- 0:28Hey everybody good. Morning and it's day four of
- 0:32some food. For thought so today.
- 0:36This is a question I get asked a lot of, you know, when am I
- 0:39going to not have to have my emotion be so important to pay
- 0:43attention to in my thoughts and all of this?
- 0:45Like, when am I going to get past this?
- 0:46I've been doing this for a while.
- 0:47I should be past this already. Well, here's the kicker.
- 0:50Today's food for thought. Here it is.
- 0:52You will never reach a place where you will not need to be
- 0:56diligent about. You're paying attention to your
- 0:58thought and your emotion. It's not going to happen because
- 1:02the world we live in is constant and ever expanding, ever moving
- 1:08and this it's ever changing and this is the reason why we need
- 1:11to constantly pay attention to it because as long as we are
- 1:14here. And we?
- 1:15Are conscious we are going to have to pay attention to it now
- 1:19I know that sounds like a really big like it's never going to get
- 1:24easier. No it's not It's not going to
- 1:25get easier. You will get easier as you do
- 1:28it, and you get the more you pay attention to it, the easier and
- 1:31easier it will become. But in the process.
- 1:34Of it it is. Something you have to recognize
- 1:38is a constant. It never goes away.
- 1:41It's one of the reasons why I myself have a coach, because we
- 1:44have no choice if we want to be able to to get better and expand
- 1:49fully create that expansion. That we're constantly.
- 1:52Seeking and looking for then we have to recognize.
- 1:55That this is a. Never ending process.
- 1:57It's a. Never ending.
- 1:58Process my friends. And no matter how much.
- 2:01Time we. Spend.
- 2:02Doing it no matter how much time we.
- 2:04Spend. Doing it we will always.
- 2:06Find ourselves looping back to the.
- 2:07Questions. At hand, which are presented to
- 2:11us regularly. Every day.
- 2:13How am I going to respond to this?
- 2:15How am I going to feel about this?
- 2:17And we all have this hardwiring of things that have happened in
- 2:20our lives that cause us to react or instead of respond, we have
- 2:26to choose how we want to be. It is constant.
- 2:29And it's not just for you, it's for all of us.
- 2:31I have the same issues. I mean, if you have any human
- 2:37condition at all that you are living in, you are going to have
- 2:40those buttons that get pushed. And I am no different.
- 2:45Having a teenage son, a daughter, an older daughter
- 2:49who's married and who's having a child, having a husband, having
- 2:53animals. A farm, I mean.
- 2:55There are days when I walk out there and I'm thinking, OK,
- 2:58everything's going to be great. And I find that a chicken has
- 3:00been killed by something. And then my emotions are right
- 3:04there immediately and I go right down a rabbit hole crying
- 3:08because I lost an animal. And I'm thinking, all I'm
- 3:13thinking about is. Oh my gosh, how could?
- 3:15I have. Let this happen and I feel.
- 3:17So responsible. And overwhelmed.
- 3:19With it and some people, I think most of my audience understands
- 3:24that emotion coming from it. And there are some people in the
- 3:28world though that don't. They're like, well, it's just an
- 3:30animal, it's just a chicken, It's just whatever.
- 3:32But to me, no, they're a family. They're part of this family and
- 3:36I don't want anything to happen to them ever.
- 3:38So I have to, I have to reckon with the fact that if I'm going
- 3:43to do what I say I want to do and have this farm, I have to
- 3:47realize it comes with despair. There is part of it that is
- 3:51despair and I will experience it and I know that and it doesn't
- 3:56make me thrilled. I'll be honest with you, that
- 3:58part does not make me thrilled. It's very hard, but I have to
- 4:01recognize it's all part of the process.
- 4:04It's and, and me staying in that state of overwhelmed sadness and
- 4:10despair is not going to help me get out there and figure out
- 4:13what do I need to do to protect the other chickens?
- 4:16What do I need to do to take on the shift in my own state?
- 4:19What if I've got a call coming up?
- 4:20I can't go into it, you know, hysterical and not OK.
- 4:25So it is a constant process and beating yourself up for the
- 4:30process of needing to go back and look at things again.
- 4:34Never ever, ever, ever, ever works.
- 4:36This is one of the things that was the hardest for me to
- 4:40understand. It is going to take place my
- 4:44whole life. This is not a grocery shopping
- 4:46list to pick out and take and go to Costco and then say, oh Yep,
- 4:51I got everything on the list. I'm done.
- 4:53No, this is like laundry. It never goes away.
- 4:56It's always present. And you have to figure out how
- 4:59you're going to not be aggravated with it and you're
- 5:02going to do it and find different ways to see it.
- 5:05And you're going to say this is just part of life and this is
- 5:08what I'm learning. Because the moment you do that,
- 5:11everything changes. And accepting those things is is
- 5:15part of that growth process. So today, that's what it's.
- 5:20All about. The food for thought, accepting
- 5:22the process and looking at it and saying this is a journey.
- 5:26All right my friends, I hope you have a blessed day and I will
- 5:29see you all tomorrow. Bye.
