Planet of the Apes: Plot Summary of the 1968 Movie
The PODCAST summarizes the plot of the 1968 film "Planet of the Apes" A spaceship with astronauts crashes on an unknown planet, which later turned out to be the post-apocalyptic Earth dominated by evolved apes. Astronaut Taylor discovers an ape-like society with castes and humans reduced to beasts. Chimpanzee scientists help him prove that apes are descended from intelligent humans. Despite the evidence, the monkeys attempt to suppress the truth. Eventually, Taylor discovers the ruins of the Statue of Liberty, realizing that she has traveled to Earth's future.
