- 0:03Speaker 1: and Matt Flynn Amsday.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Hester and Hester.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Far from carrying each other to and Natty to carrying
- 0:11Speaker 1: each other on the air Control Live from the Mercedes
- 0:18Speaker 1: Benz Baton Rouge studio.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's off the bench, all right, welcome back here now
- 0:58Speaker 2: number three, O t be one O four five ESPN
- 1:01Speaker 2: Beton Rouge. It is quickly becoming my favorite segment of
- 1:06Speaker 2: the week.
- 1:07Speaker 3: It is now time for a little Deer.
- 1:10Speaker 4: De Landre the lore.
- 1:15Speaker 5: It's so funny. So I was trying to get all
- 1:19Speaker 5: these questions.
- 1:20Speaker 6: I should have told y'all during the break, but I
- 1:23Speaker 6: was gonna see if we could do it.
- 1:25Speaker 5: But you still do it.
- 1:26Speaker 4: We can do that.
- 1:28Speaker 6: We're okay whatever y'all want to do. But I I
- 1:31Speaker 6: have a few that we can do. What were we
- 1:34Speaker 6: going to do a big deal.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Or no big deal? Would you rather let's see that instead?
- 1:39Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:39Speaker 7: So the first question, what would you would you rather?
- 1:44Speaker 3: Do? It?
- 1:45Speaker 8: Here?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Next dear Delandre coming up at nine fifteen, because there
- 1:48Speaker 2: is a ton of questions coming in which we do love.
- 1:50Speaker 2: So we're gonna have Deer de Laundre. So we could
- 1:52Speaker 2: do a little. Would you rather Wednesday? Instead?
- 1:56Speaker 5: Yeah, that's fine. We don't have a would you rather think?
- 2:00Speaker 3: I know we probably should, we should.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I tried to, but I think we've done this. I
- 2:06Speaker 2: know Flynn and I used to do this at nighttime.
- 2:08Speaker 2: What would you rather Winnesday?
- 2:10Speaker 3: We got the old graphic pack? Oh there you go?
- 2:14Speaker 4: When was that graphic from?
- 2:16Speaker 7: I didn't make it, I just dug it up. I
- 2:19Speaker 7: knew we had one.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Som right, big sound, that's not there?
- 2:24Speaker 5: Would you rather?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Would you rather your team win the SEC but lose
- 2:28Speaker 2: to your rival, or beat your rival but missed the
- 2:31Speaker 2: SEC title game?
- 2:32Speaker 7: Win the SEC title? My seasons are not defined by
- 2:35Speaker 7: one game.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Okay, all right, all right, he was ready for that.
- 2:38Speaker 3: It's like Ohio State last year. Right yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Alabama wins national championships all the time without winning their
- 2:44Speaker 2: division back in the day when there was divisions in
- 2:46Speaker 2: the SEC.
- 2:47Speaker 7: Right like, but like ten years from now that nobody's
- 2:49Speaker 7: gonna care that they lost the mission out.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Like Jacob Tammy is my boy, Wesley Woodard my boy.
- 2:54Speaker 2: They talked about Kentucky beating us in oh seven. I
- 2:57Speaker 2: don't give a damn. We won a National Championship. Congrats
- 3:01Speaker 2: on the wind though.
- 3:02Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm not petty like I just I want championships.
- 3:06Speaker 9: I'm tom obviously I want to beat Florida.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Ooh, that's yeah, lose to Florida.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Lose Florida. But when it did that, not three.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I did, that's right, that's before, like y'all, really, I
- 3:18Speaker 2: didn't hate it as much.
- 3:20Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, championships all day, that's easy.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Steve Spurrier definitely started LSU's winning ways against Florida when
- 3:29Speaker 2: he called coach Saban and talked trash about three that
- 3:33Speaker 2: I had never seen and still to this day, I've
- 3:35Speaker 2: never seen coach Saban as mad as. When he told
- 3:38Speaker 2: the story about Spurrier calling him to talk trash about
- 3:40Speaker 2: Florida beating y'all on O three, that man was fired up.
- 3:45Speaker 2: You know who's fired up because he starts holding his hamstring.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Remember that he was holding his hamstring as he was
- 3:49Speaker 2: telling the story. Steve Spurrier, he's the reason that Florida
- 3:54Speaker 2: can't beat LSU very often.
- 3:57Speaker 7: I can imagine if anybody gets under Nick Saban's skin,
- 4:00Speaker 7: it's Steve. Yeah, I can say that right like that,
- 4:03Speaker 7: that's the guy that's the one, Roger.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I think I would rather win a championship because, like
- 4:11Speaker 6: Taylor said, my season is not defined by one game,
- 4:14Speaker 6: and I think it falls into the same thing that we,
- 4:16Speaker 6: you know, make fun of other teams about where you're like, oh,
- 4:18Speaker 6: l s U's your super Bowl, you know, and whenever
- 4:21Speaker 6: you beat LSU, they celebrate, they make cups like Texas
- 4:24Speaker 6: eight and four did, and I don't want to.
- 4:26Speaker 5: I don't want to do that.
- 4:27Speaker 6: I want to be I want to have a real
- 4:29Speaker 6: championship and not celebrate the fact that we beat Texas
- 4:33Speaker 6: A and M, because we should beat Texas A and M.
- 4:35Speaker 9: If you beat your rival, you're celebrated. If you win
- 4:37Speaker 9: a championship, you're remembered. Yeah right, thank you, all right.
- 4:46Speaker 9: Would you rather be famous for something you didn't actually
- 4:51Speaker 9: do or be completely unknown and secretly responsible for something
- 4:55Speaker 9: world changing, I'd rather be I'd rather be famous for someone.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I didn't do.
- 5:00Speaker 6: I think I would rather be secretly responsible for something
- 5:03Speaker 6: because I would feel like I accomplished something and I
- 5:06Speaker 6: would be proud of myself and I don't need everybody
- 5:08Speaker 6: else to affirm it for me.
- 5:10Speaker 3: You know, which of these talks not my favorite? Thing
- 5:12Speaker 3: in the world. So if you do something and you're
- 5:13Speaker 3: like really known for it's a lot of small dogs
- 5:15Speaker 3: involved in that. In which and then just like kind
- 5:19Speaker 3: of watch it play out from afar in.
- 5:21Speaker 7: Which are these scenarios money which make the most money?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Right?
- 5:29Speaker 9: No, see famous for something you didn't do or a
- 5:32Speaker 9: complete unknown but you did something, but.
- 5:35Speaker 3: You did it and so you're getting some kickbacks.
- 5:38Speaker 4: It says world changing. So if you change in the.
- 5:41Speaker 3: World, you're getting some dollars.
- 5:43Speaker 9: I'm saying like maybe like you you came up with
- 5:46Speaker 9: like some cure for disease.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Again, like if you do that, you're getting dollar dollars.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Not if nobody knows you did it.
- 5:53Speaker 7: Somebody knows, somebody bought the pack person who stole your
- 5:56Speaker 7: id the ENDNW go, uh give me the money. Yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 7: I don't care.
- 6:03Speaker 6: So if I'm picking like i'd rather if I'm picking
- 6:07Speaker 6: that I'd rather be not known for the invention that
- 6:09Speaker 6: I invent, and Taylor's picking that he'd rather be famous.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Is Taylor the one who got famous for my invention?
- 6:16Speaker 7: Right in this scenario, like I'm the only person that
- 6:21Speaker 7: knows she did it, So she didn't get the money
- 6:22Speaker 7: from it because I got the credit for it.
- 6:24Speaker 9: You could play on a lot of scenarios where it's pretty,
- 6:28Speaker 9: it's gonna be awful. It's an awful thing to put
- 6:30Speaker 9: yourself in because I don't want somebody else getting famous
- 6:32Speaker 9: off what I did right, right, But also, like if
- 6:35Speaker 9: I got a way to like help people and save
- 6:38Speaker 9: people without being known, that's cool, that's great.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I would choose that.
- 6:42Speaker 9: But like if I creme up, if I if I
- 6:44Speaker 9: created Google and then Taylor stole it from me and
- 6:48Speaker 9: I got nothing.
- 6:48Speaker 3: From it and nobody.
- 6:51Speaker 9: Every time I like try to claim that I made it,
- 6:53Speaker 9: you sue me, right, I.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Don't, and then I make even more money. That's what
- 6:56Speaker 7: I'm saying. I don't want to be that guy.
- 6:59Speaker 3: The dog dog girl out there. People seems awful.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Would you rather be able to talk to animals or
- 7:07Speaker 6: be able to speak every language fluently?
- 7:11Speaker 4: Speak every.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I'm talking to animals, I guess, you know. But cool
- 7:15Speaker 3: for a little bit, yeah, like for a week it
- 7:17Speaker 3: would be sweet, you know, Like I mean, doctor Doolittle,
- 7:20Speaker 3: I'm sure he animals are dumb.
- 7:22Speaker 4: The tiny brains I love my.
- 7:25Speaker 7: Dog feel like he's probably an a hole. Sometimes I
- 7:27Speaker 7: don't need to have that discussion. Probably like him better
- 7:31Speaker 7: that we can't communicate.
- 7:33Speaker 9: It would be pretty sweet to be able to like
- 7:35Speaker 9: walk around and just like tell birds to come land
- 7:38Speaker 9: on you and stuff.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Would be cool. That would cool.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It'd be a great party.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You the lady from home alone too, Yeah, you're the
- 7:45Speaker 2: pigeon lady in Central Park.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yeah, that'd be sweet.
- 7:48Speaker 5: But why he could be like snow White.
- 7:52Speaker 3: I don't know. Yeah, I just want to speak every language.
- 7:54Speaker 9: Or I could be like you go into a horse
- 7:56Speaker 9: racing situation and talk to the horse, say I need
- 7:59Speaker 9: you to.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Come, say about how you feeling.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Man, I don't win. This thing came coming third.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I don't really think they can control that.
- 8:06Speaker 7: But yeah, because like well, like to a larger spoint,
- 8:11Speaker 7: you go out of the country, you know, like you're
- 8:13Speaker 7: instantly like you already know everything.
- 8:15Speaker 3: You're good.
- 8:16Speaker 7: There's no learning curve. If I want to go to Paris,
- 8:18Speaker 7: hard to speak French, good, it seems way more useful.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna be able to speak every language. I
- 8:26Speaker 2: just think about the power that would have.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I have a lot of power too.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 9: No, I've choosing that for sure, choosing the animal thing.
- 8:32Speaker 9: It feel like I could do for like ten days,
- 8:34Speaker 9: that'd be sweet.
- 8:37Speaker 3: But for longevity, job opportunities, wealth building.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Oh yeah, every language.
- 8:43Speaker 3: All right, you're up.
- 8:44Speaker 7: Yeah, So would you rather you're out in public? Okay,
- 8:48Speaker 7: every time you eat, you got to wear a bib,
- 8:52Speaker 7: or every time you order a drink it comes in
- 8:54Speaker 7: a sippy cup.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Bib bib's got to be the answer. Bibs are absolutely
- 9:02Speaker 3: practically back in the.
- 9:03Speaker 7: Day seen in public and nonetheless, but bibb's probably the answer.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but we've all been to you know, any kind
- 9:09Speaker 2: of like seafood crab boiled type restaurant and and just
- 9:14Speaker 2: kind of be sappies like the.
- 9:16Speaker 9: Old school, like television, the people would sit down at
- 9:19Speaker 9: the dinner table and they would touch the napkin rut
- 9:21Speaker 9: in their collar right there.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Oh, sippy cup feels like, I mean, it's hard to
- 9:26Speaker 3: drink out of those.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Things, Like you're sitting at a bar though they're grown
- 9:29Speaker 7: adults and they give you the sippy cup. Seems bad.
- 9:32Speaker 9: I like sippy cups would create more in taking more
- 9:37Speaker 9: gas to create more burts because you know you're sipping
- 9:40Speaker 9: it through the little sippy straw situation, And I like
- 9:43Speaker 9: a lot. It's like gurglings like like there's a lot
- 9:46Speaker 9: of water going through there, got of air going through there.
- 9:49Speaker 9: I really thought about this, and I just thought about it.
- 9:51Speaker 9: I just think real fast, Well, I don't know.
- 9:57Speaker 8: There.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Would you rather trade your star player for a hall
- 10:04Speaker 2: of future picks or keep them in a risk losing
- 10:08Speaker 2: him for nothing?
- 10:11Speaker 3: So kind of like the Paul Skans conversation.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Would you rather have Paul Skans and you're the pirates,
- 10:19Speaker 2: trade him and get six players that are supposed to
- 10:22Speaker 2: be good, or just let it ride, keep Paul Skins
- 10:25Speaker 2: for as long as you can and get nothing in return.
- 10:27Speaker 6: I think the Pirates are proof that you should do
- 10:30Speaker 6: the former, just do.
- 10:31Speaker 3: The opposite of what they're Yeah, first instincts.
- 10:34Speaker 6: Yes, I mean they're just I get it's like only
- 10:38Speaker 6: his second year, but it's not getting any better, and
- 10:42Speaker 6: I don't really see them making any moves to get
- 10:45Speaker 6: better either, So I think just let him go.
- 10:50Speaker 9: As you keep them. I don't want them to keep
- 10:52Speaker 9: Paul skiing. I'm saying in this scenario, it's the only
- 10:55Speaker 9: thing that's making you relevant.
- 10:56Speaker 3: You are talking about them all the time, and that
- 10:59Speaker 3: is marketing.
- 11:00Speaker 9: Jerry Jones said it yesterday, like out of his mouth
- 11:03Speaker 9: said all this press that we're getting is good for us.
- 11:06Speaker 3: He said it. He said the thing out loud.
- 11:09Speaker 9: That you're not supposed to say, like I'm creating this
- 11:11Speaker 9: controversy because it's good for it. Like the Pirates. People
- 11:14Speaker 9: are talking about the Pirates for the first time in
- 11:16Speaker 9: a long time. And if they trade them for six
- 11:18Speaker 9: other people, they're going to be good.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Uh, they're not.
- 11:21Speaker 9: Or at least, they got the best player in the in baseball,
- 11:24Speaker 9: the best picture in baseball, and they got eyes on them,
- 11:27Speaker 9: their their their club is more valuable with him on
- 11:30Speaker 9: there than six other potentially good players.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Maybe valuable, but they're still not good.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Are they going to be good with six other Maybe
- 11:39Speaker 3: maybe goods?
- 11:40Speaker 4: I would choose.
- 11:41Speaker 9: I would take I got the best picture in baseball
- 11:44Speaker 9: right now, then maybe a better team.
- 11:48Speaker 7: Well, because but to your point, I don't trust them
- 11:51Speaker 7: to use those assets properly that they're going to get
- 11:53Speaker 7: in return, anyways.
- 11:55Speaker 9: Said I want them to trade Paul Skeins. Don't get
- 11:58Speaker 9: me wrong, but if I was them, I wouldn't. They're
- 12:04Speaker 9: not don't always get what you.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Want any pirates. You don't always get what anybody got
- 12:11Speaker 3: any more? Would you rather before we take a break.
- 12:13Speaker 7: Yeah, I got one that Matt just made me think of.
- 12:16Speaker 7: Would you rather your team be dominant for a five
- 12:20Speaker 7: years stretch and never win anything for the next twenty years,
- 12:24Speaker 7: or you want to be like super competitive and once
- 12:27Speaker 7: every ten years you get a championship.
- 12:30Speaker 10: Hm?
- 12:31Speaker 9: Well, I mean you're you kind of dis are you
- 12:35Speaker 9: describing ln LSU describing the Dallas Cowboys because you brought
- 12:38Speaker 9: up Jerry.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Jones thirty years LSU's like they're gonna have championship runs,
- 12:43Speaker 2: but it's not like the high end like it has
- 12:45Speaker 2: been for Georgia, Alabama somebody when they don't win champions.
- 12:50Speaker 7: Let's say Kaylyn de bort is terrible Alabama tanks. Okay,
- 12:53Speaker 7: would you rather twenty years for twenty years? Would you
- 12:55Speaker 7: rather have the run they had and then twenty years
- 12:58Speaker 7: of garbage or be more like the.
- 13:00Speaker 9: Run they had? The run they had was ten years plus. Yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 9: So I would not rather have a five year stretch
- 13:07Speaker 9: with twenty years of bad I would not either. I
- 13:09Speaker 9: don't want that. But they had a ten twelve, thirteen
- 13:12Speaker 9: year stretch maybe a little bit more, uh, where they
- 13:16Speaker 9: were the best, and I don't ever see them going
- 13:18Speaker 9: twenty years, but I'll take the longevity really good. Give
- 13:22Speaker 9: me championship every ten years. I'll take that all day.
- 13:25Speaker 9: Because you're besides like the tight window of three to
- 13:27Speaker 9: seven like you're kind of describing LSU.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I mean you played for another one in eleven.
- 13:33Speaker 2: That changes the mats if you win that one, great team,
- 13:36Speaker 2: you win one in nineteen, so you're gonna win championships.
- 13:38Speaker 3: But the in betweens are kind of what we're talking about.
- 13:41Speaker 4: The tweeners.
- 13:43Speaker 2: All right, we'll take your break and when we come back,
- 13:44Speaker 2: a little dear de Landre here on one of four.
- 13:46Speaker 3: To five ESPN battery off the bench.
- 13:50Speaker 2: We say it all the time, and we're gonna say
- 13:52Speaker 2: it again because it is factual.
- 13:53Speaker 3: It's always a great time to go for dose. Right now.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Look, summertime might be over, but that is okay because
- 13:58Speaker 2: tailgating season is starting. We all know, we all look
- 14:02Speaker 2: forward to it every single year here in Baton Rouge,
- 14:04Speaker 2: and there is nothing better than having the games before
- 14:07Speaker 2: LSU plays on. You open up the ice chest and
- 14:10Speaker 2: you see a couple of ice cold do sequis it
- 14:13Speaker 2: is here?
- 14:14Speaker 3: Football season is upon us. Enjoy some do.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Saqi, So go for Dose to at your tailgate this year.
- 14:19Speaker 2: And look they got a website and everything. Oh yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 2: Sees dot com sell you all about it.
- 14:23Speaker 9: Have your ID ready that you got to put in
- 14:25Speaker 9: that info to be able to look at the website.
- 14:28Speaker 9: But we are Wednesday, We're about to get uh the
- 14:32Speaker 9: calt hump day because we're at the top of the hill.
- 14:34Speaker 9: We're looking down at the weekend, and let's get ready
- 14:36Speaker 9: for the weekend. Go when you're going to the market,
- 14:38Speaker 9: when you get some pumping, some gas, whatever it is,
- 14:41Speaker 9: get some do saqis, get you twelve pack, get you
- 14:43Speaker 9: twenty four pack, whatever is, get it ice down cold
- 14:46Speaker 9: Mexican Lagger, Gopher Dose, get your dough Sakies.
- 14:48Speaker 10: Today Friday after five.
- 15:07Speaker 1: This is off the bench n.
- 15:17Speaker 2: All right, welcome back in o TV one four five
- 15:20Speaker 2: ESPN Beton Rouge.
- 15:23Speaker 3: For a second time.
- 15:24Speaker 2: You get the beautiful harmonies of Flynn and Hester here
- 15:28Speaker 2: Delandre de Landre.
- 15:33Speaker 5: I love it so much. It really does. Voice of
- 15:38Speaker 5: an angel.
- 15:40Speaker 6: One might say, Okay, so I'm excited because I get
- 15:44Speaker 6: to finally, I never play Amy Winehouse on this show,
- 15:48Speaker 6: and she is one of my favorites ever of all time.
- 15:51Speaker 5: So I finally get to play some Amy on.
- 15:52Speaker 6: Here because we got yeah r I P for real,
- 15:55Speaker 6: she should have went to rehab. We got a question,
- 15:59Speaker 6: Dear Delandra, is it wrong to play the just friends
- 16:03Speaker 6: game if the other person has greater expectations?
- 16:06Speaker 5: So this is just friends by Amy one?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Oh no, not the friend zone zone.
- 16:14Speaker 6: I have like a follow up question to this, but
- 16:16Speaker 6: like obviously I'm not gonna get the answer to it,
- 16:18Speaker 6: Like do y'all both are we on the same page here?
- 16:22Speaker 6: Like I guess my first thing I would say is
- 16:25Speaker 6: get on the same page, like does she know that
- 16:28Speaker 6: you are just friends?
- 16:30Speaker 5: Or are you giving her greater expectations? You know what
- 16:33Speaker 5: I mean?
- 16:34Speaker 6: Like, let's let's define, let's dtr find the relationship. And
- 16:40Speaker 6: if you want to be just friends and she has
- 16:42Speaker 6: greater expectations, then you need to let her know that
- 16:44Speaker 6: because you can't be wasting people's time out here. You know,
- 16:48Speaker 6: we're grown. We can't be chasing waterfalls. So I think
- 16:54Speaker 6: that the first.
- 16:57Speaker 2: You enjoy being around this person, yeah you feel that
- 17:00Speaker 2: way about them, But you know if you tell them
- 17:02Speaker 2: that you don't feel that way, then you lose that person. Yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 2: so they'll be completely out of your life.
- 17:06Speaker 6: Yeah, but still you're that benefiting, Like, yeah, if you
- 17:10Speaker 6: actually like that person, then you have to be honest
- 17:13Speaker 6: with them. And if that's that, if that's what the
- 17:16Speaker 6: outcome is, then it just is what it is.
- 17:19Speaker 5: You know, what did they say, if you love somebody,
- 17:20Speaker 5: set them free?
- 17:22Speaker 6: So I think it kind of is emotion yeah, or manipulate.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Them No, No, No, we're giving good.
- 17:33Speaker 4: So good communication, got it.
- 17:35Speaker 5: I'm down with manipulation.
- 17:37Speaker 6: No, But I would say, is it if it's the
- 17:40Speaker 6: question is is it wrong to play the just friends
- 17:42Speaker 6: game if the other person has greater expectations, Yes, if
- 17:45Speaker 6: they're not aware of what's going on. But if they're
- 17:48Speaker 6: they're aware and they have the greater expectations and they
- 17:51Speaker 6: know that you just want to be friends and that's
- 17:53Speaker 6: kind of on them, you know, like.
- 17:55Speaker 5: That's on them.
- 17:57Speaker 9: But somebody says that it want to be more? Or
- 18:00Speaker 9: can you even be friends at that point?
- 18:03Speaker 6: No, I don't think so, because it's always gonna be
- 18:05Speaker 6: that weird like, yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Weird situation.
- 18:08Speaker 9: Yeah, speaking of friends, I have to have a little
- 18:12Speaker 9: fun fact for you. Okay, on the show Friends, the
- 18:15Speaker 9: word friends is mentioned in every single episode.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Well, fun fact for none of that.
- 18:21Speaker 5: I didn't know that.
- 18:22Speaker 6: And I'm a I would say I'm a huge Friends fan,
- 18:25Speaker 6: but I didn't. I guess I didn't notice that or
- 18:27Speaker 6: pay attention to.
- 18:28Speaker 9: My son got the recently got this book of like
- 18:30Speaker 9: three hundred random facts and he's been reading it like
- 18:32Speaker 9: in the car and stuff.
- 18:33Speaker 5: And yeah, a book of three hundred random.
- 18:36Speaker 4: It's like just three hundred random things.
- 18:38Speaker 5: I like that.
- 18:39Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Uh.
- 18:40Speaker 6: There's a question in the follow up question to this
- 18:42Speaker 6: in the chat Nioki, you're cool with friends with benefits?
- 18:45Speaker 5: Right same page?
- 18:46Speaker 6: I mean yeah, if y'all are on the same page, Like,
- 18:48Speaker 6: that's the only thing that it is wrong if y'all
- 18:51Speaker 6: aren't on the same page.
- 18:52Speaker 5: But if y'all are, then whatever, who cares.
- 18:55Speaker 3: That's why it's called friends with benefits. If you're not
- 18:57Speaker 3: on the same page, probably not gonna be any.
- 18:59Speaker 5: Beannies, right, you have to be okay with that?
- 19:02Speaker 3: Those are going to be happening.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Nope, not at all. I like this question.
- 19:08Speaker 6: And I'm gonna give you this song chump Okay, it's
- 19:11Speaker 6: chub thumpthing chubbu chumbo bumba.
- 19:15Speaker 5: I can never say it.
- 19:16Speaker 6: This is the this is the song that I'm gonna
- 19:17Speaker 6: give you because I just feel like it's the right
- 19:19Speaker 6: vibe for this. I'm not saying you got knocked down,
- 19:22Speaker 6: but dear Delandras, thirty eight too old to go back
- 19:25Speaker 6: to college to get a degree in a totally different
- 19:28Speaker 6: field of work and basically start my career over at
- 19:30Speaker 6: forty two when I graduate. Question, I don't think it's
- 19:34Speaker 6: too late. I don't think it's ever too late to
- 19:35Speaker 6: do anything, you know, like, because think of it this way,
- 19:39Speaker 6: you can either those four years are still gonna go by,
- 19:43Speaker 6: So you can either do what you wanted to do
- 19:46Speaker 6: in those four years and get back up and go
- 19:48Speaker 6: to college, or you can be in the same spot
- 19:51Speaker 6: you were in four years ago and still be thinking like,
- 19:55Speaker 6: oh what if I would have went to college four
- 19:57Speaker 6: years ago, and then you're just like putting it off,
- 20:00Speaker 6: putting it off. But either way, those four years are
- 20:03Speaker 6: going to go by. Spend them the way that.
- 20:05Speaker 5: You want to.
- 20:05Speaker 6: So, like, if you you want to make that career change,
- 20:09Speaker 6: do it. It doesn't matter if it's if you're thirty
- 20:12Speaker 6: eight years old. Do it, because either you're going to
- 20:14Speaker 6: look back and say, man, I should have made that change,
- 20:17Speaker 6: or you're you're going to have a degree, an extra degree.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Like, it's never too late.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you look at some of the most successful companies
- 20:25Speaker 2: in the world and their CEO like didn't start it
- 20:28Speaker 2: until after their forties or didn't even like get it
- 20:30Speaker 2: off the ground until they were forty five years old.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Or they dropped out of high school. The richest people
- 20:38Speaker 4: in the world.
- 20:38Speaker 2: We're not we're not advocations here, do that. No, it's
- 20:42Speaker 2: never too late. It is never too late. Go leave
- 20:44Speaker 2: your dream, dream, go figure it out.
- 20:47Speaker 9: Tell my kids all the time, constant and never ending
- 20:49Speaker 9: self improvement. So we got if you want to do something,
- 20:52Speaker 9: do it. Cares what the age is, unless you want
- 20:56Speaker 9: to play like in the NFL.
- 20:58Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, if you to play in the NFL, then
- 21:01Speaker 6: you should just like yet that's more of like a
- 21:04Speaker 6: reality thing and you're not in reality.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Tough, all right, get some more, Dear Delandra.
- 21:12Speaker 6: Okay, we got one more that I'm gonna do because
- 21:14Speaker 6: I didn't really see any serious ones chat, so this
- 21:20Speaker 6: is the next one. And I think this one's kind
- 21:22Speaker 6: of a joke too, but either way, this might be good,
- 21:26Speaker 6: I don't know. So this guy's got some cat scratched fever.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Dear Delandra, my cat scratched up my sofa and my
- 21:32Speaker 6: child won't stop crying. How do I save my marriage?
- 21:36Speaker 6: Have you tried putting the child in rice? Like stop crying?
- 21:40Speaker 6: If we maybe hit the reset switch.
- 21:43Speaker 3: I don't know, child a little bit different.
- 21:47Speaker 2: I don't know if the rice technique is going to work,
- 21:49Speaker 2: But you got to figure out what's going to make
- 21:51Speaker 2: them happy.
- 21:52Speaker 5: In terms of the cat, I would say, get rid.
- 21:55Speaker 7: Of the cat.
- 21:56Speaker 5: I'm just kidding.
- 21:57Speaker 6: I'm not a fan of cat so like, I can't
- 22:00Speaker 6: relate to a cat scratching up my couch. Maybe get
- 22:05Speaker 6: the cat something else to scratch.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Don't they scratch the Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 5: Buy them something like that. Or put the cat in
- 22:11Speaker 5: like a room that's not going to scratch the sofa.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Like you know, sometimes people cage their dogs, not cage them,
- 22:18Speaker 6: but you know what I mean.
- 22:19Speaker 3: And also declaw the cat.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Don't come at me, Peter, but I mean the cat
- 22:27Speaker 2: and pussing boots. She didn't have claws right, she was.
- 22:30Speaker 2: You know, she's a really good thief because of back
- 22:33Speaker 2: and forth.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it's fine if you declaw the cat
- 22:36Speaker 6: and babies cry. Babies cry have maybe don't have a cat.
- 22:40Speaker 6: Don't have a cat, take the claws out, babies cry.
- 22:44Speaker 6: You made that decision, but saving your marriage, I don't know.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Maybe get a babysitter, take.
- 22:52Speaker 9: Some other underlying issues. If the baby crying and the
- 22:55Speaker 9: cat scratching is setting it.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Up right, So let's maybe just stix you only two issues.
- 23:00Speaker 6: You did you blame the cat in the and the baby.
- 23:04Speaker 6: So let's maybe get a babysitter. Let's go out to dinner,
- 23:07Speaker 6: and let's talk about what's really bothering.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Us because it's not the baby and it's not the cat.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Sit down, talk it out, and everything's gonna be okay.
- 23:17Speaker 4: So device is look in the mirror.
- 23:19Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, ask yourself, look intrinsically and ask yourself what
- 23:24Speaker 6: you did right?
- 23:26Speaker 5: Cat was an innocent bystander.
- 23:27Speaker 3: That's being a cat. Uh okay. Go to Pelican roof

- 25:56Speaker 5: here wondering what in mine?
- 26:02Speaker 1: From Flaars to Legends, Hester and Flynn breakdown l s
- 26:05Speaker 1: U Football like only champions can.
- 26:15Speaker 8: Change it by change all right.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Welcome back in OTB one oh four five ESPN Ben Rouge.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I don't know if we ever talked about this story
- 26:42Speaker 2: on air, but Najie Harris obviously talented running back Alabama Steelers.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Now with the Chargers, he had an accident on the
- 26:51Speaker 2: fourth of July with fireworks, oh wow, and one got
- 26:54Speaker 2: in his eye and he hasn't been able to really
- 26:56Speaker 2: open his eye since. But uh, apparently it's getting better
- 27:01Speaker 2: and he's back doing drills.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Fireworks can take some I'll just tell you this.
- 27:06Speaker 2: And maybe it's because, like I understood the position I've played,
- 27:10Speaker 2: there was so many things that I was not going
- 27:13Speaker 2: to do when I was playing in the NFL. Even
- 27:15Speaker 2: fireworks were one of those things. Like I was nervous
- 27:18Speaker 2: playing basketball. Hey, look we had like we had a
- 27:21Speaker 2: half court at the house. People used to come over.
- 27:24Speaker 2: We had a lot of fun doing it. But I
- 27:25Speaker 2: was always even nervous doing that. We've played a lot
- 27:28Speaker 2: of badminton. I was nervous doing that. Like I didn't
- 27:30Speaker 2: go skiing. I didn't do any of that stuff because
- 27:32Speaker 2: I was like, I am not about to get cut
- 27:34Speaker 2: because I'm trying to go down this slope right here
- 27:36Speaker 2: and have some fun.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Like fireworks, I'm out. I'm out.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I'm not getting released because I can't open my eye
- 27:43Speaker 2: because I got, you know, shot in the eye with
- 27:45Speaker 2: a firework.
- 27:47Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm trying to think well, I mean fireworks, never
- 27:50Speaker 9: like I know that they're famously Jason Pierre Paul had
- 27:54Speaker 9: a firework and you took a couple of fingers. Yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 9: like even that, So that was kind of made on
- 28:00Speaker 9: lot of people like.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Say, well it's kind of dangerous.
- 28:02Speaker 9: I've never like looked at fireworks and I should I
- 28:05Speaker 9: was like, man, I shouldn't do that.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Ye, it's not like you're doing a whole lot. You
- 28:09Speaker 3: gotta be.
- 28:09Speaker 9: I feel like you got to be doing some dumb
- 28:12Speaker 9: stuff with fireworks, like like you would do in high school,
- 28:17Speaker 9: but like as an NFL player, kind of wild. But man,
- 28:19Speaker 9: a lot of casualties out there from the firework game.
- 28:22Speaker 9: But yeah, I remember it like so like I was
- 28:26Speaker 9: in Green Bay and we were playing the Giants a
- 28:28Speaker 9: lot when Jason Pierre Paul was like doing his thing
- 28:31Speaker 9: and man, he did he lose two fingers. It's like, yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 9: like a couple fingers. Yeah, he would have to play
- 28:38Speaker 9: with that club. But man, what like before that happened,
- 28:40Speaker 9: even after it happened, he was great. Man, he was wow.
- 28:43Speaker 9: He went on a run, he was dominant, so he
- 28:47Speaker 9: got got just blew up and obviously spark something went
- 28:53Speaker 9: in his eye still can't open. It still can't open
- 28:57Speaker 9: it fully. No, it's like a pirate. That actually be
- 29:01Speaker 9: pretty cooling, right that perception.
- 29:04Speaker 7: I got the tackle a guy who's two hundred and
- 29:06Speaker 7: twenty pounds with an eyepatch.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yep, I wouldn't want to do it.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Actually, probably be pretty easy, just one him.
- 29:15Speaker 9: He would think you were like three yards away, but
- 29:17Speaker 9: you're like right next to him.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Would you like to tell your kids, like, dad, what
- 29:23Speaker 2: ends your NFL career? Black cat black I say, black cat,
- 29:28Speaker 2: black cat got me. Oh it's not good. So uh yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 2: he's back on the field. So we'll see what happens
- 29:34Speaker 2: with Harris after literally what over a month, We're talking
- 29:39Speaker 2: like five weeks of not being able to open his eyes.
- 29:45Speaker 3: It's glad it didn't happen to someone on the Saints,
- 29:46Speaker 3: right just what we know it does.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It does feel like something that certainly would happen to
- 29:52Speaker 2: the New Orleans Saints. Their next preseason game is going
- 29:54Speaker 2: to be on Sunday. It's going to be at home.
- 29:56Speaker 2: They take on the Jags. And if you want to go,
- 29:58Speaker 2: by the way, you can get take us for eight
- 30:00Speaker 2: bucks right now to go watch a little preseason football
- 30:04Speaker 2: and eight bucks. So the Saints are in that, they're
- 30:08Speaker 2: in that that part of training camp where they've had
- 30:10Speaker 2: some injuries in one position group, and that's what we
- 30:12Speaker 2: talked about. They're starting to work out certain positions because
- 30:16Speaker 2: of it, and you get into the preseason. I think
- 30:20Speaker 2: when you're trying to find out who your quarterback is
- 30:22Speaker 2: going to be and you're banged up on the offensive line,
- 30:26Speaker 2: that is a doomsday scenario because now you're like, do
- 30:29Speaker 2: we want the bomb squad? Do we want the Uber
- 30:32Speaker 2: driver we signed earlier this week to be in with
- 30:35Speaker 2: either one of our quarterbacks. It's a part of this
- 30:37Speaker 2: competition because you got to play it smart. Like you
- 30:41Speaker 2: lost Pinning in the first preseason game. You lost Will
- 30:44Speaker 2: Clapp for this season in the first preseason game. It's like, yeah,
- 30:47Speaker 2: but also we got this quarterback competition. We don't want
- 30:50Speaker 2: them running for their lives, even though Spencer kind of
- 30:52Speaker 2: was already. So it's like, how do we handle that
- 30:55Speaker 2: even though we've had injuries. Do we play our guys?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Do we keep the one offensive line in as long
- 31:00Speaker 2: as either one of those quarterbacks is in to give
- 31:02Speaker 2: them a fair shot.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 9: The people that suffer the most are the starters. Yeah,
- 31:07Speaker 9: they suffer the most because they're gonna have to play.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Now.
- 31:09Speaker 9: They're not going to play them like deep into a
- 31:10Speaker 9: game still, but they're gonna play them. They'll get an
- 31:12Speaker 9: extra drive, two drives, maybe three. So nobody's going to
- 31:17Speaker 9: be more pissed or disgruntled or just angry about it
- 31:21Speaker 9: than those veteran offensive linement because they're gonna have to Now,
- 31:24Speaker 9: there's gonna be some that they're not gonna do it.
- 31:26Speaker 9: But yeah, you get a lot of bomb squad action.
- 31:28Speaker 9: Like doesn't matter if it's just signed off. They're still
- 31:31Speaker 9: technically professional football players. You still have to fill the
- 31:35Speaker 9: team in preseason. You just got to get rid of it.
- 31:38Speaker 3: You gotta do it. Yeah, I mean you gotta get
- 31:39Speaker 3: rid of it. You have to do it.
- 31:41Speaker 2: But like I wonder how much more we're talking about
- 31:44Speaker 2: being in a right tackle, how much well they all
- 31:47Speaker 2: need to play a lot. How much is Bank's going
- 31:49Speaker 2: to be in at left tackle? Now, Caesar Ruiz, you
- 31:51Speaker 2: don't you need to stay in there bowl you get
- 31:53Speaker 2: some reps.
- 31:55Speaker 4: We're going to force you to be better.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Because I just don't think it's it's not going to
- 32:01Speaker 2: be fair, like if they go but you gotta be careful.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I understand that, but it's just not going to be
- 32:06Speaker 2: fair to whoever that second quarterback is because you're really
- 32:09Speaker 2: talking about threes now with the injuries that they've had,
- 32:11Speaker 2: you're not talking about twos. And so much of being
- 32:14Speaker 2: successful at the quarterback position is knowing that you've got
- 32:17Speaker 2: it taken care of. We talk about it all the time,
- 32:20Speaker 2: like I stole a year in the NFL just based
- 32:25Speaker 2: off pass protection, yep. And quarterbacks want to know certainly,
- 32:29Speaker 2: like Okay, I've got it taken care of. I can
- 32:32Speaker 2: go through my progressions, I can take my normal drop.
- 32:34Speaker 2: I can't drop my eyes. I don't have to drop
- 32:37Speaker 2: my eyes because I can keep them up because I
- 32:38Speaker 2: know we're going to have a clean pocket yep. And
- 32:40Speaker 2: like when you're starting the other way, when you're worrying
- 32:42Speaker 2: about it, I can't speak from experience. You probably can,
- 32:45Speaker 2: Like when you catch the ball and you're looking down
- 32:48Speaker 2: at the rush and not the coverage, that's where you
- 32:50Speaker 2: get into trouble.
- 32:51Speaker 9: It's not fair for them. And we're talking a lot
- 32:55Speaker 9: about this for the quarterbacks. For like the game scenario,
- 32:58Speaker 9: there's three game opportunities, but there's thirty practice opportunities and
- 33:02Speaker 9: where you're not in trouble like that, you're not in
- 33:04Speaker 9: threat of getting hit, and people get so wrapped up
- 33:06Speaker 9: like a starting quarterback positions not really one in the games.
- 33:10Speaker 9: It's one of the games plus right, plus the practices. Yeah,
- 33:15Speaker 9: so you have to do a lot of your valuation
- 33:17Speaker 9: off practices, right. You have to take like you look
- 33:21Speaker 9: at the body of work in the game, Like if
- 33:22Speaker 9: you have great stats in a preseason game, Okay, that's great.
- 33:25Speaker 9: You do what you're supposed to do, But like, why
- 33:26Speaker 9: did you have it? The was there defensive that they
- 33:30Speaker 9: have injuries on defense? Was it the threes? Was it
- 33:32Speaker 9: this and that? And it's kind of a right of
- 33:35Speaker 9: passage as a young quarterback to go into preseason game
- 33:39Speaker 9: and just get crushed like.
- 33:41Speaker 3: It, just get hit a lot.
- 33:42Speaker 9: I had to do it when my fourth preseason game,
- 33:46Speaker 9: my rookie year, We're playing the Titans, and Jeff Fisher
- 33:50Speaker 9: was a head coach who famously played instead of playing
- 33:52Speaker 9: his starters three quarters in the third game, he would
- 33:54Speaker 9: play him the fourth game, right, And we would only
- 33:56Speaker 9: play our starters for one drive in the fourth game
- 33:59Speaker 9: of the preseas, And so I'm sitting there in the
- 34:02Speaker 9: second third quarter with a bunch of undrafted free agents.
- 34:06Speaker 9: I got my guy, one of my favorite teammates ever,
- 34:08Speaker 9: printed g Camenia at right tackle, who is like a
- 34:11Speaker 9: fifth round pick rookie going against jun Curse with Kyle
- 34:16Speaker 9: Van Derbosch on the other side. Ye going against this
- 34:19Speaker 9: this tackle that was an undrafted free agent from Louisiana Tech.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Rookie, Like, yeah, getting destroyed. Yeah, right, passage, Yeah it is.
- 34:27Speaker 2: But also, y'all, starter was established, like Aaron was a starter.
- 34:33Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. So I think that's what makes
- 34:35Speaker 2: this one a little bit different. It is a rite
- 34:36Speaker 2: of passage. We've all been through the preseason games where
- 34:40Speaker 2: you're like, oh man, they got to they got a
- 34:42Speaker 2: name plate on the back of his jersey just in time, Yeah,
- 34:44Speaker 2: because they just signed.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Him right before the game. Like we've all been there.
- 34:47Speaker 2: But I'm just saying, like from the apart, like I
- 34:50Speaker 2: hope that people understand, like right now, they're battling injuries
- 34:53Speaker 2: and there's going to be some times where it doesn't
- 34:57Speaker 2: look clean for these quarterbacks, and how much you can
- 34:59Speaker 2: block that out and try to just go through who
- 35:01Speaker 2: you are as a quarterback.
- 35:02Speaker 3: But that seems easier said than done.
- 35:04Speaker 9: That's what I just, like I warned people before the
- 35:07Speaker 9: first game, like, don't watch this game and take it
- 35:11Speaker 9: like as the rule book. Don't take it as the bible.
- 35:14Speaker 9: Like this is not going to tell you the story
- 35:16Speaker 9: of based on stats in a preseason game, of who
- 35:18Speaker 9: it's going to be. Like if Tyler Schuck did great,
- 35:22Speaker 9: look great, did exactly what's supposed to do, it doesn't
- 35:24Speaker 9: mean he's going to be the starter.
- 35:26Speaker 3: It might it means he's still like competition is still alive.
- 35:29Speaker 9: Right, But on the flip side of that, if he
- 35:32Speaker 9: would have gone and gotten sacked five timestone, three interceptions
- 35:35Speaker 9: and look bad, don't judge it off of that as well,
- 35:38Speaker 9: Like there's a whole body of work that goes into
- 35:40Speaker 9: this and this. Now that injuries are starting to come
- 35:42Speaker 9: into play, it's even more so like that warning even
- 35:46Speaker 9: like is rings louder now because you just don't know
- 35:49Speaker 9: what you're gonna get, especially with injuries, and especially with
- 35:53Speaker 9: guys that just worked out on a Tuesday in New
- 35:56Speaker 9: Orleans is going to be playing this week in a
- 35:57Speaker 9: preseason game, all right.
- 36:00Speaker 2: It's going to be the thing that we watched the closest,
- 36:02Speaker 2: at least here on this show. I know a lot
- 36:04Speaker 2: of people or maybe I hustling other positions, but for me,
- 36:08Speaker 2: something we thought was the strength was a weakness in
- 36:10Speaker 2: the first preseason game. Was that just because it was
- 36:13Speaker 2: the first preseason game the Chargers played in the Hall of.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Fame game, maybe they were a little bit more ready
- 36:18Speaker 3: to go. We'll find out.
- 36:19Speaker 2: There's some Jimmies and Joe's on that Jags defensive line
- 36:22Speaker 2: as well. It's going to be the thing that I
- 36:24Speaker 2: watch the closest, and of course, depending on how they
- 36:26Speaker 2: play might tell the story and how the quarterback play.
- 36:29Speaker 2: We'll have that for you, certainly on Monday's show Not Good.
- 36:34Speaker 4: We watched the clip yesterday.
- 36:37Speaker 9: Who was the lineman that gave us but the running
- 36:41Speaker 9: back and the was it Kendred? Yeah, and Stone is
- 36:45Speaker 9: an incredible plow linebacker, an incredibly athletic, powerful pass protection punch.
- 36:52Speaker 9: It looked like Joseph Die like back in the day,
- 36:55Speaker 9: Like Joseph I was like, what's the Bruce Lee the
- 36:57Speaker 9: six inch point one inch punch?
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever it was, he had got that. He has
- 37:00Speaker 3: that like he's got.
- 37:01Speaker 9: That power that punch, like that he came off a
- 37:03Speaker 9: playfake and like off of like a one and a
- 37:06Speaker 9: half step off the playfake was able to punch the
- 37:08Speaker 9: linebacker right in the mouth and.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Everybody else looked really good. Though the center came.
- 37:12Speaker 9: Back, pushed his uh, pushed his guy to the guard
- 37:15Speaker 9: and came back and cracked the guy that Kendred just said,
- 37:17Speaker 9: that guy had a bad day that play. But cesar
- 37:21Speaker 9: Rees just made a bad step, read the defense completely wrong,
- 37:25Speaker 9: and it was just the one guy, one guy.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Now it's one guy.
- 37:28Speaker 9: It's always just one guy, right, it's just and it's
- 37:30Speaker 9: a different name to that one guy. But on a
- 37:33Speaker 9: certain play there was a lot to be positive about
- 37:35Speaker 9: on raass protection. Just one mental error you got. You
- 37:39Speaker 9: got screwed up pre snap by the the alignment of
- 37:41Speaker 9: the defensive line. They lined three defensive linemen up on
- 37:44Speaker 9: the left side, one defensive linman on the right and
- 37:46Speaker 9: then so at that point you start thinking you just
- 37:48Speaker 9: didn't think fast enough.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Yeah, with the wrong direction. You do that in the NFL,
- 37:52Speaker 3: you get beat. That's what happened.
- 37:53Speaker 2: You can't have that from a veteran player, certainly when
- 37:55Speaker 2: you're running back who hasn't played it time, like I said,
- 37:57Speaker 2: I I saw the flashes. I get it at the
- 38:00Speaker 2: injury Miller stuff, I get why you get a name
- 38:02Speaker 2: or with it. And even though there's been the injuries
- 38:04Speaker 2: and the back and forth with Dennis Allen and some inconsistencies,
- 38:08Speaker 2: I get the flashes.
- 38:08Speaker 3: And that was certainly a flash for him.
- 38:10Speaker 9: That his block right there. Yeah, I looked at it.
- 38:13Speaker 9: You showed me that film. I watched it. I was like, Okay,
- 38:16Speaker 9: that guy's got some juice to it in past protection,
- 38:19Speaker 9: knew his assignment, new his role, came off of playfake
- 38:22Speaker 9: and went right to the guy that was blitzing.
- 38:24Speaker 4: And it was not an.
- 38:25Speaker 9: Easy look to to diagnose pre staff wasn't a good
- 38:29Speaker 9: easy defensive front. But he did it like he came
- 38:31Speaker 9: off of play fake, read it, diagnosed the blitz, knew
- 38:35Speaker 9: who his guy was, and hit him in the mouth.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Yeah, stoned him right right there at the line.
- 38:39Speaker 2: So Caesar, let's go all right, we'll wrap it up
- 38:42Speaker 2: like we do every single day.

- 41:15Speaker 3: End up being the best unproven. I guess news starter. Yeah,
- 41:19Speaker 3: I know Arch Manning I probably will be. It's probably
- 41:23Speaker 3: the answer. Probably Arch.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Not to Texas because they're returning a starter.
- 41:31Speaker 2: The bench just the bump theme just country. Is there
- 41:34Speaker 2: a more specific theme. It's just country. It's just just
- 41:37Speaker 2: country country.
- 41:39Speaker 3: I don't know. I forget what song we were singing
- 41:41Speaker 3: before the show. I was like, let's go country to Devil.
- 41:44Speaker 3: That's what we did it. It's been a while.
- 41:46Speaker 9: Morgan Walling is really uh, kind of topped the list
- 41:50Speaker 9: for me.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Today.
- 41:51Speaker 9: We said it, we got it in our heads. Now
- 41:52Speaker 9: it's gonna be a Morgan Walling type of day for us,
- 41:54Speaker 9: probably the office, it's gonna be having it on. You've
- 42:00Speaker 9: been three times, three three shows.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Morgan's for sure for sure, it's been three. The
- 42:06Speaker 3: one to Mobile was awesome. I told you.
- 42:08Speaker 2: I hit the fair grounds there outside late October I
- 42:11Speaker 2: think it was, and like thirty thousand people were there.
- 42:14Speaker 3: Anybody cool on the walk out?
- 42:17Speaker 2: I think that's before he did the walkout. Yah, before
- 42:20Speaker 2: he did the walk those years ago. I mean he
- 42:22Speaker 2: was big already.
- 42:23Speaker 3: But yeah, I went to the one party opened up
- 42:25Speaker 3: for him and.
- 42:28Speaker 2: That's like they the flower shops song had just come out,
- 42:31Speaker 2: like like with Ernest.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Like just come out. Yeah.
- 42:34Speaker 9: Uh, the at the end of my Boots Music Festival
- 42:37Speaker 9: and this past Mangle.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Shores, he walked out by himself.
- 42:41Speaker 9: So I was a little disappointed then because it was
- 42:43Speaker 9: definitely a thing by that point.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Yeah, he's going to get to walk out with you
- 42:46Speaker 3: in Gulf Shores. That's not rhetorical. Just ask him a question.
- 42:48Speaker 3: He walked out. He was in San Francisco recently walked
- 42:50Speaker 3: out with Barry Bonds.
- 42:51Speaker 7: I can only I can only think of one in
- 42:53Speaker 7: Gulf Shores, and it's technically Fully Julio Jones went to
- 42:56Speaker 7: Fully High School.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Yeah he did. That's it he did. I mean, fairly
- 43:00Speaker 3: not that far. They could have got v R seventeen both,
- 43:04Speaker 3: you could.
- 43:04Speaker 4: It's just Alabama.
- 43:05Speaker 9: You mean you could get Nick Saban walk out with you.
- 43:09Speaker 9: I mean, and that's not overstated, it's not reaching. He
- 43:12Speaker 9: gets the biggest and the best. He had Peyton Manning
- 43:14Speaker 9: dress of him, his college uniform.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Goodness six he did.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Saving put on your Alabama coaching gear walk out, asked
- 43:23Speaker 3: the bench.
- 43:24Speaker 2: AJ mccanerron said only UGA and LSU have rosters that
- 43:27Speaker 2: can beat Bama. But he's only worried about LSU because
- 43:31Speaker 2: of NUS and how LSU is better at Bama. Have
- 43:34Speaker 2: you ever heard anyone else talk how LSU is better
- 43:37Speaker 2: in t Town.
- 43:38Speaker 3: I think they are better.
- 43:39Speaker 7: I think they one under percent. I don't think there's
- 43:40Speaker 7: even a question.
- 43:41Speaker 2: They beat him in nineteen there and then a team
- 43:44Speaker 2: that really honestly had no business being competitive through the
- 43:47Speaker 2: ball in the end zone with a chance, if it's called,
- 43:51Speaker 2: they beat Alabama like TDP almost scored, he got caught
- 43:53Speaker 2: from behind.
- 43:54Speaker 3: They had a chance.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Maxwed a little bit too high to Besh. Yeah, yes, yeah,
- 44:01Speaker 2: so no for I never lost air, did you? I
- 44:05Speaker 2: never lost the Baila me neither.
- 44:06Speaker 7: There's a reason LSU goes through the Natty and odd years.
- 44:09Speaker 7: Did you play out Alabama? Seven nineteen?
- 44:15Speaker 3: He's right?
- 44:16Speaker 4: Bring up, well, the games are in New Orleans.
- 44:19Speaker 12: That's why uh games tag As the bench tell Greg
- 44:27Speaker 12: McRoy to stop texting Ty Simpson, I don't know what that.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Means coming for you, McRoy?
- 44:32Speaker 3: What's coming for your number one spot? Broh?
- 44:34Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 44:34Speaker 3: Bah uh.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Nookie points out, we have ten wins in Tiger Stadium
- 44:47Speaker 2: versus Alabama since nineteen sixty.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I know we beat him twice my time at home.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Now that kid me right, you can't be right.
- 45:01Speaker 7: MAYBEIL said, what if brings to this year's game, that
- 45:08Speaker 7: would be great.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Our guy, our guy, Bama Gump is always great, says
- 45:12Speaker 2: I never lost to Bama.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Blah blah blah blah, saying, damn, it's just fact. The
- 45:19Speaker 3: two thousand and five Alabama team.
- 45:21Speaker 2: If I'm gonna talk nice about him because my I
- 45:23Speaker 2: got room and Harper was on that team, Demiico Ran
- 45:26Speaker 2: was on that team. Alabama fans, y'all got to give
- 45:28Speaker 2: love to that team. Y'all y'all hate on them during
- 45:30Speaker 2: that time. That was a damn good football team. They
- 45:32Speaker 2: were undefeated. We played them in November. We beat them
- 45:34Speaker 2: in overtime in t Town. But they were good.
- 45:37Speaker 9: It's a good football team.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Yeah, Larron Landry remember almost that. Yeah, he was almost
- 45:47Speaker 2: not with us anymore. Dwayne bow caught a touchdown. If
- 45:51Speaker 2: I'm not mistaken in the end zone overtime, it's called
- 45:53Speaker 2: Jimbo who remember.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Tom later off the bench.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Speaking of remembering, remember there is some activity there in
- 46:01Speaker 2: the Gulf of America disturbance, So you need to make
