DesignBlok director on Václav Havel, light as a symbol of hope and the festival’s biggest edition yet
The annual DesignBlok , Central Europe’s largest design and fashion festival, opens in Prague on Wednesday. The 28th edition, centred on the theme of light, brings together a record number of designers, studios and brands from Czechia and abroad. It is also the first event to take place in the newly restored Industrial Palace at Výstaviště. I spoke to DesignBlok director Jana Zielinski about what visitors can expect this year.
