  We hear that word and it just sounds so, no, it's not really brainwashing.

  Well, if you consider the propaganda and the talking points and all the noise out there

  and then you consider the spiritual warfare aspect and what the enemy does, I think we
• 2:20
  can call it brainwashing, right?

  Absolutely.

  Yeah, just talk to us a little bit about first what's happening in Minnesota.

  I know we could spend a whole episode on that, but just share your heart on what's going

  on.

  We haven't talked to you in a while since the whole Somali fraud thing was that blew up

  and ice went to Minnesota.

  I don't think I've talked to you since then.

  So share whatever you'd like, brother.

  Yeah, let me just start with a story.

  Jiren and I were out at the 412 campus in Southern California.

  We had gotten a Palm Springs airport and we're getting ready to fly back here to Minnesota
• 2:56
  and my phone starts pinging.

  It just starts going nuts.
• 3:00
  People are looking at me and I'm like, oh, great.
• 3:01
  I'm one of those people that doesn't shut their ringer off and I looked down and I knew
• 3:06
  it was bad because all of these different people are sending me a text message about
• 3:13
  the shooting of Renee Good.
• 3:16
  And I literally, David, just almost collapsed in the chair and I looked at Jaros, he was
• 3:22
  sitting on my left and I said, I am not getting on that plane and going back to Minnesota.
• 3:29
  And I just said, I don't emotionally have the bandwidth.
• 3:32
  I mean, we've got through COVID, we've got through all of the George Floyd stuff.
• 3:37
  Black Lives Matter.
• 3:38
  Black Lives Matter, yeah.
• 3:39
  Oh, man.
• 3:40
  And all of that pressure, I mean, church splits, people leaving, people angry, death threats,
• 3:46
  I mean, it goes on and on and on, right?
• 3:49
  And I'm like, I don't want to do this again.
• 3:51
  And I'm not getting on that plane.
• 3:52
  She looked at me and said, act like a man, get on that plane and get back to Minneapolis.
• 3:58
  And so, you know, we of course did that and we got back.

  But that's exactly what happened because I knew as soon as this, as soon as it started,
• 4:08
  what the narrative was going to be, ice are bullies, they're aggressive, Odera, you don't
• 4:14
  you have compassion for your neighbors.
• 4:16
  And so this whole concept of brainwashing and how it's affecting the US and specifically
• 4:22
  the emotional drain that it's happening to, I think all of us across the United States
• 4:28
  and especially those of us living in the upper Midwest during this time is massively important
• 4:33
  to understand.
• 4:34
  I don't know.
• 4:35
  Are you feeling that where you're at?
• 4:37
  We don't feel what you're feeling.
• 4:39
  I just see the confusion even in the church.
• 4:42
  Confusion is one thing because the news is, the news doesn't report the news, the media
• 4:46
  doesn't report the news.

  And by the way, Jeff, could you pull up the media research center on Apple news?

  I just want Mark to see this.
• 4:55
  This is very interesting.
• 4:56
  It goes into propaganda and brainwashing, what we're talking about.

  It took Apple news 100 days to publish a right-leaning article in its morning editions.

  And look at the numbers, 1,379 to 1.
• 5:10
  So media research center, MRC.org news busters, they do great work and they talk about how
• 5:16
  often the media just constantly criticizes Trump, tries to find something bad about government,
• 5:24
  ICE, about this administration.
• 5:26
  And the lopsided numbers like 90 to 2 or something like that when it talks about stories.
• 5:32
  So this is what the general public, whether in Minnesota or Green Bay, Wisconsin or anywhere
• 5:36
  else in the country, you're getting, depending on who you listen to and who your sources
• 5:42
  are, you're generally getting biased information that are not telling the whole story.
• 5:48
  And we lose the fact that we do have laws on the books in this country, don't we?
• 5:53
  And they're enforcing the laws.
• 5:55
  And we missed the fact that Tom Homan said he used to, they deported a lot of illegals
• 6:02
  under, I think it was Obama and Biden, many more so than they're doing now during Trump.
• 6:08
  But because the left has ramped up this attack Trump effort and the money pouring in from
• 6:14
  George Soros on the far left with the professionally printed up signs.
• 6:19
  So they're manufacturing another crisis.
• 6:22
  Go ahead, Mark.
• 6:23
  I know I kind of got going there.
• 6:25
  The brainwashing is really important to understand.
• 6:28
  It's just not a term you throw out.
• 6:29
  This is what the definition of how things unfold with brainwashing.
• 6:34
  It is a process of pressuring someone to adopt a radically different belief by using systematic.
• 6:42
  That's the keyword systematic and forcible means.
• 6:48
  So if I'm trying to brainwash you, it doesn't matter if he's talking Mao and China, if you're
• 6:54
  talking to Soviets in the past, or what is happening right now by the socialist across
• 6:58
  the United States and it's all wrapped in freedom of speech and we have rights and of course
• 7:04
  you don't have any rights and you're going to adopt our vocabulary and so forth.
• 7:08
  So here's some of the systematic, forcible means.
• 7:12
  Isolation was one.
• 7:14
  You remember during COVID, I didn't see Grandpa Bill for one year.
• 7:17
  They had him locked down in a retirement facility and they wouldn't let us in.
• 7:23
  And then of course, you're isolated if you're a student and you don't buy in.
• 7:29
  You're not going along with everything that they want you to do.
• 7:32
  And then you got depriving people of different things, whether it's food or opportunities
• 7:36
  or shadow banning or whatever the case might be.
• 7:39
  The deprive you of certain things that make your life better, easier, the Russians have
• 7:45
  done this, Mao has done this.
• 7:47
  We see it here, for example, protest taking place against ICE inside churches or inside
• 7:54
  of businesses, right?
• 7:55
  We're going to deprive you of having a business here in the state or defunding.
• 7:59
  We see that with different things or debanking with different ministries and then of course
• 8:04
  you've got threats.
• 8:06
  Oh yeah, the peaceful protesters and you see the car burning in the background or the
• 8:10
  peaceful protesters who are coming in and disrupting a peaceful church service, city church
• 8:15
  just not far from here.
• 8:17
  And so the threats that come with that and of course the innocent bystanders who are
• 8:24
  protesting ICE and they have guns on them and they're fighting with the officers.
• 8:28
  They're not innocents.
• 8:29
  They are fighting against law enforcement and there's consequences to that.
• 8:34
  And they good had been impeding the officers all day long, which was a felony.
• 8:41
  And then when the officers said get out of the car and she didn't do it, that's a lawful
• 8:44
  command according to the people say, well, I know I have my rights.
• 8:47
  No, the Supreme Court said when the officer says get out of the car, you got to get out
• 8:52
  of the car.
• 8:53
  Then to try and run an officer over and then to have our officials stand up and say,
• 8:58
  oh no, she was peaceful, she didn't even have a weapon.
• 9:02
  I looked at some people this last couple of weeks and I just said, you know, I had a
• 9:05
  dog that was killed by a car.
• 9:08
  And so we train all of our dogs now with the get to the corner, cross in the corner, they
• 9:12
  have to stop.
• 9:13
  They have to sit.
• 9:14
  We teach them to look both ways.
• 9:15
  You teach your kids to do that.
• 9:16
  Why?
• 9:17
  Because cars kill people for 45,000 Americans die every year in car accidents with drunk drivers.
• 9:24
  So again, they say these things and that's part of the whole brainwashing thing that's
• 9:29
  happening.
• 9:30
  That's really scary to me, David.
• 9:32
  Is this is not just happening with us adults.
• 9:36
  It's happening to our children.
• 9:37
  So think about the high schoolers that are out protesting ice right now and they have
• 9:41
  been since they were eight or nine years old, part of this brainwashing process of telling
• 9:47
  them, you know, you need to be compassionate or whatever.
• 9:50
  And I would suggest to you, that's the front that parents and grandparents and grandparents
• 9:55
  need to start like getting on task and saying, this is unacceptable.
• 9:59
  Yeah, let's talk about that for a couple more minutes.

  Let's just park here just for a minute or two because the K through 12 system in America
• 10:08
  is designed not originally and not, you know, by a lot of Christians would prefer to
• 10:14
  be a different way.
• 10:15
  It's designed to put out social justice activists and leftists, people who do not adhere to the
• 10:22
  biblical worldview.
• 10:23
  In fact, they're hostile toward Christianity or Christian principles.
• 10:28
  This is just some of the bad fruit, Mark Henry, of taking the 10 commandments and the
• 10:33
  Bible and prayer out of schools and you've got to fill that big void with something and
• 10:38
  they certainly did in the 60s and the 70s and the 80s.
• 10:43
  We've got LGBTQ flags, we've got the transgender indoctrination, we've got Black Lives Matter
• 10:48
  Global Network, you know, they're all into the system of the school now to anti-ice,
• 10:54
  anti-Trump.
• 10:55
  By the way, students were encouraged by their teachers, public school teachers to go out
• 11:01
  and protest.
• 11:02
  This is across the country, not every school, not every teacher.
• 11:05
  But students, young people as young as middle school were encouraged to go protest.
• 11:10
  They didn't even know what they were doing, a lot of them.
• 11:12
  If they held up the signs, F Trump, F ICE and I'm holding some of the word back, you
• 11:18
  know what I'm saying?
• 11:19
  So what's the message the students are getting to where they are okay with going along
• 11:25
  with this?
• 11:26
  Mark, is that peer pressure, is that they're doing it for attention or do you think these
• 11:31
  kids are starting to really believe what they're saying, what the protests are about?
• 11:37
  My observation is that they're actually buying in.
• 11:40
  What you got to understand, what's happening in America started 60 years ago.
• 11:44
  But really in the last 10 years, this whole social justice ramping up of the whole social
• 11:51
  agenda has become psychologically what I say is the professionals.
• 11:58
  The PhDs got involved and they said, how do we flip this?
• 12:01
  Because a lot of what's happening was done into a lesser degree or not as such a refined
• 12:06
  way by the Chinese, by Mao, after World War II, and that was how they took over China,
• 12:11
  the great revolution of China.
• 12:13
  If you look back at that, 65 million Chinese were killed by the communists.
• 12:18
  Of course, you've got a lot of Americans now saying China is the model and that's what
• 12:22
  we need.
• 12:23
  Well, that's what they're doing to our children.
• 12:24
  Let me just kind of, a couple of observations I've made.
• 12:27
  The high school students are buying in because they want to be heroes.
• 12:31
  They want to have some sort of a gen.
• 12:33
  And they got to take another step back and say, my generation, when I was going through
• 12:38
  high school and so forth, we were starting to get a dumbed down education at that point.
• 12:43
  Now we don't have an education at all in the grade school ages.
• 12:49
  They're telling students, you know what, you just got to learn to be kind.
• 12:51
  You got to be compassionate.
• 12:52
  We'll come back with that in a minute.
• 12:54
  And then the high school students, now this is your time to be activated.
• 12:58
  You don't know how to read.
• 12:59
  You've never heard of Mao.
• 13:00
  You don't know anything about World War II.
• 13:02
  You don't know that our soldiers fought against socialism and communism in the past.
• 13:06
  You don't know that America is the greatest country and it has Christian roots.
• 13:09
  You don't know any of that.
• 13:11
  But you can do something great now.
• 13:12
  You can be a hero.
• 13:13
  You can oppose ICE, but it's predicated on what they learned in grade school.
• 13:19
  And I want you to just kind of bear with me for just a second.
• 13:21
  Think about this.
• 13:24
  The in grade school, the way they seduce our children is you need to be compassionate.
• 13:31
  Don't bully.
• 13:32
  Give you some examples of that.
• 13:34
  If you say to a boy who goes into a girl's bathroom, you can't do that.
• 13:40
  You're bullying him.
• 13:41
  Why are you being mean to him?
• 13:43
  We have flipped what is good and what is evil.
• 13:47
  When you and I were growing up, we knew you looked at the boy and you said, you're not
• 13:51
  going in the girl's bathroom and you got a SWAT or whatever the consequences were for
• 13:56
  that action.
• 13:57
  You protected the girls.
• 13:58
  You knew who to protect and who to rebuke.
• 14:01
  And now we've switched that.
• 14:03
  Or you think about what's happening with, again, the younger grades, like third graders
• 14:11
  and second graders, they come out with these books and they say, immigration.
• 14:16
  Imagine what it was like if somebody took you away from your family.
• 14:19
  Now never mind.
• 14:20
  I travel all around the world preaching the gospel.
• 14:23
  And every country I go to, I have to come in an entry point and I have to go through
• 14:28
  a legal process to get in.
• 14:30
  They give me a visa, which is a temporary grant to come into that country.
• 14:33
  And if I don't do that, there's consequences.
• 14:36
  If you go into Qatar, for example, and your flight is canceled, if you're longer than
• 14:40
  24 hours, you automatically get thrown into jail and then you're deported.
• 14:46
  How is it that Canada can do that?
• 14:48
  How is it that the UK can do that?
• 14:50
  How is it that Australia can do that?
• 14:51
  How is it Qatar can do that?
• 14:53
  But not America.
• 14:54
  See, these are laws.
• 14:55
  And then when somebody enforces those laws, now, again, think about the whole thing.
• 14:58
  The whole voc agenda and the whole, you know, oppressive sort of ideology of socialism.

  Parents oppress their children when they correct them.
• 15:09
  Ice is being bullies like those parents when they correct anybody.
• 15:15
  And the opposite is true.
• 15:17
  And so that's why you can't have social order.
• 15:21
  The other day, Jared, I went and had lunch together.
• 15:23
  And I was shocked, David, as we were in a beautiful little town in Minnesota on the Wisconsin
• 15:29
  border.
• 15:30
  And there were all of these ladies who were, you know, in their 60s and 70s standing
• 15:35
  out there saying, love your neighbor, love your neighbor.
• 15:37
  So now they quote a Bible verse to rationalize someone disobeying the government when it says
• 15:43
  in verse Peter chapter 2 verse 14 that were supposed to honor God by obeying the king
• 15:49
  and so forth.
• 15:50
  And very beautiful when we disobey authority.
• 15:53
  And yet just like Satan, they misquote a verse.
• 15:56
  And really quite honestly, citizenship is about loving your neighbor.
• 15:59
  The neighbor next to you, your family and so forth, protecting them from evil.
• 16:03
  4,000 people have been arrested here in Minnesota.
• 16:08
  And two people have been, have been shot.
• 16:11
  Both of them were opposing ice agents threatened their lives.
• 16:15
  They're justifiable shootings by every basis of any human standard of law enforcement.
• 16:22
  That's just a fact.
• 16:24
  But 4,000 taken off the streets.
• 16:28
  How many, how many not overdose under drugs as a result, how many girls will not be kidnapped
• 16:33
  and raped?
• 16:34
  I mean, I could just go down the list, but no one talks about them.
• 16:37
  And then again, this typical flipping of things upside down.
• 16:41
  And this psychological effect is burning, I think, all of us.
• 16:46
  Yeah.
• 16:47
  Woe to those who call evil good and good evil Isaiah 520 and they, they don't, most of these
• 16:52
  people don't know they're protecting pedophiles.
• 16:54
  They're protecting criminals and felons.
• 16:56
  I don't think they're, they're not understanding that because of this misplaced compassion.

  You also talked about some scriptures that we can go to, I mean, read your Bible, friends,

  but there are some specific scriptures that you had in mind, Mark, that people can go
• 18:05
  to during these crazy times and go ahead and share whatever you'd like.

  Yeah, so Jared and I were sitting there in that, in that Palm Springs airport trying to
• 18:14
  get back to Minnesota and just emotionally, I was, I knew, I knew what was coming and I
• 18:20
  knew that there was going to be friends of ours who were going to end up leaving our
• 18:23
  church, walking out of services, being angry, children that had once attended here, gone
• 18:29
  to college, now part of the protests, I knew we would get threats in various ways and
• 18:35
  I knew that other churches around us, David, listen to this, Westminster Presbyterian
• 18:41
  church here in Minneapolis hosted a gathering of hundreds of clergy focused on resisting
• 18:46
  ice and I could list other churches by name and I'm just going, how do I emotionally
• 18:53
  survive this Lord? And then I'm thinking about all my friends because you got to survive
• 18:57
  it as well. And so here's four verses that have helped me navigate the past and they're
• 19:02
  helping me navigate the present emotionally spiritually. I mean, how do you keep your
• 19:06
  mind in the game and honor God and and and not just give up to be quite honest with you
• 19:12
  because that's what brainwashing does. It wears you down to the point where you just
• 19:16
  give up and you say whatever. And so the first one is Proverbs 14 12. It says, there is
• 19:21
  a way which seems right to a man, but the end of his destruction. And so the first one
• 19:27
  David that stood out to me was, I just need to constantly remember that the world is always
• 19:31
  going to get it wrong. The devil's always going to get it wrong. The devil's always
• 19:34
  going to be pushing us and it's just always wrong. And so when when somebody like our
• 19:39
  governor gets up or attorney general gets up and they start rationalizing saying, you
• 19:44
  know what, those Christians, you know, meeting, they can't, they can't keep people out
• 19:49
  from protesting in the middle of their services because those people have freedom of speech.
• 19:54
  Why would you believe anything these people say when they can't figure out, for example,
• 19:59
  men can't have babies? Those guys are all saying men can have a good question. If I can't
• 20:06
  get that right, I probably'm not going to get a lot of things right in life, right?
• 20:10
  So that that's the first verse that helped me. Second verse that's helping me and helping
• 20:15
  our church family is Proverbs 14, seven. And it says, leave the presence of a fool or
• 20:22
  you will not discern words of knowledge. Now, understood subject is the reader, right?
• 20:29
  You leave the presence of a fool. Who's a fool? Well, in the Bible, a fool is someone
• 20:34
  who doesn't fear God, who does their own thing, who loves evil, who sees evil as sport,
• 20:40
  and box God. There's a lot of different descriptions there. But by the time you get this
• 20:46
  far in Proverbs, you know, it's the it's the ungodly person. So leave the on the presence
• 20:50
  of an ungodly person. Listen, leave them on Facebook, leave them as far as the news. I
• 20:57
  mean, shut it off or you and I and our children will not be able to discern the wisdom of God
• 21:05
  anymore. And that's what's happening. I mean, I see kids coming through churches, they
• 21:12
  go off to college, parents come and see me and they say, Mark, I don't know what happened
• 21:15
  to our kids. You know, we brought them up in church and so forth. And now they're out
• 21:18
  there marching, they're out there, you know, having sex changes, they're out there affirming
• 21:23
  everything that's evil that we don't believe. How did that happen? Well, we dropped them
• 21:28
  off in the presence of a bunch of fools. And none of us are exempt, right?
• 21:32
  Yeah, I just want to say hours of influence, they may have done a good job. A lot of
• 21:37
  parents, I think, could have spent more time with their kids in the word of God. But let's
• 21:43
  just say they did a pretty good job raising their kids in the Lord. The hours of influence,
• 21:48
  the hours they are away from their parents with their atheists and hostile toward Christianity,
• 21:54
  friends, social media, education, academia, the media, Hollywood, corporations, they've got
• 22:00
  all these influences brainwashing or bombarding them. It's no wonder years ago, Mark, it may
• 22:06
  have been the 90s, maybe in the 80s. There were studies done that after one year of college,
• 22:13
  a Christian student went against the faith that they were growing, the Christian faith that
• 22:20
  they grew up in when they were a family. That was after one year of college. That was decades
• 22:23
  ago. Now, recent recent years, children start doubting their families, their Christian faith,
• 22:30
  in middle school. They start doubting. By the time they're in high school, they're gone. It used
• 22:35
  to be after one year of college. But now, before they even go to college, I know I'm getting away
• 22:41
  from the scriptures here. But I do also want to, before I throw it back to you, Mark, Ephesians 6,
• 22:45
  our struggle is not against flesh and blood. But we do have to deal with people who are being
• 22:52
  influenced by the enemy. But I'll let you share a couple more scriptures and edify our viewers
• 22:59
  and listeners. Well, that's exactly right, though, David. And that's actually one of my main
• 23:03
  points, as I would conclude, all of this would be, if you can't see that this is a spiritual
• 23:10
  battle anymore, because I literally had some people walk out of service and say, you're being
• 23:14
  political. I'm not being political at all. I'm being theological. Theology comes down to real
• 23:20
  practical life. And it comes down to legislation because laws are based upon moral perspective,
• 23:28
  one way or the other. Minnesota is voting on Monday to get rid of religious freedom of churches,
• 23:34
  so that churches have to hire people who are trans and so forth. And it's probably going to pass.
• 23:39
  I was just on the phone with a senator and he's like, this is, you know, razor thin, whether
• 23:44
  or not it's going to pass. And so here's the bottom line. If you and I survived the brainwashing,
• 23:50
  if we're going to help our kids, no number one, their whole trajectory of the world is death.
• 23:57
  Number two is, if you'll stay around them, you're not going to figure out what's right and wrong.

  You're going to get confused. We're just people. Number three is evil people. Proverbs 28.5, evil
• 24:10
  men do not understand justice. Those who seek the Lord understand all things. And so when they
• 24:17
  use our terminology, remember this, they are stealing our terminology, but they have a different
• 24:20
  dictionary. Yes. So when they say, we want justice. I want justice too. I really, are you for
• 24:27

  live a peaceful, joyful life of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But when you look

  up justice today, if you like do a word search on your computer, it doesn't matter platform,

  and do justice, it'll say justice is basically reshaping society to get rid of the oppressor,

  get rid of parent, get rid of, I mean, and that's, it's been redefined. Yep. And then, and then,

  the past, it's fourth passage. And these are the four that have helped me the most and are helping

  my friends. And that's Proverbs 12 10. It says, a righteous man has regard for the life of his

  animals, even a righteous person who loves God recognizes that caring for animals, compassion towards

  animals is is a good thing. But it goes on. But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel. So when

  you think about, okay, so think about our governor, think about attorney general, think about our

  leaders here in our, in our state, where we can talk our country. But they can't, they can't

  figure out that men can't have babies. And then you're listening into them in all of these other

  areas. Just remember, when they talk about compassion, it is ultimately cruel. Think about it.

  These are the people that have been telling us, your kid at eight years old can tell you parents

  off, hit your parents, run away from home, come to the state of Minnesota. This will be a sanctuary

  city. You can have a sex change because we're compassionate. And then they look at someone like

  you, David, and they say, why aren't you compassionate? Why don't you care about people?

  It's the total flip of reality. It is psychosis. Global psychosis is what we're suffering from.

  Yeah, you worded it much more eloquent than me, but they've redefined terms and language and

  somehow got the general public to buy into their redefinitions. And that's why some Christians

  are struggling to respond to some of this. So we back into a corner, okay, I'm not going to say

  anything at all. But that's not the right approach either. We are to be still selt in light.

  like look, recognize brainwashing is taking place. Satan is the great deceiver. He uses all of the
