What does the Bible say about slavery? -The Bible imposed strict laws on acquiring, managing, and releasing slaves. 2. How should we relate to those in authority over us? -Obey them within the will of God. -Respect them with a sincere heart. -Honor them whether they are present or absent. 3. Why should we honor those in authority over us? -Because God will reward our obedience. -Because all people will be judged equally. -Because God holds authority over all authority.
