Sahmyook’s New Open Major for Intl Students | South Korea News
Sahmyook University is launching a groundbreaking open major program for international students starting in fall 2026, letting first-years explore academics without locking into a major—focusing instead on language, culture, and personalized guidance. By year two, students choose their track (Korean or English) and major, with English-track options limited to six departments. The university aims to grow its international student body from 700 to 2,000 over the next two years, making this program a key step toward global expansion.
