In a weird way, like, yeah, Les was talking about Dickinson State with some

nepotism a few weeks ago, which, you know, now you can't hardly blame him because

they go on the road, they beat a ranked team, and in a weird way,

it surprised me, but then it also feels like it shouldn't surprise me.

So thoughts on the Blue Hawks right now?

Yeah, I guess I would have said, you know, for the most part,

if you take a decade span, you're probably going to pick Dickinson over Dakota

State every game, every time over that decade.

Now, whatever is going on over the last couple of years is a little bit different.

It just feels like that's Dickinson, no matter what, is going to be in somebody's head.

And maybe they have a couple of injured players getting back on the roster.

I'm not sure. But again, that's just college football up and down every level.

Right, yeah. Yeah, Dickinson State now sits at 3-4, and Dakota State's now at

but Mayville State's now 5-2 after beating Valley City 36-33. Valley City sits at 1-5.

I don't think that one surprised anybody. What did kind of surprise me was that

Mayville State needed a walk-off field goal as time expired to win that football

game. So Valley City obviously played them pretty tough.

Yeah, and I think just looking at the box score, because I didn't watch it live,

Maybill State played good.

Obviously, penalties and turnovers come into play with all of these,

but I'm just happy to see Maybill State put forth the effort of what they did
