- 0:01Cheers to Strike Gum. We're back, baby.
- 0:10Warehouse move complete.
- 0:13Now we're just We're back. We're filling
- 0:16orders.
- 0:26We really appreciate how patient
- 0:28everyone's been with us. how cool
- 0:29they've been. You know, again, we have a
- 0:32lot of pride in being like a small
- 0:34business veteranowned.
- 0:37What that means,
- 0:39uh it doesn't take much to disrupt us,
- 0:41you know.
- 0:54So,
- 0:55that's what we're doing. If you look in
- 0:57the description, we got
- 1:00We'll make up a make up a classic a
- 1:03classic strike gum ad.
- 1:11There you go.
- 1:20I know. I'm working on it.
- 1:30We're doing some really high quality
- 1:31strike gun copy here.
- 1:40There go.
- 1:51Okay, we got it. We're doing promo code
- 1:53Halloween 20 for 20% off, guys.
- 1:59I know. I know you Europeans are like,
- 2:01"What the [ __ ] is Halloween?" Listen,
- 2:03Halloween slaps, guys. All right, I'll
- 2:05say this. If you have young kids,
- 2:07Halloween is delightful.
- 2:11Young kids love Halloween. My
- 2:13one-year-old was like, "Yo,
- 2:19has a strike up nuclear?" It is not.
- 2:22There you go. Look at this. Look at this
- 2:24promo code.
- 2:29People are like, "Oh, you're chewing
- 2:30gum. Why could I be chewing gum?" Cuz
- 2:34Strike Gum is back, baby.
- 2:48Yeah, we're going to talk about how
- 2:49actually this is way bad.
- 2:54Yeah, my one-year-old was like, "Oh my
- 2:56god, I dress up in a crazy outfit. I get
- 2:59carded around. I see people in other
- 3:01crazy outfits that I can say hi to." And
- 3:03then I walk up to doors and greet people
- 3:05and get candy. They're like, "I love
- 3:06it."
- 3:08I did not know that all of Europe
- 3:09celebrated Halloween. I literally did
- 3:11not know that. I thought it was a a
- 3:12nonsense American holiday.
- 3:25Huh.
- 3:27I mean, I knew it kind of had like some
- 3:28some like pagan Celtic kind of roots,
- 3:32but I didn't think is it is it
- 3:35celebrated like in the
- 3:38like in the manner
- 3:42that that a that an American would like
- 3:44dressing up in costumes and [ __ ]
- 4:07Um, no, we're going to talk about it.
- 4:08It's a
- 4:11It's a little clickbaity. I acknowledge
- 4:14that. But I've been getting so much
- 4:15apocalypse clickbait.
- 4:18Like the algorithm has been just feeding
- 4:19me like every government says to
- 4:21stockpile supplies. And listen,
- 4:25governments have said that citizens
- 4:26should stockpile supplies of essential
- 4:28services
- 4:29for at least the last 25 years. Like
- 4:32FIMO routinely says, "Hey man, you
- 4:34should have two weeks of medications and
- 4:36food and water." And the truth is
- 4:41it's just common sense.
- 4:43Like again in our house we just had
- 4:46a water mane break, right? And so our
- 4:49house didn't have any running water.
- 4:54Again, it was resolved pretty quickly.
- 4:56But when you have young kids, you're
- 4:58like, "Listen, we got to brush our
- 4:59teeth. We got to make food. We got to
- 5:01have safe water to drink."
- 5:04So,
- 5:07you know, having an emergency supply of
- 5:10portable water was like pretty
- 5:11important.
- 5:25Oh, people are like, I'm mad about the
- 5:26the gum. It's strike gum, guys. I needed
- 5:29to energize. Okay, I get it. Um I'm I'm
- 5:33I you know.
- 5:40All right, let's talk about it. What
- 5:42else are we doing? Nothing.
- 5:53Residents across Ukraine and Russia are
- 5:55reporting that their phone alerts are
- 5:58going crazy with emergency alerts of
- 6:01nuclear attacks, chemical attacks,
- 6:03terror attacks, and more. What's really
- 6:06going on? And more importantly, why is
- 6:09this a troubling port end of things to
- 6:13come? Take take a look. So, this is a
- 6:16this is a story that isn't getting a
- 6:18fraction of the play that it deserves.
- 6:20Why? Because Ukraine and Russia both
- 6:23have robust air raid alert systems that
- 6:25actually push right to your phone. I've
- 6:27actually gotten them uh on my phone and
- 6:29they're in a bunch of different
- 6:30languages. I think they actually are
- 6:31translated to the phone's native app.
- 6:33So, mine said in English, "Hey, extreme
- 6:35danger alert. Uh, drone strike
- 6:38incoming." All right. Drone a missile
- 6:39attack incoming. Seek shelter
- 6:41immediately. Uh, I literally have a
- 6:42screenshot of it. Uh, I that I obviously
- 6:44did not send to my wife because I'm not
- 6:47crazy. But the point is is that these
- 6:49are robust systems that have been
- 6:51developed and are, you know, used on a
- 6:53daily basis in Ukraine and now in
- 6:56Russia. So it is troubling then that so
- 6:59many of the uh individuals in these
- 7:03countries are reporting that their air
- 7:06raid alert systems are just sort of
- 7:08blasting out alerts. You can see this
- 7:11one in English uh saying alert street
- 7:14fighting alert there are street fighting
- 7:15in Kev don't go outside alert chemical
- 7:17threat right you can see they all happen
- 7:18within about a few minutes of each other
- 7:20chemical attack in Kev uh you could see
- 7:23radiation hazard radiation hazard alert
- 7:24in Kev don't go outside you know and and
- 7:28obviously if you got all of those alerts
- 7:30simultaneously
- 7:32you wouldn't probably understand this to
- 7:34be some kind of error within the system
- 7:36but I want to talk for a second about
- 7:39sort of the the the the the the dangers
- 7:41here that yes, these systems were both
- 7:46hacked almost simultaneously, right?
- 7:48Russia's air raid alert system was also
- 7:50hacked in the early hours of November
- 7:512nd. Ukraine's air raid alert system
- 7:53hacked late November 1st, literally
- 7:55probably within uh hours, even minutes
- 7:58of each other. Now, before we talk about
- 8:00what the dangerous implication of this
- 8:02is and why this sort of thing keeps me
- 8:03up at night, I wanted to mention, guys,
- 8:05on a much less uh dire note, that if
- 8:07you're looking for a a burst of energy,
- 8:09an explosion of energy, if you will. Um,
- 8:12you don't need something that's going to
- 8:14irradiate you. You don't have to go
- 8:15Robert Oppenheimer. You can instead just
- 8:17get your strike gum, right? 90
- 8:19milligrams of caffeine in every piece.
- 8:21It's veteranowned. It's made in the USA.
- 8:23And of course, our our we have completed
- 8:26our warehouse move, meaning that
- 8:28fulfillment is back on its usual
- 8:29timetable. And as a thank you, we're
- 8:31doing a Halloween sale. Yes, Halloween
- 8:33already happened, but use promo code
- 8:34Halloween 20 and get 20% off your order.
- 8:37Just click the link down there in the
- 8:39description. Get your strike gum restock
- 8:41because the holidays are here. And
- 8:43listen, I'm I I'm a dad to two young
- 8:46kids. I need all the energy I can get to
- 8:48make it through the holidays, okay? And
- 8:49I know you do, too. So,
- 8:52here's what I want to point out
- 8:54is that
- 8:57these kinds of hacks are unbelievably
- 9:02dangerous.
- 9:04Why? Because
- 9:06there is real fear if you can. Now, I
- 9:10telling Ukraine, "Hey, nuclear alert
- 9:12incoming is scary, but what Ukraine
- 9:14doesn't have is the ability to respond."
- 9:17Ukraine doesn't have its own nuclear
- 9:19arsenal anymore, but Russia does. And so
- 9:23what would have happened if the Russian
- 9:26government, if Russian government
- 9:27employees received alerts on their
- 9:29phones that said nuclear strike
- 9:32incoming? Well, official Russian
- 9:34doctrine is that if someone nukes
- 9:37Russia, Russia fires its nuclear weapons
- 9:40in response. It's mutually assured
- 9:42destruction. America has the same
- 9:43policy.
- 9:45And so
- 9:47now obviously the cell phone is not the
- 9:50normal method of communication
- 9:53for official orders of this nature. The
- 9:56problem of course is that
- 9:58especially within Russia there are
- 10:00oftentimes dead men protocols where if
- 10:03someone gets where if if in the absence
- 10:06of orders if the Kremlin is reduced to
- 10:09glass some operators may have
- 10:13instructions that listen if you can't
- 10:14raise anyone at the Kremlin assume they
- 10:17have all been nuked and you are told to
- 10:19launch immediately right and that is a
- 10:23pretty scary prospect but It's part of
- 10:25the mutually assured destruction
- 10:26strategy to ensure because part of what
- 10:29keeps nuclear weapons safe is the idea
- 10:33that that the launch is extremely
- 10:36credible and that there's no strategy
- 10:38that in the case of the Russians,
- 10:41there's no strategy the Chinese or
- 10:42Americans could pursue that would result
- 10:45in a victory. Right? Even if you were to
- 10:48flatten Keev and kill every single
- 10:50decision maker, the nukes would just
- 10:51launch on their own.
- 10:53The danger is that if a nuclear weapons
- 10:57operator in Russia were to have received
- 10:59this cell phone alert and then be unable
- 11:01to raise key to verify its authenticity
- 11:04for even a an an uninteresting reason, a
- 11:09severed phone line or something, that
- 11:12person might chose choose to actually
- 11:14launch a nuclear strike. And obviously
- 11:16if one person launches a nuclear strike,
- 11:19the US by doctrine would respond.
- 11:21Chinese would by doctrine respond, you
- 11:23could potentially have a catastrophic
- 11:25event. Now, what worries me is you got
- 11:28to ask who's behind this. And I think
- 11:30the answer is that we don't really know
- 11:32because it doesn't serve anyone's
- 11:34interest, right? Blasting the the
- 11:36emergency alert system for Keefe,
- 11:38blasting the emergency alert system for
- 11:39Moscow doesn't really help anybody that
- 11:41I can discern.
- 11:43It doesn't serve the interests of the
- 11:45Russians or the Ukrainians or the
- 11:47Americans or the Chinese or the Bellar
- 11:48Russians. There's almost nobody that was
- 11:50served by this hack. That's why I think
- 11:53it may actually just be a rando. Just a
- 11:56guy or some kid, some teenager in
- 11:59Ukraine or Russia just [ __ ] off. But
- 12:02obviously
- 12:04to do to hack both systems within hours
- 12:06of each other, that looks like the acts
- 12:08of a professional level hacker. But
- 12:11those things are not mutually exclusive
- 12:12anymore. That's the fear is that you can
- 12:15be a 16-year-old in Kev and if you can
- 12:18or or or in in Yakarenburg
- 12:23and if you can get access to a
- 12:25jailbroken AI model that's sufficiently
- 12:27powerful, you could potentially hack
- 12:30into both of those systems, you could
- 12:32have done this. You could have found
- 12:34that zero day exploit. Maybe they even
- 12:36use the same software, something in the
- 12:38towers or the providers or or or
- 12:39something. You don't even need to be an
- 12:41expert as long as the AI itself is the
- 12:44expert. And that the fear that I have is
- 12:48that you're going to see these kinds of
- 12:50things escalate. You're going to see the
- 12:52ability of people with no real
- 12:54meaningful objective or maybe not even a
- 12:57sense of an objective
- 12:59begin to hack into things, begin to hack
- 13:01in ways that you would only really see
- 13:03nation states do. Right? When North
- 13:05Korea hacks, part of the thing that's
- 13:07that's I don't want to say good, but
- 13:08part of the thing that's reassuring,
- 13:10right, you look at, for example, the uh
- 13:12Binance hack, right, that a lot of
- 13:14people think was done by North Korea,
- 13:18right? 6.4 billion cryps in
- 13:20cryptocurrency stolen by the South North
- 13:24Korean state sponsored cyber crime
- 13:25group, Trader Trader.
- 13:27Now, I'm no cryptocurrency fan, but when
- 13:31North Korea does these hacks, it does so
- 13:34to make money. Like, the North Koreans
- 13:37want to make money doing this. But
- 13:39again, a 16-year-old with a jailbroken
- 13:41AI model, he may not give a [ __ ] about
- 13:43making money. He may just want to be an
- 13:45[ __ ] and not think these things
- 13:47through. And that's pretty scary, right?
- 13:49Because again, part of the reason why
- 13:52North Korea doesn't, for example, just
- 13:54fixate on a random American citizen and
- 13:57just torment them endlessly with hacks
- 13:59is because it's not worth it. Like the
- 14:01North Koreans don't care about hacking
- 14:03into your bank account or your life
- 14:04insurance payments in part because it
- 14:06doesn't matter to them.
- 14:08But what happens when you have North
- 14:11Korea's hacking capability in the hands
- 14:14of an of a a 17-year-old anime fan?
- 14:19What are they going to do with that
- 14:20incredible power? Nothing good. And
- 14:23they're not going to think through the
- 14:25the consequences. One of the reasons why
- 14:27this is so
- 14:29troubling is that nuclear weapons are
- 14:33not to be trifled with. This is another
- 14:35story for example that I think I is is
- 14:38Tucker Carlson who by the way guys we
- 14:40should take Tucker Carlson stories with
- 14:42a severe grain of salt. He's been
- 14:44identified as someone who repeats
- 14:46Russian propaganda um with and has
- 14:49repeatedly shown that he has either a a
- 14:51a frightening lack of willingness to
- 14:53like interrogate things that are said or
- 14:56ideas he has. Um but he is a person who
- 14:59really does exert a lot of influence.
- 15:01and he is reporting quote that under
- 15:03pressure from Benjamin Nanya, the Trump
- 15:05administration may be within days of
- 15:06launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The
- 15:08target would be pickaxe mountain where
- 15:09Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian
- 15:11government has restarted its nuclear
- 15:12enrichment program. No conventional
- 15:13weapon in the American arsenal can
- 15:14penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to
- 15:16destroy the tunnels where it's taking
- 15:17place. The only option would be a
- 15:19nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been
- 15:21pushing hard for one. Quote, according
- 15:23to one source, Tucker Carlson, quote, BB
- 15:24calls Trump about it every day. Right?
- 15:28He points out that again uh the
- 15:32Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. He
- 15:34desperately wants a win against Trump.
- 15:37Uh again the
- 15:42there's a whole bunch of theories that
- 15:43he's sort of squeezing people uh trying
- 15:46to again like that there's all sorts of
- 15:49reasons for this to happen. Uh now again
- 15:52I I want to point out that Russia revels
- 15:55in the Iran war and it revels in the
- 15:57United States expending uh the bulk of
- 16:00its military prowess in a useless and
- 16:03ineffective Iran war and creating these
- 16:07rumors or this this this
- 16:10difficult misinformation
- 16:13environment serves Russian interests
- 16:15right regardless of whether or not this
- 16:17is true.
- 16:20Now,
- 16:21uh
- 16:24the
- 16:26the terrifying thing about nuclear
- 16:27weapons is that right now
- 16:31everybody kind of likes the status quo
- 16:34mostly. Why? Because big countries with
- 16:38strong governments, right? namely
- 16:41especially India, uh, China, Russia, uh,
- 16:46the United States, France and Great
- 16:49Britain all possess nuclear arsenals.
- 16:52These are countries, right? You also
- 16:53have some some less than stellar
- 16:55governments with nuclear weapons,
- 16:57Pakistan. Um and then you have a truly
- 17:01difficult to uh ungovernable
- 17:05very enigmatic very eccentric um very
- 17:08bellose country North Korea that also
- 17:10has nuclear weapons
- 17:13but excluding North Korea who was
- 17:16allowed to get nuclear weapons. Um and
- 17:19you should also just keep that in your
- 17:20brain when you hear all this rhetoric
- 17:22about Iran, how Iran can never ever have
- 17:24a nuclear weapon. They are so evil.
- 17:25They're so destructive. and and just
- 17:27bear in mind North Korea basically does
- 17:29almost all the behaviors Iran engages in
- 17:32um and is it was
- 17:36people they got a nuclear weapon and
- 17:38people went oh drat and then moved on
- 17:40with their with their Korea policy and
- 17:43um
- 17:45I I point these things out because the
- 17:46current nuclear environment is one in
- 17:48which a hand a small number of countries
- 17:51have nuclear weapons those countries
- 17:52have stable robust governments that
- 17:54aren't really going anywhere
- 17:57And these countries like it that way.
- 18:00Why? Because nuclear weapons are a great
- 18:02equalizer.
- 18:04Imagine a world in which Iraq had
- 18:06nuclear weapons. Saddam Hussein, if he
- 18:08had them, would have used them in 2003.
- 18:11Right? The Taliban, the Afghan Taliban,
- 18:13if they had nuclear weapons, would have
- 18:14used them in 2001.
- 18:17Muar Gaddafi in Libya in his last
- 18:19moments probably regretted giving up his
- 18:21nuclear weapons program. And that's
- 18:25because they would have represented a
- 18:27ability to block uh American military
- 18:30intervention.
- 18:32And that's true, by the way. Taiwan
- 18:34would love to have nuclear weapons
- 18:36because it would give them the ability
- 18:38to hold Beijing hostage and say, "You
- 18:40will never have your forces land on
- 18:42Taiwanese shores because the moment you
- 18:43do, we will glass Beijing." The reason
- 18:46Taiwan doesn't do that is because the US
- 18:50guarantees them from a conventional
- 18:51perspective.
- 18:54allegedly, supposedly maybe.
- 18:58But you can see how being a big country
- 19:00and having conventional nuclear weapons
- 19:02represents
- 19:03a a tremendous amount of asymmetric
- 19:06leverage that the world's global powers
- 19:09like having. Again, when you look at at
- 19:12the largest countries by GDP, right,
- 19:16you can see actually in fact that
- 19:18nuclear powers feature basically in the
- 19:20top 10 list. You could see here that of
- 19:23the top 10, one, two, three, four, uh,
- 19:26five, six of the, I think, nine
- 19:29nuclearpowered states, nuclear, uh, we
- 19:31nuclear armed states feature in the top
- 19:3410, right? And
- 19:39like, it's not an accident. These are
- 19:41prestige countries that like to be able
- 19:44to use these as kind of decisive uh
- 19:46they're they're they're guaranurs that
- 19:49no one's ever going to try to destroy
- 19:51your government. Again, you can see
- 19:52nuclear countries with nuclear arsenals,
- 19:54United States, Russia, UK, France,
- 19:56China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and
- 19:57North Korea. Um
- 20:02though Israel, it's worth noting has
- 20:04never acknowledged publicly that it
- 20:06possesses nuclear weapons in part
- 20:08because if they did so um US assistance
- 20:11would h US aid to Israel would have to
- 20:14stop immediately because again they are
- 20:16a nonparty to the NPT. So again they're
- 20:20not legally allowed to, right? It would
- 20:22be like us again arming North Korea. Um,
- 20:26and
- 20:28the
- 20:32danger is again that when you have tons
- 20:34of states with nuclear weapons, not only
- 20:36does it sort of create this very
- 20:38asymmetric advantage and you don't want
- 20:40to normalize that, you also have the
- 20:43fact that you know nuclear exchange even
- 20:45in the limited nuclear exchange again
- 20:47between say a Russia and uh Ukraine
- 20:50scenario you would see tens of millions
- 20:52immediate deaths possibly up to a
- 20:54billion in a large scale war, even in a
- 20:56limited war in Europe, you would still
- 20:58be looking at about 10 million
- 21:00casualties plus. Uh these are these
- 21:03would would rate among the most
- 21:06dangerous events ever in human history.
- 21:08And you may think, well, what kind of
- 21:10person would facilitate that? And that's
- 21:12the fear. The fear is that a 14-year-old
- 21:15edge lord with a with a with a strong
- 21:18enough AI system in his control might do
- 21:21this for the lols. Right? Imagine
- 21:24somebody with the morals of a school
- 21:26shooter right in America. Uh uh but
- 21:28instead of having an AR-15, an already
- 21:31frighteningly dangerous weapon in the
- 21:32hands of an unwell young person, they
- 21:35instead had an AI capable of hacking
- 21:38into any number of systems and
- 21:42could create again these sort of events.
- 21:44So, so yes, there is not actually a
- 21:47nuclear attack, but there is a real
- 21:51failure, I think, to appreciate by even
- 21:54the media uh just how dangerous this
- 21:56game is creating again because in the
- 21:59real world, you won't learn about a
- 22:01nuclear attack until the missiles are
- 22:03launched, guys. and you'll have the
- 22:06government and and individuals will
- 22:08likely have like minutes to make these
- 22:10kinds of decisions based on sort of the
- 22:12early warning systems and the speed of
- 22:13of these missiles being launched. It's
- 22:15really scary stuff, guys. It should
- 22:18scare you so much more than it is.
- 22:20Anyway, hit subscribe if you haven't.
- 22:22Thanks to John, Kevin, Michael, Rob,
- 22:24Thomas, William, Al, and all lieutenant
- 22:26here folks. We couldn't do it without
- 22:27you guys.
- 22:30Okay.
- 22:35Oh, I see. We're talking about Elon,
- 22:36guys. You want to talk about Elon? I got
- 22:38an Elon story. A whole big [ __ ] thing
- 22:41about Elon, right?
- 22:49Okay. I saw some some some people make
- 22:52doing some super chats. Let me try to
- 22:54answer your questions here. Uh, okay.
- 22:57Ace Cams, thanks. Claude hack everyone's
- 22:59systems. Make no mistakes. Yeah. Oof. I
- 23:02would trust Acecams uh
- 23:06before I would trust the median internet
- 23:08user. Uh okay, I see somebody else.
- 23:10Wait, I'm going to try to Wait, it's not
- 23:12actually letting me see your message. Uh
- 23:14but I see you. I see you, Joe. John.
- 23:18Huh? Yeah. Okay.
- 23:25India has a strong government. Uh yeah.
- 23:27Yeah, it does. Yeah. I mean India is one
- 23:30of the fastest growing economies in the
- 23:31world, right? And people I I understand
- 23:34it's like cool and edgy to hate on
- 23:36India. Um
- 23:40but I I I just want to show you guys
- 23:43uh India's growth 8% yearon year. Okay,
- 23:48that's insane.
- 23:51And I mean I mean I mean look at these
- 23:53numbers, guys. All right, we we'll give
- 23:55it the 10 year. Yeah. Okay. Co. All
- 23:57right, let's let's ignore CO for a
- 23:58second, but 965797776887.
- 24:05That's crazy numbers. That is not You
- 24:08cannot put up numbers like that without
- 24:11having a uh stable functioning
- 24:14government that implements a rules-based
- 24:16order. Right?
- 24:20And when you look at China's GDP growth,
- 24:22you can see uh again, we'll do the same
- 24:2510-year chart here.
- 24:27You can see China 77767748345
- 24:3355 545 55 55 55 55 55 55 55 55 55 55
- 24:345455
- 24:36huge but India remember a 2% growth rate
- 24:41difference multiply over 10 years you're
- 24:43going to end up with economies that are
- 24:45like
- 24:47much closer.
- 24:52So when you compare for example uh
- 24:54actual GDP
- 24:56uh
- 24:58yeah uh here's comparing
- 25:04uh okay this isn't that helpful
- 25:12uh India verse China GDP
- 25:16trying to find it
- 25:26Okay. So, this random chart,
- 25:30I don't know. I I haven't vetted this.
- 25:32It's a random Instagram post. But again,
- 25:35this has China with 19 trillion to
- 25:39India's 4 trillion. But again, I point
- 25:41these things out that
- 25:44you're looking at
- 25:46India's growth rate is really escalating
- 25:50in its own right. And I think that's
- 25:53like not should not be forgotten about
- 25:58if that makes sense.
- 26:01Because these are these are countries
- 26:02again that are in like pretty robust
- 26:03comparison. And if there's one thing
- 26:04Ukraine has taught us, by the way, it's
- 26:06that yo, you should not uh you should
- 26:09not sit there and use uh the size of an
- 26:11economy as a proxy for its fighting
- 26:14force effectiveness. Sergeant, thanks
- 26:15for the 25. The ASOV leadership had a
- 26:17small press conference on Operation
- 26:18Vivaldi. Consider checking it out. Yeah.
- 26:20Okay. Okay. Uh
- 26:25John, I see you're two. For some reason,
- 26:27I'm getting an error in my in my chat
- 26:31box. It's not letting me read what your
- 26:32actual chat is. Unless it's just a thank
- 26:34you. Unless it's just a $2 Australian
- 26:36thank you, in which case I I really
- 26:38appreciate it.
- 26:42Okay, I see people talking about Elon.
- 26:44You want to talk about brain dead Elon.
- 27:00It's interesting to see everybody talk
- 27:02about reading. Uh yeah, I feel like
- 27:05maybe the Bookb Bro world is coming is
- 27:08having a comeback, which I I love. I
- 27:11think more people need to read and I
- 27:13think you can get a lot of you can learn
- 27:16things when you read.
- 27:25Elon playing Hank playing War Dogs on a
- 27:28jet. There's no way Elon Elon would be
- 27:30terrible at War Dogs. terrible path of
- 27:32exile.
- 27:42Let's talk about Let's talk about Papa
- 27:44Elon.
- 28:11Oh man. Okay.
- 28:25So, let's let's let's talk about Elon.
- 28:40Elon Musk is not exactly the most stable
- 28:43or intelligent person on the face of the
- 28:47planet. Despite being the world's
- 28:49richest man, he's really having a pretty
- 28:52bad crash out on Twitter, proving that
- 28:55if you spend enough time on social
- 28:56media, you too can ruin your entire
- 29:00life. But we're going to talk about
- 29:02actually more importantly, what exactly
- 29:05is Elon saying? And why should we just
- 29:08not trust this guy? Let's take a look.
- 29:10Okay, so one, I thought this was this is
- 29:12kind of my jumping off point because
- 29:14this is kind of wild. Elon has dodged
- 29:17for years um again rumors of ketamine
- 29:21abuse. Now obviously reporting from
- 29:24numerous numerous sources have outlined
- 29:27that Elon has a frightening relationship
- 29:29with ketamine but also Elon himself has
- 29:31admitted to using ketamine um you know
- 29:34recreationally.
- 29:36So the idea that he's out here tweet
- 29:39tweeting saying oh I have a great idea
- 29:41for a drug called regretamine. one dose
- 29:44and all your regrets are gone, including
- 29:46obviously having taken regretamine in
- 29:48the first place. Now, this is
- 29:51uh this is like kind of maybe autism
- 29:54spectrum humor. Uh it's a really bad
- 29:56joke, but what I think is funny again,
- 29:58because Elon Musk almost never jokes
- 30:01about things that he uh isn't actually
- 30:03serious about, right? He has a lot of
- 30:05jokes about uh you know, how hard it is
- 30:07to be a white guy or whatever. Um but
- 30:09he's obviously not joking. What I think
- 30:11is most interesting is that this is the
- 30:14closest this is the closest I've ever
- 30:16seen Elon come to actual insight to say,
- 30:19"Whoa, I kind of regret using it's not
- 30:23ketamine, guys. It's regrett." And he
- 30:26regrets having taken ketamine in the
- 30:29first place. Now, what's wild to me is
- 30:31that in the comments, nobody mentions
- 30:34the actual important part, right? I
- 30:36mean, here's video. Actually, this is
- 30:37unaltered video of Elon in uh in a
- 30:40ketamine hole, right? Appearing to be
- 30:44unbelievably high. I mean, look at this.
- 30:46This is this is unaltered. This is real
- 30:48video, by the way, of Elon, who has
- 30:51definitely never taken uh drugs in his
- 30:54life. But what I want to point out
- 30:58uh is that when you and this is this is
- 31:01part of the argument here, right? Again,
- 31:03Elon almost certainly coming out and
- 31:05saying, "Listen, I I take a lot of
- 31:06ketamine." Uh,
- 31:11and we've talked about the fact that
- 31:13when you take a lot of when you're on
- 31:16long-term ketamine use, uh, again, this
- 31:19is a study from, uh, 2022, and it's
- 31:22called brain changes are associated with
- 31:23long-term ketamine abuse, a systematic
- 31:25review. Uh, it says, "Recently, abuse of
- 31:28ketamine has soared." This is it's
- 31:30certainly soared on a per capita basis.
- 31:33Uh and
- 31:35when looking at it, the effects of
- 31:38prolong ketamine on the brain can be
- 31:39observationally studied from chronic
- 31:40recreational users. Systematic review of
- 31:42studies reporting the function of
- 31:43structural brain changes after repeated
- 31:45ketamine use. And what they found
- 31:49uh was that in fact uh the ketamine use
- 31:55resulted in a significant and uh easily
- 32:00documented um u formation of brain
- 32:04lesions. Right? These people had uh
- 32:06results. All right. 16 studies in the
- 32:08review, 440 chronic ketamine users. So
- 32:11this is not a huge end, right? You
- 32:13usually like to see over a thousand to
- 32:14be good, but uh 500 caretamine users
- 32:19again is going to be quite a bit. Um
- 32:23right, use between was between 2 and 10
- 32:26years. Again, for Elon, we've started to
- 32:30see documentation of ketamine use around
- 32:322021. So, uh again, he's actually on the
- 32:36the more extreme end of this. Uh and the
- 32:41studies describe structural gray matter
- 32:42and white matter changes, differences in
- 32:44brain functionality, differences in
- 32:45neurotransmitter receptor binding. Um
- 32:48again, you're looking at smaller gray
- 32:51matter volume in the left superior
- 32:53frontal cortex, right? These are parts
- 32:54that are uh in right middle frontal
- 32:56cortex. So we know for example that
- 32:59documents that hey it's going to cause
- 33:01some level of brain atrophy in the uh
- 33:05frontal cortex and uh the frontal cortex
- 33:08guys um it's uh it's not that important.
- 33:12It actually um just acts as the brain
- 33:14central command center for high level
- 33:15thinking, movement and personality. All
- 33:17of which almost every observer would say
- 33:21Elon has had massive changes in since
- 33:242021. again he has become uh a kind of a
- 33:28vowed white nationalist or someone who
- 33:30believes in white grievance. Um
- 33:34and again we've seen we just saw a video
- 33:36of his bizarre movements um and his
- 33:39higher level thinking again seems to be
- 33:41somewhat impaired. Uh
- 33:45again, I also would like to point out
- 33:48that
- 33:50uh that if you invested in his company
- 33:54uh let's see uh we'll we'll we'll take
- 33:57it back actually. If you invested in his
- 33:59company around the time he was first
- 34:00identified as using ketamine on a
- 34:02chronic basis, you would have bought
- 34:03about 47 USD per share. And if you had
- 34:08held like a true Elon Musk fanboy over 5
- 34:10years, you would have made $6 a share.
- 34:13In adjusting for inflation, you've lost
- 34:15significant amounts of money investing
- 34:18in Tesla Motor Corp. And that would be
- 34:22aligned with someone who is um I'm
- 34:25trying to think of how to put this
- 34:26nicely. Uh whose executive function has
- 34:29become impaired, right? Because again, a
- 34:32a real CEO uh their job is to push the
- 34:35stock price. And it's not that hard to
- 34:37figure out. Again,
- 34:39um uh
- 34:42like
- 34:49again, I can't I can't actually get the
- 34:50side effects of long-term ketamine use
- 34:53um from studies, but again, here's one
- 34:55from Colombia from two years ago. Uh
- 34:59again, widespread structural change of
- 35:01the brain's dopamine system. Bolster
- 35:02case for developing ketamine therapies
- 35:04that target the brain. Uh
- 35:07again, the
- 35:11chronic ketamine use, I mean, it it's
- 35:14it's
- 35:16yeah, here's another summary from 2013
- 35:18describing MRI finding uh brain damage.
- 35:20Uh
- 35:22so, I mean, again,
- 35:26significant neuroiming pretty pretty
- 35:28much a uh it's basically a given. Again,
- 35:33these guys found uh lesions were
- 35:35observed in all 21 of the ketamine
- 35:37addicts that were profiled in this
- 35:38study. Um, those who had two or less
- 35:40regions of the brain with lesions were
- 35:42classified as light damage. Those who
- 35:43had three to four regions of the brain
- 35:45with lesions were classified as moderate
- 35:46damage. Those with five or more regions
- 35:48with lesions were classified as severe
- 35:50damage. Um, again, this is uh they first
- 35:56appear after one mean of act one year of
- 35:58active ketamine addiction. Um, and most
- 36:02of these legions spread uh by 3 years of
- 36:05the ketamine addiction. Again, if you're
- 36:07assuming that the rumors are true, the
- 36:09allegations are true of Elon, that would
- 36:11be pretty uh terrible. Uh, again,
- 36:16uh, the Oval Office or the New York
- 36:19Times has alleged that must drunk drug
- 36:21consumption is far more extensive,
- 36:23claiming he frequently used ketamine
- 36:24ecstasy and psyched mushrooms. His
- 36:26frequent ketamine use was severe enough
- 36:27to cause chronic bladder issues. Um,
- 36:30reports circulated that in the Oval
- 36:31Office, Mush Musk lashed out at a
- 36:34reporter asking about his alleged daily
- 36:36drug use. Musk denied the claims on
- 36:38Twitter, calling it a fabrication and
- 36:40saying he had only used prescribed
- 36:41ketamine years prior to escape dark
- 36:43mental holes, but that's not what he of
- 36:45course claimed. Um, Musk claimed to have
- 36:48released a formal uh drug test uh
- 36:51returned negative for cocaine,
- 36:52ecstatine, and ketamine. But again, Musk
- 36:55has also said he does use ketamine. So
- 36:58if he uses it a little bit every two
- 37:00weeks but then doesn't doesn't use it it
- 37:02well again it's pretty hard to to square
- 37:06that. Uh but again before we talk about
- 37:09his other claims that again this sense
- 37:12of what's wrong with his brain should
- 37:13inform the rest of the claims that he
- 37:15makes. You should understand that this
- 37:16is the ravings of someone who has um who
- 37:20whose brain
- 37:22is could have been damaged by ketamine
- 37:24use. I'm probably going to get sued by
- 37:26Elon for saying this, but again, I'm in
- 37:29the clear because he's a public figure
- 37:31and I've laid out my evidence uh for
- 37:33these claims. So, again, uh you know,
- 37:39we could also though though I guess if
- 37:41he sued me, we I would get to I get my
- 37:44own lawyers and I'd get to depose him on
- 37:45his ketamine use. Um maybe even drug
- 37:47test him, right? Maybe I could get that
- 37:49lab that did the drug test to verify
- 37:51that he really took it. Who knows? I
- 37:52could get all kinds of stuff. we get a
- 37:54hair sample. That would be dope. Get one
- 37:55of those hair samples. Um assuming his
- 37:58hair is real. Anyway, guys, uh if you
- 38:00want a boost that isn't going to rot
- 38:02your brain, um you may want to consider
- 38:04Strike Gum. It's made in the USA. It's
- 38:06veteranowned. It's got all the caffeine
- 38:08of one of these. Uh plus 100 milligrams
- 38:12alpha GPC, which you know, as studies
- 38:15have indicated, might improve your
- 38:16cognition. You know,
- 38:20no brain lesions as far as I know.
- 38:23I hope not because I'm taking I'm doing
- 38:25it every day. Uh but go to strikeum.com,
- 38:28pick some up, leave energy drinks
- 38:29behind. Uh and of course, by the way,
- 38:32because you know, we're always doing
- 38:34something here. Uh we got a Halloween
- 38:36sale, 20% off your order with promo code
- 38:39Halloween 20. So, go to Strike Gum,
- 38:42promo code Halloween 20. Okay, let's
- 38:45let's talk about some other uh
- 38:48unwell Elon claims because Elon's been
- 38:50absolutely on a crash out uh about the
- 38:53midterm elections. And it makes sense.
- 38:56Elon Musk is located in Texas. He has
- 38:58spent massively to try to support Ken
- 39:00Paxton, one of easily the most corrupt
- 39:04politicians in Texas. Um, uh, I won't
- 39:06even bore you with the Ken Paxton
- 39:08impeachment allegations, but you can ask
- 39:10your favorite chatbot to be like,
- 39:12summarize all the corruption allegations
- 39:13against Ken Paxton. And, um, again,
- 39:16you'll probably use your monthly budget
- 39:17for tokens. Uh, but Elon, of course, has
- 39:22been on an absolute crash out because
- 39:24Elon and his business interests are all
- 39:26located in Texas. And again, there's so
- 39:29many of his contracts that will be
- 39:31placed in jeopardy um if the Democrats
- 39:34take power in the Senate because uh they
- 39:36may, for example, realize that Elon, a
- 39:39major government contractor, is in
- 39:40regular contact with Vladimir Putin and
- 39:42other sanctioned Russians, which would
- 39:44prohibit his companies from taking uh
- 39:46any kind of government money. They may
- 39:48also realize that Elon Musk himself
- 39:51couldn't pass a real drug test, an
- 39:52independently administered drug test,
- 39:54and that that would prohibit him from
- 39:56having government contracts. They may
- 39:58also investigate his actions with Doge,
- 40:00which also were likely uh sweeping
- 40:03crimes that Elon has explicitly and on
- 40:06Twitter um literally said, "I am the
- 40:09person who, for example, misuse social
- 40:11security data in violation of the
- 40:13Privacy Act." So, if I was Elon, I'd be
- 40:15I'd be freaking out, too. And that's why
- 40:17he has spent nearly a half a billion
- 40:20dollars if I remember correctly on these
- 40:23elections, spending more than George
- 40:25Soros ever did in his entire life. So
- 40:29Elon Musk conspiracy theory is stating
- 40:31that if the Democrats get the House,
- 40:32Senate, and presidency in 2028, which
- 40:35worth noting is not 2026, he says,
- 40:38quote, "They will make DC and Puerto
- 40:40Rico states to gain a strong majority in
- 40:42the Senate." Already we're seeing uh
- 40:44Elon doesn't really fully understand
- 40:46here. Um because
- 40:49uh
- 40:51because to become a state uh the state
- 40:54has to first ask for statehood which I
- 40:56think DC and Puerto Rico Puerto Rico has
- 40:58repeatedly rejected uh referendum to
- 41:01become a full US state. Um second there
- 41:05has to be a uh you know they have to
- 41:08draft a constitution which is not fast.
- 41:11Then they petition US Congress for
- 41:12admission. Both US House of
- 41:13Representatives and the Senate must pass
- 41:15an act of Congress joint resolution by a
- 41:16simple majority agreeing to admit the
- 41:17new state. Um then the president must
- 41:20sign it again. And I I point these
- 41:22things out because you know Elon thinks
- 41:25that oh they might eliminate the
- 41:26filibuster and let these states in. I
- 41:29think it's possible uh but it is a long
- 41:31way off. And I want to point out that um
- 41:34taking American citizens who don't have
- 41:36a vote and letting them vote is not the
- 41:40same thing as as Elon alleges destroying
- 41:43democracy. He says this would result in
- 41:44America becoming a permanent one party
- 41:46state and the end of democracy in any
- 41:47meaningful sense of the word. Again,
- 41:49allowing Americans citizens to vote is
- 41:53not destroying democracy. Okay. Then he
- 41:56says they're going to open the borders
- 41:57and legalize everyone living in America
- 41:59illegally to cement a permanent
- 42:01majority. Now this is just fantasy. He
- 42:04said the same thing about Kla Harris.
- 42:06But what we can do is use the last time
- 42:09the Democrats controlled the House,
- 42:11Senate, and Presidency to to to preview
- 42:14what they would do. Did they try to do
- 42:15this? The answer is no. In fact, the
- 42:18Biden administration during the CO9
- 42:19pandemic carried out 3 million Title 42
- 42:22expulsions between March 2020 and
- 42:24through May 2023. Um over 1.5 million
- 42:28deportations and returns uh through late
- 42:302024, including a decade high of the
- 42:33last year of the Biden administration,
- 42:34he deported um a 271,000
- 42:39uh people right when combining formal
- 42:42deportations, border returns, and title
- 42:4342 expulsion. B administration uh
- 42:46expelled or repatriated 4.4 million
- 42:50people. Um even if you look at for
- 42:52example proposals um for granting what
- 42:56they call a path to citizenship most of
- 42:58those focus on um dreamers for example
- 43:01the I think the fastest path to
- 43:03citizenship proposal from a democratic
- 43:06congressman had the fastest you could
- 43:08get citizenship would have been 5 years.
- 43:10So, you would have had to have lived in
- 43:12the US a long time, not commit any
- 43:14crimes, applied for legal permanent
- 43:15residency status, and then sort of
- 43:17slowly started the climb from your green
- 43:19card to citizenship. Um, so again, the
- 43:22idea that it's going to rapidly produce
- 43:24a permanent majority is is
- 43:27doesn't make any sense. It also doesn't
- 43:29make electoral sense because let's
- 43:31assume for example um not that
- 43:34controversial that the individuals who
- 43:37are granted citizenship are vote like
- 43:40Hispanics, right? Hispanic American
- 43:42citizens. And as you can see in 2024,
- 43:44Hispanic American citizens voted for
- 43:47Harris um by 51 to 48, a incredibly
- 43:52narrow margin, right? So the idea that
- 43:56suddenly by giving Hispanics
- 43:59like a path to citizenship, even if they
- 44:01were to get handwaved and suddenly gain
- 44:03citizenship, it would represent a
- 44:06threepoint advantage over how willing
- 44:09these guys were to vote Republican.
- 44:12And again, that's unlikely to happen in
- 44:15this case. But you cannot argue that
- 44:20a that
- 44:22allowing Hispanic voters to vote is
- 44:25going to like cement some kind of
- 44:27majority. You see, these claims by Elon
- 44:29are disproved by a incredibly trivially
- 44:32small um a trivial amount of googling, a
- 44:35trivial amount of analysis allows us to
- 44:37show that Elon is just full of [ __ ] Um
- 44:39again, increase the size of the Supreme
- 44:41Court. This didn't happen in the uh in
- 44:45the Biden administration and they
- 44:46certainly could have. In fact, during
- 44:48the Biden administration, you saw um
- 44:51Ruth Bader Ginsburg die and her
- 44:53successor uh actually she was mocked on
- 44:56her deathbed by Mitch McConnell as Mitch
- 44:57McConnell would show her lists of
- 45:00ultra-conservative justices who are
- 45:01going to replace her. Um if you're like
- 45:04that seems pointlessly cruel to do to a
- 45:06dying old woman, um that's because Mitch
- 45:09McConnell is a monster. Uh, and so the
- 45:13idea that this is going to happen, that
- 45:16the Democrats are magically going to
- 45:17stuff the Supreme Court is kind of wild.
- 45:19And again, the idea, the fundamental
- 45:22concept of like eliminating democracy by
- 45:27maybe creating a path to citizenship and
- 45:30granting American citizens the right to
- 45:32vote is kind of absurd, right? And then
- 45:38Elon says it would be game over for
- 45:39America. Now, where where does this come
- 45:41from? This comes from obviously the
- 45:42ketamine. Uh but also because remember
- 45:45Elon Musk isn't actually an American uh
- 45:47by birth. He came here and again listen
- 45:51foreignb born American citizens are real
- 45:53citizens. But Elon probably misses some
- 45:56things because he grew up in apartheid
- 45:58South Africa and indeed the end of
- 46:00apartheid has seen a huge decline in the
- 46:03South African economy and I believe the
- 46:05decline in South African standard of
- 46:06living I think or it's been stagnant. Um
- 46:09but certainly he maintains that the
- 46:14uh it is not a function of the
- 46:16corruption of political parties. Elon
- 46:18believes that it is a function of
- 46:20allowing too many of the wrong kinds of
- 46:22people to vote. Now I also want to make
- 46:26a few other hot takes. This is the sort
- 46:28of highlevel brain thinking that Elon's
- 46:31posting. He says this is what they stole
- 46:33from us and it is an AI picture
- 46:35depicting Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker.
- 46:38um the character of Padme and uh Luke
- 46:41and Leia now I in charge of the empire.
- 46:44I want to point these things out because
- 46:47I often mock people who adopt a Star
- 46:50Wars view of morality in which um in
- 46:53order to educate children, right? Star
- 46:55Wars or Harry Potter. um they impart
- 46:58moral lessons to children by telling
- 47:00them explicitly that this character is
- 47:03bad and because they are the bad
- 47:06character, you as a child can learn
- 47:08about the tricks that bad people use
- 47:11because you can watch a bad person do
- 47:13them. This is like my daughter's book,
- 47:15right? In the fairy tales she reads, the
- 47:17fox is always a trickster. The fox is
- 47:19always up to something. And so she gets
- 47:21to learn about the tricks a human being
- 47:22might attempt to play with her. for
- 47:24example, luring her out of her house
- 47:26with candy. That's a that's a trick a
- 47:28fox plays. So, she gets to learn that
- 47:30this is something that the evil
- 47:32trickster does. And um Star Wars uses
- 47:35that, right? We get to learn about good
- 47:37and evil. Children can learn about good
- 47:39and evil because we know Darth Vader is
- 47:41bad. So, being cruel to his
- 47:42subordinates, we know Darth Vader, it's
- 47:44bad to be cruel to your subordinates
- 47:46because Darth Vader is cruel. We know
- 47:48it's bad to um liquidate an entire
- 47:51planet of civilians. And we know that
- 47:53because Darth Vader is bad and he does
- 47:56that. So, um, again,
- 48:00Elon's being like, "It's bad that Darth
- 48:02Vader was the bad guy
- 48:04and he wouldn't have had to kill
- 48:06everyone in Aldderon
- 48:08if he like had just been allowed to not
- 48:14fight Obi-Wan. This doesn't make any
- 48:16sense, right?"
- 48:19Again, Elon kind of laughs. Strong
- 48:21people don't put others down, they lift
- 48:22them up. Darth Vader, philanthropist. Uh
- 48:26what if Padme was like, "Yeah, babe.
- 48:28You're right." Uh then I love the fact
- 48:30that they're like, "Yeah, that's how
- 48:32Elon really looks." Um
- 48:35and again, of course, the faction is
- 48:38going to miss the whole point of Star
- 48:39Wars. Um right, somebody else being
- 48:42like, "Imagine how it's propaganda it
- 48:43took women to be convinced that this is
- 48:45oppressive." Um that's because this is
- 48:47fake. This is actually AI generated. So,
- 48:49this is the sort of brain rot. Uh,
- 48:52actually, okay, this is pretty good.
- 48:54Shocked you would identify with the
- 48:55child murdering, self-sabotaging,
- 48:57emotionally stunted failure of a father.
- 48:59Uh, that's true. Anakin was a fascist
- 49:01who tried to murder his own wife by
- 49:02putting her in a choke hole. Do you not
- 49:03understand Star Wars? Right. This is
- 49:06pretty wild. Um,
- 49:09again,
- 49:11also funny, Elon and maybe his mom and
- 49:13Doge, right?
- 49:19Yeah, there's Elon.
- 49:22Okay, watching Elon get dragged in the
- 49:23comments is actually pretty rich. Uh,
- 49:25now I want to point out some other
- 49:26things, right, that Elon doesn't
- 49:28understand. Uh, here it depicts Texas
- 49:31Democrat James Trico saying, "What would
- 49:34Jesus do if he visited Texas
- 49:35legislature?" He would tell us, "Blessed
- 49:36are the trans children." Now,
- 49:39and I want to point out that anybody
- 49:41that uh attended any kind of religious
- 49:44schooling understands that
- 49:49Jesus blessed uh all the people who the
- 49:53rest of society treated as paras. That
- 49:56was actually like that was maybe the
- 49:58central message um of of of the New
- 50:03Testament. Um now Elon obviously didn't
- 50:05get a religious education but that
- 50:06doesn't stop him from trafficking in
- 50:08religion. Um and he misunderstands
- 50:12saying listen Jesus like famously also
- 50:15said like tax collectors who were
- 50:17notoriously corrupt or um uh uh
- 50:22prostitutes who were prostitutes were
- 50:24were also blessed by Jesus. That's like
- 50:26really I can't emphasize this enough
- 50:28that is like core to the message. And uh
- 50:32Elon interpreting that as Trico will
- 50:34vote to trans your kids. The irony of
- 50:37course being that Elon Musk himself has
- 50:39a trans child who hates him. Um he's so
- 50:43close to getting it. Again, this is
- 50:45somebody that's like Darth Vader was
- 50:47based when he murdered all those kids.
- 50:49Um,
- 50:52and by the way, uh, the problem is, of
- 50:54course, as this commenter points out,
- 50:57um, that Elon, uh, if the kids have
- 51:01gender confirming surgery, Elon may not
- 51:04be attracted to them and therefore not
- 51:05able to party at Epstein's Island, as
- 51:08Elon requested, uh, in repeated emails
- 51:11asking to party at Epstein's Island. Um,
- 51:16so
- 51:18yeah, as this one points out, in any
- 51:19sane country, an individual spending 175
- 51:21million lying that James Taro is going
- 51:23to change the gender of your children
- 51:24would be election fraud. Uh, again,
- 51:27Trico has actually repeatedly said that
- 51:31he has no problems with the existing
- 51:33well, I don't think he said he has no
- 51:34problems, but he has no problems with
- 51:36the existing ban on gender- affirming
- 51:38surgeries and hormone treatment for
- 51:39children under 18. Um,
- 51:44so again, I mean, he's just getting
- 51:46dragged in these comments. It's actually
- 51:48pretty hilarious. And part of the reason
- 51:49he gets dragged in the comments is
- 51:50because he's one of the most least the
- 51:52least popular human beings on the
- 51:54planet. You can see actually um again
- 51:56when he massively pivoted to influence
- 51:58the um uh Trump agenda. You can see at
- 52:03his peak he was he was listed as being
- 52:05as having a 47% popularity rating. Uh,
- 52:09and you can see now he's down just 37.
- 52:11Um, and that, by the way, guys, is
- 52:13someone who is spent um billions in
- 52:18terms of manipulating the Twitter
- 52:19algorithm to make him look cool. Uh, so
- 52:22I I want you to understand that he is
- 52:24also though uh one of the most disliked
- 52:26people on the planet actually. Um,
- 52:28again, as of July,
- 52:31actually at his peak, July 1st, 2025, 50
- 52:34nearly 60% of Americans describe
- 52:36themselves as disliking Elon Musk, which
- 52:39is wild, guys. Uh, I mean, I I can't
- 52:42emphasize this enough. I I I'd love to
- 52:44see other like really terrible figures.
- 52:46Um,
- 52:48but Elon is is is genuinely one of the
- 52:52uh most unfavorably viewed people on
- 52:54planet Earth. net favorability for Elon.
- 52:57You can see here a negative 15. Um
- 53:01Elon truly I mean he was negative 25.
- 53:03The fact that he's only5 is actually
- 53:06kind of wild. Um
- 53:09that's huge. Uh like
- 53:14compared to uh the Trump unfavorability
- 53:16rating. Um,
- 53:20again, uh,
- 53:23let's see if we can find it. The Nate
- 53:24Silver puts him at a disapproval rating
- 53:27of 60% and an approval rating of 38. So,
- 53:29I think him and Elon are actually almost
- 53:31tied for their level of disapproval.
- 53:34Crazy. Crazy. Um, you can also see this
- 53:39I thought was hilarious. Just one more
- 53:41to show that again El Elon just is
- 53:45not connected to reality and he's not
- 53:47interested in trying to even ground
- 53:49himself into into the shared reality
- 53:51into like baseline reality because here
- 53:53he shared this post um that claims to be
- 53:57from Thomas but it's actually a
- 53:58commentary account um saying Elon Musk
- 54:00claims this is from a Joe Rogan
- 54:02interview that the mainstream media
- 54:03rarely gives positive coverage to people
- 54:04who don't align with his political
- 54:06views. He argues that even something as
- 54:08extraordinary as saving a bustload of
- 54:09orphans wouldn't make the headlines.
- 54:10Positive coverage about someone who's
- 54:11not the far-left tribe will get no
- 54:13coverage. This is untrue because here
- 54:15Elon Musk again the owner of Doge u you
- 54:19might recall uh about 6 months ago or
- 54:21not even yeah four months ago he took an
- 54:24unprecedented step to block the Russian
- 54:27military from using Starlink terminals
- 54:29creating a white list with the Ukrainian
- 54:30government. And as you can see, that
- 54:32story was covered by such no-name
- 54:35outlets as RBC Ukraine, uh the BBC,
- 54:38obviously, uh Business Insider, no one's
- 54:40ever heard of them. Uh the Atlantic,
- 54:43uh uh again
- 54:46like CNN, uh Ukraine defense starting
- 54:49terminal used by Russia cut off. Uh
- 54:52again, PC Mag, Reuters, Ukraine starting
- 54:54to use by Russia deactivated and blow to
- 54:56Moscow. Uh so again, all of these
- 54:59articles describe Elon in in glowing
- 55:02terms uh for this intervention. So this
- 55:04is just another example of Elon saying
- 55:07things that just just simply aren't
- 55:09true. And and again, I'm not here to
- 55:11dunk on celebrities. Like I don't ask
- 55:12celebrities to be massively informed,
- 55:14but this is someone whose views are
- 55:18massively to a scale that no other human
- 55:20being in American electoral history has
- 55:22ever done are massively being deployed
- 55:24to influence your thinking. So if Elon
- 55:27endorses a stance, you should understand
- 55:29that the context in which he is
- 55:32endorsing again the the basically the
- 55:34Republican candidates in every federal
- 55:36election. And by the way, you should do
- 55:38some research on your own candidates. In
- 55:39my city council race, in my town of
- 55:4280,000 people, there is an Elonbacked
- 55:45candidate. In fact, a candidate actually
- 55:47employed by Elon Musk. Um, so I I point
- 55:51these things out because um the this is
- 55:56a unbelievably um an unbelievable level
- 56:00of uh not just corruption. Sure. Like
- 56:04every real country would not allow this
- 56:05to happen. But also this is the actions
- 56:07of someone whose values have literally
- 56:09nothing to do. I mean literally if you
- 56:11say I wish the I wish Darth Vader won
- 56:14Star Wars. Okay. Like imag like a
- 56:17Saturday Night Live sketch. The man who
- 56:20says, "I wish Darth Vader won Star Wars.
- 56:22I'm so mad that he didn't kill all of
- 56:25those children. I wish there were like
- 56:2710 Aldderons." Uh if you can't if you
- 56:31can't look at that guy and be like, I
- 56:32think he's a bad man. Um again, this is
- 56:35a guy who who like stopped AIDS
- 56:40medication for Africans. like we were
- 56:44giving them free AIDS medications and we
- 56:46stopped it. It's wild, dude. It's just
- 56:50wild. And if if you can't sit there and
- 56:53go, "Listen, I don't think this guy's
- 56:54values align with mine."
- 56:57I can't help you. You can vote however
- 56:59you want, but tomorrow's election day
- 57:02and stay sharp out there. All right.
- 57:05Thanks to Alfred, Allan, Andreas,
- 57:06Bastion, Brent, Brennan, Charles,
- 57:07Christine, all the Lieutenant folks. We
- 57:10appreciate you guys. We couldn't do
- 57:11without you.
- 57:15Okay, I saw a bunch of of super chats.
- 57:18Uh, I'm gonna try to get you ace cams.
- 57:19Uh, can't believe everyone here actually
- 57:21thought that Trump was going to pull
- 57:22some election rigging BS, including you,
- 57:24Paul. But me, I was never worried. Uh,
- 57:25buddy, the elections are tomorrow. We
- 57:28don't know for sure. They will probably
- 57:30pull some BS
- 57:32again.
- 57:34Tomorrow afternoon is is when we're
- 57:36going to know. Okay,
- 57:39so that's that. I just want to point
- 57:41that thing out.
- 57:53Let's see. I want to take a look at this
- 57:54here.
- 57:59Let's see. I want to look at the South
- 58:01African Human Development Index over
- 58:02time.
- 58:05Uh, okay. Here's the South African Human
- 58:07Development Index over time. 63. It's
- 58:10now 71 actually. How about HDI ranking?
- 58:14It's actually
- 58:16Oh, also been on a steady upswing, huh?
- 58:20See, there you go. No, no, I'm sorry.
- 58:22I'm sorry. It's It's
- 58:25uh
- 58:28No, no, I have it wrong. It's actually
- 58:31been declining steadily over time. Uh it
- 58:34actually looks like in 1990 pre-apartid
- 58:36the human development index it peaked in
- 58:3894
- 58:41was the 69th most developed country
- 58:44and
- 58:46it bottomed out in 2005 at the 122nd
- 58:50most developed country but it's
- 58:52consistently sitting around near the
- 58:54bottom since then. Uh again currently as
- 58:57of 2022 it's about 110. Wonder if I can
- 59:03Let's see. List of countries by human
- 59:05development index. Okay.
- 59:09So here we'll do it by rank
- 59:12and let's try to find it.
- 59:16Okay. Here human development index South
- 59:18Africa between Tunisia and Usbekiststan.
- 59:23But you know it could be a lot worse.
- 59:24well ahead of most other
- 59:27subsaharan African countries
- 59:30which is wild
- 59:33but again I mean you can be like oh it
- 59:35used to be much higher in fact in the
- 59:38last 10 years it's fallen by only one
- 59:40place actually so it's not great to fall
- 59:43on the human development index um but
- 59:47again the annual growth rate
- 59:51uh has been rising by just 0.5% so a low
- 59:54growth. Again, I'm not going to sit
- 59:57there and be like South Africa's like
- 59:59destroyed, but basically HDI, life
- 1:00:01expectancy at birth, expected years of
- 1:00:03schooling, mean years of schooling, and
- 1:00:05uh GNI per capita
- 1:00:09uh PPP, right? Again, the highest in the
- 1:00:12world, Iceland, which has been rising.
- 1:00:15Norway has also dropped one place in the
- 1:00:17last 10 years. Germany's fallen a
- 1:00:18little. Australia's up a little, Hong
- 1:00:20Kong's down one. Right? You don't see
- 1:00:22that many big collapses. Ireland having
- 1:00:24a huge come come up over the last 10
- 1:00:26years. The UAE rocketing over the last
- 1:00:2810. Uh Canada kind of falling, United
- 1:00:31States unchanged,
- 1:00:34South Korea rising. Hey, so you know,
- 1:00:36again, uh here I am talking all this
- 1:00:38[ __ ] on South Africa, and I'm sure it
- 1:00:40has its problems, but
- 1:00:45uh
- 1:00:48but maybe it's just like we're learning
- 1:00:49more uh about like like things that used
- 1:00:53to be pushed to the side. Um
- 1:00:59interesting. Okay, this says that
- 1:01:00actually late apartheid 93 to95 the
- 1:01:03murder rate surged in the late 80s and
- 1:01:05early 90s uh reaching a historic high of
- 1:01:0860 per 100,000 in 95. Post a partid
- 1:01:11there was decline and there's been a
- 1:01:12rebound in recent years but it's 44 to
- 1:01:1745 per 100,000. So still uh just a
- 1:01:21fraction of what it was during late
- 1:01:23apartheid. Still about only about 75% of
- 1:01:26you know it's still j down about 25%
- 1:01:27from apartheid. Um but that's been only
- 1:01:31in 2023. So interesting.
- 1:01:34Again uh
- 1:01:38yeah to me this is a pretty significant
- 1:01:40story. This is people are like really
- 1:01:43freaking out about like a I mean I would
- 1:01:46worry right if I was a South African and
- 1:01:48I was like yo 15 years ago 2011 it
- 1:01:50wasn't like this but you can't sit there
- 1:01:52and be like okay if you're Elon you
- 1:01:55can't be like yo apart tid was was was
- 1:01:57was a blast right and now South Africa
- 1:02:02sucks you're like no dude you just lived
- 1:02:04in a super gated community and like the
- 1:02:06places where the murders happened were
- 1:02:07just the the pe like the places where
- 1:02:10the murders
- 1:02:11They weren't allowed to be near Elon. So
- 1:02:15again,
- 1:02:17this is like
- 1:02:20this is like pretty clear.
- 1:02:24So
- 1:02:27again, I'm I'm there you go. I'm wrong
- 1:02:30too, even to be like, "Oh, Elon said
- 1:02:31this and that about South Africa,
- 1:02:33right?" But the problem is that Elon
- 1:02:35would likely say things like, "Well,
- 1:02:37well, those are just made up. Those are
- 1:02:38liberal lies." Whatever.
- 1:02:51Okay. I love gentle goam judo being like
- 1:02:53South Africa is a great place if the
- 1:02:54evil people will leave. I want to point
- 1:02:56out let's just let's just let's just
- 1:02:58look here.
- 1:03:04Uh okay. Elon left South Africa in 1989,
- 1:03:10right?
- 1:03:15And
- 1:03:17let's see,
- 1:03:25also want to point out that David Sox
- 1:03:27also was a a South African immigr
- 1:03:30fleeing fleeing the end of apartheid. um
- 1:03:35as was Peter Teal. So it's, you know,
- 1:03:38that's just a that's just a fact for you
- 1:03:40guys to just stick in your brains. Now,
- 1:03:42I just want to point out that again, we
- 1:03:43don't have 1989,
- 1:03:45uh but I want to point out that again,
- 1:03:47six years after Elon left, you started
- 1:03:50to see like magic, the homicide rate
- 1:03:54plummet. So, I'm just going to say uh
- 1:04:05uh David Saxs left in 77 when he was
- 1:04:08five. Uh and let's see, what year did
- 1:04:13Peter Teal leave South Africa? In 77.
- 1:04:17Oh, weird.
- 1:04:20I also want to point out that like
- 1:04:27uh
- 1:04:31the South African border war with
- 1:04:34Namibia took place in 75. So really I
- 1:04:37think those guys left because of the
- 1:04:39[ __ ] war
- 1:04:41like Suapo MLA Q I mean look at this by
- 1:04:44the way if you want and I have sympathy.
- 1:04:46This is this this the South African
- 1:04:49border war slash the Angolan civil war
- 1:04:52was crazy because you had South Africa,
- 1:04:54Portugal, Yidita, FNLA um you had the
- 1:04:58Swapo, the MPLA, Cuba, Swano, ANC,
- 1:05:01Zamibia military advisers. All right,
- 1:05:04that's uh code again. And if you roll in
- 1:05:08the
- 1:05:10uh the Angolan Bush war, you get like US
- 1:05:14intervention, you get um Soviet
- 1:05:17intervention, you obviously have South
- 1:05:19African I mean this was a this was by
- 1:05:21most accounts six major world powers
- 1:05:23were involved in the Angolan civil war
- 1:05:25and South African border war. All right.
- 1:05:29Again, you can see executive outcomes.
- 1:05:31The mercenary group was in there. um the
- 1:05:34former country of Zahire. I mean, this
- 1:05:36is just this was just a shitow.
- 1:05:39No, no, no shade for fleeing it. No
- 1:05:41shade to families that were like, "Yo,
- 1:05:43I'm worried about this war."
- 1:05:53Yeah. Every time I hear Mark Andre
- 1:05:55speak, who's another one of these guys,
- 1:05:57though he's I don't think he's South
- 1:05:58African. Um I I almost have a a a stroke
- 1:06:03because he says the dumbest things. Uh
- 1:06:08truly
- 1:06:16um
- 1:06:27again [ __ ] Mark Andre dude I saw an
- 1:06:30interview where he was like he was
- 1:06:32saying that like in the west uh
- 1:06:35companies uh the west hasn't grown own
- 1:06:37in 30 years because there's too many
- 1:06:39managers and not enough founders with
- 1:06:40absolute power over their companies. And
- 1:06:43he uses for example uh
- 1:06:48Henry Ford as an example um of uh a
- 1:06:54founder who led his company better than
- 1:06:56professional managers. But it's worth
- 1:06:58noting uh that he retired from Ford
- 1:07:00Motor Company in September of 45. Uh but
- 1:07:06like
- 1:07:11if you trace Ford Motor Company's market
- 1:07:14capitalization uh going uh back through
- 1:07:18the 1950s
- 1:07:21uh you can see that you know I'm going
- 1:07:22to go ahead and say that Ford Motor Corp
- 1:07:26um
- 1:07:28see here's the 54 years of stock price
- 1:07:30history of Ford Motor Corp. Let's see if
- 1:07:32we can take it all the way back. We
- 1:07:34can't get that far back. I'm trying to
- 1:07:36get it cuz yeah, like after the great
- 1:07:38financial crash, Ford like fell and
- 1:07:40never recovered. I I hear that. But um
- 1:07:46Ford Motor Corporation is like a
- 1:07:50is like a behemoth, man. I I don't know
- 1:07:52what to tell you. Um,
- 1:07:55it it grew by orders of magnitude after
- 1:07:59its founder uh died because Henry Ford
- 1:08:01was a neo-Nazi or he wasn't a neo-Nazi.
- 1:08:03Neo-Nazi implies recent. He was just a
- 1:08:05straightup Nazi. Um,
- 1:08:09so so
- 1:08:14again, it can't actually it won't
- 1:08:16actually show me Ford's stock price. I
- 1:08:19wonder if it doesn't have data from the
- 1:08:201950s.
- 1:08:25Uh
- 1:08:27here here's a here's a good example,
- 1:08:29right? Uh here's Dupant,
- 1:08:34right? Chemical company. Uh I'd say that
- 1:08:39after its founder died, I think in the
- 1:08:4020s or 30s, um I'd say that DuPont
- 1:08:43Chemical probably is a you know, pretty
- 1:08:46strong bet. I'd say it's I'd say it's
- 1:08:48grown just fine under professional
- 1:08:49managers,
- 1:08:51right?
- 1:08:55So, I don't know.
- 1:09:00That's just one of those things where
- 1:09:01Mark Andre is somebody who just like I I
- 1:09:04hear his interviews. I think I think
- 1:09:05he's got there's no way he's that
- 1:09:07stupid. I think he actually gives
- 1:09:08interviews just to rage bait like us us
- 1:09:10plebs.
- 1:09:15That's right. Elon didn't found Tesla.
- 1:09:20That's right. And when Walt Disney died,
- 1:09:22uh, I'm going to go ahead and say that
- 1:09:23Disney Corp did pretty good under some
- 1:09:25professional managers, right? Like if
- 1:09:27you're an investor,
- 1:09:32let's see if we can find the max for
- 1:09:34Disney stock. Uh, here we go. Walt
- 1:09:36Disney long dead, but in ' 86 it was
- 1:09:39trading at $3 a share. Uh, today Disney
- 1:09:44trading at 113.
- 1:09:46I'm gonna say a 30,000% gain in the last
- 1:09:49just 30 years. I'd say professional
- 1:09:51managers have a pretty good uh pretty
- 1:09:54good look right now over the last 30
- 1:09:57years.
- 1:10:03Again, that that's classic Mark Andre
- 1:10:06[ __ ]
- 1:10:07You guys want to talk about some dead
- 1:10:09Russians?
- 1:10:28Andrea is all about disruptive
- 1:10:29businesses. Well, which which of his
- 1:10:31crypto businesses has disrupted an
- 1:10:33industry?
- 1:10:35Which which crypto business are you like
- 1:10:37Mark Andre? Mark Andre's investment in
- 1:10:40this crypto company has completely
- 1:10:42changed the way the average American
- 1:10:44does X because I have yet to see it. The
- 1:10:47only crypto companies that make money
- 1:10:49are ones that
- 1:10:52sell crypto to unsophisticated investors
- 1:10:56who sell cryptocurrencies as investments
- 1:10:58when they are not.
- 1:11:00Nothing else.
- 1:11:21Yeah, but PayPal. Okay, PayPal, Uber,
- 1:11:25not A16Z companies, right on ice. Obama
- 1:11:30bringing up Ukrainian struggles while
- 1:11:31getting stabbed in the back by the
- 1:11:32current US. Also, hearing a coherent
- 1:11:35speech and giving nod to allies was
- 1:11:36refreshing with US threats against my
- 1:11:38neighbors, Greenland, and our US
- 1:11:40ambassador joking about annexing us.
- 1:11:42Yeah. Yeah. America's allies.
- 1:11:46Yeah. Watching. I mean, it's hard to
- 1:11:49overstate what incredible support we
- 1:11:50have from our allies. And I'm going to
- 1:11:53I'm going to share a theory with you
- 1:11:55guys, right? The Europeans,
- 1:11:58I I never discount the European ability
- 1:12:01to be
- 1:12:02inactive in the face of threats. But
- 1:12:05here's what I want to point out is that
- 1:12:07uh Trump did a bunch of [ __ ] to the
- 1:12:09Europeans. He he he threatened them. He
- 1:12:13bullied them. He was an [ __ ] to them.
- 1:12:16And you know who buys US treasuries?
- 1:12:20Who are the largest buyers of US
- 1:12:22treasuries? Europeans, aren't they? They
- 1:12:25buy a lot of US treasuries. And as you
- 1:12:27can see over the last two years, you can
- 1:12:30see here's here's 2021.
- 1:12:33You can see that over over especially
- 1:12:35once Trump really started threatening
- 1:12:38people with the tariffs. You can see
- 1:12:39let's find when Trump took office.
- 1:12:40Here's Trump taking office. Oh,
- 1:12:42treasuries are trading about 3.86. Not
- 1:12:45great, but not terrible. And you can see
- 1:12:47that somebody somebody stopped buying
- 1:12:50treasuries right right around here and
- 1:12:55ran those [ __ ] things up to 5.2%.
- 1:12:58Guys, that's [ __ ] the the country
- 1:13:00pretty hard. I I I can't emphasize this
- 1:13:03enough. Not buying US treasury US
- 1:13:06treasuries is is is [ __ ] the country.
- 1:13:19Yeah. Let's see. Largest buyers of US
- 1:13:21treasuries,
- 1:13:23Japan, the UK. Here we go. Here's a nice
- 1:13:25little helpful chart. Oo, it's Japan who
- 1:13:29we tariffed pointlessly and then
- 1:13:31actually um sold out Taiwan. That that
- 1:13:34can't have been great for them. China,
- 1:13:36who obviously we're in a trade war with.
- 1:13:38Oh, the UK. Interesting. Luxembourg,
- 1:13:40which is almost certainly a proxy for
- 1:13:42European-based uh private entities.
- 1:13:44Canada, oh, we have a great relationship
- 1:13:46with Canada. Ireland, another country we
- 1:13:48have a great relationship. Oh, Belgium,
- 1:13:50and of course, the Cayman Islands,
- 1:13:51right? Again, more proxies.
- 1:13:54Interesting. Again, depending on the
- 1:13:56year, you see here, Japan, UK, mainland
- 1:13:59China, Cayman Islands based entities,
- 1:14:01right? Private pension funds and the
- 1:14:02like. Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada,
- 1:14:05France, Ireland, Switzerland, Taiwan.
- 1:14:08Wow. Everybody that buys US debt has a
- 1:14:11reason to be pretty pissed at America.
- 1:14:14John, thanks. The deep dive has been
- 1:14:16great. Thanks, man. I appreciate it.
- 1:14:20Ah, Japan. I'm fascinated. I love a good
- 1:14:23Trump troll because their largest buyer
- 1:14:26and their currency is tied to our
- 1:14:29dollar. Didn't we have to intervene to
- 1:14:33prop up the Japanese yen? Why? Why? How
- 1:14:35would they have propped up the yen if
- 1:14:36the US didn't intervene? What could they
- 1:14:39have used? What what thing is in the
- 1:14:41Japanese central bank that they could
- 1:14:43have sold on the open market to
- 1:14:45strengthen the yen? Something something
- 1:14:48liquid, something with a large quantity,
- 1:14:50something that the Japanese government
- 1:14:52has a lot of that they might want to get
- 1:14:54rid of.
- 1:14:55US treasuries. They could have sold US
- 1:14:59treasuries for yen and use that to
- 1:15:02strengthen the yen, couldn't they?
- 1:15:05That would have been bad, though. That
- 1:15:07would have been tragic, wouldn't it
- 1:15:08have?
- 1:15:11Uh, how unfortunate.
- 1:15:14Luckily, the US taxpayer bailed them
- 1:15:17out.
- 1:15:19Imagine, again, imagine if if the United
- 1:15:22States government
- 1:15:24if if when those rates were rising so
- 1:15:26much, the Japanese were also selling
- 1:15:28treasuries like it was going out of
- 1:15:29style. That would have been a a disaster
- 1:15:31for the Americans for the American
- 1:15:33budget. It already is. We're already in
- 1:15:35a lot of trouble.
- 1:15:37But it's going to get so much worse.
- 1:15:42Miles remembers they threatened to sell
- 1:15:44a US bond, so Trump backed off.
- 1:15:45Interesting.
- 1:16:06All right, let's see.
- 1:16:18Japan is forced to sell dollars to pump
- 1:16:20their own currency.
- 1:16:23Mr. Naughty, your videos are awesome. I
- 1:16:24just want to say Slava, Ukraani, Herom,
- 1:16:26Slava, and Trump is trash. Yeah, amen to
- 1:16:29that, dude. Amen to that. Hope you guys
- 1:16:32donated to the fundraiser. I think it's
- 1:16:34still ostensibly open, but um I think
- 1:16:36Preston Stewart is doing one now um with
- 1:16:39the folks at UO. Uh I should uh let's
- 1:16:44see. Let's see if I can find UO on
- 1:16:46Twitter.
- 1:16:48Uh oh, it's funny.
- 1:16:52Oh, here's their blog. Let's see.
- 1:16:56With with the government of Canada,
- 1:16:57which I think is awesome.
- 1:17:00Okay. UAO partnering with the Liberal
- 1:17:03government of Canada, which is sick.
- 1:17:15Uh, and here's Defenders of Donbas.
- 1:17:18Yeah, I think this is it. Yeah, this is
- 1:17:19Preston Stewart. Defenders of Donbas.
- 1:17:27Keep it the 93rd. Yeah, these guys.
- 1:17:29Yeah. Sweet.
- 1:17:47Yeah. So,
- 1:17:51okay. So, anyway, yeah, I hope you guys
- 1:17:54can donate to them.
- 1:18:08No, I I really like Preston Stewart. I
- 1:18:10both like him as an analyst. I think his
- 1:18:12analysis is really good. I also like him
- 1:18:14as a person. Um, and if you might
- 1:18:16recall, last time I was in Ukraine, we
- 1:18:18actually did with UAO, I did some
- 1:18:21deliveries. Uh, OG, you know, true true
- 1:18:25OG's know. Um, we actually delivered
- 1:18:28some cars from Preston Stewart's
- 1:18:30fundraiser uh uh when I was with UAO.
- 1:18:34So, like I did the like thank you video
- 1:18:36which I thought was really funny.
- 1:18:54A dentist system. I love I love when
- 1:18:56people are like inflation's down and
- 1:18:58you're like well the the rate of
- 1:19:00inflation is down but like if you want
- 1:19:02prices to decrease they're not going to
- 1:19:06and if prices are decreasing across the
- 1:19:08board as I'm sure you know if you truly
- 1:19:11have an economics degree like if prices
- 1:19:13decrease across the board it's a
- 1:19:14national [ __ ] crisis because like no
- 1:19:18one would ever invest their money in
- 1:19:20anything if a dollar buys one apple
- 1:19:24today and will buy two apples tomorrow,
- 1:19:28then you will never buy apples. And like
- 1:19:30that's annoying. But when you're saying,
- 1:19:32"Hey, listen. Why would I buy a car
- 1:19:35today if I can buy a nicer car next
- 1:19:40year?" And what you end up with if
- 1:19:41prices were to go down like that is that
- 1:19:43nobody would ever buy a car. They would
- 1:19:45always be waiting one more year to buy a
- 1:19:46car, right? And you would have a
- 1:19:49collapse. And that's one of the reasons
- 1:19:50why um even stable prices can be a real
- 1:19:55disaster, right? Okay, let's talk about
- 1:19:58some dead Russians.
- 1:20:02It feels like every month you look
- 1:20:04around and go, man, the Russians, it
- 1:20:06can't possibly get any worse for them,
- 1:20:08right? Well, apparently on at least on
- 1:20:10the battlefield, it can still get worse.
- 1:20:13And it seems like even Putin might be
- 1:20:16just plain old running out of ideas. So
- 1:20:18take a look. According to the latest
- 1:20:20stats, right, we're starting to see the
- 1:20:22the aggregate of some of October's
- 1:20:24statistics for the Russian military. And
- 1:20:27at least according to Ukrainian
- 1:20:28estimates, Russia has lost 2500 soldiers
- 1:20:31in a single day. This is an all-time
- 1:20:33record for the war. Uh absolutely
- 1:20:35unbelievable, right? These are generally
- 1:20:37considered unreoverable combat losses.
- 1:20:39So killed or severely wounded, unable to
- 1:20:41be returned to the battlefield. Now,
- 1:20:45uh, this is a crazy crazy number to have
- 1:20:50and as I point out, daily totals, you
- 1:20:52got to take them with a little bit of a
- 1:20:53grain of salt because usually the
- 1:20:54Ukrainians, if there's an ongoing
- 1:20:56operation, they'll wait a little bit to
- 1:20:58really push it out. But I think in the
- 1:21:00aggregate, you're seeing some absolutely
- 1:21:02insane numbers. And it really should
- 1:21:05change the way you view Vladimir Putin's
- 1:21:07calculus right now. So before we talk
- 1:21:09about exactly what these numbers mean
- 1:21:12and put them in some context and what
- 1:21:13Putin and the Russian government is
- 1:21:16forced to do about it, uh I want to
- 1:21:18mention guys that obviously Halloween is
- 1:21:20over, but that doesn't mean that we're
- 1:21:21not going to do a Strike Gum Halloween
- 1:21:23promotion. Use promo code Halloween 20
- 1:21:25for 20% off your Strike Gum. Join the
- 1:21:28athletes, streamers, uh parents, uh
- 1:21:32cops, nurses, doctors, and more that
- 1:21:35rely on Strike Gum and have left energy
- 1:21:37drinks in the past. So, if you're tired
- 1:21:38spending five bucks on these at a gas
- 1:21:40station, get your strike gum, throw it
- 1:21:41in your pocket, pop it, and go, and use
- 1:21:44promo code Halloween 20 to get your 20%
- 1:21:45off. Duh. Links right there in the
- 1:21:48description. Okay, so here's what I want
- 1:21:50to point out. These, now you may be
- 1:21:52like, "Hey, man, these are Ukrainian
- 1:21:53government stats." But every time there
- 1:21:55has been a leak from a Western
- 1:21:57intelligence service, they've actually
- 1:21:59found that the Ukrainians are pretty
- 1:22:01accurate reporters of casualties, dead
- 1:22:03plus wounded. So, we can actually use
- 1:22:06these because we know they're pretty
- 1:22:07good numbers. And I want to show you
- 1:22:10guys, okay, at the start of the war, you
- 1:22:13can see that the Russians were losing
- 1:22:14what at the time was considered a
- 1:22:16staggering amount of casualties up to a
- 1:22:18up to nearly 500 a day. And people said,
- 1:22:21"Whoa, that's incredible." Then you saw
- 1:22:23the war grow more lethal. And you
- 1:22:25started to see 750 a day. Right? By
- 1:22:272023, you were the Russians were losing
- 1:22:29over a,000 troops a day on many busy
- 1:22:32days. You can see even a peak in 2020
- 1:22:35early 2024 where you saw uh nearly uh I
- 1:22:39think this is about 1,500 14 or 1500
- 1:22:42today but you can see as you look at
- 1:22:44this chart that the loss rate of the
- 1:22:47Russian military has begun to increase
- 1:22:50exponentially right we're seeing um
- 1:22:52we're seeing you know 13400 are local
- 1:22:55lows uh and you can see now that again
- 1:22:58in the last if you look at by months you
- 1:23:00can see that the Monthly casualty totals
- 1:23:03are staggering. In October, the report
- 1:23:06is 54,000
- 1:23:08Russian casualties, the single deadliest
- 1:23:10day in the the deadliest month, excuse
- 1:23:14me, for Russian troops in the entire
- 1:23:16war. This is an incredible lawsuit. This
- 1:23:19represents nearly the Russians losing
- 1:23:21two troops for every individual they can
- 1:23:23recruit. And one of the things that we
- 1:23:27have talked about on this channel, as
- 1:23:28I'm sure you guys know, is that this
- 1:23:31chart here from about February of this
- 1:23:34year onward is exactly what we would
- 1:23:36expect if the Russian military was
- 1:23:38unable to prevent losses. Why? Because
- 1:23:42the Russian military's ability to
- 1:23:44protect itself requires a certain number
- 1:23:47of troops.
- 1:23:49What do I mean by that? Well, for every
- 1:23:51if you want to properly supply a Russian
- 1:23:54soldier in a position in the forward
- 1:23:56edge of the battle area, the forwardmost
- 1:23:57Russian soldier, he needs what? He needs
- 1:24:00a drone team behind him running supplies
- 1:24:04into that location as well as flying FPV
- 1:24:06drones, strike drones, reconnaissance
- 1:24:08drones, doing everything to keep them
- 1:24:10safe. They also need behind them
- 1:24:13logistics crews bringing forward drones,
- 1:24:15batteries, munitions. Uh also the food,
- 1:24:19water, logistics, radio batteries, and
- 1:24:20more that are going to go forward into
- 1:24:22those positions. Right? That individual
- 1:24:24drone, that individual position at the
- 1:24:26forward edge of the battle also needs
- 1:24:28other Russian troops on his left and
- 1:24:29right to ensure that their position
- 1:24:30isn't surrounded. What happens when you
- 1:24:33start to take casualties you can't
- 1:24:35replace? Well, suddenly that drone team,
- 1:24:38you know, maybe that Russian drone team
- 1:24:39behind you, maybe they're running with
- 1:24:42only a crew of two instead of their
- 1:24:43usual three, and the drones only fly 12
- 1:24:46hours a day instead of the full 24.
- 1:24:49Maybe that drone team is still in place,
- 1:24:51but it's the truck drivers. There's only
- 1:24:53truck drivers working three, you know,
- 1:24:56working 12 hours a day, not and the
- 1:24:58other 12, they're simply not driving or
- 1:25:00the mechanics who are supposed to fix
- 1:25:02the trucks. the trucks break down and
- 1:25:03they send longer lingering on the side
- 1:25:04of the road and suddenly the supplies
- 1:25:06start to dry up. Now you get hungrier,
- 1:25:08you get more tired, you don't have
- 1:25:10ammunition, maybe the troops to your
- 1:25:12left and right. And what you would see
- 1:25:13is exactly what we're seeing here that
- 1:25:15the Ukrainians would find it easier to
- 1:25:18those Russians are less able to protect
- 1:25:21themselves and you would start to see
- 1:25:23again exactly what we're expecting to
- 1:25:25here, an exponential increase. Now you
- 1:25:27won't see this forever. At some point,
- 1:25:29you'll get to a point where either the
- 1:25:30Russians are forced to make difficult
- 1:25:32choices and start to withdraw from
- 1:25:34positions they can't sustain, or there
- 1:25:37simply won't be as many Russians uh that
- 1:25:39can be located. There physically aren't
- 1:25:41as many Russians on the battlefield,
- 1:25:43right? You would start to see it
- 1:25:44actually level off as literally there
- 1:25:46just aren't enough Russians to to to
- 1:25:48kill.
- 1:25:50You probably won't see that now. You
- 1:25:52might see this in the coming I would
- 1:25:54estimate and say there's probably at
- 1:25:56least a few more months like this. There
- 1:25:57might even be a 60,000 casualty month.
- 1:26:00But
- 1:26:02this
- 1:26:04is a sign of how desperate Putin is
- 1:26:06becoming, right? And this is again from
- 1:26:09just a few days ago where Russia has
- 1:26:12been found to have been recruiting uh
- 1:26:16you know young military-aged males in
- 1:26:20countries like Bundi and Zimbabwe where
- 1:26:22Russian rubles can be very appealing
- 1:26:25salaries for you know the average
- 1:26:27Bundian or Zimbabwean. And
- 1:26:30but the problem is that these numbers
- 1:26:33simply aren't doing the work. Now
- 1:26:36there's rumors, for example, that
- 1:26:37they've gotten about 700 Bundians who
- 1:26:39have signed contract with the Russians
- 1:26:41military, about 530 Zimbabweans. But
- 1:26:43bear in mind, guys, the Russian daily
- 1:26:45recruitment rate is around a thousand
- 1:26:47Russians a day. So this these two
- 1:26:49countries represent about one day of the
- 1:26:53month, uh maybe a little more, one day
- 1:26:55of the month's worth of recruitment.
- 1:26:57That's just not cutting it, right? Uh
- 1:26:59Ukrainian research overall has
- 1:27:01identified about 5,000 Africans have
- 1:27:03joined the army uh with forces coming
- 1:27:05from Cameroon, DR, Congo, Sierra Leone,
- 1:27:07and Sudan. Uh Russian authorities have
- 1:27:10trafficked men from about 29 different
- 1:27:11countries through their army throughout
- 1:27:13the course of the war. But these are
- 1:27:14tiny numbers. Again, this represents
- 1:27:16approximately one day of the month.
- 1:27:19Sorry, this represents about onetenth of
- 1:27:21just this month's casualties. That's all
- 1:27:22Africans have been recruit recruited
- 1:27:24forever. And
- 1:27:27this is, I think, a function of the fact
- 1:27:29that we're seeing again within Putin's
- 1:27:31Russia, a way more
- 1:27:34aggressive, a way more uh coercive
- 1:27:37mechanism. In fact, a lot of people just
- 1:27:39are describing it as a backdoor or
- 1:27:41clandestine mobilization and taking
- 1:27:44place in Russia where you're seeing
- 1:27:46again police threaten people to say,
- 1:27:47"Listen, you're going to join the army
- 1:27:49or we're going to give you fake drug
- 1:27:51charges and put you in jail forever."
- 1:27:53And
- 1:27:55that is uh sort of terrifying uh but
- 1:27:59also reflects just how desperate the
- 1:28:00Russian state is becoming to sustain
- 1:28:02this war. Now it's obviously not
- 1:28:04happening among well-connected wealthy
- 1:28:06Russians in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
- 1:28:08It's happening in kind of the uh lower
- 1:28:11economic tiers of Russian society. And
- 1:28:13that's not an accident. Those people are
- 1:28:15less likely to be able to meaningfully
- 1:28:17protest their detention. But it's it is
- 1:28:22a sign of the level of desperation. But
- 1:28:24it's but what the takeaway is also that
- 1:28:27this simply isn't helping. That this
- 1:28:29isn't actually aiding the Russians. This
- 1:28:33isn't stopping because
- 1:28:36the other thing that's being lost here
- 1:28:38is Russian resources, but also Russian
- 1:28:40training. These troops are worse. Right?
- 1:28:43Remember the average Cameroonian doesn't
- 1:28:45speak Russian. And while the Ukrainian
- 1:28:48armed forces has a huge and highly
- 1:28:50protocolized system for integrating
- 1:28:52foreign volunteers and the Ukrainian
- 1:28:54armed forces because they don't sustain
- 1:28:55casualties in the same rate have
- 1:28:58actually significant infrastructure to
- 1:29:00accommodate English and Spanish speakers
- 1:29:03especially.
- 1:29:05And so the Russians probably don't have
- 1:29:06that to nearly the same degree. And I
- 1:29:10suspect that is a huge problem in
- 1:29:12contributing to some of these
- 1:29:14casualties.
- 1:29:15But again, part of Putin's strategy, I
- 1:29:18think, is actually going to be escalate
- 1:29:20to deescalate to he needs to make the
- 1:29:23problem bigger. He needs to be able to
- 1:29:25tap into the full manpower of a fully
- 1:29:28wartime Russian economy. The only way he
- 1:29:31can do that, he can't do it in response
- 1:29:32to Ukraine because he's been telling the
- 1:29:34Russian people for four years that
- 1:29:36Ukraine is is totally won, that he's
- 1:29:38just it's been a mopping up operation
- 1:29:40for four years. It's not even a declared
- 1:29:42war. What Putin would need to to warrant
- 1:29:45a mobilization, a full mobilization of
- 1:29:47the Russian state would be a true
- 1:29:49declared war against an existential
- 1:29:51enemy. That enemy has to be NATO. It's
- 1:29:55the only enemy that Russia has. And the
- 1:29:59that's I think I believe one of the
- 1:30:01reasons why you're seeing the escalation
- 1:30:02of Russian hybrid attacks. At some
- 1:30:04point, Russia is going to do something
- 1:30:06that European politicians cannot simply
- 1:30:08push back against with strong words or
- 1:30:10angry statements. They're going to have
- 1:30:12to at some point politically respond.
- 1:30:14They're going to look too weak. Again,
- 1:30:16imagine an incident like the one at
- 1:30:18Leipzig airport. But instead of a cargo
- 1:30:21plane being hit by an ineffective drone,
- 1:30:23a drone successfully destroys a
- 1:30:25passenger aircraft, killing hundreds.
- 1:30:28The German government, the Polish
- 1:30:29government, the French government, they
- 1:30:30won't be able to pretend like this
- 1:30:32didn't happen. And they'll have to
- 1:30:35respond. And once they do, Putin will
- 1:30:36have his pretext to say, "Ah, NATO is
- 1:30:40now aggressively moving against Russia.
- 1:30:42Now I can justify a large-scale
- 1:30:44mobilization, putting enough troops on
- 1:30:46the battlefield to win the war." Will
- 1:30:48escalation work? Maybe, because again,
- 1:30:50the key lynchpin of NATO, which is the
- 1:30:54United States, has been pretty clear
- 1:30:56that they don't view themselves as
- 1:30:59having loyalty to NATO. They think NATO
- 1:31:01is a waste of time and stupid and
- 1:31:03exploitive. And in that context, Russia
- 1:31:06may say, "Listen, this is a narrow
- 1:31:07window, a few really just about 30 more
- 1:31:10months in which Russia says we can
- 1:31:14coersse NATO in ways that may not be
- 1:31:16possible when a new administration comes
- 1:31:19in, one that might be more pro-NATO."
- 1:31:22Anyway, guys, hit subscribe if you
- 1:31:24haven't. Huge thank you to Colin, Dan,
- 1:31:25Deborah, Don, Douglas, Gabriel, GMAT,
- 1:31:27James, and all the lieutenant here
- 1:31:28folks. Again, we so appreciate you guys.
- 1:31:31Um, and go ahead and check out strike um
- 1:31:33with promo code Halloween 20.
- 1:31:36Okay,
- 1:31:38I see some of you guys. Ace Cams, what
- 1:31:39do you think will finally be the trigger
- 1:31:41where Putin negotiates in a position of
- 1:31:43weakness losing Crimea? China tells them
- 1:31:45to stop Democrats. Um, it's all China
- 1:31:48telling them to stop or China would tell
- 1:31:50them, "Hey man, make a deal and they
- 1:31:52would do it." Um the Russian war machine
- 1:31:55basically short version Putin is going
- 1:31:58to keep fighting as long as violence
- 1:31:59achieves him more than uh negotiating.
- 1:32:03That's the bottom line. So Putin needs
- 1:32:05to experience meaningful battlefield
- 1:32:07losses by the metrics he cares about
- 1:32:09which is of course getting his gains
- 1:32:11rolled back on the battlefield. He needs
- 1:32:12to go from controlling um 80% of Donbest
- 1:32:15to 79 to 78 77 76. He needs to lose that
- 1:32:19control cuz territory taken is his
- 1:32:22metric for success. I I don't think
- 1:32:23that's a a secret. And once he sees
- 1:32:26that, then he's going to start cutting
- 1:32:28become interested in cutting sincere
- 1:32:30deals.
- 1:32:33Again, it's classic. You get what you
- 1:32:35incentivize. Art Ice reminder of how
- 1:32:37much of a humanitarian Putin is not long
- 1:32:38ago Russia bomb civilians waiting for
- 1:32:40food or relief in Kamu Kavka
- 1:32:43Kamu
- 1:32:46Kovka killing at least 26. talking about
- 1:32:48dead Russians indeed. Yeah. Yeah. And
- 1:32:51remember,
- 1:32:52a humanitarian crisis um that is 100% of
- 1:32:55Russia's making. Mr. Naughty, thanks for
- 1:32:57the 10. Your videos are awesome. Oh,
- 1:32:58yeah. We saw that. Um yeah, kills me
- 1:33:01because it's a humanitarian crisis of
- 1:33:02Russia's making and doing. The the
- 1:33:05Ukrainians have contributed nothing to
- 1:33:06that because they don't control the
- 1:33:07village. Um,
- 1:33:10so and again it's not like the
- 1:33:12Ukrainians I mean they they are morally
- 1:33:15superior because they are defending
- 1:33:16their country from an an imperialist
- 1:33:18aggressor. Um, but also because the
- 1:33:20Ukrainians are like listen if we commit
- 1:33:22war crimes the Europeans are going to
- 1:33:23stop funding us because they legally
- 1:33:24cannot. So I'm confident when I say the
- 1:33:27Ukrainians don't didn't contribute to
- 1:33:30anything that's happened in Alleski.
- 1:33:31They also just aren't in the business of
- 1:33:33killing their own people. That just
- 1:33:34isn't something the Ukrainians have
- 1:33:36done. Anyway, guys, uh I really
- 1:33:39appreciate you. Uh I got a bunch of
- 1:33:40other stuff to do because, you know, uh
- 1:33:44life's crazy, but we're going to be
- 1:33:46doing an election live stream tomorrow.
- 1:33:48Election day, baby. And we're going to
- 1:33:51talk about all of it. So, uh
- 1:33:59thank you guys. I'm going to see you
- 1:34:00guys in the next one. Peace out and
- 1:34:02cheers.
