- 0:00Speaker 1: You ready, Yeah, you can do coming up home. What
- 0:03Speaker 1: if I don't want to coming up on relatables.
- 0:06Speaker 2: So instead I would go in the stables and then
- 0:10Speaker 2: like shovel it out with all the horse crew and
- 0:14Speaker 2: put out the back.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Wait wait, so what you'd go on the stable? So
- 0:20Speaker 1: have you done this one once? Oh?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Wait? How many times? J relatable part? You are listening
- 0:38Speaker 1: to relatables? Welcome back, everybody. You're here at the I'd
- 0:43Speaker 1: like to say a modest like, probably tenth best podcasts
- 0:48Speaker 1: in the world. We're getting tenth and you're here. We're
- 0:51Speaker 1: in the top one percent. As you guys know, if
- 0:53Speaker 1: you're a long time listener, you're in the top one percent.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And I just want to let some I'm here with
- 0:58Speaker 1: to my left, I've got Addie a a KA Mummy,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and I am joined by Jake AKA Daddy. Let's just
- 1:04Speaker 1: be those OnlyFans models that claim like zero point zero
- 1:07Speaker 1: zero one percent exactly, every single Only Friends model I
- 1:11Speaker 1: don't know from experience says top zero point zero one percent.
- 1:16Speaker 1: They all are. They all are. And you know what
- 1:17Speaker 1: we are, top one percent, top one percent. I wonder
- 1:21Speaker 1: once you get to the amount of episodes we've done.
- 1:23Speaker 1: What are you like? I guess in terms of how
- 1:26Speaker 1: many episodes you've published, what would you be? I think
- 1:29Speaker 1: it goes off listens at some point not just having published,
- 1:32Speaker 1: like they would be podcasts that there's published thousands and
- 1:34Speaker 1: they haven't grown anys Oh true, like they would be
- 1:40Speaker 1: as a passion project. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 1: I hear you. Today, I wanted to start the episode
- 1:45Speaker 1: off with I came across something on Instagram. It was
- 1:48Speaker 1: a question and I kind of didn't know how I
- 1:51Speaker 1: would answer it, and I wanted to see how what
- 1:52Speaker 1: what you would say? Spot Your wife has been kidnapped
- 1:58Speaker 1: and is being held in a location thirty minutes away.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You're driving to rescue her. It's a warm night and
- 2:06Speaker 1: your windows are down. Do you listen to music on
- 2:09Speaker 1: the drive? Yes? Or no? Windows are down, warm night
- 2:16Speaker 1: windows and down thirty four minutes. I'm plans and vibes.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Oh no, no, to be fair, if she's kidnapped, I'm
- 2:24Speaker 1: listening to like some eminem I like, I'm listening to something.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I first off was thinking, wait, I wouldn't listen to
- 2:30Speaker 1: anything because I'd be stressing. But I think I would
- 2:34Speaker 1: need to listen to some mission impossible, something mission impossible,
- 2:40Speaker 1: James Bond like some James Bond like yours getting me
- 2:46Speaker 1: in the mood. But I don't know. I think so
- 2:48Speaker 1: you definitely would have some music on that's half an hour,
- 2:53Speaker 1: like I'm not being in my thoughts, No I have
- 2:54Speaker 1: to because I'm thinking about her safety and well being.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'd be going with that song where are I'm That's
- 3:07Speaker 1: good the dilemma actually, seriously, Like, here's the thing I
- 3:11Speaker 1: was thinking though, is let's say you go and you
- 3:14Speaker 1: get her, you know, you listen to your music and
- 3:15Speaker 1: you get her all in a timely matter. You know,
- 3:18Speaker 1: it's all timely, Like she doesn't think like, oh he
- 3:20Speaker 1: talks so long. Yeah, you know you didn't. You didn't
- 3:22Speaker 1: get in the car and connect your phone connected automatically,
- 3:25Speaker 1: all right. Yeah, you're like, hey, Siri, play you didn't
- 3:29Speaker 1: waste any time exactly. She's not gonna know, but kay
- 3:33Speaker 1: got me the time about her. And then there's this
- 3:34Speaker 1: new thing that Spotify does where it's like you go
- 3:36Speaker 1: on it and goes resuming Tortured Poets to party, and
- 3:40Speaker 1: then you get in the car and then it goes
- 3:42Speaker 1: and it's like resuming blink one eighty two or whatever
- 3:44Speaker 1: you like. You're listening to music, just jamming out what
- 3:50Speaker 1: do you want me to do? Oh my god, that's funny,
- 3:55Speaker 1: that's very funny. Oh man, all right, but today, Jake,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I want to to bring up next the threat of
- 4:02Speaker 1: the week. I'd say, yeah, if girls didn't exist, it
- 4:06Speaker 1: was so, what would the world be like if girls
- 4:10Speaker 1: didn't exist? There'd be no little spoons? Whoa, what the fuck?
- 4:16Speaker 1: I didn't even think of that, mind boggling. What would
- 4:19Speaker 1: you do in bed? What? But I was also thinking of, like,
- 4:23Speaker 1: you know those little spoons you used for tea? Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I wouldn't use it. A guy wouldn't invent one of them. No,
- 4:29Speaker 1: not at all, No fucking hell, if girls didn't exist,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I got a couple simple ones off a stark. If
- 4:37Speaker 1: girls didn't exist, we wouldn't have gotten out of the
- 4:40Speaker 1: stone age. Oh we wouldn't have either, no way. We
- 4:44Speaker 1: wouldn't have round wheels, so it wouldn't be much sophistication.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I don't think. That's sort of like one of mine.
- 4:52Speaker 1: If girls didn't exist, we would resolve all problems with
- 4:55Speaker 1: physical fights. Oh true, wars wouldn't end. Yeah, they'd just
- 4:59Speaker 1: be a good night. If girls didn't exist, my bed
- 5:07Speaker 1: would only have one pillow on it. I kind of
- 5:11Speaker 1: wish it did. Still, I kind of wish it did.
- 5:13Speaker 1: That was a simple time in life. I kind of
- 5:14Speaker 1: wished to decrease. There's no distraction. You don't have to
- 5:19Speaker 1: put them on and off your bed when you go
- 5:20Speaker 1: to sleep. I make my bed with my pillow there,
- 5:23Speaker 1: pillow goes under the duna goes over top of the
- 5:26Speaker 1: pillow when it's made, and that was perfect. It doesn't
- 5:28Speaker 1: move ever. No, it's a simple time. This was a
- 5:31Speaker 1: perfect moment in life for me. If girls didn't exist,
- 5:35Speaker 1: global warming would be ten times worse. Oh honestly, probably right.
- 5:42Speaker 1: They care about the planet way more. Like I'm decent,
- 5:44Speaker 1: but girls, like I know a lot of dudes it
- 5:46Speaker 1: just don't even recycle. Yeah, I think I no, I
- 5:49Speaker 1: agree with it. I think it just the little things
- 5:52Speaker 1: they do extra, Yeah, picking up rubbish at the beach.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I know some dudes do it, but it's more I
- 5:58Speaker 1: definitely like to do that. Yeah, but I know if
- 6:00Speaker 1: they weren't he it'd be terrible. But even like, I
- 6:03Speaker 1: don't know, I feel like it's a girl thing to be.
- 6:06Speaker 1: You know, they they like to get their steps in
- 6:09Speaker 1: way more than guys. So they'll go, you know, if
- 6:11Speaker 1: it's the middle of the day and they're they're going
- 6:13Speaker 1: to go somewhere, they'll go, oh, I'll walk there instead
- 6:16Speaker 1: of drive, drive fucking drive. Everyone don't care. That's ridiculous.
- 6:21Speaker 1: If girls didn't exist, pickup lines wouldn't exist. They wouldn't either,
- 6:28Speaker 1: no need for them. Cat calling wouldn't exist, no need
- 6:31Speaker 1: for them, no where. They're not needed anyway. Cat calls
- 6:34Speaker 1: aren't they pick up lines? You wouldn't need, no, not
- 6:37Speaker 1: at all. What would we do with our spare time?
- 6:41Speaker 1: I don't know, probably eat dirt, eat wormstag or kids. Again,
- 6:48Speaker 1: if girls didn't exist, every shop would show some type
- 6:51Speaker 1: of betting on it, Yes, agreed, agreed, every every sport.
- 6:56Speaker 1: And then also we'd be betting on the dumbest things.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you'd be able to. I think you can
- 6:59Speaker 1: actually bet on like presidential races. Presidential like I'm pretty sure,
- 7:06Speaker 1: meaning you know how Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 1: they're both like running for president. In bet who's gonna
- 7:12Speaker 1: win that, I'm pretty sure you can put a bet. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 1: you can put a bet on it. Any I think
- 7:16Speaker 1: you can bet on like fifth League kids tennis and
- 7:18Speaker 1: stuff like that, like they have one camera. Literally, I
- 7:22Speaker 1: think you're right. You can put bets on so much
- 7:25Speaker 1: random stuff. That's an addiction. If girls didn't exist, it
- 7:30Speaker 1: would be very very quiet. It would do sounds. There
- 7:42Speaker 1: would just be no yappen. No, it'd be nothing. It
- 7:45Speaker 1: would be so peaceful, maybe too peaceful, maybe too peaceful.
- 7:51Speaker 1: If girls didn't exist, social media would just be for
- 7:54Speaker 1: posting what fish we caught? Facts? What the fuck? That's
- 8:01Speaker 1: so true. I would love to see like in history,
- 8:04Speaker 1: like in twenty probably a hundred years time, the evolution
- 8:07Speaker 1: of social media. Yeah, surely females pioneered this thing. We
- 8:11Speaker 1: gotta go on, I have to have to have whoa.
- 8:13Speaker 1: That's such a good point. It's like going off that
- 8:16Speaker 1: I guess if girl did. If girls didn't exist, Like,
- 8:20Speaker 1: if girls didn't exist, my fashion sense would be broad
- 8:24Speaker 1: shorts and a teacher. That's what one of my things
- 8:25Speaker 1: was really for the rest of my life, A fashion
- 8:29Speaker 1: sense would be dead. If girls didn't exist, we wouldn't
- 8:34Speaker 1: know what giving or receiving love is. Like, Oh no,
- 8:39Speaker 1: it wouldn't either, not at all. From a young age,
- 8:42Speaker 1: that's where you know your mom first thing. Yeah, you
- 8:44Speaker 1: wouldn't know how to receive it at all or give it.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You wouldn't what to do. We wouldn't know how to
- 8:49Speaker 1: talk about our feelings. No, we barely do. Now. That's
- 8:52Speaker 1: what I'm like growing now from eighteen to twenty. All
- 8:54Speaker 1: props is given the females in my life, Like I
- 8:57Speaker 1: reckon working on talking about my feelings. If girls didn't exist,
- 9:00Speaker 1: skin care would be the smallest industry. Shit, I was
- 9:05Speaker 1: going that's so true. I was going to say, if
- 9:07Speaker 1: girls didn't exist, stuff like deodorant would be the smallest
- 9:10Speaker 1: industry because we would smell terrible. We would do Oh
- 9:15Speaker 1: my god, if girls didn't exist, laundry detergent wouldn't exist.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Oh no, it wouldn't because we would just handle something
- 9:21Speaker 1: in a river. We would if that, we just wouldn't
- 9:25Speaker 1: wear anything. Seriously, I know, what the fuck are you out?
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to I kind of about if girls didn't exist,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I don't think gyms would exist. We wouldn't. A lot
- 9:39Speaker 1: of reasons dudes get into the gym is to impress girls,
- 9:42Speaker 1: although not the right reasons, Like I can ninety five
- 9:46Speaker 1: percent dude start to try and get a girl. You're
- 9:49Speaker 1: probably right, the wouldn't be as many. We wouldn't care
- 9:51Speaker 1: about our looks, no, nothing, we wouldn't care. We need
- 9:55Speaker 1: the we need the balance. We do we definitely need
- 9:57Speaker 1: to do. I do question. Next week is going to
- 10:01Speaker 1: be if guys didn't exist? And then finish this sentence,
- 10:06Speaker 1: I honestly, it'll be like a utopia, would be like Barbie.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I just just I think the world might actually be
- 10:12Speaker 1: so the world. Look, it's all right right now. And
- 10:15Speaker 1: if girls didn't exist, it would be worse. But if
- 10:17Speaker 1: if guys didn't exist, it'd probably be better. I know,
- 10:20Speaker 1: I wonder what it would be like, Pink, I'm not
- 10:28Speaker 1: my last one. If girls didn't exist, food options would
- 10:32Speaker 1: be so boring. What the that's what the fuck? That's
- 10:36Speaker 1: so like seasonings. We wouldn't have any of them. Oh
- 10:40Speaker 1: my god. We maybe would have discovered salt. We would
- 10:42Speaker 1: have maybe we would have tomato. Sauce would be the
- 10:44Speaker 1: only type of sort. We'd just be figuring out that
- 10:46Speaker 1: you can cook meat. Literally, we would have been eating
- 10:52Speaker 1: chicken and getting sick up until today. Yeah, I know
- 10:56Speaker 1: we need them, damn all right. Up Next is nice
- 11:03Speaker 1: guy or fuck Boys back for return. So if you
- 11:06Speaker 1: guys want some visuals, we figure out if the guy's
- 11:10Speaker 1: Instagram profile is a nice guy fuck boy, head on
- 11:13Speaker 1: over YouTube for some visuals. Otherwise the episode is the
- 11:15Speaker 1: same throughout Love Up. Next is Confession Sessions. Jake very
- 11:27Speaker 1: exciting with the prompt being one of our favorites. If
- 11:31Speaker 1: you gotta go, you gotta go, And we had a
- 11:34Speaker 1: call not wanting to be anonymous, No, she wasn't even anonymous.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Surprisingly say good honor, I say, I say good honor.
- 11:42Speaker 1: We're normalizing when you gotta go, you gotta go. Everyone
- 11:45Speaker 1: does it. If we can admit it, they can admit.
- 11:46Speaker 1: If you've got a story, send it to our It's
- 11:48Speaker 1: on our little LinkedIn. So if you go go to
- 11:51Speaker 1: our Instagram and you'll go go click on the link
- 11:53Speaker 1: on the comeo link or whatever it is, and the
- 11:55Speaker 1: scroll to the bottom there you can submit a confession
- 11:58Speaker 1: and then we'll get in touch. But please joy, when
- 12:00Speaker 1: you got to go, you got to go. Hello, Hello,
- 12:04Speaker 1: welcome to Confession Sessions. How are you going?
- 12:07Speaker 2: It's fabulous? How are you going?
- 12:09Speaker 1: I'm good? Thank you. I'm joined by Jacob my right. Hello. Hello, Hello. Well,
- 12:15Speaker 1: first things first is would you like to be anonymous
- 12:17Speaker 1: for your story.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I honestly, I do not mind at all. My name
- 12:26Speaker 2: is Lucy.
- 12:28Speaker 1: To me, very nice to meet you, Lucy. And the
- 12:31Speaker 1: prompt today is when you got to go, you gotta go?
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yes, you do? That is you can't hold it Me.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And Jacobean opening up about this on the pod, and
- 12:42Speaker 1: I read your story and it was quite funny, so
- 12:44Speaker 1: I thought everyone had to hear it. So if you
- 12:46Speaker 1: want to take it away from the top and we interact.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Ah, yeah, absolutely so pretty much. A couple of years ago,
- 12:54Speaker 2: I worked in like private stables with horses and there
- 12:59Speaker 2: wasn't like a bar through there, and so if I
- 13:02Speaker 2: had to go, I'd have to walk up to like
- 13:04Speaker 2: the family house, say hard to her parents, and then
- 13:07Speaker 2: like leave and go back to work. It's a bit awkward.
- 13:13Speaker 2: So really I couldn't go in take a ship and
- 13:18Speaker 2: and yeah, I just I couldn't do it to myself.
- 13:24Speaker 2: So instead I would go in the stables and then
- 13:28Speaker 2: like shovel it out with all the horse crew and
- 13:31Speaker 2: put it out the back.
- 13:35Speaker 1: What you'd go on the stable? So have you done
- 13:38Speaker 1: this one once? Oh?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:41Speaker 1: Wait? How many times? Oh?
- 13:44Speaker 2: I don't know. I probably I worked there for like
- 13:46Speaker 2: a year and a half, so like sometimes like.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Sometimes it could be like five times a week because
- 13:51Speaker 1: quite often you've got to go once a day at least.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I'd say it would at least like once
- 13:58Speaker 2: a week.
- 13:59Speaker 1: So when I was reading this story, I thought it
- 14:01Speaker 1: was a one off thing.
- 14:04Speaker 2: No, no, no, it wasn't.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Oh my god. And then so you just so you're
- 14:10Speaker 1: getting paid to shovel your own ship?
- 14:12Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty much. It was spectbular.
- 14:15Speaker 1: You were you the one that were either one that
- 14:17Speaker 1: had to shove the ship or were you just like
- 14:18Speaker 1: taking care of the horses and someone else had to
- 14:20Speaker 1: do the ship shoveling job and they were showing No,
- 14:23Speaker 1: it was just me.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So I do everything on one day, so I was
- 14:26Speaker 2: alone most of the time, which is nice.
- 14:28Speaker 1: That's so, how old are you? I'm just thinking, I'm funny.
- 14:33Speaker 2: True.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Why do you think this was like something to do?
- 14:38Speaker 2: Do you? What was that?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Sorry? Why do you think you wanted to do this? Like?
- 14:41Speaker 1: Why did you keep doing it? Not go after the house?
- 14:44Speaker 1: I would go, I'll go to the house too.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Oh well it was just a bit more convenient too,
- 14:48Speaker 2: because like I didn't.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Have to walk there, how far was the house from
- 14:51Speaker 1: the stables?
- 14:52Speaker 2: Oh not not actually that far?
- 14:54Speaker 1: Maybe like you, that's funny. I I personally don't have
- 14:59Speaker 1: the shame of Like if if I'm working for someone
- 15:02Speaker 1: and they say, oh, the only toilet is one in
- 15:04Speaker 1: our house. To me, that's them saying we accept you
- 15:07Speaker 1: taking a ship in our house. So I would take
- 15:09Speaker 1: a ship in the.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I have all the shame.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Would you pee out there as well? Would you go
- 15:15Speaker 1: to the house to pee?
- 15:17Speaker 2: I'd go to the house to pee, okay, fair, yes, yeah,
- 15:21Speaker 2: I just didn't want to like stink it out.
- 15:25Speaker 1: The thing about okay, this is getting deep. But the
- 15:27Speaker 1: thing about so horse manure obviously it smells like manure,
- 15:32Speaker 1: but human ship smells different. It's like a different level
- 15:35Speaker 1: of bad. So would you I'm still mind blown by this.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Would wipe? Actually we're not asking enough questions.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Well, so they there were like baby whites down there,
- 15:49Speaker 2: so we use them to clean out the horses noses
- 15:53Speaker 2: and sometimes myself.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Well, fair enough, honestly, you probably have a cleaner bump.
- 15:58Speaker 1: That's funny. Yeah, yeah, that's what I was thinking.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Honestly, I don't know. I don't think I did. I
- 16:05Speaker 2: think i'd remember it if I did.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that's very true. And also you probably just got
- 16:09Speaker 1: so confident in the end as well. Like the first
- 16:10Speaker 1: time you did it, was it kind of like a
- 16:13Speaker 1: conversation in your head thinking, funck, should I just there's
- 16:15Speaker 1: a toilet in the house, I'll just go to the house,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and then you just thought, no, I'm doing it here.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah. I was like I contemplated it a lot, whether
- 16:22Speaker 2: I should or should not, and one.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Was it a bit more like, ah, yeah, I've already
- 16:28Speaker 1: done it. Well, that makes me feel better about my story.
- 16:33Speaker 1: That's so so funny, honestly. Well, thank you very much, Lucy,
- 16:37Speaker 1: you for telling that. Yeah, thank you so much.
- 16:39Speaker 2: That's all right, no worries at all.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And you said you've moved jobs. Now have you got
- 16:43Speaker 1: a toilet to go to?
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yes? I do. I do have a toilet. I have
- 16:47Speaker 2: about seven actually, So what do you.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Do for work? Now?
- 16:52Speaker 2: I'm a sparky so awesome. Yeah, change of.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Direction, that's awesome, very cool. Yeah, thank you, Well, enjoy
- 17:00Speaker 1: enjoy the rest of your day.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yes, thanks you too.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Sorry, Lucy. Wait, when as soon as she started talking
- 17:13Speaker 1: about horse day was I was like, Okay, I know
- 17:14Speaker 1: where she did it, but I also was like with you,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be a one when
- 17:18Speaker 1: I was reading it. Oh my god. When normalizing when
- 17:24Speaker 1: you gotta go, you gotta go, I think it's a
- 17:27Speaker 1: lot more normal than people think. I remember I was
- 17:33Speaker 1: watching a podcast and Crystal Lea was in it and
- 17:36Speaker 1: he was talking about a story. One time he was
- 17:38Speaker 1: on tour and they hired like a tour van and
- 17:42Speaker 1: it was or to a bus or whatever didn't have
- 17:44Speaker 1: a toilet on it. That was like a small enough
- 17:46Speaker 1: to not have a toilet, And he said they were
- 17:48Speaker 1: getting to a place and he said that he was
- 17:49Speaker 1: sitting there and he said to the driver it was
- 17:51Speaker 1: they were in like a neighborhood, like proper neighborhood, cars
- 17:54Speaker 1: houses either side, and he said that he had to
- 17:57Speaker 1: ship so bad that he said to the driver. The
- 17:59Speaker 1: driver said, twenty minutes still in the next Starbucks. I
- 18:01Speaker 1: hate when they say that when you gotta go, you
- 18:05Speaker 1: gotta go. And then he said that they the driver,
- 18:08Speaker 1: I think he must have missed a turn or something.
- 18:10Speaker 1: And then he goes to you. He just said he
- 18:12Speaker 1: was fat up and he goes nap pull over, pulls
- 18:14Speaker 1: over on a residential street. He makes the driver pull over,
- 18:16Speaker 1: hops out, goes behind someone's tree, takes a ship in
- 18:19Speaker 1: their yard, and runs back to the bars and keeps going. Oh,
- 18:24Speaker 1: shitting yourself. Stories there funny, it's so funny, and it's
- 18:27Speaker 1: so normal, it's very normal. But man, is it it's
- 18:30Speaker 1: just so gross. I know it's pretty gross. You ever,
- 18:33Speaker 1: just to finish it, just to finish this the very
- 18:37Speaker 1: the one of the things I will always think of
- 18:39Speaker 1: whenever I'm leaving the house and it's a and it's
- 18:41Speaker 1: a place that I've never been. So if I go
- 18:44Speaker 1: to what places have been, then I'm more comfortable because
- 18:46Speaker 1: I know that there's a toilet. But if there's if
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm ever going to a place that I've never been,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm always just like, please have a toilet, Please have
- 18:54Speaker 1: a toilet. For some reason, always I stress too, even
- 18:56Speaker 1: with this this that story though, this girl. When I
- 18:59Speaker 1: go do gunny jobs are used to to take a piss. Yeah,
- 19:02Speaker 1: I would like be nervous to take a piss in
- 19:04Speaker 1: someone's garden in case they saw me. Yeah, because it's
- 19:07Speaker 1: like kind of like this rude just a little bit,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and I'm like, it's only pissed And I go to
- 19:12Speaker 1: like a corner and I'm like trying to hide myself,
- 19:13Speaker 1: which is kind of a lot easier to do. So
- 19:17Speaker 1: I was just the adrenaline. I get a little bit of adrenaline, like, oh,
- 19:20Speaker 1: they don't see me. And sometimes if you're thinking, like
- 19:22Speaker 1: is it taking a time, like this stream is not. Yeah,
- 19:25Speaker 1: it's going. When you gotta go, you gotta go. Alrighty, guys,
- 19:39Speaker 1: We've got a dilemma for you on this Monday. My
- 19:44Speaker 1: best friend and I have been best friends since we
- 19:46Speaker 1: were born. Today we are grown ask women at the
- 19:50Speaker 1: ripe age of twenty three. Back in twenty nineteen, we
- 19:53Speaker 1: booked a vacation decrease with one of our mutual friends.
- 19:56Speaker 1: As we came as we came to the time we
- 19:59Speaker 1: had to pay for the vacation, my best friend told
- 20:01Speaker 1: me she didn't want to go because she didn't have
- 20:03Speaker 1: the money and felt pressured bias to go on this vacation.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I never really got to know why she felt pressured,
- 20:10Speaker 1: since we all wanted the vacation so bad. After exam period, anyway,
- 20:14Speaker 1: we got into a fight since she didn't pay and
- 20:16Speaker 1: it was too late for us to cancel her on
- 20:18Speaker 1: the ticket. I then had to pay for two tickets.
- 20:22Speaker 1: In the end, Corona came and I eventually got some
- 20:24Speaker 1: of my money back and we figured things out and
- 20:26Speaker 1: became best friends again. Fast forward to present day. Beginning
- 20:28Speaker 1: of twenty twenty three, me my same friend talked about
- 20:31Speaker 1: traveling to Asia together. We both had great jobs and
- 20:35Speaker 1: plenty of time for saving some money. We planned a
- 20:38Speaker 1: trip and bought some plane tickets in summer twenty twenty three.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Two months are before departure November twenty three. November twenty
- 20:45Speaker 1: twenty three, I told her we had to pay the
- 20:47Speaker 1: trip by the end of the month. She then tells
- 20:50Speaker 1: me she doesn't have the money to pay for the
- 20:52Speaker 1: rest of the trip. I got so sad and mad.
- 20:54Speaker 1: She told me I could do whatever I want with
- 20:55Speaker 1: the tickets. My two options were to go to Asia alone,
- 21:00Speaker 1: which I was not comfortable with, or get the tickets refunded.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I chose to get them refunded. My parents told me
- 21:06Speaker 1: to keep the money I would get back, so I
- 21:08Speaker 1: would so it would cover my expenses. So that's what
- 21:11Speaker 1: I did. I feel like I got half half an
- 21:13Speaker 1: apology from her, and I did tell her I forgave
- 21:16Speaker 1: her because I thought I did. But now I don't
- 21:18Speaker 1: know if I actually do fully forgive her. I have
- 21:20Speaker 1: a weird feeling when we talk. I kind of don't
- 21:23Speaker 1: want to talk when we do, so I guess my
- 21:26Speaker 1: dilemma is if I should talk to her about it
- 21:28Speaker 1: again or just leave it. I don't want to lose
- 21:30Speaker 1: her as a friend, But Ryan now she doesn't feel
- 21:32Speaker 1: like one. What should I do? Oh? Okay, it's a
- 21:35Speaker 1: bit of passed dramas has popping back up as obviously
- 21:38Speaker 1: left a sour taste in her mouth. Yeah, God, that
- 21:41Speaker 1: just sounds like a fuck around, to be honest with you,
- 21:43Speaker 1: what's wrong with a friend? Like saying she'll do it,
- 21:45Speaker 1: planning everything and then getting cold feet a month before. Yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: money doesn't seem to be an issue. I don't know.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Is it one of those people just say yes to
- 21:54Speaker 1: everything and then they get scared? It seems like a
- 21:56Speaker 1: big thing to say yes to and then back out of,
- 21:59Speaker 1: especially like you see them. You obviously booked it together.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Should be like, oh, you want to stay at this place?
- 22:04Speaker 1: She's like yeah, sure, and then mount there she's like,
- 22:06Speaker 1: oh no I can't come. Sorry man. Yeah, but even
- 22:10Speaker 1: if you couldn't afford it, Like could you afford like
- 22:13Speaker 1: a week at least. Yeah, I don't know. I don't
- 22:16Speaker 1: know if you could do something, but I don't know.
- 22:18Speaker 1: With this friendship, you're just not obviously planning any type
- 22:22Speaker 1: of trips of her just don't work. No, I mean
- 22:25Speaker 1: with her you would it would, I would say, just
- 22:28Speaker 1: never plan a trip with her again. You lost that
- 22:30Speaker 1: element of your friendship. You guys can be friends at home,
- 22:33Speaker 1: which is kind of a big thing though you kind
- 22:34Speaker 1: of want to plan, Like it's exciting to plan trips
- 22:36Speaker 1: with someone else, it is. I mean, have you got
- 22:40Speaker 1: other friends you can go with? She would have said
- 22:42Speaker 1: that she would have done that if she could have.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I'm just this happens all the time though, Like is
- 22:46Speaker 1: it a growth thing? Like are you ready to develop
- 22:49Speaker 1: as a person and go to another country? And she's
- 22:51Speaker 1: just scared to leave her town? Is that what it is?
- 22:54Speaker 1: You're leaving her behind? She's not ready because some people
- 22:56Speaker 1: don't like traveling and exploring. No, And I guess, I
- 22:59Speaker 1: mean it's she doesn't have to, but she doesn't have
- 23:01Speaker 1: to say yes to them. It's just tricky. I don't know.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I feel like there's something in there with growth that
- 23:05Speaker 1: you're growing apart. Yeah, true, that's a hard thing to accept.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I hear you like, I would fuck this. Things would
- 23:12Speaker 1: just piss me off. I just don't know. I think
- 23:13Speaker 1: you could distance yourself. I feel like it's you're probably feeling.
- 23:16Speaker 1: The feeling that you have right now is pretty valid
- 23:18Speaker 1: to like, actually, maybe just leave it and not contact her.
- 23:25Speaker 1: But if she contacts you, like it's a best friend,
- 23:27Speaker 1: why Yeah, I don't know though, like is it her
- 23:30Speaker 1: best friend? Best friends don't do that. I would try
- 23:32Speaker 1: and move on too, Honestly, if I'm being honest, it's
- 23:34Speaker 1: just fucking you're around, a fucking your life around, just
- 23:36Speaker 1: annoying tricky one. It does seem very tricky. I think
- 23:39Speaker 1: my best advice would be to sounds like you really
- 23:42Speaker 1: want this girl. Where's kind of trips? My best advice
- 23:45Speaker 1: would be is maybe plan a trip within Australia so
- 23:48Speaker 1: you feel safe going on your own, and then if
- 23:50Speaker 1: you go somewhere on your own, go somewhere else outside
- 23:52Speaker 1: of Australia on your own. Yeah, and I hate that
- 23:55Speaker 1: how it's harder for girls to go traveling by themselves.
- 23:58Speaker 1: But don't let anyone else like stop you from going
- 24:02Speaker 1: and traveling just because you need someone else there A
- 24:04Speaker 1: lot of people wouldn't be able to do it by himself. No,
- 24:08Speaker 1: and I reckon step, step by step, start in Australia,
- 24:10Speaker 1: then maybe after this year, go to the next one,
- 24:12Speaker 1: go overseas. Yeah, and you might if you might even
- 24:14Speaker 1: meet people that want to go traveling. And but I
- 24:16Speaker 1: think also a lot of like in Balley, we met
- 24:19Speaker 1: a few people that traveled alone and said it was
- 24:21Speaker 1: the funnest time ever and that it could be sketchy.
- 24:23Speaker 1: But I think you can do it in safe ways.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I think if you did your research you could do
- 24:27Speaker 1: it in a safe way. Yeah, I think so too. Yeah,
- 24:29Speaker 1: if you had your wits about you meet like minded people,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I mean personally oddie and I've admitted I'm not the time.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't be the type to go travel a different
- 24:37Speaker 1: country on my own. No, that doesn't interest me though. Yeah,
- 24:39Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't. I just I can't see
- 24:40Speaker 1: me enjoying going somewhere, staying in a hostel because we
- 24:45Speaker 1: could happily not talk to anybody. Yeah, like if people
- 24:49Speaker 1: some people rely on communication with other people. If I
- 24:51Speaker 1: went on a trip by myself for a month, I'd
- 24:53Speaker 1: happily not talk to any one for a month.
- 24:55Speaker 2: You know what?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Same? Yeah, which is crazy. I was my girlfriend was
- 25:02Speaker 1: saying the other day. She was saying, it's she said,
- 25:05Speaker 1: So we're very different to some people. I could. Like,
- 25:09Speaker 1: a good day to me is wake up, edit, eat, edit,
- 25:16Speaker 1: go to the gym, come home, edit, have dinner. Yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 1: watch a show that day, and I don't talk to
- 25:23Speaker 1: anyone the whole day. That's like a really good day
- 25:25Speaker 1: to I don't need I don't. I don't. I don't
- 25:28Speaker 1: crave social interaction. Yeah, but some people need, Like even
- 25:33Speaker 1: if they just they go and they get a coffee,
- 25:35Speaker 1: even if it's on their own, but they go, they
- 25:37Speaker 1: talk to the barista, they hear a conversation that they
- 25:39Speaker 1: need such the stimulation they need it, which I just don't.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I like the silence. Yeah, I'm I think we're the
- 25:45Speaker 1: same in that aspect, don't we more than happy to
- 25:46Speaker 1: just be sitting to my own thing. Because when I'm
- 25:49Speaker 1: out and about is the last thing I want is
- 25:51Speaker 1: to talk to someone. I hate that. Yeah, And like,
- 25:53Speaker 1: unless I'm with someone I know, but the last thing
- 25:55Speaker 1: I want is to be having a chat with a
- 25:57Speaker 1: random person because small tour. Oh Ever, and imagine if
- 26:02Speaker 1: you're on your own. I bet you if you went
- 26:04Speaker 1: traveling on your own for months and months, it would
- 26:07Speaker 1: be like, because we don't like talking to people, we
- 26:09Speaker 1: would get so lonely. Oh yeah, because we reckon, we
- 26:13Speaker 1: would for months and months. Maybe Also, if you're doing
- 26:18Speaker 1: stuff like going on hikes and you're going to see
- 26:19Speaker 1: all this cool shit and if you're exploring, I don't
- 26:22Speaker 1: think we would. I think would be fine.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Maybe it's a different in different type of Mindset's two
- 26:26Speaker 1: types of people in the world, definitely, and then both
- 26:29Speaker 1: of them. All right, I hope we helped a little bit.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Radio guys, thank you for listening. That's it for today.
