- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello everybody, and welcome to Honey Badger Radio. My name
- 0:02Speaker 1: is Brian with Allison and this is the latest maintaining frame,
- 0:06Speaker 1: which is number one hundred and forty one. Do girls
- 0:08Speaker 1: need to learn not everything is for them? Where we're
- 0:12Speaker 1: gonna be talking about this semi viral Reddit post that
- 0:18Speaker 1: started a conversation that probably didn't even need to happen. No,
- 0:24Speaker 1: but because of the world we now live in and
- 0:27Speaker 1: the way that we think of, you know, the relationship
- 0:31Speaker 1: between men and women, husbands and wives, fathers and daughters,
- 0:37Speaker 1: you know, this has become a conversation and I think
- 0:41Speaker 1: it's a I think it's a good opportunity to talk
- 0:45Speaker 1: about something that is, you know, relevant, because everyone else
- 0:49Speaker 1: is talking about it. So I'm glad this one got
- 0:51Speaker 1: picked because I noticed it was doing the rounds and
- 0:54Speaker 1: everybody's got a take. But I don't think that it's
- 0:57Speaker 1: gonna be the take that we're gonna have, so at
- 1:01Speaker 1: least not not not. Yeah, I think we're gonna have
- 1:04Speaker 1: a unique perspective on it. So but before we get
- 1:08Speaker 1: into it, maybe you should do the things.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, actually, let's do a little bit of technical stuff.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Is my camera just really crapping out or something.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It doesn't look bad on the stream. I think that
- 1:28Speaker 1: the like on so in video Ninja, they're usually like
- 1:32Speaker 1: my preview is usually at a lower quality, but when
- 1:34Speaker 1: I look at the stream, it doesn't look bad. Hair,
- 1:38Speaker 1: I'll just double check it just to make sure.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I mean, because we're just dealing with
- 1:43Speaker 2: like a bunch of weather related stuff.
- 1:46Speaker 3: You know, Yeah, I noticed that gets really hot.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And yeah, you're you're your connection is a little spotty,
- 1:54Speaker 1: like it's showing red bars. So we'll see if that
- 1:57Speaker 1: has an effect.
- 1:58Speaker 2: But so guys, just I might drop, or other things
- 2:01Speaker 2: might happen, or the cat might libble the cords and
- 2:06Speaker 2: we'll be flying backwards. But anyway, so if you would
- 2:08Speaker 2: like to support the show, you can do so at
- 2:11Speaker 2: feed the Badger dot com slash support. And if you'd
- 2:13Speaker 2: like to send a message to us throughout just know
- 2:16Speaker 2: or even after the show, if you find something particularly edifying,
- 2:21Speaker 2: then you can do so at feed the Badger dot
- 2:22Speaker 2: com slash just the tip.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yeah, like you suddenly got all like waste extreme close
- 2:30Speaker 1: up for us.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I don't know see what's going on here? An uh okay, let.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Me come on what are you doing there?
- 2:45Speaker 2: All right?
- 2:46Speaker 1: That was I don't know the cat to uh intimate
- 2:52Speaker 1: for this program.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah, giving people ideas. No, you cat just walked across
- 3:01Speaker 2: the camera and then zoom. I don't know what she did.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I have no idea what she did, but she did something. Okay,
- 3:11Speaker 2: So anyway, feed the Badger dot com slash just the
- 3:14Speaker 2: tip if you want to send us a tip and
- 3:15Speaker 2: a message with that tip, and feed the Badger dot
- 3:17Speaker 2: com slash support if you want to support the show.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Okay, let's get into it. Let's have this discussion, all right.
- 3:23Speaker 1: So let's take a look at the article. Well, this
- 3:27Speaker 1: is not an article, it's an ex post, but it's
- 3:31Speaker 1: actually screenshots from a am I the Asshole? Reddit post? So,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and am I the asshole? Or I don't know a
- 3:41Speaker 1: lot about it because I'm not on Reddit because I
- 3:43Speaker 1: value my mental health. It is a place where people
- 3:47Speaker 1: will share an anecdote and their reaction to some experience
- 3:52Speaker 1: and they're sort of conflicted on whether or not it
- 3:55Speaker 1: was a good or bad thing that they did. So
- 3:57Speaker 1: they ask Reddit, of all places, am I the asshole?
- 4:03Speaker 1: And I guess you know some some there there are winners,
- 4:07Speaker 1: and there are losers, But okay, you.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Got rebbit is sort of like asking a Ouiji board.
- 4:13Speaker 3: You know, honestly, yees bet you might.
- 4:17Speaker 2: You might end up calling the souls of the damned
- 4:21Speaker 2: into your life.
- 4:23Speaker 3: All right, listen, all right.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So this one is shared by a woman on Reddit,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and she this is a woman that's made the post
- 4:33Speaker 1: that's being shared by someone named ask Aubrey. I don't
- 4:36Speaker 1: know who that is. I might look into that while
- 4:38Speaker 1: we're talking. And uh so, she says, am I the
- 4:42Speaker 1: asshole for insisting my daughter should be allowed to go
- 4:45Speaker 1: on the guy's only family trip. I have two kids,
- 4:51Speaker 1: John who is thirteen, and Kelsey, who is eleven. My daughter, Kelsey,
- 4:56Speaker 1: has always been a tomboy and prefers hanging out with
- 4:59Speaker 1: her older and my husband. He goes fishing and watches
- 5:03Speaker 1: slash plays sports with them. Meanwhile, I enjoy gardening and baking. Wow,
- 5:09Speaker 1: that you sound like a handmade of the patriarchy. By
- 5:11Speaker 1: the way, those are very woman coded things. You're not
- 5:14Speaker 1: supposed to like those things.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Just to get in here for a second, Egregious Charles's
- 5:19Speaker 2: our twitch stream as fucked.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Let me see if the restream what the restream says,
- 5:24Speaker 1: so the restream is showing that it's fine, so it
- 5:27Speaker 1: might be an issue with Twitch.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe Twitch, sorry, guys can't do it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yeah if I'm sorry about that. I don't know what. Like,
- 5:34Speaker 1: I'm looking at our restream and it's showing that it's going.
- 5:37Speaker 1: So maybe Twitch got to us. I don't know, so
- 5:42Speaker 1: all right anyway, No, no, it.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Wasn't Simon that because Simon is a ginger cat, and
- 5:47Speaker 2: ginger cats are agents of chaos.
- 5:49Speaker 3: It wasn't Simon that did it. It was Mia.
- 5:51Speaker 2: It was the Void cat, who were also agents of chaos. Actually,
- 5:55Speaker 2: all cats are agents of chaos, really, yes, they are,
- 5:59Speaker 2: just that gingers tend to be more gingery about it. Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 2: so this is yeah, this and then this this. This
- 6:10Speaker 2: is a post that spawned a thousand feminist responses.
- 6:16Speaker 3: M M, because how dare right? Yeah yeah, some of
- 6:20Speaker 3: the comments are just.
- 6:23Speaker 2: They're sort of depressing, shall we say?
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yeah, well, of course of course these I'm not done yet.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I'm still reading this first page. We could like do
- 6:33Speaker 1: it a page at a time and throw a couple
- 6:35Speaker 1: of little comments in and they're like, okay, so yeah,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I enjoy gardening and baking. Biggie to me, okay, I
- 6:43Speaker 1: enjoy gardening and baking. No biggie to me. I love
- 6:46Speaker 1: their bond and I'm happy she's close with her brother
- 6:49Speaker 1: and dad. My husband's only sister is a single mom
- 6:53Speaker 1: who has recently moved to our state with her son, Michael,
- 6:56Speaker 1: who is twelve. My husband has been talking about planning
- 7:00Speaker 1: a guy's trip this summer with him, so like this.
- 7:03Speaker 1: This is recent, so the summer is still months in
- 7:06Speaker 1: the future. They haven't done this yet, okay, with him,
- 7:10Speaker 1: John and Michael. While my husband was discussing with John,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I could see Kelsey looking visibly sad because she wasn't
- 7:17Speaker 1: included all right next page later, I told my husband
- 7:25Speaker 1: that Kelsey should go too, and that there's no reason
- 7:28Speaker 1: to exclude her. He said he just wants some guy
- 7:32Speaker 1: time with his son and nephew and that men need
- 7:35Speaker 1: to have their time away from women, which she's putting
- 7:38Speaker 1: in quotes their time away from women. I took offense
- 7:42Speaker 1: to that comment, which led to an argument between us.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I told him that Kelsey needs to go otherwise I
- 7:48Speaker 1: won't approve of money being taken out of our family
- 7:50Speaker 1: vacation budget to exclude some of our family. My sister
- 7:54Speaker 1: in law texted me saying, I'm being controlling and rooting
- 7:57Speaker 1: a good experience for the boys by being I told her,
- 8:01Speaker 1: I'm not being petty. I just want my kid. I
- 8:04Speaker 1: don't want my kid feeling left out. Am I the asshole?
- 8:07Speaker 3: Yes?
- 8:10Speaker 2: And I think that she's she's probably if this is true,
- 8:12Speaker 2: because the thing is that guys, this is a reddit.
- 8:15Speaker 2: This could just be sheer rage babe. But if this
- 8:18Speaker 2: is true, presuming that it's true and people are responding
- 8:21Speaker 2: to it as if it is, I would suspect that
- 8:25Speaker 2: she's not okay with the fact that her daughter has
- 8:28Speaker 2: a closer relationship with the father. I think that this
- 8:33Speaker 2: might act a darker interpretation. A darker interpretation is that
- 8:39Speaker 2: she's actually trying to ruin the relationship or she's trying
- 8:42Speaker 2: to develop a greater sense of closeness by championing her
- 8:47Speaker 2: daughter in a situation where you know, yes, they should
- 8:52Speaker 2: be able, Like he's probably concerned about his nephew not
- 8:56Speaker 2: having a male role model more than anything. So he's
- 8:59Speaker 2: trying to have his nephew who doesn't have a father,
- 9:02Speaker 2: and so he's he's trying to create a situation where
- 9:06Speaker 2: the nephew can have some some you know, intimacy with
- 9:09Speaker 2: a not intimacy, but you know, like emotional closeness.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Male figures.
- 9:17Speaker 3: And not mediated through a woman.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly, well, not mediated through a woman or a.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Girl right there where get in their time away from
- 9:29Speaker 1: women that they needed time women.
- 9:33Speaker 3: But the thing is that well, this is and this
- 9:37Speaker 3: is part of the problem is that there's a lot.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Of people who don't think that this is acceptable, right,
- 9:41Speaker 2: But I think what I'm trying to get at is
- 9:43Speaker 2: that the there's a possibility that the mother isn't okay
- 9:48Speaker 2: with her daughter being with her father, having a closer
- 9:51Speaker 2: relationship with her father. In fact, I would say the
- 9:53Speaker 2: fact that she mentioned it would incline me to that interpretation.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And this is a way of sort of of souring
- 10:00Speaker 2: that relationship while trying to make the girl come closer
- 10:06Speaker 2: to her by becoming her champion as a victim and
- 10:10Speaker 2: you know, teaching the girl, the daughter to be a
- 10:14Speaker 2: victim essentially, instead of recognizing the worth of men and
- 10:22Speaker 2: boys having time together without the oversight of women, where
- 10:27Speaker 2: they can talk about things that are or you know,
- 10:30Speaker 2: do things in the way that men and boys do
- 10:32Speaker 2: or talk about things that might be uncomfortable to talk
- 10:35Speaker 2: about in front of women and girls. Instead of recognizing that,
- 10:40Speaker 2: she is using this as an opportunity to, you know,
- 10:46Speaker 2: foist herself and forward in her daughter, in the relationship
- 10:51Speaker 2: with the daughter. So it could be a situation where
- 10:53Speaker 2: she is actually jealous of the father and this is
- 10:56Speaker 2: a means by which she's sort of souring that relationship
- 10:59Speaker 2: and attempting to create a stronger relationship with her daughter,
- 11:03Speaker 2: in which case, you know, there's probably no way that
- 11:06Speaker 2: you could argue to her that this is a bad
- 11:08Speaker 2: thing to do, because she knows, she probably knows on
- 11:12Speaker 2: some level it's a bad thing to do, and she's
- 11:14Speaker 2: going to be using you condemning her to defend herself
- 11:18Speaker 2: to herself in a sense. You know, it's like when
- 11:21Speaker 2: you argue with someone who has diametrically opposed philosophy, and
- 11:25Speaker 2: often they'll use it.
- 11:26Speaker 3: They'll use evidence.
- 11:27Speaker 2: You bring up and arguments you bring up to actually
- 11:30Speaker 2: strengthen their belief in what they believe in. Sort of
- 11:34Speaker 2: the same dynamic here. So it's like, but it all
- 11:37Speaker 2: hinges on one thing. Is it legitimate for men to
- 11:42Speaker 2: have space away from women?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yes, yes, you know, and the fact that this woman
- 11:52Speaker 2: is being called out by another woman would even even
- 11:56Speaker 2: get more create I don't say that, it's like, that's
- 11:59Speaker 2: like saying absolutely it's because another woman is calling her out.
- 12:03Speaker 2: But I would honestly say that because the why the
- 12:09Speaker 2: the mother of the nephew is also calling this woman out,
- 12:13Speaker 2: It even lends even more credence.
- 12:15Speaker 3: To the idea that this is.
- 12:17Speaker 2: This is she's picking up on something with her sister
- 12:20Speaker 2: in law, you know what I mean, because she's not
- 12:23Speaker 2: actually going in line with the sisterhood. But then again,
- 12:26Speaker 2: she's she may also really want her son to have
- 12:28Speaker 2: something like this, which means that she understands that it's
- 12:32Speaker 2: it's necessary in her son's life to have relationships with
- 12:35Speaker 2: men that aren't mediated by women.
- 12:37Speaker 3: You know, But I don't know, it's it's the.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Final conclusion is, yes, she's the asshole. It sounds like, yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 2: sure her her daughter's sad, okay, But sadness is a
- 12:50Speaker 2: part of life, you see what I'm saying. It's like
- 12:54Speaker 2: you go and you explain it.
- 12:55Speaker 3: To your daughter, explain to.
- 13:00Speaker 1: You.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Always get what you want, and sometimes you have to
- 13:02Speaker 2: step aside so somebody else can get what they need.
- 13:05Speaker 3: And maybe need more than you do.
- 13:08Speaker 2: That the nephew doesn't have any man in his life, right,
- 13:11Speaker 2: so presumably so instead of actually teaching her daughter that lesson,
- 13:18Speaker 2: the mother goes on a crusade. And well, the lesson
- 13:22Speaker 2: that she's teaching her daughter is to be a victim,
- 13:25Speaker 2: to demand access to men's spaces at all times, and
- 13:28Speaker 2: if you don't get it, then they are pressing you
- 13:30Speaker 2: or they are somehow harming you, rather than just recognizing
- 13:34Speaker 2: that sometimes you just sometimes people need to need to
- 13:38Speaker 2: develop relationships that don't involve you, and it doesn't mean
- 13:42Speaker 2: they care about you less. It's just it's just sometimes
- 13:47Speaker 2: people need space, you know. And instead of learning that,
- 13:52Speaker 2: she is learning to play the victim in order to
- 13:55Speaker 2: get what she wants, if she even wanted it. I mean,
- 13:58Speaker 2: she could have just felt sad.
- 14:00Speaker 3: But been like, yeah, okay, I understand, you know what
- 14:02Speaker 3: I mean.
- 14:03Speaker 2: The daughter could have just there really isn't a lot
- 14:06Speaker 2: of information or is it continues?
- 14:09Speaker 3: Are we in the middle of it, or is there more?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Is that it?
- 14:13Speaker 1: Well, first of all, let me just say a couple
- 14:16Speaker 1: of things regarding space. One, your camera's super zoomed in,
- 14:20Speaker 1: so they're there again, So I don't know how that happened.
- 14:23Speaker 1: The other thing is that I'm noticing that there's a
- 14:25Speaker 1: bit of a gap in time from when I talk
- 14:28Speaker 1: and when you hear it. So I'm gonna try and
- 14:30Speaker 1: like take that into account that you you're you're lagging
- 14:34Speaker 1: a bit behind what I say. So that's why we're
- 14:37Speaker 1: talking over each other a little. So we're gonna try
- 14:39Speaker 1: and like, you know, when you're done, what a pause
- 14:43Speaker 1: and then I can say something. But with regards is
- 14:46Speaker 1: it better for lag? Uh? Yeah, I mean if you
- 14:50Speaker 1: I don't know. I can't tell. It just seems like
- 14:52Speaker 1: when I'm done talking, there's a bit of a pause
- 14:54Speaker 1: before you respond, and when I like start talking. I
- 14:58Speaker 1: think that's why you were talking over me, because you
- 15:00Speaker 1: didn't know you were talking over me because there was
- 15:03Speaker 1: there was a gap, there was a little bit of
- 15:05Speaker 1: a gap.
- 15:05Speaker 3: So I think I think, I think this might reduce
- 15:11Speaker 3: the lag.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I don't know, does it, I don't I can't tell.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm saying that it's your when it's when you're hearing
- 15:17Speaker 1: what I say. So maybe maybe it's fixed now. I
- 15:20Speaker 1: don't know, So let me just take a look and
- 15:22Speaker 1: see it. The connection. Yeah, anyway, so that all that aside.
- 15:28Speaker 1: This is the end of the post. I did get
- 15:33Speaker 1: a super chat I wanted to read really quick, and
- 15:36Speaker 1: I thought, maybe you should do the things regarding super
- 15:38Speaker 1: chowlis and whatnot after. So let me read that. Now,
- 15:41Speaker 1: Zarax gives us five dollars and says, post the Nora
- 15:43Speaker 1: Vincent ABC interview in the thread case closed and that
- 15:49Speaker 1: would be a bad idea to share, and okay, so
- 15:52Speaker 1: now go ahead and do the things and then I
- 15:55Speaker 1: will give my take on this.
- 15:59Speaker 3: So okay, So you mean do the cause.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Like the well, did you do the things already?
- 16:07Speaker 2: Oh?
- 16:07Speaker 1: I seem to have OKAYO.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Are like hugely distracted.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Okay, No, I'm just like looking at other things that
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to make sure that the stream doesn't collapse
- 16:15Speaker 1: on itself. So for whatever reason the stream, I think
- 16:21Speaker 1: it's the weather. So okay. So here's what I was
- 16:24Speaker 1: thinking about. And it's really it's really funny looking at
- 16:26Speaker 1: these replies in the chat here. So first of all,
- 16:31Speaker 1: I think it's really funny that the reasonable one is
- 16:35Speaker 1: the single mom in this in this scenario, that's like,
- 16:39Speaker 1: maybe it's good that my son and my nephew is
- 16:45Speaker 1: spending time with my brother in law or whatever, you know,
- 16:50Speaker 1: or my brother. I don't know. I guess it's brother
- 16:53Speaker 1: and they're like doing guys stuff together over there, and
- 16:57Speaker 1: you know, maybe that's a good idea. Maybe we shouldn't
- 16:59Speaker 1: be like infringing on that. And that's kind of interesting
- 17:03Speaker 1: because that's that seems a little bit. You would think
- 17:06Speaker 1: that the mother who's married and has a kid that
- 17:09Speaker 1: has two parents and is you know, you would think
- 17:12Speaker 1: that she would be sympathetic to that. But maybe it
- 17:17Speaker 1: is the fact that it's her sister in law. I
- 17:21Speaker 1: don't know. Maybe there might there might be something there
- 17:23Speaker 1: as well. But but what I'll say about about the
- 17:26Speaker 1: guy's trip thing is it's one hundred percent true that
- 17:29Speaker 1: men need their own spaces. And every all the time,
- 17:32Speaker 1: men's spaces are disappearing more and more and more. And
- 17:35Speaker 1: one of the first places that it does is in
- 17:39Speaker 1: absent fathers, which are not absent fathers, but fathers that
- 17:42Speaker 1: are forced out or pushed out or excluded or isolated
- 17:46Speaker 1: from their children. So that's the first space that that
- 17:51Speaker 1: a young man learns about. That's four men, is his
- 17:54Speaker 1: relationship to his dad, and then his brothers, if he
- 17:57Speaker 1: has any and then from there there's like community, his
- 18:00Speaker 1: friend groups, et cetera. It doesn't mean girls can't be
- 18:02Speaker 1: in the friend group, but if boys almost are completely
- 18:07Speaker 1: unable to do it, Like there's all of these these
- 18:10Speaker 1: external forces usually like women and feminists and shit like that,
- 18:15Speaker 1: that they interfere with men spending time together. I mean
- 18:19Speaker 1: the boys. Look, look, the boy Scouts are gone, Like
- 18:23Speaker 1: they changed the name. Now it's like the the Scouts.
- 18:26Speaker 1: They basically gender neutral, made it gender neutral, and essentially
- 18:30Speaker 1: it's not for boys anymore. The boy There used to
- 18:33Speaker 1: be something called the Boys Club in like you know, cities,
- 18:36Speaker 1: was kind of a public thing. It's gone. There is
- 18:39Speaker 1: no boy's club. Then it was like the Boys and
- 18:41Speaker 1: Girls Club. I think now it's it's it either doesn't
- 18:43Speaker 1: exist at all or it's completely like you know, like ungendered,
- 18:49Speaker 1: like completely like like made neutral. And then there was
- 18:54Speaker 1: like the when but there is still a Girls Scouts, right,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and so we we the girls they can go to
- 19:00Speaker 1: the Scouts or they can go to the Girl Scouts.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Boys can only go to the Scouts. So they have
- 19:06Speaker 1: to share space at all of these places where there
- 19:08Speaker 1: was like male mentorship and male camaraderie and like fellowship,
- 19:12Speaker 1: they've all been disintegrated. Even online, everything gets invaded. So
- 19:18Speaker 1: when a man says I think it probably is a
- 19:20Speaker 1: good idea for me and my nephew and my son
- 19:24Speaker 1: to do something together, I mean, like there is there
- 19:28Speaker 1: is absolute president for that. The other thing too, that
- 19:31Speaker 1: I think is why she's the asshole, is that a wife,
- 19:35Speaker 1: she should stand with her husband, but she is choosing
- 19:39Speaker 1: not to. Like, what is that like if she said,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I want to take my daughter on a girl's night
- 19:46Speaker 1: whatever or a girl's trip and we're gonna do something
- 19:49Speaker 1: whatever it is, doesn't matter. Do you think her husband
- 19:51Speaker 1: would be like opposed to that? What do you think
- 19:55Speaker 1: he would say, go have fun? Right?
- 19:57Speaker 3: Yes, he'd say go have fun.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yeah, even if the sun wanted to go for whatever reason,
- 20:03Speaker 1: he would say, no, son, let them have that, right, Like, yeah,
- 20:06Speaker 1: this is this is girls stuff.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Yeah exactly.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Well, I mean, and I actually got into it with
- 20:12Speaker 2: a commentator later on.
- 20:14Speaker 3: I don't know if you want to look at that.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Was it in here with a report?
- 20:19Speaker 3: It was actually.
- 20:22Speaker 1: A reply to the repost.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Actually, I think we should probably just read a little
- 20:26Speaker 2: bit more before we get into that.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I read the whole thing.
- 20:29Speaker 3: No, but there's there's additional because she adds more.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Really where yep, keep going just this one? Yeah, oh,
- 20:36Speaker 1: this one? Okay, okay, yeh, Twitter, there is more. I'm sorry, Twitter,
- 20:40Speaker 1: all right, so you can read some of the details
- 20:43Speaker 1: if you go through my post history. Essentially, my husband
- 20:47Speaker 1: has decided he wants to have a guy's only trip
- 20:49Speaker 1: this summer with my son thirteen male, and my nephew,
- 20:52Speaker 1: twelve male. My daughter, eleven female, is a tomboy who
- 20:56Speaker 1: is into sports and fishing and extremely close with her
- 20:59Speaker 1: brother and dad, and the three of them often spent
- 21:02Speaker 1: a lot of time together. My husband and I discussed this,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and I insisted my daughter be included, but he mentioned
- 21:08Speaker 1: that he really wants this time with his son and
- 21:10Speaker 1: nephew without any women present. I eventually gave in on
- 21:14Speaker 1: the boy's only trip, but warned him that our daughter
- 21:17Speaker 1: would be hurt and it was up to him entirely
- 21:19Speaker 1: to fix it. He promised me that he would. Ever
- 21:22Speaker 1: since my husband told her she couldn't go, my daughter's
- 21:26Speaker 1: behavior has changed. She no longer hangs out with her
- 21:29Speaker 1: brother playing video games, and she has been extremely distant
- 21:32Speaker 1: with my husband. Just this past week, during the Super Bowl.
- 21:35Speaker 1: While my son and husband were watching the game, my
- 21:38Speaker 1: daughter was tucked away in her room watching the Super
- 21:40Speaker 1: Bowl together. Has always been a tradition for the three
- 21:42Speaker 1: of them to do together. I'm not into sports ball,
- 21:45Speaker 1: but this year my daughter didn't join them. I asked
- 21:48Speaker 1: her if she was okay, and she gave me a
- 21:50Speaker 1: yeah and continued reading a book.
- 21:53Speaker 2: She's going through puberty, lady, Like, seriously, this is when
- 21:58Speaker 2: when girl's behavior changed. Believe me, honestly, if she's that
- 22:04Speaker 2: close with her father, I would imagine that his explanation
- 22:07Speaker 2: was sufficient. If not, I mean, then she's in a
- 22:11Speaker 2: snit and she just needs to get over it, or
- 22:15Speaker 2: her or.
- 22:16Speaker 1: The wife, the mom should needs to co sign on
- 22:19Speaker 1: what the dad says, because I think that she's throwing
- 22:22Speaker 1: the mom's not supporting the father's decision. He begrudgingly went
- 22:26Speaker 1: along with it and everything. So like if she came
- 22:29Speaker 1: and if she's united, like if they're a team and
- 22:32Speaker 1: she says, look, this is this is important for these reasons. Whatever,
- 22:36Speaker 1: if you need to rationalize it or explain it to
- 22:38Speaker 1: her that way, but we are a family and we
- 22:41Speaker 1: should be like, you know, stick it together, or I'll
- 22:43Speaker 1: do something with you or whatever, or he'll do something
- 22:46Speaker 1: with you separately. But the daughter is acting like a
- 22:49Speaker 1: brat because she wants to be included, like insists on it,
- 22:53Speaker 1: and any exclusion is apparently like harming her, you know,
- 22:58Speaker 1: her self esteem, her pride, whatever. I just think that
- 23:01Speaker 1: she's just not getting her weight, and her mother's resilience
- 23:05Speaker 1: to actually like co sign and stand with it, yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: stand by her is actually encouraging her to continue to
- 23:13Speaker 1: be braddy because she thinks she can get her mother
- 23:16Speaker 1: to essentially like apply pressure to the dad to change
- 23:19Speaker 1: his mind. I mean, but yeah, she could also be
- 23:23Speaker 1: because like you know, when you're eleven, I think most
- 23:26Speaker 1: girls are still like tomboys to some degree, you know,
- 23:31Speaker 1: so that she could also There could like a lot of.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Things happening, And I agree that it's quite possible that
- 23:38Speaker 2: the mother is increasing the antemosity here or she's turning
- 23:42Speaker 2: this into a crusade, so instead of making this a teachable.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Moment for her daughter.
- 23:48Speaker 2: You know, your father still loves you, but he is
- 23:50Speaker 2: something else he needs to do for your nephew to
- 23:55Speaker 2: help him out in his life and what he's doing,
- 23:57Speaker 2: and you know he doesn't love you any less. It's
- 24:00Speaker 2: just sometimes men and boys need to have their own
- 24:04Speaker 2: time and explain all of that. She's turning it into
- 24:07Speaker 2: a crusade because she's personally offended by the idea, probably
- 24:10Speaker 2: because it's politically unpleasant to her or offensive, and.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Then the daughter's picking up on it.
- 24:17Speaker 2: It could be that the daughter is picking up on
- 24:19Speaker 2: her mother's antimosity, doesn't even really.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Care that much understood it.
- 24:24Speaker 2: She could have been sad, like the thing is that,
- 24:27Speaker 2: you know, occasionally for myself, I use myself as an
- 24:31Speaker 2: example salopsism, I know, but you know, you just feel
- 24:34Speaker 2: something right, something bums you out, like you wanted to
- 24:38Speaker 2: go on the fishing trip but she didn't. You weren't
- 24:40Speaker 2: able to you know why.
- 24:42Speaker 3: But you're just bummed out. But you'll get over it, right,
- 24:45Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Or somebody's annoying the crap out of you, and you're
- 24:48Speaker 2: just like, okay, I need a month break from you,
- 24:51Speaker 2: and you take the month break, you get it out
- 24:53Speaker 2: of your system, and then and then it's fine.
- 24:55Speaker 1: You know.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Motions are transient, and maybe the daughter was just like, yeah,
- 24:58Speaker 2: this sucks. I'm just gonna I'm gonna go be upset
- 25:03Speaker 2: a bit and then get over it, right, you know
- 25:05Speaker 2: what I mean? You can feel a negative emotion without
- 25:08Speaker 2: turning it into a crusade. Just feel it, get over it,
- 25:12Speaker 2: move on. And that she could have been in that process.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I mean, her being sad is not the end of
- 25:16Speaker 2: the fricking world.
- 25:18Speaker 3: And this is the thing.
- 25:19Speaker 2: It's like this whole mentality that the mother's bringing is
- 25:23Speaker 2: this idea that a woman's emotions are should define the universe,
- 25:27Speaker 2: and they a woman's.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Emotions shouldn't even define her universe.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Just let her get over it. She's if she's a
- 25:34Speaker 2: real tomboy, she'll at some point just bounce back. But
- 25:38Speaker 2: it sounds like the mother made it a huge issue,
- 25:41Speaker 2: and it may be a situation where the girl thinks
- 25:43Speaker 2: she needs to take sides now so if she doesn't
- 25:48Speaker 2: pursue this crusade, this mother's crusade, and she actually just.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Is like, you know what, I'm done with this.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I'm was sad, I'm fine now I want to hang.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Out and that's good.
- 25:58Speaker 2: She thinks that maybe she's to piss off her mother.
- 26:01Speaker 2: You see what I'm saying. It's almost like she's her
- 26:04Speaker 2: mother is constructed this balkanization in her own family instead
- 26:08Speaker 2: of just giving making this a teachable woman for her daughter.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Emotions are emotions. The world doesn't have to stop for
- 26:16Speaker 2: your sadness because you're a woman or a girl.
- 26:19Speaker 1: And yeah, what is she gonn.
- 26:27Speaker 3: It could be a situation.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it could be a situation where the daughter feels
- 26:33Speaker 2: like she has to take sides now, and if she
- 26:36Speaker 2: actually does pursue it just lets her relationship with her
- 26:41Speaker 2: father resume as if nothing happened. Then her mother is
- 26:43Speaker 2: going to be pissed off at her because she's no
- 26:46Speaker 2: longer evidence of her father's offensive, toxic masculinity, male privilege crap. Right,
- 26:53Speaker 2: So she feels like, well, I better stay out of
- 26:56Speaker 2: the situation, you know the father. Maybe, just if if
- 27:00Speaker 2: the daughter's in a snit over this, either because she
- 27:03Speaker 2: wasn't in a snit initially or because the mother has
- 27:06Speaker 2: compelled her to be in a snit, the father may
- 27:09Speaker 2: be like, well, okay, this is what she wants. She
- 27:12Speaker 2: wants her time, her time and space. Maybe she's in
- 27:15Speaker 2: response to hint her realizing her father wants uh space
- 27:20Speaker 2: for the boys. She's realizing she wants space for herself,
- 27:23Speaker 2: which is fine, right. She might not be in a snit.
- 27:26Speaker 2: She might just want her own space because she's eleven
- 27:29Speaker 2: and she's about to go through puberty, and like eleven
- 27:32Speaker 2: is when you start to have what they call, uh,
- 27:36Speaker 2: like this pre puberty state where your brain start your
- 27:39Speaker 2: brain starts to change and you start to have a
- 27:41Speaker 2: different focus. So she might she might be going through that,
- 27:44Speaker 2: and maybe she wants private time to herself, you know,
- 27:49Speaker 2: and maybe something like that. You know, But all of
- 27:52Speaker 2: this is not made better by somebody with a microscope
- 27:57Speaker 2: analyzing every single every single action in order to turn
- 28:01Speaker 2: it into a knife knife to stab her husband with,
- 28:05Speaker 2: like you know, and she's this is possibly the most
- 28:12Speaker 2: disruptive and antagonistic thing the.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Mother could do. And she's she's like not making it
- 28:19Speaker 3: any better. And I know what she's doing.
- 28:21Speaker 2: She's turning this into a political talking point. She's making
- 28:25Speaker 2: this into a feminist statement.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Well, if she's on Reddit asking, she's like already, like
- 28:31Speaker 1: you know, cooked she's on Reddit, she's playing with ouiji boards.
- 28:36Speaker 1: It's over.
- 28:38Speaker 2: And the other thing is like, if she's worried that
- 28:41Speaker 2: her daughter's depressed, why doesn't she talk to her? Like
- 28:46Speaker 2: why is it all I'm the father? Yeah, there's another
- 28:51Speaker 2: alternative interpretation.
- 28:52Speaker 1: This woman doesn't really want to be a parent because
- 28:57Speaker 1: that she She goes on to say that she's she
- 28:59Speaker 1: doesn't she thinks this whole thing is his fault and
- 29:02Speaker 1: that she's not going to do anything to fix it.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I think is the rest of the of this right here,
- 29:09Speaker 1: so I could read it. I got a super chow
- 29:11Speaker 1: by the way from Winter. Yeah we did. Winter gave
- 29:16Speaker 1: us twenty bucks and says honey for the Badgers, thank you, Winter,
- 29:19Speaker 1: really appreciate it.
- 29:21Speaker 3: It was some extreme zoom ups.
- 29:22Speaker 2: It's that Wayne world.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you're still a little zoomed up. I don't know
- 29:25Speaker 1: if you can see that.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I had to change my camera because, oh delay, I
- 29:31Speaker 2: have like I have a story, guys, I don't know
- 29:34Speaker 2: where the zoom ups come from.
- 29:35Speaker 1: That was That's completely new, no worries.
- 29:37Speaker 3: I've never seen that before.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah, we're good. We're good, all right. So the rest
- 29:42Speaker 1: of her post, I'll read the next bit of this.
- 29:46Speaker 1: My husband noticed this behavior and tried to cheer her
- 29:49Speaker 1: up by telling her he would plan something really cool
- 29:52Speaker 1: just the two of them, but our daughter told him
- 29:54Speaker 1: she didn't want to do anything. A couple of days later,
- 29:57Speaker 1: my daughter needed to be picked up early from school
- 29:59Speaker 1: for a dentist appointment. My husband said he would pick
- 30:02Speaker 1: her up, but she texted me asking please, Mom, can
- 30:05Speaker 1: you pick me up and bring me My daughter also
- 30:08Speaker 1: has been getting the school bus in the morning instead
- 30:11Speaker 1: of catching a ride with my husband and son, which
- 30:13Speaker 1: she typically does. Now, my husband has been complaining to
- 30:16Speaker 1: me about our daughter, saying he's done everything to make
- 30:18Speaker 1: it up to her and that I need to step in.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I told him she would be hurt by him excluding
- 30:23Speaker 1: her from the trip, and it's entirely his fault. She's
- 30:26Speaker 1: icing him out. Oh, he says, I should be a
- 30:29Speaker 1: team and try to fix this together, But he's the
- 30:32Speaker 1: one who caused this hurt, so it shouldn't be on
- 30:35Speaker 1: me to fix it. It's starting to affect our relationship
- 30:37Speaker 1: now too. Am I the asshole? Yes?
- 30:40Speaker 3: You are absolutely one percent the asshole.
- 30:42Speaker 2: And the only thing that is actually heartening about this
- 30:45Speaker 2: entire situation is that there is the tweet in which
- 30:50Speaker 2: I think some guy was calling this woman out is
- 30:54Speaker 2: actually got more up boats than all of the future.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I'm a vocal distance. The vocal distance, yeah, yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah, he's pretty substantial attention. So it's like at least somebody,
- 31:09Speaker 2: at least there's some sanity here.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Yes, you are a nutcase.
- 31:16Speaker 2: He went and had a fishing trip with his nephew
- 31:19Speaker 2: who doesn't have a man in his life, and his son,
- 31:22Speaker 2: and he he said to his daughter, he wants to
- 31:25Speaker 2: do this because it's just boys time.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 31:29Speaker 2: The fact that you're encouraging if this is the case,
- 31:32Speaker 2: because we guess what, guess what we haven't heard. We
- 31:35Speaker 2: haven't heard the daughter's opinion, Like why hasn't the why
- 31:40Speaker 2: in all of this, since she is the issue of contention,
- 31:44Speaker 2: how come the mother hasn't hasn't actually talked to her
- 31:48Speaker 2: to find her opinion, Like she's she's so okay, let me,
- 31:53Speaker 2: let me, let me get okay. So this is all
- 31:57Speaker 2: basically observation. Has she if she had actually stopped, If
- 32:05Speaker 2: the mar had stopped and taken her daughter aside and said, hey, what's.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Going on with you? Don't she think she would have
- 32:11Speaker 3: reported that?
- 32:13Speaker 2: But there's no indication of that that that has actually happened.
- 32:18Speaker 3: So there's all these observations.
- 32:20Speaker 2: She's observing her daughter from afar, but apparently hasn't taken
- 32:24Speaker 2: it upon herself to actually ask what's going on? Is
- 32:28Speaker 2: it because of the trip or is it because you
- 32:33Speaker 2: know you're feeling different? Is it because you want to
- 32:36Speaker 2: be closer to your mom, because you're going through you know,
- 32:38Speaker 2: you're going through new things.
- 32:39Speaker 3: You're discovering boys or something, you know what I mean.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's entirely possible. It's that. But it's also entirely
- 32:46Speaker 1: possible the daughter's being a brat and she should be
- 32:48Speaker 1: told that you don't always get what you want. So
- 32:50Speaker 1: it's and it should be both of those things. The
- 32:53Speaker 1: mother should be on a united front with her husband.
- 32:57Speaker 1: He is the one making the relationship strained. Her husband
- 33:01Speaker 1: is trying his best to work with the daughter. He's like, look,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I'll do this for you whatever. I don't think he should.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I think he would like, suck it up, buttercup. You
- 33:10Speaker 1: know you don't always get what you want. I'm doing
- 33:12Speaker 1: this because men need to spend time with men sometimes,
- 33:15Speaker 1: and women need to spend time with women sometimes. Yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 1: I bet it.
- 33:19Speaker 2: My point is this, and this is a really significant point. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 2: the mother says she's championing her daughter, But nowhere in
- 33:27Speaker 2: this do I hear a reflection of what the.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Daughter is thinking.
- 33:32Speaker 2: The only thing at the beginning was she seems sad,
- 33:35Speaker 2: and now the mother is observing these behaviors, but at
- 33:38Speaker 2: no point, apparently did she think to actually talk to
- 33:42Speaker 2: her daughter. And if she had, I assume part of
- 33:46Speaker 2: the conversation, part of what she would have written and read,
- 33:48Speaker 2: it would be and my daughter told me this.
- 33:51Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 33:54Speaker 2: So the daughter. What's interesting to me is the daughter
- 33:56Speaker 2: is this complete blank slate like she is anybody talking
- 34:02Speaker 2: to her asking her what the problem is if there
- 34:05Speaker 2: is a problem like it doesn't it seems like more
- 34:10Speaker 2: like she feels like she's a game piece in this
- 34:14Speaker 2: this this game, this battle that this mother, this wife
- 34:18Speaker 2: is having against her husband. Because and if the wife
- 34:22Speaker 2: was so concerned about her daughter, why hasn't she talking
- 34:25Speaker 2: to her, talked to her. And if if she did
- 34:28Speaker 2: talk to her, why wasn't that part of what she
- 34:30Speaker 2: talked about here? I mean, it's either she didn't talk
- 34:34Speaker 2: to her, in which piece, why haven't you talked to her?
- 34:36Speaker 2: If you care this much and you did talk to her,
- 34:39Speaker 2: why didn't she report on her feelings? If you care
- 34:41Speaker 2: so much, you see what I'm saying. Mm hmm. So
- 34:44Speaker 2: it's like She's taken on this crusade on behalf of
- 34:46Speaker 2: someone she doesn't even seem to care about enough to
- 34:49Speaker 2: talk to yeah, or to consider the validity of their emotions.
- 34:54Speaker 2: The only reason if she talked to her daughter and
- 34:57Speaker 2: her daughter expressed something to her, the only reason to
- 35:00Speaker 2: admit it would be is if her daughter said, Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 2: I'm just.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Not feeling it right now.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I just want to I want time to myself, I
- 35:07Speaker 2: want more time with you. I'm not upset, I just
- 35:10Speaker 2: just feel like doing you know it, Just it made
- 35:12Speaker 2: me realize that I also want my own time, right
- 35:15Speaker 2: I want a little bit of my own space or
- 35:17Speaker 2: something like that. If if that's what the daughter said,
- 35:20Speaker 2: that doesn't support the what mother's crusade, so she'd admit it.
- 35:23Speaker 2: So she either hasn't talked to her daughter, or she's
- 35:25Speaker 2: talked to her daughter and her daughter hasn't told her
- 35:27Speaker 2: what she wants to hear that supports her crusade. Either case,
- 35:32Speaker 2: she ain't getting Mother of the Year. And I'm just
- 35:36Speaker 2: I'm separating this from her behavior towards her her husband.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Just I'm separating this out. Her behavior towards her daughter
- 35:45Speaker 2: is in a prose is bad like it's it's she's
- 35:48Speaker 2: talking for her daughter. She's not talking to her daughter
- 35:51Speaker 2: if she has these concerns, If she has talked to
- 35:54Speaker 2: her daughter, she's not revealing this to the Reddit audience,
- 35:57Speaker 2: probably because it doesn't support her political position, her her
- 36:01Speaker 2: need to see this as some kind of vast feminist battlefield.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:07Speaker 2: So, I mean, it's like this, even her behavior to
- 36:09Speaker 2: her daughter is shitty. Let's just set aside the behavior
- 36:12Speaker 2: towards her the father Like this, you're can she's constructing
- 36:18Speaker 2: this problem and there's no indication she actually even gives
- 36:22Speaker 2: a crap about the person she's crusading for because she
- 36:25Speaker 2: isn't talking to them, or she is talking to them,
- 36:29Speaker 2: she's not listening to what they have to say because
- 36:31Speaker 2: they don't support her position in all this, You see
- 36:33Speaker 2: what I'm saying. So we could talk about her need
- 36:37Speaker 2: to support her father, her husband, What about her need
- 36:41Speaker 2: not to go on a crusade for somebody she apparently
- 36:43Speaker 2: isn't talking to herself.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and then.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Ultimately, if she doesn't want the daughter to reconcile with
- 36:54Speaker 2: the husband, the father, then she's really putting the daughter
- 36:59Speaker 2: in a very tricky position because if she does, if
- 37:04Speaker 2: she does get closer to her father, then her mother
- 37:07Speaker 2: gets upset like this, this woman sounds like she's has
- 37:13Speaker 2: an issue with narcissism. We're not narcissm like borderline personality
- 37:17Speaker 2: or dramatic like that, histrionic personality. Like you need to
- 37:23Speaker 2: construct these these scenarios where you you make battlefields where
- 37:28Speaker 2: people have to take your side, you know what I mean?
- 37:32Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, I don't know.
- 37:34Speaker 1: All right, I got a super well I'm I'm multitasking,
- 37:41Speaker 1: but I am paying attention. Uh, this is a disservice
- 37:45Speaker 1: to the daughter, and I agree with that, Yes it is,
- 37:49Speaker 1: but we won't. I mean again, we kind of just
- 37:51Speaker 1: have to take this post, this original post word for it.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I mean, that's all we can really respond to. But
- 37:56Speaker 1: I think, yes, trying to find out what the daughter
- 37:59Speaker 1: actually believes. But also again, you know, like I think
- 38:02Speaker 1: it's there's there's already they're creating tension now, and I
- 38:06Speaker 1: think that's gonna get worse as long as the woman
- 38:10Speaker 1: who made the original post in this scenario sees her
- 38:13Speaker 1: husband as like an opposing you know, like army or
- 38:17Speaker 1: an opponent on a battlefield, and her daughter is one
- 38:20Speaker 1: of the tools to win the battle. It's like, you're
- 38:25Speaker 1: supposed to be united, you know, but I got a
- 38:28Speaker 1: super child from Albatross. Thank you. He gives us five
- 38:30Speaker 1: dollars and says, can the moms and daughter do a
- 38:34Speaker 1: cool activity revolving around what they like? Nothing wrong with
- 38:37Speaker 1: the daughter admiring their male role models, but why does
- 38:41Speaker 1: it have to be hang out with the guys or
- 38:43Speaker 1: nothing at all? Well, see in the post. The mother
- 38:47Speaker 1: claims that because the daughter is a tomboy who's into
- 38:51Speaker 1: fishing and like guy things, and that she is like,
- 38:54Speaker 1: you know, into like baking and like girl things, that
- 38:57Speaker 1: they couldn't possibly have anything to do together. Although again,
- 39:02Speaker 1: most of the time, when girls get hit puberty, that
- 39:06Speaker 1: whole tomboy thing is a phase that they just get
- 39:08Speaker 1: out of and then they start, you know, becoming more
- 39:11Speaker 1: like feminine unless they were always raised in that. But
- 39:14Speaker 1: I assume that if this is true, it probably has
- 39:17Speaker 1: to do with the fact that there were more boys
- 39:19Speaker 1: in the house than girls, because the son is a
- 39:22Speaker 1: little older. He's thirteen and the daughter is eleven, so
- 39:25Speaker 1: she's just sort of taking after her bigger brother. But
- 39:30Speaker 1: what I think, I think that they could do stuff together.
- 39:32Speaker 1: But the mom does not want to step in and
- 39:35Speaker 1: be a part of the solution. She wants to essentially
- 39:38Speaker 1: just complain about the problem.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and so there could be multiple reasons.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Maybe the daughter is being a snit, like she's in
- 39:47Speaker 2: a she's being a brat, and in that case the
- 39:52Speaker 2: mother does need to say you need to get over it,
- 39:54Speaker 2: because this is like, there's no reason to continue to
- 39:58Speaker 2: ruin your relationship because your dad took your nephew and
- 40:01Speaker 2: your brother for some boy time, right, there's no reason
- 40:05Speaker 2: for That's that's absurd, it's overblown, Okay. Life is full
- 40:11Speaker 2: of disappointments like that. It could be a situation where
- 40:14Speaker 2: the daughter feels like she now has to choose between
- 40:17Speaker 2: her mother and her father, and she chooses her father,
- 40:20Speaker 2: her mother will be angry at her, which is entirely
- 40:23Speaker 2: on the mother, right.
- 40:25Speaker 3: So one the girl is being.
- 40:27Speaker 2: A brat, the mother has to actually tell stand up
- 40:31Speaker 2: and say you got to get over it, okay, or
- 40:34Speaker 2: she's going to continue to encourage her daughter to develop
- 40:38Speaker 2: an attitude of victimhood, being a victim of things like
- 40:43Speaker 2: I mean, you can say, yeah, it's perfectly fine to
- 40:45Speaker 2: feel sad, but sometimes we just need to deal with
- 40:48Speaker 2: negative emotions because you know there's a greater good at
- 40:51Speaker 2: foot here. You know, your nephew needs needs a father figure,
- 40:56Speaker 2: and your father is stepping up. That's a good thing
- 40:58Speaker 2: that he's doing. You know, you just need to suck
- 41:02Speaker 2: it up.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Fine, No, she needs to have that life lesson.
- 41:06Speaker 2: The mother is interfering with that because she wants to
- 41:09Speaker 2: turn it into a evidence of her own probably political viewpoint,
- 41:13Speaker 2: considering she's on Reddit two. The daughter feels like she
- 41:18Speaker 2: has to choose sides, and because the mother is making
- 41:22Speaker 2: her feel like that, and so she's evading going around
- 41:27Speaker 2: being around her father. She feels like she has to
- 41:29Speaker 2: now end her relationship with her father because her mother
- 41:32Speaker 2: has turned her relationship with her father into a political
- 41:36Speaker 2: talking point, into a political crusade. Right, And again, I
- 41:41Speaker 2: want to point out that the mother has not expressed it,
- 41:45Speaker 2: not apparently actually took her daughter aside and found out
- 41:48Speaker 2: her position or her point of view in all of this.
- 41:51Speaker 2: So that's the other that's the option too. And the
- 41:53Speaker 2: third option is that this is unrelated and she's just
- 41:55Speaker 2: going through puberty. Yeah, all of which require all of
- 42:01Speaker 2: which require the mother to do something. One to tell
- 42:04Speaker 2: the daughter to knock it off. Don't ruin your relationship
- 42:07Speaker 2: with your father and your brother over something that your
- 42:09Speaker 2: father needed to do to help a kid who may
- 42:12Speaker 2: be in trouble, you know, who needs help. And two
- 42:16Speaker 2: the mother needs to get over herself and stop turning
- 42:20Speaker 2: her family into a political battle ground. And three the
- 42:23Speaker 2: mother needs to actually talk to her daughter to ascertain
- 42:26Speaker 2: if in fact it's because she's upset over the fishing trip,
- 42:30Speaker 2: or if something else is happening. Maybe she had a
- 42:34Speaker 2: bad thing happened at school that really upset her. Right,
- 42:38Speaker 2: maybe she's dealing with something at school.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Maybe maybe she's being.
- 42:44Speaker 2: A proposition by drug dealers. Who knows, you know, let's
- 42:47Speaker 2: get some Nancy.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Rad she's avoiding her father stuff, So but yeah, go ahead.
- 42:56Speaker 2: But that's that doesn't necessarily mean that she's avoiding her
- 42:58Speaker 2: father as a result of this situation. It could be, well,
- 43:02Speaker 2: it could be. It could be she's just thinking, maybe
- 43:05Speaker 2: she wants her own alone time.
- 43:07Speaker 3: She's she's she.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Thought about, you know, boy time, and she's thought about
- 43:14Speaker 2: and she feels like there's a bit of a detachment there.
- 43:16Speaker 3: But you gotta like, you do.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Have to emotionally detach from your parents at some point, Right,
- 43:21Speaker 2: you got to start being a bit more alone, being
- 43:24Speaker 2: thinking about things through your own ideas.
- 43:28Speaker 3: That's not a bad thing.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Like even if she even if he said I gotta
- 43:32Speaker 2: have boy time and she's like, oh, okay, well so
- 43:36Speaker 2: he's sort of he he has to go do something
- 43:38Speaker 2: on his own with the boys. Maybe there's something I
- 43:41Speaker 2: need to do on my own. Even if it's that,
- 43:44Speaker 2: like he she could just be pursuing that, just just
- 43:48Speaker 2: going on her own little walk about. Right, that's fine,
- 43:52Speaker 2: there's no problem there. But how do we know the
- 43:55Speaker 2: mother isn't talking to her?
- 43:58Speaker 3: And like, so that that would be my interpretations.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Those are the three, all of which sort of pinpoint
- 44:04Speaker 2: the father being right that the mother needs to do something.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Mother either needs to talk to her daughter. Well, first
- 44:08Speaker 2: of all, she does need to talk to her daughter.
- 44:10Speaker 3: If her daughter is in fact doing.
- 44:13Speaker 2: The the freeze out game with her father, she needs
- 44:18Speaker 2: to explain that it's not worth it.
- 44:21Speaker 1: M h.
- 44:21Speaker 2: It's not worth ruining your relationship with your father and
- 44:24Speaker 2: brother of her petty reasons. Or she needs to find
- 44:26Speaker 2: out if it's something else, right, That's what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah,
- 44:32Speaker 2: but she's not The father is right, she's not, she's
- 44:34Speaker 2: not doing any of that.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Well, she yes, he needs her help. That's the thing too,
- 44:38Speaker 1: is that he asked for her help. He's like, I,
- 44:41Speaker 1: you know, you're my You're my partner. I have a
- 44:44Speaker 1: we have a problem. I need you to help me
- 44:46Speaker 1: fix it. And she's like, no, you caused this problem.
- 44:49Speaker 1: You have to fix yourself. So yeah, all right, ZARAENX
- 44:53Speaker 1: gives us another super child. Thank you, ZARAENX, and says
- 44:55Speaker 1: for five dollars, let me just this is why repeal
- 45:00Speaker 1: the nineteenth exists. This is a mother who has nothing
- 45:03Speaker 1: to offer her daughter because they don't share similar interests.
- 45:06Speaker 1: She's not inclined to tell her daughter her father will
- 45:08Speaker 1: pick her up and do all she's done before. She
- 45:11Speaker 1: just allows the degradation of her daughter's welfare. The daughter
- 45:15Speaker 1: is likely pulling away because she experienced something she considers major,
- 45:19Speaker 1: and she's protecting herself. The mother sounds like a surrogate
- 45:22Speaker 1: to me. Dad sounds like a guy who misjudges who
- 45:25Speaker 1: he's married to. He should take the reins and lead
- 45:28Speaker 1: his daughter the way he's supposed to. I hope he does,
- 45:32Speaker 1: all right. Well, another thing women could do.
- 45:36Speaker 3: This even when they couldn't vote, Let's be honest.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but I mean, I think what he's saying
- 45:41Speaker 1: is the sentiment that it's not like something's gonna happen.
- 45:44Speaker 1: It's like the sentiment is like women are not, you know,
- 45:46Speaker 1: taking responsibility, like they're they're less mature. The idea I
- 45:50Speaker 1: think he's saying is that they're less mature today than
- 45:53Speaker 1: they were when women did not have the vote, So
- 45:56Speaker 1: you're right, shouldn't get them. Yeah, and we're telling when yeah, exactly.
- 46:04Speaker 1: One other thing I'll say about that is related as well,
- 46:06Speaker 1: is that, like you know, the guye time thing, and
- 46:11Speaker 1: this is what local Distance said. The fishing was not
- 46:15Speaker 1: the point. It was about male bonding. It is so
- 46:18Speaker 1: that the obviously so the son and the father can
- 46:22Speaker 1: go grow closer together in a way that is unique
- 46:25Speaker 1: to sons and fathers, and that the nephew would get
- 46:29Speaker 1: some of that as well because he doesn't have a father.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I don't know that that makes that means the nephew
- 46:35Speaker 1: is in trouble per se. But if if the single
- 46:38Speaker 1: mom's sister of the husband moved into their town and
- 46:43Speaker 1: wants her child to spend time with him, then she
- 46:47Speaker 1: recognizes the importance of that, which is probably why she
- 46:51Speaker 1: defended the idea that they do that alone. And when
- 46:55Speaker 1: those kids are with you know, the dad, they're probably
- 46:58Speaker 1: going to yeah, they're gonna fish and all that, but
- 47:00Speaker 1: they're probably gonna like have some you know, important conversations.
- 47:04Speaker 1: They're both what twelve and thirteen, they're getting to the
- 47:07Speaker 1: point where they're gonna be hitting puberty soon. They're gonna
- 47:10Speaker 1: be thinking about their future. They may have I mean,
- 47:13Speaker 1: they may still be too young to like really like
- 47:16Speaker 1: plant it out, but they'll at least start talking about it,
- 47:18Speaker 1: and they'll feel like they can open up and be
- 47:21Speaker 1: vulnerable to the father. And this reaction by the mom
- 47:26Speaker 1: and the daughter shows why that's necessary, because like if
- 47:31Speaker 1: they said, well, you know, like if they couldn't open
- 47:34Speaker 1: up around other women, that's I think that that's another thing.
- 47:38Speaker 1: And plus another thing. This is literally the opposite of
- 47:42Speaker 1: what you just talked about. If the mom made an
- 47:44Speaker 1: effort to spend time with her daughter, they could also
- 47:47Speaker 1: do the same. The daughter probably does have a lot
- 47:49Speaker 1: on her mind that she wants to share, but all
- 47:51Speaker 1: of this right now is just avoidance, you know what
- 47:53Speaker 1: I mean.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Yes, well, it's giving the daughter the impression the only
- 47:57Speaker 2: reason why our mother's interested in her is as a
- 47:59Speaker 2: talking point mm hmmm, which is honestly sort of depressing, like, uh, yeah, it's.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she should be involved. Don't be like, well,
- 48:12Speaker 1: I like baking, so I can't relate to my daughter.
- 48:14Speaker 1: That's stupid, Like that's ridiculously stupid. You know, teacher to bake. Yeah,
- 48:21Speaker 1: maybe she is still. Have you tried like she she's
- 48:25Speaker 1: what eleven now? She probably would like to try something new.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Richard Bierre gives this five dollars super chow and says
- 48:32Speaker 1: this mother sounds like she would be in later life,
- 48:35Speaker 1: while facing death from cancer, would be asking her husband
- 48:38Speaker 1: for permission to sleep with a previous lover because the
- 48:41Speaker 1: sex was better with the previous lover after decades of
- 48:44Speaker 1: being married to the husband. Okay, thank you for that.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I hope it's not true, but who knows. So what
- 48:55Speaker 1: do you wanna Do you wanna look at something else
- 48:57Speaker 1: now or no?
- 49:00Speaker 2: Oh, I mean we could look at the briefly the
- 49:02Speaker 2: conversation one of the conversations that I.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Had, Oh, were you in here?
- 49:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:10Speaker 3: I was, I was. Do you want me to give
- 49:11Speaker 3: you the link to what I said?
- 49:13Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, let's let's get it.
- 49:15Speaker 3: It was somewhat amazing.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I did see Sidney Watson had some words to
- 49:20Speaker 1: be commented in here, I know, and she said, let's
- 49:23Speaker 1: let's see her take. I feel like I'm going mad
- 49:26Speaker 1: reading these comments. Lmfao. Let me just share this real quick. Uh.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Daughter got excluded from activity she really enjoys with the
- 49:34Speaker 1: two people she obviously adores, her dad and brother, which,
- 49:37Speaker 1: of course we have to just take that as given.
- 49:40Speaker 1: I guess. Mother points to this, out, points this out
- 49:43Speaker 1: to father, says daughter is gonna be pissed. Daughter ends
- 49:46Speaker 1: up being pissed, and somehow this is the mother's fault.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Mother is exclusively interacting with dad, not daughter. Mother could
- 49:53Speaker 1: very well have been trying to hype daughter up about
- 49:56Speaker 1: a fun mother daughter bonding experience. We don't know, but
- 49:59Speaker 1: you all assume she somehow I fault seeking exorcism. But
- 50:04Speaker 1: she's sharing her point of view. It's the only point
- 50:06Speaker 1: of view we have that we have the mother's point
- 50:09Speaker 1: of view.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Can I point? Yeah, and she doesn't even have the
- 50:12Speaker 2: daughter's point of view. Here's the big thing. I mean,
- 50:14Speaker 2: you can Sidney Watson can say what she wants about
- 50:17Speaker 2: people calling out the mother. Why didn't Why don't we know?
- 50:21Speaker 2: Why hasn't the mother asked what the daughter's feeling? It's
- 50:24Speaker 2: all external observation. So at no point, apparently did she
- 50:28Speaker 2: think to take her aside and say, hey, what's going on?
- 50:31Speaker 3: Right?
- 50:32Speaker 2: So the mother isn't even showing any consideration to her daughter,
- 50:36Speaker 2: who is also a woman. I'm really wondering about this
- 50:39Speaker 2: whole sort of odyssey of Sidney Watson here, like why
- 50:45Speaker 2: did she get involved in men's issues if she can't
- 50:48Speaker 2: see the situation from men's point of view?
- 50:52Speaker 1: No, I mean it's obviously like why aren't you making
- 50:55Speaker 1: the daughter happy? And there's no reason for it. Again,
- 50:58Speaker 1: it comes back to the what is this really about?
- 51:01Speaker 1: It's not about a fun time, Okay, it's not. It's
- 51:05Speaker 1: about building male relationships with other men that are like
- 51:09Speaker 1: responsible and wise and you know people that you look
- 51:12Speaker 1: up to, i e. Your father or your uncle in
- 51:16Speaker 1: this case if you're the nephew. So it's not about
- 51:19Speaker 1: just it's not they're not just going out and having fun.
- 51:22Speaker 1: There's something else going on there. It's like how men bond,
- 51:26Speaker 1: Like why don't women understand this? I asked that rhetorically.
- 51:32Speaker 1: It's a rhetorical question. All right, I'm sorry, Allison. So
- 51:35Speaker 1: did you send me the lake?
- 51:38Speaker 2: No, I haven't sent you the leak. I'm just looking
- 51:40Speaker 2: at some of the responses.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I know people. A lot of these people don't
- 51:48Speaker 1: get it. So, no, they don't know. Some do and ladies, yeah,
- 51:54Speaker 1: lady Lewarc says, So what you're saying is men can't
- 51:57Speaker 1: have their own time for male bonding anymore. Why can't they?
- 52:00Speaker 1: They had their own spaces. Women aren't the same as
- 52:02Speaker 1: men made the men need their own spaces too. It's
- 52:04Speaker 1: not that complicated yet, It's very simple, yaor Odinson says, Nope.
- 52:11Speaker 1: This is the story of a mom emotionally manipulating her
- 52:14Speaker 1: daughter to punish her husband. I guarantee that if the
- 52:16Speaker 1: mom hadn't made such a big deal about the whole thing,
- 52:19Speaker 1: that the daughter wouldn't have made a big deal about
- 52:20Speaker 1: it either, and in law all likelihood, she probably wasn't
- 52:25Speaker 1: even bothered until the mother decided to make hay about
- 52:28Speaker 1: it and declare that her daughter was the victim of
- 52:30Speaker 1: the situation.
- 52:31Speaker 2: And again, no indication the mother has taken the daughter
- 52:34Speaker 2: aside and actually asked her opinion about all of this
- 52:37Speaker 2: or what's actually going on. This is all assumptions, not
- 52:41Speaker 2: just on the part of the mother towards the father,
- 52:44Speaker 2: but the daughter.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Yeah, even the original poster.
- 52:48Speaker 2: I just can't like, how is it that women can't.
- 52:51Speaker 1: See that they have no compassion pusicians, They don't give
- 52:57Speaker 1: a shit about mess.
- 52:58Speaker 2: It's absolutely like it's like you you are prisoners of
- 53:03Speaker 2: your emotions. M hm oh no. Actually, Aubrey has gotten
- 53:09Speaker 2: more of votes than than Vocal Distance. It's unflipping beelievable.
- 53:17Speaker 2: And then of course Naddy has Us has chimed.
- 53:20Speaker 1: In, we're at where all descending the.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Mother even though vocal Distance she just says she doesn't
- 53:26Speaker 2: know that, and she still has critique of the dad. Yeah,
- 53:29Speaker 2: but the dad actually said it was about male bonding,
- 53:33Speaker 2: didn't he.
- 53:33Speaker 1: He said me, he said, let's let and not look.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I'm I don't think there's anything to apologize for. He
- 53:39Speaker 1: literally said, I'm planning a guy's trip with my my
- 53:44Speaker 1: son and my nephew. Guy's trip, okay, And then he
- 53:48Speaker 1: said he just wants some guy time with his son
- 53:50Speaker 1: and nephew and that men need to have their time
- 53:54Speaker 1: away from women. There is nothing wrong with that, But
- 53:59Speaker 1: she took offense to the comment, which led to an argument,
- 54:03Speaker 1: so he is creating the drama here. Yes, he said
- 54:07Speaker 1: something very simple that is true. Men need to be
- 54:12Speaker 1: able to spend time away from women. They need to Okay,
- 54:18Speaker 1: so and and apparently women can't stand it, Like this
- 54:23Speaker 1: has always been the case, Like women cannot stand when
- 54:26Speaker 1: men are somewhere without them and they're happy, like if
- 54:30Speaker 1: there's some it doesn't matter what we're doing, if we're
- 54:33Speaker 1: if we're someplace and there's no women around and we're
- 54:36Speaker 1: having a good time, they can't stand it because they
- 54:40Speaker 1: want to be like, they want to know what's going on,
- 54:42Speaker 1: they want to have control over the space.
- 54:44Speaker 2: I just want to plat something out, something really creepy.
- 54:48Speaker 1: It's crazy that Natty doesn't see that. Literally, literally Mount
- 54:51Speaker 1: Athos exists. Like do you want to like to tell
- 54:55Speaker 1: women that they should be allowed to go there? I mean,
- 54:58Speaker 1: I know it's an extreme.
- 54:59Speaker 2: Example, but.
- 55:02Speaker 3: My point is that Okay, where I got.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Into, oh there, just be perfect, yes, just be just
- 55:09Speaker 1: be uh legendary.
- 55:11Speaker 2: They then you will have earned your way in as
- 55:15Speaker 2: a woman. I think that's really the problem, isn't it,
- 55:18Speaker 2: Like you have to be held to a very high standard.
- 55:22Speaker 2: I'm trying to find it. I'll try to find my Maybe.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Did anybody reply to it or like it? Because you
- 55:28Speaker 1: could see it in your notifications on X so let
- 55:33Speaker 1: me see any other super chow super chats.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I just like, what really baffles me is how these
- 55:40Speaker 2: women who got involved in men's issues never started to
- 55:45Speaker 2: understand the world from men's perspective. Yeah, like like Natty,
- 55:52Speaker 2: like Sidney Watson. And what's incredible to me is Sydney
- 55:55Speaker 2: came out of nowhere.
- 55:56Speaker 3: I've never heard of her ever.
- 56:00Speaker 2: She just popped out of nowhere with a giant like
- 56:04Speaker 2: March and then you know, like seven years later she's
- 56:11Speaker 2: having the lamest most feminist takes imaginable. Mm hmm, Like,
- 56:18Speaker 2: how does that happen? How does that trajectory happen? How
- 56:21Speaker 2: do you get involved in this and not understand try
- 56:25Speaker 2: to understand the men's perspective?
- 56:27Speaker 1: Okay, here it is all right, send it through. I
- 56:31Speaker 1: got another another positive comment. This is from Cultural weather
- 56:34Speaker 1: vein black woman, and she says, I have an unpopular opinion. Lol.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Mom shouldn't have pressured him to include her their daughter,
- 56:43Speaker 1: Like if he said, guys only leave it at that.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Why are you trying to force a girl into a
- 56:47Speaker 1: space he wanted with just guys for that one trip.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I feel like mom is a bit culpable. She created
- 56:53Speaker 1: this issue. Yes, that is a that is true, and
- 56:58Speaker 1: it's not it's not complic it's.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Not it's not complicated at all.
- 57:03Speaker 1: All right, So let me share this tab so Alison
- 57:07Speaker 1: posted if you have a son, make sure you take
- 57:10Speaker 1: it with you whenever you want to take your daughter
- 57:12Speaker 1: out for girl time.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Mm hmmm.
- 57:14Speaker 1: And then somebody named b says all mothers do that.
- 57:19Speaker 1: It's boys, the ones who don't want a girl do
- 57:21Speaker 1: girl time, don't. Yeah, boys, Yeah, all mothers do that.
- 57:30Speaker 1: But dude, maybe they shouldn't. Though even if they did,
- 57:34Speaker 1: maybe they shouldn't. Like, I don't, why what is this?
- 57:38Speaker 1: You know what it is? You know what it is.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I think there is a presupposition that men and women
- 57:44Speaker 1: are the same. This is a liberal idea that there's
- 57:47Speaker 1: no difference between the sexes, and it's all socialized and
- 57:51Speaker 1: it's all like you know, something that we get like
- 57:55Speaker 1: instilled in us by the patriarchy, the system, and that
- 57:59Speaker 1: means that you can just put a woman in a
- 58:01Speaker 1: man's space and she'll be just fine and vice versa.
- 58:05Speaker 1: But it's usually putting women in men's spaces. Because I
- 58:09Speaker 1: was about to say, like, women want their own spaces
- 58:12Speaker 1: for sure, but I'm just saying, like, there is the
- 58:14Speaker 1: idea that they're the same, therefore there is no difference.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Therefore excluding a girl from a fishing trip for boys
- 58:20Speaker 1: is wrong because no one should ever be excluded from
- 58:24Speaker 1: anything except boys.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Problem with it.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Even if it was true the other way, And Boyce said, well,
- 58:33Speaker 1: I don't really want to do that. They they would
- 58:36Speaker 1: because in general men don't want to be in women's spaces,
- 58:39Speaker 1: but women do want to be in men's spaces. Okay,
- 58:42Speaker 1: So you know, they.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Use this equality whenever it can benefit women, period and
- 58:49Speaker 2: as soon as it doesn't, they have a whole bunch
- 58:51Speaker 2: of shit that they trot out to explain why the
- 58:54Speaker 2: double standard and why they get to keep their privilege. So,
- 58:58Speaker 2: for example, girls will continue to need to have girl
- 59:03Speaker 2: time because of the thrall that put men put women
- 59:07Speaker 2: in that they need to be able to overcome. Right,
- 59:11Speaker 2: So I mean, yeah, it's about this kind of there
- 59:15Speaker 2: is no biological difference. But at the same time, as
- 59:19Speaker 2: in order to retain the privileges and exemptions that they
- 59:24Speaker 2: want girls to retain, they need an additional narrative, which
- 59:28Speaker 2: is the narrative that men and boys oppress women.
- 59:31Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying.
- 59:32Speaker 1: That justifies why women.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Always still need to have their own spaces.
- 59:37Speaker 1: And hierarchy to the assumptions, so one of them takes present.
- 59:44Speaker 2: The way it works is that you use the there's
- 59:48Speaker 2: no gender difference to justify women's inclusion and everything, and
- 59:54Speaker 2: to justify destroying men's spaces, et cetera, and to just
- 59:59Speaker 2: to say, essentially, if there is any differential in how
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: many women are in a space, it's due to oppression.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: And then you use the oppression narrative to justify why
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: women get their own spaces. So it's like that you
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: have biology and the denying the biology is only the
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: first part. In order to buttress women's unique right to
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: their own spaces, to having their opinion considered pre eminent,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: you use the patriarchy the male oppression narrative. And that's
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: why these two are so connected. Like it's like they
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: if you recognize biology, you can no longer recognize oppression,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: and you no longer well because it doesn't work because
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: the difference is between men and women become an expression
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: of biology. But if you do that, then you have
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: to give up oppression. So that's why we're here with
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: all of the.
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: Seventy two genders, because.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: We don't want we want to frame what happens to
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: women as a result of a rather than as an
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: expression of biology. And uh, yeah, so I mean that's
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: a that's I guess that's a bit.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: Of a digression.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: I just wanted to point out that, Yeah, sure, by
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: the way, talk about there being no biological difference, but
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: only when well they're being no biological difference. But men
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: always oppress women. Therefore women always need their privileges to
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: oppose it, right mm hm. Which is funny because if
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: men are constant always, if men are able to lead
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: women just with their thoughts, with no physical coersion, just
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: in the dark of a.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Woman's own mind, doesn't that mean that.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Women are basically naturally women's leaders, like they basically lead
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: them by just existing. But anyway, that's a digression. We
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: can go through what I had.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: To say because I think it's a good point. Yeah,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: let's look at some of these things. So you this
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: person said, b I'm just gonna call them be because
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna read all that shit all mothers do that.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: It's boys, the ones who don't want to do girl time.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Don't be dense, please. And then you said, don't piss
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: on my leg and tell me it's raining, and then
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: B says you're the one doing it. I've never met
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: a boy who wanted to spend a day in a
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: spa shopping or going to a salon lmao. But anyway,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: that girl disappointment is gonna be the same. Either way
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: the boy going out or not to the spa is
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: not going to change it. And that actually to my point, right, So,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: like girls, why do girls insist on being in boys' spaces?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: And why is it boys are not interested in girls' spaces.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: It's almost like there's some idea that men doing things
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: somewhere is like of greater value, like than what women
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: do to women. They're thinking, like, why is it you
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: don't want to do the things I want to do? Oh,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: maybe it's because you think that that stuff is beneath you.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: But I'm gonna do what you like to do because
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I actually do think that that's better because men don't
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: want a spy day, a spa day, or anything like that.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Well it's well, fundamentally, it's just a different perspective. But
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: also maybe it's an element that men represent a development
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: to adulthood. So spotty is are sort of a aggression
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: into infancy where you're getting taken care of, right.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: And.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I can see that like that girls would be more
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: interested in developing skills if they're developing adult an adult
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: understanding of themselves.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: So but the other thing is that maybe boys.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Do want to have these things, Like I've heard that
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: men do enjoy getting flowers, et cetera, but they're happy
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: to just let women have their thing.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Yeah, Like this is the thing.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: What I've noticed is that men are just okay with
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: women having their thing.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, They're all with women just having their thing,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: and women are not okay with men having their thing.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: And I don't know like if that's biological, evolutionary or social,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: but okay, it is. It is a phenomenon that I
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: it is observable, and this person B is trying to
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: like make this equivalent equivalency, but all it means is
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: they're not interested, but they seem to have an issue
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: with that. Like men have to have to like girl things,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and I'm gonna specify what those girl things are, but
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: they don't. They just they're like generally they don't care.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Maybe like if you're if we're looking at it in
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: terms of like building skills versus being sort of pampered.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Maybe when men want to be pampered, but in a
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: different way, you know, like maybe it's not like getting
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: their nails did, but it's something else, like a massage.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I don't know. But even then, like what a what
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: a uh? You know, would a twelve year old boy
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: want that?
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: The other thing is like why wouldn't why would it
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: have to be a spa day? Why wouldn't it be
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: In this case, it's like for.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: This, they were picking the most feminine thing they could
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: think of.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: So delicious. I'm sure that boys would enjoy that. Let's
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: bake some cookies together, you know, yeah, let's bake one
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: of your favorite desserts or treats together. I'm sure they
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: would really like that. And you know, developing skills that
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: are considered to be of a more feminine nature. I
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: think even many boys would like that or could Okay,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: men make the best shifts exactly. Okay, So but I
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: used a better example later on if you scroll down.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: All right, so you say I can, I'll use a
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: better example. Then bring your daughter to work day. Multiple
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: times i've heard boys upset over being excluded. Time to
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: end that. And that's a lot bigger and more institutional
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: than a father taking a son on a fishing trip
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: so he can talk about personal things. Yeah, there's all
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: kinds of Yeah, there's all.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Kinds of things that boys arecluted from. They're excluded from
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: take your daughter to work, which I think they've started
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: to change that because they realized how shitty it was.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: They're also excluded from domestic violence shelters as soon as
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: they're turned twelve. They're excluded form most services when it
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: comes to sexual assault and domestic violence, they're you know,
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: they're excluded from. The only thing that they're not preferentially
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: excluded from is the is conscription and selective service.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: You know, like there's all kinds of.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Bursaries and also private spaces that women are supposed to
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: have on college campuses, safe spaces where cisht white men
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: are not allowed to go, you know. So there's all
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: kinds of points at which men and boys are excluded
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: from things, and that includes take your daughter to work day.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: So you can you can continue. I just wanted to
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: point it out.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Boys need to learn learn this lesson of exclusion. They
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: learn it, and maybe part of the reason, maybe the
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: part as they grow and they learn the lesson of exclusion,
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: maybe no longer wanting to take part in the places
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: where they're excluded from is sort of a way of
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: dealing with it, you know what I mean.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Yeah, because when you're.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: When you're like when boys are very young, of course,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: they don't want to be excluded from stuff. They're like,
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: they don't have the emotional resilience to really understand it.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: They want to be included. They want to be with
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: their parent everywhere, right.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: They need to They need to learn that they're not
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: going to be allowed to do that, so they learn that.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: And in the case of feminine interests.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: Maybe I mean, and I'm not saying.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: That there isn't also an inherent distaste for some feminine interests.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Maybe they're also saying I'm not interested in it, because
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: that is a way that they have learned to do.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: That is an that is an emotional coping mechanism for
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: coping with being excluded. Is to say, Okay, I don't
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: want it right. Maybe that's that's something that develops, but anyway,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: let's keep the next one right.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: So then this person Be respond what difference does it
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: make to this girl we're currently talking about the fuck
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: are you talking about? Is this one of those things
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: where we can't be upset about anything because there's African
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: kids starving? And then you so you said she's got
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: to learn that she can't always be included. What do
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: you think boys learn when they are excluded from things?
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Then Be responds, She's not included in everything already, because
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: that's life. What's heartbreaking to her is her father not
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: wanting her on the fun trip with his own other
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: male relatives. It's easy to understand, and it's easy to
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: not be the one wanting to exclude your kids, but
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: to ease her own the father doesn't want to do it.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: He just thinks that it's necessary that this peo. Boys
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: only think, yeah, that's the other thing.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Yeah, they're reading into it. But here's the other thing
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: you're excluding. You're saying, oh, this girl is not going
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: to recover from being excluded. What about boys being told
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: that they are oppressors or that they're responsible for domestic
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: violence and sexual assault and all the other crap that
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: feminists and women often put on boys. That's basically excluding
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: boys from society right off the bat. I mean, it
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: may not be a physical exclusion, but it's a psychological exclusion.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: It's saying you are not a worthy member of society,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: and do we have to consider that? All right, but
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: I know that's a little bit more of a rarefied
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: difficult point, so let's keep going.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: All right. So you said it's not heartbreaking, and if
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: it is, we're destroying boy's hearts all the time. And
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: then B says, if you ever become aware of your
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: mental limitations, you'll be very remorseful and ashamed of your thoughts.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: That's just an ad hominem. This is assuming you're not
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: directly and playing cruel. So it's cruel now. And you said,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: choose one, not heartbreaking or we're breaking boy's hearts all
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: the time. And of course that's where the conversation.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: Has no response to that, because we consider it a
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: matter of that boys deal with and learn to manage
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: our societies excluding them from things, all kinds of things
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: like I don't even know what could go through a
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: child's mind when he has his genitals cut into excluding
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: how that must feel like a complete and utter betrayal. Right,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: you're excluding him from just the warmth and comfort of
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: being an infant. Right. We do this all the time
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: with men and boys.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: We exclude them from things.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: We exclude them from things, not just physically but psychologically.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: What right do we have to take a boy who
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: has only ever really had relationships and been taught by women. Maybe,
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: if he's lucky he has a father, but for the
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: most part, his entire life has been defined by women.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: At some point in his life we start saying you
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: don't really belong to society because you have unearned privilege,
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: that that your connection to society is offensive to us
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: because it involves privilege, it involves you being toxic. And
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: you should start taking responsibility for the behavior of criminals
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: because you are a criminal in a way, because you
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: shared sex with criminals, with all the majority of criminals
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: you know, on all of this other crap, which is
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: psychological exclusion. Right, And we do this constantly to men
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: and boys. We're constantly excluding them from consideration. We're excluding
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: their point of view when they have vulnerabilities. We're excluding
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: them from feeling like they have a that they are
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: proper citizens of the societies that they're part of. We're
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: constantly excluding them, and according to this woman, we are
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: constantly breaking men in boys hearts. And then you get
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: into all the TikTok crap that women get up to
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: that basically says that men are unlovable, the feminist crap
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: that says that men's participation in society is basically anti
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: social and criminal. Like all of this right, and no,
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: we don't have to think about any of it. We
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: don't have to consider any of it. All of this
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: exclusion we do for men and boys. Hell, picking them
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: up out of their lives, making them fight another bunch
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: of young men and boys in another country for our
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: political interests, is that not excluding them?
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: Like, ugh, I think.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Back, Sorry, yeah, yeah, I said, I think it's the
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: only thing that we include them with exclusively almost.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's an inclusion to exclusion basically yea, forcing
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: them out into the boundaries of our society to go
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: fight and kill other men and boys so they can
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: earn their.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: Way back in mm hmmm.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like and we don't have to take responsibility
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: for any of this right, because we don't have to
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: recognize that men have feelings.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, or thoughts or so it's not serving her daughter either,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: because she is going she's not going to be able
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: to withstand disappointment or rejection, like she's like, yeah, go.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Ahead, yeah, she's not gonna be able to withstand arde
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: But sorry I interrupted you. But this is this is
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: really I'm really passionate about this point. Her daughter doesn't
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: exist in any of this. This is what's so aggravating
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: about all the women marching off to war.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: Over this tweet.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: Where is the daughter? This is all based on the
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: mother's assumptions about what the daughter is going through, right,
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: And no point has the daughter has the mother actually
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: seemed to step step the daughter aside and say, hey,
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: what what's going on with you? What's what's going on here? Right?
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: And no point.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: So what we're actually seeing is the manufacturing of the
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: daughter only exists when she's a mouthpiece for the mother's
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: political opinions or a mouthpiece or a part of which
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: the dot and the mother's framework that women are victims
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: of men. So she only exists in this circumstance. So
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: this girl only exists as an extension of her mother's politics.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: And that is and and the women who are defending
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: this woman don't even notice that that this woman is
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: forcing her daughter into a particular framework and she's silencing her.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: She's silencing her by omission.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Sure, Yeah, what's gonna happen.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: This world? I've never asked her what her opinion is
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: on all of this, not mentioned the girl's opinion?
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: Yeah, what happens when she grows up? Go ahead?
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Well, I was gonna say, is not. There's a delay,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: So I have to wait what happens when she hits
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: when she gets her first period? Who is she going
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: to talk to about it? Like that? Like the mom
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: should have been working on this relationship well before this happened.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: So what Eventually, inevitably the daughter is gonna get to
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: a point where she's gonna have questions and she is
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: only going to feel like she has to talk to
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: her mother about those things, right, because like, yeah, so
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: that should have The thing is, I don't see evidence
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: of a groundwork laid out for a healthy relationship between
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: the mother and the daughter. Yes, so that she could
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: come to her and they could like yes, So this
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: is another issue. The father's working on his end Is
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: she just hating because he's doing something that she should
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: be doing. I don't know.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Yes, the mother, the mother. If this there was a
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: freaking relationship between the daughter and the mother, the daughter
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: probably would have expressed something and the mother would have
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: told us what her daughter was expressing. I don't see
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: I don't see why any woman, any mother who is
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: a close relationship with her daughter, with her daughter's opinion
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: about what's going on is not essential information. Although I
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: don't know why the hell is she'd throw it in
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: the public in the first place, But regardless, but here
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: this the other is forcing a particular role on her daughter,
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: a victim she is, she's making it, turning her daughter
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: into someone who does not manage her emotions and instead
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: uses them to manipulate other people. Or she's the daughter
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: maybe just walking away from all of this. She's trying
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: to force her daughter into that role. Right, I don't
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: know what the daughter's doing.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: Because we have no idea.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: So we see a woman who is inflicting footbinding on
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: her daughter. That's what this is, ladies, that's what this is.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: You are she's footbinding her daughter. She is not giving
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: her the proper emotional resilience to overcome these things, and
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: these are the foundations to being able to walk and
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: run in society, to be able to develop skills, to
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: be innovative, to be able to manage yourself and become
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: a whole person. Instead, she's using her daughters as a
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: mouthpiece in a war, a political war or a political
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: idea that she believes gives her resources, either emotional attention
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: or physical. So we are watching this mother force her
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: daughter to conform to her own idea about how she
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: gets things in the greater world, if that makes sense,
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: and in the process she's destroying parts of her daughter's
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: ability to manage the world around her and to overcome problems.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: It's basically what you're saying, Brian. I'm just adding that
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: this is something that the mother is forcing on. If
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: it was a physical thing, we could see it more clearly.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: But she's forcing a psychological footbinding on her daughter. You
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: will see yourself in terms of your victimhood. You will
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: be a prison of your prison of your emotions. Your emotions.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: You will use your emotions to manipulate others to do
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: stuff for you. You will learn these behaviors so that
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: you can take your place in the sisterhood in the
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: wall of chattering skulls.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: All right, all right, so I got another super child,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: and I think we should like wrap it up because
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I gotta go to an appointment. So Great Indoors gives
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: us ten dollars, Thank you, Great Indoors and says, the
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: extent to which the daughter is viewed as entitled to
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: this one trip she's missing out on is the extent
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: to which the nephew is entitled to this soul trip
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: out of several hypothetical trips he will never experience. Otherwise,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: It's amazing how this mother does not consider the nephew's
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: well being at all. Well, it is a nephew in law,
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: and that was one of the things I was thinking about,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: like what is the relationship between this guy's wife and
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: his sister, the husband's wife and sister, right, because it's
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: a sister in law. So I don't know, I just
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: up just put it out there. I don't know, because
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: we we all we have is the mother's perspective. It's
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: the only thing we have. So thank you for the
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: super chow.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: And the funny thing is I get I get a
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: lot of ship for being a misogynist But what I
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: despise is the process that that women go through where
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: they take a girl with potential and they cut off
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: her body and turn her into a chattering skull for
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: the wall of the Sisterhood's chattering skull wall.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Hm hmm. Well that that's an image.
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: Well I want I want people to understand how vile
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: this is. Like, this is vile and the I know
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: that the father, you know, this is not fair to
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: the father, but this is a destruction of the daughter.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: She's a kid and her mother is destroy her mm hm.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: And I'm just astounded at all the women marching to
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: the defense of the mother.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: Here.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Yeah, take your place in the chattering skull wall, dearie.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: You don't need those hands and legs. All you need
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: is a mouth and a skull. Okay, all right, If
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: I keep talking about it's gonna infuriate me even more
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: because I can say one thing about you know, like
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: I've always said that me and my mom we had
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: a rough relationship because she's she wasn't she wasn't a
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: nurturing person, I'll put it that way.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: But one thing she never.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Did was that, Yeah, she would have never.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: Done that to me.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: She would never have encouraged me to indulge my emotional
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: bullshit and try to use it to manipulate others.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: So I give her that. I mean, I could give
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: her a lot.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Like I said with Natty, the more that I have
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: listened to and heard what women have to say, the
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: more I appreciate my mother. It's very strange because she
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: may have been something of a drill sergeant, but at
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: least she didn't turn me into that. Okay, all right,
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: So with that those final words, I shouldn't have used
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: the word final. Sorry, guys, I will do the things
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: and we will move on to the next I hope
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: that visual really impacts people, like just cutting women's heads
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: off and shoving them into the chattering, chattering skull wall
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: of the sisterhood. All right, So anyway, if you would
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: like to say, if you would like to tell me
