  Speaker 1: they've won a national title here recently, Georgia, you know,

  Speaker 1: but Oregon, I mean, everybody talks, Hey, this is the

  Speaker 1: year for Oregon. Everybody I rolls, it's the year for
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: Notre Dame I roll, Texas, IE roll Indiana. I don't

  Speaker 1: think there's a lot of IE roll in there. Miami,

  Speaker 1: not as much Texas, A and m I roll Ole
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: Miss Oklahoma. I bring that up because there's some really
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: really good teams in the top ten, top fifteen, top twenty,
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: but just there's we're looking for that next team to
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: prove they belong and wh when you say belong, that
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: they hoist the trophy being an Oregon A, Notre Dame,
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: A Texas it's been a while, Texas A and m
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: ole Miss Oklahoma. It's been a while. There's a lot

  Speaker 1: of teams that are spending a lot of money that
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: are looking for that, you know, kind of that mountaintop
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: performance that we have not seen from them.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, no question about it. I mean, so we'll just

  Speaker 2: take them. I mean, look, we don't know how things
• 2:06
  Speaker 2: are gonna come together. Let's take Notre Dames loaded on defense.

  Speaker 2: They got a really good quarterback. Do they have enough
• 2:13
  Speaker 2: playmakers to win that type of game? We'll see. They
• 2:18
  Speaker 2: certainly deserve to be mentioned among the very best. I

  Speaker 2: don't know that they mean that means that they end
• 2:23
  Speaker 2: up winning at all. We know that Texas is really good,
• 2:28
  Speaker 2: you know, you know, they had a developing, younger quarterback
• 2:35
  Speaker 2: with an in offensive line. Now they're better. They've got
• 2:39
  Speaker 2: great special teams. They get their toughest games at home.

  Speaker 2: I think it's fair to question whether they can get
• 2:48
  Speaker 2: it all done. But I mean, if you think about it,
• 2:50
  Speaker 2: it's I mean, if you don't make it to the
• 2:54
  Speaker 2: championship game or win it, they're gonna say, oh, well,
• 2:57
  Speaker 2: you can name five of these teams. I mean even
• 3:00
  Speaker 2: pretty much not only two of them are gonna get
• 3:03
  Speaker 2: to the championship games. So it's probably gonna be eye
• 3:06
  Speaker 2: rolls again. But the reality is, I think Notre Dame
• 3:09
  Speaker 2: is good. I think Texas is good. I don't know
• 3:13
  Speaker 2: that that I'm ready to put A and M in
• 3:15
  Speaker 2: our Old Miss in the category. Uh in Oregon. You know,
• 3:19
  Speaker 2: Oregon is is every bit as good as capable of
• 3:23
  Speaker 2: getting there. But I don't know that I would put
• 3:25
  Speaker 2: A and M or Old Miss quite in that category.
• 3:28
  Speaker 2: But there's certainly a team, two teams that can maybe
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: make the playoffs. And as we kind of found out
• 3:33
  Speaker 2: last year, you never know. Ole Miss has the look
• 3:37
  Speaker 2: they've got the quarterback that they get into the playoffs
• 3:39
  Speaker 2: last year that I think they were as good as Georgia. No,
• 3:43
  Speaker 2: and quite frankly, without spectacular play by the quarterback, they
• 3:49
  Speaker 2: don't win that game, but they do have that and
• 3:51
  Speaker 2: if they get in nobody want to play them, And
• 3:55
  Speaker 2: maybe that could happen too with A and M with
• 3:58
  Speaker 2: if Reid steps up and and makes big time plays,
• 4:01
  Speaker 2: because I think that's gonna be a really good defense.
• 4:04
  Speaker 2: So yeah, it will be fun to see. And look,
• 4:06
  Speaker 2: I mean, Texas Tech kind of made their way there
• 4:09
  Speaker 2: and they're gonna be good again, although BYU is gonna
• 4:12
  Speaker 2: be good. So I think what's gonna happen is is
• 4:15
  Speaker 2: you're gonna have teams. Maybe let's use Texas Tech as
• 4:19
  Speaker 2: an example. Maybe it's a BYU, maybe it's an SMU,
• 4:24
  Speaker 2: somebody that's gonna get into the playoffs and maybe do
• 4:28
  Speaker 2: pretty well in there, or maybe win again like Ole
• 4:31
  Speaker 2: Miss did last year beating Georgia, and all of a sudden,
• 4:34
  Speaker 2: there's gonna be a different profile in the eyes of fans. Hey,
• 4:40
  Speaker 2: look out, they're really good. And then but the big
• 4:44
  Speaker 2: time boys when they were gonna win it all and
• 4:47
  Speaker 2: all this kind of talk that they don't do it,
• 4:49
  Speaker 2: people are gonna always question until they do.

  Speaker 1: Chris, Let's move over to the NFL. Obviously, preseason is

  Speaker 1: going on. What's some of the storylines or teams maybe
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: or play it's kind of stuck out to you here

  Speaker 1: in the early going. You know, obviously it is preseason,
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: we take out of the context, but we've seen, you know,
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: Fernando Mendoza with a pretty nice performance, Carson Beck has
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: played fairly well when he's been available, Tya Simpson in
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: some in some makeup time as well, just kind of
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: some things. You kind of been pleasantly surprised within the NFL.
• 5:18
  Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I don't know about surprise, but man,
• 5:20
  Speaker 2: I just I love the Jeremiah love and what he's
• 5:23
  Speaker 2: doing thus for. And I know he's banged up a
• 5:26
  Speaker 2: little bit, but he's looked really good. You know. I think,
• 5:30
  Speaker 2: you know, we're all kind of wondering if Aaron Donald
• 5:33
  Speaker 2: I think he's gonna come back, it's gonna put you know,
• 5:36
  Speaker 2: the Rams in that position. I here's what comes out

  Speaker 2: jumps out to me. I'm there's in no order, how

  Speaker 2: good will Buffalo be? Will their defense be good enough?
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: It's all awful. If Josh Allen doesn't win the issue,

  Speaker 2: what does it mean? It'll mean that the defense is
• 5:52
  Speaker 2: not good enough. And you know, so that's gonna be
• 5:55
  Speaker 2: key there. And then I'm curious to see can the

  Speaker 2: Bengals do enough on defense. I'm curious to see what's
• 6:05
  Speaker 2: gonna happen at quarterbacks of Cleveland. Is Deshaun Watson maybe

  Speaker 2: gonna win that job? You know? I think Denver is

  Speaker 2: you could absolutely make them the favorite in the West.

  Speaker 2: I don't necessarily think it's Kansas City anymore. I think

  Speaker 2: Denver is that good. But you know what, Kansas City,
• 6:27
  Speaker 2: with their quarterback as good as Mahomes is, could he overtaken?

  Speaker 2: And then what about the charges? Then the NFC it's like, hey,

  Speaker 2: you know, Dallas has made some intriguing moves. What about
• 6:38
  Speaker 2: their death? How much better will Washington get with the
• 6:43
  Speaker 2: Jaden Daniels back healthy? And then you know a lot
• 6:46
  Speaker 2: of pressure is gonna be on Nick Sirianni and Jalen
• 6:50
  Speaker 2: Hurts in Philadelphia. Who's gonna win the South? I mean,

  Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you, I can flip one through four
• 6:58
  Speaker 2: in the NFC South and flip four with one, and

  Speaker 2: I wouldn't flip an eigh lights. I mean, I don't know,

  Speaker 2: you know, we we're You're in ire in Saints Country.

  Speaker 2: They can finish first, they can finish fourth. I don't

  Speaker 2: think there's much separating them. And then I just really

  Speaker 2: intrigued by the north. Can the Bears make that that jump?

  Speaker 2: Is that Green Bay is at Detroit? Uh? And and

  Speaker 2: then the west to me, it's just that's gonna be
• 7:23
  Speaker 2: a dogfight. I mean, the Rams look so good. But
• 7:26
  Speaker 2: let's just remind everybody how good Seattle is and will
• 7:29
  Speaker 2: be again. It's gonna be a lot of fun, but
• 7:32
  Speaker 2: a lot of question marks. I kill everybody, sit back, uh,
• 7:37
  Speaker 2: you know, enjoy the first four five regular season games.

  Speaker 2: Then you start to see things settle in a little bit.

  Speaker 2: You start to see who's pretty good, and then quite frankly,
• 7:50
  Speaker 2: it's gonna be that that middle part that game six
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: through like Thanksgiving weekend, and that's when you start to
• 7:57
  Speaker 2: see who kind of settles in and the real teams
• 8:01
  Speaker 2: to beat. And then then you got to have some
• 8:03
  Speaker 2: luck from a health standpoint, I see seasons get derilled
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: all the time. Some things given time.

  Speaker 1: in San Francisco? Sounds like they do have more injuries anybody.

  Speaker 2: I don't know. And injuries. We always studied injuries. We

  Speaker 2: always wondered if we're doing the right things from a

  Speaker 2: conditioning standpoint, or we were doing enough in the off
• 8:42
  Speaker 2: season or too much. But some of the injuries, it
• 8:46
  Speaker 2: really depends on the injury. If you have a lot
• 8:48
  Speaker 2: of poles and things like that, that may be applicable.

  Speaker 2: But man, some of the stuff is just we call
• 8:54
  Speaker 2: the buzzer's luck. I mean, it's just you just wonder
• 8:56
  Speaker 2: what's circling over there. It's a problem. I mean, even
• 8:59
  Speaker 2: the head coach and stay out of the injury fact.

  Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's and it's it's been, it's been
• 9:05
  Speaker 2: happening now for for a couple of years. And Ben's

  Speaker 2: over there crying in his tears hit listening them right,

  Speaker 2: it's them. It's not funny, but I mean it's just

  Speaker 2: like three years, it just they were the team and

  Speaker 2: then they just injuries got them. Injuries got them. And

  Speaker 2: now you look at him and you think, okay, are

  Speaker 2: they gonna can the partners catch him? Can can they say?

  Speaker 2: I still think they're gonna be a contender for the playoffs,

  Speaker 2: but they're looking up at Seattle and the Rams at
• 9:37
  Speaker 2: least the start.
