- 0:52Speaker 2: Jeremiah chapter three. This chapter is powerful because it reveals
- 0:58Speaker 2: the heart of God towards a rebellious people. Even after betrayal,
- 1:05Speaker 2: spiritual idolatry, rebellion, God still calls his people to return
- 1:12Speaker 2: to him. So today's message is called return to Me.

- 1:42Speaker 2: life is a narrow path and it's a difficult road
- 1:46Speaker 2: to follow. But if we encourage each other in fellowship,
- 1:55Speaker 2: I believe that it can make this journey a lot
- 2:00Speaker 2: easier when we walk together. So in order to do that,

- 2:54Speaker 2: will see your comment if you reach out to us,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and we will love the shout you out right back
- 3:01Speaker 2: here live on the podcast. And that's how we do
- 3:05Speaker 2: right here, only his Hop Network. All right, let's go
- 3:12Speaker 2: to the Father evenly, Father, thank you, Father God for
- 3:16Speaker 2: this opportunity to spend time in your word. Father God,
- 3:19Speaker 2: we just asked Lord that you will be pleased, that
- 3:22Speaker 2: you will lift up your countenance, and that you will
- 3:25Speaker 2: use this podcast in a mighty way. Lord. We ask
- 3:29Speaker 2: a God that this podcast will be faithful to go
- 3:32Speaker 2: through your word and faithful to feed your people, faithful
- 3:36Speaker 2: to reach people for the Gospel so that they can
- 3:40Speaker 2: come to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for themselves.
- 3:45Speaker 2: We want to see people saved, delivered, healed, and set free.
- 3:52Speaker 2: And we proclaim all of this in the mighty name
- 3:55Speaker 2: of Jesus. Amen. All right, let's do this. Jeremiah chapter three,
- 4:06Speaker 2: verse one, and I'm gonna hit you with the New
- 4:08Speaker 2: King James version. And it says they say, if a
- 4:15Speaker 2: man divorced his wife and she goes from him and
- 4:19Speaker 2: becomes another man's, may he return to her again? Would
- 4:27Speaker 2: not that land be greatly polluted? But you have played
- 4:33Speaker 2: the har lit with many lovers, Yet return to me,
- 4:39Speaker 2: says the Lord. Amen. Now God began this verse with
- 4:45Speaker 2: a shocking comparison right here. According to the law, a
- 4:49Speaker 2: divorced woman who we married another man could not simply
- 4:54Speaker 2: return to her first husband. Yet God says something in
- 5:00Speaker 2: right here, even though you have been unfaithful, returned to me?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Is your committed spiritual adultery through idolatry. Yet God's mercy
- 5:16Speaker 2: was still reaching out to them. This reminds me of
- 5:19Speaker 2: the song I was greatly heartbreaking in my earlier years.
- 5:27Speaker 2: This is my thirty relationship and the person that I
- 5:35Speaker 2: was in a relationship with decided to be unfaithful. This
- 5:41Speaker 2: is right around the time when that song came out
- 5:45Speaker 2: by Boys to Men End of the Road. And this
- 5:50Speaker 2: is what this verse reminds me of because even in
- 5:53Speaker 2: that song by Boys and Men, that guy says, you
- 5:56Speaker 2: know what he knew about the other fella. He knew
- 6:00Speaker 2: that she was out dipping and tripping. Then he says,
- 6:04Speaker 2: but come back to me, even though I still want
- 6:07Speaker 2: you back, And he's like, you just don't know how
- 6:11Speaker 2: much I love you? Did you? And that right there
- 6:15Speaker 2: reflects the heart of God. In this verse. He is saying,
- 6:19Speaker 2: just come back now. This reverse. This verse reveals the
- 6:27Speaker 2: amazing grace of God. Israel repeatedly abandoned God for idols,
- 6:34Speaker 2: yet God still invited them back into a relationship. Now,
- 6:41Speaker 2: this demonstrate God's heart for restoration instead of judgment. If
- 6:48Speaker 2: God can restore us, that's his will is for all
- 6:53Speaker 2: men to be restored, that all men will come to repentance.
- 6:57Speaker 2: He does not want to see us so family. This
- 7:03Speaker 2: is powerful because many people believe they have gone way
- 7:07Speaker 2: too far for God to forgive them. But Jeremiah chapter
- 7:13Speaker 2: three reveals a God who still says return to me.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Hey man, that's a T shirt returned to me. No
- 7:25Speaker 2: matter how broken someone feels, no matter how far you
- 7:32Speaker 2: have wandered, God still extends mercy to those who have
- 7:42Speaker 2: a repented heart. A man, that is beautiful. That's a
- 7:49Speaker 2: praise right there. Hallelujah. All right. Verse two, lift up
- 7:54Speaker 2: your eyes to the desolate heights, and see where you
- 7:59Speaker 2: have not lane with men by the road you have
- 8:03Speaker 2: set for them as the Arabian in the wilderness. And
- 8:09Speaker 2: you have polluted the land with your heart, trees, and
- 8:13Speaker 2: your wickedness. See God, he has to expose the truth
- 8:19Speaker 2: in order to get to the healing process. Amen. God
- 8:24Speaker 2: describes how widespread Israel's idolatry had become. Their sin was public, aggressive,
- 8:32Speaker 2: and continual. The imagery shows spiritual corruption spreading throughout the land. Now,
- 8:40Speaker 2: sin never stays contained as much as we think we
- 8:46Speaker 2: can control it, as much as we think we can
- 8:48Speaker 2: contain as much as we think where we are in charge. Sin,
- 8:56Speaker 2: once embraced, will spread into every area of life, and
- 9:04Speaker 2: it will spread in every area of culture. Sin always
- 9:10Speaker 2: affects more than the one individual. When people reject God publicly, eventually, families, communities,
- 9:22Speaker 2: and entire cultures begin drifting into darkness. That's why believers
- 9:30Speaker 2: must remain grounded in the truth. Amen, believers must stay
- 9:37Speaker 2: in ten toes down. And we can see this. We're
- 9:42Speaker 2: living this in the country that we're in right now,
- 9:44Speaker 2: in the United States of America. We used to be
- 9:48Speaker 2: a light to the world, but we have drifted so
- 9:54Speaker 2: far into darkness it is heartbreaking. Verse three. Therefore the
- 10:02Speaker 2: showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain.
- 10:10Speaker 2: You have had a harlot forehead. You refuse to be ashamed. Wow,
- 10:21Speaker 2: because of rebellion, judgment came up on the land through drought.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yet even after consequences appeared, the people still refuse to repent.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Does this sound like today? Amen? One of the most
- 10:44Speaker 2: dangerous spiritual conditions is losing the ability to blush over sin.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Let me say that again. One of the most dangerous
- 10:55Speaker 2: spiritual conditions is losing they to blush over sin. When
- 11:03Speaker 2: conviction appears, compromise, I mean, when conviction disappears, excuse me,
- 11:14Speaker 2: compromise will increase. Today people celebrate things that once brought shame. Right.
- 11:24Speaker 2: People used to do these things in the closet. Now
- 11:26Speaker 2: they parade it in the streets. But the Holy Spirit
- 11:31Speaker 2: convicts us because God loves us and wants us to
- 11:35Speaker 2: be restored back to Him. But a hardened heart ignores
- 11:42Speaker 2: the correction. A humbled heart responds to it. If your
- 11:51Speaker 2: heart is hardened in the conviction of the Holy Spirit,
- 11:56Speaker 2: cannot penetrate and get through. Be careful, beloved. That is
- 12:02Speaker 2: a dangerous place to be, because if God can't reach you,
- 12:05Speaker 2: nobody can. Amen. Verse four and five. Will you not
- 12:18Speaker 2: from this time cry to me my father, you are
- 12:23Speaker 2: the guide of my youth. Will he remain angry forever?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Will he keep it to the end? Behold, you have
- 12:37Speaker 2: spoken and done evil things as you are able. Now
- 12:44Speaker 2: let's break this down. Now. The people spoke religious words,
- 12:50Speaker 2: but their actions continued in rebellion. They wanted God's forgiveness
- 12:56Speaker 2: without genuine repentance. All right, They wanted God to forgive them,
- 13:02Speaker 2: but they didn't really want to turn from their actions.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Our word religious language means nothing when the heart remains unchanged.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Let me say that again. Our word religious language means
- 13:22Speaker 2: nothing when you have a heart that remains unchanged. We
- 13:31Speaker 2: have to allow the Gospel and the Holy Spirit to
- 13:34Speaker 2: change us. Amen. God is not looking for fake repentance.
- 13:43Speaker 2: He's not impressed by empty words if there's no surrender
- 13:49Speaker 2: behind them. We have to put some surrender behind our words. Amen.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Real repentance changes direction, it changes priority, and it changes behavior.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Let me say this again. Real repentance changes direction, it
- 14:11Speaker 2: will change priorities, and it will change behavior. Six to seven.
- 14:20Speaker 2: The Lord said also to me, in the days of
- 14:25Speaker 2: Josiah the King, have you seen what backsliding Israel has done.
- 14:33Speaker 2: She has gone up on every high mountain and under
- 14:38Speaker 2: every green tree, and there played the harlot. And I said,
- 14:44Speaker 2: after she has done all these things, returned to me.
- 14:49Speaker 2: But she did not return, and her treacherous sister Judah
- 14:55Speaker 2: saw it. Now, God in peers Israel and Judah, as
- 15:03Speaker 2: two sisters. Israel rebelled openly. Yet Judah watched the consequences
- 15:11Speaker 2: instill continued in sin. Now that is just straight insane.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Now me, I am raising four children, three older sisters
- 15:27Speaker 2: and one little brother. And when the two older sisters
- 15:33Speaker 2: get into trouble, I say to the third one, look,
- 15:37Speaker 2: you saw what happened. You know the consequences. And I
- 15:41Speaker 2: even told her about this story in the Bible, how
- 15:44Speaker 2: Judah saw the northern Kingdom Israel and still continued in sin.
- 15:53Speaker 2: In the Bible called her treacherous. This is guy's heart,
- 15:58Speaker 2: his attitude. He called, oh, Judah, the treacherous sister. This
- 16:06Speaker 2: is Almighty God talking like, I don't know about you,
- 16:10Speaker 2: but that's serious. You know, I definitely don't want to
- 16:13Speaker 2: be called treacherous. Now, God compaars Israel and Judah. And
- 16:22Speaker 2: note this that Judah failed to learn from Israel's judgment. Now,
- 16:28Speaker 2: if you can remember, after King Solomon, the kingdom was
- 16:33Speaker 2: divided into two tribes or in the south, which was
- 16:37Speaker 2: Judah and Benjamin, and the rest of the tribes were
- 16:41Speaker 2: in the north, and that is considered the nation of Israel.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Then you have Judah. And so they saw Israel rebel
- 16:52Speaker 2: and get judged, and instead of repenting after seeing the destruction,
- 16:58Speaker 2: they repeated this same sin like really, I mean, I
- 17:08Speaker 2: can't be too hard on them because we do the
- 17:10Speaker 2: same thing. Now, one of the saddest things was when
- 17:17Speaker 2: people ignore warnings. Right, some people watch others destroy their
- 17:24Speaker 2: lives through sin and still walk down that same road.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Wisdom learns from both personal mistakes and mistakes of others.
- 17:39Speaker 2: We need to pray for wisdom. You man, we can
- 17:44Speaker 2: avoid a lot of heartache, and we just learn from
- 17:49Speaker 2: our parents, are learned from other people who went down
- 17:53Speaker 2: that road. Verse eight. Then I saw that for all
- 18:00Speaker 2: the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I
- 18:07Speaker 2: had to put her away and given her a certificate
- 18:13Speaker 2: of divorce. Yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear,
- 18:20Speaker 2: but went and played the harlot. Also, wow, God the
- 18:27Speaker 2: Father gave Israel divorce papers. Now Israel experienced judgment right
- 18:40Speaker 2: because of continuous rebellion. Yet still Judah refused to fear
- 18:47Speaker 2: God even when they saw the destruction. Now, persistent rebellion
- 18:56Speaker 2: eventually leads to judgment when people continuously reject God's mercy.
- 19:04Speaker 2: The key word there it is there is consistent. Consistent
- 19:07Speaker 2: rebellion will eventually lead to judgment. Grace should never be abused.
- 19:20Speaker 2: God is merciful and patient, and God is loving. But
- 19:26Speaker 2: continual rebellion hardens the heart and leads people further from him.
- 19:37Speaker 2: God's warnings are acts of love, meant to bring people
- 19:41Speaker 2: back before destruction comes. Amen. When God gives us a warning,
- 19:48Speaker 2: we need to take heed Verse nine and ten. So
- 19:54Speaker 2: it came to pass through her casual Harley, try that
- 20:01Speaker 2: she defile of the land and committed adultery with stones
- 20:08Speaker 2: and trees. And yet for all this, her treacherous sister
- 20:15Speaker 2: Judah had not turned to me with her whole heart
- 20:23Speaker 2: in but in pretense, says the Lord, Hum, All right,
- 20:31Speaker 2: let's break this down. Judah appeared religious outwardly, but inwardly
- 20:38Speaker 2: their hearts remained far from God. How many of us
- 20:45Speaker 2: have fallen in that trap, and how many of us
- 20:48Speaker 2: are living this out even today? Their repentance was fake,
- 20:56Speaker 2: It was only pretense. God sees beyond outward appearance and
- 21:04Speaker 2: examines the sincerity of the heart. Family. God doesn't want
- 21:13Speaker 2: surface level Christianity. He wants hearts fully surrendered to him.
- 21:23Speaker 2: He doesn't want performance. He does not want image management,
- 21:32Speaker 2: not church attendance without transformation. God desires genuine relationship, and
- 21:43Speaker 2: so should we, all right, let that fall into our spirits.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Right there, as we take a quick break.
- 21:54Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 21:58Speaker 3: is the his hop radio show.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Visus. This is something press of a weapon. If this
- 22:05Speaker 1: is lit by Yo, heavenly Father, forgive me before my
- 22:07Speaker 1: this wept and behave to get mentioned. They say, youod
- 22:09Speaker 1: this ain't safe if we come from don't trump hitting
- 22:11Speaker 1: my cake. Where we come from, it's just of us

- 22:15Speaker 1: Don't wait for me. Hell on my pain, get over me?
- 22:18Speaker 1: What I mean? I ain't care they noticed me. Now

- 23:01Speaker 3: Call on this castle teams just for what's Don't get

- 23:05Speaker 1: I guess someone. So I'm leting ne go, But don't

- 23:14Speaker 4: I can't I want. You can't say, man wish Please
- 23:18Speaker 4: just sound up his sanity.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I got a whole lot of people that's matter me.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Ask me if I care.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Don't ask me if my dog's will pull up with them?
- 23:25Speaker 4: Shot say I will play over there. I ain't need

- 23:40Speaker 1: Go rid the god then don't talk every day. And
- 23:42Speaker 1: he told me that I need to that you don't
- 23:44Speaker 1: need because people is crazy.
- 23:45Speaker 4: They shoot over everything. Color police, They shoot up every
- 23:48Speaker 4: scene like they got a Sony red red be macholl
- 23:50Speaker 4: everybody them cheeze, come up everything, Camernna kill you over

- 28:40Speaker 2: singing what's up to y'all? W come and say what's
- 28:42Speaker 2: up to the crew, and also come so that you
- 28:46Speaker 2: can challenge our brothers in the trivia. We're gonna see
- 28:51Speaker 2: who is the trivia champion today. Zone said, the trivia's
- 28:56Speaker 2: been kind of tough lately, so I'm glad we're giving
- 29:02Speaker 2: them a little competition. All right, So the question today
- 29:07Speaker 2: is which profit con frantic king A have and the
- 29:12Speaker 2: profits of ball on Mount Carmel. Let me say that again,
- 29:18Speaker 2: which profit confronted king A havel and the profits of
- 29:23Speaker 2: ball on Mount Carml. And I'll give you in if
- 29:31Speaker 2: you want to look up the scripture, read First Kings
- 29:34Speaker 2: chapter eighteen, and that I'll give you an idea. All right,
- 29:43Speaker 2: it's time for our community shout out. This is where
- 29:46Speaker 2: we give you updates of up and coming events or
- 29:49Speaker 2: past events. Just what we've been doing throughout the community
- 29:54Speaker 2: as an organization is how Nations started as a Christian
- 29:58Speaker 2: hip hop club in twenty twelve. We're looking to relaunch
- 30:02Speaker 2: and we opened the club. We believe that it's a
- 30:05Speaker 2: great spot, a great opportunity for youth and young adults
- 30:09Speaker 2: to come and get some fellowship, get some positive influence
- 30:14Speaker 2: in our community. And also want to let you know
- 30:19Speaker 2: our DJ services are available. I just did a three
- 30:24Speaker 2: day conference. Glory to God, Thank you Lord for this
- 30:28Speaker 2: open door. But since I began this DJ business, I've
- 30:35Speaker 2: gotten a lot of gigs, gigs that I never thought
- 30:39Speaker 2: I would get. I just did a three day conference
- 30:43Speaker 2: for a regional Exchange Club event at the Golden Nugget
- 30:50Speaker 2: Hotel and Casino out in the We were in the
- 30:53Speaker 2: Grand Ballroom and man, it was great. It was great.
- 31:00Speaker 2: They were serving lunch and dinner and you know, I
- 31:04Speaker 2: was able to provide the music. I was able to
- 31:07Speaker 2: do a little mix towards the end. And also we
- 31:10Speaker 2: have started our photo booth business as well, so we
- 31:14Speaker 2: brought our three sixty in there and the people loved it.
- 31:19Speaker 2: It was amazing. If you follow our social media links,
- 31:22Speaker 2: you'll see some of the events, some of the highlights,
- 31:26Speaker 2: some clips of what's going on. And so we're gonna
- 31:30Speaker 2: shop around to some of these schools. We know that
- 31:34Speaker 2: a summer's coming up, we know that the schools have
- 31:38Speaker 2: events all the time and churches, local churches around here
- 31:44Speaker 2: will probably be looking for a DJ, a Christian gospel
- 31:47Speaker 2: DJ equipped with photo booth lighting. We got a smoke machine.
- 31:52Speaker 2: We can really make take your event to the next level.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And if we really want to go there, you know,
- 31:58Speaker 2: we'll bring our podcasts. And so speaking of that, we
- 32:03Speaker 2: got a business mixer coming up. We will be with
- 32:05Speaker 2: the mayor, we will be with some heavy hitters. It
- 32:12Speaker 2: will be held at the Exhort World and actually you
- 32:16Speaker 2: guys are invited. It's free to the public. Give out
- 32:20Speaker 2: dates and information. As we get closer to the event.
- 32:24Speaker 2: We're still putting things together and we will be putting
- 32:28Speaker 2: a flyer together as well. So make sure you guys
- 32:32Speaker 2: come on out to our next event, the Resort World,
- 32:37Speaker 2: come and meet us in person, and yeah, let it
- 32:44Speaker 2: do what it do. Also, we want to let you
- 32:55Speaker 2: know that it's how radio is. I mean. His Hop
- 33:00Speaker 2: Nation is a nonprofit organization. We are at five oh
- 33:04Speaker 2: one Seed three public charity. We are not a church.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Some people mistake us as though we are a church.
- 33:14Speaker 2: No we are not. We are a nonprofit organization. We
- 33:18Speaker 2: are faith based, but we are a venue. We are
- 33:23Speaker 2: a club. We are an event center, and we also
- 33:27Speaker 2: have programs for the youth to mentor to disciple. Parting
- 33:33Speaker 2: to our youth. We work with the juvenile detention centers
- 33:36Speaker 2: to work with local schools and our local police departments.
- 33:41Speaker 2: But we need your support. We need your support to
- 33:44Speaker 2: relaunch or reopen the club. We are asking for donations, supporters,
- 33:50Speaker 2: monthly supporters, sponsors, grants, grant writers, volunteers. There's a spot
- 33:57Speaker 2: for all of us there. If you would like to donate,
- 34:02Speaker 2: then mind you, it's a tax write off. It's a
- 34:06Speaker 2: tax deduction. You can do so on our website, his
- 34:09Speaker 2: Hot Nation dot com, or you can do so on
- 34:13Speaker 2: the app, his Hot Radio on all platforms. So we
- 34:17Speaker 2: want to give a huge shout out to the Exchange
- 34:19Speaker 2: Club for allowing us to service them during this three
- 34:24Speaker 2: day conference at the Golden Nugget. It was nothing but amazing. Man.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Well that's my time, but love it. But before we
- 34:41Speaker 2: get out of here, we're gonna close in prayer. I've
- 34:46Speaker 2: got a few final comments about today's episode. I do
- 34:51Speaker 2: want to thank everyone who listens and downloads us podcast.
- 34:55Speaker 2: You find us on all different platforms. We see you
- 35:00Speaker 2: people are tuning in by the hundreds and we thank you.

- 35:07Speaker 2: Hishop his Hout Radio on all platforms. Now. Jeremiah three
- 35:15Speaker 2: reminds us that God is incredibly merciful, but he also
- 35:22Speaker 2: calls for genuine repentance. Now, this chapter confronts spiritual compromise,
- 35:31Speaker 2: fake repentance, hardened hearts, rebellion, religious performances. But the beautiful
- 35:40Speaker 2: message throughout this chapter is this, God still says, return
- 35:46Speaker 2: to me. No matter how far someone has wondered, God's
- 35:55Speaker 2: grace is still available available to those who truly repent.
- 36:01Speaker 2: All he is saying is return to me boom. That
- 36:09Speaker 2: is beautiful, That is powerful, and we have to be
- 36:15Speaker 2: stubborn not to take him up on this offer. God
- 36:21Speaker 2: is trying to save us from judgment and certain death.
- 36:26Speaker 2: It's a daily maintenance, beloved, it is a daily walk.
- 36:29Speaker 2: We need to be in the Word daily. We need
- 36:31Speaker 2: to be in prayer daily. We need to seek face
- 36:34Speaker 2: daily or we will automatically drift. We need to prioritize
- 36:39Speaker 2: him number one on our list. And I pray that
- 36:50Speaker 2: after this podcast we will begin to put this in action.
- 36:54Speaker 2: I'm talking to all of us, Amen, Let's pray Father, God,
- 37:03Speaker 2: thank you for your mercy and patience towards us. Father,
- 37:09Speaker 2: forgive us for every area where we have drifted away
- 37:13Speaker 2: from you, Remove every hardened area in our hearts, and
- 37:20Speaker 2: teach us genuine repentance. Help us not to live in
- 37:26Speaker 2: pretense but insincerity and in truth. Draw us back into
- 37:36Speaker 2: close relationship with you, Father. And we ask this Father, God,
- 37:41Speaker 2: in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and Amen. All right,
