Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
April 26th, 2025, and nice win again last night.
• 0:30
That is two in a row. If I get one more, that's called
• 0:36
a winning streak. So we're going to kind of
• 0:41
package up what we've been doing, move it forward, try to
• 0:45
apply it to another series. Where I'm looking is the Houston
• 0:50
Rockets taking on the Golden State Warriors.
• 0:54
Now, this one has a little bit of A twist, though.
• 0:56
All right, so in this series, the Warriors were doing really
• 1:00
well. They were playing above their
• 1:02
potential, or I guess to their potential because they were
• 1:06
doing well as they had surged late in the season because they
• 1:09
had gotten Jimmy right. But then Jimmy does what Jimmy
• 1:13
does and he gets hurt, unfortunately.
• 1:16
So now, yeah, technically Jimmy's a game time decision.
• 1:21
I don't think he's playing tonight, which is fine for the
• 1:24
Warriors, they still have a chance.
• 1:26
But tonight I don't think they do.
• 1:29
I think they're resting. Jimmy, hold him, get him some,
• 1:32
the rest that he needs so he can be healthier down the line.
• 1:35
So tonight Warriors are still favored.
• 1:38
So I like the Rockets and the points.
• 1:41
I think it's going to be close, but I think those points are
• 1:43
going to be enough for the Rockets.
• 1:45
So we're going to take Houston Rockets plus 3 1/2 against the
• 1:49
Golden State Warriors at tonight's NBA basketball first
• 1:54
round W playoff action. It's anything better than that?
• 2:00
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:02
  to it. No.
