Lawrence County’s long wait for an emergency room just got a major update — a brand-new $14 million urgent care facility is set to break ground this fall on Highway 24 in Moulton, offering imaging, labs, therapy, and room to expand. While the dream remains a freestanding ER, officials say this phased approach is critical after Lawrence Medical Center shuttered its ER over a year ago. Mayor Ryan Jolly and State Rep.
