- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama Darling. Drama Darling, Drama Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello, everybody, welcome in. It's Thursday, October twenty fourth. It's
- 0:23Speaker 2: a Salt Lake City day with a dash of Great
- 0:26Speaker 2: British Baking Show aka Great British Bakeoff. Emily Dursis is
- 0:32Speaker 2: here sporting her Bruce Springsteen T shirt.
- 0:34Speaker 3: What's up?
- 0:34Speaker 1: MS?
- 0:35Speaker 4: Hello, good morning.
- 0:37Speaker 5: I hope we're all listening to the Howard Stern Interview
- 0:39Speaker 5: second interview with Bruce Springsteen. Great in the middle of
- 0:42Speaker 5: listening to it, I'm not that's really everybody's top priority.
- 0:47Speaker 2: After Drama Darling. That's where they'll go. I'm certain of it.
- 0:51Speaker 2: But if you decide not to do that, just remember
- 0:53Speaker 2: you can always tune into another episode that was posted
- 0:56Speaker 2: earlier today, which is the Serving Dish. And I took
- 1:00Speaker 2: to the Drama Darling news desk and we we loosened
- 1:04Speaker 2: up our pussy bows. We took to the desk and
- 1:07Speaker 2: we just you know, let it rip. So that's what
- 1:11Speaker 2: you'll get from a And by the way, Darling's on Patreon,
- 1:14Speaker 2: there's never any video for this segment. It's like a
- 1:18Speaker 2: bonus up and so we don't put video out for
- 1:20Speaker 2: it because it's like a late night situation.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Lights are off, we take off our faces. Yeah, there's
- 1:27Speaker 4: no neat to see what's happening.
- 1:30Speaker 2: We take the faces off, we put the glasses on,
- 1:32Speaker 2: and we you know, we get loose. So not safe
- 1:36Speaker 2: for TV, but great audio listening. More stories have popped
- 1:40Speaker 2: up today. Obviously we won't be getting to those right now,
- 1:44Speaker 2: but because we have a lot to discuss now, Emily,
- 1:48Speaker 2: I would like to welcome us in to Salt Lake City.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Yeah hah, but duh an episode Salt Lake City is
- 2:02Speaker 3: firing on all cylinders and it's boys. Angie having a big,
- 2:08Speaker 3: a big time in this episode. You know, yeah, I'm.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Sure, I know.
- 2:11Speaker 5: We both agreed that we would now lean into the
- 2:14Speaker 5: Angie camp of it all, like yeah, campiness.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Sometimes I forget and I get very annoyed. Okay, So
- 2:22Speaker 4: this intro I was like I hate.
- 2:26Speaker 5: This, I know, and then I was like no, no, no,
- 2:29Speaker 5: you love this. Now, remember we're gonna love this.
- 2:32Speaker 2: We decided to just really like you know, soldier on
- 2:36Speaker 2: and a plot Angie and everything that she does. But
- 2:38Speaker 2: it's part of it is not her fault for this,
- 2:40Speaker 2: because you know, she didn't really the producers definitely.
- 2:45Speaker 3: You know, we're.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Fanning the flames next to all of the antics. And
- 2:48Speaker 2: I think they like really leaned into it because Angie's
- 2:52Speaker 2: big scene opener. I mean they even had a filter
- 2:55Speaker 2: over that. I mean they had filters she had who
- 2:59Speaker 2: was that guy her?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Hitman? Yeah, hitman, hitman.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You know what, Brett has me brainwashed because he always
- 3:09Speaker 2: like any word that ends with man, he'll be like,
- 3:11Speaker 2: you know, he'll say.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Hitman or freshman or you know, anyway.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It just as it's one of the the funny one
- 3:18Speaker 2: of the many things that Brett does that's funny.
- 3:21Speaker 1: He kills.
- 3:24Speaker 4: No.
- 3:25Speaker 2: But so this Mob wives theme, you know, because she
- 3:29Speaker 2: was accused of being in the Greek mafia. She's bringing
- 3:32Speaker 2: it back. You know, it's at her house. This is
- 3:34Speaker 2: a big deal for her. And is this why she
- 3:37Speaker 2: got the Center Snowflake? Is it because of this party?
- 3:41Speaker 3: Emily?
- 3:41Speaker 2: It must be because I can't imagine her delivering anything
- 3:44Speaker 2: else for the rest of this season.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I mean, if this party is all it takes to
- 3:48Speaker 5: get in the Center, I'll tell you, I know the
- 3:51Speaker 5: bar has gotten much lower.
- 3:53Speaker 2: The bar The snowflakes in Salt Lake City are on
- 3:57Speaker 2: the ground but they're.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Not sticking there, not staying It is weird. I don't
- 4:03Speaker 3: know why she's in the middle.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:06Speaker 5: And then I saw a different graphic with Heather in
- 4:09Speaker 5: the middle. Yeah, me too, So I don't understand. Like,
- 4:13Speaker 5: it's fine if you want to rotate Heather Lisa Meredith Whitney.
- 4:17Speaker 5: But Angie again should be up in that up in
- 4:21Speaker 5: the room at the Airbnb while they're down on the
- 4:24Speaker 5: ocean talking about like and she does not need to
- 4:27Speaker 5: be out for this shot.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Snap wow wow, And we love her. But look, you've
- 4:36Speaker 2: got a great point. Yeah, how dare you say the
- 4:40Speaker 2: act me, I'm gonna I'm gonna take this information and
- 4:44Speaker 2: bring it to the reunion and you just have to
- 4:47Speaker 2: wait and she walk on and why bring mere Emily?
- 4:51Speaker 4: Well, hey, ang it could be worse.
- 4:53Speaker 5: It could be mainly because they cut her off before
- 4:57Speaker 5: she can get a word out.
- 4:58Speaker 2: They were even like Melee, if you could just arrive
- 5:02Speaker 2: to the party like ten minutes before it ends your
- 5:07Speaker 2: call time, Yeah, we're just gonna be altering the call times,
- 5:11Speaker 2: you know. And so yeah, if you could just traffic
- 5:16Speaker 2: right and we just need to like make sure we
- 5:17Speaker 2: get coverage so we're staggering the call times, and yours
- 5:21Speaker 2: is at six forty five. But the party starts it too, right,
- 5:26Speaker 2: We're really doing a heavy staggering. She shows up, She's like,
- 5:30Speaker 2: are you kidding me? She didn't even she wasn't even
- 5:32Speaker 2: dressed mob, she didn't even get an invitation. She didn't
- 5:35Speaker 2: even know what the theme was.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Ooh. I mean she would literally ramp up to say
- 5:41Speaker 5: something and it would cut.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Or they are dropping her audio out so you don't
- 5:46Speaker 4: hear it.
- 5:47Speaker 3: They're dropping a lot of audio out.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I swear like, I don't know who was talking where,
- 5:51Speaker 2: but I remember Whitney or like Meredith and someone were somewhere,
- 5:57Speaker 2: and all I could hear was like Charlie Brown's teach.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I was like, wow, yeah, And I was like, well,
- 6:04Speaker 2: why why isn't she miked in this? You know, I
- 6:09Speaker 2: don't know anyway, So this is her big episode, meaning Angie,
- 6:14Speaker 2: and she's gonna have this party in which a lot
- 6:17Speaker 2: of things happen, which we'll get to. But Lisa and
- 6:23Speaker 2: her family, we know that Jack is having some health problems.
- 6:26Speaker 2: We see him on the FaceTime and he's getting a
- 6:29Speaker 2: lot of testing done. They've ruled out the big things.
- 6:31Speaker 2: So that's good, but he's still trying to get to
- 6:34Speaker 2: the bottom of it. And he is promptly at Burger
- 6:38Speaker 2: King or some fast food.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Place Wendy's probably, But I feel so bad for Henry again.
- 6:46Speaker 5: I need Henry to be able to have some one
- 6:48Speaker 5: on one face time with this big brother, because Henry
- 6:51Speaker 5: is so you can just this is what made me
- 6:53Speaker 5: sad last season, because I was like, poor little Henry
- 6:57Speaker 5: loves his big brother so much and Jack and Jack
- 7:02Speaker 5: loves him.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Yeah, and like, I just feel so bad for Henry.
- 7:07Speaker 2: He's a little fresh wolf, you know, and he's left
- 7:10Speaker 2: behind and he's now joined a fight club.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Oh my god, thank you for remembering that.
- 7:18Speaker 5: I mean, because when he said he's like, he's like, well,
- 7:21Speaker 5: my friends and I sometimes box and then there's a
- 7:24Speaker 5: beat and then he goes, wait.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Is it Monday? And I thought for sure he's gonna
- 7:27Speaker 4: be like I fight club today.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Actually it's more fight club. I don't know what happened
- 7:37Speaker 2: with Henry. One minute he was playing video games and
- 7:41Speaker 2: the next minute he's in a fight club.
- 7:44Speaker 4: And now he's concussed.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And now I visit him in the hospital, and now
- 7:50Speaker 2: I smell like hospital wed Yeah, so we'll see about that.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Meredith and Whitney meet awkwardly, and Whitney's like, I'm.
- 8:02Speaker 3: So surprised that I was gonna apologize this to you
- 8:05Speaker 3: for going so hard on you, Meredith.
- 8:08Speaker 5: In Milwaukee, they were also joined by the table tent
- 8:18Speaker 5: on that table for cranberry mules or whatever. I was
- 8:23Speaker 5: like an upcoming events at the bar. It was ever
- 8:27Speaker 5: present in every shot.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Do you want some cranberry mules? Meredith? Do you want
- 8:35Speaker 3: to come back for this event? I couldn't come for
- 8:37Speaker 3: our cranberry mule anytime shot.
- 8:45Speaker 4: She was extra Meredith this episode.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes she really gets going, you know, you really
- 8:53Speaker 2: whind that Meredith thing up in the back there and
- 8:56Speaker 2: she runs with it. So Whitney's like, I think Lisa
- 9:01Speaker 2: is going after me because Apanatam told me so. Because
- 9:05Speaker 2: when I called it Apanatum, I said, can you tell
- 9:08Speaker 2: me that Lisa is going after me? And he said, yes,
- 9:11Speaker 2: I'll tell you that, And so now I'm telling you
- 9:13Speaker 2: that she's coming after me.
- 9:16Speaker 3: And then Meredith's like, if you're talking about a Fanatum
- 9:21Speaker 3: or anybody else on the social and annot just being careful,
- 9:26Speaker 3: Bink comes and you've gona and give Lisa on.
- 9:34Speaker 5: This is Meredith at full energy. This is two cups
- 9:40Speaker 5: of coffee first thing in the morning, like all the
- 9:44Speaker 5: energy she has.
- 9:49Speaker 3: And as the day goes on, can you imagine how
- 9:51Speaker 3: it just starts to go.
- 9:53Speaker 5: She ends like horizontal in a bathtub by free Pian horizontal.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Yes, she sure does.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that's our girl.
- 10:04Speaker 2: So I mean I appreciated her saying, give Lisa the
- 10:07Speaker 2: benefit of the doubt and be careful who you trust.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Great advice, but Whitney is not going to have it.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So but then we go over to Mary Cosby's house
- 10:17Speaker 2: and we see what I think are two Scooby Doo
- 10:21Speaker 2: villains sneaking up the stairs. The wife, Robert Junior's wife
- 10:29Speaker 2: was literally frozen like a.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Statue, like does she see us? Robert?
- 10:36Speaker 2: Does she see us? Are you talking to her? I've
- 10:39Speaker 2: never seen anything like it in my life.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And he was aluring his words so high wow, oh yeah, wow, yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 3: I don't And I was surprised allegedly.
- 10:52Speaker 5: How allegedly I mean they were high up higher because
- 10:56Speaker 5: they were on the ground right winning the steak.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I thought you were referring to drugs and alcohol or oh,
- 11:03Speaker 3: I'm sorry, that's Okay, darling.
- 11:06Speaker 4: So I'm sorry, I shouted into the microphone. I just
- 11:08Speaker 4: was so.
- 11:10Speaker 2: You pulled back your professional damn uh yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 5: I'm surprised how Mary like she says love you to
- 11:21Speaker 5: the gal that she then rips apart in the interview,
- 11:26Speaker 5: and that's not very merry of her. Usually she gives
- 11:29Speaker 5: it pretty hard, but she like really is trying to
- 11:33Speaker 5: keep the peace in her house.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I think I think so too. And the wife is like,
- 11:38Speaker 3: love you too, Mary.
- 11:41Speaker 2: You don't see me, you don't see me, you don't
- 11:43Speaker 2: see us as we walk up the stairs. And then
- 11:46Speaker 2: we go right from that scene pop over to one
- 11:51Speaker 2: of Mary's confessional looks, which is just, you know, the
- 11:56Speaker 2: mindstone head piece that I believe we've been seeing on
- 12:00Speaker 2: a mannequin head in her room for several seasons. Now
- 12:02Speaker 2: it has finally been adorned on her head.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Wow.
- 12:07Speaker 4: I hadn't even thought of that.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I'll tell you what, you know.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I was like, I recognize that headpiece, and boom, it's
- 12:15Speaker 2: just not been on a real person.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Until now.
- 12:19Speaker 5: She brought it out of the museum and we're seeing
- 12:22Speaker 5: it walking around in real time.
- 12:25Speaker 3: In real time, and then that white chiffon number. Yeah.
- 12:31Speaker 4: I mean, look, would I wear it? Absolutely?
- 12:35Speaker 5: And I am right now for those of you that
- 12:37Speaker 5: don't see the video, that's what I'm wearing.
- 12:42Speaker 3: And would I certainly? Most certainly.
- 12:50Speaker 6: So.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Bron Win arrives, which is just.
- 12:55Speaker 4: With an orchid field.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Wow, couldn't even get through the door. Hey, Mary, you
- 12:59Speaker 2: got double doors? Open the second one, you know, let
- 13:01Speaker 2: her come in with that fucking organ.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Yeah, what are we waiting for the other door?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Oh no, we can't do that. No, only Robert Senior
- 13:09Speaker 2: opens that door. No, no, no, it's been closed since
- 13:12Speaker 2: I closed the door on my mother's relationship. No, no, no,
- 13:17Speaker 2: so many metaphors for that closed second door.
- 13:20Speaker 5: We Yeah, I will say, though Mary is so gracious
- 13:26Speaker 5: that I can't. I cannot figure it out this season,
- 13:30Speaker 5: Like she's so warm. I don't understand it.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I don't either.
- 13:35Speaker 2: When she greeted Angie at her party and she was
- 13:38Speaker 2: taken aback by her beauty, yes, like what is happening?
- 13:43Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 13:44Speaker 5: And like because like, uh, you remember like when Heather
- 13:47Speaker 5: came over before to Mary, and Mary might say, now,
- 13:51Speaker 5: I just didn't like Heather, But I don't think that
- 13:53Speaker 5: was it.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Ah, might be she still doesn't like her. She still
- 13:58Speaker 2: has an axe to grind with her.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Yeah, but I don't understand why.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I don't know. I don't know. It is
- 14:05Speaker 2: a mystery.
- 14:05Speaker 5: She's a mystery, yeah, and I and I understand producers
- 14:09Speaker 5: talk to her. But I also was under the impression
- 14:11Speaker 5: like it wouldn't matter if producers talk to her.
- 14:14Speaker 4: So there's something else clicking.
- 14:16Speaker 3: You know what.
- 14:17Speaker 2: She marches to the drum of her own feet. Okay,
- 14:22Speaker 2: but Bronwyn comes and she's.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Like, oh my gosh, Mary, are we best friend? Is
- 14:26Speaker 3: blue and white and oh my gosh.
- 14:29Speaker 2: And but it is typical Mary because here Bronwin is
- 14:33Speaker 2: sitting there and is just full on loving Mary. And
- 14:38Speaker 2: Mary is like, so, what's going on? And She's like, well, actually,
- 14:43Speaker 2: and then she goes on to explain about her daughter
- 14:46Speaker 2: and how Lisa knows the grandparents who her daughter has
- 14:50Speaker 2: never met, and then Mary just takes that ball.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Yes, and she says, bronwhen for four gets into a sentence,
- 15:01Speaker 5: and then Mary takes it over. Yeah, I'm not complaining
- 15:04Speaker 5: because we don't know anything about Mary.
- 15:07Speaker 3: So now is her time?
- 15:09Speaker 2: Maybe it just all this time for a new person
- 15:12Speaker 2: to come in and try and tell their story for
- 15:14Speaker 2: her to cut them off so she can finally tell
- 15:16Speaker 2: hers that's where she found her her good, her resting,
- 15:21Speaker 2: you know, place like that's where she shines.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Yeah, she's I mean she uh.
- 15:29Speaker 5: I also like felt like Bronwin has such a she's
- 15:32Speaker 5: so gentle. I've yet to find something about Bronwin. I
- 15:37Speaker 5: mean there's a couple maybe I can see some cracks,
- 15:41Speaker 5: but she's so presentational and uh like physically, and then
- 15:47Speaker 5: to have such a gentle like speech, you know, she's
- 15:52Speaker 5: so welcome in.
- 15:54Speaker 3: She is welcome in, she is welcomed. Yeah, I mean
- 16:01Speaker 3: you've got a great point.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I love it.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Mary boy, oh boy, I mean yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 2: For her to say, yeah, the same thing Robert Junior
- 16:09Speaker 2: has never met his either, and then goes on to
- 16:12Speaker 2: talk about her family and her mom. Just the hijacking
- 16:17Speaker 2: of that conversation was unmatched. And look, I get it.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I think with Mary it's definitely a one way street
- 16:27Speaker 2: that occasionally allows someone to go down it the wrong way,
- 16:32Speaker 2: but she will keep pushing it forward, you know, on
- 16:35Speaker 2: her terms. And we did learn a little bit more
- 16:39Speaker 2: about her mother that she was completely selfish. She wasn't present,
- 16:43Speaker 2: she didn't buy food, and there was like cabbage and
- 16:46Speaker 2: cranberry juice in the refrigerator, which is a familiar story
- 16:52Speaker 2: for me as well. I mean we never had I mean,
- 16:56Speaker 2: but my mom used to cook every single night, like
- 17:00Speaker 2: the you know, a square meal if you were like.
- 17:03Speaker 4: She would say, your mom was so health conscious.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, So that's what I mean by in the refrigerator.
- 17:09Speaker 2: There were like no snacks, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:13Speaker 2: There wasn't much to really get my hands on in
- 17:16Speaker 2: between meals.
- 17:17Speaker 3: It was like.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Eggs, maybe some cottage cheese and milk and like your basics.
- 17:25Speaker 2: So when it comes to having weird stuff and the refrigerator,
- 17:29Speaker 2: I totally get it. However, my mom cooked a meal
- 17:32Speaker 2: every single gosh darn night, so we definitely had that
- 17:36Speaker 2: going for us. So I just felt like, this is
- 17:39Speaker 2: really sad. Like her mom, they didn't have food.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, I need to go back and listen
- 17:46Speaker 5: to the Bravo Docket episode again because I'm forgetting little
- 17:50Speaker 5: details about the whole lawsuit between like her mom and
- 17:57Speaker 5: dad when her dad was alive and Mary and then
- 18:00Speaker 5: the grandma stuff.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you for that information.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Yeah, because there's a whole thing and I always bring
- 18:09Speaker 5: it up, and now the more I bring it up,
- 18:11Speaker 5: the less I'm remembering.
- 18:13Speaker 4: So I need to go back and listen so I
- 18:14Speaker 4: can speak.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever listened, and so for that
- 18:18Speaker 2: I need to because you have spoken highly of it.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Yeah, and bish therapist does an episode about it, citing
- 18:26Speaker 5: the Bravo Jacket episode, but then like going in on
- 18:31Speaker 5: the psychology of it a little oh fantastic.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Well, Bronwyn says, and this is obviously her
- 18:40Speaker 2: reason to come over is She's like, I just think
- 18:43Speaker 2: that Heather spreads rumors and that's just going to leave
- 18:46Speaker 2: that there right here in this throne. And Mary's like
- 18:49Speaker 2: Heather is two faced, and Bronwyn wants to tell Angie
- 18:55Speaker 2: that Heather is talking basically that Heather said some shit,
- 19:01Speaker 2: uh about what Lisa said and so on and so forth.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And then the landline rings.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Oh of course it does, of course it does.
- 19:11Speaker 3: I mean that was.
- 19:14Speaker 2: How we haven't gotten the landline ring from her this
- 19:18Speaker 2: whole time is beyond me, I guess because we never
- 19:20Speaker 2: really shoot in her house much.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Right, we've but I at the same time, I'm like,
- 19:26Speaker 5: you know, how did we not get landline rings back?
- 19:28Speaker 5: In the day on Housewives, like it is. I feel like,
- 19:33Speaker 5: is this the first landline interrupt? Like that would have
- 19:36Speaker 5: might be right more or back, you know, like back
- 19:39Speaker 5: like when the OC started or whatever.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I mean, Orange County.
- 19:43Speaker 2: The only time I remember people being like on phone
- 19:45Speaker 2: phones is like VICKI because she was working, you know,
- 19:47Speaker 2: right right.
- 19:49Speaker 4: But it should have happened back in the.
- 19:52Speaker 5: Day because everybody would have their cell phone and their
- 19:54Speaker 5: landline right.
- 19:56Speaker 2: But you know what, back in the day, they were
- 19:57Speaker 2: probably like, okay, we got a you know, productions like
- 19:59Speaker 2: let's unplugged the phone the jack from the.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Wall right right right.
- 20:03Speaker 2: These days, that's not even on their radar. It's like,
- 20:07Speaker 2: is everybody's cell phone's off?
- 20:09Speaker 4: Meanwhile, I'll look at you with your landline I've got.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Is it plugged in?
- 20:21Speaker 3: I mean no, it's not.
- 20:22Speaker 2: But I have like an old timey phone that is
- 20:24Speaker 2: literally probably exactly wasn't what. It's a rotary too, you
- 20:30Speaker 2: guys like some.
- 20:34Speaker 4: I'm calling Mary Gosby. I'm calling Mary Gosby on my
- 20:38Speaker 4: rotary phone.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Why Mary, Mary? The call is coming from inside of
- 20:48Speaker 3: the house.
- 20:49Speaker 5: It's one of the Scooby Doo villains up the stairs.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Sneaking up the stairs.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Oh boy, but that was asic and bron was like, Mary,
- 21:01Speaker 2: is that a landline?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Are you?
- 21:04Speaker 3: What's this for real? I love her? She's so funny. Okay.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Then we've got like just a quick scene with everybody
- 21:14Speaker 2: getting ready for the anniversary party and Lisa is picking
- 21:18Speaker 2: out her dress.
- 21:19Speaker 3: She's like, I could do.
- 21:21Speaker 6: This dress with this fur, or this dress with this
- 21:27Speaker 6: sick fur, or this disgustingly amazing fur with this dress.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Yep, that's our Lisa.
- 21:42Speaker 3: John.
- 21:42Speaker 4: I know, poor John's gotta just engage.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It seems like he's fine with it. He's like, oh,
- 21:49Speaker 2: and that one, you're gonna wear fur with that? Dude,
- 21:52Speaker 2: I gotta gotta wear.
- 21:53Speaker 4: I think he was doing a bit with that.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe maybe.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, his delivery isn't on point, but I did get
- 22:00Speaker 2: his joke.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:02Speaker 5: I think the thing I say it's just so Lisa
- 22:05Speaker 5: is that there's not an internal thought ever. Everything is
- 22:09Speaker 5: spoken in her head out loud.
- 22:12Speaker 2: That's so funny. Yes, I believe that. I believe that, yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Which is actually great for reality TV.
- 22:21Speaker 5: I mean, first, she doesn't feel it doesn't feel like forced,
- 22:24Speaker 5: you know, sometimes in like I'm below deck when people
- 22:26Speaker 5: are talking out loud to themselves and you're like, Oh,
- 22:29Speaker 5: they're just doing.
- 22:29Speaker 4: This for coverage. Lisa's legit. This is how she operates.
- 22:33Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'm pulling this stress out of the closet now,
- 22:36Speaker 5: I'm going to tell you what will look good with it.
- 22:38Speaker 2: She doesn't know to not keep her mouth shut. I
- 22:42Speaker 2: mean she literally went into a bathroom and called one
- 22:44Speaker 2: of her best friends the biggest horror in New York City, right,
- 22:48Speaker 2: Mike's right, Yeah, yeah, she doesn't know. I did enjoy
- 22:54Speaker 2: Angie speaking with her daughter Electra, who's just so over it,
- 22:59Speaker 2: and she's like, Electrol girl power?
- 23:04Speaker 7: Am I right?
- 23:04Speaker 4: Oh, don't say girl power. Don't ever say that.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Don't You're not my mother. She literally was like, I'm disgusted.
- 23:16Speaker 7: What did the kids say? Or they're just saying like
- 23:18Speaker 7: bad are you? And slow and skibbity boiler riz yacht.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Isn't it right? Electra?
- 23:27Speaker 3: Mom?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Divorcing you as a parent? It was I like that scene.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I thought it was really cute.
- 23:35Speaker 4: I did too.
- 23:36Speaker 2: So we got to Andrew Andrew's Angie's a Mafia twenty
- 23:41Speaker 2: fifth anniversary party, and Mary loves Angie.
- 23:46Speaker 3: We talked about that.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I love that Angie entertains in her home a lot.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 23:52Speaker 5: It's on the face of the sun so bright, but yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 5: I mean I do like it because it's like a
- 23:59Speaker 5: very place to entertain, and so often we don't get a.
- 24:04Speaker 4: House party these days, so I appreciate it.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm excited to see who the next person
- 24:09Speaker 2: will be to fall down the stairs. The stairs that
- 24:12Speaker 2: doesn't have that don't have a railing, railing, Yeah, the
- 24:19Speaker 2: Monica stairs.
- 24:23Speaker 7: Hi, guys, thanks so much for coming to our toury
- 24:27Speaker 7: Firth anniversary party. Sean and I have been married for.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Fifteen years.
- 24:37Speaker 2: She has like a I think she's seven. Whatever, it's
- 24:40Speaker 2: our twenty fifth anniversary party. We've been married for fifteen
- 24:45Speaker 2: There have been some what did she say?
- 24:49Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 24:50Speaker 5: She also had the pictures behind them were just them
- 24:54Speaker 5: in the same clothes they're wearing right now at the
- 24:56Speaker 5: party that they had professionally done. So did you see
- 25:00Speaker 5: that not their wedding photos but photos of them and
- 25:04Speaker 5: their wedding twenty fifth anniversary clothes that they are looking
- 25:08Speaker 5: at now We can see them if they were not moving.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yes, I really landed on that, Emily, and I thought
- 25:18Speaker 2: too much about it, okay, Because first I was like,
- 25:22Speaker 2: hold up, let me see the side by side again
- 25:25Speaker 2: of the pictures. Okay, so we have her on the
- 25:28Speaker 2: day she got married, right.
- 25:30Speaker 4: I didn't well you know what I what? No, No,
- 25:33Speaker 4: I didn't. I didn't see her in her wedding gown. Yeah,
- 25:37Speaker 4: and the siding down.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Okay, So it was the side they showed it so
- 25:41Speaker 2: many times because it was like the side by side
- 25:45Speaker 2: there was the old wedding photo of her portrait her
- 25:48Speaker 2: alone and she's like turning back at you, like over
- 25:52Speaker 2: her shoulder and you can see her old face.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Because you know, my god, is she wearing her actual
- 25:58Speaker 5: wedding gown at this party?
- 26:00Speaker 4: Is that what I missed?
- 26:01Speaker 3: No? I don't know. Now I don't think so, because.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Because I saw, what I saw was her wearing the
- 26:10Speaker 4: dress that.
- 26:11Speaker 2: We and then next to that, right, and then next
- 26:13Speaker 2: to that is the portrait of her wearing the dress
- 26:15Speaker 2: she's wearing this episode. So what I'm what I'm wondering is, well, one,
- 26:21Speaker 2: I don't think it's the same dress. For one, because
- 26:23Speaker 2: I would think that her wedding dress was enormous on
- 26:27Speaker 2: the bottom. We didn't see the bottom of it. Okay,
- 26:30Speaker 2: and so for that, I think it's not. But what
- 26:35Speaker 2: I was wondering is, so she had a whole photo
- 26:37Speaker 2: shoot in her new dress that she was gonna wear
- 26:40Speaker 2: this party so she could have these side by side
- 26:42Speaker 2: photos or was she like, Okay, so I'm gonna I
- 26:46Speaker 2: want to do a sidebards shard, So like when I
- 26:48Speaker 2: get ready, I need to immediately need to take a picture,
- 26:50Speaker 2: and someone needs to run up for the Freducks Kinkos
- 26:53Speaker 2: and get this whole printed out real fresh on foam core.
- 27:00Speaker 7: Core.
- 27:03Speaker 3: So it's one or the other. Either way, a lot
- 27:05Speaker 3: of effort went into it.
- 27:08Speaker 5: Yeah, well it always does with Angie, and we always know.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Hm, we do?
- 27:16Speaker 4: You know?
- 27:16Speaker 5: They also showed that picture of them when they first
- 27:19Speaker 5: got together in all like she's wearing all black.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, And I mean I thought she was really cute.
- 27:26Speaker 3: So cute, adorable, adorable.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Well, Ron when arrives, she's like says, she's going for
- 27:37Speaker 2: my toddfather died and I'm in a more in mourning mobster.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I thought that was really funny.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Yeah, but she's wearing all bright colors. If your godfather died,
- 27:47Speaker 4: wouldn't you wear black? Not her?
- 27:49Speaker 3: That's blue.
- 27:50Speaker 2: So that's as far as I think she would go. Okay,
- 27:53Speaker 2: maybe I don't know, I'm just kidding around. I don't know,
- 27:56Speaker 2: but I love the scarf around the head. And then
- 27:59Speaker 2: when she took it off and explain what she was
- 28:02Speaker 2: going for it, they put a little sound effect when
- 28:05Speaker 2: she took the scarf off and her hair looked perfection.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it always does.
- 28:13Speaker 2: So Sean didn't want Meredith to come because of what
- 28:18Speaker 2: she did last year, and he wanted security.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Right, I mean, I get it right, But it was.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Very nice of them to invite her, and it seemed
- 28:29Speaker 2: like she accepted and everything was pretty.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Cool and he was very nice to.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Her extremely I love that.
- 28:36Speaker 4: I love that.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Very nice to see people rising above. Now Encyclopedia Britanica
- 28:43Speaker 2: arrives with Aaron Aaron. Who's that Aaron Aaron? I mean,
- 28:48Speaker 2: Heather looked like she saw a ghost. She couldn't have
- 28:52Speaker 2: been more caught off guard, and I believe it. And
- 28:54Speaker 2: apparently they made out.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Yeah, and again mainly I think that's how you say
- 29:00Speaker 5: it is over there, like and I can't get a
- 29:03Speaker 5: fucking callback, like why.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Like this guy's getting more airtime than me, Aaron time.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Yeah, So I thought, like I Yeah, I just don't
- 29:18Speaker 5: understand the Britannica situation we found ourselves in.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Hm because it's I mean, we'll get.
- 29:26Speaker 5: There, but like she is just the lean in for
- 29:32Speaker 5: the big Hallmark movie moments.
- 29:35Speaker 4: I can't do it.
- 29:39Speaker 3: My god. Well, you know what we can do. We
- 29:42Speaker 3: can laugh. When Mary is convinced that he's Jared Osmond.
- 29:45Speaker 4: That was awesome.
- 29:48Speaker 2: And they do look a lot of like so, I mean,
- 29:51Speaker 2: she has a point, and I love that Meredith is
- 29:53Speaker 2: like I've never seen Jared before.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Yes, but then for Mary to then be like, I'm
- 30:00Speaker 5: going to get Meredith to do the same thing was awesome.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 5: It was a cool break Mary. I was with you
- 30:10Speaker 5: and I really wanted that to happen.
- 30:13Speaker 3: She didn't bite, she wouldn't bite, but she did google it.
- 30:18Speaker 3: That was really funny.
- 30:19Speaker 2: And then Mary walks away. Wait when did she walk
- 30:23Speaker 2: away and go talk to those girls?
- 30:25Speaker 3: Oh? I think that was later when she was talking
- 30:28Speaker 3: to Heather.
- 30:29Speaker 4: There was so much room crisscrossing to go talk it out.
- 30:33Speaker 4: I did it.
- 30:34Speaker 3: It is confusing, yes, because we had.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Okay, so we had Bronwin pulling Angie aside, and Angie
- 30:46Speaker 2: was telling and and then so Bronwyn told Angie first,
- 30:51Speaker 2: like what's going on and about the parenting comment that
- 30:56Speaker 2: Lisa said about her.
- 30:57Speaker 5: Oh, and then right before that is when Lisa confront
- 31:02Speaker 5: Mary confronts Lisa for always taking everybody's side regarding Heather
- 31:08Speaker 5: being a liar. Okay, So then Heather and comes over
- 31:15Speaker 5: and they they kind of have it out. They basically
- 31:18Speaker 5: say nothing to each other, and then Mary is sideburring
- 31:22Speaker 5: with it.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Yeah. While Mary is side barring with the children on
- 31:26Speaker 4: the couch is.
- 31:27Speaker 5: Then when Angie and that's when Bronwin steps in about
- 31:34Speaker 5: things that Angie said about Lisa.
- 31:37Speaker 2: I gotta tell you when she sat down on that
- 31:39Speaker 2: couch and she pulled out her line from like I
- 31:43Speaker 2: think the second season where she was like women, I
- 31:48Speaker 2: almost lost my mind.
- 31:51Speaker 3: It was so great, it was so great.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 2: So, but Bronwin does tell Angie about what Lee's says
- 32:00Speaker 2: saying and then she goes on to say, like, I
- 32:03Speaker 2: do feel like Heather starts little fires in walks away
- 32:06Speaker 2: to watch them burn. So you know, Bronwin is like,
- 32:13Speaker 2: she's stirring it up.
- 32:14Speaker 5: Babes well, and that is why she chose to dress
- 32:17Speaker 5: as a fire in her interview. Look with that orange
- 32:20Speaker 5: and red flare look that she has now, which is
- 32:23Speaker 5: like you haven't noticed, I mean you're talking Bronwyn's interview
- 32:28Speaker 5: look new one, yeah it came out last week.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Is just an.
- 32:32Speaker 5: Orange base with red flares coming out of the arms
- 32:38Speaker 5: and she's the little fire Oh wow, yeah, so that's
- 32:43Speaker 5: you didn't. Ron's looks are so crazy. I got this
- 32:46Speaker 5: one where she's dressed like an orange rooster is just unnotable.
- 32:52Speaker 5: It's like a basic gap look.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Now, yeah, no, you're right, yeah, and that juxtaposed with
- 32:58Speaker 2: Angie's really like white, she kind of looks like one
- 33:02Speaker 2: of a candle that I have.
- 33:04Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, she looks like that one of the
- 33:06Speaker 5: out the sculpture outfit that Bronwyn had on in the sweatsuit,
- 33:11Speaker 5: but just a tamed down version exactly.
- 33:13Speaker 2: I think these ladies are being influenced by Bronwyn and
- 33:16Speaker 2: they're kicking it up. I think that's when Mary was like,
- 33:19Speaker 2: all right, time to get that rhinestone headpiece down because Bronwin's.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Here to play. Yeah uh so, yeah, Mary and Heather.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Mary says to Heather, everywhere you drop and everywhere you stop,
- 33:35Speaker 2: it's a lie everywhere.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Sorry. Mary was really on. She was on point in
- 33:43Speaker 3: this episode. Everywhere you drop and everywhere you stop, it's
- 33:46Speaker 3: a lie.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Heather's like, that's very hurtful, Mary, and you're a liar
- 33:50Speaker 2: and I've been a friend to you. And it's so
- 33:53Speaker 2: wild to see Heather this season because everything is just
- 33:56Speaker 2: a little disconnected. But then they automatically, just in some
- 34:00Speaker 2: way stop fighting, and that's when Mary goes and tells
- 34:03Speaker 2: the girls on the couch like, I think we worked
- 34:05Speaker 2: it out. And then Angie confronts Heather and and then
- 34:12Speaker 2: is like, hey, I heard or what you're sharing when
- 34:14Speaker 2: you're telling Lucia something a bro And Heather's like, yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 2: you were out a character and you came for Lisa
- 34:21Speaker 2: about her parenting and electronics and something is shifted in
- 34:27Speaker 2: you and you no longer have Lisa's back. And then
- 34:31Speaker 2: Bronwyn gets involved again, and then Heather's like, well, and Bronwyn,
- 34:37Speaker 2: Angie is a dear friend of mine, why are you
- 34:39Speaker 2: in her ear about me? And then Bronwyn really steps
- 34:42Speaker 2: to Heather and says, you really think your head, bitch
- 34:45Speaker 2: and charge and you can manage everyone's relationships, So I
- 34:48Speaker 2: really just don't you know, And then Heather is like, well, Angie,
- 34:53Speaker 2: if you trust her, I can't help you. And then
- 34:56Speaker 2: she walks away. Then that's Jerry arrives.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Justin is messy. Wow, and he's so proud of himself.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Yeah, he's just like he's tickled.
- 35:12Speaker 5: And we'll never know if Whitney told him to text that.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Even though she's like, that was Justin, It's like, was
- 35:19Speaker 5: it Whitney.
- 35:21Speaker 3: I's say, surprised to see Justin text just Jared. I
- 35:29Speaker 3: mean that's Jared. Wait, what's just Jared?
- 35:32Speaker 4: Is that like, there's just Jared. That's the jeweler.
- 35:36Speaker 3: No, it's that's Jered.
- 35:38Speaker 4: That's Jared. And then there's what's the other jeweler?
- 35:43Speaker 3: Oh, there's another jeweler called Justin.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Just no, no, just say Fay. Just say Fay, and
- 35:50Speaker 4: that's Jared.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Okay, just say Fay is a marilynd thing. I've never
- 35:54Speaker 2: heard of that.
- 35:55Speaker 5: It was Chicago. Oh okay, it's the thing in the
- 35:58Speaker 5: Midwest for sure. Okay, I don't remember it. Maybe it's
- 36:01Speaker 5: East Coast too. I just when I moved to Chicago,
- 36:04Speaker 5: I remember those two ads always, right, Oh okay, because
- 36:08Speaker 5: because on the I grew up with Robin's Eith and Walnut,
- 36:13Speaker 5: Our name is our dress?
- 36:15Speaker 4: What it's like, Robin's got a diamond in his beard.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Lots of people think that's really weird rock.
- 36:21Speaker 5: And it was like Robin Robin's Diamonds. I mean, I'm
- 36:25Speaker 5: doing oh wow eighty one, I mean like this, but
- 36:31Speaker 5: it was like it ran the entire eighties into nineties that.
- 36:36Speaker 3: You gotta love a good jingle that'll stick with you
- 36:38Speaker 3: for your life.
- 36:39Speaker 5: But now it's Robin's Diamonds and it's in La like,
- 36:43Speaker 5: it's everywhere, so it's not just eighth the Walnut.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Our name is our dress?
- 36:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, sorry, our name is our address.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Yeah, because it was the store.
- 36:55Speaker 5: The name of the jeweler was Robin's eighth and Walnut
- 37:00Speaker 5: in Philadelphia.
- 37:03Speaker 2: You know who's screaming right now is Steven. Shout out, Stephen,
- 37:09Speaker 2: you know, you know, you know, you know what you're
- 37:12Speaker 2: what she's talking about. Yeah, so that's Jared arrives. And
- 37:17Speaker 2: then Brittani is like and then she dies. She just
- 37:30Speaker 2: dies right there on the floor, and they call ems was.
- 37:35Speaker 4: A perfect impression.
- 37:39Speaker 2: And then and then she starts crying and the best
- 37:43Speaker 2: is that bron when happens to be the one that's stuck.
- 37:46Speaker 3: But near her.
- 37:49Speaker 4: I mean, do you want me to hug you? Is
- 37:51Speaker 4: that what this is going to be?
- 37:54Speaker 3: That was so good?
- 37:55Speaker 4: Wow?
- 37:56Speaker 3: I mean that was cold, you know.
- 37:59Speaker 4: But perfect. I don't think she was intentionally trying to
- 38:03Speaker 4: be cold.
- 38:04Speaker 5: I just think she genuinely didn't want Britannica's face imprinted
- 38:09Speaker 5: in her gorgeous gown. Like I think she was just like,
- 38:14Speaker 5: you're going to ruin my look, is what it came
- 38:16Speaker 5: down to.
- 38:17Speaker 4: It wasn't about being cold, but I guess that is.
- 38:20Speaker 4: But I loved it.
- 38:21Speaker 3: I know, I know, I love it too.
- 38:23Speaker 5: I'm not buying like you and fucking Jared love this shit,
- 38:27Speaker 5: and now you're making us participate, Britannica, and I hate
- 38:30Speaker 5: it because also she she like Lisa was telling Britannica
- 38:37Speaker 5: like we should tell Jared to leave, not Angie the host, right,
- 38:44Speaker 5: And then it was like Britannica, if you recall, was like,
- 38:47Speaker 5: I will go to you know, I'm gonna tell him
- 38:51Speaker 5: to leave myself.
- 38:52Speaker 3: And then they go outside, and by that you mean
- 38:56Speaker 3: she's like, I'm gonna tell myself to leave. Yeah, I'm
- 39:04Speaker 3: leaving because you're here. You don't need to go. We're
- 39:07Speaker 3: the best ees hear hands you stay hard hands. He's like,
- 39:13Speaker 3: do you want me to go? Let me husband, and
- 39:19Speaker 3: then she's like no when she knows, but yeah, he's
- 39:28Speaker 3: like I miss you.
- 39:29Speaker 7: Boo boo bah boo.
- 39:31Speaker 5: They have done this forty thousand times. This is their relationship.
- 39:36Speaker 5: This is why they've started the season. And she's like,
- 39:39Speaker 5: we've been we broke up and got back together seventeen times.
- 39:41Speaker 4: This is what they do.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and then Aaron in the corners like we've been
- 39:46Speaker 2: together for a month.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Someone's like, what that makes on the timeline of this
- 39:53Speaker 3: That does not make sense. She's like, why did you
- 39:58Speaker 3: come here? That's Jared and he's like, I came here
- 40:04Speaker 3: because I got a text from Whitney on Justin's phone and.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I was already blah blah blah, just in my tuxedo
- 40:15Speaker 2: that I got from my brother as a hand me down.
- 40:19Speaker 2: And who's this Aaron character?
- 40:24Speaker 5: I want to change my douche vote from Louis Oh Jared.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Oh wow.
- 40:30Speaker 2: And you were even saying that people were, you know, Ivy,
- 40:35Speaker 2: you were basically saying, like the people that took the
- 40:38Speaker 2: risks for Douche Wars on Patreon, that voted for Jared
- 40:44Speaker 2: were really the brave ones, the.
- 40:46Speaker 5: Ones that they had a screener for this episode. I
- 40:50Speaker 5: now realize what that was. I'm but I actually am
- 40:55Speaker 5: terrified of Louis. So I'm going to actually keep my
- 40:58Speaker 5: Louis vote. Yeah, keep my Louis vote. But man, Jared
- 41:02Speaker 5: has given him a run for.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Well, you're terrified of Louis or you're terrified of Jared.
- 41:05Speaker 4: I'm terrified of Louis.
- 41:07Speaker 3: But you're still going to Jared, and.
- 41:10Speaker 4: I'm going to keep my Louis vote.
- 41:12Speaker 5: I'm saying he Jared almost got me with this episode.
- 41:15Speaker 5: Now I fully understand why people they saw something. I
- 41:18Speaker 5: couldn't see.
- 41:20Speaker 3: You with Jared, we couldn't see it.
- 41:22Speaker 5: I don't like the guy. Now, he's a full one douche.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Oh wow Wow I voted for Johnny j so yeah,
- 41:33Speaker 3: yeah again.
- 41:35Speaker 2: These are seasonal douchebags that made it to the top
- 41:39Speaker 2: ranks of douche Wars.
- 41:41Speaker 4: This bracket, this particular round.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Right, So, and we didn't end up doing brackets, although
- 41:46Speaker 2: people were like, why why don't you narrow it down
- 41:49Speaker 2: now to Johnny, Jay and Louie and I just felt
- 41:52Speaker 2: like it was time to walk away. But perhaps we
- 41:55Speaker 2: will definitely revisit. And March is right around the corner. Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 2: we March madness. Yeah absolutely, we're just getting warmed up, guys.
- 42:06Speaker 2: But before we get into Whitney and Lisa talking, let
- 42:12Speaker 2: me take a quick break. Let's talk about skincare. Is
- 42:15Speaker 2: something I'm very happy to talk about because I love
- 42:19Speaker 2: One's Skin. Who happens to be the sponsor of today's episode.
- 42:22Speaker 2: I've been using their os one face topical supplement, and
- 42:26Speaker 2: I've also been using their eye supplement. Now here's the
- 42:29Speaker 2: thing that I love about One's Skin. They've got the
- 42:32Speaker 2: age reversal technology.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Can we get a shout out for age reversal technology? See,
- 42:38Speaker 2: treating the symptoms rather than the root causes of aging
- 42:41Speaker 2: has been the norm. Most skincare available on the market
- 42:44Speaker 2: is designed to provide a temporary reduction in visible signs
- 42:48Speaker 2: of aging, addressing just the surface symptoms of an underlying
- 42:52Speaker 2: decline in the skin. But one Skin, They've got the stuff.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Their topical supplements are powered by their proprietary peptide os one,
- 43:02Speaker 2: scientifically proven to target the dysfunctional cinescent cells that start
- 43:07Speaker 2: to accumulate around age thirty. Sound familiar, Yeah, we all
- 43:11Speaker 2: notice a change in our skin. So these are the
- 43:13Speaker 2: cells that make skin dull, dry, and more prone to
- 43:17Speaker 2: lines and wrinkles. All of One's Skin's products for the
- 43:20Speaker 2: face and body, including their new mineral sunscreens, are backed
- 43:24Speaker 2: by lab and clinical studies and more than eight thousand
- 43:28Speaker 2: and five star reviews. I don't know about you, but
- 43:30Speaker 2: I want changes to start with my cells, and that's
- 43:34Speaker 2: what they're doing. For a limited time, you can try
- 43:36Speaker 2: one Skin for fifteen percent off using the code Drama
- 43:39Speaker 2: when you check out at one Skin dot Co. Start
- 43:42Speaker 2: your new scientifically proven skincare routine today with one Skin.
- 43:47Speaker 2: One Skin focuses on the cellular aspect of aging, So
- 43:50Speaker 2: get on board at one skin dot Co. That's fifteen
- 43:53Speaker 2: percent off at one Skin dot Co with code Drama.
- 43:57Speaker 2: After your purchase, they'll ask you where you heard about them.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Please support my show and tell them I sent you. Okay, guys,
- 44:02Speaker 2: we are back talking Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Now,
- 44:06Speaker 2: Whitney and Lisa finally talk in Angie's very white home.
- 44:12Speaker 2: That is I think set on a cloud because it's
- 44:14Speaker 2: always sunny, right cloud at night?
- 44:17Speaker 7: Yeah, well that's Greek mythology. You have to build a
- 44:20Speaker 7: house on a cloud.
- 44:23Speaker 2: So Whitney and Lisa talk and they the account is
- 44:29Speaker 2: narrowed the okay. So Whitney was like, the account is
- 44:32Speaker 2: Nara down to you, Lisa, and Lisa is not having it.
- 44:38Speaker 2: And the one thing that we know about Lisa is
- 44:42Speaker 2: that she is not afraid to pick up that phone.
- 44:45Speaker 2: It is not a landline. She's not afraid to be
- 44:48Speaker 2: dialing several lawyers at the same time during a Housewives
- 44:52Speaker 2: fight or receiving Housewives information. And for her to go
- 44:57Speaker 2: from like I did not do that, I'm going the distance, yes,
- 45:03Speaker 2: and like calling her private cybersecurity to you owe me
- 45:07Speaker 2: a big apology. I'm sending you a bill was like
- 45:10Speaker 2: next level. And I completely believe her. And you know,
- 45:15Speaker 2: Alisa said it last week. She said she didn't think
- 45:17Speaker 2: that Lisa did it. I don't remember what I said.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Maybe I didn't agree.
- 45:22Speaker 3: I don't. I don't know.
- 45:24Speaker 5: I think I think, yeah, there was some you introduced
- 45:29Speaker 5: an idea that something could have been planned or something.
- 45:35Speaker 4: I don't know. I forget.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Well, that's neither here nor there. That was last week.
- 45:40Speaker 2: This is now a Liza, are you happy you got
- 45:42Speaker 2: your props?
- 45:42Speaker 4: Okay?
- 45:43Speaker 5: Also, by the way, listen to My Mom's Murder. It's fabulous, awesome, fantastic.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Oh audible, that's or or anywhere else right you can
- 45:52Speaker 3: get it out.
- 45:52Speaker 5: I think I think this one's just on Audible for
- 45:54Speaker 5: right now. My Mom's Murder.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Well, that's one of a Lisa Rosen's podcasts that she produces,
- 46:00Speaker 2: and I haven't listened yet, but because since she was
- 46:04Speaker 2: on the show last week, a lot of Darling says
- 46:07Speaker 2: messaged me that they think it's an amazing podcast.
- 46:10Speaker 4: Oh my god, that was my whole weekend.
- 46:12Speaker 5: I'm now like deeply involved with Rhode Island cold cases.
- 46:16Speaker 4: I'm fully investied. I've dedicated my life.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Wow, that's amazing. Yeah for you, Okay, thank you.
- 46:25Speaker 2: So Whitney uh and Lisa they're having it out and
- 46:27Speaker 2: Whitney stays the course, but you could see a couple
- 46:30Speaker 2: of chinks in her armor as she's like looking at
- 46:32Speaker 2: her going oh shit, like she's really convinced that. I mean,
- 46:36Speaker 2: she's definitely saying this is not her, but she's still
- 46:41Speaker 2: doubling down and accusing her of it.
- 46:44Speaker 4: Whitney. That is a familiar face of Whitney when.
- 46:47Speaker 5: She has overstepped the drama and is like, oh, I
- 46:52Speaker 5: don't know where the side of the pool is right now.
- 46:54Speaker 4: That is like her like uh bub bub bub up.
- 46:58Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, yes, And I think she's also probably like,
- 47:03Speaker 5: is Adam gonna get sued?
- 47:05Speaker 3: I know that freaked me out too.
- 47:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:07Speaker 5: Yeah, So I mean I think that, I mean, who
- 47:11Speaker 5: knows what will happen, But I do think that there's
- 47:13Speaker 5: a part of Lisa that will just be like, no,
- 47:17Speaker 5: just Adam, tell me who you got your information from.
- 47:20Speaker 4: I'll go after that person. But I like, I who knows.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Okay, So this was on the internet today on social media,
- 47:29Speaker 2: and I'll just say that, you guys know twenty five
- 47:33Speaker 2: thousand dollars. You know Dana Wilkie, Uh huh, So she
- 47:37Speaker 2: has a podcast and so she has a whole thing
- 47:40Speaker 2: on this. She's basically saying that that. Okay, So Bravo's
- 47:45Speaker 2: snark Side posted a clip from Dana Wilkie's podcast, and
- 47:51Speaker 2: Bravo Snarkside sums it up by saying, Dani Wilki is
- 47:54Speaker 2: now believed to be the blog source now a storyline
- 47:59Speaker 2: this and okay, Dana says, hold up. Whitney pressured Adam
- 48:03Speaker 2: into saying what she wanted to hear the real source
- 48:07Speaker 2: of the information about Whitney's business is who.
- 48:09Speaker 3: We'd least expect. Who do you least expect? My guess
- 48:13Speaker 3: is Angie. That's what Snarkside said.
- 48:17Speaker 2: But Dana is alluding to the housewife that leaked this information,
- 48:22Speaker 2: and she's not giving a name. She's basically saying, this
- 48:25Speaker 2: is somebody that engine she gives clues and things like that.
- 48:29Speaker 2: You know, this is the type of stuff that I
- 48:31Speaker 2: typically don't come on my podcast and share because it
- 48:35Speaker 2: kind of gets me chasing my tail and I just
- 48:37Speaker 2: don't I don't typically like to deal in the minution necessarily.
- 48:41Speaker 2: But because this is out there right now and now
- 48:45Speaker 2: there's a question mark as to it, actually, Dana's accusing
- 48:49Speaker 2: of of another housewife of actually bringing this information to
- 48:53Speaker 2: the table.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Is interesting. So I don't know what to believe.
- 48:58Speaker 2: I don't know what to say except that that's what's
- 49:00Speaker 2: floating around out there.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Now, when Lisa storms off, you know, this is the thing.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I know she's heated, But this is where you just
- 49:12Speaker 2: don't want to like go to the husband's You just
- 49:14Speaker 2: want to keep them out of it, you know. And
- 49:16Speaker 2: I think her going and saying to Justin, like, your
- 49:19Speaker 2: wife's a fucking liar. It's just not going to go
- 49:21Speaker 2: anywhere good when you do stuff like that. And yeah,
- 49:26Speaker 2: and then Justin of course is standing there with John,
- 49:30Speaker 2: and John's trying to like laugh it off and just
- 49:32Speaker 2: be cool and be a wallflower, and some Justin is
- 49:35Speaker 2: somewhat too until he claps back at Lisa saying, don't
- 49:39Speaker 2: call my wife a fucking liar. And then John's like,
- 49:42Speaker 2: don't say the F word to my wife, and and
- 49:47Speaker 2: then they kind of have a little bit of a
- 49:49Speaker 2: My god, it looked like there were some hands happening.
- 49:51Speaker 3: I don't know, which is not good.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Justin said, I'm gonna lay him out or something to that.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Oh, that's right.
- 50:01Speaker 4: He did something like that, I'm gonna, I'm something.
- 50:04Speaker 5: To the effect of like a position that John will
- 50:09Speaker 5: be in once henceforth Justin is done physically putting him
- 50:14Speaker 5: in said position, allegedly.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Allegedly.
- 50:19Speaker 2: All right, well, okay, so that's that's a wrap for this.
- 50:24Speaker 2: We need to wrap up Salt Lake City, Yeah, because
- 50:28Speaker 2: we need to move on to the Great British bake Off. Oh,
- 50:37Speaker 2: welcome into the tents, Emily. We just have a couple
- 50:45Speaker 2: of minutes to do this because I have to jump
- 50:48Speaker 2: off in order to recap with Deanna at eleven thirty.
- 50:52Speaker 4: Just so you know, yes, ma'am, Yes, ma'am. Three caps
- 50:56Speaker 4: are back to back.
- 50:58Speaker 3: I mean they really are.
- 51:00Speaker 4: It's a workforce block and recaps.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Today, we're doing Golden Bachelorette and.
- 51:09Speaker 4: Yeah, put for two thursdays.
- 51:14Speaker 3: This one is only going to be on the Patreon
- 51:16Speaker 3: by the way, darlings, the Golden Bachelor, Golden Batch. Yeah,
- 51:22Speaker 3: so let's talk great British freakin' bake off. Oh what
- 51:27Speaker 3: a delight, What a delight.
- 51:28Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, I mean, the the big thing is that
- 51:32Speaker 4: one of my faves is gone. But we can get there.
- 51:36Speaker 3: We were there, We're there.
- 51:37Speaker 4: Oh, we're gonna jump right in.
- 51:38Speaker 5: We're gonna yeah, I mean signature, We're gonna skip technical No,
- 51:42Speaker 5: I'm getting weeds on flavor.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Okay, no no, no, no, no, no, I'm not skipping
- 51:47Speaker 2: to the end. But I mean we can we can
- 51:48Speaker 2: say who left? Go ahead, tell the people.
- 51:52Speaker 4: Mike and I do think he was the heart of
- 51:54Speaker 4: the tent.
- 51:55Speaker 2: He was and his laughter filled the hearts and souls
- 51:58Speaker 2: of everyone in in London town.
- 52:01Speaker 3: I mean, the way that he would laugh. He was like,
- 52:06Speaker 3: you know, I mean, he just had a great laugh
- 52:09Speaker 3: and it's gonna be missed.
- 52:11Speaker 5: I know. You know, Dylan has a good laugh too,
- 52:15Speaker 5: but he was, Oh, Mike like was funny. He made
- 52:19Speaker 5: me like he he would say things that were funny,
- 52:23Speaker 5: like uh, he's like when he's like pulling his thing out,
- 52:27Speaker 5: he's like, it's I'm out, i'mkay or whatever.
- 52:30Speaker 3: I'm just like, my it's coming out.
- 52:34Speaker 4: That's right, Yeah, I'm coming out now, okay. And he's like, yeah,
- 52:43Speaker 4: he was so much fun.
- 52:46Speaker 2: It's too bad because it was between him and Somaya
- 52:48Speaker 2: and those are two fan favorites, and it's look, everyone's
- 52:53Speaker 2: a favorite.
- 52:53Speaker 3: I don't know what to say. They're all just such
- 52:55Speaker 3: lovely people.
- 52:57Speaker 4: Yeah, there's nobody that.
- 52:58Speaker 5: I mean, Christiane keeps I would be okay if he left,
- 53:05Speaker 5: but he will probably go very far because he is
- 53:09Speaker 5: in the perfect position, like history has shown us in
- 53:13Speaker 5: the tent.
- 53:14Speaker 4: You just keep showing up and doing really well, You're
- 53:19Speaker 4: probably gonna get to the end.
- 53:21Speaker 5: I don't, you know, Like I could see him being
- 53:23Speaker 5: in the final three, even though like we don't see
- 53:26Speaker 5: as much of his personality as we're seeing in the
- 53:29Speaker 5: other folks.
- 53:30Speaker 3: But that doesn't make a winner. O.
- 53:33Speaker 5: God what Noble knocked down Nellie's caramel lord doing bits
- 53:42Speaker 5: and they foreshadowed it because at the top of the
- 53:45Speaker 5: episode he's at her table and she's like, just get away, like,
- 53:50Speaker 5: don't ruin any.
- 53:52Speaker 3: No, I didn't catch that.
- 53:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta tell you.
- 53:55Speaker 3: She handled that like a champ.
- 53:59Speaker 4: She needs to one of the side bake offs because
- 54:02Speaker 4: my favorite. She is my favorite, and like she.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Was funny, like she's like, I'll just get a ride.
- 54:08Speaker 5: He'll have to drive me home in a posh car
- 54:11Speaker 5: like if I'm out because of.
- 54:12Speaker 2: His shit wait and then her jumping into Alison's arms
- 54:17Speaker 2: at some point. She really is the star. Nelly is
- 54:21Speaker 2: a spreaking star. She didn't have a great week at well,
- 54:25Speaker 2: oh we didn't even announce what week it was. Do
- 54:28Speaker 2: you want to make that announce week? Thank you very much?
- 54:33Speaker 3: That was great.
- 54:34Speaker 4: Alison says it so richly.
- 54:39Speaker 3: She says everything she trabell. She adds a lot of
- 54:47Speaker 3: syllables and sounds.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Wow.
- 54:50Speaker 3: It's great.
- 54:51Speaker 2: By the way, I've never had a brazil nut, but
- 54:54Speaker 2: it was interesting to see how many people are just
- 54:56Speaker 2: cuckoo for brazil nuts.
- 54:59Speaker 4: You've never had one? No, wow, all right, I'll bring
- 55:02Speaker 4: you some. They're great. I wouldn't say it's like my favorite.
- 55:05Speaker 2: But I'm not a great I'm not necessarily a nut person,
- 55:09Speaker 2: which is perhaps why. But I'm interested to find out,
- 55:13Speaker 2: like what that's all about, because they're quite the hit
- 55:16Speaker 2: with this group of people. And Prue not liking peanut
- 55:21Speaker 2: butter was rough for me to hear.
- 55:25Speaker 4: She said, well, she we all know that about Prue,
- 55:29Speaker 4: so I'm glad welcome in.
- 55:32Speaker 5: But she always says that and then when she eats it,
- 55:35Speaker 5: she announces that she doesn't she doesn't like it.
- 55:39Speaker 4: But this was very good.
- 55:41Speaker 5: Yeah, so I'm always like, well I think you like it, Prue,
- 55:46Speaker 5: you just don't want to.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Say it was Georgie's like little candy bars with a
- 55:51Speaker 2: peanut butter that we're talking about right now.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Was that in the technical challenge?
- 55:55Speaker 5: No?
- 55:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a signature that is a signature.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Tartatine.
- 56:01Speaker 4: No, that was the technical Oh so the signature is first, Yeah,
- 56:06Speaker 4: the signare I'm sorry first, and yeah that's yeah.
- 56:10Speaker 2: What was your My point was that it looked incredible.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Georgie's looked amazing.
- 56:17Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, Andrews didn't look good.
- 56:21Speaker 5: He just had the simple bars. Yeah, and I thought
- 56:24Speaker 5: he was going to get knocked for it. But they
- 56:26Speaker 5: said that they looked great, and then also they both
- 56:30Speaker 5: loved them. So sometimes there's those that don't look so
- 56:35Speaker 5: great on camera, but like in the tenth they they shine,
- 56:38Speaker 5: I mean.
- 56:39Speaker 3: And they taste great.
- 56:40Speaker 2: Well, Georgie almost gets another handshake, I mean almost.
- 56:44Speaker 4: The fake out handshake. I'm also not enjoying well.
- 56:49Speaker 2: And I'm surprised to hear you say that because you're
- 56:51Speaker 2: a prankster, and personally I think it's mean to do
- 56:55Speaker 2: that type of thing when the stakes are few.
- 56:58Speaker 4: I don't like that. Yeah, I'm not I'm not loving this.
- 57:01Speaker 3: I don't like a mean prank.
- 57:04Speaker 5: Yeah, especially like there's so much riding on the handshake.
- 57:08Speaker 5: There's so much stress in there. If it was like
- 57:11Speaker 5: Nol doing it, ha ha whatever. But that it's Paul,
- 57:14Speaker 5: I'm like, yeah, no, we don't want that. We want
- 57:19Speaker 5: we want Prue saying it's a it's a it's a
- 57:23Speaker 5: little triumph and we want a legit handshake if deserved
- 57:26Speaker 5: and explained.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Why now can we move on to the technical Yes,
- 57:33Speaker 2: we can. The pair tartatine or tartatan is they say
- 57:40Speaker 2: with ice cream.
- 57:42Speaker 3: Oh god, it looks so good.
- 57:44Speaker 4: I know that's even Andrews. That was like they said, burned.
- 57:50Speaker 4: I would have I wanted to eat that one like
- 57:53Speaker 4: it looked so No, no, you would not know.
- 57:57Speaker 3: You would not know. No, no, no, no, no no,
- 58:02Speaker 3: no no no, Emily, I do not like burned. I
- 58:06Speaker 3: do not like charred.
- 58:08Speaker 2: And you won't you won't make me do it. But
- 58:11Speaker 2: the rough posse, the lamination. I was worried that the
- 58:16Speaker 2: butter in some of the dough was not staying frozen.
- 58:19Speaker 2: That was gonna screw some people up.
- 58:20Speaker 4: And it did.
- 58:23Speaker 2: But but uh, is it true that, like with the
- 58:26Speaker 2: signature and the technical, no one really wins necessarily. They
- 58:31Speaker 2: don't give a winner to these each round. They just
- 58:34Speaker 2: kind of share whose they like.
- 58:37Speaker 5: The signature is a sharing who's they like, and it's considered,
- 58:41Speaker 5: but there's not a defined winner.
- 58:43Speaker 4: Oh technical, there is a first in a last place.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Oh right, Georgie one, yes, who was the last place? Uh?
- 58:54Speaker 4: Was it Mike?
- 58:56Speaker 3: I think it was? Actually yeah, yeah, it was either Deep.
- 59:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he was low. I don't remember if it
- 59:06Speaker 4: was Mike or Andrew.
- 59:07Speaker 5: I don't remember who came in last place for the technical.
- 59:09Speaker 5: But you know, even if you come in last place,
- 59:11Speaker 5: you could still win Star Baker. That's what happened with
- 59:14Speaker 5: Dylan last week. He came in last place in the
- 59:16Speaker 5: technical and still won.
- 59:18Speaker 4: Wow.
- 59:19Speaker 5: Yeah, So then, I mean it's definitely a it screws
- 59:24Speaker 5: with your head, I'm sure, but like it's not game over.
- 59:30Speaker 4: Yeah. So then the caramel moose cake. I love a
- 59:33Speaker 4: moose cake. Oh, that's like my favorite.
- 59:35Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't know a moose cake. I've
- 59:38Speaker 3: never met a moose cake, so I don't I mean,
- 59:41Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 59:42Speaker 4: You absolutely have, because a lot of grocery store cakes are.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Okay, hold on, I take that back. I just remembered something.
- 59:50Speaker 2: This is hilarious. When I worked at a b stro
- 59:54Speaker 2: that had it was a French American b stro and
- 59:56Speaker 2: in the front there were cheat there was cheese, pete
- 59:59Speaker 2: bread like a little shop, and in the back was
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: a restaurant. While we would make cakes and things like
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: that to put in the front, you know, area to sell,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: but also serve them for dessert. Well, when I was
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: working the mornings in the in the little beast the
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: bread shop, I would actually help bake some of the things,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: and like the chef was just like, Okay, you're gonna
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: make the moose cake today, and I was like, I
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: don't know what the fuck I'm doing, and they just
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: basically told me what to do, and in the order
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: of which to do it.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Cut to.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Once you layer the moose in between the cake, you're
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: supposed to put it in the refrigerator.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Okay, it has to set, yeah, right, Yeah, So.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I put it in the oven because I was like, okay,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: so because I had to do all this stuff with
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: the oven, do this first, do this in the oven
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: all and then I mean I caught it within sixty
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: seconds as I like I was walking, I'm like, oh
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: my god, and it was like she just starting to drip,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: grabbed it out and it was fine. But that is
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: definitely a moosecake. So I suppose I have had one.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: Yeah, they're I mean, like, I'm not an icing person,
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: but I am a I love moose, and I feel
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: like more and more grocery store cakes are like moose icing.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: They're not interesting.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Yeah, They're like they're more like fluffy.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: It's not like you know, I don't know. And then
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: like the middle layer is definitely like moosey not icing
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: moosy moose Uh.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: But I think I mentioned this.
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: Paul's like favorite is Banafi banana toffee, like Banafi pie
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: is like his favorite. So you're gonna see a lot
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: of Banafi flavorings.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Oh interesting, okay, but that's.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Also like everybody's favorite in the UK. Like that's like
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: such a you grow up on it thing.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Caramel is just great. I mean that was a good
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: thing to choose for a bake off.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: Well it's it's a that's every year. It's caramel Week.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: Oh it is.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Do they do that like game categories every week?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: I mean every year.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Oh they did biscuit.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Oh so they all can anticipate what they're going to do.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: Oh that's very cool.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: I like that. And it's hard to do, like caramel,
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: like they were speaking to it. So it's like even
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: if you think, you know, like, it's still going to
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: be hard to do.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: It looked hard And I wasn't expecting them to have
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: such detailed design work in their cakes. Yeah yeah, I
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: didn't think they all looked great, but you know, some
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: looked better than others who had that. Andy's tree was
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: something else.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I like that Proof hated the flavor.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: It was amazing, horrible, absolutely dreadful.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: But I think what she meant is that it was
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: just like so sweet and kids would love it.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: That she was like, Uh, by the way, when we
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: got Nellie talking about her husband, uh huh God damn it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: That gal gets me every week.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: She says that her husband is her inspiration. He believes
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: in her and she doesn't believe in herself and all
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: this stuff, and so that cake goes for him. And
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: I'm just telling you what. Her love story is phenomenal
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: because she tells everybody that she met him in a
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: kebab shop and I'm done love her.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: I love her so much. I love him both.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: It's like a Meg Ryan movie.
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: It's like the story Britannica would like us to have
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: in Utah with her and Jared.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: But Nellie's the real deal.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she would like that. Yeah, maybe it is just
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Jared Nelly any think of it. I think you're right,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: just Jared, okait, right, it's not that's Jared. Maybe it's
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: both shit, just say.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: We're back on this.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry, but I need to figure this out.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: No, it's that's Jared.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: Okay, so it is that all right?
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. So anyway, because we.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: Had back in Chicago, I had uh friends, Jared and
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: Fay that dated and they, I mean it was something
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: right now of the jewelry commercial they broke up, but yeah, who.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Got to keep the ring?
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: So I felt bad for Samaya and she was devastated
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: because in every shot when they were talking about other
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: people's moose cakes, you could see her in the back
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: with her head down, just.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: Like they didn't even mention my favors.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: The moose was not it didn't set right, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: it was tough.
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: Mike's cake must have been pretty bad for them to
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: not mention all the other issues with it and just
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: call it Tara missou.
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: Oh yeah, because they clocked it. I'm sure they were
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: just trying to be kind of friendly. I think they were,
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: though they don't usually try to protect someone unless it's
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: really bad and really obvious that they're going home. But
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: uh yeah, I don't know that. I was surprised they
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: didn't mention it. H wow.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so Mike's cake was stodgy?
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Yessers, Okay, anything else you want to say about the
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: moose Cake.
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: No. I thought it was really cool though that at
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: the end of the episode, when Paul was talking about
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: Mike leaving, he did plug his little farm shop and
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: he's like, I'm going to go visit Mike at his
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: farm shop.
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: And I was like, Oh, that was nice of him.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: He didn't have to do that.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: That is really nice. Yeah, So who won Showstopper?
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: Georgie won the whole episode, So after Showstopper it's kind
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: of like signature and where you don't know if there's
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: a definite winner. Then they go back and they kind
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: of add everything up in terms of the whole day and.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: Prior days and talk it out with Noel.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Great Alison, mm hmm, okay, yeah, we'll anything else you'll
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: have to say about that.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: No, really, I think you know what. I forget when
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: next week is going to be. I forgot to look.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't recall hearing it either. I did
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: get Maddie to watch it with me for a little
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: while while she was falling asleep, so that was really cute.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: And remind her to watch Junior Bakeoff.
