that was my favorite game. D Dolphins were they
- 38:40Speaker 2: didn't have a win at that point. They were trying
- 38:42Speaker 2: to get a win against us. They wouldn't have been
- 38:44Speaker 2: a good look.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Oh and six. After that game, man, they played five
- 38:51Speaker 1: and one.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I think uh Ryan Fitzpatrick quarterback.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Offen See throwing dimes, throwing dimes, I would say that one.
- 38:59Speaker 1: That one.
- 39:01Speaker 3: You think you mentioned one? Well, yeah, the Patriots.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Playoff game scored on every drive.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Michael the probably the best pick I ever seen. He
- 39:11Speaker 2: didn't even see the ball.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Was talking about that the other God.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Every time I see that play, Like, I just I remember,
- 39:19Speaker 3: like where I was, Like when it happened, Where were you?
- 39:22Speaker 3: I was in the I was in the in the suite,
- 39:25Speaker 3: you were in the injury. Yeah, I was. You know
- 39:28Speaker 3: I was in it. You know what I mean? I was.
- 39:30Speaker 2: You know your ball was on the crutches at that point,
- 39:32Speaker 2: you know, Oh yeah, just seeing the play. They ran
- 39:37Speaker 2: the double move and Levi was actually in great position
- 39:41Speaker 2: once he talked back up, but he didn't even see Micah.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Like Michael made probably one of the best like breaks
- 39:48Speaker 2: I've seen the safety make, like not culting the feel
- 39:50Speaker 2: and half and just the quarterback had no idea that
- 39:52Speaker 2: he was gonna be there, Like he just made an
- 39:55Speaker 2: incredible play. Like if you guys see that play, just
- 39:58Speaker 2: go rewind it and just why just watch it again.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Just watch the beauty of that safety play, like how
- 40:04Speaker 2: he was able to read the quarterback, not cut the
- 40:07Speaker 2: field and half vertical separation and break on the ball.
- 40:10Speaker 2: It actually make the play that he wasn't supposed to
- 40:14Speaker 2: make textbook.
- 40:16Speaker 3: I mean, no, you can't say he wrote his own book. Yes, okay,
- 40:19Speaker 3: can't nobody do it. Nobody can't do that, Like nobody
- 40:23Speaker 3: has Michael.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Hyde has his own book.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Yes.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Sean mcderm was talking about the interception yesterday to media
- 40:29Speaker 1: and he said, it was a ball that Micah came
- 40:32Speaker 1: down with, but my view of the interception was blocked,
- 40:36Speaker 1: so I didn't think he had it. And then everybody
- 40:39Speaker 1: who was upstairs in the box was talking to me
- 40:42Speaker 1: on the headset saying, he's got it, he's got it,
- 40:44Speaker 1: He's got it. Mcdurrm was like, that was one of
- 40:46Speaker 1: the best interceptions.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Like every time I see it, Like I said, like,
- 40:49Speaker 2: it's just like you just can't explain like as a coach,
- 40:53Speaker 2: like it's certain things like you like, okay, in this coverage,
- 40:56Speaker 2: you're supposed to be here to make this, I mean,
- 41:00Speaker 2: and if you don't, like this is not your responsibility.
- 41:03Speaker 2: You know, he did everything like it's supposed to go.
- 41:07Speaker 2: But he just made the play like in the scheme,
- 41:11Speaker 2: like he don't supposed to make that play. But if
- 41:13Speaker 2: you have a like phenomenal player like you got a.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Chance he could break out of it.
- 41:19Speaker 3: He got a chance.
- 41:20Speaker 2: But this guy, like he just made a routine like
- 41:24Speaker 2: he always made those plays, like like I would always say,
- 41:28Speaker 2: like he got the best.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Hands in the defense, like a center fielder and a
- 41:32Speaker 1: baseball Yeah.
- 41:33Speaker 3: He almost that game. He almost returned to point too
- 41:37Speaker 3: in it.
- 41:37Speaker 1: And in the Dolphins game he did the game that
- 41:40Speaker 1: you were talking about.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, Well it was a it was a ah.
- 41:46Speaker 1: It was a kickoff return.
- 41:47Speaker 3: They tried to do a.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Ha a forty five yard kick return in the fourth
- 41:52Speaker 1: quarter with a minute and thirty left.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Coach Coach mcdermin didn't want him to return the kick either.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I remember that, yes, because I remember after that I
- 42:05Speaker 1: would have told him to go down.
- 42:08Speaker 3: You didn't get to tut down. Did you see the highlight?
- 42:10Speaker 3: Did you see how how he jumped he did he
- 42:12Speaker 3: like did a spin move. Yeah, he dunked the basketball.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Like we talk a lot about Mike Heyde on this podcast.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Well, I was gonna FaceTime. I was gonna FaceTime. Get
- 42:27Speaker 3: him on the pod next time.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Here's what we're wrapping on. Does Tredavious White have any
- 42:33Speaker 1: New Year's resolutions?
- 42:34Speaker 3: Oh? I wish you would have.
- 42:36Speaker 2: You know what, This year, I'm gonna focus on, I'm
- 42:42Speaker 2: gonna be very intentional about.
- 42:46Speaker 3: You know what.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I'm normally a guy that's not really organized. So I
- 42:52Speaker 2: gotta read a New Year's resolution this on I'm gonna do.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I'm gonna fold my clothes my closet like I'm gonna
- 43:01Speaker 2: get my closet color coordinated.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Wow, So I would think.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I think that's something good that I could do because
- 43:07Speaker 2: everything else I feel like I'm doing it. You know,
- 43:11Speaker 2: I'm good mentally spiritually, so I'm good there. This is
- 43:16Speaker 2: this thing on my bucket. This because I washed a
- 43:18Speaker 2: lot of clothes. Because if I'm not leaving home, I
- 43:23Speaker 2: probably take three showers, like just by staying at home,
- 43:25Speaker 2: like in a day.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Yes, if I and it's not even leaving, I wake up.
- 43:31Speaker 1: It's just part of your routine.
- 43:32Speaker 2: But it's just like if I'm walking around, I just
- 43:34Speaker 2: feel like you're sweaty, Like I gotta take a shower.
- 43:41Speaker 2: So I wash a lot, like a lot of clothes,
- 43:44Speaker 2: get free sizing. You see the sweatshirt, it's being washed,
- 43:47Speaker 2: so it's turning white.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Yep.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I didn't bring many clothes up here, as you can
- 43:51Speaker 2: see you as you can tell many clothes when I
- 43:53Speaker 2: came to Buffalo. I I got like five pair of
- 43:57Speaker 2: black sweats and I got off of Amazon that I
- 43:59Speaker 2: wear routine.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Yeah we know.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I got two pair of black Supreme Sweats, Supreme Navy.
- 44:06Speaker 1: We're rocking people, We're not rocking the.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Only black you know what I'm saying. I got one
- 44:11Speaker 3: pair of these, and I got a pair of Kelly
- 44:13Speaker 3: Green ones. So that's four. So I got like nine
- 44:16Speaker 3: and I got a couple of other sweats.
- 44:17Speaker 2: But like I've been rotating. I did a great job
- 44:20Speaker 2: this year of rotating, maybe like two and a half
- 44:24Speaker 2: weeks of clothes a whole year.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Wow. Hey, when you talking.
- 44:30Speaker 1: About living on a budget like Trey White started going on,
- 44:33Speaker 1: I mean.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Talking about being frugal and not you.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Know, okay, the White way.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Everybody learn to like go a whole year or six
- 44:43Speaker 2: seven months without buying clothes.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Like talk to me, talk to train.
- 44:48Speaker 3: I know how to refrain from all that buying, all
- 44:50Speaker 3: that and post suspended.
- 44:52Speaker 1: So this year we're gonna fold our clothes.
- 44:54Speaker 3: I'm gonna full my clothes, get my closet color coordinated.
- 44:57Speaker 2: And also no, this the one, this one, I get
- 45:02Speaker 2: to get safety pins for my socks because I'm losing
- 45:05Speaker 2: I always lose, like the match of the socks.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Like, so I'm a safety pin every pair of socks
- 45:10Speaker 3: you gonna do that, I'm gonna try not to lose
- 45:12Speaker 3: a pair. I'm gonna try not.
- 45:14Speaker 1: That's where Trey spends his most money is buying new socks.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I get training free. Like, hey, let me get a
- 45:20Speaker 3: pack of old black right here? Come on, what I'm
- 45:25Speaker 3: not paying for?
- 45:26Speaker 2: Man, this one thing you're gonna learn, I ain't paying for.
- 45:28Speaker 2: If it's free, it's for me. If I gotta pay,
- 45:32Speaker 2: it's gonna stay. I'm telling you now, I'm not paying
- 45:35Speaker 2: for nothing.
- 45:36Speaker 3: That I've been in Buffalo this my eight year.
- 45:38Speaker 2: I probably I ain't paid for them drinks I get
- 45:42Speaker 2: like Gatorade, water, food, like rehaba.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Like I'm getting everything for free. While much that I'm
- 45:51Speaker 3: paying and.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Go back in life and grow up and being an
- 45:53Speaker 1: NFL player.
- 45:54Speaker 3: I'm saying you in the cafeteria you need for free.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Don't be telling you you got to eat people for all.
- 45:59Speaker 1: You eat for free to y'all, I don't get my
- 46:01Speaker 1: socks for free.
- 46:02Speaker 2: I mean you come in the train in the equipment room. Hey, look, Jeff,
- 46:06Speaker 2: I'm about to go in the workout.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Can I get socks? They got? They got? I didn't
- 46:14Speaker 3: hit him for a pack of a pack a week
- 46:17Speaker 3: and they be running away like safety. I got a
- 46:19Speaker 3: safety pan.
- 46:20Speaker 1: We got a safety pin of socks. Okay, that's the
- 46:23Speaker 1: energy that we're taking into the New year.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Trade.
- 46:25Speaker 1: We love it.
- 46:27Speaker 3: The thing we always asking me these questions. I don't
- 46:30Speaker 3: never get her answers.
- 46:31Speaker 4: You know, so.
- 46:34Speaker 3: What do you think? You didn't think about anything?
- 46:35Speaker 1: Your knew me. I didn't think about it. I put
- 46:38Speaker 1: I put you. I put you on the spot, so
- 46:40Speaker 1: you can put me on the spot. Something I will say.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Can I say something that I've done in the past
- 46:46Speaker 1: that I always feel like I need to do a
- 46:47Speaker 1: better job with. So we say that we're going to
- 46:50Speaker 1: do it. And maybe it's just we're building on it
- 46:52Speaker 1: each year. We're getting a little bit better. It's being
- 46:56Speaker 1: good at reaching out to my friends throughout the year,
- 46:58Speaker 1: friends who don't live in Buffalo. Hello, you're really good
- 47:01Speaker 1: at picking up the phone and calling people. Oh yeah,
- 47:04Speaker 1: you said you're always on the phone with people. I
- 47:07Speaker 1: want to do a better job of checking in with
- 47:09Speaker 1: people and making sure they're doing okay and just connecting.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Why you think that you don't do a great job
- 47:15Speaker 3: with it.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I think I probably don't do a great job with
- 47:18Speaker 1: it because I'm at work till five, six seven, depending
- 47:23Speaker 1: on the day what time you get here. We get
- 47:25Speaker 1: here about nine, so you're here most of the day,
- 47:29Speaker 1: and then I try and get a workout in after work.
- 47:31Speaker 1: If I don't leave too late hours. Then I'm getting
- 47:33Speaker 1: home around eight. I'm helping cooking dinner. Then it's nine.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I want to sit and watch like thirty minutes TV,
