Assiniboia Downs Race 5: Gate-to-Wire Dreams and Live Longshots
Assiniboia Downs Race 5 — Free Press Stakes: Kauai Dan (3) is the pace-and-control pick if he breaks clean; Dominant Spirit (6) fits as the stalking threat; Bergheim (5) is the 12-1 price to sneak into contention with the same rider back.
Pace will decide this one — a contested front end helps closers, a clear break favors a gate-to-wire result. Top picks: 3 Kauai Dan, 6 Dominant Spirit, 5 Bergheim. Good luck at the windows.
