Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back, stay out of my fridge. The boys are
- 0:03Speaker 1: back in town, and tonight Brandon recommended a little something,
- 0:07Speaker 1: So we figured we're gonna dive headfirst and not only
- 0:09Speaker 1: the sweet, but a little bit of some greasy shame
- 0:12Speaker 1: because Brandon did something with crab Rangoon that none of
- 0:16Speaker 1: us know what is happening, but it's probably gonna make
- 0:18Speaker 1: us rethink our friendship, our sodium intake, and probably gonna
- 0:22Speaker 1: hear a story where his fitbit or Apple watch. I
- 0:25Speaker 1: think he's an Apple guy was like, hey, I'm calling
- 0:28Speaker 1: the cardiologist.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Yeah. So I was thinking to myself, some of the
- 0:35Speaker 2: fattest shit I've done. And I don't mean that as
- 0:38Speaker 2: in like, oh fat, no, I'm proud of this.
- 0:41Speaker 1: This is not even a poop, the fattest poop.
- 0:44Speaker 2: No, no, no, not that. Listen. It definitely a double entendre,
- 0:49Speaker 2: but uh in the sense of the thing I've done
- 0:52Speaker 2: the most that made me feel like a fat man
- 0:54Speaker 2: when it comes to eating.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Now, this is you think this is like top tier,
- 0:59Speaker 1: top five, top ten.
- 1:02Speaker 2: It's I wouldn't say the top but it's definitely top ten.
- 1:05Speaker 2: But it was one I was I was thinking of
- 1:06Speaker 2: last night and it just reminded me of different times
- 1:09Speaker 2: where I'll give you an example, or we'll warm our
- 1:11Speaker 2: way up to it. You get a You got anybody
- 1:14Speaker 2: here a fan of Warreos?
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:18Speaker 1: Uh, I don't know if I know. Do I know
- 1:20Speaker 1: what those are? I know Warrio the character Oreos, the
- 1:23Speaker 1: cookies I take war My bad, I did oos. But anyway, yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 1: I know that character. I used them a couple of
- 1:32Speaker 1: times a Mario Kart.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I just played with him.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Ok.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Is that what you called it?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Wow, Yes, we learned so much.
- 1:41Speaker 2: He called it the Warrio wobbler, which, let me tell you.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But but oreos. Take oreos and I would I dip
- 1:49Speaker 2: them in peanut butter and then eat them with milk,
- 1:51Speaker 2: which is just an extra step. It's not that big again,
- 1:54Speaker 2: warm in the up here? What I question?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't fly by this. I got a question.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Can you put them on a fork after and then
- 2:01Speaker 1: let it soak in the milk a little bit?
- 2:02Speaker 2: No? Because I'm I'm I'm not usually that guy. What
- 2:06Speaker 2: I have done it's even fatter, is I have filled
- 2:09Speaker 2: an entire glass stacked with oreos and then just poured
- 2:12Speaker 2: milk on top of it and then eat it with
- 2:15Speaker 2: a spoon afterwards, which it's you're basically drinking like baby
- 2:21Speaker 2: milk cookie baby cookie milk, you know, because it's like
- 2:25Speaker 2: what it is at that point, you're not eating cookies anymore.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Speaking of baby cookie milk, but before we get to sidetracked,
- 2:30Speaker 1: did you see that they're actually making was a breast
- 2:33Speaker 1: milk ice cream? Did you see that I put that
- 2:35Speaker 1: in the in the group chat?
- 2:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Also side note Instagram, you moving the chat button
- 2:42Speaker 1: has really messed with me. I don't know if it's
- 2:44Speaker 1: hit your update yet. Now I was always in mine,
- 2:46Speaker 1: was always in the top corner. Now it's in the
- 2:48Speaker 1: bottom middle, and it's annoying the hell out of me.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Don't you guys didn't have that.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I don't probably have enough memory to updates cream at
- 2:57Speaker 3: this point.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm sure they did it for a reason.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But right here, Yeah, freeda I think that's how you say.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Frida unveils breast milk flavored ice cream. Freeda baby on
- 3:10Speaker 1: Instagram just announced breast milk flavored ice cream. And it's
- 3:15Speaker 1: not Listen, this is before April Fools and this comes
- 3:18Speaker 1: out after. This isn't a joke. They really did.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Nope, that's gonna be a heavy note for me.
- 3:24Speaker 3: No.
- 3:24Speaker 2: But one of the other things I've done that's really
- 3:26Speaker 2: fat was, have you guys ever had the really cheap
- 3:29Speaker 2: cookies from Walgreens, like the the frosted oatmeal cookies, like
- 3:33Speaker 2: the little mini Oreo cookies that they're like a dollar
- 3:36Speaker 2: dollar fifty. They're cheap as hell.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I've had cheap cookies.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I think I know what you're talking about.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It's like, you know those those ghetto oatmeal cookies that
- 3:44Speaker 2: are like the hard frosted Yes, yes, you know what
- 3:47Speaker 2: I'm talking about.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I get from the Dollar Tree. And then I also
- 3:49Speaker 3: like they're always right next to the actual windmill cookies,
- 3:52Speaker 3: like remember those ones to like the gingerbread ones. Oh,
- 3:55Speaker 3: those ones are delicious.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Did you guys see Dollar Tree as going up in
- 3:58Speaker 1: price again? They went from what dollar to a dollar
- 4:00Speaker 1: twenty five and they just announced they're going to a
- 4:02Speaker 1: dollar seventy five.
- 4:04Speaker 3: There's skipping a dollar fifty's.
- 4:07Speaker 2: So what I'll do with those? They have these not
- 4:10Speaker 2: just a normal cut because you can buy the trying
- 4:12Speaker 2: to shave, but the normal sized cookies that are the
- 4:14Speaker 2: oatmeal ones that are this pig They have the mini
- 4:16Speaker 2: ones and they're just a.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Mag I would think the mini is more normal in
- 4:20Speaker 1: my world.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Sure, sure, yeah, that's still pretty big to me, guys,
- 4:24Speaker 3: I don't know what's.
- 4:25Speaker 2: About pretty strong. But but I take the bags of
- 4:28Speaker 2: the minis and I just pour them in a bowl
- 4:30Speaker 2: and I'll literally have oatmeal cookie cereal bro like straight
- 4:34Speaker 2: up just fat level. We're leveling up here, but where.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I should be writing some of this stuff down, like
- 4:40Speaker 3: the whole like scooping it with the spoon with the oreos.
- 4:43Speaker 3: That sounds delightful. I'm gonna have to rewatch. It's like
- 4:45Speaker 3: three times.
- 4:46Speaker 2: So Matt's not lying. There's a this is an old thing.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But you take the fork and you you literally take
- 4:51Speaker 2: the the Oreo cookie. You got one cookie, you got
- 4:55Speaker 2: the other cookie, you got the cream in the middle.
- 4:57Speaker 2: You put the fork right in there so then you
- 4:58Speaker 2: can just dip the cookie.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You have to imagine there's a fine line with you.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You've been in being a picky eater. You probably don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: love them super crunchy, but I'm sure you're not eating
- 5:06Speaker 1: an Oreo Saggi. But if you find that fine line
- 5:08Speaker 1: where you just let it sit in the cup for
- 5:10Speaker 1: a little bit pull it out and orgasmic. It is
- 5:15Speaker 1: some of his daughter's oreos. You're talking oreos, Da dah
- 5:20Speaker 1: that there's the peanut butter man there.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Used to make this one. I can't ever seem to
- 5:25Speaker 3: find it, so maybe I dreamed it. But there used
- 5:28Speaker 3: to be like this reverse Oreo that was a like
- 5:31Speaker 3: vanilla cracker, not cracker, but the cookie with a chocolate cream.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Oh god, I mean swear, I did not dream of these.
- 5:40Speaker 3: These were like either a limited edition or something like
- 5:42Speaker 3: that at one point in time, but they were so good.
- 5:45Speaker 1: It's funny when you when you google reverse Oreo, there
- 5:48Speaker 1: is an image that is white there. But then there
- 5:50Speaker 1: are apparently some Jordan six retro reverse Oreo shoes. But yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 1: there's a rare, rare Oreo vanilla cookie is selling an
- 5:59Speaker 1: eBay or fifty bucks a lot of shoes. Maybe you
- 6:04Speaker 1: did dream this.
- 6:06Speaker 3: There's gotta be.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Reverse Oreo fives air Jordan's let me do a reverse
- 6:11Speaker 1: Oreo cookie cookie and creams. No, well here it is
- 6:22Speaker 1: Nabisco Oreo chocolate cream.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Found it too, Yep, that's it. That's it. I'm telling
- 6:29Speaker 3: you that I always see like those two podcasters that
- 6:32Speaker 3: Joey and whatever that talk about the Spider Man pop tart.
- 6:36Speaker 3: This is my Spider Man pop tart. You give me
- 6:40Speaker 3: this reverse oreo. Whenever this came out, I can't remember
- 6:43Speaker 3: what year it was. I don't even know that who
- 6:45Speaker 3: sells it? Do we have like a fan in South
- 6:47Speaker 3: Dakota that has a small model. That's why I used
- 6:51Speaker 3: to get them. But they don't have them in my
- 6:52Speaker 3: area anymore. I haven't seen these ever. They have like
- 6:55Speaker 3: thirty different times. They have red velvet, and they had
- 6:58Speaker 3: freaking fruit punt and fruit punchory was one time and
- 7:01Speaker 3: they didn't have these. I tried. They weren't bad. They
- 7:06Speaker 3: weren't bad at all.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Huh.
- 7:09Speaker 3: But I do I like to I like to put
- 7:10Speaker 3: my index finger and my thumb submerge it into the milk.
- 7:14Speaker 3: I don't care. I don't need to fork or anything.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I like. It's almost like I'm terrorizing the cookie, like
- 7:20Speaker 3: I'm water bordered in the cookie. I like the power
- 7:22Speaker 3: of it. I just submerge all of it until the
- 7:24Speaker 3: bubbles come out. And then and it's almost to the
- 7:26Speaker 3: point where you think that cookie is gonna break when
- 7:28Speaker 3: you when it resurfaces, right, no, no, no, no no,
- 7:30Speaker 3: and then you just let it just a new just
- 7:32Speaker 3: drip out over you. That's so good. I will get
- 7:34Speaker 3: slutty with everyone's like, oh my wife always gets so much.
- 7:37Speaker 3: She's like, damn, who ate all these cookies? You know
- 7:39Speaker 3: these kids are they're they're going through it so fast.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I'm like, that was me they destroyed in the dire
- 7:44Speaker 3: sleep and get I know I should, you know, I
- 7:48Speaker 3: should do some voiceover some for some adult books. There's
- 7:53Speaker 3: there's a market for it. But those cookies, man, those
- 7:56Speaker 3: reverse ones. God, I would do some dirty things that
- 7:59Speaker 3: have to one pack of those again.
- 8:02Speaker 1: So for if you're if you're trying to google them,
- 8:04Speaker 1: they do appear to be called golden chocolate oreos mm
- 8:09Speaker 1: so instead of the reverse. And then because if you're
- 8:12Speaker 1: just getting Jordan's shoes, I feel like you've been save
- 8:15Speaker 1: up some money, get yourself some reverse oreo Jordan's. They're
- 8:18Speaker 1: only like eighty ninety bucks, And I feel like then
- 8:20Speaker 1: you could you can enjoy your sorryzoom tite, Sorry you can. Yeah,
- 8:26Speaker 1: it says odd of stock on the wallfarts for the
- 8:28Speaker 1: chocolate oreos. But I'm gonna put in your email real
- 8:31Speaker 1: quick so when they are back, you'll get an email
- 8:33Speaker 1: notification and.
- 8:34Speaker 2: When you guys seeing these oreos, I just sent you
- 8:36Speaker 2: in the chat. I tried them at a gas station
- 8:40Speaker 2: pleasantly surprised. So I just sent them for the people
- 8:43Speaker 2: listening in Coca Cola Limited Edition and I'll share the
- 8:47Speaker 2: screen here.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Not a chance in hell I'm trying them.
- 8:51Speaker 3: So it's like a watch.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 3: We we tried these a couple of months ago and
- 8:58Speaker 3: they were pleasant, so I would never just like get
- 9:01Speaker 3: them again. But if somebody offered me a pack of them,
- 9:03Speaker 3: they're like, hey, you want this, I'm like, yeah, well
- 9:06Speaker 3: eat them. Why not the pop rock in it or
- 9:10Speaker 3: whatever that made it have the coke fizz? Yeah? Weird.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Yes, So there's there's That's what they don't tell you
- 9:17Speaker 2: is there's literally, sorry, say what you were saying? I
- 9:20Speaker 2: ruined it?
- 9:21Speaker 3: No, no, no, you're good. I think it was pop rocks.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I was in the cream.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:27Speaker 3: So I'm saying, they're eating this, and I'm like, it
- 9:29Speaker 3: feels like I'm having like a coke float almost like
- 9:33Speaker 3: I don't know, you can you can feel the fizz.
- 9:36Speaker 3: But it was good.
- 9:36Speaker 2: It had had the flavor of coca cola. It was weird.
- 9:39Speaker 2: It was weird, but it wasn't terrible. I wouldn't eat
- 9:42Speaker 2: a lot. I don't know how I would feel like
- 9:43Speaker 2: eating them with milk though.
- 9:45Speaker 1: One out of ten? What are you ranking them?
- 9:48Speaker 2: The experience was a six point two. The flavor was
- 9:51Speaker 2: like a five. It was pretty mid.
- 9:52Speaker 3: It was very mid. Okay, youman, I mean I was
- 9:57Speaker 3: gonna say like a five nine, so I feel like
- 9:59Speaker 3: we're more pretty close. The experience was really cool and
- 10:03Speaker 3: like whenever. Honestly, if it didn't have the pop rocks,
- 10:06Speaker 3: it probably would be lower. I thought the that added
- 10:09Speaker 3: to the experience of it. You know, it was. It
- 10:11Speaker 3: was pretty cool, but the flavor was to be expected.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I guess like it does taste like coke, but for me, I'm.
- 10:18Speaker 2: A diet coke guy, so like regular flavored coke just
- 10:21Speaker 2: doesn't doesn't do it for me anymore. But it tasted like.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Coc I feel like so many people are team diet coke.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Why wouldn't they just do a diet coke oreo.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't so you've ever seen anybody
- 10:33Speaker 2: try to cook with diet coke. It just doesn't work.
- 10:35Speaker 2: That aspartame doesn't do well with cooking for some reason.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I don't think it's the flavor of diet coke I enjoy.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I don't know how to quite put it. It's the crispness,
- 10:47Speaker 2: the carbonation of it, and the almost the lack of flavor,
- 10:52Speaker 2: but yet having a flavor like a step above a
- 10:54Speaker 2: seltzer with actual flavor but not overly sugary. That's what
- 10:59Speaker 2: I enjoy about it. I don't know, I don't know
- 11:00Speaker 2: how to explain it.
- 11:01Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 11:02Speaker 1: That was pretty good. I feel like that was pretty good.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I'm not a soda guy, but I feel like I
- 11:06Speaker 1: can relate to what you just said.
- 11:07Speaker 2: But I do have I was going somewhere with this, Matt.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I'm sorry that we started off this way, but I
- 11:13Speaker 2: do have the fattest thing that I'm ready. So you
- 11:18Speaker 2: guys enjoy Chinese food, Matt, you probably a little far
- 11:20Speaker 2: away from a good Chinese joint, I'm guessing.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I mean, we might be a little closer to China
- 11:26Speaker 1: than you.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Americanized Chinese food is what I'm getting there.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Oh, fair enough, there is one within twenty minutes.
- 11:35Speaker 2: So what's your go to?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Is it?
- 11:36Speaker 2: Is it lo Maine? Is it fried rice? I mean,
- 11:38Speaker 2: no matter what you're getting, whether it's bread and chicken
- 11:40Speaker 2: or pork or Mongolian beef. Do you like the low
- 11:44Speaker 2: maine or rice?
- 11:46Speaker 1: Yes, I like low maine. And what is it like
- 11:48Speaker 1: chicken fried rice or something? The yellow rice with this
- 11:50Speaker 1: stuff in there? Yeah, I like that.
- 11:51Speaker 2: What's your go to? You not a Chinese guy, a
- 11:54Speaker 2: Chinese food guy.
- 11:55Speaker 3: So honestly, I've been I've been trying it a lot more,
- 11:58Speaker 3: but I don't like a so I don't get the
- 12:01Speaker 3: Is it the fried rice that has like the age
- 12:03Speaker 3: as well? So I usually go with to some some
- 12:04Speaker 3: white rice because I'm a basic bitch. But yeah, that's
- 12:07Speaker 3: usually I go with it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: It's fine. So what I like to do is I
- 12:10Speaker 2: like to get whatever you're getting. There was this place
- 12:12Speaker 2: that used to make They called it crazy Spicy chicken.
- 12:16Speaker 2: It was super crispy. They also threw tofu in there,
- 12:18Speaker 2: and they would like fry in the walk, so the
- 12:20Speaker 2: tofu would get crispy. So it would just be like
- 12:22Speaker 2: it's literally, oh God, I don't know, fungus or something.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I don't know. It's I don't know what it is.
- 12:29Speaker 2: It's it's definitely man made, I think, and definitely maybe possibly,
- 12:36Speaker 2: but whatever it is. It really does take on the
- 12:38Speaker 2: flavor of everything else around it. So like you cook
- 12:40Speaker 2: it with bacon, it's gonna taste like bacon. You cook
- 12:42Speaker 2: it with fried rice, it's gonna taste like fried rice.
- 12:44Speaker 2: So it's really good. It absorbs all the flavor around it.
- 12:47Speaker 2: But when you fry it in a pan or in
- 12:48Speaker 2: a walk, it gets really crispy edges. So it's not
- 12:51Speaker 2: like the soft guy that you see when you actually
- 12:55Speaker 2: buy a brick of the shit. You know. So, But
- 12:58Speaker 2: whether I'm getting that or say general those chicken sens
- 13:01Speaker 2: tome chicken doesn't matter. Fried rice low mane. I always
- 13:05Speaker 2: order a side of crab rand goon. We all do.
- 13:08Speaker 2: We're fat people. We eat love crab rang goon. Not
- 13:10Speaker 2: you don't like crab r and goon.
- 13:12Speaker 3: No, oh my god, oh my god.
- 13:14Speaker 2: What people don't like crabb Listen in the YouTube and
- 13:18Speaker 2: the in the comments. Tell them how they're wrong.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Please, I've tried it. The wife loves it. I just
- 13:24Speaker 1: I don't know, sweet rabby creamy. I'd rather eat West
- 13:30Speaker 1: Virginia raccoon than crab ragoon.
- 13:33Speaker 2: It's literally imitation crab. It's just like cod man anyway.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Whatever that's fine, yeah, but when I.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Like crabs and tell me you're gonna eat it later.
- 13:41Speaker 2: So what I like to do to our six listeners
- 13:44Speaker 2: is I like to take our crab rand goon. I
- 13:46Speaker 2: get two orders of them, because I eat them normally.
- 13:49Speaker 2: You dip them in the sweet and sour saush et
- 13:50Speaker 2: them like a normal person, right, like an appetizer. But
- 13:53Speaker 2: then I take I take the other three or four
- 13:56Speaker 2: that come in another order, and I corture them, you know,
- 13:59Speaker 2: kind of like where used to be drawn in quartered,
- 14:01Speaker 2: kind of like that on horses. They go in four
- 14:03Speaker 2: different directions and just get split out, and I put
- 14:06Speaker 2: them on my meal. So you get a little bit
- 14:09Speaker 2: of a fourth of a crab rang goon on your
- 14:11Speaker 2: fried rice with your chicken. And then I take a
- 14:13Speaker 2: bite of the chicken and fried rice with crab rang goon.
- 14:16Speaker 2: You get a rush of creaminess and chickeny and flit.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It's all it's creating crewd. It's sour or not sour
- 14:23Speaker 2: cream cream, cheese and chicken and rice, and it's just
- 14:26Speaker 2: it's amazing, it's great, it's delicious. It's the fattest thing
- 14:29Speaker 2: I've ever done.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Do you guys when you eat Chinese food. Are you
- 14:33Speaker 1: hungry twenty minutes after? You could eat a pile of
- 14:35Speaker 1: it and then all of a sudden you're hungry again?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Or is it just me?
- 14:38Speaker 2: No, it happens same with McDonald's though, Dude, Like if
- 14:41Speaker 2: I have a big Mac and fries two hours later,
- 14:44Speaker 2: I'm like, dude, I could probably eat another big Mac.
- 14:48Speaker 1: And fries, high sodium or something.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Just all those carbs burn through your system bloodstream really quickly,
- 14:55Speaker 2: you know.
- 14:56Speaker 3: But with Chinese it's almost like like spaghetti sometimes, Like
- 15:00Speaker 3: I'll eat spaghetti and then within twenty thirty minutes I'm like, damn,
- 15:04Speaker 3: did I eat today? I'm like, yeah, I just got spaghetti.
- 15:06Speaker 3: What the hell? But like you said, it's all those carbs,
- 15:08Speaker 3: but uh, Chinese food man, Like, I don't know. It
- 15:12Speaker 3: seems like it's very getting consistent where I'm at because
- 15:15Speaker 3: the diversity is so low. I'm not even sure if
- 15:17Speaker 3: these people are Chinese. So I don't know.
- 15:20Speaker 1: But littleffe near you, yes, well yeah, how many plates?
- 15:26Speaker 1: What's the over ender when you go in on? How
- 15:28Speaker 1: many plates you're gonna get? Cause I have a game plan.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have a game plan.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I always go in the first one, I'm gonna get
- 15:34Speaker 1: some rice, and then I go through and I try
- 15:36Speaker 1: I get like a bunch of different pieces of chicken,
- 15:38Speaker 1: you know, the general sal or however you say it,
- 15:40Speaker 1: maybe some sesame seed chicken. I just go with that.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And then the second plate is like, all right, all
- 15:45Speaker 1: that shit that didn't taste good, and then I do
- 15:47Speaker 1: some low made and whatever else. And then if I
- 15:50Speaker 1: go back for that third, it's kind of like a
- 15:51Speaker 1: free for all. But every once in a while, I
- 15:53Speaker 1: gotta get that sweet and sour chicken in there. You
- 15:55Speaker 1: don't get a little bit of that, maybe with some rice,
- 15:57Speaker 1: and then you save a little bit. If the ice
- 15:59Speaker 1: cream machine is worked, and usually not, it's less, you know.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm sure they don't have a down detector for that.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I don't think it works at least in our area,
- 16:06Speaker 1: as well as the McDonald's ice cream machine. But that's
- 16:10Speaker 1: that's my move.
- 16:11Speaker 3: At the buffet, I don't I don't ever go to
- 16:14Speaker 3: the Chinese buffet. I usually just get takeout whenever we
- 16:16Speaker 3: get food. So but my equipment would be if I'm
- 16:20Speaker 3: getting a pizza buffet, if we still have those around there,
- 16:24Speaker 3: if I'm not a dozen slices minimum. That's the goal
- 16:28Speaker 3: I'm going to And if I always feel kind of
- 16:30Speaker 3: embarrassed whenever like the work friends go they're like, hey,
- 16:32Speaker 3: let's go get you know, pizza ranch or whatever. And
- 16:35Speaker 3: I'm like okay, and I'm over there just slamming down
- 16:39Speaker 3: breadsticks and pizza and they're like, oh damn, you know
- 16:41Speaker 3: you guys got ready to go? And I'm like, whoa
- 16:44Speaker 3: maf way there. This is a buffet, Like, we don't
- 16:46Speaker 3: leave intour about to throw up. So there's an ice
- 16:49Speaker 3: cream machine there. I saw that they have chocolate and
- 16:51Speaker 3: vanilla twist. We're not going anywhere. We both spreaky, sit
- 16:55Speaker 3: down and this is why I drove separately. If you
- 16:57Speaker 3: guys want to leave, if you guys aren't about that live,
- 16:59Speaker 3: I'll see at the end of the world day. Because
- 17:01Speaker 3: can I ask.
- 17:02Speaker 1: A question this the pizza buffet, I've never been to one.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I've never seen one in person. They have to be
- 17:08Speaker 1: huge profit margins, Like are they usually pretty busy? Because
- 17:11Speaker 1: maybe we start a little pizza buffet in this area,
- 17:13Speaker 1: Like I said, it's gonna be a big profit margin.
- 17:15Speaker 1: You're just throwing out cheap maybe put a little bit
- 17:17Speaker 1: of some filler in there so they don't eat as
- 17:19Speaker 1: much and have extra diarrhea. I don't know.
- 17:21Speaker 2: So you're talking pizza ranch, you got chicken, you got
- 17:24Speaker 2: a whole everything that goes alongside it, mashed tabs of gravy, corn,
- 17:30Speaker 2: green beans, a pizza ranch, and a pizza and pizza
- 17:33Speaker 2: and pizza buffet.
- 17:35Speaker 3: And dessert pizza. They have a like during during the fall,
- 17:39Speaker 3: they have a pumpkin pie pizza that you can just
- 17:41Speaker 3: put a little ice cream.
- 17:42Speaker 2: So good.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Pizza ranch.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it's and honestly, they're chicken better than the pizza.
- 17:48Speaker 1: So it's like a it's like an off brand Ponderosa.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Kind of there. I know, I know Ponderosa is and
- 17:57Speaker 2: we don't have any near us, but yes, basically that's
- 17:59Speaker 2: what it is. True. I want to see what your
- 18:02Speaker 2: nearest one is. It looks like the one closest to
- 18:07Speaker 2: you is probably Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Michigan. Those are the
- 18:14Speaker 2: closest ones. So it's all in the Midwest and South.
- 18:19Speaker 1: There's I'm net. Like I said, I've never and I
- 18:21Speaker 1: mean I've traveled south and stuff. I've never seen a
- 18:24Speaker 1: pizza buffet. Maybe that's an idea and that's in our area.
- 18:27Speaker 1: It's it's a poverty stricken area. I feel like buffets
- 18:31Speaker 1: are the move.
- 18:32Speaker 3: I know.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I know. My cousin that's in the restaurant industry always
- 18:35Speaker 1: said that if you did like a country style buffet,
- 18:39Speaker 1: it probably do really well because you just got the
- 18:40Speaker 1: mashed potatoes, the chicken. It sounds like a pizza ranch.
- 18:43Speaker 1: So if anybody out there has money wants to franchise one,
- 18:46Speaker 1: we'll take how many percent? We'll take three percent of
- 18:49Speaker 1: all sales at this day out of my fridge podcast, so.
- 18:51Speaker 3: You don't have like, so, did your pizza hut not
- 18:53Speaker 3: have a pizza pizza hut buffet like whatever when grown up? Nope,
- 18:58Speaker 3: you're robbed of a childhood.
- 19:00Speaker 1: So we still have. So when I grew up in
- 19:03Speaker 1: the Syracuse area there, I don't ever remember seeing a
- 19:05Speaker 1: pizza hut. I'm sure there was. There was a Dominoes
- 19:08Speaker 1: near us, so we were just Dominoes. And when we
- 19:10Speaker 1: moved up here and even to this day, it's just
- 19:13Speaker 1: kind of like an old school pizza hut with a
- 19:15Speaker 1: couple of things. I guess that are a newer twist.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I've never been to a newer one, but still has
- 19:19Speaker 1: the salad bar, and then it's just normal Pizza Hut menu.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I mean there's no buffets, there's no nothing. I don't
- 19:25Speaker 1: even know if they have a deep fryer.
- 19:27Speaker 3: It's like we're on a podcast with an Ethiopian, you
- 19:29Speaker 3: know what I mean. Like they're like, we don't have this,
- 19:32Speaker 3: we don't have that, Like what's the Pizza Hut buffet? Dude,
- 19:35Speaker 3: especially in the nineties, was like, I don't know, I
- 19:37Speaker 3: haven't I don't want to drink unless it's in that
- 19:40Speaker 3: red cup from Pizza Hut. Like it it made anything
- 19:43Speaker 3: taste ten times better. Like my mom used to steal
- 19:46Speaker 3: some of those cops so then my grandma, that's what
- 19:47Speaker 3: we used to have it. You want to drink at
- 19:49Speaker 3: our house, we got Pizza Hut cps is why does
- 19:51Speaker 3: it say pepsi on the side. Don't worry about it.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we still have some blue ones that float around,
- 19:56Speaker 1: and then then they had the big clear ones with
- 19:58Speaker 1: like the bubbles in it. I got a couple of those.
- 20:01Speaker 1: But then again, my brother was an assistant manager allegedly
- 20:05Speaker 1: at a Pizza Hut. So you got some perks, did you?
- 20:09Speaker 3: You didn't have CC's pizza either five dollars all you
- 20:12Speaker 3: can eat.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I've heard of a c CS. But again, let's see. Uh,
- 20:16Speaker 1: let's see. The closest one to me is probably says
- 20:21Speaker 1: there's one. No way, I was gonna say it says that.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Hold on, that's not true. I've been to all of
- 20:27Speaker 1: these towns. That's not there city or zip code.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Okay, thanks, it was back in the day. It was
- 20:35Speaker 3: five bucks all you can eat at an arcade in
- 20:38Speaker 3: the back, and they also had to dessert pizzas with
- 20:41Speaker 3: the ice cream machine. My mom was a big fan
- 20:43Speaker 3: of taco pizza.
- 20:45Speaker 1: There is not a CC's in the state of New York.
- 20:50Speaker 1: There's only one in Pennsylvania. Yeah, there's nothing Northeast. We're
- 20:56Speaker 1: built different up here. Apparently you can't get all of
- 20:59Speaker 1: these buffets where there's snow because it would make you
- 21:01Speaker 1: too happy and probably cure seasonal depression if you had
- 21:05Speaker 1: a pizza buffet in this area.
- 21:07Speaker 3: We can get a beer at our pizza hut.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Now, well, we could always get beer and you could
- 21:12Speaker 1: buy it. The move was, though, you got a bottle
- 21:14Speaker 1: of wine and then drink the whole bottle, because at
- 21:18Speaker 1: our pizza hut, I don't know if it still as
- 21:19Speaker 1: a rule, not that I found out, but apparently you could.
- 21:23Speaker 1: They had a three beer limit, probably for the best.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But if you ever ever get cut off from a
- 21:31Speaker 1: pizza up or having more than three beers, you're probably
- 21:34Speaker 1: not doing something right in your life.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Boyas I gotta tell you, there was a Chinese buffet
- 21:42Speaker 2: in my hometown until two thousand and nine. I just
- 21:44Speaker 2: looked it up. They closed down sixteen years ago. We
- 21:48Speaker 2: used to go when I was in high school. I
- 21:49Speaker 2: went for my birthday my senior year in high school.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It was four dollars twenty five cents all you can
- 21:55Speaker 2: eat buffet. God knows what was in it, but there
- 22:01Speaker 2: were fifty dishes. How they made fifty God knows how.
- 22:05Speaker 2: You went at the right time and it was perfect.
- 22:07Speaker 2: You went at the bad the wrong time, and like
- 22:09Speaker 2: half of the dishes were dried out and it was awful.
- 22:12Speaker 2: But we could feed a whole family for like forty bucks.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I'm talking like eight kids forty dollars. Bro. Nowadays, you
- 22:20Speaker 2: go out, you're going to be spend one hundred and
- 22:21Speaker 2: fifty sixty dollars to try to feed some kids like
- 22:25Speaker 2: that much.
- 22:26Speaker 3: It's expensive. Wild, it is been man like. That's that's
- 22:31Speaker 3: what I loved about. We called it feces. I love
- 22:34Speaker 3: some CC's pizza like that, bringing it back right next
- 22:37Speaker 3: to his dippin' dots, the superior ice cream. I will
- 22:42Speaker 3: I will not tolerate any dippin' dots slander.
- 22:44Speaker 2: So the problem with dippin' dots is that.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I will not tolerate.
- 22:47Speaker 2: It is delicious, it's delicious, it tastes great. The problem
- 22:51Speaker 2: is they cheat you by not by putting it into
- 22:53Speaker 2: little balls instead of it being like a hole. Give
- 22:56Speaker 2: me a big ball, this big, not eight thousand million
- 22:59Speaker 2: tiny little balls where I'm being cheated out of mass
- 23:02Speaker 2: for ice cream.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I'll give you two big balls. You're only about three
- 23:05Speaker 3: hours away.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Just make sure make sure they're not dippin' dot balls.
- 23:10Speaker 3: I'll put some caramel on it, to be some salted
- 23:12Speaker 3: car interesting, delicious, What do you mean interesting? Delicious?
- 23:19Speaker 1: Dippin' dots aren't a thing up here. We eat our
- 23:20Speaker 1: ice cream by the gallon or half gallon.
- 23:24Speaker 3: The more and more you talk about your area, it
- 23:27Speaker 3: sounds depressing like that.
- 23:28Speaker 2: It is. It sounds I'm sorry, I really I'm like that.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Is you know, yeah, I mean, I mean, our our
- 23:35Speaker 1: closest place of a city only has one diner. I mean,
- 23:40Speaker 1: come on, you got if you have one diner in
- 23:42Speaker 1: a city, you can't be doing that well right, Like,
- 23:44Speaker 1: that's got to be a thing. I love diner food.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Not only is it good, it's affordable.
- 23:50Speaker 2: If I've had you guys, we can we can get
- 23:54Speaker 2: you can order this in bulk, bro you can get
- 23:56Speaker 2: a bulk bag of for seventy five dollars of the
- 24:04Speaker 2: shittiest little alien ball ice creamy. Look at this, listen.
- 24:08Speaker 2: It's delicious, it's creamy, but look at all that space
- 24:11Speaker 2: of ice cream you're not getting?
- 24:14Speaker 3: What was that that?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Uh?
- 24:19Speaker 1: What's your go to?
- 24:19Speaker 3: You? Ben?
- 24:20Speaker 1: If you're if you're gonna buy a bulk thing of
- 24:22Speaker 1: dippin' dots seventy five dollars worth of them dots to
- 24:25Speaker 1: be dippin' they don't want to split?
- 24:28Speaker 3: Baby. Now, if somebody asked me like, hey, would you
- 24:31Speaker 3: like an actual traditional banana split, I'd like get that
- 24:33Speaker 3: drashed away for me. But if it's in dippin' dot
- 24:36Speaker 3: for absolutely it is.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Do you do you like to see banana runts as well?
- 24:41Speaker 3: My favorite runt, My favorite runt hmmm, because it's dick shaped.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I was gonna say, but when when's the last time
- 24:48Speaker 1: you ate an actual banana?
- 24:51Speaker 3: Last week? That's one of the I love me some bananas.
- 24:54Speaker 3: That is okay, that is one of the apples bananas.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I'm not a big fan of our moment. Sometimes I'll
- 25:00Speaker 3: eat it candlope, Love me some candlelope.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Now, if you watch it in the banana split, you
- 25:05Speaker 1: don't eat strawberries. I didn't know they came with strawberries,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you fancy boy in all right area. You get the
- 25:13Speaker 1: banana and maybe some ice cream and a little whiped cream,
- 25:16Speaker 1: maybe a cherry on top, and like.
- 25:18Speaker 3: The banana gets kind of like the texture of it
- 25:20Speaker 3: and the ice cream something.
- 25:23Speaker 1: If I'm going to an ice cream shop, it's not
- 25:26Speaker 1: a banana split, like I'm there to eat some extra
- 25:28Speaker 1: ice cream. Don't fill it up with some fruit.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Rises, peanut butter gooobs. Sorry.
- 25:31Speaker 2: When you were kids, did you guys used to cut
- 25:33Speaker 2: up bananas into your cereal or was it just me?
- 25:36Speaker 1: We did cheerios or the off brand cheerios.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Yeah, my bananas and milk like frosted flakes. Oh banana milk,
- 25:45Speaker 3: don't you hush, I would drink me some banana milk.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I'll give you some banana milk. Here it cup.
- 25:49Speaker 3: It's like yeah, hey, no again. See in three hours,
- 25:53Speaker 3: I'll give you all the taste of these salted caramel
- 25:55Speaker 3: balls for something little bit of that banana milk. The
- 25:59Speaker 3: barter systems a lot, well, my friends.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Sure, you guys could just meet up halfway at a
- 26:02Speaker 1: pizza ranch or a cecs. Something awesome meets you in Rulo.
- 26:05Speaker 2: All the crazy shit happens in Rulo.
- 26:08Speaker 3: That's just a hopsco. Hey, we can go to the
- 26:10Speaker 3: casino that's not that far away from Rulo. Was it
- 26:13Speaker 3: White White Cloud? Like boy? Yeah boy? They used to
- 26:17Speaker 3: have banana nut cheerios. I'm telling you, that was the
- 26:20Speaker 3: one cereal that I would let get just a little
- 26:23Speaker 3: soggy because I wanted to soak up all that banana flavor,
- 26:27Speaker 3: because once I got to the end and I would
- 26:29Speaker 3: drink that banana milk.
- 26:30Speaker 2: So here me let me ask you this question. Everybody
- 26:31Speaker 2: loves cereal. You're probably gonna say like Oreo or Rees's
- 26:34Speaker 2: orses puffs or or fruity pebbles, whatever your favorite cereal is,
- 26:37Speaker 2: first of all, favorite cereal, and then second, what cereal
- 26:41Speaker 2: wouldn't you eat? I mean, like, because it just feels
- 26:44Speaker 2: like any cereals edible.
- 26:45Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Go easy, be easy. The
- 26:47Speaker 3: number one cereal of all time, peanut butter Captain Crunch.
- 26:51Speaker 3: That is the number one cereal of all time. I
- 26:54Speaker 3: will not take an islander on.
- 26:55Speaker 2: That, say, based on flavor, or based on the fact
- 26:58Speaker 2: that you have a fourteen second window to eat the
- 27:02Speaker 2: shit before after it could kill your mouth, or before
- 27:05Speaker 2: it turns into baby shit.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I would put that against any cereal. You know, we
- 27:10Speaker 3: should do a test on this to see which cereal
- 27:12Speaker 3: gets soggy faster, because I would guarantee you it is
- 27:14Speaker 3: not peanut butter Captain crunch. My consistency issues. That's what
- 27:18Speaker 3: led me to that cereals because it didn't get soggy
- 27:21Speaker 3: as fast as like a Reese's puff.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Let me let me clarify. You're right. The problem is
- 27:25Speaker 2: is the shit will kill your mouth for like forty
- 27:28Speaker 2: five minutes, so you have to wait for it not
- 27:30Speaker 2: to There's like a window where it's like, Okay, this
- 27:33Speaker 2: is good enough, but yet not turning into that like
- 27:35Speaker 2: glue like substance.
- 27:37Speaker 1: See, everybody always says that, but I felt like it
- 27:39Speaker 1: was like Taco bell giving you the diarrheas like I
- 27:42Speaker 1: can eat taco bell in not good diarrhea. I mean,
- 27:44Speaker 1: I have ibs, but I don't remember remember peanut butter
- 27:47Speaker 1: Captain Crunch destroying my mouth?
- 27:48Speaker 2: So then was it that the actual like little Captain Crunch,
- 27:53Speaker 2: little yellow things that did it? What was the thing
- 27:55Speaker 2: from Captain Crunch that always your mouth's up was the
- 27:57Speaker 2: crunch berries. They're called crunchberries human, but I'm interesting to.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Know the peanut butter ones. Are there still crunchberries too?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Those not a berry whatever they call's.
- 28:14Speaker 3: But the those would like it's kind of like those
- 28:17Speaker 3: tootsy pop suckers, you know, those ones where you would
- 28:20Speaker 3: look for a star on the wrapper or whatever. Those
- 28:22Speaker 3: would dare the ship of the upper part of my mouth. Yeah,
- 28:26Speaker 3: it would be Captain Crunch, but it was worth it.
- 28:28Speaker 3: The greatest cereal, worse cereal Mini wheat, those big little
- 28:37Speaker 3: wayfront those things even were no thank you.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I'll tell you what magic spoon. I tried it. I'm
- 28:44Speaker 1: trying to eat healthy love cereal, and it got to
- 28:47Speaker 1: the point where I got barely through a box of it,
- 28:50Speaker 1: and I don't know if I've eaten cereal, since like
- 28:52Speaker 1: it ruined cereal, not only the taste, the texture. I
- 28:57Speaker 1: mean it you might as well just eat the plastic
- 29:00Speaker 1: bag that peanut Butter Captain Crunch comes in.
- 29:03Speaker 4: It is terrible, boxes wild, and honestly, from the way
- 29:09Speaker 4: that Brandon and I have been talking during this episode,
- 29:11Speaker 4: that sounds like it's cereal that we might be participating
- 29:14Speaker 4: as in a.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Little bit of magic spooning.
- 29:16Speaker 1: So I'm telling you, not only is it overpriced, I
- 29:19Speaker 1: mean it is just terrible, even the ones that they
- 29:22Speaker 1: are supposed to be chocolate and stuff like that. Yeah,
- 29:25Speaker 1: it is overpriced. We tried two different kinds in this
- 29:28Speaker 1: house and it was so goddamn bad. The kids wouldn't
- 29:31Speaker 1: need it, and our kids love Spaghettio. So we already
- 29:34Speaker 1: know where Brandon stands on that conversation.
- 29:37Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie. I did bring this up to
- 29:39Speaker 3: a lot of my friends. I was like, hey, you guys,
- 29:40Speaker 3: you guys still eat Spaghettios, and they're like, yeah, dude,
- 29:43Speaker 3: like that's one of the pleasures of having kids, is
- 29:44Speaker 3: you know. And I'm like, I got this guy who
- 29:46Speaker 3: says it. They're like, you should go hanging out with him,
- 29:48Speaker 3: and I'm like, right, like it's kind of like it's
- 29:50Speaker 3: a it's it's an offensive crime. But then what was
- 29:53Speaker 3: wild is my brother, my brother on Facebook shared your
- 29:57Speaker 3: funion mountain dew meme or what, and so I was like, oh, hey,
- 30:02Speaker 3: that's I was. I looked at that drink and I
- 30:03Speaker 3: go and then I see Brandon j mcderman.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I go, oh, no shit.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I was like, he just shared one of his met
- 30:09Speaker 3: I was like, okay, and I messaged him. I was like, hey,
- 30:11Speaker 3: you know I know that guy. I was like, guy,
- 30:14Speaker 3: not weekly, I know him? And he goes who and
- 30:17Speaker 3: I'm like, brand Jay mcd, do you follow him? And
- 30:19Speaker 3: I was like he's the one that you shared and
- 30:20Speaker 3: he goes, oh, I just shared the post man, I
- 30:23Speaker 3: don't know what that guy is. My well, I'll go myself.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Then I was like, here, I am trying to make
- 30:26Speaker 3: small talk with you. Never again, never again. Oh yeah yeah.
- 30:32Speaker 3: But he's like he's like no, He's like I saw
- 30:34Speaker 3: the drink and he goes, I'd actually try it, and
- 30:36Speaker 3: I go, you would you sick? Terrible?
- 30:40Speaker 2: I would definitely try that drink would be delicious.
- 30:43Speaker 3: You're also a sick that's disgusting.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I'll be delicious. That would be good. Mister doesn't eat
- 30:49Speaker 2: mac and cheese.
- 30:51Speaker 3: You know what, though, my fat thing that I do.
- 30:53Speaker 3: There was one time that I was like, there was
- 30:55Speaker 3: like no snacks in the house, but there was a
- 30:57Speaker 3: package of King's Hawaiian role and I love those roles,
- 31:02Speaker 3: and we had it was like two days from expiring,
- 31:06Speaker 3: and I'm like, there's nothing around here in my eye
- 31:07Speaker 3: as a kite. And I had some of those tostitos
- 31:10Speaker 3: cheese sauce and I went over there to town. I
- 31:13Speaker 3: was just greeting these roles and just dipping it in
- 31:16Speaker 3: this cheese sauce and just getting it delicious. It was
- 31:21Speaker 3: so good. But honestly, in the moment, seven point one
- 31:25Speaker 3: out of tent easy easily. I think I went through
- 31:28Speaker 3: a half dozen of them rolls.
- 31:30Speaker 1: You know, and there's a content idea for you. You've
- 31:33Speaker 1: probably already thought this, but it just hit my brain
- 31:35Speaker 1: when you were doing that. You eat food high and
- 31:39Speaker 1: then you rate it, and then when you're completely sober,
- 31:42Speaker 1: the next cut is you completely sober, you eat it
- 31:45Speaker 1: and you're.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Just like.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Okay, and then you just walk away. It reminded me
- 31:52Speaker 1: of the guy kind of like the reverse way of
- 31:54Speaker 1: the guy that like plays we or something and he
- 31:56Speaker 1: gets trashed and he tries to and he's just like
- 31:58Speaker 1: get it in. Then he's I should.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Because sometimes, like I'll wake up in the morning and
- 32:03Speaker 3: I'm like, my god, my stomach hearts. I'm like sitting
- 32:07Speaker 3: on the toilet wondering, you know, what did I eat?
- 32:10Speaker 3: And then I see the wrappers of the remnants of
- 32:13Speaker 3: you know what I thought was good. A lot of
- 32:15Speaker 3: times too, it resorted like saltine crackers. I love me
- 32:19Speaker 3: some saltine crackers, and I'll get some peanut butter and
- 32:21Speaker 3: I'll just make me a little homemade peanut butter crackers
- 32:24Speaker 3: sandwiches just and there is just crumbs everywhere on our sofa.
- 32:29Speaker 3: And my wife, you know, she get rid of vacuum
- 32:31Speaker 3: and she's like, oh my, who the hell ate all
- 32:34Speaker 3: these crackers? I made this much of a mess. And
- 32:36Speaker 3: I'm like talking to kids.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I don't know that's how they're doing.
- 32:40Speaker 3: And I was like those animals and let me let
- 32:42Speaker 3: me help you clean. She says, no, no, I got it.
- 32:44Speaker 3: You didn't make this mess. I'm like, I know, but
- 32:46Speaker 3: thank you for cleaning it up.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Stephen Perry.
- 32:50Speaker 3: That's right, he gets playing for everything. She does not
- 32:53Speaker 3: like that cat at all, and it's clearly shown. You know,
- 32:56Speaker 3: you're not supposed to have a favorite child. She definitely
- 32:59Speaker 3: has a favorite cat, and it is not Stephen Purrain.
- 33:02Speaker 3: That's a crime, that's honestly. What causes a lot of
- 33:04Speaker 3: friction in her Noise relationship is how much she doesn't
- 33:07Speaker 3: love that cat. Fucking shame.
- 33:10Speaker 1: It's a shame. Speaking of a shame. Remember when people
- 33:15Speaker 1: did the tide pod thing and how stupid that was. Well,
- 33:18Speaker 1: apparently there is a new trend that seems just as dumb.
- 33:22Speaker 1: And again this is from the New York Post dot com,
- 33:24Speaker 1: so take it as it is. But apparently there is
- 33:27Speaker 1: people that are now eating packaging peanuts and how they're
- 33:31Speaker 1: so good because they just dissolve in your mouth and
- 33:34Speaker 1: they're biodegradable. So apparently people think that means biodegradable means health.
- 33:43Speaker 3: No, don't now, is there something that is forbidden that
- 33:48Speaker 3: you shouldn't eat that you do? I can't think of anything.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Something I used to watch the.
- 33:51Speaker 3: People who would eat like their mattress, or drink laundry
- 33:54Speaker 3: detergent or something.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but they got something just not right with them, right,
- 33:59Speaker 1: like they're on the TV show for.
- 34:02Speaker 3: It usually means there's some sort of like vitamin deficiency,
- 34:05Speaker 3: like they're like they're low in something so that's why
- 34:07Speaker 3: they crave to eat something, or they're also weird as hell.
- 34:12Speaker 2: It's either a vitamin deficiency or an IQ deficiency, one
- 34:15Speaker 2: of them.
- 34:17Speaker 1: So just for anybody that wants to know that, apparently
- 34:20Speaker 1: Thrive Lab nurse Oh sorry, a nurse practitioner, angel Angelica
- 34:26Speaker 1: McGough sat down and said that because the excessive heat
- 34:31Speaker 1: used to make packaging peanuts causes the formation for I
- 34:35Speaker 1: don't know that word, but then there's a carcinogen with
- 34:38Speaker 1: ties to ovarian cancer and other cancer. So if you
- 34:42Speaker 1: want to continue to eat those, be prepared to have
- 34:45Speaker 1: some cancer when you get older.
- 34:47Speaker 3: And if you prefer to taste some nuts that won't
- 34:49Speaker 3: give you some cancer. It comes swing by Northwest Missouri.
- 34:52Speaker 1: That's only three hours from brand.
- 34:54Speaker 3: I'll give you a free sampling.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Jesus, well played, well played packaging peanuts.
- 35:05Speaker 3: How stupid taste this package in peanuts?
- 35:08Speaker 1: So how about this restaurant? Oh sorry, no, you're good.
- 35:11Speaker 2: This place. I ordered these Seltzers from they send those
- 35:15Speaker 2: biodegradable peanuts. I literally just opened a package upstairs and
- 35:18Speaker 2: port them in my trash can. But they say you
- 35:20Speaker 2: can dissolve them in water, like it's fun. Just pour
- 35:23Speaker 2: them down your sink after you've done so. I did this.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I've got a big old picture of a water warm water,
- 35:29Speaker 2: because that's what it takes to dissolve them. And I
- 35:31Speaker 2: poured them in a little bit at a time, and
- 35:32Speaker 2: they would dissolve and you'd mix it up. It turned
- 35:35Speaker 2: into this really gross, sticky, glowy mess and it didn't
- 35:39Speaker 2: smell very good. I know, right, Taco Bell on a Saturday, right,
- 35:45Speaker 2: Matt brought up, you know, the whole Taco Bell thing
- 35:48Speaker 2: and it being just this weird thing that everybody accepts
- 35:50Speaker 2: as a joke, but it's not actually accurate. It's true,
- 35:53Speaker 2: but I agree with it, that's what I'm saying. But
- 35:56Speaker 2: it was a weird process. I was like, why did
- 35:57Speaker 2: I do this? It's just something in the thrash. But
- 36:00Speaker 2: I have smell them and I wouldn't want to put
- 36:03Speaker 2: them in my mouth. It doesn't smell appetizing put them
- 36:07Speaker 2: in my mouth.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I want some Mexican food tonight. Now that sounds delicious.
- 36:15Speaker 3: I might get deal Blackstone out. There's this burrito at
- 36:19Speaker 3: the local establishment, I say, loco, you know, twenty minutes away,
- 36:23Speaker 3: but it has it has some beef, some chicken, bacon. Uh,
- 36:28Speaker 3: normally it comes with some shrimp. I don't get it
- 36:31Speaker 3: with shrimp steak. And it was some rice and then
- 36:35Speaker 3: this burrito is like this big and it's smothered and
- 36:37Speaker 3: it's like white cheese, sauce and everything. Oh it's so good.
- 36:40Speaker 1: It does so pretty.
- 36:42Speaker 3: I want it in my mouth and all over my face.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Clip that.
- 36:47Speaker 1: So there's a Japanese restaurant. Do you guys have this scenari?
- 36:51Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna say it wrong, but apparently it's so sakaya.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Sakura that suck.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Yeah, non stocking, that's where I went, but I figured
- 37:03Speaker 1: I do there. You guys have any of those chains
- 37:06Speaker 1: near you? I didn't look it up where it is.
- 37:08Speaker 3: No, it's creasy similar. It's s a k you are
- 37:12Speaker 3: a is ours. I don't know how to pronounce it.
- 37:13Speaker 3: It's a kurra, but it's it sounds similar. It is
- 37:17Speaker 3: sushi and stuff.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Apparently, Well, I was just wondering because they closed
- 37:22Speaker 1: nearly two thousand of its stores recently because apparently there
- 37:27Speaker 1: was a rat in bugs were found in its food,
- 37:30Speaker 1: so all of the stereotypes of weird things being in
- 37:33Speaker 1: foods apparently was true in this place. Yeah, I and
- 37:40Speaker 1: like I said, people are probably listening to But you
- 37:41Speaker 1: guys are so stupid, dude. See the article there was
- 37:44Speaker 1: just I read the headline from people dot com. It
- 37:47Speaker 1: appears that it is a Japanese restaurant in Japan, so
- 37:52Speaker 1: you guys probably don't have fun anywhere. But yeah, there
- 37:56Speaker 1: was a rat found in some miso soup at the
- 37:59Speaker 1: chain's place in the country that has more vowels than
- 38:04Speaker 1: Pat Sajak has ever seen in a puzzle. And yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 1: but don't worry. They said that they would like to
- 38:09Speaker 1: offer their deepest apologies to the customers who can trip.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Bro.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, I couldn't help himself.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Is this what you want to be doing when Jesus
- 38:28Speaker 2: comes back you?
- 38:29Speaker 1: But Jesus, He's gonna.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Catch me wanking it. Honestly, that's what I'm afraid it's
- 38:34Speaker 3: gonna happen. The rat is gonna happen, and my pants
- 38:35Speaker 3: are gonna be around my ankles, And that's what they're like.
- 38:38Speaker 2: There he is again the show that on the show today,
- 38:41Speaker 2: we had a question of the day was what's the
- 38:43Speaker 2: one thing your parents used to say that you find
- 38:45Speaker 2: yourself saying now? And there were so many good ones,
- 38:48Speaker 2: you know, the whole you know, don't make me come
- 38:51Speaker 2: back there and we're now heating the outside because I
- 38:54Speaker 2: said so, you know that kind of shit, and I'm
- 38:57Speaker 2: just like, I say, all of these, don't make me
- 39:00Speaker 2: count to three, you know.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Just I lie about the light on in the vehicle
- 39:06Speaker 3: when they were like, can we have a light on
- 39:07Speaker 3: in the truck and I'm like, I can't. It's legal,
- 39:09Speaker 3: can't can't drive with it on?
- 39:11Speaker 2: You know, did it? Dude? You did it?
- 39:14Speaker 3: That's right? And like that's whenever I found out that
- 39:17Speaker 3: that wasn't a law too, that's I was like, Mom,
- 39:19Speaker 3: what the hell? And She's like, oh, I always thought
- 39:21Speaker 3: I was. And I was like, I was really paranoid
- 39:23Speaker 3: about that, Like even if I was driving as a teen,
- 39:24Speaker 3: I was like, damn, this thing on. I thought that
- 39:26Speaker 3: was worse than having a cell phone in your face.
- 39:28Speaker 1: But they couldn't look it up. It's not like they
- 39:30Speaker 1: had the phone and CHATGYBT and Google and stuff to
- 39:33Speaker 1: actually see the laws. So they were probably told and
- 39:35Speaker 1: I'm not going I'm not going to sit here and
- 39:37Speaker 1: be like I'm team mom, but she probably really did
- 39:40Speaker 1: believe it, and so did everybody else around the area.
- 39:43Speaker 2: There's two things I was definitely worried about in my
- 39:46Speaker 2: adulthood as a child. It was turning the lights on
- 39:49Speaker 2: in the car when you're driving, and the chances and
- 39:52Speaker 2: possibility of quicksand, and neither of those things have become
- 39:57Speaker 2: a really out reality. M I did quicksand would be
- 40:03Speaker 2: every kids show we ever watched there was a cliffhanger
- 40:06Speaker 2: of somebody getting stuck in quicksand and having to be saved.
- 40:09Speaker 2: And only once it was a movie did I ever
- 40:11Speaker 2: see somebody actually die.
- 40:15Speaker 1: What's a scarier thing living where? I of course depression. Yeah, no,
- 40:20Speaker 1: the manure pits. Somebody or people usually die almost every
- 40:24Speaker 1: year because something with the way with these manure pits,
- 40:27Speaker 1: whether it's the gases and they knock you out and
- 40:29Speaker 1: you end up drowning, Like if you get into one,
- 40:31Speaker 1: you are more than likely going to die.
- 40:34Speaker 2: And that so why do you create pits?
- 40:36Speaker 1: There's a reason every farm has this manure pit. And
- 40:39Speaker 1: I'm assuming again this is me not knowing a farm
- 40:42Speaker 1: without looking it up. They spread so much manure, like
- 40:47Speaker 1: for fertilizer and stuff, so I always assume that they
- 40:50Speaker 1: had a manure pit to be able to pump from
- 40:53Speaker 1: and then go out to fields and then spray it.
- 40:57Speaker 1: But I don't know. Just almost every big farm in
- 41:00Speaker 1: this area has some kind of manure pit, and every
- 41:01Speaker 1: once in a while something happens. There's an incident and
- 41:05Speaker 1: somebody passes away drowning to death in a manure pit,
- 41:07Speaker 1: and it is not a very pleasant way I would
- 41:11Speaker 1: imagine to go.
- 41:12Speaker 2: So I just chat sheptated, because this is life now.
- 41:15Speaker 2: A manure pits store animal waste, which we know of
- 41:17Speaker 2: hydrogen sulfide, the big killer, even in small doses, methane, ammonia,
- 41:21Speaker 2: and carbon dioxide. Most often, deaths occur when a worker
- 41:24Speaker 2: enters the pit without proper ventilation. Someone collapses inside. My God,
- 41:29Speaker 2: and others russia to help, leading to multiple fatalities.
- 41:32Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 41:34Speaker 2: In Ohio two thousand and seven, four family members, including
- 41:36Speaker 2: a nine year old boy, died in the manure pit.
- 41:38Speaker 2: One went in, the rest followed trying to help no
- 41:41Speaker 2: safety gear. They all died. Twenty sixteen a farmer and
- 41:44Speaker 2: his teenage son being overwhelmed by the gas agitated while
- 41:47Speaker 2: in the pit. And in Pennsylvania twenty twelve, three men
- 41:50Speaker 2: died due to no ventilation or gas monitors being used.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a shitty situation. It is.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Well, there's no better way to say goodbye than talking
- 42:04Speaker 1: about ship pits.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Ship pits.
- 42:07Speaker 1: If you're in it near a ship pit, use proper
- 42:09Speaker 1: ventilation or here's a thing, just don't get near a
- 42:12Speaker 1: ship pit. And speaking of ship pits, I better get
- 42:14Speaker 1: some food so I can then ship it right back out.
- 42:17Speaker 1: But I don't know, I got nothing else. Crab rangoon,
- 42:22Speaker 1: big topic of conversation. There's a there's a new combination
- 42:26Speaker 1: out there that I uh me and you been are
- 42:28Speaker 1: definitely not going to try it. But hey, Brandon, you've been.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Appreciate you guys. And if anybody's still listening about ship pits,
- 42:35Speaker 1: thank you. But if not, well we'll be back next
- 42:38Speaker 1: week either way. So that's all I got. You guys,
- 42:40Speaker 1: got anything else? Good?
- 42:43Speaker 3: Now I'm gonna smash this burrito.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Barrito and ship pits hate. Go to the place, create
- 42:48Speaker 1: your own brito and tell them you want it to
- 42:49Speaker 1: be called the ship pit.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Oh my god, I have to go to an Indian
- 42:53Speaker 3: restaurant to get something like that named.
- 42:55Speaker 1: But well, we'll get one at every single place. But
- 42:57Speaker 1: all right, before we get canceled. We'll be back now
- 43:00Speaker 1: next week. Be good to your winers. Bye bye knocking,
- 43:03Speaker 1: who's there?
- 43:04Speaker 2: It's the podcast shop. The doors stay out of my
- 43:07Speaker 2: fresh well that ready to explore. Gotta tell the tale,
- 43:11Speaker 2: Gonna make you laugh and make you smile. So buckle up, tie,
- 43:15Speaker 2: it's gonna be a lounge. You're tiding deep into your
- 43:20Speaker 2: fresh were secrets
